another branch of yellow rose?
oooo i can do alt yellow rose branches sure
for those of you who don't know, yellow rose has a few alternate endings or setups using the same general characters. so there's classic yellow rose, "true villain" yellow rose where Martyn is a villain from the start, a villain swap where Ren is a villain instead... lots of em, not including alternate endings to classic or the. what're we at now. i think 3 new unnamed branches, one which we dont even have any writing for
this one is from uh. villain swap. bc it required the least explanation (but still much). ren's a villain called frostbite, who works for doc (of martyrs vtuber lore, not m77). doc is posing as a hero, secretly growing his fame by being in control of the city's most powerful villain, up until Ren breaks "off script" in front of Doc and Rose (Martyn, his sidekick)
“What?” Doc asks. He sounds more upset than Martyn thought he’d be—almost upset as he had been the day before. “Say that again?”
“Frostbite said he’d been working with someone,” Martyn says, “For someone. He’s been following orders.”
“When— how long ago did you talk to Frostbite?” Doc asks, “Was this during our fight? How come you didn’t tell me?”
“I spoke to him after, uh— I used my emergency teleportation vial to look for him once I got home. You seemed upset, so…” Martyn trails off, barely thinking about what he’s saying. He’s lying to Doc now? Why is he lying for Frostbite’s sake? Frost’s going to love hearing this later, Martyn’s sure. “I found him, talked to him for a bit. I was trying to stall until his teleportation ran out, but I guess he knew what I was doing, because he didn’t stick around, especially after he accidentally let slip he’d been following orders.”
“What do you mean, accidentally let slip? What did he say?” Doc asks, “Walk me through the whole conversation.”
“I found him trying to tend to his wounds. They— they weren’t as serious as they’d looked, thankfully, so he should recover fine. Plus I walked him through how to bandage them right,” Martyn says, lying again, “I was trying to get him to talk to me, you know, make him comfortable.”
“Sure,” Doc says, voice flat. His eyes are narrowed, though if he’s unhappy with any part of this, he doesn’t say.
“I told him he should lay off crime for a while until he recovered. He said something like, ‘now that I’m not following orders, I’m not going to commit any crime I don’t have to,’” Martyn says, “So I asked him what he meant, and he just looked…”
Scared. Panicked. Like he’d made some kind of grave mistake.
“He just teleported out. Didn’t stick around to chat,” Martyn says, “But don’t you get what this means? If Frostbite is following orders, there must be an even more dangerous person calling the shots! Maybe that’s why he stopped wearing the armor—it must be from whoever was telling him what to do! If we can find whoever that is—”
“Rose,” Doc says, calmly cutting through Martyn’s theorizing, “Are you sure he wasn’t just lying to you?”
“I… I mean, no, but—”
“Frostbite lies,” Doc says, “That is what he does. I say I know him better than anyone else. Trust me when I say you can’t believe a word he says.”
“He’s been mostly honest with me,” Martyn says, “Except, you know, the whole… you’re trying to kill him thing.”
Doc’s face does something funny at that, but he sighs.
“He’s got a convincing voice, I’ll give you that. He sounds all sad with his tail tucked between his legs,” Doc says, “But he’s a violent criminal and a vicious liar. You don’t want to become swept away in what he has to say. It’d be best not to listen at all.”
“But if he’s not. If there really is someone behind him—”
“There isn’t,” Doc says calmly.
Martyn opens his mouth to protest, but gives up. Doc smiles.
“I’ve been fighting Frostbite for years, remember. If there was a puppet master pulling his strings, don’t you think I’d have noticed by now?” Doc asks.
“I… guess so,” Martyn says. Doc nods.
“It would be tragic if we found Frostbite was being controlled by some greater evil, forcing him into crime—if that was the case, you know we’d do everything we could to help him,” Doc says, “But he’s lying to you. I’m sure of it.”
“Okay,” Martyn says, “Yeah, you’re right. He just… he seemed so scared.”
“A trick, I promise you,” Doc says, “But if you’re falling for all his traps… Rose, do you remember what I said about staying away from Frostbite?”
“…You said I shouldn’t confront him at all,” Martyn says.
“That’s right,” Doc agrees, “I appreciate you taking the initiative to make up for upsetting me, but I don’t need you to do that for me.”
“I really think it’s worth talking to him, though. I think he trusts me. I could learn more about—”
“Rose,” Doc cuts him off, and it sounds far more like a warning. “I told you the day he snapped. He’s far too dangerous, and not just because of his powers. Don’t trust him. Don’t let him get close enough to burn you or to fill your head with lies. Understand?”
For a long moment, Martyn just stares. Doc frowns.
“Rose,” he says, “I’m just trying to keep you safe. If you can’t listen to me, then I’ll bench you. Do you understand?”
“I understand,” Martyn says finally. Doc smiles again, all the tension gone.
“Good. Don’t interact with Frostbite when I’m not present. It isn’t safe,” Doc says, “But thank you for looking for him. It’s a shame you couldn’t catch him.”
“It really is,” Martyn says, though he’s already tuning Doc out. Frost was lying to him? Sure, it makes sense, and Martyn already suspected it. He should just write that comment off, accept it for the lie it is, but…
If there was nothing to it, why did he look so afraid? Why is he suddenly acting so erratically? Why abandon his armor? Is it really a lie? Or has he uncovered something even Doc doesn’t know about?
Just what is going on with Frostbite?
#lew writes#i dunno if id tag this yellow rose its pretty much the opposite#would this be purple rose? lmao

How do I give my anime designs more character? I don’t want them to look bland, especially not the girls!
I had a whole different argument here and suddenly realised I was answering a question you didn't ask. I'm sick at the moment so my brain isn't working the best so forgive me if my answers seems a bit all over the place.
Most importantly, and something i think a LOT of modern anime does badly these days, is to not be afraid to PUSH the expressions of your anime girls.
if you'll forgive the mini-rant; modern anime has a really bad habit of not allowing female characters to have "ugly" expressions. Or when they do, they make them simplified emojis or make the one second of extreme emotion SO extreme it becomes completely off putting. Especially as there will be a tendency to only push an extreme expression in one single episode during a "dramatic scene".
This results in most girls in modern anime looking more like the limited expression range of a Vtuber than actual characters. There ARE exceptions, but this is a MASSIVE issue which was not the case in the 80s or 90s and only really started becoming more common around the mid 2000s.
Comparison examples! (you know I love those). I am using still images instead of gifs so the animation doesn't mask the drawing. But I'll show some animated gifs later in this ask
This extends beyond just facial expressions tho. Or rather... it doesn't.
Most modern anime shows will have the characters pull expressions in their face, but have their bodies relatively static, even in extreme emotions. If you compare the two screenshots above, the more modern example has a more extreme push to her eyes, but in the Dirty pair screenshot, not only is Kei's mouth open very wide, but her head is tilted backwards and to the side, her shoulders are drawn up, and she gives the impression even in a still image that she is in the middle of a physical reaction to something which annoyed her. Similarly, Yuri down there is also annoyed, and even though we only really see her eyes, you can tell she's hunched over and seething. In the modern anime screenshot she's just.... got the default "these are my angry eyes!" face with nothing really happening elsewhere.
Her shoulders I guess are kind of drawn up but so barely you wouldn't be blamed to think they always look like that.
And this comes to the second point.
DRAW FROM LIFE AND/OR PHOTOS.
There is NOTHING wrong using a pose doll to figure out a challenging pose. I have used pose dolls when I am unsure how a certain pose looks from a specific angle. But looking at real life, whether photos or if you can, life drawing, will be your biggest tool in figuring out how to breathe more life into your poses and art.
