Miami's Trivia

She has a photographic memory; she just forgets she has it most of the time. She'll remember random things in incredible detail, but everyone’ll just look at her like she’s crazy.

She is actually terrible at flirting, always has been, but she taught herself how to flirt using YouTube, and fanfiction. (I will neither confirm nor deny that this is me. If you have any tips though, use the comments.)

When she was a kid, she absolutely hated dresses.

She's been dancing since she was like, as a way to try and control what's going on with (Redacted) but now she uses it as a form of therapy.

Miami actually started playing guitar before Aaron did, and started teaching him how to play. The difference is Aaron kept playing while she started dancing instead.

Melissa shipped her sister with Garroth as soon as she saw how he looked at her.

The only time Miami is a shipper, is when it's Aarmau, or Travlyn.

She was the literal last one to pick up on Zane~Chan though.

Aphmau would only consider going to Kawaii~Chan levels of shipping when it comes to Garroth and Miami.

Miami's first reaction when seeing Garroth was to run away. PDH season 1, first time girl sees him, she ran.

Garroth's first reaction when noticing Miami was spitting out his food. To this day, neither of them know why this was their first reaction.

Miami went to Prom her Freshman, Junior, and Senior Year, and despite going to prom being like, a bragging right for her as a freshman, she only actually enjoyed Junior and Senior Prom.

Her original design had her having eyes that glowed yellow, but I switched to Dark Blue because of (Redacted)

Miami had to live with her brother because (Redacted) in season one.

Miami's favorite stuffed animal was a bunny with a blue sweater, and his name was Choco. She hasn’t seen Choco in a very, very long time.

i think you can be as critical about the venezuelan opposition and maría corina and edmundo as you want but arent venezuelans allowed to choose for themselves even if the options arent perfect? are you willing to justify electoral fraud and police brutality, class inequality, bad management of resources, lack of maintenance of the country, breach of the law, lack of investment in health services and education etc etc just because the person doing it is someone you like or because you don't like the other option? are people at fault for wanting something different?

Because, in case you hadn't noticed, the fucking handcuffs are entirely visible in this shot. And not only that, they are blurred at first and then the camera, like, focuses on them a little? Or at least makes the background less blurry??

The fucking visual storytelling of having the shot focus on the rope, on Pete's hand offering the rope, then on Vegas taking hold of the rope - accepting the rope, accepting the willing submission that Pete is offering - while also having THE PREVIOUS FORM OF BONDAGE VISIBLE. BEHIND HIM. Behind him because this is new, behind him because their relationship is taking a new shape, behind him because he's let Pete free to choose and he chose him, he CHOSE HIM, HE CHOSE THIS. Yep. I think she drowned her once, then Leopardstar lunges up refreshed, and she gets the upper paw on Mistyfoot with 2 lives to go.

(MAYBE tw gore, but I really did try to be tasteful about a head being smashed on a rock.)

On her back, splashing and thrashing furiously against Leopardstar's claws dunking her head under, Mistyfoot glimpses a wave breaking just over the tip of a stone-blue rock. Her only chance.

With a surge of power, her claws sink into her leader's golden shoulder and they tumble and roll to the right. Before the tyrant even realizes what's happening, she's yanked up, and then whipped backwards with a wet CRUNCH

And then again

And again

And again, until Mistyfoot can't even make out what's left of her leader anymore. All she can see is that it's a red, brown, and yellow blur, because her eyes burning with salty tears and her whole body is trembling.

She drops the corpse onto the stone and it slides into the water, lifelessly. After a moment it spasms aimlessly one last time, like an insect does after its head is bitten off, unlike the deliberate, agonized throes of Tigerstar suffering through his doomed lives. And then it's still.

There's only the tranquil sound of bubbling water, and Mistyfoot's frenzied panting. Her pounding heart makes it hard to hear either.

The blood is carried off by the shallow water in scarlet swirls, but the lake runs pale red as if it's washing it away. Some were aware of this prophecy, but Mistyfoot was not.

It isn't closure to her, or a fulfillment of divine decree. It's just blood that should be on her paws, slicked away by the complicit river. She wished it could feel like it's over, but she's smart enough to know the truth. Has been through enough terrible events like this to understand what comes next.

Her body will move foward. Her mind will need to consider her deputy. Her paw will come down on code-defying cats like Blackclaw and Greenflower. But her heart will stay here, next to the remains of Leopardstar, the same way another piece of it remains at Stonefur's side across space and time.

we don’t address enough the fact that Annabeth and Leo both know Morse code. and Leo taps out “I love you” in Morse code constantly. To the entire rest of the Argo 2 crew Leo is just randomly tapping all the time but Annabeth can tell exactly what he’s tapping, and knows that he knows what he’s tapping out too. That must be so confusing to her since Leo doesn’t talk about his past ever. From her perspective he’s just constantly saying “I love you” to everything? nothing? Unclear.
