So the way I.. SEE IT. the prank war is mostly intense between Monty and Cal and Bobby is just there not choosing sides just helps each of them with their plans‼️

ALL OF THEM SWEARS alr idc if I gave the moon role to Bobby (not like it does much) he swears smoothly with no shame (around close ones) and tries to be respectful around the elders(especially around Strip and Lynda ofc...for some time) while Cal sometimes just idk forgets he's around elders and swearing is not as normalized with them as it is with him (1. Speaking of experience, 2. Same with Monty)

i think mountain secretly really loves winter

i see so many headcanons about mountain not liking winter because of his element being affected by all the plants dying (which i absolutely love, don't get me wrong !!!) but as someone who lives in a place where winter is the time of year that the grass is green and trees are all evergreen so they don't really lose their leaves... i think earth ghouls deserve to find beauty in the wintertime too :)

mountain especially loves sitting by the fireplace with a good book and a cup of tea, sheltering from the freezing weather, but i think he also loves being out in the cold. something about layering up his clothes and pulling on gumboots and a raincoat just to go outside and check on the plants in his greenhouse gives him a lot of joy, the routine of it all grounds him and makes checking his plants an event rather than just something he goes and does

it's even worse than I thought this morning 😭

Hurricane Helene is now a cat 3, and I've heard it's expected to hit a cat 4 before it makes landfall. from what i saw, it's definitely bigger than Idalia, but I haven't seen any comparisons to Katrina yet.

what gets me is how far INLAND the eye of the storm will be though. I'm so used to having them follow the coast, where we'd get the arms more than anything, but the projected path for Helene goes DIRECTLY over Atlanta. that's how far in it's supposed to go. which is nuts to me.

but all that to say; yeah I have to work :( not even just today, which was bad enough i had to drive home with my hazards on, but even if the lines don't work tomorrow, because I got moved off the lines and into material, I MAY VERY LIKELY STILL HAVE TO WORK. and even if I DON'T my new supervisor told us to just come in anyway and they'll decide from there ;;;; which is dumb af cus if the lines aren't running then that means that it's too dangerous ??? so why would material have to come in if it's dangerous???? urgh.

its so dumb :(( and we can't even just call the holiness the way the lines don't bc it won't specify for material :((( which means again like. even if they decide we won't work we still have to drive out there and home!! on the morning of friday, which is right in the middle of when the storms are expected to be the worst!!!!!

Finally it's cold enough for this beautiful patchwork jacket

I thrifted this beautiful patchwork jacket (for 8€!!) at the beginning of summer. Totally the wrong season for it, as it's also lined with warm fleece fabric. But I knew I just had to wait. Winter is always coming. I'm really happy I get to wear it finally!

There's just one thing I'd like to change: this jacket didn't come with draw strings to make the hood tighter. That is a feature that's very useful for windy days, so I can prevent the hood from being blown of my head. I will have to do a quick-fix and add drawstrings myself.
