My thoughts on Bsd Chapter 116

Spoilers below.

Well I got my explanation on why Fyodor said he lied but Fukuchi said he got the message from Amenogozen.

I can't believe this man scribbled on a wall with a sword and that's how we got here.

This is only fueling my belief that Fukuchi is one of the craziest characters in this show.

Feel for Fukuzawa though, all of this shit and everything he and the Agency just went through not to mention Fukuchi's entire life was a lie.

Also callback to when this happened to Atsushi. But I don't remember the swords being this huge.

Oh cool Amenogozen is just becoming giant ass swords of destruction, sure why not makes more sense than time travel.

Atsushi bud I recommend you turn the fuck around.

Oh damn I didn't know Fitzgerald was also known as the Kingpin. Suprised to see him being involved with this.

I love how the airport falling is the final straw. People are missing their flights, you've gone too far Fyodor!

I don't give too shits about Fukuchi but my heart is shattering for Fukuzawa. Seeing him so utterly defeated and grieving just hurts to watch.

This pillar of strength and guidance falling apart before out eyes. It hurt in the Decay of Angels arc and it hurts now.

Also Atsushi is casually lifting up this large debrie without the use of his ability. His arms aren't transformed, that's impressive.

Oh my god someone hug Fukuzawa please. If this arc ends with Fukuzawa not getting a hug I swear.

See that's I've been saying, Atsushi run but we all know he ain't gonna.

"The gates of hell have opened here" fuck that's a cool line. And if course he wants Fyodor to burn, to pay for everything he's done. All the while wanting his family to be safe.

Said asshole is just smug as hell.

Man we're really seeing flashes of the Silver Wolf aren't we? This is the man who stopped a war before it began and was a renowned swordsman.

The man who only looked forward to the next kill and nothing else.

Oh damn I was not expecting Fukuzawa to tell Atsushi to go stop Fyodor. I get it because where even is everyone else but holyshit this is intense.

"Regarding the Decay of Angels incident, these are your final orders" yeah well fun thing about that is, nothing could've scared me more.

That one frame of Atsushi smiling uneasy is everything.

Look at the Agency being resourceful love to see it. Yeah summon the Agency, let's goo.

Based on a twitter post of mine: RanFuku but they're just penguins and Ranpo finds ALL THE PRETTIEST ROCKS FOR HIS FUKUZAWA

-Fukuzawa was born with a pigmentation condition that makes his 'tuxedo' coloring a light gray. The other penguins rejected him for it and under normal circumstances he would have died, but he's kind of a major badass and no predator has gotten him yet. He hasn't gotten a mate of course, but he is male so it's technically because he hasn't tried.

-Ranpo got hurt/lost as a baby and was raised in part by humans. Now Ranpo hangs around human researchers and well, he likes to break their experiments and play with their tools because he kinda gets what they're doing and he thinks humans need to chill more. He's a little weird to the other penguins.

-He lays eyes on Fukuzawa and it's love at first sight. Fukuzawa, who has not had friends all his life, has no idea what Ranpo wants.

-Ranpo heard the human rumor that penguins find pretty stones for their mates and he goes and finds the most gorgeous stone he can and lays it at Fukuzawa's feet. Fukuzawa (male) is like ??? you know I am boy yes...?

-Ranpo continues to do this. Ranpo just keeps bringing him rocks and what's Fukuzawa to do but assemble them into a nest? The other penguins start to take notice of this bright penguin in his increasingly colorful, shiny nest. Eventually Fukuzawa has to bully Ranpo away from the beach because there's no more space for rocks and they don't even have any eggs to raise in it!!

-Ranpo sees this and raises him a chick. The next time he wanders off he comes back with orphaned chick Yosano. Fukuzawa finds he's got a little penguin family very suddenly and he decides to do his best to act like a normal sociable penguin for them (because he loves them).

