She is adorableeeee but she is also fuerce, loyal to her friends, level headed, strong, could throw a car at you easily, SHE IS A PSYCHIC, loves cooking and fashion, SHE IS PINK, she ROCKS every outfit ever, she always looks out for her friends, knows kickboxing, can f i n a l l y turn into a super form, can summon infinite amount of hammers, can turn invisible, would kill and die for her loved ones, she is the reason Shadow remembered María's wish in sonic adventure 2 therefore saving earth, has a girlfriend in the speedway comics (not canon but it is to me dammit), she makes me happy and fuzzy in the inside, banger design, loved by everyone who meets her (who isn't a villian lol, but even then there's her interaction with metal sonic in the sonic mania Christmas special), an absolute joy to be around, not afraid of being a girly girl and so much moreeeeee waaa I love her character so muchhhhhh

If you're one of those ppl who call her a stalker literally fuck off I will block you. She is not a stalker, her character was written to be a fangirl who follows her crush around, is not like she traces his every movement. She already grew out of it. I will not have this discussion with anyone I will just block you if you try to start shit. She is a very important character to me and I'm allowed to like her even if you don't. Also for the love of god STOP comparing her with Sakura (naruto) they could not be more different.

ofc i’m extremely happy ppl are reading and enjoying Fallen Star so i hope they don’t take this the wrong way…but it lowkey seems like a lot of ppl don’t care about character/plot development. they just want to cut straight to jake falling in love with yn immediately just bc he rooted her lol. give my guy a chance to at least get to know yn first pls, like he didn’t even know she had a sick brother until her coworkers told him lmao.

ofc i can definitely understand ppl getting excited and maybe overthinking jake’s behaviour towards yn. it’s a jake fic, so ofc he’s going to develop feelings for her as the series progresses. however, so far there’s been so many important details that ppl have glossed over or haven’t questioned about jake and yn’s characters. for example, why yn immediately assumes jake only paid for niki’s hospital fees bc he wants her body, and her inner monologue about believing she’s just a body to be used. or why jake even wanted to pay niki’s hospital fees. or what relevance niki’s chronic illness and backstory even has to the series. or what jake meant when he promised jay that “it’s not like before” when they talked about his hands. or why jay and jennie never told yn about jake’s ocd symptoms. or even wondering about jake’s past in the band and why he told soojin he can’t pick up a guitar without thinking of “her”. or how all of these examples are even relevant to jake and yn’s relationship yk.

i know i’m probs getting too in my head about it, but there’s just so much more to the series than purely: blunt boss jake roots assistant yn, they bicker, he gets jealous and realised he’s in love, they confess, the end. also tbh in what world do ppl immediately become whipped for their annoying assistant/root, without getting to know them a bit first lmao??? especially when they’re closed off and logical like jake or emotionally all over the place like yn imo.

again i hope ppl don’t take this the wrong way, as i’m so grateful ppl are reading the series bc Angie is such a talented writer. but i think that’s exactly my point, that it just gets a bit disheartening sometimes seeing the interactions be solely either 1. jake’s supposed feelings for yn that so far haven’t actually been shown or 2. him supposedly being an asshole just bc he’s blunt and logical, when realistically yn has actually lowkey been the asshole for not respecting his boundaries and her tendency to assume the worst of him.

i know i sound like i have a stick up my ass but i just wish more ppl paid attention to how much time and effort Angie spends bringing this series to life and that if she wanted to create just a typical boss roots assistant then gets jealous and falls in love fic, then she wouldn’t have gone to all the trouble of including so much detail about the characters and storylines. she’s also way too nice of a person to say any of this and i know i can come off as blunt or rude without meaning to sometimes, so again pls don’t take this the wrong way. i just wanted to be the sacrificial lamb, share what we’ve been thinking lately and some perspective of Angie’s incredibly detailed efforts. ofc we’re also open to constructive feedback or if you just feel like telling me to stfu and get over it then that’s fine too lmao. anyways love you all sm regardless and thank you for enjoying Fallen Star🖤

i do appreciate you speaking out you said everything that ive been thinking and going through internally better than i ever could, i’ve been struggling with speaking out without being misunderstood or sounding ungrateful yet thats not how i feel at all. i am grateful for every single person that reads a word from me however it’s unmotivating and disheartening when i work so hard on smth (like fallen star) and work so hard on details and building characters yet none of it seem to be acknowledged let alone appreciated.

