He is the Eternal Purusha. Otherwise called Krishna, he is endued with the splendour of gold, and shines with effulgence like a second sun. Possessed of ten arms, he is endued with great energy, and is the slayer of the foes of the gods.
Thanks, Mahabharata. Thanks.
This is from Anusasana Parva, Chapter CXLVII, KMG version.
I am intent on making all of us keel over for my Neela Megha Shyam-

What is male ego?
Male ego means the desire to gratify or enjoy sense objects. In Sastras, it is technically called Purusha Abhimana (falsely thinking, ‘’I am the doer, I am the enjoyer’’). The word Purusha is a technical term and applies to all the material genders of this material world, whether so-called male, female or any other. This enjoying mentality is the root cause of our material bondage in this world (samsara), causing us to suffer in the repeated cycle of birth and death.
In the words of Srila Prabhupada
The living entities, in the guises of men and women, are trying to enjoy the material energy; therefore in one sense everyone is puruṣa because puruṣa means "enjoyer" and prakṛti means "enjoyed." In this material world, both the so-called man and so-called woman are imitating the real puruṣa; the Supreme Personality of Godhead (Lord Krishna) is actually the enjoyer in the transcendental sense, whereas all others are prakṛti (enjoyed)
-Purport to Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 3.25.11
As long as we think, ‘’we are the enjoyers of everything we survey’’, we will suffer, for nothing belongs to us. Everything, including our own body, belongs to Krishna. Everything is His property (īśāvāsyam idaḿ sarvaṁ- Iso Upanishad- Mantra 1). When we factually understand that Krishna is the only supreme enjoyer and the supreme object of our love, then we attain real peace and eternal bliss. Then, Maya (material illusion) will no more trouble us.
ahaṁ hi sarva-yajñānāṁ bhoktā ca prabhur eva ca
[Lord Krishna says] I am the only enjoyer and master of all the offerings- Bhagavad Gita 9.24
A hand has no value if it is cut off from the body, for it cannot enjoy food independently, for such is the constitution of the hand in relation to the body. Similarly, a living entity, being an eternal part and parcel of the Lord, can only find happiness by experiencing the happiness of Krishna. If it tries to enjoy independently for its personal sense-gratification, it will become cut off from its spiritual essence, like a fish struggling outside water, and will thus suffer material bondage. This is the constitutional identity of a living entity in relation to Krishna. This is the intrinsic and unchanging dharma of the individual soul, just as the dharma of sugar is sweetness.
If however, some fortunate soul, by the practice of Bhakti yoga, attains pure love for Krishna and hears the enchanting flute song of Krishna, then all his so-called male ego (Purusha abhimana) will flee in shame.
samsare asiya,prakrti bhajiya, purusabhimane mari
krsna doya kori',nije abatari', bamsi-rabe nila hari'
I have come into this false material existence, adoring the material energy, thinking it fit for my enjoyment, and, now, I am seized with the false conception that I am a male (a purusa). But Lord Krsna, showing His compassion, descends Himself and forcibly steals away all such false conceptions with the transcendental sound of His flute.- Kalyana Kalpataru book, Bahirmukha Ho’ye Mayare Bhajiye