**BUNGO STRAY DOGS SEASON 4 EPISODE 1 SPOILERS**

(There's also some spoilers for whats gonna happen later in the story, so if you still wanna be surprised, maybe stay away)

Here are some things I'm absolutely in love with:

- Getting to actually see young Fukuzawa be a casual badass is so good, this season in general should be really nice for people that like to see him kick ass

- Baby Ranpo is just as delightfully annoying and right as he seemed in the book, and I love how he just jaringly pops into the scene out of nowhere, as he should

- A note that's making me emotional, right now we're seeing the world through shades of blue and grey, very drab and sad, we're seeing it through Fukuzawa's eyes, who right now is alone and ashamed and doesn't think of himself as a very good person. But, when he starts thinking back to all the moments Ranpo is doing something amazing, they're always in full color, even though those previous scenes were also grey. Its this indication that Ranpo is starting to bring color and life back to him,and considering where this will all end up, that's exactly what will happen. I wouldn't be surprised if we have a moment next episode, either right after the lie happens and Ranpo just unleashes his full amazingness OR in the moment where Fukuzawa goes to save Ranpo and realizes he's angry cause he was scared and worried and actually cares about this kid, where suddenly everything is in color.

- Another note that makes me emotional, they say right off the bat that this is also a story about parenting, and yeah, that is the relationship they have. I know people can ship what they want, and people frequently ship these two, but after you've read Untold Origins it feels weird, cause Fukuzawa was basically a parent to Ranpo, and not in just the figurative sence, Fukuzawa takes Ranpo in when he is 14 and from there on cares for him, makes sure he gets an education, that he's fed and clothed, and that's why he's the only person that Ranpo really listens to as an adult. That's his dad y'all.

- I love how, they end the episode with the moment where Ranpo is reading Fukuzawa and Fukuzawa freaks out at him, ESPECIALLY cause of the way they framed Ranpo looking at him so shocked, opening his eyes for the first time all episode. This is because I can see this paralleling really well with the later scene, when Fukuzawa saves Ranpo and slaps him for being so careless and putting himself in danger, and Ranpo again looks at him in shock. But it's a different recation both times. In the first scene, Ranpo is shocked and seems scared, probably starting to think that this adult isn't any different than others, getting mad at him when he points out the 'obvious'. But the second moment is so different, it's after the lie, it's after Fukuzawa continues to stick around DESPITE all the problems and grief Ranpo being there brings him, and when he's shocked and starts crying, yeah its partially cause Fukuzawa smacked him, but it's also because this is the first time since his parents that an adult has cared enough about him to worry about his safety, he isn't scared in this scene, not really, after all he immediately then latches onto Fukuzawa. I hope it really does end up being paralleled so well.

Now, here are some things I'm sad we missed out on and am concerned about:

- I know why they couldn't do this, but I'm kinda sad some people are gonna miss out on the absolutely beautiful moment when Fukuzawa and Ranpo are heading to the theater, Ranpo is just talking his ear off, and Fykuzawa spends the whole time plotting how to get rid of him, including a thought about throwing him into the ocean. It's a beautiful and hilarious scene. Honestly, this episode makes Fukuzawa look so much more well put together, when in the novel we get all his thoughts and he basically spends the whole story floundering and not at all knowing how to interact with Ranpo. It's very humanizing for a character who can seem a bit 'larger than life' sometimes. Again, I know why they couldn't, but I'm still sad we're not getting it.

- I could just be misremembering where this conversation is supposed to happen, but I hope they don't just skip over on giving us more information about Ranpo's parents, cause knowing the kind of people they were and seeing Ranpo's love and respect for them is super important for WHY Fukuzawa creates the lie. A big reason Fukuzawa doesn't just tell Ranpo the truth (alongside panicking cause he doesnt know how to deal with a child having a breakdown), that he's amazingly intelligent and different from other people, is because his parents were equally amazing and intelligent people who never told Ranpo how amazing he is and how he sees the world differently from other people, and seeing how much Ranpo loved his parents, Fukuzawa doesn't want to reveal to him that they kept that from him his whole life. Now, the way they zoomed the camera in on just Ranpo's mouth when he says they're dead, not letting us see his whole face and emotion, does give me hope that they will address it more next episode. Fingers crossed.

