I think my favourite butch character of all time might be ruby the instigator from disco elysium

she’s a trucker, she has pictures of women all over her truck cabin, she’s accepted without question as one of the Hardie boys and they defend her no matter what, she’s smart, tommy le homme thinks she’s kind and sweet even if her appearance and reputation would say otherwise

at no point during the investigation did I ever think she was actually responsible for the murder purely because of how much she was loved and respected and I think that’s beautiful
