this guy in the deadlock discord server keeps posting gameplay clips in 5120x1440 resolution and nobody can comment on his gameplay because of how distractingly bad his aspect ratio is

It is absolutely vital in any fandom to have a favourite character who you want to wrap up in a pile of blankets and give sweet treats to and a favourite character you want to beat on the head with hammers.

Everybody driving a car thinks they're the main character of the car. This is an ideologically bourgeois attitude. You know who doesn't ever feel like the main character of the vehicle they're in? Literally everyone on the bus. You're on the fucking bus. And the bus driver doesn't feel like the main character of the bus because she's at fucking work. The bus is the most ideologically proletarian form of transport.

There's something that makes me ILL about how Dvalin was said to have been very destructive and hated when he was a young dragon first visiting Teyvat, and that he didn't understand the consequences of his actions. Like he's actually so similar to Durin it's not funny. Despite his obligation to protect Mondstadt, you have to wonder if he felt for Durin... On a dragon's timescale, he's still just a baby. Even without abyssal corruption, he still would've been similarly destructive because young dragons don't know any better... They're too big and too immature to understand that they hurt people. Maybe if he wasn't of the abyss, Dvalin could've taken him under his wing (literally heh) and provided to Durin what Venti provided to him millennia ago, someone who understood what was going on inside of their little baby head!
But alas... Things couldn't be that simple. Dvalin only got a taste of Durin's experience. He was only poisoned by the abyss while Durin was the abyss. It took 500 years, but he eventually realized how much Durin must have suffered during their fight, how easy it was to manipulate him into thinking he was doing the right thing, how he was just exploring the world and showing off his beauty just like his mommy wanted. At least in his eyes. Dvalin, a full grown dragon, fell prey to the abyss, so imagine what it must've been like for a baby to have been born from the abyss.
Dvalin hopes Durin can rest easy now.