Let me tell you about an adorable thing that happens in your missions

When you guys are successfully done with a mission you guys bump noses in your animal forms

Because it makes you guys less shy apparently

As time went by, he started developing deep feelings for you

Atsushi prioritizes kindness and having a good heart; I also see him being patient with a s/o that was already used to making heartless decisions until they can finally open their heart to kindness

So it’s no surprise that he fell for you

In addition to that, your outgoing personality is something he always looks forward to and makes him love spending time with you even more

It’s just so heart fluttering to him because you always manage to cheer him up no matter how down he may feel

FAST FORWARD TO HIM CONFESSING CAUSE YEAH

He convinced Kunikida to buy a tiger roar translator (yes I decided it’s a thing if it isn’t)

And then he gave it you

But then he transformed and then roared that he likes you

You sometimes like to tease him about being a big cat and using the term cat instead of tiger

The meeting was pretty awkward I am not even going to sugarcoat it 👩‍🦲

Let’s take it from his point of view though

One minute he was normally living his life and the other he sees a very very very pretty lady so he stumbled a lot on his words

But once he composed himself you got to know that he is a really kind person and he was always supporting and helping you in your first days in the agency

(still continues to help you later on but that’s beside the point right now🕳🚶‍♀️)

Considering how Naomi is quite extrovert, you guys become friends quite easily which tanizaki takes quite the pride in and is really happy with it

As you both start getting more comfortable with each other, your feelings start to bloom

Also may I add that you both get paired for missions more often than not

Once again fukuzawa is shipping

But also your abilities compliment each other welll making the both of you the perfect pair

(aside from tanizaki’s sometimes fucked up actions like nearly damn killing someone while he is from the detective agency )

As you open up to him, he starts to further enjoy your time together because he realizes that you finally feel comfortable with, and of course that’s not to say he didn’t enjoy it before

Dazai swears he stopped breathing for a second when he first saw her.

The first time he sets eyes on her, he's gone-

He had heard about her, about Fukuzawa's new pupil and how she'd passed the test flawlessly.

Dazai isn't one to fall in 'love'. At all.

He's thought people are attractive after all, but he's never experienced the feeling of just freezing in place and staring at someone.

Cue Y/N entering the room from Fukuzawa's office.

Damn.

The first thing that struck him was how utterly beautiful she was

The second thing was how unbelievably sweet she was to everyone.

Even Ranpo, yes, Ranpo, offered her some of his snacks with a smile when you helped him find his glasses.

He needed to talk to this person, so naturally, on her first day of the job, he strolls up behind her and places a hand on her shoulder, leaning over to talk to her.

The moment her starts talking, he somehow finds himself pinned to the nearest wall, face first.

Dazai takes a minute to process, before he realises that you just flipped him and had him pinned in five seconds flat.

Damn.

Pretty and Badass?

He looks over his shoulder and he swears he's developing hear problems when he sees the fierce expression on your face.

A beat of silence passes.

"This may just be the best day of my life." Dazai grins at her, prompting her to snap out of it and release him, taking a quick step back.

She's unlucky, however, losing her footing in her surprise, mid apology. She's stumbling backwards, bracing herself to hit the ground.

She never does.

Instead, warm arms wrap around her, holding her securely in place.

She finally cracks open her eyes and meets his brown ones. Her face feels hot as she takes in his warm smile and their proximity.

"My my, what a lovely introduction." He grins

It only goes uphill from there.

Dazai takes every moment he can to spend time with you.

Walking home? Would you look at that, so is he!

"Dazai, you're house is the opposite direction-" "I've been meaning to explore this are anyway!"

On your lunch break, so is he!