I'm glad to hear that, Sir Alec. That does seem to be the case, perhaps we are all just getting accustomed to the vacation time and putting off writing for a moment. It's not so bad in some cases since it would help with potential burnout for some.

I look forward to many more of your fics and drabbles, Sir Alec. Personally I have yet to try my hand at any heavy or taboo subjects but mayhaps when the time's right (and after some research) I'll divulge into them.

[Part 3] So much went though Alicia's mind from the start until the untimely death of Gabriel, according to her entries. Some even highlighted other matters that had yet to come to light. Although there are some parts that have yet to connect and make sense, I think the ending will be an eye opener for sure.

[Part 4] There's something so intriguing in seeing how Christian is desperately grasping at straws to keep things hidden under wraps. Theo seems to have much on his plate with Kathy aside form his 'need' to fix Alicia, still it's saddening.

Alas, more and more unfolds, Alicia truly did suffer much in her early years. it's no wonder she's had such a twisted perception with certain matters, no thanks to her father.

I think Theo's being somewhat careless with how much he shared with Alicia, with how she is practically in charge of how their sessions go it isn't a very good choice to divulge too much.In some instances, i think Theo and Alicia are more alike, as if they were cut from the same cloth. They both have subtle manipulative tendencies from the looks of it.

[Part 5] Can't say it was out of the picture but in retrospect it was likely. Quite the riveting end that was.In conclusion this book was really a page tuner, many things keep you on the edge of your seat until the last few chapters where everything start to fall into place. Now it is quite obvious who the man was.

jay: have loved him ever since his debut. i thought he was a bit rough around the edges when he first got thrown into all these high profile matchups, but thats only natural lol he was literally a child. i think lots of ppl perked up tho after him vs kenny in sapporo. i was a bit disappointed they didnt do more with the history between him and hanger, kenny and ibushi for wembley but there was a lot of negative stuff going on at the time so w/e.

i love him a lot but id have to say that i have cooled down on him a bit cause im not watching aew rn and there really isnt any other way to perceive him, sadly. i know the gang gang scissor ass bang or whatever is immensely popular and i did like some of the stuff i was sent by friends but i gotta say im a little bit over it just by consuming from afar lol so next i would love for him to get into a grimy nasty t i g h t feud with someone swerve someone and really bring back the rat (like during the time he was chasing after ibushi like he wanted him to [redacted] him sm that [redacted])

hes still for some reason kinda an underrated wrestler who does lots of small things in the ring i appreciate but that dont necessarily stand out so ppl dont really pick up on it a lot. hes not very flashy, i suppose (in the in-ring sense; hes very loud otherwise lol). i think he really stepped up like kenny said and grew into his own, and thats not as easy to do as ppl sometimes say it is. i hold a lot of his matches in high regard, especially him vs ibushi g1 finals, that match is immortal to me and one of my fav matches of all time, ever.

julia: i was extremely meh on her when she started out, the cheerleading stuff just didnt appeal to me even if i can agree that its athletically impressive. whoever trained her tho did a really good job, there are a lot of areas that you can tell she really did her homework in and improved a lot. i think joining hob was the best thing that could ever have happened to her. i said this before somewhere else but i absolutely do NOT get what anyone (tk cough) was smoking to say she shouldve stayed with the varsity blondes, that wouldve been the death of her character 💀 i love her father daughter relationship with the hob guys out of kayfabe and in kayfabe she has some of the coolest gear and entrances.

i really liked her match against kris for the title and i wish it couldve been a little bit longer but i still felt they did everything in their power to get over in those 8? 9? minutes. julias turnbuckle jumpscare is probably my favorite thing about her.

other than that i sadly dont have much of an opinion on her bc, again, i dont watch aew, so if shes done something cool lately sorry folks 🤷 (i did see her gay entrance with skye? iirc, so that was 👌)

finally had the time to sit down and read the past couple of chapters of slwy and sweet lord jesus christ i kinda dont even know what to say . it's so bizarre to think about how many things happened to hyunjin and yn, how far they've come and how apart they seem to be at the same time. i was kinda in awe while reading the smut scenes bc i couldn't really process what was happening KSKSKSKAK i kept thinking back to how shy and careful they used to be around each other and 🥹🥹 i just love them sm.