Now, to answer the ACTUAL question you asked about design;
I have to admit that character design is not a strength of mine. I have little to no practice with it myself and when I design OCs I end up not liking them or not enjoying their designs. I feel someone far more skilled at the design part of design might have better input, but I can tell you what I know just from observation;
The first BIG advice is; do not confuse interesting design with clutter.
This doesn't mean strip down your character design to look like a Y/N drawing, but more have every element you introduce into your design be there with some kind of thought in mind as to how it applies to the character and who they are as a person. This is a mistake I often see made with characters both OCs as well as professionally. Where character designers seem to think adding MORE to a design will make a character more interesting to look at. (PreCure has this problem a LOT)
Giving your character too many details without some kind of larger unification or idea, makes them harder to envision for people, because there's too much visual noise.
If I tell you to think of Link from Legend of Zelda, it doesn't matter WHICH Link you picture 9although at the moment it's most likely TotK or BotW Link), Link has unified design elements which means regardless of how detailed or cluttered his outfit becomes, we all know what Link looks like;
1: Blonde hair on the longer side usually, with fringe and side bangs 2: blue diamond shaped eyes, pointed ears, light skin 3: wears some variation of green. Can dress in other colours but Green is an identifying colour. Even in ToTK and BotW where he is most often shown in blue, Green is still the vast majority of the outfits and gear he will wear 4: boots and light coloured tights/pants 5: Twink
You don't need to look at a picture of Link to know this is what Link looks like. Other details like his earring, belts, gloves, bracers, undershirt etc are all there and enhance these elements and distinguish one Link from another exist, but they are not the unifying elements to Link's character design.
On top of this, all of Link's character design make SENSE for his character, what he does, where he comes from etc.
He is a Hylian so he has pointed ears and is generally elf-like in appearance. He spends most of his time in European forests so he dresses in green. When he wears other colours it usually corresponds to where he is currently traveling. He carries a sword and shield so he has a belt with scabbard. He carries an entire pantry worth of food with him, so he has various satchels and bags on his person (but not too many or the design becomes cluttered). He wears light protective gear to show he gets into fights but they are usually not heavy in nature because Link is nimble and relies heavily on movement.
This doesn't tell us anything about his personality because Link doesn't really have one, but it's a very strong character design all the same and informs us what kind of character he is and what sort of life he leads as well as what sort of background he might have (He is a skilled adventurer. Not a rich sheltered boy who has never been outside of a city before or something of the like).
Now I'm gonna compare him to the character design of a Mass Effect character which I don't THINK you'd have played since your profile says you're a teen and the game is rated M 👀 (or you might have, idk I'm not your mom) but ANYWAY! Looking at a character design which tells us about their PERSONALITY as well as way of living.
I'm not going to use any of the aliens as examples because then you have to bring in the subject of alien species into the equation and how they stand apart from the various other members of their species and etc etc. So we'll talk about a human character.
So... this is Jack
Although you may think her tattoos make her design cluttered, they don't because you don't really need to know what every individual tattoo looks like. You just know "Jack is covered in Tattoos".
So just looking at her, you can pretty much instantly pin down her personality. That being; she will most likely fucking stab you if you say one thing to annoy her.
She's like a punk on steroids. Shaved head, heavy make up, COVERED in tattoos, both ears capped in some futuristic piercings, some or other heavy duty uniform except she decided she'd rather walk around fucking topless and boots that could crush a man's skull.
Everything about her design screams "don't fuck with me I am VERY unhinged and will kill a man for less than the $4 in his pocket".
Jacks' entire personality is on display in her design. And the design as a whole present a single concept of who she is as a person, while ALSO tying into her backstory and lifestyle. (escaped prisoner from high security facility, still wearing the prison uniform, has been in an unknown number of gangs, has an extremely casual approach to sex and sexuality, uses her intimidation as a first line of defense to prevent people from getting close to her indicating a painful past)
And then you compare her to her design in the following game
This is a great design because it not only informs you on Jack's personality, but also her GROWTH AS A CHARACTER.
Her design is, at least compared to her first appearance, softer. She's grown her hair long enough to tie it into a ponytail, making her appear more feminine. But she still shaves the sides so you know she can still shank you if she wants.
Her outfit is still VERY revealing but she's also dressed borderline decently. She is not as defensive any more and could probably even walk around in normal society without getting a ticket (and then shooting the cop in response).
However even covered up, she's wearing a leather studded jacket, and she is still displaying her tattoos on her chest and hands proudly. She's still the same person... just less likely to murder you (although the option is still there if needed).
Now compare these character designs to some others which I would count as being "too busy" and tell me if these designs tell you ANYTHING about what kind of personalities these characters might have, what kind of lifestyle to they live, what do their environments and world looks like, or what it says about them
Fun fact; that last one is NOT a magical girl, but is in fact an alchemist who is living in a slowly dying world whose resources are being depleted and the future looks grim and hopeless as humanity tries to navigate this slow apocalypse.
I have no idea if any of that made sense or is useful in any way, but hopefully you get what I mean?
Look at real life. Don't rely on just referencing other anime and pose dolls. Don't clutter a character design with details that don't mean anything. make the parts of your character design you use have meaning or purpose. Even if that purpose is just "to give them a silhouette different to the other characters so she's easy to identify by sight"

Hello! Am sending a questions about your Ascendence of a Bookworm x Resturant to Another World AU.
Which was you favorite part to write so far?
Has anyone traded goods such as plants or meats from Yurgenschmidt (hope I remember how to spell that) to Nekoya yet?
How well known is the restaurant among the merchants and commoners of Yurgen?
I find it fascinating to think of what the restaurant can make with the plants and meats found in each duchy that cannot be found on Earth.
I like how you managed to show the differences of culture, what the nobles expect to experience vs their real customer service experience, and the way the people who become regulars adapt to it in their own way.
I especially like how you’ve incorporated the regular order nicknames to each person. Once I remember who is who, it’s interesting to think of how the scenarios will play out with those present.
How did you come up for the favorite meals of other characters and do you have a list of them?
Thank you for making this wonderful story. I never thought this crossover would happen but now that it did, it is amazing! Hope you have a great day!
Screams~~!!
I wasn't really expecting an ask but I'm so happy I got one~~!!
Ok so from top to bottom:
My favourite part has to be writing about the Nobles meeting Mestionora, there just this delicious sort of (idk what to call it, karma maybe?) Thing in the air where Nobles are getting treated the same way most of them would treat the commoners you know what I mean, if face of a metaphysical cosmic entity they are *nothing* and the realization of that feels like such a juicy thing to write.
Yes, Mako and his fellow chef Leo are always trying to find ways to incorporate local food from Yurgenschmidt and the other world into their resrurant menu, Rozemyne traded a few fruits and veggies for cacao and coffee beans in the beginning when Alexandria's country gate wasnt connected to the land of sand. Now Rozemyne only imports cacao and about a kilogram or natto every week.
It's a bit of an Urban legend amongst merchants, especially travelling merchants, some don't belive it, others swear they saw it, benno makes a lot of money from all the new exotic foods Rozemyne brings with her to Alexandria and traveling merchants (atleast, the ones who found it) make it a point to find and label all (or as many) Nekoya doors they can find on their way (because food is essential to traveling merchants and their families) tho it's mostly not mentioned in the story itself cuz its a bit irrelevant to the plot (aka: I can't figure out a way to incorporate it without sounding forced it)
Aww thank you~~ ya I'd also love to see what the chefs could come up with using Yurgen meats and veggies.
