challenge! write a nice message for each of your fave mutuals! feel free to tag them if you want.
You know, this has been sitting in my inbox for ages. Reason being is that 1) I really don’t like to pick favourites and 2) I wanted this to be meaningful so, seeing that we are heading towards the holidays and for those of us in Yankee land, are currently bathing in the season for showing gratitude, I would like to take this opportunity to show my gratitude to these lovely darlings who have moved me in some form or another (not in any particular order btw):
1. @burn-on-the-flame m’lady, your friendship has meant so much to me since the time we became mutuals. At the time, I was just beginning to relearn the ins and outs of tumblr after being dormant here for so long, but you were one of the people who showed me that it’s ok to vent about everything and anything on here. You’ve made me feel at ease about being myself on here and that has meant a lot to me. Thank you so much for being a great friend, and for always encouraging me to just be myself on tumblr. I love you so much, Mrs. Tucker!!
2. @freezerfreys also an OG fave of mine!! my dear your fashion, your musical talents, your charisma, your charm and the way you’re so confident in your own skin. Forgive me for saying this but I feel like I’ve just described all the attributes that attracted me to Eric Stewart from the very beginning but all that aside, those are also the reasons that keep me drawn to you as your mutual. Your genuineness, the way you keep it real on here, I love it all. I aspire to be you, my dear lady frey. You are a literal boss lady, I hope to be one the first to get an autographed copy of your first worldwide hit single!
3. @clockworkfairy thank you so much for the many times you have checked in on me. You have shone a light in times when I saw nothing but darkness on here. It’s so comforting to find people like you that restore a special kind of equilibrium in people’s lives. It’s what you’ve done to me, and I can’t thank you enough for all the times you’ve brought sunshine into my life when there was rain
4. @faeriejones you are an absolute sweetheart and I feel lucky to have crossed paths with you. Your warmth, kindness and very loving personality are so refreshing to see especially with how ruthless social media can be at times. Amber, with how little we’ve interacted, I still cherish the moments we have had to bond over common interests and gush over them! We need more of those type of interactions in the world. Pure fun, you know what I mean? You’re the kind of person I would frolick in a field of tulips with and have a laugh about it at the end. Thank you for being such a great friend, and for always being so thoughtful. It’s not much, but to me the effect is massive 💗
5. @channel-swimmer Loller!! I think you of all people on here probably know me best being friends with me on ig. If it’s one thing I’d like for you to take away from my ig stories it’s that I deliver the same fun and jovial energy irl as I do here on tumblr. I must admit I have way too much irl than I do on social media, and that’s the way it should be but anyway I digress. I am still so very happy to have found someone who is as passionate and charmed by 10cc as I am. I’m also grateful to be getting feedback from you on my fic Chances I do appreciate all that. You’re an epic bass player and before you I bow down, sir. I am not worthy!
6. @starrybluez Secret Rocker Santa 2023 brought me to you and it’s the reason I joined a second year of it so for that, I am so very grateful to you. Thank you for staying in touch with me and for all the great laughs (may I remind you of our Marc Bolan/Ringo Starr stint). Anyway, your brilliant Dee and I hope we get to share many more great laughs.
7. @lock-my-feelings-in-a-jar I love the way you are with Russ, because you remind me of how I am with Eric. Like, WE ARE THE EXACT SAME. Like when you mention that you keep track of Russ’ activities on other social media platforms is how I am about monitoring Eric’s whereabouts on ig or Spotify (like I just NEED to know when that man is dropping a new hit single). All that to the side, I love how passionate you are about your favourite artist because like you, I have also found the one artist that has made a major major MAJOR impact in my life and that is none other than my Eric Michael Stewart. He is my greatest inspiration as a musician myself, and as an individual. He reminds me to be a better version of myself, as I imagine Russ does with you. I’m just glad to have found people like you who look up to one artist as a symbol for hope, joy and happiness. And I’m sure that’s what Russ and Eric would want us to feel and experience, love.
8. @veryfancydoilies you are my second mutual that I gained through secret rocker santa and from the very beginning I knew you had this gentleness about you that just captivated me. Thank you for having such wonderful interactions with me and for gushing over cute 60s/70s guys with me. You’re such a sweetheart and I’m so pleased we’ve crossed paths 🩷🩷🩷🩷
9. @milkyway-ashes Like I said before, you are one of my absolute favourite people on here! You’re so knowledgeable about bands that I only listened to on occasion before you telling me a whole lot more about them! I’m always delighted to see you on my dash! You’re just so sweet and darling, I will always cherish the times we have had to interact with one another 🩵🩵🩵🩵
10. @mrsrogerwaters I love that we stay in touch and all those times we’ve talked about PF! Honestly, you’re probably one of the reasons they became my number 3 artist for this year, haha! Anyway, thank you for being so thoughtful always. Roggie’s a lucky guy, isn’t he? 🥰❤️
If I have forgotten anyone, I do apologise but this list is long enough as it is but that’s not to say that I don’t appreciate every single one of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you for the interactions, the kind words, the thoughtful gestures, etc. I cherish all of it and I wouldn’t be carrying on doing what I do on tumblr were it not for all of you, so thank you thank you thank you loads! xxxxxx

I love seeing people watching Naruto for the first time it's so fun for me.
Kishimoto the author is notoriously bad at writing women but don't worry Sakura gets her moments in the spotlight. Sasuke is a character where you're either head over heels in love with him or hate him with a burning passion. Naruto sucks in the beginning but I suppose that's the most realistic part of the show hes still lovable although a little ignorant. And everybody loves Kakashi all the time he's Mr. Worldwide.
I'm nine episodes into Naruto (for the very first time) and yeah it's good pacing so far. They're slowly giving us lore and stuff but I'm still confused about the jujitsu techniques. It feels like the clone / replace techniques can be exploited in the story a lot. Like "aha I got you!” "ha! You fool it was a clone, I've got you" "heh I thought you'd do that, so I made a clone" etc etc. I feel like this will annoy me soon...
Kakashi is hot AF. I knew that already lol but it's nice to finally see him in action.
I really enjoy seeing Sakura's internal monologue, she's so funny - but uh...when is she going to get in the fights? This better not be the standard situation, where she literally just watched from the sidelines. Please?
Naruto (the character) is currently very annoying sorry, I'm not endeared to him yet. Same with Sasuke.
Anyway
BELIEVE IT!!
#Despite Kishimotos poor ability to write women he writes children pretty realisticly#Like I truly believe i knew these kids and was bullied by them at some point in my childhood#The series has its flaws but its something I truly enjoy#Despite the fact that Sasuke was totally screwed over omg

Mr & Mrs. Winchester
Kinktober day 7: Mommy Kink
Pairing: AU!Dean Winchester x Reader
@deanmonandnegansbitch asked: Omg, did I ask for AU Dean with Mommy kink in it? 😅👀👀👀 Like they are alone in his beautiful mansion and Dean returns from a hunt, needs to seek comfort from her while get an edge off
A/N: Part of this was written during a meeting (online!), so if it seems rushed it's because I was very overwhelmed. Anyway, I hope you guys like this! I know Dean did. ;)
Summary: Dean comes back from a hunt and needs some comfort from you.