"Dazai you're lunch break ended 15 minutes ago-"

She won't lie, it makes her very happy to spend time with him. She finds his presence fun and easy to be around.

Once she's been part of the agency a while, Dazai and her get even closer.

Dazai's the one to confess first, after assessing the situations slowly over the past few months.

He does it in a classic, cheesy way.

The both are walking in a park at night and he drops the fact that he likes her casually into conversation-

Needless to say, that was an interesting night, and he was over the moon when his feelings were reciprocated.

the doctor is in the house (quite literally)

going grocery shopping was an okay chore in your opinion

it honestly depended on your mood or whatever kind of shit happens when you go shopping

cause like something always, always happens whenever you go do groceries

sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad, and sometimes it’s just plain weird

one time some weirdo proposed to you in the middle of the store asking for a double suicide

he was good looking you’d admit but it’s not like you’d ever see him again

or so you thought

every so often, you’d run out of real person food in your apartment

you mostly survive off all of the leftover bakery treats and ingredients—which works out pretty well actually—but bakery supplies unfortunately also run out quite often

and also unfortunately, one time when both fukuzawa & ranpo took a visit to Sakura’s, fukuzawa argued that “no you can’t live off sweets for the rest of your life”

ranpo was scandalized and scrambled to cover your ears

you guys were at it for a while

in the end you sided with fukuzawa causing ranpo to go off about “betrayal from the people he cared most abt” or smth like that

you guys were okay again after bribing him with sweets :)

for bakery supplies you usually have them delivered bc you order them in large quantities bc ahaha no way were you gonna carry like 15-20 50 pound bags of flour no way

when days like those happen, you close up the bakery early so you aren’t walking home when it’s too dark

you scheduled it to happen every first saturday of the month

on those saturdays, you close at 5 instead of at 8

currently, you were at the grocery store looking for basic cooking ingredients such as proteins, vegetables, fruits, and most importantly, snacks

ranpo’s been rubbing off on you

the sun was starting to set and you were walking home with your two bags of groceries when shit went down

tbh you were kinda expecting it cause your grocery run was peaceful for once

but what you weren’t expecting was a wack-a-do to appear out of goddamn nowhere right when you were opening the side door to get to the staircase up to your apartment

like honestly

the man who grabbed you tried to covered your mouth so you couldn’t scream but you didn’t exactly make it easy for him

you kicked and thrashed around even using the grocery bags—that were somehow still in your hand—as a weapon and the man struggled but he was still bigger than you and was able to bring you to a nearby alley

he reeked of alcohol and you spotted a wedding band on his left hand

not that you cared about the detail in the moment

you kicked him in the groin and in response he let you go only to fall on broken glass that was in the alley way

using the wall to help yourself up, you grabbed a nearby wooden stick and struck him right on his back

your attacker fell and you immediately turned on your heels to escape only to fall back down on the hard cold ground once again

you lift your face up and look back to see the man holding onto your ankle

grabbing a shard of glass—cutting yourself in the process— you begin to swing it at him only for him to easily grip your wrist and stop you

you get ready try and kick him in the groin again but you’re interrupted as your attacker gets sucker punched and flies to wall

you look up to see your savior and you’re blessed to see a beautiful woman, probably not that much older than you are—she’s probably around ranpo’s age— donning a white long sleeve button up, a matching black necktie, knee length skirt, and gloves, along with tights, red heels, and a pretty butterfly clip in her short black hair

but what you really notice is her eyes

ranpo’s eyes were pretty but you like hers just a bit more

you’ve always liked the color magenta

the pretty lady holds out her hand and you take it graciously and thank her as she helps you up

as that’s happening, your attacker gets himself onto his feet and his groan catches both of your attention

he struggles to stand and the pretty lady simples saunters over to him and delivers an uppercut knocking him out cold