and i cant really get mad at hyunjin either tbh. i Do think he should be more mindful of yns feelings, he's definitely leading her on and kinda just using her in a way, but he has SO MUCH going on and we know how hard it is for him and how much he loves her and omg i just :((( their whole situation is so heartbreaking. wish i could put a therapy session in a box put a pretty bow on it and give it to hyunjin 💔💔💔

also im really loving the new characters!! everyone's being so nice to yn and she deserves it🥹🥹 made me realize how often she walked on eggshells around Everyone in her hometown lmfao im glad she's finding better company

Rewatching Jordan Peele's twilight zone.........and uguguhu who wants to DISCUSSS 😤

I liked the new series sm as a whole I think they did a great effort at capturing aspects of TZ while doing their own thing which I definitely appreciate. Nightmare at 30,000, 6 degrees, and you may also like were an awesome direct nod to og episodes, but....

I do feel like there are some holes that could've benefited from longer episodes or just editing plot-wise. Though overall I love it it does feel lacking to me over certain things, a lot of endings felt lackluster and didn't give justice to the insensity and performance some of these ppl gave. like A Traveler was awesome but I feel like it needed a different exposition or ending, and you may also like was close but it relied a lot of being referential to previous aliens and I feel like the direct conversation w the queen was less impact full than the main character analyzing her own reasons why she would want the egg. Even 8 had the issue of being too much "tell" in something that should be illustrated and fleshed out. 8 was frustrating because I was kinda writing my own plot while watching and the way it ended was just NOT good sorry. I wanted to like that ep so bad but I feel like they circle around important key themes without actually or entirely expressing them in a way that is effective. I feel like there is too much handed to you in certain episodes and you have full arms and are sifting through some irrelevant visuals, red herrings, and unfinished plot points.

Obvi Wunderkind is a simple chefs kiss imo I think this captured old tz pretty well in the buyers remorse vibe although i wish they fleshed out the societal implifications of olivers rule. Also, Meet in the middle was v well done as well it was so nice to see that actor do a more serious roll.

Try try hit me rlly hard and in a way is my favorite among w Nightmare and 6 degrees. I think Try was a fantastic allegory for male entitlment and the way certain men are allowed to repeat and repeat the same violent and predatory behavior while hiding behind accepted societal conventions (being "charming", "unassuming white guy", "nice enough") without accountability. I loved the resolution and how even one time, her seeing him for who he is and defending herself gets him to stop, it's almost like complacency is the fuel for the predatory (!). That's an episode that would've saved my life had it come out when I was younger.

I didn't like "small town" because I feel like it missed a lot of ways that it could've been an impact full episode but it felt v rushed and poorly put together towards the end. I wanted to like the "comedian" and "ovation" (i will say the ending was good I just don't think he path taken was what it could've been) but it felt very expected.

i am emotionally attached to him and want to give him a big hug

hes just a kinda goofy kid and is maybe a bit not good with figuring out hey this is a semi dangerous situation maybe i shouldnt be taunting him (leaky eye luca for example)

has the actual best theme

i love how he works off the rest of the team so well (even w members who do not like him)

the fucking way his character develops from licky man to best dad material is my favorite thing

his outfit is so so so good i would die to wear it

in general this man is one of my fave jojos characters and i get a lot of comfort from him

hes just really neat and has a good taste in music

he did his fucking best and i will always love him for that

imo the way that his death was drawn out was genuinely one of the most heartbreaking deaths in the entire series and fucks me up each time i think of it

i feel like he really is the one to hold the team together in a way that everyone feels cared for and saved

his vibes r good but i wish we got to see his hair

the fandom interpretation is normally pretty good of him overall?

despite not loving him a lot, i really enjoying writing for him (one day might open up headcanon requests or smth but unsure)

Blorbo (absolute fav): I really wanna say Taka bc he’s been my fav since I was in high school, I love him so much and will love him forever (a big part of the reason just being that I related to him a lot, I was like, high perfectionist and my feelings were always kinda hurt when ppl said they didn’t like him bc he was too sensitive or was a crybaby bc I I’ve always been a HUGE crybaby) but ngl the real estate in my head lately has been going a lot more to other characters like Sayaka and Mukuro. He’s still THEE character of all time tho.