Warnings: mommy kink, humping, and language
Tired has become more of a euphemism to him than anything, yet rest is the last thing on his mind when he makes it back to the mansion. He needs to file a report about the hunt and send it to Huntercorps, but he has to throw his favorite pair of Levis away first. They're stained with werewolf blood, and he forgot to bring another pair to the hunt.
The door that's twice his height closes behind him. The hunter sighs in exhaustion, but then you appear. You’re walking barefoot on the glossy hardwood floor that Samuel recommended polish for, bless him, and you’re wearing nothing but his shirt and a pageant smile. God, you look so beautiful and hot and his.
The hunt was hard, but the most excruciating part was being away from you.
“Someone looks tired.”
“Beyond that, my love.” Dean gives you a lazy smile and leans in to kiss your lips. “How was your day?”
“Good. Three of my patients made a lot of progress.” You grin at him. The concept of PTSD for hunters is still new, and John had implemented a project of therapy specialized for them. You had a degree in psychology before becoming a hunter, so you decided to give it a shot. “I'll get to the others eventually.”
Dean offers you a lopsided grin full of pride. “Of course you will. You’re the best psychologist in Kansas.”
“And you're the best hunter worldwide.” You wink at him, getting on your tiptoes to peck his lips again. God, long hunts are the worst for your enamored heart. “Come on, baby boy. Let's get to bed.”
“I can't. I need to — ”
“No, you don't,” you interrupt him. Dean's a workaholic. He'd end up spending the whole night writing the perfect assignment before crashing out of exhaustion, but not tonight. You haven’t touched, felt, or seen your husband in two weeks. Huntercorps can wait. “You need to rest. Come with me?”
How can Dean say no to you? Especially when you look at him with those wide, loving doe eyes, the sweetest grin on your lips and your messy hair piled in a bun. You could ask him to set the house on fire, and he'd light himself to start the blaze.
Therefore, the Winchester allows you to take him to bed. Your hand clasps his wrist, pulling the man to your shared bedroom.
“Did I mention that you look gorgeous?” he asks suddenly, laying on the mattress with you by his side. Everything feels lighter like this, as if gravity was just a silly hoax that lovers defied.
“Nah, but you almost drooled there, so I took the hint,” you tease him with a smirk, finding amusement from Dean's blushing cheeks. Two years married and he still manages to pull off the same boyish charm you fell hard for. How were you supposed to overcome the high school crush effect when Dean looked like that? You glance down at his legs and scrunch up your nose. The green-eyed hunter probably isn’t very happy about his pants. “Awe, these were your favorite.”
He huffs. “That werewolf didn't care about it.”
“Come here.” You wrap your legs around his waist, pulling Dean closer. He nuzzles into your neck, inhaling the perfume he’d gifted you. “I missed you.”
“I missed you more,” Dean says under his breath before you push your pelvis against his. “Mhm… Y/N...”
“What did you say, baby boy?”
He's quick to correct himself, the pink on his cheeks increasing furiously. “Mommy.”
“That’s better. What do you want, Dean?” You run your fingers through his hair, quietly appreciating the whine that leaves Dean's slightly open lips as you move your clothed pussy against his semi-erect cock. You know he needs to ease up. That hunt took a lot on him. The bags under his eyes and flattened smiles are evidence of that. “What do you want?”
“I need to cum. Make me cum, mommy. Please.” He kisses your neck and tries to chase your hips with his, searching for more friction. His cock is quickly growing in his pants. Two weeks, he went two whole weeks without you, your touch, your care.
He’s touch-starved for your pussy.
“You're such a good sub, Dean. Of course, I'll let you come,” you tell him, but you aren't having this tonight. You want him to come like this, rubbing against you like an animal. You want him to experience your skin and how good he feels on your body before Dean actually fucks you like you both so desperately need. “But you need to do that in your clothes.”
He gasps, looking up at you. “B-but—”
“Dean, you were such a strong man. Come on, I know you can do it, honey. You went out of there and killed all the werewolf pack. You can do anything. I believe you.” Your praise flows freely, keenly aware of how much he loves this. Dean groans against your collarbone. “Humping me until you come. Can you do that for mommy?”
“Y-yes.” You move to lay on your back, and Dean hurries to put a leg around you, careful not to hurt you. His cock is fully awake now, pressing studiously to your waist through his ruined Levis.
It doesn't take a wasted second before Dean starts humping into your soft skin, The mere friction of his clothes against your heat covered by his old shirt are enough for now. He keeps thrusting as if this is your pussy, and he can feel the precum making a mess of his hardness and underwear.
“Good boy. You are doing so good, Dean. You look so handsome like that.” You bit your lower lip, fingertips finding a safe space on the back of Dean's mind, caressing there. It’s a lovely contrast to his rough thrusts. He's in despair for more touching; he needs you. “I can feel how hard you are for mommy, baby boy. I love you so much. Keep doing that.” He moans at this, not caring if he was loud or not. You love it when he's loud for you. Dean keeps fucking your pelvis, hard cock now on your stomach. He keeps rubbing against you while spreading kisses on each bare part of you that his lips are lucky enough to find. “You look so hot, baby.”
The hunter can't take it anymore. Dean gets on top of you, lifting your shirt between groans and moans. He humps your pussy restlessly, catching a glimpse of how wet you are for him.
It’s only for him. Dean kisses your forehead. It almost brings him a light-hearted feeling. There was some appropriateness of his rose-colored lenses burning red when both of you were like this because, yes, there's love, but there's also passion, need, and desire.
God, he just wants you.
Your attempts of keeping collected are thrown out of the window when Dean climbs on you. Your legs soon find their away around his waist, pulling him closer and moving your hips to gain relief. There is a bittersweet sensation of friction against your wet pussy, but that isn’t what it really craved: Dean's cock deep inside you. There was something about this delicious anticipation.
“C-can I come?” Dean asks amidst kissing your neck and dry humping. You nod, catching the corner of his lips.
“Of course you can come. Come for me, baby boy,” you say breathlessly. Dean pushes his lips to yours, tongues ultimately meeting in a passionate kiss that whispered everything your hips and words were saying before. He presses his hardness right onto your pussy, coming in his underwear. You can feel his cock twitching, eliciting a moan against his perfect lips as you find your liberation too.
Dean falls by your side, breathing erratic, before pulling you into his arms.
“I love you.”
You giggle at his revelation. His breath tickles your ears. “I love you too.”
Dean didn't get up to finish any report for the rest of the night.

Atsuhina; fluff fic. (Pt 1?)
Atsumu playing it off like he didn’t develop the biggest fucking crush on Hinata ever since the first day he saw him during Nationals, until he comes back from Brazil two years later and joins the black jackals, and really, he’s just helpless.
(So...my fingers slipped and this (which was based on this) turned into a pseudo-fic of Astumu falling in love with Hinata.)
((This is really just a fluff vomit.))
Atsumu’s first experience with a certain type of helplessness began with casual curiosity - completely unbidden, and later, deeply regretted: “And also...who is that?”. In the grand scheme of things, in other words his twenty-two years of living, that can be considered an extremely miniscule moment, inconsequential almost, but really, that was the last moment he’d been free from years of confused pining and emotions his brain and pea-sized emotional range could barely comprehend. What came after, was the first ever match he played against Karasuno, and boy, did that roundhouse-kick him down the rabbit hole of feelings™.
