Stiles held both hands out. “She loves it here!”

“Probably because we treat her right,” Boyd insisted, giving him a look.

“Again, not my fault,” Stiles argued. “But I will let you berate me to your heart’s content as long as you help fix her so she doesn’t leave me stranded in the boonies.”

“This whole fucking town is the God damn boonies,” Derek said angrily. Stiles wondered if he had any other settings.

So far he’d learned confusion and anger. He hoped there was a happy setting in there somewhere.

Boyd’s gaze cut briefly to Derek, then back to Stiles. “I see you’ve met Derek.”

“Oh yeah. We are now very close friends,” Stiles said, turning to grin at the Alpha.

He didn’t look impressed. Also like he was trying to figure out which parts of Stiles were the squishiest and easiest to eat through. That was concerning, he didn’t like that.

I’m not sure what ‘dodgy’ means in this context but I guess I use the facial hair as an indicator of a certain age stage? I dunno, maybe I have a beard fetish? Jayce got his beard by accident though. I didn’t plan him to be bearded, it just happened :D

Yes, she does look a lot like Ocean but the similarity varies depending on which hair and glasses she wears.

Where is Jayce’s mother now? Is she still alive, is he still taking care of her?

Nothing has changed for Jayce’s mother. She’s still alive and he’s still taking care of her. We won’t see her in the story though. I’m not feeling like actually bringing her to the mess. She will play her role in Jayce’s downfall though.

I don’t think he will kill anyone. Jayce is tough, but I don’t think he would corrupt himself that way? I think he’s going to get caught or turn himself in :’( Or Blue Hawaii will betray him

Would he try the police… but what if they are corrupt? I can understand he won’t try it! No I’m starting to wonder how he will be free… will he kill Blue Dirt? I believe he will!!!

I doubt he would even think about going to the police. I mean he’s in the gang, he’s considered criminal. He wouldn’t risk it. It’s a great suggestion though :D

I was so happy about the pic where both already look older and to know that they will be together one day. Without that I would be far to impatient and would have to brace myself (very strong) for the incoming difficult times. Thank you for telling :)

Oh, but I’m super boring and old-fashioned. There is no other way except for them to end up together as a family :)

So Many Places so Little Time...

I have not had much time to write and catch up on this blog since it’s been crazy busy.  Because of this, I am going to combine a bunch of stops into one post. 

October 17, 2016

RI, Austin Lake Austin/River Place (AUSLA) opening.  This site was a mess.  Walked in the door and the network was down.  Turned out to be an IP conflict that I resolved in about 20 minutes with the HSIA vendor on the phone.  The next fiasco came in the form of a flood.  When we were at the opening celebration, the engineer came down to tell Tricia that her room was flooded with 2 inches of water.  All the rooms below hers were also damaged.  Not unheard of but later that night while eating my dinner, the waterline under my sink broke and flooded my fourth floor room too.  Now it’s an issue since we had guests in house.  All the waterlines had to be turned off and redone. Opening hotels is not always fun!

CY, Dallas Plano/Richardson (DALXC) Opening.  Texas Western you are killing my liver and I love it.  I was with Hope and Maricela this time and had a blast.  Ryan and Hope beat Jim and I in Euchre but it was all Hope with her damn beginners luck.  We had some great BBQ at Lockhart’s.

We even celebrated with some weinerschnitzel and beer.

FIS, Chicago Schaumburg (CHIZS) Install.  This install was a disaster.  First, the meeting room was not ready so they wanted me to setup in a guest room or the back office.  Neither was great but after an hour debate we decided I would setup in the back office and they would move the equipment in a couple days when the meeting room is finished.  Ugh.  When I return the next morning to finish up, I am told that the fire marshal is here and I’m not supposed to be onsite yet since they haven’t passed inspection.  Ugh again.  I rushed, packed up and ran out the door.  I hope they actually move the equipment like they promised.

FIS and RI, Charlotte Airport CLTWE and CLTFS Viper Install with Matt and Josh.  We all needed to learn how to install a Viper server to allow the key system to work with a dual property (2 FOSSE servers).  It went smoothly since Matt has done a few before.  Seems doable if I have to do one in the future.  Stayed at my first ALoft property.  They are actually really nice.  Welcome to the family Starwood!  I will enjoy exploring your brands.