Verse 11.24 - Vishwarup Darshan Yoga
Touching the sky, glowing with many colors; with mouths wide open and huge blazing eyes; seeing You, my inner self is disturbed; I find no courage or peace, O Vishnu.
Arjun is overwhelmed by the sight of the Cosmic Form of Krishna, who reveals Himself as the Supreme Lord of all creation. Arjun sees Krishna's form as infinite, radiant, and terrifying, with countless mouths, eyes, arms, and legs. He realizes that Krishna is not just his friend and charioteer, but the source and controller of everything that exists. Arjun feels fear and awe in the presence of Krishna's majestic form, and he loses his composure and confidence. He addresses Krishna as Vishnu, the preserver of the universe, and begs for His mercy.
This verse expresses Arjun's devotion and surrender to Krishna, as well as his human frailty and confusion. Arjun is unable to comprehend the full glory and power of Krishna, who transcends all material limitations and dualities. Arjun is also unable to reconcile his love for Krishna as a person with his reverence for Krishna as God. He is shaken by the vision of Krishna's form, which displays both beauty and horror, creation and destruction, mercy and justice. Arjun needs Krishna's guidance and grace to overcome his fear and doubt, and to attain the supreme knowledge and bliss.
This verse also illustrates the theme of the Bhagvad Gita, which is the relationship between the individual soul (jiva) and the supreme soul (Brahman). The Gita teaches that the jiva is eternally a part of Brahman, but due to ignorance and attachment, it identifies with the body and mind, and suffers in the cycle of birth and death (samsara). The Gita shows that the way to liberation (moksha) is through devotion (bhakti), action (karma), and knowledge (jnana) of Brahman, who manifests as Krishna in the world. The Gita reveals that the Lord loves and protects His devotees, and who can be known by His names, forms, qualities, and pastimes.
There are many verses from other Vedic texts that are similar to this verse from the Bhagvad Gita.
- Rig Veda 10.90.15:
This verse describes the Cosmic Form of Purusha, the primordial being who sacrificed Himself to create the universe.
सप्तास्यासन् परिधयस् त्रिः सप्त समिधः कृताः । देवा यज्ञं तन्वानाः अबध्नन् पुरुषं पशुम् ॥
With seven fences did they hem him round; thrice seven logs they laid upon him there. The gods performed their sacrifice with him as victim; they bound him down as beast.
- Shvetashvatara Upanishad 3.19:
This verse declares that Brahman has no form or attributes that can be perceived by the senses or mind.
न तस्य कर्यं करणं च विद्यते न तत्समश्चाभ्यधिकश्च दृश्यते । परास्य शक्तिर्विविधैव श्रूयते स्वाभाविकी ज्ञानबलक्रिया च ॥
He has no work to do nor any instrument; No one is seen like Him or higher than Him. His power alone is heard of variously; His power itself is knowledge, strength, and action.
- Vishnu Purana 1.9.68-69:
These verses praise Vishnu as the supreme Lord who pervades and sustains the universe.
यस्यान्तः स्थितं विश्वं यस्मिन्सर्वम् प्रतिष्ठितम् । यस्यामुषा सर्वं जातं तस्मै विष्णवे नमः ॥
To Him who is within all things, in whom all things abide; from whom all things have come to be, to Vishnu be the praise.
यो देवानां प्रभवश्चोद्भवश्च विश्वाधिपो रुद्रो महर्षिः । हिरण्यगर्भं पशुपतिं व्येद तस्मै विष्णवे नमः ॥
He who is the source and origin of the gods; the ruler of the universe, the great seer; who knows Hiranyagarbha, the lord of beasts; to Him, to Vishnu, be the praise.

The resealing. The Uddhava-gîtâ is written in s'lokas in various meters. I have tried as much as possible to do justice to these measures in the Dutch redrafting. This is not primarily based on the idea that such a thing would bring the reader closer to the originals, but rather out of the need to indicate the changes in tone and timbre in the original text in Dutch as well. In general, the Dutch rules are as long as the Sanskrit rules and the size of the most common verses is almost identical. A handful of originally four-line s'lokas, because their content could not be represented in an identical form in Dutch, have resulted in six-line verses, which incidentally also occur in the original Sanskrit. I am not a Sanskritist, but a quarter of a century of association with original s'lokas in temple and âs?rama has given me some idea of the language of the Uddhava-gîtâ. I have relied heavily on a handful of existing English translations, of which those of S'rî Hridayânanda dâsa Goswâmî and S'rî Gopîparânadhana dâsa Adhikâri (1988, Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, Los Angeles) and those of CL Goswami (1982, 2nd dt., Gita Press, Gorakhpur) helped me the most. In the interpretation of words like âtma, purusha, yoga and so on, for which very different translations are possible, I have always followed the actual context as well as the siddhânta or the Vedic conclusion of my teachers, which the above-mentioned translation most closely approximates. is becoming. The word yoga, which only in the nineteenth or twentieth place means something like what westerners understand by it - 'meditation in lotus position' - in the Uddhava-gîtâ often means bhakti or the path of loving devotion; yogî therefore often means devoted servant of Krishna. http://bhagavata.net/hayesvar/ #netherlands #dutch #literature #author #poem #dedicated #holland #hindu #hinduism #culture #religion #religion #philosophy #god #love #service #service #society #life #birth #age #sickness #death #hereafter #eternal #temporary #body #mind #intelligence #soul https://www.instagram.com/p/CWVWNkQAHix/?utm_medium=tumblr