I haven't made a list of them. Also I put a bit of thought into the names because that's the least amount of effort I could atleast put into the characters, example:-
Shuu - he's a Vtuber, meaning many sleepless nights, meaning he needs a lot of energy boosts to go about his day such as caffeine, so I chose melon soda because melon soda seems to be pretty popular in Japan.
😭😭😭 I am legit sobbing~~!! Thank you very much!! And have a great day as well!

💫What is your favourite fact about this character and why?
☄️ Does this OC deserve better treatment from you? Do you make them suffer just a little bit too much? Be nice to them!
💫
Azzy is an oc i have yet to introduce but I'll share a few fun facts that are great anyway. Azzy is my touchstarved mc, but i ended up loving them so much that they basically have two forms? like alternate universe versions? one is my Vtuber png avatar! his name is Daimhin (Dai-veen bc celtic pronunciation is wild) (if you're ever wondering what my twitch is, its DaimhinAzzy)
the difference between Azzy and Dai is all in how they escaped the cult they were part of (and eventually their hairstyles will be different bc im updating Dai's look). Azzy escaped unharmed under the protection of some unnamed force. Daimhin did not escape unharmed. To put it as lightly as possible, bro took a crossbow bolt to the throat and was turned into a demon by Azazel to serve him, thus becoming some sort of deer demon.
☄️
.... i am very cruel to both Daimhin and Azzy in terms of lore. I could be easier on both but thats no fun!!
I think i am much more cruel to Daimhin though... obviously. i mean, he's already canonically died once and ive barely introduced him, even on twitch! I do plan on writing out lore and possibly making a lore video one of these days for him.
Despite how hard I am on Dai, I love him because i find freedom in being mischievous and chaotic through him. I will not be nicer to them though. even though he deserves better. He is my morally grey little bastard baby
#i do really need to introduce Azzy but idk what holding me back#i think im just unhappy with their outfit design#but i might just say screw it and give myself an hour to fix what i can and figure it out later#BC IM DYING TO MAKE TOUCHSTARVED FANART#eggy answers#touchstarved mc#touchstarved game

you know how sheltered LyriLily girls are right? to the point they know almost NOTHING about modern technology. anyway, my theory is that Aira used to get everything he wanted cus he's the "heir" of the family (if we're talking of prestigious Asian families, the first male child is always the heir. in my hc here Kurumi is a year older than Aira cus she's a second year rn while Aira is still first year).
meanwhile, the Shiratori family thought they must raise Kurumi like a "proper lady to be married to a prestigious family in future." so Arisugawa and being sheltered from EVERYTHING. so my hypothesis is that earlier Aira and Kurumi didn't really get along well. it was more like two strangers living in the same house.
however, once LyriLily came into place and D4FES happened, Aira became a HUGE LyriLily fan. the biggest fan of LyriLily and the biggest fan of Kurumi Shiratori, his older sister. After D4FES, Aira and Kurumi became very good friends. they were finally allowed to mingle more due to Kurumi's DJ activites.
Aira isn't really a fan of DJ music in general, but he loves LyriLily!!! because their music is so "rabui~". he went CRAZY when the Hololive collab happened!! HIS SISTER COLLABORATED WITH HOLOLIVE VTUBERS!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW BIG THAT IS??? Kurumi doesn't get Aira's hype but she's SO glad she finally has someone in family to share all of this.
still, somewhere down, Aira can't help but feel sad that while his sister made it big, he's still staying at his home doing nothing but fangirling over his idols all day.....
but when Aira becomes a part of ES? HE'S SO NOT NORMAL. HE FINALLY GETS TO BECOME WHAT HE HAS IDOLISED FOR SO LONG.
now, due to the hectic schedule of being an idol/being in a DJ unit, they sadly don't get much time to spend together. but! as i mentioned Aira abuses idol powers! alongside visiting ES, they often go around the town together. and Aira is flabbergasted by how little Kurumi knows of the city. "how did we grow up in the same house" is what he thinks. well, rich prestigious Asian households bias ig Aira </3
anyway, i like to imagine that sometimes Kurumi sneaks off from her servants unwatched and. unknowingly stumbles upon HiiKohaAi on a date together in a cafe. and when Aira spots her he SCREAMS. now i like to imagine Kurumi doesn't really know the difference between platonic love and romantic love (not hcing her as aro, more like she just doesn't label or categorise love). so she doesn't really get why the scream. like to her they are friends (romantic) hanging out together. even if KohaAi are holding hands and Hiiro kissed Aira on the cheek the moment Aira noticed Kurumi's existence. and Aira dies of embarassment while Hiiro agrees with her and Kohaku simply. chooses to ignore the conversation.
Aira talks of something about city/idol culture and both Hiiro and Kurumi go "huh what's that" and Aira goes (flabbergasted but affectionately) "how come both of you are so clueless about this? also Neechan we grew up in the same house how sheltered were you that you don't know this." Aira simply cannot come to terms with how different they grew up. (also, Kurumi was originally Onee-sama to him. because of their family. after D4FES Aira took to calling her Neechan when they were alone or amongst friends)
Mayoi is SCARED AS FUCK of Kurumi, no matter how much Aira reassures him that she doesn't mean harm. he does NOT like being pranked and probably hides in vents whenever he hears ANYTHING indicating Kurumi's presence. Tatsumi ADORES Kurumi and the rest of the LyriLily girls. they have Bible studies together (though Kurumi and Miiko don't really pay attention HAHA). also, their pranks, to their dismay, don't faze Tatsumi. who laughs at them and sees them as nothing but "youthful innocence".
Miiko is INTRIGUED by Mayoi. The Phantom. Whenever she visits ES courtesy of Kurumi she's on the lookout to catch Mayoi. she probably knows a third of ES's hiding spots by now by sheer force. The horrors don't scare her, they attract her. Mayoi's hiding spots are dwindling. he is terrified.
Haruna, to put it simply, not a fan of Alkaloid except Tatsumi. she respects him as a proper gentleman. until one day her personal driver fails to pick her up due to illness and Tatsumi volunteers to drive her home. she doesn't come near Tatsumi for the next three weeks.
but Miyu and Miiko LOVE Tatsumi's driving? ESPECIALLY MIYU?? in general, Miyu is fond of ALL of Alkaloid. they're completely different from the people she's usually around. in fact the entire world of ES is so fascinating and new to her. everytime she visits ES it's like a child visiting an amusement park for the first time. also, she loves Alkaloid and their history. it's so inspiring to her. she cannot get enough of this world so different from the Arisugawa atmosphere....
anyway this turned out too long. i think I'm done for now. i literally made up an entire world where Kurumi and Aira are siblings and LyriLily and Alkaloid are friends LMFAOAOA. but hope you enjoyed it! if you've read this far anyway lol
OH MY GOD. I DID READ THAT FAR I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!! /P AUAUAUAUAOAOAGHAGHAVHSBJBAJNAKN FAV FAV EVER. THIS IS SO SO COOL WHAR IF I CRIED RN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I'm not gonna lie, I sort of despised my time as a Vtuber on twitter because of how much drama seemingly springs up out of nowhere. I mean people would literally become hypocrites in a matter of a week if it made them look like the good guy of the day. I couldn't stand the constant "one upping" that would happen and it made me feel sick, like literally anxiety stricken sick to interact with people since a major of the time if you didn't have a big following people would throw you under the bus just to go posting about how righteous and woke they were. I still remember people straight up telling me in a private call "I just see you as a man, I don't believe non-binary people exist" and then no joke, a week later posting "I go by She/They now and you have to respect my pronouns" which I'd love to say "people change, maybe they grew and learned about themselves" about except for the fact this post was made following this big social debate about pronouns which I only know about because 3 people who stopped talking to me, and basically said I was "bad for their brand" decided to say how I was "their friend" and how great they were to be friends with an NB to the point of calling out people mid-stream in the most dramatic ways during collabs because "IT'S THEY NOT HE!" When I openly stated that it's really embarrassing to have people do that, and to please just trust that if I have a problem with the way someone is addressing me I'll say something myself; when you go through this for the better part of a whole year (almost a year and a half since I was part of the community prior to having an avatar and the whole vtubing set up) it begins to take all the fun out of being a streamer.