Now, Atsumu had rarely given thought to things as trivial as feelings before Hinata, in fact, he had rarely given thought to anything at all. His thoughts had mostly consisted of: volleyball, how good playing volleyball felt, how good being a setter felt, how hungry he felt and how he could possibly fast-forward time to the next time he played good volleyball. When anything other than volleyball and hunger had cross his mind, like feelings, he had taken them in stride - because he was god damn Miya Atsumu - worldwide hotshot, mr-steal-yo-girl-and-guy, mr-anybody-who-can’t-hit-my-sets-suck-that’s-all-there-is-to-it.
Exactly. Feelings were beneath him.
That is, until a certain ‘Shouyo-kun’ came along and hurled that routine cleanly out the window.
That single match in his second year of high school had engraved the memory of Hinata into his mind, and like an idiot who didn’t understand what crushing on someone big-time felt like, he’d declared, “Shouyo-kun, I’ll toss to ‘ya one of these days.” A little promise more to himself than Hinata perhaps.
Yeah well, that went well. The year following that, he’d spent much of his volleyball and non-volleyball time thinking about how mesmerizing Hinata and Kageyama’s play had been. He’d been impressed - and annoyed - by the sheer improvement Kageyama had made in a matter of weeks since the training camp. There was even a certain level of admiration involved. His thoughts in training often returned to the bar the freak-pair had set, and it wasn’t false to say that they inspired him to push his limits with Osamu further; faster, freer, wilder.
But then, his thoughts often wandered off to wondering what it’d be like to have Shouyo-kun as his partner too. (He couldn’t really help it. After nationals, thinking about volleyball had always led to thinking about Hinata, and he was always thinking about volleyball.) He thought that about how fun it would be to jerk his opponents around on court using the monster that was Hinata. He thought about how fun it would be to have to keep up with someone else other than Osamu for once; that maybe that over-energetic ball of sunshine would drag him way beyond his current limits as a setter too; maybe he would force him to play volleyball ‘till he was sick of it, just so he could feel the thrill of falling in love with it all over again. (Was that a little masochistic?) If it was even possible, Hinata made his love for good volleyball burn even brighter. His passion had touched him; he had captivated him.
Atsumu thought his heart raced every time he thought of Hinata because of the prospect of being able to play volleyball on a whole new level - the idiot.
But then Hinata had walked through the doors of the stadium for the Black Jackals tryouts three years later (after disappearing for two years and crushing Atsumu’s surprisingly fragile heart because he thought he’d never see Hinata again, causing him a lot of confused sleepless nights thinking about how he’d wished he’d gone to ask Hinata to play with him before he’d left) and you could say Atsumu had choked on his own breath. You could also say he was so stunned he’d frozen mid-step and dropped the ball he’d been tossing around, and froze for so long, Bokuto actually had enough time to bend in front him to ask if he had just been to Antartica. What would ‘ya have it, his spur of the moment declaration had proven true. He was going to toss to Hinata. Atsumu stared straight at the ground without looking up after that because his heart was beating abnormally fast and for some reason, he had lost control of his lips - he couldn’t stop them from pulling into a smile.
And my god, was it fun playing with Hinata. The months of training that followed after that fateful day made Atsumu feel as good as he had expected it to, even better in fact, because while he’d thought about all the new and experimental sets he would be able to make with Hinata, he hadn’t really thought about the wide smiles he would get in return for the good sets he made; or the excited high-fives they would have after each play; or the liberty he now had to bask in the warmth of Hinata’s body whenever he threw an arm over his shoulders and held him a little closer than he would have Bokuto or Sakusa (not that the latter ever let him close enough to really touch him at all).
It wasn’t just that too. Even if it wasn’t about his tosses, about how good it felt to have the little monster Hinata under his command, just watching him made his breath catch. How did anyone make him go crazy over volleyball more than he already did? Or maybe, he was just going crazy now.
Alright, so maybe he really liked the way “Atsumu-san” sounded from Hinata, and he almost always had an arm around his shoulders or waist when they were walking, and he called out “Shouyo” more than necessary just so Hinata would turn to meet his eyes in question with his head tilted, but that wasn’t really out of the ordinary for him. He was just more drawn to Hinata because he made his sets feel real good, and that made him feel good around him. Always.
Besides, lots of people were drawn to Hinata the same way he was. He was always surrounded by people - god knows where and how he became friends with all of them - and he was always laughing. They were always laughing because he was laughing. Even Sakusa tolerated his presence enough to take off his mask when he’s with him after training sometimes. And that’s exactly what Atsumu believed in, until Bokuto spoke up one day after practice when they’d been alone in the locker room.
“Man, for all the talk you have about us dancin’ to your tune, you sure are wrapped around Hinata’s little finger.”
Atsumu shrugged and continued packing his bag. “Well, Shouyo-kun is one scary little spiker.”
Bokuto shook his head. “Nah man, I’m not talkin’ about spiking. He’s got the ability to control the entire court to his liking if that’s what we’re talking about. I’m talking about you outside’a court.”
Atsumu’s face scrunched up in confusion. “Bo-kun, would’ja mind talkin’ with a little more sense? I don’t understand what’cha trying to say.”
“You see! That’s exactly what I mean!” Bokuto jumped up and pointed at Atsumu from the other side of the bench. “With all of us, you always talk like such a snotty brat, and you look like you want to die half the time-”
“-Ouch, okay dude, that kinda hurts-”
“-but when you talk to Hinata- no, scratch that. Even when you’re just looking at him, it’s like you’re seeing stars. You drop that snobby smile you’re always wearin’ and it turns all...uhhh...mushy! Then there’s also the way you’re always calling out to him, and you just sound like you really like saying his name; and the way you’re always staring whenever Hinata laughs even though you’re, like, across the room. And I mean, you’re always talking like you’re all that hot stuff, but sometimes, you have lapses of silence where you just sit and watch Hinata talk. Oh! And do I really need to talk about how he’s always hanging off your back when we’re resting in-”
“-OKAY. THAT’S ENOUGH!” Atsumu shouted, covering his face with his arms. “What are ‘ya, Bo-kun? A freak? Why do you know all that? Have ya been stalking me? And who said I did all that? There’s just no way I did all’a that. That’s so embarrassing. There’s no way I did all that.”
“You’ve repeated that twice now, Tsum-tsum!”
“...Just shut up, Bo-kun.”
“I didn’t stalk you. It’s been pretty obvious at trainings, and it’s been going on for months. Omi-kun thinks so too!”
“...Oh no.” How bad must it have been for Bokuto to be able to give him an in-depth run down on what a mess he’d been like? There was just no way. Miya Atsumu, the Miya Atsumu, national volleyball heart-throb, MSBY setter number 1, acting like an idiot in front of- of Shouyo-kun.
And why?
He paused to think about that, and memories flashed through his mind without much prompting: sunlit smiles; light, tinkling laughter; spontaneous high-fives; the warmth of Hinata’s chest against his back and his warm, breathy laughs against his ear whenever Hinata had been amused by what Atsumu scrolled through on instagram.
Well, damn. And as if the rate of his heartbeat wasn’t evidence enough, Bokuto’s following “Woah, bro. Your face is totally scarlet!” really drove home the understanding that Miya Atsumu was absolutely gone.
Here’s part 2!