Friday, November 18th

FIS, Akron Stow (CAKAS) opening.  I’m so glad I was sent here for this one.  Great people and because of Matt’s perfect install, all went smoothly.

FIS, Chicago Schaumburg (CHIZS) opening.  OMG this property should have pushed a week.  They are a new management company and I have no idea who approved them to do a dual property for their first one.  Big mistake.  They are some of the nicest people ever but are not used to the high Marriott standards. I had high hopes they would have pulled it all together for the opening.  They did not.  Allen and Nate were just as frustrated as I was having to walk rooms many, many times.  This is just one side of the hotel too.  The other side will open next year.  I hope they learn from this...

RI, Charlotte Airport (CLTWE) and FIS, Charlotte Airport (CLTFS) Install with Matt.  Luckily this property is awesome and the people are even better.  The onsite IT manager named Chris is amazing and did a lot of the work for us.  I feel like we should have tipped him or something.  Anyways, it was a typical install.  They are using FLI so they only had a couple PCs per side for the front desk.  We tested the viper again and made sure all was good before we left.

Well yeah, actually I agree with you. My studies gave me a lot. I know it’s kind of popular to say that Uni gives you nothing, well at least in Russia it’s quite popular, but I think Uni gives you as much as you want to take. As for the wisdom, yeah. Being 30 I’m totally different person from being 25. A went through a lot of changes during that period of my life, and I grew a lot. I actually love being 30. I didn’t love being 14 or 20, although I enjoyed those years. But now I know I love my age.

You know what? I thought about it and realized that maybe it wasn’t that bad?? Like, all the little details T_T The water droplets on both of them, the rips in the sail, Derek’s scales, Stiles’ fucking eyelashes! Like, the amount of detail in all your pictures blows me away! And like, the strands of their hair, and the sand, and just T__________T It’s so fucking pretty!

Me too, dude. Didn’t even expect me to feel like this. I queued some posts with Jayce’s mom’s house yesterday, and there’s such a huge contrast between these two lives, you know. I mean these clean sheets and cozy breakfast, abandoned 'cause love was way more important than food at the moment make me cry ‘cause I know how freaking far Jayce is from it now T_T

I think it’s the first house I’ve ever built that is special enough to have a character of its own, you know. I usually just build, I never think of a character I build for. But this time is different, same goes for Jayce’s apartment. Those are things created with characters in mind. And that feels really good. It’s funny and marvelous, the way I’m connected to Fayce. I love Luke and Ocean but their story never had depth, they always were more of comic characters than the real ones. Now it’s different. I treat the story different. There’s so much more to Fayce story than just a scheme for me.

Well, I go in game, take screenshots of requested items descriptions, and then I google each item, and link it to the creator’s page. Yeah, usually it takes me about an hour :D But I don’t build that much for it to bother me, and when I feel I have enough of wcifs I’ll stop taking them I guess!

Oh myyyyyy, how do you make those pretty family portraits? When I try to make it, it always looks to small and I lost all the datails. You know what I mean? Idk if I'm not making it into a good size while retexturing the cc... :'( The portraits look pixelated in the end.

These look pixelated too! If I zoom in, the pics look all pixelated and blurry! I’ve never been able to make them as clean and smooth as my screenshots :( I usually follow tutorials from S4S, and I slap my in-game photo on the .dds frame without changing the original size. But when I resize the in-game photo to fit the frame, it always gets pixeleted.

Stiles held both hands out. “She loves it here!”

“Probably because we treat her right,” Boyd insisted, giving him a look.

“Again, not my fault,” Stiles argued. “But I will let you berate me to your heart’s content as long as you help fix her so she doesn’t leave me stranded in the boonies.”

“This whole fucking town is the God damn boonies,” Derek said angrily. Stiles wondered if he had any other settings.

So far he’d learned confusion and anger. He hoped there was a happy setting in there somewhere.

Boyd’s gaze cut briefly to Derek, then back to Stiles. “I see you’ve met Derek.”

“Oh yeah. We are now very close friends,” Stiles said, turning to grin at the Alpha.

He didn’t look impressed. Also like he was trying to figure out which parts of Stiles were the squishiest and easiest to eat through. That was concerning, he didn’t like that.