I'm a Vtuber because I love the concept behind being represented by a character that can look however I want to look instead of being called out or judged for the way my hair looks or if I dress in a way someone doesn't like, I've always said that those comments are pointless since I'm here to stream a game and entertain an audience; my appearance should never be the main focus and I got tired of being on webcam because of how often people would point out something about me even when it was meant as a compliment. That being said you can imagine how absolutely infuriating it is to be told by someone who's " a successful and popular vtuber " because they have 1k+ twitter followers (and 2 active viewers, one of whom is me, and one who is them...) that I'm not good enough to be their friend or even talk to them or collab with them until I "get my numbers up" and "figure out my brand" I'm an entertainer, I love to create! I gave up on vtuber teams, I gave up on collabing with people, I gave up on even streaming for a long time.
But the more I interact with people on tumblr the more I remember why I love vtubing, as a character designer it's so much fun to see the characters people make and stream with. It's like this huge game of improv D&D and even people like myself who don't really play up a character or have any lore or such, can still really enjoy just sharing our characters with others and having some brainrot over our favorite games. You know, all the stuff I loved about vtubing and streaming and being creative. It really makes me want to reach out to more vtubers here on tumblr and potentially try to make some friends; I'm shy as hell and I unfortunately have dealt with a year of basically being told "you're not cool enough to sit with us" lol but who knows, I've met some really cool people who openly accept me for who/what I am and I'd love to connect with more streamers and vtubers provided my insecurities and shy personality don't get in the way.
If you've ever wanted to be my friend, like genuinely wanted to get to know me; just pester me about shit. I promise even if it takes me 3 weeks to get back to you; it isn't a bother I'm never bothered I love getting asks, DMs, whatever. It's just fun to connect with people and get to know people.
I literally met my partner via this site and she will attest that it took like 4 years for her to get me to talk reliably, I accidentally ghosted her several times because I was too shy to talk to her even though I really wanted to be her friend, and now we live together so like; yea please by all means if you want to be my friend just like nicely harass me about shit I promise it'll pay off eventually :P

So in combination of my recent love for City of Mist, wishing to try drawing different things, and some inspiration from other games and stories, I made a bunch of Icons and Logos to represent Faction Ideas/Group Tags for City of Mist Part 2 of 2
Wardens of Tartarus A group of people who have taken over an underground vault that was once run by the Gatekeepers. This facility acts as a place to hold an contain dangerous rifts, artifacts and even seal off phenomena, with the people taking over using various skills to project this place and track down dangerous elements that escaped or need to be locked away
Ebisu Plaza This is a Plaza and shopping center containing many stores. This place attracts many rifts either as customers, employees or business owners. This has caused them to become attuned to the other realms of existence including the dream realm, dead realm, mirror realm and divine realm, with this they are able to enter areas where they blend together, giving them the greatest scope of the city compared to anyone and using this to solve various mysteries that come to them

okay the new anime season is already in full swing, so I gotta get my thoughts out on the last season. because I have once again watched Way Too Much Anime.
same as before, we chose what to watch mostly based on which PV trailers looked interesting before the season aired. now I'm gonna yap about all 17 shows for way too long.
✨obligatory disclaimer that this is Just My Opinion, Man. if I say something mean about your favorite show, please don't take it personally!
everything we watched, in alphabetical order: Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, Bye Bye Earth, Dahlia in Bloom, The Elusive Samurai, Isekai Suicide Squad, Magical Girl and Evil Lieutenant Used to be Enemies, Mayonaka Punch, Oshi no Ko S2, Quality Assurance in Another World, Senpai is an Otokonoko, Shikanoko, Shoushimin, Tasuuketsu, Too Many Losing Heroines, Tower of God S2, VTuber Legend, Wistoria: Wand and Sword
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian - 1 episode, dropped funny that this one is first alphabetically, cuz I only watched one ep with a group of friends, mostly just to clown on it. I swear there's at least six anime exactly like this one every season: hot girl randomly takes an interest in the most boring man on the planet. Boring Guy is Boring. there's probably a weird little sister involved. but the girl is Russian in this one, because that's easier to write than actually giving anyone a personality. fucking snore dude
Bye Bye, Earth - 8 episodes, dropped this show is… weird. the worldbuilding feels incredibly dense, but also not very well explained. it felt like they were introducing new concepts and Proper Nouns every other sentence. I fully believe that this all makes sense to the original creator -- like I'm sure they have a 400 page Lore Bible with all the deep rules of their world, because it all feels very intricate. unfortunately I don't have that lore bible, so I found it really hard to follow.
that said, I think I like it? kinda? the animation style is kinda ugly, but for the most part I like the character designs. I think it's great to see a female lead in a show like this, and I really like what I've seen of the MC and her motivations. there's some really interesting fantasy ideas -- like the way people "grow" their weapons as an extension of themselves, MC's curse that her sword can't cut living things, this society that revolves so heavily around music -- but all of it together just becomes a confusing jumble.
it's not bad, but not good enough for me to finish this season :/
Dahlia in Bloom - 6 episodes, on hold this is honestly one of the more refreshing romance anime I've seen in a long time. It's a little slow moving and not very action-packed, but I love how well Dahlia is established as Her Own Person before the main love interest is even introduced. My girl has a career! hobbies! a friend group that stands by her while she goes through a messy break-up! it's so easy to root for her, and early episodes of this anime truly had me screaming "GIRLLLLL DUMP HIM YOU CAN DO BETTERRRRR" at my TV (in a good way)
and her main romantic interest is really good too! he has a personality beyond just being a perfect hot romance boy! the two of them have great chemistry! they act like adults and have a believable slow-burn starting as friends! idk it's kind of wild how realistic the romance in this show feels, despite being set in a fantasy world.
unfortunately this show did get put on the back-burner while we were watching a bunch of other things, but I'd really like to return to it sometime. I wanna see Dahlia thrive in her career and personal life!
The Elusive Samurai - 7 episodes, dropped okay, guys. you guys. listen. I really wanted to like this show, okay. I watched the previews and was like holy shit, CloverWorks has done it again. if this is as good as Wind Breaker, maybe I can finally forgive them for what happened to Promised Neverland. I saw the clips on twitter from episode 1 and thought this could be the big standout of the season.
but, uh. it's not. at least, not for me.
the tone of this show is extremely inconsistent. it flips wildly between wacky gag-manga comedy, and dead fucking serious horrors-of-war. sometimes multiple times in the same episode! add that to the break-neck pacing (in the first few episodes especially) and it left me with emotional whiplash. like, okay -- the more dramatic, gritty grimdark stuff I rather enjoy. the scene where the villain obliterates a whole battalion single-handedly, and then gets swarmed by adoring fans while the one survivor tries in vain to tell them what a monster he is -- that shit gave me chills. it's some incredible visual storytelling. but then the show inevitably cuts back to the weirdo priest doing some weirdo shit with the kids and I'm annoyed again. eventually I just got tired of it.
absolutely banger OP and ED though. probably my favorite ED of the season, and second-favorite OP.