you’re stunned and you breathe out a “thank you” making her turn towards you

she notices the condition you’re in

bleeding scrapes on your hands, arms and legs, small rips in your clothes like your tights, blouse, and skirt, and the ruffled state of your hair and clothing

she asks if you live nearby and you tell her that you own the bakery that’s one or two buildings away

when you tell her that, it clicks in her mind that you must be the bakery girl ranpo’s been talking about and the friend fukuzawa was cat sitting for

it’s been abt two weeks since ranpo and fukuzawa first met you and since then, they’ve seen lucky in the office plenty and the boxes of your signature sweets even more

if those two trust you, she has no reason not to

she smiles at you, holds out her hand for you to shake, and introduces herself as the doctor of the armed detective agency

your eyes widen and you smile back at her shaking her hand

“ah! you must be yosano-sensei then! ranpo-san and fukuzawa-san have talked about you! it’s so nice to meet you! im (l/n) (y/n)!”

“they’ve talked about you too, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you (y/n)”

after that exchange she insisted on bringing you home to treat you wounds which you told her it wasn’t necessary

she gave you a pointed look and that was when you realized what state you were in

you sighed and weakly gave in to which she only grinned at

before leaving the alley she walks over to the unconscious man and pulls out his wallet for some sort of identification and home address as you try to see if there’s any groceries still salvageable

after texting the details to kunikida, yosano turns to you poking around the now ruined grocery bags

she simply rubs your back and tells you that the both of you could go buy more groceries together as she was meaning to get some anyways; she even said she’ll pay for you

you refused obviously but she, unknowingly, used the same tactic fukuzawa used with you

“so you’re saying you don’t need groceries?”

“...”

*cue an eyebrow raise from our resident queen*

“...you agency members don’t like making things easy for me huh.”

you gave in reluctantly and at this point you don’t even know why you try negotiating with them

and that’s only three of them

apparently, she was on the other side of the street on the way to buy groceries for the agency when she noticed different produce items on the other sidewalk leading to the alley and she went to check out what happened

ironically, the way to the grocery store from the agency makes you go past Sakura’s but she didn’t realize it until after the two of you had met

before you know it, the two of you are in your apartment kitchen as she cleans and patches up all of your wounds

as she does so the two of you have a little girl talk

you find it quite comforting bc since you opened up Sakura’s you haven’t really had the chance to connect to many people much less other women

you definitely see yosano as your cool, loving, badass older sister

she thinks you’re adorable and agrees with ranpo’s opinion

after that small fiasco, the two of you talked some more and bonded over your love for flowers, japanese sweets, and much more!!

you even made a date to have a girls day to go shopping and eat out!

you’re internally squealing a bit bc it’s been a while since you’ve gone shopping

yosano notices and she giggles behind her hand not saying anything bc she knows you’ll only throw a fit

the two of you came around the topic of ranpo when lucky passed by

lucky quickly warmed up to the doctor and cozied up in her lap

“i wish ranpo-san was able to meet lucky when he came by the first time, but then again, he’d probably throw a tantrum if i don’t pay attention to him for 5 seconds”

she snorted at that and like fukuzawa, she shared stories abt the slightly older male

“ranpo-san doesn’t know how to ride a train?”

“unbelievable right?”

“for someone so intelligent i expected more from him”

“i’ll be telling that to ranpo-san, (n/n)-chan”

“wha—?! yosano-sensei please don’t!”

like ranpo, she’s also a tease </3

but you love her anyway <3

eventually, she finished patching you up and promised to treat you to a new set of clothes when the two of you go out

“you don’t need to lose a good set of clothes just because of a sleazy man (n/n)-chan! you deserve better!”

you were going to argue that the rips in your clothes were fairly small and could easily be fixed—except the tights—but you stopped in your tracks when you remembered that it was practically useless to argue against an ada member

the two of you walked to the grocery store and bought both of your needed supplies—along with some extra goodies—and then she walked you back to your place bc it was already a bit dark out

but even if it wasn’t, she would walk you anyways

besides, if anything happened to you, she’s 1000% positive that ranpo and fukuzawa are gonna flip the fuck out not that she wont cause she most definitely will

speaking of which

you were drinking a bottle of water as the two of made your way back to Sakura’s when all of a sudden

“(y/n) you do realize that i have to tell shachou and ranpo-san about what happened today right?”

you choked on your water

“yosano-sensei you can’t! if you do they’ll freak! they won’t leave me alone for at least two weeks! one if im lucky!”

