I'll genuinely never get over the fact that Gin's alter is him wearing a binder and stilettos but stylised. I was sat looking at him like... ok a binder is really specific, but it's gotta just be a design thing that they thought looked cool... BUT NO! Then they hit me with not only 'I'm p sure I'm trans' but 'you could even be nonbinary if neither male or female feel like they work for you' in a jrpg... I ... 😭 but with actual research into the terms 'maybe agender fits, or you could be genderfluid!' (Not exact wording because it's been ??? 3 years since I played fully or something) And Gin getting room to explore that knowing he's not doing it alone...
Also it probably helps that I was playing it while recovering from top surgery. So I was lay on a sofa in Spain, grinding away in the killer music based dungeons, when Gin hit me with the emotional side swipe, and I had to take a minute (5 hours) to stop crying because it really meant the world.