Public access description
The Works of Geoffrey Chaucer published by the Kelmscott Press was the last great work of William Morris, and the icon of the private press movement, the printing revival he inspired. The volume contains 87 wood-cut illustrations by Edward Burne-Jones, who was a close friend of Morris. The Gothic-inspired type was specially designed by William Morris and named 'Chaucer' after this book. The book brought together Morris's passion for the medieval period and his commitment to beautiful hand-crafted productions and was published shortly before he died. 425 copies were printed, sold at £20 each.
This Kelmscott Chaucer had an undistinguished binding when acquired by the present owner, so that he felt justified in altering its condition. He selected Dominic Riley, a distinguished British designer bookbinder for the commission. Riley studied at the London College of Printing. He has won several major bookbinding awards, and was elected a Fellow of the Designer Bookbinders in 2008. He now works and teaches in Britain and the US.
The binder conceived the work as an overt homage to Morris, basing the design upon the mirror forms of his initials: ‘W M’. Several techniques were used (including modern digital methods to produce the stamps). The final work is grand and dignified, its geometric exactness relieved with touches of naturalistic ornamentation based on the book’s border decoration, and its use of the colour red echoes the red used for the rubrics in the text (based on medieval and Renaissance practice of highlighting headings in red ink).

2nd book I chose was the 2018 sketch book ( 2018 Sketch Collection) by South Korean Artist Kim Jung Gi I discovered his work on instagram a couple days ago and I loved the variety simplicity and the different style of his work so when i thought of an artist for this task I selected him :) https://www.kimjunggi.net/biography-v2/ https://www.kimjunggius.com/pages/about-artist
Korean artist Kim Jung Gi was born in 1975 in the town of Goyang-Si, located in the province of Kyongki-Do South Korea. At 19, this budding artist enrolled at a Fine Arts School, majoring in Art and Design. He attended Dong-Eui University in Busan for three years and did his two years in the South Korean army as a part of the Special Forces Unit. Here, he was able to memorize the array of different weapons and vehicles.
Kim’s most notable creative asset is his memory, something he has developed over a number of years. His ability to render extremely complicated scenes near-perfectly from memory, without the aid of references, has stretched the boundaries of what many artists believed was possible.
Kim Jung Gi’s first publication – Funny Funny – was published in Young Jump magazine. He wrote a number of short stories and held exhibitions for his work that led to his teaching manhwa (Korean comic book) to various private schools and universities. Kim collaborated with Seung-Jin Park, the writer of Tiger the Long Tail, to draw six volumes for his comic. Kim also worked alongside French author Bernard Werber, illustrating two novels he had written – “Paradise” in 2010 and “Third Humanity” in 2013.
In 2011, Kim Jung Gi partook in the Comic Festival held in Bucheon where, for the first time ever, he drew live. In most cases, artists showcase a framed drawing or painting, but KJG decided to do something different. He placed paper up on three walls around his table and began drawing.
Superani CEO Hyun Jin Kim videoed and posted the entire process on YouTube and, as some videos tend to do, went viral. This led to the invitation to different worldwide events. In recent years, he has accepted invitations to perform in France, America, all around Asia and now in Japan for his first show simply titled “Drawing Exhibition”.
Kim has six sketchbooks in print, which equate to about 4,500 pages’ worth of drawings in a span of 12 years. He also collaborated with the legendary Japanese artist Katsuya Terada in 2017. The pair put together an amazing sketchbook of various drawings, showing off their talents.
He’s worked in various industries – movies, music, and government. Kim put together a feature exhibition in Cheongwadae” the Republic of Korea’s president’s official workplace and residence. He was also hired by Korean Hip-Hop artist Drunken Tiger to create the album cover.
He holds the record for “Longest drawing by an individual” in the Guinness World Records book.

I like both works because to me they are quite similar william morris working on Chaucer is legendary in itself the level of attention to detail is extraordinary and the colour pallette is simple and the typography is grand and archaic in nature a level of excellence rarely seen nowadays.Kim’s work is highly skilled and varied a comic book style but still unique to him I love black and white simplicity as well as colour however I love the detail and excellence shown in both works. To me skill is important to do one’s best and show originality whilst doing so.Clarity, skill and originality are demonstrated here and that is why I was drawn to both artists.

Paramore- Ain’t it Fun
It’s crazy how a song can bring you back to a specific time in your life. Like a fragrant candle that your mom used to burn or the scent of a cologne your father would sport, that is how a great song can take you on a trip down memory lane. By now you're probably like what is she getting at here but let me further explain with three words: Ain’t it Fun. Paramore really hit home for many when they released this song. The Tennessee rock band formed in 2004, making music that appeased to many students like themselves at the time. Although they had many issues within the band (like all bands do) they became popular throughout the U.S and the U.K. Soon their fanbase would expand worldwide. After band members Josh and Zac Farro decided to leave the band, the group stumbled a bit causing Hayley Williams to branch out and create music outside the group. It was a bit of a success because a track she features on called “Airplanes” by B.O.B, did wonders chart-wise. That didn’t last however. The group rekindled their passion for rock with one another and attempted to make Paramore a thing again.
The redemption song starts off with the strategic set of drums paired with a xylophone. This seems to be the secret ingredient because not many popular songs incorporate this unique instrument. An electric guitar then comes in just in time for the break. See It's the little details that makes up the ingredients for a hit. We then hear Hayley’s soulful voice.
“I don’t mind letting you down easy but just give it time.”
youtube
If I were to categorize the intro based on my knowledge of music I would say it's definitely rock with a hint of pop. However, as the song progresses you can hear a bit of funk with the strum of the bass and a gospel influence towards the end. Skipping to the chorus, you get a soft edgy feel much like what Paramore is used to dishing out. It’s like they're saying, “hey fans we’re back and better than ever but we’re the same group you fell in love with.” According to hitsongsdeconstructed.com, “The outro functions as a “super payoff” for the listener by fusing all of the song’s key hooks, genres, and influences into one over-the-top section.” I couldn’t have said this any better. The outro gives us a fusion of rock, pop, funk, and gospel by syncing all the different sounds we hear throughout the song. This coupled with Hayley Williams' voice is what sends me into orbit every time.
I’m not sure about other people but I know for me, the lyrics of a song is what resonates with me the most. The song is titled “Ain’t it Fun” and while that sounds like a question, the band doesn’t add a question mark at the end. Now many might say that this was for aesthetic reasons but the literary nerd in me thinks that Paramore had a deeper intention with that. “You're not the big fish in the pond no more, you are what they’re feeding on.” As an adolescent, growing up you think you’ve got the world figured out and your parents and those above you are overreacting. It’s not until you're out on your own that you realize that it's not fun at all. And so Ain’t it fun “being all alone” is a rhetorical question that is intended for the listener to feel rather than answer. Now I’m sure someone with more insight in music can break this song down better than I did, but I really just wanted to share how the cultivation of a song can stick with a person. This song brings me back to health class when my teacher who was also a DJ would play it. Shout out to Mr. Jordan, the spunky guy with a keen sense of great music. I’m sure their fans were in the back of their minds when Paramore recorded this song. I say this because it seems like they were actually talking to me when I first heard this song. They knew what was needed to say and delivered it in the most musically creative way.

The Summer of 1932 was officially dwindling down to a close.