Scrunkly (my baby): I wanna say Taka again but also Chihiro for sure? Chihiro’s just a sweetheart I love her

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/under-appreciated fav): probably Leon! A lot of ppl forget abt him since he’s a ch 1 death & u don’t rly get to know him but he’s great, actually! I used to rly write him off but I actually think he’s really interesting and nuanced! I get that bc the game doesn’t incentivize you to get to know him a lot of ppl just write him off as like oh he’s just like a womanizer and a loser (or lump him in with like—canonical dork ass loser full on CREEPS when he’s like, kinda just a regular ass guy?) but the way his character is actually a really compelling foil for Sayaka is really really interesting to me. Also, ppl are just, weird abt his trauma & im defensive abt him because of my own reasons & I’ll just leave it at that.

glup shitto (obscure fav): a lot of ppl would probably disagree on whether this even counts bc she gets more content later on. But Mukuro. Like, Mukuro FOR SURE, I love her so much. even the content we do get it’s relatively sparse in comparison to the others so when she shows up I get SO excited, I’ve been wanting real sprites of her not in disguise forever & it just never happens :((((. Also this technically doesn’t count bc it’s sdr2 but imposter, I love them sm….

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): Haha depending on what this means probably either Hagakure or Sayaka. Sayaka is definitely more on the “problematic” side as opposed to pathetic. like I don’t think she is at least not any more than the rest of the characters but I do think ppl are like, weird abt her more than normal. She’s a mess but like. She’s my mess. Absolute beloved. But Hagakure is THEE poor little meow meow of all time I love him sm he’s so pathetic and offputting and in canon his personality does kinda suck but I love that he sucks, I can’t help it. He wants makoto’s organs and I’d let him have them. I just think he’s the funniest little guy ever. And ppl hate him for being useless and never contributing anything but I’m a Hagakure apologist so sucks to suck everyone who wishes he didn’t survive, if Hagakure sucks why does he keep winning lol

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason): probably Togami. I just love to put him Through It bc he sucks but he sucks in a way I find hilarious. I bully him but I mostly just bully him with love. Leon is another character too I tend to horse plinko the shit out of not necessarily for the same reason as Togami (aka thinking he deserves some lighthearted chirping from his classmates to build moral character and humble him a little), like Leon I don’t have a reason why I’m mean to him. There’s nothing wrong w him I just think it’s funny when he’s sad. I’m the number one fan of the LeoSaya high profile miserable celebrity couple to sad pathetic divorcees pipeline for them. I am championing sad divorcee Leon so hard, the inner Junko in me comes out so much when I think abt him bc I just think his quarter life crisis would have been so funny, I’m so disappointed Junko didn’t draw things out longer bc I think she could’ve gotten way more long term misery out of everyone if she’d kept them alive

The funniest thing about june teasing katara and zuko about being a couple is that she just sees a pretty girl and an attractive guy, both looking almost the same age which immediately makes her go "you two must be a couple" and it just reminds me of zvtara shippers, you know what i mean? I'm convinced one of the reasons a lot of ppl ship them is bc of their looks. katara being the female protagonist and also a pretty, smart and powerful girl & zuko, despite not being the male protagonist, being the most attractive guy in the gaang. Boom, a "bomb ass ship". It is worth to recall that "people ship zutara bc they projected onto katara and had a crush on zuko". And if they say they don't ship them for that reason, then it's bc they read too much between the lines in every interaction they have. So, back to june, she didn't even care if they had chemistry or if they were friends or anything, she just straight up teased them about being a couple lmao. Because in all honesty zvtara can be an appealing ship in anyone's eyes but THAT'S IT, it doesn't go further than that. I can be testimony of that😅Before even watching the show i was like june, one day i saw a zk fanart and was like "wow aren't those zuko and katara from atla? They look so good, she's gorgeous and he's hot" i already knew kataang was endgame and that mai was zuko's love interest but seeing zuko and katara together was pleasing to my eyes. However once i watched the show for the first time (2 months ago i think) i realized there was really no romantic chemistry between them, nothing, literally nothing, i mean, i wasn't even waiting for the zvtara content in the show that made ppl ship them so much, i was actually very neutral about ships, i couldn't care less about them, but i still realized nothing was happenig between them and that it was obvious since book 1 ep 1 that kataang was endgame. Zuko and katara were two teenagers from opposite sides of a war that tried to kill each other multiple times and when zuko changed sides they developed a completely platonic relationship. As i said, people either ship them because it's an appealing and aesthetically pleasing ship (water/fire, enemies to lovers, opposites attract, the common red & blue ship) or they just love reading too much between the lines, OR BOTH, because they were so thirsty about it they ended up convincing themselves there was romantic tension between them, that they liked each other and that zvtara was scrapped when it was never planned in the first place. Not to mention the reasons why they claim zvtara should've been endgame are based only on symbolism and things they have in common that are just so ??? Random. e.g. (i saw these on a post on facebook and the comment section was hilarious, it was full of ppl being sarcastic about it & making fun of it) saying they should've been canon bc:

