FINALLY DONE!!!! ive been working on this piece for who even knows how long (since feb 1) but ITS DONE NOW. it was gonna be a valentines day piece but i spent so long on it that valentines day just flew by!! so here it is as my “Acanthe’s 1 Year Anniversary” piece

i think i had the most fun drawing shu’s hair and just.. shu. i <3 him.

however i think i used too many colors in this drawing.. the next one ill try a more limited color palette..

One of my favorite tropes is extreme restraints. Like when whumpee clearly isn’t going anywhere yet whumper uses entire rolls of duct tape to keep them trapped

Anon you're speaking my language, I adore this trope. I also love it with supernatural whumpees who aren't going to hurt anyone but are treated as dangerous, restrained with heavy chains, locked in a specially made cell... And it's fun for some self-loathing from a whumpee, if the whumper thinks so much more highly of them than they do of themself. They're painfully aware that even if they weren't restrained like this, they wouldn't be able to escape.

🌟 y'know what, actually, I think Tom should get to regress too, after what happened to his dad, and he probably had to grow up quick to take care of his mom afterwards, so he didn't get to enjoy being a kid much

🌟and Matt would be such a sweet caregiver for him, Tom's the only one he likes anyway, and he's the only one that knows all about what happened (the others have some ideas but not much)

🌟 he could comfort him through meltdowns and ease him into little space to help prevent panic attacks, and he's definitely tall and strong enough to carry him if he wanted which I don't know if Tom would want but it's nice to know it's an option

🌟 Tom would probably regress to pretty young, like 1-2,maybe even younger if he was especially exhausted or triggered

🌟 he'd be almost completely non verbal other than little things like "yeah..." And "ok" and stuff, very small things, not much babbling

🌟 I think he'd be very calm, super duper sleepy, very sensitive