Isekai Suicide Squad - 5 episodes, dropped boy, this one sure does do what it says on the tin. this sure is an anime about Suicide Squad -- yes, the DC comic book characters -- getting transported to another world.
honestly I was really enjoying it, at first. it's not doing anything particularly new, but these versions of the characters are fun and the animation was good enough to carry the story. and like, I'll say it -- anime Harley Quinn is pretty hot. I'm a lesbian with eyeballs, I can admit that.
unfortunately the animation takes a nosedive suddenly right around the point where I dropped off. the fight with the dragon is REALLY rough, like almost unwatchably bad. and when the animation is that bad, I stop to wonder what we're even doing here. they're taking a huge detour from the main plot to randomly fight a dragon, and it doesn't even look good. I don't know if the animation gets better again after that, but I decided there were better things to watch this season /shrug
pretty good OP and ED, though. I like the really stylized animation in the OP, and the ED is a decent bop.
The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies - 2 episodes, dropped this one looked cute, but mostly I wanted to take a look because it's made by Bones. and it is pretty cute, but for such a prestigious animation studio, it didn't exactly blow my tits off. after two episodes, I really felt like I'd seen most of what this anime would have to offer. the guy is "evil" but has a soft spot for one girl, the magical girl is cute, he gets flustered when she does cute stuff. it's fine, but nothing to write home about.
the episodes are real short though -- about half as long as an average anime episode -- so it's not a huge time sink. who knows, I might pick it up again sometime if I want something fluffy.
Mayonaka Punch - 12 episodes, completed alright, now THIS show is the absolute underrated gem of this season. it's fun, it's funny, and it's even a little bit gay! the cast are the best kind of likeable assholes, and they had me laughing out loud multiple times an episode. the more emotional/dramatic parts are pretty well done in my opinion too. particularly the way the show depicts Masaki being haunted by nasty comments online feels very "real", without being too much of a huge bummer.
genuinely, Mayonaka Punch is just a great time. I never felt bored watching this, and I'd gladly watch another season if PA Works decide to continue the story! but even if they don't, I think this has a pretty satisfying conclusion. it's nice to enjoy a good 12 episodes that wraps itself up neatly at the end.
also my absolute FAVORITE OP of the season. I'm a sucker for OPs that are sung by the cast, it's super catchy, and the animation is great. all the references to actual viral videos and trends are funny without feeling forced or cringe -- jumping on viral video trends is what the whole show is about, after all!
Quality Assurance in Another World - 3 episodes, dropped man, I honestly don't have much to say about this show. the broad concept is kinda interesting (QA testers working on a full-dive VR game get trapped in the world of the game SAO-style) and the art style is kinda unique. it just didn't really hold my attention, unfortunately. my wife watched a few episodes past the point where I stopped and she said it kinda popped off a little later but ehhh. someone might really enjoy this one, but it's just not for me.
Senpai is an Otokonoko - 7 episodes, on hold so this anime was made for my wife specifically. she's read the whole comic (I think it's a webtoon?) and adores it, so she was beyond hyped for the anime adaptation. and it's honestly really well done! I think the way it uses chibi characters for comedy (and to save on animation lol) is really cute. the characters and drama are pretty well written, and I really like that the two "rivals" in the love triangle are actually friends with each other.
the only thing is that parts of the story/drama are kiiiind of heavy. my wife is a trans woman and relates very strongly to the main character, so it's a hard watch for her sometimes. even though she's read the comic and knows what happens, she's said she really needs to be in the right headspace to watch this one. there's nothing egregiously bad though, omg -- the worst I've seen so far is the MC's mom being really transphobic and them trying to go back into the closet because of it 😬 so definitely a trigger warning for that
but yeah, really like this one, we're just watching it pretty slowly so I haven't finished it yet.
Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan (My Deer Friend Nokotan) - 2 episodes, dropped hoooo boy. the big meme show of the season. I feel like anyone who follows seasonal anime has probably heard of this one, at least. I saw the OP going around a lot, and I'll admit, it's an earworm.
maybe this is a controversial opinion, but ya'll, I did not care for the actual show at all. I went into it with pretty high hopes, granted, since people were hyping up how funny the manga is. In two episodes I think I actually laughed maaaaybe once? I dunno, the hyper-realistic CGI deer are pretty good the first few times you see them, but boy does the gag get old fast. even the scene where deer-girl busts through the wall of the classroom only got a little snort out of me. and then that joke completely overstays its welcome by going on for like two full minutes of gratuitous slow-mo.
really all I can say is: not funny, didn't laugh! Mayonaka Punch is way more fun, watch that instead.
Shoushimin - 6 episodes, on hold first of all, this anime is fucking gorgeous. truly every frame a painting. I've seen people talk about "cinematic" anime this season, and Shoushimin really embodies that. the characters, the environments, the framing, the lighting, ugh. I wish I could eat all of the lovingly-rendered pastries in this show.
animation aside, this is a veeeeery slow-paced kind of slice-of-life. it's all about small, mundane mysteries, so I can definitely see people finding it boring. my wife decided after about 4 episodes that she just doesn't have the attention span for this. I mostly like it though; it makes me think of a more chill version of the fake manga the MCs write in Bakuman. that said, I need to be in the right mood for something this slow, so I've been watching it on and off.
also shoutout to the OP because I am an Eve fan first and a person second
Tasuuketsu: Fate of the Majority - 2 episodes, dropped I would have completely forgotten about this show, if crunchyroll didn't keep trying to get us to watch the next episode. it's an extremely generic death-game show with pretty stupid rules imo. frankly I would have dropped it after one ep, but there's a cliffhanger at the end of ep 1 that was intriguing enough to convince me to watch a second. they completely undo that cliffhanger in episode 2 though. boooo 👎
best thing I can say about this show is that there's a plot-relevant kick to the balls. no I will not elaborate on that.
Too Many Losing Heroines - 12 episodes, completed man, okay. so from the PVs before the season started, I thought this one was an easy skip. I don't care for harem shows, and this looked like just another boring light-novel romance. no amount of pretty "cinematic" animation was going to get me interested in flat, annoying characters that I've seen a hundred times. we were literally late to start watching it, and only picked it up toward the end of the season because people would not stop talking about it.
so take into account that I am very biased against this entire genre when I look you dead in the eye and tell you: this show is kind of incredible? like don't get me wrong, it's not exactly re-inventing the wheel here, and there's some fanservice moments that made me roll my eyes. but overall, this has some of the best character writing and drama out of everything we watched this season. the girls are genuinely a lot of fun, and their friendships are very believable. even the stuttering shy girl, which is usually an archetype I find super annoying, managed to win me over in the end.
the male MC is probably the weakest part of the show to me, but he still has more going for him than most guys in this genre. I like that his story is more concerned with him learning to be platonic friends with people, rather than just trying to push him into romance with all the girls. even if he ends up with one of the girls in the end (probably the blue-haired one), I appreciate him building a real friendship first.
and I gotta mention the EDs, because each of the main girls gets their own dedicated ED song and they're all beautifully animated. the OP is pretty fun too.
Tower of God Season 2 (part 1?) - 13 episodes, completed I'm honestly pretty torn on this one. once again my wife has read this whole webtoon, so she would have more thoughts about this in terms of adaptation, but I'm anime only. I really liked season 1, even though I found some of the worldbuilding hard to follow, so I was looking forward to this.
and man… I'm so disappointed in the animation for this season. The art style in S1 was one of my favorite things about it, so seeing them drop that in favor of a much more generic modern anime style was a huge bummer. If it was done so they could go all-out on the action more easily that would be one thing, but all of that is pretty lack-luster too, and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
as for the story, maybe I just don't remember S1 well enough, but I was pretty fucking lost sometimes. this is another story with mountains of worldbuilding, and I'm sure some fans of the webtoon could go on for hours about the lore. unfortunately that's not me! maybe I'd have a better time if I re-watched S1. even so, I did like most of the new characters, and seeing the returning ones when they showed up.