“exactly the point”

you just accepted your defeat already knowing that you’d lose

but maybe you can simmer down their anger towards the bastard with sweets and lucky

you arrived at Sakura’s shortly after and after bringing groceries in, you packaged a bunch of pastries leftover from today—bc you closed early—and bc you’re well aware that ranpo doesn’t share any of the sweets you send him with

you even gave yosano her own special box filled with goodies she loves, and a thermos of fukuzawa’s favorite, your special hot honey lemon tea

other than the sweets, you prepared lucky to spend the night at fukuzawa’s

you really really hoped that doing these things would make them calm down

you shivered at the thought of what their responses would be

you felt really bad for giving yosano all these things to carry and that you were keeping her very late

she assured you that she was fine and that if someone tried to mess with her she’d kick their ass

and after exchanging numbers, the magenta eyed queen bid you a good night and walked back to the agency with lucky walking by her heels

arriving back at the agency, yosano was greeted with some concerns asking if she was alright bc she came back from her grocery run pretty late

(she usually goes in the mornings but today was pretty busy so she left in the late afternoon but now it was already dark)

she waved off the concerns and plopped a couple boxes of your signature bakery boxes at ranpo’s desk, the one for her at her own, the last few boxes in the kitchen for any other agent or clerk to grab, placed the thermos on the desk fukuzawa was by, and picked up lucky and handed him to the president

the two males were pleased with what yosano had brought them, and pleased that another agency member had the chance to meet you

fukuzawa was rubbing lucky and ranpo already snacking on treats as yosano expected

but here comes the hard part

or maybe it’s gonna amusing who knows

“i met (y/n) today.”

“we could tell.”

in goes another treat in the green eyed man’s mouth

“would you like to know how?”

“you bumped into each other, had girl talk, made plans to go out, went grocery shopping, and you brought me and shachou presents.”

“great job ranpo-san, you’re almost completely correct.”

this caught the attention of basically everyone bc they knew ranpo was never “almost completely correct”

“we ended up meeting bc she got attacked on her way home from grocery shopping, i treated her wounds, then we had girl talk and did all the other stuff”

ranpo and fukuzawa froze right in their tracks

“i sent all the info of the bastard to kunikida”

“kunikida.”

“yes shachou”

“find out everything about that man and bring it to me and ranpo”

Hello! Could I request a scenario or headcannons for Mori who has a doctor S/O with an ability similar to Trafalgar Law's Ope Ope No mi? Like they are probably the most friendly person in the mafia but on the battle feild they are a raging badass that does weird things like play golf with their sword and enemies heads while their conscious. How do you think everyone would to react them (Mafia + ADA)?

The wind seemed to pick up as you held out your hand in front of you, clenching it into a fist and after a moment, opened once more, a bright orb releasing and expanding around your form. It grew and grew until the perimeter was completely enclosed by what now looked to be a translucent dome that disappeared as quickly as it came. Your sharp eyes searched the area for your fellow Mafioso's, your ability allowing you to not just feel where they were but to lock onto their presence and move them at will. The smell of blood was thick in the air and upon finding three of the sources, men on your side, you reached out again, swept your hand in a grabbing motion and pulled your fist towards yourself. For a split second, the injured disappeared from sight, before reappearing once more a few feet behind you where they would be safe. 