Well— it was what Divina had noted when her heels hit the ground of the sidewalk, looking out for any stray motorcycles and passing cars. Her red hair cascaded down the ends of her shoulders as some loose strands became tucked into her beige coat.
The first few bundles of leaves had fallen from the Hungarian Oak tree beneath Divina's feet. Though native to Great Britain, she had moved to Budapest as a teenager. Pursuing her studies and wanting to escape from the economic sanctions (which had now become a worldwide depression). Hungary was beautiful, it was quiet, it was full of interesting people and architecture and yet she stood in her coat, holding an entirely Hungarian newspaper between her fingertips walking to the door of her current job.
Almost time for autumn!
She was immediately met with an obnoxiously loud honk from an incoming bicycle, she laughed aloud and clasped her hands together immediately knowing it would be Aquaria Coady , the utter prideful future of the perfurmie.
Luckily enough to have inherited the last name (though she was born a Palandrani ) the name of the damn shop: Coady's, she was Mrs. Coady or Sharon's only true "child" for lack of a better term. She was truly just her legally and informally adopted child who she met on the street, looking for a job and a place to stay. It was a wonderful story, but Divina always felt that small twinge of jealousy knowing she could've just played up her own act more for an easier start to the job. It was a rocky economy and Aquaria was definitely lucky to have a job even if her dream was to be a formal clerk and not a delivery girl.
"Good morning."
"Good day!" Divina chirped, glancing aimlessly through the newspaper attempting to find even a speck of interesting news that didn't involve international affairs or the crippling economic debt. "How are you today? It's a beautiful morning." The platinum blonde said as the redhead could only grin out of the corner of her lips, it indeed was quite an unusually perfect morning weather wise.
A nice breeze but not too cold, the sun was bright enough for a picnic but definitely not enough of a heatwave to burn their skin as it did some of those early Summer afternoons.
"Very, now that you mention it. I see you've dressed all nice as usual." A laugh left her throat, lips pressing together, intrigued by how formal she had always appeared. "That's an awfully elegant outfit for a perfume shop."
Aquaria rolled her eyes and adjusted the hairs that hid behind her ear, "And why not? I represent my family, technically, I might as well look twice as good as you all do in your dress code." Divina cackled. She had to admit that all the color clashes weren’t exactly the most pleasing, she would've preferred company outfits but no— guess she had freedom of expression and had to use it.
Thank heavens the shop is beautiful and can distract these damn customers a good bunch.
"How many people have you run over today?"
The blonde shook her head and nervously gripped her own wrists, adjusting her jewelry, "Not one!" Yelling as she parked her bike before Divina shrugged, flipping a page in the newspaper.
"Well, it's early."
Aquaria tapped Divina on the back as their eyes met, the older Brit a bit confused by her antics before she began to whisper, "Here comes Ms. Zamolodchikova." The blonde walked calmly across the other side of the street before she joined the other two employees, wearing a cream colored dress with a mix of pink and beige floral patterns seeping through the design. There was a slight slit cut in the leg area: Katya always said, as a former dancer and a master of her own flexibility, she was beyond proud to show off her legs whenever she could.
"She spent the night with Ms. Honard again." Divina, unsurprised, could only sigh, not wanting to know exactly how she managed to find that one out. "You know, they always kiss at the newsstand and then she makes her way around another block so we think she's actually going home." Aquaria butted in, closing Divina's newspaper and holding her position of poise though her shoes tapped against the ground.
Swinging around her purse she grinned, looking completely entranced by the gorgeously clear skies. "Good morning!" The Russian called out to the lonesome girls who quickly looked up as if they hadn't just been gossiping about her confusingly puzzled love life.
"Good day!" They both replied instantaneously to the perfectly prim and proper looking woman.
Katya was quite the sweet girl when she wasn't busy being a mischievous "whore" as she liked to put it: she didn't even hide her affair with one of their fellow employees, it was all out in the open for everyone to hear though she always kept her good graces by being a passionate and dedicated employee, no one could deny her that. She was also great fun and the one Aquaria and Divina latched most to due to her down to earth ethic.
"Have you seen a lovelier morning?" Her lips curling into a smirk, beyond happy to see summer was beginning to disappear and change into winter. " Never! "
"Anyone mind if I take the day off?" Dreamingly sighing as she took her gloves off, stuffing them in her purse as she glanced over at Aquaria who patiently waited for their boss to arrive, "Aquaria!" The blonde suddenly jumped and stood in front of Katya, the Russian giggling.
"Why aren't you old enough to take me away from all this?"
"I am! I'm this close to being a clerk."
"Just end all the stress and marry me, then I can quit my job and suntan all day!" She started with her glowing blue eyes, desperately groaning.
"Well, I'm afraid you're not quite old enough are you?" Her stature still read teenager, the bicycle was definitely not helping her look any more mature or older.
"I'm catching up! Mrs. Edwards always said before she left that I'd get to be 35 before you ever did." Divina almost immediately punched her right in her shoulders, coughing and giving a maddening expression seeing Katya visibly holding back an offended expression.
"Ah, Mrs. Honard!" Divina lightened the conversation much to the delight of Katya who whipped her head around, looking for her business partner as if they hadn't just spent another lonesome night together filled with strained goodbyes, burnt cigarettes and millions of red lipstick marks across each other’s bare skin. The Russian turned and propped herself against the door, pretending to seem disinterested in her little love affair walking up to the establishment.
"Good morning on this radiant day." Alaska replied with a permanent grin drawn across her lipstick covered mouth, the bright red popping out against her light blonde hair that was pulled into a high ponytail— it hung comfortably as she adjusted her form fitting black and white suit: perfectly cleaned and tight. The blonde's gold and black came in place of her right hand as she urgently slammed it into the sidewalk.
"Good day." All three, including Katya chimed in with no surprise as the taller blonde walked over the giddy Russian girl who took her hand, "Good morning, my dear, you've never looked so beautiful." She gripped her fingertips and spun her once to see the dress in it's full glory. Katya could only place a hand on Alaska's shoulder, their other free hand interlocking.
"Thank you, how kind." She winked as Alaska mentioned what a marvelous dress she had managed to put on for today's work shift, though Aquaria quickly interjected: not very trusting of Alaska in general, especially with her complicated relationship concerning Katya.
"Same dress she had on just two days ago Ms. Honard."
Once again she was met with Divina hitting her in the shoulders, though she turned around and groaned. "What?" She whispered as Katya and Alaska leaned against the window pane, making idle conversation before the redhead clapped and waved, "Well, well if it isn't Ms. Couleé, early as always."
Shea was always the last one to arrive from the employees besides Mrs. Coady who had to come and open the shop anyway, no harm in spending an extra twenty minutes sleeping in knowing the routine schedule and opening. She ran her hands down her red suit, picking up her pace knowing that any moment would be when they'd have to begin the ever-changing shifts and work, the winter season would be upon them soon enough wouldn't it?"
She managed a bright smile for her friends at the perfume shop who had been waiting earlier than her she had suspected, "Good morning, isn't that a beautiful sky? Too nice of a day to be inside just counting change."
Katya clapped, in absolute agreement speaking up first, "Why don't we all just take a day off work?"
Divina snapped back rather quickly, "Leaving Mrs. Coady without a single clerk?" The Russian bit her lip and shrugged. All she wanted was to soak in that last bit of bright light and take the day to simply stroll around the town and across the bridge. Shea laughed, stuffing her hands in her pockets as she let the wind hit her face, her fingertips brushing through her straightened hair. It probably needed a cut, but she might as well wait until winter when the season would pick up business again.