I dunno. 6/10 overall, not enough Khun. excited to see Khun more in the next cour.
VTuber Legend: (extremely long LN title) - 12 episodes, completed I cannot believe my wife made me watch this whole thing. I can't believe I actually sat through every episode. this show is some peak brainrot, but that's not always a bad thing?
don't get me wrong, I like vtubers just fine! I follow a couple of english-language ones that I like, though I'm not deep into the ~fandom~, as it were. I have no idea how accurate this show is for Japanese vtubers, but boy are these characters weird and horny. sometimes they're funny, sometimes they're unbearably cringe. though that probably doesn't come as much of a surprise, given the premise. who knows, if you like vtubers and bizarre fetish content, you might like this one.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword - 12 episodes, completed this show wound up being a kind of sleeper hit this season. I remember basically no one talking about it before it started airing. it must have had some crazy word-of-mouth recommendations though, because it shot up into the top five seasonal shows on MAL at some point. I started watching from episode one just because the PV trailers looked dope, and I was not disappointed!
in terms of story, again, there isn't anything we haven't seen before. magic high school, kid who can't use magic and gets bullied, but he's really good at sword fighting so he kills lots of scary monsters. but here's the thing, guys -- he looks fucking incredible while he's doing it. this show is completely carried by its slick animation and art style. it's just an absolute treat to watch, and I wish I could eat the colors and intense shadows at work here.
it's already confirmed for a second season, too. my wife liked S1 enough to read ahead in the manga, and she said it only gets better, so I'm definitely looking forward to that.
Honorable mention:
Oshi no Ko: Season 2 - 1 episode, on hold okay this is embarrassing but IN MY DEFENSE! I'm caught up on the manga! 😭 so I already know what this season is about!!! we just decided to wait until the whole season aired so we could binge it, and haven't gotten around to it yet. also it's annoying to watch, since I don't want to pay for fucking HIDIVE, so we have to watch it……. elsewhere.
but like I'm sure it's good. this is easily my favorite arc in the manga, so if the anime kept up the quality from season 1, I'm gonna have a great time. when we get around to it 🙃
#once again not tagging every anime bcuz I'll go insane#for fall 2024 I have TWENTY-TWO anime added to my list 😭#several of those I'm probs gonna watch when they're finished with another friend#but also jesus christ lmao#long post#ramblings#peo watches too much anime

Streamer Mona Headcanons
I said I'd do some more streamer headcanons soon so here's Mona! I thought some headcanons were a good way to get back into writing after my short break ^^ Mona also marks the first female Genshin character I've written for so that's pretty cool!
Content: Starts with general headcanons, later some relationship headcanons (separated with a divider)
Cute egirl vibe all around
Definitely becomes a vtuber once she can afford to commission someone for a model
She'd have a kinda space-themed model and probably some lore in relation to that too
Originally started streaming cuz it seemed like a relatively easy way to make money -- Just play a few games and talk to people, right?
Eventually realizes that there’s far more work behind it than she would’ve thought, but by that point she actually enjoys it so much that she just sticks with it regardless
Started out with trashy equipment since she couldn’t afford anything better, but people just vibed with her and stuck with it despite the somewhat low quality of her earlier streams
Sometimes does small intermissions where she just talks about astrology, how to read a birth chart, what it all means, etc. since that’s what she loves and she likes sharing it with people
Also just enjoys chatting about her life and random stuff that happened to her
Surprisingly plays a lot of horror games and is quite good at most of them
Aside from that she also likes a lot of dungeon games and maybe a few shooters every once in a while -- It's always kind of funny to watch her play those because she tends to get super pissed off but tries her hardest to stay calm and composed
Really enjoys doing collabs with other people and organizes a lot of bigger collabs between streamers herself
Takes absolutely no shit from anyone -- If someone in chat is rude, she WILL pause her game just to call them out
Probably has the cutest emotes you’ve ever seen
She was somewhat hesitant at first to tell you about her career, a bit worried that you’d think it’s silly or “not a real job” and would think less of her because of it
But to her delight, you were incredibly supportive and started watching her streams whenever possible so you could support her during her streams as well
It’s kind of adorable, really, the way you can practically hear the smile in her voice whenever she responds to a comment of yours -- Her tone getting just a little softer than it usually is
She isn’t shy about the fact that she has a significant other at all, mentioning you quite often, whenever it fits the topic (and usually ending up just gushing over you for a few minutes)
I think it can be kind of hard specifically for female streamers to just openly talk about relationships and such, but Mona never lets that stop her -- You’re an important part of her life and she doesn’t want you to feel like she’s hiding you away from anyone. She’s proud of having such an amazing significant other and wants to make sure you know that.
She takes her career quite seriously and tends to have a bit of a packed schedule, but she’ll always make sure to make enough time for you as well, always making you feel like her priority
If you promise to be really quiet, she’ll let you sit next to her and watch her stream, glancing over to you ever so often to shoot you a soft smile
More of my streamer series
Taglist: @yaeism @kaeyasstarlight @reinaphoria @xiaoslxt @the-mourning-stars @evisnotok @zorosbozo (Sorry if I tagged anyone wrong, a few people went through username changes I think so I hope I got those actually right jcjsjdj If I did accidentally tag you, feel free to let me know!)
If you'd like to join my taglist as well, you can do so here!

Official Indefinite Hiatus Post.
Hello! I think It was about time I addressed my indefinite hiatus on this blog. As some of you may have seen, I’ve already alluded to this hiatus post coming and even posting about how inactive I am. It’s almost been a decade since I made this blog back in January 2012 or 2013, I even forgot what year I started with how long I’ve had this blog ever since. I entered the RWBY Fandom when it was still releasing its trailers and now I’ve been running this Glynda Goodwitch blog for so long now. I wouldn’t say I was the OG Glynda in tumblr but I was indeed one of the first Glynda Goodwitch blogs when I created her. The whole aspect of Glynda when I first saw her was that ‘ fuck she’s amazing, I want to roleplay as her.’ It wasn’t long I found a fellow Ozpin blog, shout out to @professor-ozpin for technically being the Ozpin I’d have occasionally have banters with and have amazing roleplay threads. I’ve met so many amazing people in my time here in tumblr and it’s amazing how some of them have still kept in touch with me even as I was slowly active. I remember being active in this website every day and every night because I was having so much fun roleplaying back then when I was still a student. So many amazing threads, prompts, asks etc etc that led me to have a big following and gave me the opportunity to meet so many more people to interact with.
But alas, as time pass by, responsibilities come in, the burn outs and the shifting of interest. I found myself disappearing for a week, 3 weeks, a month, and just suddenly comeback to being active almost every day. Then be inactive again after disappearing for a month, then come back—a recurring pattern until I completely stopped. It came to the point I’ve only been posting here to post my youtube video that was related to RWBY or I’ll be completely silent.
I love RWBY but it’s come to a point the interest isn’t in at level where I’ll actively look at it like how I did before. Now I’ve been gearing into Genshin content and was even tempted into creating an AU where Glynda Goodwitch was part of it. I remember always bringing Glynda around with me and what I mean by that is that, she has subconsciously been a part of me with how much I roleplayed her. I idolized her so much that’s why I wanted to portrayer jer/ I created my own version of Glynda, her own headcanons, her own lore, her own origin story and etc. It made me happy people loved my portrayal of her and it’s what kept me going. However, the burnouts came, people were leaving, less time to interact since I started a streaming career too. It came to the point where I had to make this post now because I am now officially archiving this account OR turn it to a more personal use. However, it won’t be used for roleplay anymore as I’ve mostly moved all of it to Discord where I can easily access the threads and talk to my roleplay partner directly.