1. "They both lost their mothers at a young age" (?)

2. "katara was good but had rage in her heart and zuko was bad but had good in his heart so it was like yin and yang, and that was the main purpose/topic of the show" (?)

3. "they both had alter egos (painted lady and blue spirit)" (???) this one sounds like saying maiko was canon bc zuko worked in a tea shop and mai worked in a flower shop😂

4. "Zuko was the only one who supported katara in taking revenge on her mom's assassin" (?) if you ask me, that just proves zuko is not right for katara, he led her to do something she was gonna regret later (not trying to hate on zuko, i love him, and since i love him i acknowledge his flaws. I understand why he thought it was the best thing to do, he's an impulsive and resentful boy (he would've done the same if it was his mom) and he noticed how thirsty katara was for revenge, ofc he wanted to help her + he wanted her to accept him and thought it was the right thing to do in order to gain her trust, but it wasn't) unlike zuko, aang tried to make katara come to her senses and do the thing that was best for her: forgive and let go, and it was basically what she did at the end. She didn't do what zuko expected her to do. She did what aang expected her to do. She didn't forgive her mom's assassin, but she forgave zuko, and she didn't do THAT thing she (and aang) knew would regret later. Aang knew katara and what was the best thing for her to do.

5. and the most ridiculous one, "they both saved each other's lives in the final agni kai"(???????) and the funniest part is that it was followed by "WHAT MORE PROOFS DO YOU WANT???". Honestly wtf did ppl expect? Did they expect zuko to stand there and watch katara die? Did they expect katara to just stand there and watch zuko lay on the floor & die? And this has been said a million times and i am going to join and say it once again: zuko would've done that for ANYONE from the gaang, he would've done the same for toph, sokka, suki and aang. Because he learned to care about them. As for katara, she would've done that for anyone too wtf she healed aang once too and even brought him back to life. (I wouldn't be surprised if zk shippers used that as a parallel for romantic zvtara proof bc they're just like that💀)

There were more "reasons" but they're just so stupid and taken out of context like "they care for each other" & "katara was the one who encouraged him to talk to his uncle" like yeah that's what friends do. Basically all zvtara shippers do is REACH.

Also, i just can't see it happening. I like the enemies to lovers trope, maybe if the writers really intended to make it canon, i would have been down for the ship, it would've been interesting to see how it developed, but,, they didn't, and later i came to the realization that if it would've really happened, it would've been so... weird. Time to bring up the "colonized and colonizer ship" and how some ppl feel uncomfortable about it. Besides the fact that a relationship between zuko and katara wouldn't have worked (they're incompatible af, katara is a girl with a strong character and zuko is a guy with anger issues that takes everything personal, they'd be at each other's throats 99% of the time) it's just weird to think that katara would choose to marry a man from the fire nation, the nation that caused a big war that traumatized her, the nation that took her mother away from her. Imagine katara ruling along with zuko a nation she despised for years. Fire lady katara doesn't sit right with me, and i'm sure it doesn't sit right with a lot of ppl as well. I don't see katara doing that, and yes, i know she forgave zuko, but still, she would've never done that 🤦🏽‍♀️ i think it would've been so OOC tbh.