The American laughed, "Another day, another time." She gently patted Katya's shoulder as she frowned, exhausted, Shea could only patiently await the time when Mrs. Coady would come and open the doors up, she had a new letter she urgently needed to share with Divina. She knew of her secret correspondence better than anyone else, and it was the best feeling for Shea to open the mail and know she had a letter from a Dear Friend.
A duo of two ladies walked across the street, glancing at the perfume and cold creams displayed in the glass, light from the sun still shining through as they walked down. The employees could only listen in on the conversation with impatience. One wearing an ensemble of purple, with thickly curled blonde hair and blue eyes as her gloves held a pearl clutch speaking to a taller and thinner brunette who's eyes shined across the street looking down at her blue velvet heels.
"Have you ever actually tried their cold creams?"
"I wonder if they're any good!"
"Good?" A voice spoke up, the employees quickly straightening themselves realizing it was Mrs.Coady. The blonde walked over the pair whom had been beyond amused to see the actual shop owner speaking to them about her own products. They spoke for a quick moment, her curls bouncing off her shoulders and black blazer as she looked at her workers and grinned, "Good day!" She fiddled with the key before opening the shop for duty.
Sharon passed everyone first to make it to her office unbothered, knowing her shop well enough to put it under Shea's watchful eye.
Shea and Alaska quickly ran off and grabbing the new shipments, unlocking the cabinets and putting their countertops together as Alaska begun setting up her work station that sat on the left, right near the door which was where Katya spent a great amount of her time: it was truly pure coincidence isn't it?
Aquaria grabbed some of the lavender scented perfume, carefully holding it as to not drop it— it was entirely made of glass perfectly colored in a sequence of pastel purple diamonds. She gently sprayed it around the shop and gave an extra spritz to Katya who always waved the perfume near herself and skipped into the fumes, to make sure it was on her wrists and neck.
The Russian raced to the door in her pink heels, opening the door with the bells and chimes perfectly echoing throughout the shop. Shea, Divina and Alaska all stood in front of their workplaces that now displayed a various array of products.
"Good afternoon Madam may I help you?"
Alaska spoke first, gently taking the hand of a brunette with long straight hair who was wearing a long red dress, her eyes brown: duly noted . The lady sitting on the chair immediately, beginning to go through her handwritten list of items she needed before the season began.
Divina and Shea took the two others, one each to their station as they began their work. Selling all the new items: the toilet water, the Mona Lisa creams, the Lily scented soap that they now had in the large size as well as a medium and small.
These were simply the sounds while selling.
The hours and minutes would be whisked away with more chimes, more sales and a hopeful increase in money: that meant they would all benefit at the end of the night. Budapest was slowly becoming more and more expensive with the influx of tourists growing.
It was about twenty minutes later the gaggle of ladies all stood up to walk out the door, bags bundled with card charges and early Christmas orders as well as physical gifts wrapped and ready with their paper bags sporting the signature cursive "C" stamp on the front in gold lettering. Katya opened the door as the chimes went off.
The three gathered at the front, bowing and extending their hands for the corporate goodbyes they had been taught from the moment they received the job.
"Thank you Madam, please call again, do call again: Madam!"
Katya shut the door before walking over to Alaska, leaning over her counter as the two began to ramble on, Shea turning disinterested and anxious to share what she had uncovered in the latest addition to her letters. "Divina!" She called over the British girl who put down her bag under one of the drawers, prancing over to Shea with a cackle.
"Yes?" Her arms outstretched around her shoulders.
"I got another letter today, from her. From Dear Friend!"
The letters had been going on for over four months now, it was everything Shea had lived for: they’d discussed meeting up soon indefinitely. She must've lived in Budapest if they had met from Shea's anonymous Lonely Hearts Club ad in the local newspaper. Whomever Dear Friend was, she hoped she didn't live up to Shea's exception because she was far too perfect, she sounded intelligent, a passionate young lady with all the talents and charm in the world.
"Oh really? Did she finally enclose a snapshot?"
Shea rolled her eyes and could only breathe out a gentle sigh of relief, opening the handwritten letter up for the two girls to read while the customers were gone.
"Listen to this!"
Clearing her throat she began reading the letter, imagining the person behind these impeccable replies and penmanship.
—
" Dear Friend,
Yesterday morning I ran through the rain to the office! I had the key in my hand, the key to Box 1433.
Trembling, I opened the door and reached inside.
And oh, dear friend, there you were! I took you out and held you in my land and looked at you for a moment.
Then I sat down, gently opened you and read you. "
—
Divina smiled hopeless, part of her was hoping that all this was true and indeed not some kind of setup, they had all heard the one in a million stories with the pen pal's meeting face to face and it not going entirely well: bodies ending up in the Danube.
"That is very well written, have you talked about finally meeting?"
Shea closed the letter and gently stuffed it in her suit's blazer pocket, exchanging a grin to the Brit who sat now on what was usually the customer's stool. "We have, she's working out the details and then we will absolutely meet! We have to, I'm getting impatient to say the least."
"I can tell, you're always vibrating and tapping your feet."
"Divina this is serious! What if she's everything I've ever wanted her to be?"
The redhead gave a confused gaze at her friend and fellow employee, "If she's as perfect as these letters are making her out to be than I think you are very lucky. If I wasn't married to Viv maybe I'd try my own luck." Shea had given at least a small chuckle at the mention of Divina's wife. "Well if anything ever happens, you know who to call to make your AD."
That signature Divina cackle left straight from her stomach as she clutched Shea's wrists and kicked her legs before clearing her throat and calming down rather quickly.
"I'll definitely let you know."
Shea turned towards her designated workstation and sighed, playing with the products. Aquaria had been sweeping the floors and underneath the stations, Shea moving it gently as to smooth along the process for the younger blonde. Daydreaming wasn't exactly recommend at her job but her entire head had been preoccupied with thoughts about her Dear Friend.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a door from the back open, Sharon quickly walking out and slamming it shut, holding an envelope between her fingertips. Blonde hair falling in her face though she quickly tucked it behind her ear.
"Shea!" She yelled, her dark brown eyes peered across her station as she quickly stepped down from the platform and walked towards her boss, a bit confused as work had barely even begun and already their boss had something to say.
"Yes Mrs. Coady?"
"Let's talk."

Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana-Perego (born Zoe Yadira Saldaña Nazario, June 19, 1978), known professionally as Zoe Saldana or Zoë Saldana, is an American actress and dancer. Following her performances with the theater group Faces, Saldana made her screen debut in an episode of Law & Order (1999). Her film career began a year later with Center Stage (2000), where she played a struggling ballet dancer, followed by a role in Crossroads (2002). Saldana's breakthrough came in 2009 with the roles of Nyota Uhura in Star Trek and Neytiri in James Cameron's Avatar (2009). The latter film received widespread acclaim, and is the highest-grossing film of all time. Saldana continued her career with films such as Colombiana (2011), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) Star Trek Beyond (2016) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017),
Early life
Saldana was born in Passaic, New Jersey. Her father, Aridio Saldaña, was Dominican, while her mother, Asalia Nazario, is Puerto Rican. Saldana also has Lebanese and Haitian roots. With regard to her racial identity, Saldana stated, "There's no one way to be black. I'm black the way I know how to be." She spent the majority of her early childhood growing up in Jackson Heights, New York. She was raised bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. She has two sisters, named Cisely and Mariel. Their father died in a car crash when Zoe was 9 years old, and their mother subsequently moved with the children to the Dominican Republic.