“Stay there and don’t move around too much. I’ll fix the three of you up when this is all over and I don’t feel like losing friends today,” you directed to them, receiving no response in return, but knowing all too well that they would not disobey. With the injured out of harms way, you shifted your attention back to the battle, just on time to see the enemy firing at you. With a sweep of your hand, just like last time, the bullets were gone and redirected at the offender, shooting him down with his own ammunition. 

“This is boring, let’s add some excitement shall we?” You hummed with a growing smirk, stretching out both your arms, fingers spread apart and then crossing your forearms together. Anyone who had their eyes on you may have had a clue what you were doing but those who didn’t and were your enemy noticed and felt nothing, even as you uncrossed them, severing limbs and heads from bodies. 

Screams and yells of terror and confusion filled the space before you and with a sharp laugh, you found a leg and a hand in your hands. “Batter up!” 

With a swing and a loud cry from the conscious head once in your grasp, it went flying through the air and through a window with a distant crash.

“Home run!”

Port Mafia

Needless to say, the members of the Port Mafia are very aware who you are and what you are capable of. 

For starters, as Ougai Mori’s significant other, what you say pretty much goes as no one really wishes to face is wrath if you were to be dismissed.

Not to say this is the only reason they listen to you though. You are also their top doctor. Not only do you have your medical studies backing you up but your ability and nickname, Surgeon of Death, allowed you to do just about anything. 

Ever since joining the mafia, many lives had been saved, surgeries performed without risk of being caught and thrown in prison, and all in all, you had just gained so much respect by being so reliable, that people listen to you regardless of your standing with the boss. 

Most do find your ability to be a little intimidating and thus find your intimidating considering you can technically dismember and rearrange their limbs at will if you so chose to. 

Being as nice as you are though, no one really thinks you would do that to them but it does surface every now and then when you’re brutal towards enemies. 

Mori loves every part of you. He loves that you’re super sweet to everyone you meet but the moment you need to, you put all that kindness away and let your inner freak out. He tends to find it really amusing when you start messing with people, especially since you can walk around with a conscious head in your hands without there being any blood loss. It’s that sick side of him that finds it really hot.

Someone like Chuuya though hates working with you. You’re great and all and you’re a good friend but with his ability being way different to others, you have a hard time detecting him with your ability. This means there has been more than one occasion where you have accidentally removed a limb or two from him in the middle of battle.

“Oh shit… uh, sorry about that Chuuya, let me just uh, reattach that for you.”

Armed Detective Agency

For starters, you joined the mafia long before Dazai left so the suicidal maniac is very familiar with you. It was interesting to find that having him in your dome didn’t cancel out your ability so you were still able to work with him but it’s best to keep your distance from each other so you didn’t accidentally make contact. If that happened while using your ability, it would become incredibly messy. 

So now as a detective, he is very aware of how much of a threat you are. When up against you, he tries to disable you as quickly as possible so there are no casualties. Once you’ve got your grasp on someone though, he stays back, trusting that you won’t needlessly kill someone.

The rest of the ADA is very weary of you too, knowing how dangerous you can be and are. However, while they wouldn’t verbally admit to it, based on what Dazai has told them, they would much prefer your medical methods than that of Yosano considering it would hurt way less and be a hell of a lot less scary. 

Most of them think you’re incredibly twisted though, especially those who are aware of how kind you are when you’re not in the middle of a job. To be able to switch from sweet to menacing in a second just isn’t normal. 

I feel you’ve probably known Mori for a long while so chances are, Fukuzawa is also very familiar with you. You’re probably friends to be fair but he is not fond of many of your decisions.

If for whatever reason Yosano is out of commission, Fukuzawa will call upon you if it’s an emergency because he knows you’re not cruel enough to turn down an urgent request from him or anyone in need really. 

Most ADA members have had at least one limb removed by you at some point in the last few years but you have never gone out of your way to harm anyone as they are good people.

Seeing Fukuzawa in the flashbacks and realising that he may seem like the calm and collected badass.

But he's really the single most stressed out man alive.

