life is so short :( you only get to watch the seasons go from summer to fall to winter to spring 80 or so times. there are people already through 20 of them. it was summer just a few ago, i swear it was january yesterday. but now it’s late spring.

it’ll be next summer in a few weeks. that’s one more summer off my counter and i barely experienced it, and now i have to do another. i feel like my lifes going away

we always joke about tumblr being a hellsite but i cant emphasise enough how you guys are slowly helping me get over my insecurities (without you knowing) one by one. since i can remember, a dimple in my chin has been my number one enemy but then i see people on here liking dominik szoboszlai's dimpled chin and i get warm all over. for years ive hated my smile because my lips arent full and perfect but you guys tag lando's pictures with tags full of praise for his cute lips and i get giggly. i hated smiling cuz of my nonperfect teeth and the front teeth gap but you guys use 'teeth gap' and 'endearing' in the same sentence when talking about lewis hamilton and it makes me feel like maybe beauty really is subjective and beauty standards suck

Logan reached up into the closet, struggling to pull out the game without knocking down all the others. He wished the twins learned how to put things up neatly, it would save everyone some trouble. This was something special he had been saving though, and he was excited to show Virgil. Being the youngest, he knew it was difficult to find games they all enjoyed, but that wasn't an issue today. Roman had dress rehearsal and Remus was at the pet store, presumably looking at the rats. It was just the two of them today. Once everything was set up, he walked upstairs and gently rapped on the doorframe.

He was greeted with a frown, but Virgil turned towards the wall after a moment. "Hey, um- I was wondering if you wanted to do something..." He waited, and after realizing he wouldn't go without a response, his son lowered his headphones and engaged in the conversation. "What is it?" He wasn't sure now if he wanted to play now, but continued anyway. "A boardgame. It's kind of vampire themed, but I'm not exactly sure how it works." "Oh. Okay." Logan nodded and went back to the table. Eventually Virgil came down, but he didn't seem enthused. This was something he had never understood. He complained and grumbled about so many things, but proceeded to do them. If he wasn't happy, why didn't he do something that was pleasing? It was strange to him, but he would just do his best to make sure there was the choice to say "no". As Virgil sat down, he read the rules, hoping he wasn't forcing anything upon his emo.

I've gotten some real fuckin sweet comments on my fics lately and it's rly helped get me back on track w cleaning up my rough drafts and I'm so super excited abt it. I spent all day bangin out the next chapter for The Unforgivable and holy shit man, I fucking love writing for Hux's snooty ass. He's so fuckin silly and snarky and coming up with dialogue for him has me grinning from ear to ear every time, I'm so happy to be working on this story again.