It’s been a great journey with this Glynda Goodwitch account, but now I’ve become a full fledged Vtuber on twitch at twitch.tv/keichannyan . You may reach me there if you want to watch more of my content.
My discord LadyGodfather#6982 is always open for you guys to add me, just please state who you are so I know~
I will be requeueing this post every once in a while so it can at least my mutual who may or may now see this post.
And with that, I’ll see you all around. I love you all.
Kei. Signing off.

I love (not) writing things
an AI wrote my official lore
WyndhamVossler is a Detective VTuber and Part-time Cat.
At least that was how I started. It's not like I had any other choice, really. My parents were both dead, my sister was in jail for murder, and the only thing I could think of to do with myself was become a detective.
I'd been watching videos on YouTube for years before I decided to start making them. The idea of being able to make your own show seemed so cool! And it wasn't just me who thought so; there were thousands of people out there doing it. Some of them made millions of dollars every year.
But I didn't have any money, and I couldn't afford to buy equipment or pay anyone else to help me. So I did what everyone does when they want to be a YouTuber: I went to school.
After high school, I took an associate degree in computer science from a local community college. Then I moved onto the University of California at Berkeley, where I got my bachelor's degree in computer engineering. That was almost four years ago now.
While I was studying, I made videos on my off time, mostly about video games. Those videos never gained much traction, but I didn't care. They gave me something to do while I was working toward my degree. It also helped me meet some friends who became very important to me.
VTT is the name of this friend group it consisted of Astrid, Merlin, Yume, Yereza and Hilda. We hung out all the time, and when we weren't hanging out together, we would all talk about our lives over text messages.
Eventually, one of them asked if I wanted to join a new channel that he was starting. He said that he needed someone to run social media and create graphics for his videos. I told him I'd give it a shot, and that's how I ended up doing what I'm doing today.
The first few months were rough. I had no experience in making videos, and it was hard trying to figure out how everything worked. But as I got used to it, I started enjoying myself more and more. Now I love what I do.
Most days, I work on my videos from 9 am until 6 pm. After that, I relax by taking care of my dog, Hugo. Sometimes I'll go back to sleep or play video games for a bit, then get ready for bed.
On weekends, I usually hang out with VTT. On Friday nights, we watch horror movies, which is basically the highlight of my life. Saturdays are devoted to gaming, we all play Dungeons and Dragons together. Sundays we usually spend playing board games.
Hilda and Yereza live on the east coast, and Astrid lives in the Bay Area, so we don't see each other often. When we do get together though, it's always fun. Even if I don't get to talk to them much, I still think about them all the time.
And of course, there's Hugo. He's a shih-tzu puppy, and he's adorably ugly. I can't imagine being without him. He's my best friend.
Not to mention my sister, Elaine. She lives in San Diego. And she's… complicated. One day, I hope to forgive her for the things she did. For now though, I just avoid talking about her.
My family was pretty fucked up, but I know things could've been worse. I mean, I only had to move across the country to get away from them. At least I'm safe here.
I'm making a video right now about my birthday. it's very nice and super high quality. You should watch it.
Well, that's about it for the backstory. I hope you liked it. If you did, please subscribe to me.

Looking at 315 with... probably no context?
It’s been a while... but between this episode being translated late AND having busy and chaotic week at work all was delayed to the point I’ll have to make 316 right after this (but since they dont seem to be connected lets have them in separate posts) with all that said? This is Future Worange checking 250 chapter into the future of Komi san can’t communicate cause I need the dating seratonin okay?
Although this time seems that won’t apply, only 1 way to find out
“Congratulations on graduation” as a Vtuber fan this is triggering me!!!! (JOKING... for the most part)
Oh new person? We have had moments in the past with new sidecharacters taking the spotlight for a moment so this should be interesting
Emotional crybaby? Can relate! Emotional over school graduation? ... meh
Okay I’m confused: are you trying to NOT get emotional or get SUPER emotional since this is YOUR graduation? Whichever the case interesting training sequence
So Shiki is the embodiment of
Dance party during the Principal’s speech? okaaaaay? Rapping Principal? AWFUL AS HELL ROBOT DANCE?... why wasnt MY gradution like that? xD
We see who came up with this, and I dont know her but I love her already and can already feel bad since she might be gone :c
... WHY IS KOMI GIVING THE FAREWELL SPEECH!?!?!?!?!
And more importantly... can she do it? I know nowadays she IS more talkative, but still...
I forgot your name but I know you’re not Oda... WHO ARE YOU AND WHY DO YOU LIVE IN THE PROVERBIAL 4TH WALL!?!?!?!?!?!
But they’re right, Komi said nothing yet most students had an emperor’s clothes situation where they hallucinated whatever Komi’s speech was
Oh so NOW Shiki wants to cry at the right time... but the situation has been so ridiculous she is unable to... you can’t control the die YOU CAN’T CONTROL THE CRY!
HOLY SHIT NETSUNO IS STILL ALIVE!?!?!??! Also tanner for some reason? (also her hair is still on fire wtf?)
Internal struggle but denied and Netsuno is ready to give the speech
And suddenly an armwrestling match for WHO gives the final speech... because off course I guess?
Look Shiki I get those are the wrong tears but you can’t deny this shit’s funny and should make a heck of a parting memory xD
spent the last 5 minutes trying to search a graduation song in heavy metal... sadly I fail... this is not even close but is in my head now so take it
youtube
So yeah... the ceremony was weird af and poor Shiki now is dead inside (and outside probably)
And here is were my lack of knowledge makes me miss the weight of the situation... although at face value it is interesting to see... a passing on the torch (Past Worange, remember to give this scene the weight it deserves when the time comes)
(also I think I saw it mentioned somewhere but Agari is saying goodbye to the library gorilla lady... THAT is so weird yet slightly emotional with as little as I know)
And as Shiki is leaving the scene Komi comes crossing and by mistake blocking her exit, totally a coincidence as tiny corner dude says (WHO ARE YOU!?!?!?!?) But... heh... an oldie but a goodie. Reinterpreting Komi’s existence to serve your own story...
Shiki basically used the random situation to let her feeling come forth and admit this silly school was fun and she doesnt wanna leave (I can’t relate but good for her... I guess?)
And so all he 3rd years got emotional and cheered Shiki on...
It’s a perfectly fine chapter, I’m just probably missing a bit of its weight due to the skipping but even then it was a fun chapter with shenanigans and just that right amount of lingering melancholy
ALSO as much as I’m here for the TAKO, I AM GLAD we still gonna get more unrelated to that shenanigans (which this is the first since chapter 302 so...)
See you... in a couple minutes when we go to see if White Day becomes as long as Valentine’s (also this means Komi and Tadano have been dating for almost a month WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO--
#komi san wa komyushou desu#komi san can't communicate#future worange from beyond mountain 302#chapter 315#worangetraveler-multiverseguide

Long post about the future of the channel:
Student Union will be the last game that I will be putting up on the channel before I retire from creating videos. The channel's growth for several months has frozen, meaning that the kind of content that I'm putting out there nowadays is not getting any new fans out there to become a part of the channel.
Student Union is a horror visual novel that at the very earliest will be released in April 2022, and I want to do my last ever playthrough on a game that I enjoyed a lot playing throughout the demo of.