Another thing i laugh my ass off at is when they say "zuko should've chosen katara instead of mai" as if they were ever in a relationship for zuko to say "ok imma choose katara i wanna be with her". As if katara was EVER an option for him. They never showed interest in each other, what's not clicking?????? And zuko only had eyes for mai, not to mention that despite zuko and mai had a rough relationship, no girl would've dealed with zuko's bs better than mai. Can you imagine katara dealing with zuko blowing up over everything? Because i can't. Also people saying things like "zuko deserves someone who is always there for him and listens to him" (and ofc they're talking about katara) like, ok, you hate that katara is aang's "therapist" but you want her to be zuko's therapist. Logic? Where? And I do remember mai being a supportive gf and trying to cheer him up multiple times. Did they watch the same show as me?

Zvtarians try to play the victims about how they were "robbed" bc some voice actors shipped them and from what i've read people who worked for the show suggested to go for zk, but that's stupid, it doesn't count as "they planned it but scrapped it, we were robbed". The only word that counts are the creators' voice and they have stated they were always rooting for kataang, so no, you were not robbed.

People are just so in love with the idea of zuko and katara together they really convinced themselves it was likely to happen. Honestly zvtara it's a fine ship as fanon but ppl ruined it for me and what i hate the most is when they ship it and hate on aang and mai at the same time and make them look SO bad to invalidate kataang and maiko. Saying aang is abusive and mai is toxic is complete ✨bullshit✨ and lastly, it's ridiculous when they say the creators were cowards for not making it canon. They're cowards for not fulfilling your greatest childhood wish? Something they never planned? It is THEIR show. If you hate sm how things turned out then quit atla once and for all and go find another show that you know is gonna give you what you expect,,, it's tiring that they've been crying about it for 15 yrs , like, i joined the fandom recently but i can imagine how tired old atla fans must be of this.

OK so I have a lot of thoughts about this and firstly,,,anon I appreciate the dedication that it took for you to write  this, and I agree with many of your points. However, the attitude I have on this blog towards Avatar ships is far more neutral than what you’re saying.

Ultimately, romance is not and never was the focus of Avatar. Romantic development was always secondary or tertiary plot, and the entire show was far more focused on platonic relationship development. My attitude towards shippers on here - including Zutara shippers - is that people can ship what they want, as long as they’re respectful of each other and of the other characters that “interfere” with their ship. End of the day, shipping is irrelevant to the core of the show. 

People shipping something because they find it aesthetically appealing is honestly,,,fine. Personally, I think it’s reductionist, but I don’t care if you do because everyone has the right to enjoy media however they want to. 

That being said, we absolutely should call out racist or problematic tropes that we see, including ‘fire lady katara”. I also agree that it’s upsetting when people bash other characters in order to further their ship, as much of the bashing is also pretty racist and/or misogynistic. Calling that out, however, is separate from calling out every single person who happens to enjoy certain ships.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I honestly disagree with this take. Both Aang and Zuko were approaching the situations from their own life experiences, but Katara didn’t do what either of the boys wanted. She chose her own path, by both sparing Yon Rha’s life but also refusing to forgive him. The episode is about Katara and her personal trauma and its focus should not be on her relationships with either Zuko or Aang. 

When I make posts such as this, it’s less about hating Z*tara and more about how this fandom focuses all its attention on romance and shipping, to the point where if you acknowledge a relationship’s importance it’s assumed you pair the two romantically. I don’t read Zuko and Katara’s relationship as romantic (for reasons that it would take too long to explain here), but their relationship development is extremely important, the two of them share tons of parallels and the final Agni Kai marks the culmination of both of their character arcs. Yes, Zuko would have taken the lightning for any of the characters, but it’s thematically important that it was Katara. None of this inherently means it’s romantic, but refusing to acknowledge the significance of the relationship between them is equally reductionist. 