Saldana discovered her love of dance in the Dominican Republic and enrolled in the ECOS Espacio de Danza Academy; she studied various forms of dance but describes ballet as her first passion. She told Vanity Fair that she quit ballet because she did not have the feet and had too much pride and ambition to just be in the corps de ballet. The family returned to New York after her sophomore year in high school. In 1995, she began performing with the Faces theater group in Brooklyn, which put on plays geared toward providing positive messages for teens via themes dealing with issues such as substance abuse and adolescent sexuality. Concurrently, she performed with the New York Youth Theater; her appearance in their production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat led a talent agency to recruit her. Her previous dance training, and her acting experience, helped her land her first film role, playing talented and headstrong ballet student Eva Rodriguez in Center Stage (2000).
Career
Beginnings
Saldana was still a member of Faces when she gained exposure in an episode of Law & Order (titled "Merger") which first aired in 1999. Saldana's first film role was in Center Stage (2000), directed by Nicholas Hytner, about a group of young dancers from various backgrounds who enroll at the fictitious American Ballet Academy in New York City. She left school after Center Stage, subsequently appearing in the Britney Spears vehicle Crossroads (2002). The film was met with negative reviews from critics, but became somewhat of a box office success. The same year Saldana started in the comedy-drama Drumline (2002), alongside Nick Cannon, which was met with generally favorable reviews.
In Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), she played Anamaria, a female pirate who signs up to join Will Turner and Mr. Gibbs for a chance to confront Jack Sparrow for stealing her ship. As to why she never appeared in any further films in the franchise, Saldana revealed that she almost quit acting following "disrespectful treatment" on set of the film. She then appeared in The Terminal as Dolores Torres, an immigration officer and Star Trek fan, a role that would later help Saldana when she came to appear in J. J. Abrams' 2009 film Star Trek. In 2004 she also made appearances in Haven and Temptation, both of which had little to no box office success.
In 2005, Saldana appeared in Constellation, Guess Who with Ashton Kutcher, and Dirty Deeds. She then starred in the romantic comedy-dramas Premium in 2006 and After Sex in 2007. The same year Saldana starred in Blackout, a television film set in New York City during the Northeast Blackout of 2003. The film premiered at the 2007 Zurich Film Festival and debuted on BET in 2008. Saldana also had a small role as Angie Jones in the 2008 film Vantage Point.
Breakthrough
Saldana appeared in two high-profile roles in 2009, which both went on to raise her profile considerably. She played Nyota Uhura in the film reboot Star Trek. The film's director J. J. Abrams asked Saldana to play the role because he had seen and liked her previous work. Saldana had never seen the original series, though she had played a Trekkie in The Terminal (2004), but agreed to play the role after Abrams complimented her. She met with Nichelle Nichols, who explained to her how she had created Uhura's background and named the character. Saldana's mother was a Star Trek fan and sent her voicemails during filming, giving advice on the role. Steven Spielberg taught her the Vulcan salute five years earlier when he directed her in The Terminal. The film was a box office success grossing $385.7 million.
Saldana's second high-profile film in 2009 was James Cameron's Avatar, in which she starred as the alien hunter Neytiri. The film was premiered by 20th Century Fox in London on December 10, and was released in the United States and Canada on December 18, grossing $27 million on its opening day and $77 million during its opening weekend, ranking number one at the box office. Avatar grossed $2.7 billion worldwide, to become the highest-grossing film of all time, as well as in the United States and Canada. It also became the first film to gross more than $2 billion worldwide. Avatar was well-received and accumulated an approval rating of 83% on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. The film was nominated for ten Saturn Awards and won all ten at the 36th Saturn Awards ceremony. Saldana's Saturn Award for Best Actress win marked a rare occurrence for an all-CG character.
In 2010, Saldana starred in The Losers as Aisha al-Fadhil, a native Bolivian woman. For the role, she was required to gain weight, as she was expected to carry weapons around for eight hours a day. In 2010, she also appeared in Takers, Death at a Funeral and Burning Palms. Her television ad for Calvin Klein's "Envy" line also debuted in 2010. In 2011, Saldana starred in the romantic comedy The Heart Specialist and played Cataleya Restrepo, a professional assassin, in the crime drama Colombiana. While the latter film was met with negative reviews from critics, Saldana's performance was praised.
In 2012, she starred in the romantic drama film The Words, which also received negative reviews from critics and saw little success at the box office.
In 2013, Saldana reprised her role as Uhura in Star Trek Into Darkness, the sequel to the 2009 Star Trek. Like the previous film, it was a box office success ending its North American theatrical run with a box office total of $228,778,661, placing it as the 11th highest-grossing film for 2013. It also earned $467,365,246 worldwide, ranking it in 14th place for 2013 and making it the highest-grossing film of the franchise. Saldana also voiced her character in the 2013 release of the Star Trek video game.
In 2014, Saldana played Gamora in the hit film Guardians of the Galaxy. Saldana said that she became Gamora through make-up rather than computer generated imagery (CGI) or performance capture. The film became the third highest-grossing film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, behind The Avengers and Iron Man 3. It was the third highest-grossing 2014 film (behind Transformers: Age of Extinction and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies) and the highest-grossing superhero film of 2014. The film was met with positive reviews and Saldana was nominated for numerous awards including Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in an Action Movie, Favorite Action Movie Actress at the People's Choice Awards and Best On-Screen Transformation at the MTV Movie Awards.
In May 2014, she starred in Rosemary's Baby, a television miniseries adaptation of Ira Levin's best-selling horror novel. Saldana also co-produced the four-hour, two-part show. In 2014, Saldana was recognized by Elle magazine during The Women in Hollywood Awards, honoring women for their outstanding achievements in film, spanning all aspects of the motion picture industry, including acting, directing, and producing.
Saldana starred in Nina, an unauthorized biopic about the jazz musician Nina Simone, which was released in 2016. The film depicts the late singer's rise to fame and relationship with her manager Clifton Henderson. Simone's family has been critical of the decision to cast her in the role. Also in 2016, she co-starred in the science-fiction sequel Star Trek Beyond, which was released in July, and Ben Affleck's crime drama Live by Night, which was released in December.
2017-present
In 2017, she returned as Gamora in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which was released in May. Saldana will once again reprise her role as Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War and its "Untitled Sequel", which are both scheduled to be released in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
She is scheduled to play the role of Mrs. Mollé in I Kill Giants, Anders Walter's adaptation of Joe Kelly's graphic novel I Kill Giants. Shooting commenced in Ireland in September 2016.
Personal life
In June 2010, Saldana became engaged to her longtime boyfriend Keith Britton, an actor and the CEO of My Fashion Database. Saldana and Britton announced in November 2011 that they had ended their relationship after 11 years together.