In the past on the channel, I never looked at numbers as a source of motivation to keep me going, it was all down to ones passion & love with the content that you create. Unfortunately, these without any kind of progress means that the content that I'm leading is now having the same effect that it did beforehand, before the introduction and rise of VTubers indirectly draining all progression that myself and other smaller content creators would make, before people just look to larger content creators (without naming anyone but you could guess who) that have monopolised the audience of rpg maker games & indie game YouTube content. These two factors completely overshadows any potential growth for the channel, and I'm sure that other channels like mine who aren't large or do not want to convert into a VTuber are in a similar boat as myself.
I've been thinking about pursuing voice acting for a while now and want to see what I can also do with myself and my voice. Throughout the years I've come across so many kind & talented people in my fanbase, far more talented that I could ever be, much more willing to learn new things & be patient with what it is that you are pursuing then I could ever muster.
Whether you subscribed today, or at the beginning of the channel or anywhere in between, you have no amount of thank yous that I could give you that would describe how thankful I am for you subscribing to the channel. The livestreams recently on Wednesdays and Saturdays are a lot of fun, though I'm only ever see a huge minority of you watching (15 at the very most with a channel size of 6.2k), and even less of you in the chat. This gives me an indicator that I'm not doing something right, I'm not what you call a comedian, nor do I have the capabilities of performing a video without at some point mucking up a word because of my dyspraxia kicking in, I also don't think highly of myself.
When I see other channels grow, it makes me happy to see that what it is that they are doing is working for them. Simultaneously though, I'm jealous though as I put in a similar amount of passion & love into my work but yield little to no results. This hasn't been a thing that is incredibly recent, the covid pandemic has been a big factor in this due to the huge number of VTubers just spawned out of the blue and becoming instantly famous overnight, simply because they're following a trend and are an overly cutsie anime character. People have commented that this is only a current trend that will die down at some point, I believe that being a VTuber is becoming a new norm, or else you won't be relevant at all.
Thank you so much to each and everyone of you who have watched, liked, commented, subscribed and/or have shared my videos. Having your spare time watching my content means I have done something right, some content creators evolve from being someone you watch because of the kind of game(s) that they cover to being someone you watch because of the content creator who made that content. For the vast majority of people who subscribed I feel that it's only been the former that applies, Purgatory 2 is evident of that as it was at the time of release a really popular rpg maker esque horror game.
My thought process may change down the line, for now though, Student Union in 2022 will very likely be the very last game I cover on the channel ever, I won't delete the channel, there just won't be any new videos uploaded by me.
Thank you for reading, have an awesome day where you are! - FlareBlitzed

cactus, sage, edelweiss, palm tree
cactus ⇢ something you’re currently learning (about)?
Well, this is a couple of things, one of which you kinda know.
Been watching a lot of Technoblade. I wanted to see how things had changed in the YouTube Minecraft game, and I was hesitant to do so because of the people I used to watch. I only wish I was around when he was still with us.
Katie is teaching me about VTubers. I am gonna try to make one... well... make the concept, but not make the character base, I am not strong enough with that.
Lastly, I have been... dabbling a few years into witchcraft and shadowwork. It's a slow process, but it has helped me feel like... I am a better person, and I can still become one and stay a better person. (mental issues ftw~)
sage ⇢ what ‘medium’ of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? why do you think that is?
I enjoy all forms of art, but music? That has always been a big part of my life. Singing, jamming... it means a lot to me. Music tells stories and brings out emotions buried within you. And I think of the good times and the bad times.
edelweiss ⇢ how’d you think of your url/username? what’s it associated with to you?
So a LOOOOOONG time ago, like back in the 'before bought by YAHOO' days, with an old friend, I told them I wanted to change my name on here, don't know what my old account was called, but I wanted some help making a new name.
She asked me 3 questions- Favorite band, favorite color, favorite video game
My answers were Linkin Park, Blue, and Kingdom Hearts
So she came up with NoMoreBlueHearts- the first part, 'No More' came from the song "No More Sorrow" from the Minutes to Midnight Album.
And so nomorebluehearts became my personal url!
palm tree ⇢ do you have a fictional villain you shouldn’t like but love regardless?
This, for me, is super easy.
This is Emet Selch from Final Fantasy 14. A lot of the community like Emet, he is a wonderfully written character... And there is a lot in game that explains how he became who he is when we first meet him. We don't get that knowledge when we first meet him, but this man... this arrogant ass of a man... has seen so much shit, been through so much... without spoiling it, like... I wanna say... centuries of shit... and yet he tries to understand US before we even get a taste of understanding him...
And when he thinks we can't help him, that we are no good in his eyes, he betrays us, which no one thought it wouldn't happen, but when it did was the shock. He then shows us why he did what he did, tries to explain it to us, but we are the heroes, and we want to save the world. We understand where he comes from, and even after his passing we don't finish learning about him... He is so complex... and such an ass... and I love this man...
I mean... look at that smirk... that is the smirk of "I am better than you and I am the only one who knows it"

Hi, can I get a male Haikyuu matchup?
Personality: cold to new people but wild and weird around close friends, stubborn, determined in the things I set my mind to, independent hence I'm too afraid to ask for help, always act tough and idgaf on the outside and bottle up my feelings but actually very sensitive and cry baby and very insecure, short-tempered/hot-headed, quite tsundere but can get very very clingy, sometimes shy and awkward most of the time and cringe at myself easily even if it's just me having a music jamming session all by myself, straightforward
Mbti: ISFP-T
Good qualities: independent, enthusiastic and passionate about the things I like
Bad qualities: constantly overthinking and worrying aka my anxiety, short-tempered and get annoyed easily
Music taste: mostly rock songs like math rock, post rock and other subgenre, but still like some of the songs from other genre tho
What I look for in a partner: loyal, sweet and caring, protective/dominance (in a good way), able to accpet every part of me because I tend to change myself in a relationship if that means they will like me more
Appearance: 160cm, have a short black bob cut hair and I wear a black glasses, love wearing skirts and dresses
Things I like/hobbies: travel, play games and watch streams on twitch, vtuber, taiwan novels, clothes, overanalyse every movie I watch, listening to songs on spotify and have a jamming session but I'm shy to letting people hear me sing lmaoo
Thank you!!
I match you with Kuroo Tetsuro. 100%
We all know Kuroo is a little cocky bastard, but it goes without saying that he has had years of training with short tempered tsunderes.
He wouldn’t mind your temper at all. In fact, he would find it so amusing every time you go off at him, a laugh emerging from the very depths of his body, rocking his head back and staring you down with a grin. “Again??” He asks rhetorically, “you sure cant stay calm for a long time can you?” What a cocky bastard. Needless to say, you instantly forget what you were angry about and begin preoccupying yourself with wiping that fat smirk off of his face.
The first time you met, your cold exterior definitely didn’t put him off either. I mean, he’s been friends with Kenma for years now, and he can still barely get a proper conversation out of him. This man loves to tease. Annoy you so much to the point where you have to say something, which will definitely get your wilder side out of you. Oh, and don’t even worry about being cringe, it’s not like he’s any better.
Kuroo has also become incredibly good at reading people. It’s one of his biggest talents. You won’t even have to say or hint at anything, because he can instantly tell when something is bothering you and will always be there to help, even if you don’t ask for it. It feels so endearing, and you feel so relaxed knowing that he just knows you, letting you stay independent but always being available when you need that extra little push.
Looking after Kenma has given him a hot dominant protective pass too :p. At this point it’s second nature to him, he would always keep you close, bringing you towards him by your waist when some man looks at you on the street, sending them a glare so intimidating that anyone would be scared shitless.
You guys would probably spend most of your time at his, having mini dance parties (in which Kuroo shamelessly showcases his atrocious singing voice) or indulging yourself with playing video games with Kenma, (but kuroo is so shit at playing that Kenma is the only repeatable competitor at this point).
Hope you liked it | (• ◡•)|