This isn’t an attack on you, anon, and you’re 100% allowed to have negative feelings about a ship. But at the end of the day, it’s not worth getting this worked up over. If I were you I’d focus more on creating/consuming content for a ship you like than bashing ships you don’t!

he feels like he has a strained relationship with his father now,  t'chaka, even tho the man ded now. because of something VERY IMPORTANT THAT DEALS WITH N'JADAKA !!! it’s complicated because he hates what he did to n’jadaka, but this is the same man that raised him. that he put all of his trust into. that taught him how to be a man, and raised him to be king. he fought the avengers, he fought cap, and almost KILLED bucky for him. t’challa had immense love and respect for him...and he just broke his heart.

so now, as king, he’s dealing with a couple of things. his doubt as an appropriate king. sometimes he doesn’t feel like he can lead his people right, that he doesn’t know what he’s doing in dire situations ( bp ), he has that false confidence but he’s just struggling thorough it. to find his place. like any young king. and it’s not like his father will tell him how exactly to lead. his ded relationship with n’jadaka. he doesn’t want what to happened to n’jadaka to happen ever again. in his own way, he’s trying to make up for what happened to his cousin. and he’s especially doing it through coming out of isolation, revealing to the world wakanda’s resources ( slowly but surely ) so they can help the world, instead of helping themselves. it was good at a time, but the world’s changing and problems are growing. more than ever, now is time to step into the spotlight.

hello friends !! i am v v tired and emotionally distraught over the fact i was wrongfully terminated today but in more exciting news, this blog has officially turned ONE month old and i hit 200 followers today :-) thus, this calls for my first follow forever. i’ll also be prefacing it with a super cheesy blurb abt how much i love this blog and all of y’all, so buckle your seatbelts and get ready to go !!

when i started this blog, i had no idea i would experience this much joy from writing and interacting with all of you !! i had rp'ed in the past in groups, indie, and 1x1, but this was my first time really entering the krpc, or for those of you don't know korean roleplaying community. i remember using kpop fcs in groups and often being ignored for not using a lot of the mainstream fcs in american pop culture. now that i have this blog, i feel so #blessed to be able to interact with others who use kpop fcs and have high-quality writing as well !! on a more personal note, this blog has really helped me keep in touch with my writing and overall self. writing has always been difficult for me bc i felt like it was so time-consuming (not like i have anything else to do) and obligatory especially within the tumblr community, but all of you have been so patient while i dealt with irl problems such as work and college !! as a result, it really encourages me to try my hardest and push myself as a writer to reply as efficiently as possible. occupying myself like this has kept my mind off of other things going in my life in a way that my own personal writing outside of tumblr couldn't do. it always took me back to the dark place where i was alerady at, a lot of relating to my own personal experiences. now i'm ngl, there's some self-insert here and there with my characters. wooyoung was created to help me sort out my alcoholc tendencies. but the stories themselves take on an entirely new light, your muses helping mine develop into BETTER characters and people overall. being able to create this growth not only encourages me as a writer, but as a person as well. i personally connect with my characters a lot even if they lead different lives than me and care for them as if they were real. even if i'm not always the strongest for myself, knowing that i have my muses, our threads, and a loving community keeps me grounded. i don't rly have many other ppl in my life, so to have the krpc supporting and interacting with me has given me the boost i need. thank you all so much for that. now onto the more fun stuff !!

@chimxrical​: although i touched upon it briefly in my other positivity post, you've helped both me and hongbin grow so much. ours was the first thread to truly grab me and push me beyond the standard threads that die out or don't grow very much. you always replied so quickly and it rly made me excited to see how interested you were in our thread as well. i never expected hongbin to grow to as much as he has thus far, only the construct "sugar daddy politician" in my mind when i first conceived him. he had an icy air as part of his job that i myself even couldn't penetrate through at first without meifen warming up to him. his interactions with her really unveiled to me the more intimate layers of his character, that he had a lot of pain and tenderness going on beyond his work. that he didn't always have to be as tough as his work made him, that it was okay for him to dive into the softer dimensions of his personality. i didn't go into hongbin x meifen with all the details that we know about him know like his schizophrenic mother and his strong notions of justice and making the world a better place. but the more he interacted with meifen, the more insight i began to gain into who he was and how deeply his details connected with me. hongbin and meifen's (and don't forget kyungri's) headcanons have always brought joy to me and i love thinking of how far hongbin and meifen will get together the more that our thread develops. and for you as a mun, you've always been SO patient and supportive. whenever i have questions or just want to share something with you, you welcome me with open arms. you have such a kind heart and it shows through all of your characters. thank you for always being there and your wonderful replies to our threads <3