In March 2013, Saldana began dating Italian artist Marco Perego. They secretly married in June 2013 in London. In July 2015, Saldana revealed that, in a reversal of tradition, Perego adopted her surname upon marriage. Thereafter, Zoe became Zoe Saldana-Perego and Marco became Marco Perego-Saldana. Their children will be Perego-Saldana. Saldana and Perego have three children together, twin sons Bowie and Cy (born 2014) and a third son Zen (born 2017). Saldana stated that her children will be bilingual as she and her husband plan to speak both Spanish and English around them.
In July 2016, during an interview with Net-a-Porter's The Edit, Saldana revealed that she has Hashimoto's thyroiditis, an autoimmune disease, along with her mother and sisters. To combat the effects of this disease, Saldana said she and her husband adhere to a gluten- and dairy-free diet.
In 2009, Saldana said she would avoid plastic surgery, telling Women's Health magazine "God as my witness, I am going to try to do everything I can to keep this ass together for as long as I possibly can—without going against nature." She watches what she eats but does not diet and does Pilates regularly saying "It's the closest thing to dance."
Saldana is a supporter of FINCA International, a microfinance organization.

Jeon Jungkook
PART 1
--- Fandom: BTS
--- Pairing: jungkook x reader
--- Genre: jungkook as your senior!; idol! au
--- Word count: 1.7k
--- Summary: You work as a receptionist for BigHit and you’re an aspiring idol so you train every day at an unused practice room in the building and one night Jungkook sees you practicing and thinks you’re a pretty decent dancer
--- Note: No offense intended to all music majors out there (you guys are awesome!!) and some of opinions below are taken from real life and do not reflect any of my perception towards those taking up a degree in music
MASTERLIST
It was difficult enough that you were working in an entertainment company, and yet those in the high-ups seemed to have no problem in making your life worse than it already is.
You had moved out of your parent’s house once you graduated high school, mainly due to their unwillingness to support you in your true passion – music. ‘It was a lost cause,’ your mother had mentioned, although your father strongly believed in the power of passion for something, yet he was also hesitant to support you towards achieving your dreams, claiming that there really wasn’t any permanent success in music, adding that those who pursued music lacked the brain cells to complete an actual degree.
To say that the journey was a struggle is a complete understatement, for you had barely gotten through each day of college. However, here you are now, working as a receptionist for the infamous entertainment company in Korea, especially after BTS’s rise to international fame – BigHit Entertainment. Being at the front desk wasn’t at all bad, if it weren’t for your seniors who treated you more of a personal assistant than a receptionist.
‘It’s okay,’ you thought. At least you were already one step closer to finally achieving your dreams – working at an entertainment company. You just had to work your way up, perhaps attend a few more voice and dance classes somewhere, and enter the annual auditions the company holds.
It wasn’t a surprise that they were going to make it worldwide, the Bangtan boys, - everyone in the company knew that. All seven boys were incredibly down to earth and were humbler than your sister who bragged about finishing a free gym trial where her boyfriend worked as a personal trainer.
You see the boys almost every day, always bowing their heads to other employees in greeting. Besides their notable politeness, not a single person in the building failed to notice their good looks.
These boys, who were recently dubbed as the most famous boy group in the world have undoubtedly looked like celebrities even before their rise to stardom.
Namjoon looks like every girl’s dream guy - smart, talented, tall, and fashionable. Jin was indisputably handsome from all angles, and you were almost jealous that he reached that level of drop-dead gorgeousness that he was even prettier than most girls you knew, including yourself.
Yoongi always had this sense of professionalism and it only takes one look at him and you could feel the passion he has for making music. Hoseok’s unmistakeably bright smile was too infectious for your own good, and you remembered how he greeted you with a wide smile on a bad day once, and never did you frown for the rest of the day.
Jimin looked like royalty walking among commoners like you, yet he had the heart and soul of a precious little boy. Fans aren’t mistaken of Taehyung’s virtually realistic facial features, and there were times when you wondered if he was an actual person or science has had another breakthrough and that was him. Finally, Jungkook…boy was this cutie quiet and shy…only with strangers. When he’s with his hyungs, his character does a complete 360 and you find yourself adoring his playfulness.
Your coworker, Hyeonji, snapped you out of your thoughts as she waved her hand in front of you. “Y/N, love, it’s time to go home.”
“Oh right. Thanks Hyeonji!” You waited until she finished arranging some of the files on your shared desk and you walked quietly to the bathroom and changed into your exercise clothes. This had been a daily routine for you, after you had befriended one of the housekeeping staff and told him of your dream to share your music to the world.
“My daughter had the same passion as you, Miss Y/N,” Mr. Moon said as he took a sip from the milk carton you offered him earlier. The 59-year-old man wiped a tear that fell on his cheek. “Whenever she listened to music, every time we came across a musical instrument, heck, anything related to it, you could see the passion burning in her eyes,” he paused for a moment, “I remember how she saved up for an electric piano the entire summer, and how she played beautiful pieces on the piano when she thought no one was around.” You smiled.
“She was as pretty as the music she played, Miss Y/N.”
“I would’ve loved to meet her, Mr. Moon. She sounds wonderful.”
Not one of you dared to share another painful memory as you spent the night talking about your lives. Mr. Moon decided that he would clean an old practice room last so you could have time to practice your dancing. You hugged him tightly that day, and he cried as he whispered, “If I couldn’t let my daughter’s dreams come true, I’ll try to help you reach yours then.”
You set your bags down by the mirror and connected your phone to the only speaker in the room. The room didn’t really look like one for practicing, since the building you had transferred to was still a few months old, and the walls still reeked of new cement and there was a small pool of water on the corner right under a leaking pipe. None of the trainees or the idols have used the room according to Mr. Moon but you didn’t mind – you still couldn’t afford to take extra classes for voice and dancing so the room would have to do.
The seven boys, exhausted after ten hours of practice for their comeback, walked tiredly towards their parked van. “Hyung, please I really need to pee!” Jungkook whined, clinging onto Hoseok’s arm. “Please, Kook, we literally live fifteen minutes away from the building. Can’t you just hold it in?”
“I’ve been holding it in for ten hours!” The rest of the group fell silent, somewhat guilty at the mention of the youngest one’s sentiments. It was true though – Jungkook had been asking for a short tiny break but they were afforded only a water break after each song and none of them were allowed to go out because the choreographer had to point out each mistake afterwards.
Their manager, Sejin spoke up, “First corner, turn left, you’ll see the toilet down the corridor.” Jungkook bowed slightly in gratitude and sprinted towards the door they exited from while the rest of the group went to the van and waited. The 20-year-old, also feeling guilty for losing his calm, wanted to waste no time because he knew they were all exhausted too, that was until he heard music playing from the door left ajar next to the toilet.
He paused for a moment – curiosity eating at him. Deciding that he needed to relieve himself first, he entered the toilet and listened to the music that came from the room you practiced in.
He thought about the song that faintly echoed throughout the room and why it sounded so familiar so he took a peek inside. He figured he had come across the song when he was searching for choreographies from a Youtube channel. He saw you dancing to Beyoncé’s Upgrade U and thought that you were a pretty decent dancer, not exactly qualified for a professional but a few more polishing would’ve done the job.
He figured if he watched longer his hyungs would lose it and that you’d actually catch him watching you so he turned his back and sprinted back to the parking lot.
“What took you so long? And why are you smiling like that?” Jimin whispered, not wanting the rest of the group that had fallen asleep.
“Nothing,” Jungkook answered and hummed to Beyoncé.