ARDHNARISHVARA ROOP Which represents the synthesis of masculine and feminine energies of the universe (Purusha and Prakriti) and illustrates how Shakti, the Divine feminine is inseparable from (or the same as, according to some interpretations) Shiva, the male principle of God. The one Divine energy split in two different bodies or forms to hold the balance of the Cosmos. For them who are exited as well as for them who are sceptical about the very famous term in today's date - TWIN FLAMES .. The ARDHNARISHVARA image or roop is nonetheless different.. Those who belong to the Hindu culture ,must be already aware of it as the same thing goes out for Lord Krishna and Shri Radhika (The eternal lovers) .. They were one soul in two different bodies which made them inseparable.. and hence is worshipped as the icon of eternal love who radiated same energy , emotions , feelings and preachings.. Twinflames hardly come together until they are on a mission.. the journey of twinflames is mostly a runner chaser one - if you look back in the ancient stories Lord Krishna and Shri Radhika were always in each other but never with each other whereas Sri Ramachandra and Devi Sita were together to create RAMAYANA for an Universal interest.. Lord Shiva and Devi Sati were deeply attracted to each other as they were the one divine power split in two bodies..they came together but Devi Sati had to leave earlier , later when she was again reincarnated as Devi Parvati they got together for a vast Universal interest and development . The moral of the story - Spirituality is One and immortal (AADI & ANANT), delivered differently in different religions and cultures. The basic mantra of Spirituality is Oneness and ARDHNARISHVARA or TWINFLAMES are the examples brought to earth time and again for a vast Universal interest or awakening. HAR HAR MAHADEVA ! 🙏🏻 JAI MAHISHASURA MARDINI !🙏🏻 Thanks to everyone of you for patiently reading my post. Tried sharing the little what I understand and experienced in my personal Spiritual journey .. loads of experience to be earned to unlearn the myths before I can share more. Much love and light to all ! Zinia www.reikiflames.com #ardhnarishwar (at Pune City) https://www.instagram.com/p/B807S41B26q/?igshid=vvm38yxteq7l

Most essential is that knowledge "I Am." Claim it, appropriate it as your own. If that is not there, nothing is. Knowledge of all the stages will be obtained only with the aid of this knowledge "I Am." From the Absolute no-knowing state, spontaneously, this consciousness "I Am" has appeared - there is no reason, no cause. Spontaneously it has come, with the waking state, deep sleep, the five elemental play, three Gunas, and Prakriti and Purusha. Then it embraces the body as its self and therefore identifies as a male or a female. This "I Amness" has its own love to be: it wants to remain, to perpetuate itself, but it is not eternal. This passing show may be likened to the following situation: suppose I was well all along, then suddenly I was sick and the doctor gave me medicine. After three days my fever was gone. So this stage of fever for three days is the "I Am" consciousness. Exactly like that - a passing show, a time-bound state. This principle loves to be, and one must not belittle it - it is a very Godly principle. This "I Amness" contains the entire cosmos. It is said that all this is unreal. When is it certified as unreal? Only when one understands this temporary phase. And in the process of understanding one is in the Absolute and from there recognizes this as a temporary, unreal state. Nisargadatta Maharaj