If Fukuzawa wasn't already grey he would've gone grey the moment he met Ranpo.

He is trying his best, like stressed out single dad isn't even a joke that's what he is.

And he's still able to project an aura of calm.

Honestly it's nice seeing him humanised like this, I love that no one with bsd is perfect even if some may seem it.

I love seeing that there's more to him than this silent badass.

And seeing him prior to everything really makes me understand why Kunikida is the best person to be his successor.

Aside from the superficial stuff, at their core they are both very similar people with shared ideals.

You can see a lot of young Fukuzawa in Kunikida.

The protectiveness, the temper, the fact he would do anything to help a kid that he just met.

And given Ranpo knew that Fukuzawa, I wonder if he sees it too.

Next, Tanizaki! Holy moly that boy went completely feral?! He suddenly became so interesting to me, Tani my man you are multi-faceted, so badass!

And Kouyouu 😖. Kouyou with Kyouka 🥺...please, I kin that woman, I really do. She's also a queen and I wanna marry her 👉🏼👈🏼

And last, but not least...

I was about to get upset because EVERYTHING but then Fyodor played the damn celli and my mind went " 😳😶🙂☺️🥰 and lights out. I swear I could just sit in a room and stare at him while plays forever, goodbye 💀.

Please.. look at his expression in the manga, he’s so in pain… My heart is being torn right now I can’t. I love Ranpo just because of this exact scene. I’m really so grateful that he comforted Kunikida. 🥺

i think the story idea is very nice !!! atsushi being a primordial being along with some friends who got injured and lost their memories definitely sounds interesting and i LOVE it

uhh I want more explorations of how complex Dazai's relationship to the Agency is? because it's not a simple thing, and in many ways he's worse off in the Agency than he was in the Mafia. teen wolf fandom had a fic trend of making Stiles badass and then angsting him and I wish I could mush those two thoughts together and just. have endless content of That fed into my brain at all times.

secondly I'd like more genderbends? especially partial ones because that's what I tend to connect to; Dazai is the obvious option, and I wish there was more partial genderbent Oda/Dazai, but also fem!Fyodor and her devoted resentful feral boyfriend/dog Nikolai is such an underrated dynamic. I also want someone to genderbend Ranpo just to see how THAT would work out because dear lord I would love useless arrogant autistic representation.

thirdly: more Agency Chuuya fics. please, more Agency Chuuya. it doesn't always have to be good for him but I really think he deserves to be put into different environments and I want to see all the ways that could pan out for him (especially the good, because I want him to be happy)

Louisa Alcott - Nevermind… Okay, she’s adorable and cute and I thought she’d get at least ONE vote. I have a feeling that she is universally loved, but other characters outshine hers, hence why she isn’t on the board.

 Atsushi Nakajima - I really undershot with these two... Despite them both being main characters, I didn’t think they were more iconic than other characters and what happened with Louisa Alcott I predicted would happen to these two instead. Thought wrong... 

Kyouka Izumi - I FORGOT HOW MUCH OF AN ADORABLE SNOWFLAKE SHE IS. I didn’t see that fandom mention her much compared to other characters and undershot.

Kenji Miyazawa - I thought he would get more votes, but I feel like the lack of his mentioning in recent chapters paired with his lack of appearance played a large role. He’s acknowledged as the sunshine of the cast, but at the end of the day, is not really developed.

Character I’d like as my BFF: I would be Dazai’s friend. We’re not that different from each other. He would make me more of an impulsive person, I feel, and he would cheat at playing Uno with me. Damn you...

For a softer and quieter friend, I’d be Poe’s friend. We’d be writing buddies~! We’ll be up, late at night, writing like zombies and scratching out words and crying on each other’s shoulders!

Character that’s ruined my life: Fyodor Dostoevsky. Enough said. He is one of the more complicated characters I’ll ever write for and because of him, my outlining game has gotten really serious and I can’t see writing the same way again.
