How to kill Mizora in act 3 without damning Wyll

A few months ago I made a reddit post on this matter. Thought I should share this tutorial with Tumblr folks too and add a few more notes plus an alternative method to it.

Players have discovered Flesh to Stone can turn Mizora into a statue, but this tutorial helps you erase Mizora's presence on the material plane. Both methods involves the use of illithid powers, meaning you have to absorb a few tadpoles. But, to quote Wyll, that's "a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things".

Method 1. Drain Intelligence -> Absorb Intellect

You need: A character who has gone through partial ceremorphosis and unlocked illithid power Absorb Intellect,

A wizard/fighter/rogue (classes that use Intelligence for spell casting) who has unlocked illithid power Ability Drain, and a cleric/druid who is at least level 9. One character may satisfy more than one roles. If you're short on tadpoles, please refer to this page for the locations to find them.

Step 1. Let the wizard/fighter/rogue attack Mizora with any attack roll spells (e.g. Firebolt) to drain her Intelligence. Alternatively, equip Infernal Rapier and melee attack Mizora. Repeat until her Intelligence is drained to 1.

Step 2. (IMPORTANT!) Let the cleric/druid prepare the spell Contagion. Cast the Contagion: Mindfire variant of it on Mizora. Wait for her to fail the saving throws 3 times. (She needs to succeed the saves 3 times to nullify this spell.)

After 3 failed saves, Mizora will turn hostile due to the spell effect and a battle commences. This step is to make sure that you can safely kill her. Otherwise, your entire camp would turn hostile, and Wyll and Ulder would no longer be your allies.

Step 3. Let the character who has gone through partial ceremorphosis use Absorb Intellect on Mizora. It is recommended that this character has a high initiative to act first. Once you successfully hit Mizora, the combat ends, your party gain 1 XP, Mizora teleports away but leaves a pool of blood on the ground.

And then she teleports back - as a disintegrating corpse that turns into a pile of ash after 1 round. No loot from her. What a shame!

Method 2. Drain Strength -> Summon Shadow -> Strength Drain

This method is very similar to the first one. You still need a cleric/druid and a character who has unlocked Ability Drain (preferably someone with high Strength), but no one needs to go through partial ceremorphosis. Instead, back in act 2 you need Gale to craft a Shadow Lantern in Moonrise Towers.

Step 1. Equip Shadow Lantern and cast Conjure Shadow Lantern Wraith to summon a Shadow.

Step 2. Let the character who has unlocked Ability Drain to drain Mizora's Strength. You have many options like melee attacking her, or throwing rotten food, boots, underwear, or anything in your inventory at her. Repeat until her Strength is drained to no higher than 3.

Step 3 is same as step 2 in method 1 - Cast Contagion: Mindfire on Mizora and wait for her to turn hostile.

Step 4. Let the summoned Shadow use Strength Drain on Mizora. She shall die in the same way.

Babygirl you do need a good rest after 7 years of abuse and torment!

So far, in my testings, dead Mizora doesn't affect Wyll's quest, nor does he have a reaction to it. However, it makes saving Ulder a bit easier: when Ulder steps outside of his cell room, the cutscene where Mizora shows up will be skipped. The spiders will still be summoned, but Ulder won't waste a turn forced to kneel.

PS. You may notice My origin Wyll here doesn't have horns but Karlach is also in my party. Some players have also discovered this way to trick Mizora in act 1, by knocking out Wyll every night until the party have entered Mountain Pass. I will post details about this after I get a reliable way to achieve it.

Random details on Amaryllis as my Tav and my BG3 playthrough with her:

🌸 she's romancing Astarion, and has no idea. She just thinks he's neat. He thinks she's an insane, weird, bleeding heart, yet somehow that's getting to him. (It was the embroidered art of him). I imagine he falls for her first, and he has no idea what to do about it bc none of his experience works for her. That said, she's going to eventually return his feelings and be a lot more awkward/shy when she does

🌸 she and Gale are nerd buddies who talk for hours and hours about nerdy magical shit, or history stuff, or gods and goddesses, whatever can be found in a book. Probably end up discussing how to send a bear flying at mach speed with stackings of haste and other magical items

🌸 Amy likes Shadowheart and wants to braid Shadowheart's favorite flowers into her hair and have a like a spa day together

🌸 Karlach and Lae'zel both, ah, very bluntly propositioned her and spooked Amy senseless (this is what happens when you have a demi-sexual n demi-romantic OC who gets aggressively flirted with)

🌸 Amy has decided to run, hide, and avoid them for a while bc of this. I imagine when Karlach specifically propositioned Amy at her bedroll, Amy was so startled she immediately started rolling away and right over the campfire, completely ignoring the fact that she was now on fire. (She just misty stepped away from Lae'zel)

🌸 (i imagine Amy ran to Astarion after this, wide eyed and frazzled and going "HELP" lol and after, they hung out in the woods doing embroidery to relax, while Astarion mused on how it's probably a good thing she didn't realize he tried propositioning her too, or else she might have been scared away. Also him musing on how she enjoys spending time with him enough that she'd rather just embroider stuff with him than have casual sex with people)

🌸 Despite that, she does genuinely like Lae'zel and Karlach a lot, and enjoys sparring with both, and making cute plushies with Karlach

🌸 Amy thinks Wyll is kinda silly and goofy, but earnest. She thinks his horns are funny and wants to make decorations for them

🌸 Halsin deeply reminds her of one of her dads (who, coincidentally, was also an 8ft tall, beefy, middle aged nature loving elf)

Speaking of-

One way I'm viewing the playthrough is that Amaryllis from her main campaign got bonked on the head into a coma and got isekai'd, with amnesia, into the game story

A lot of the characters are hilariously very similar to characters she knew in her OG campaign

I think those initial similarities are what drew Amy to everyone, and they're why she was so immediately comfortable around people that she should have probably been more wary of (Astarion), but as time passes that all fades as she gets to know everyone more personally

Which BG3 Characters The Life Is Strange Crew Would Romance (In My Opinion)

Max - Karlach (The "I must save you from death" complex would get to her again. But on a serious note, I think she'd love Karlach from the second she meets her.)

Chloe - Shadowheart or Lae'zel (This is a hard one because I feel like Chloe would be like "OOOGGGHH WOMEN." about every single female romance option.)

Kate - Wyll (I feel like she'd be really put off by the demon thing and not romance anyone on a first playthrough, but if she gave Wyll a chance she'd absolutely love him.)

Warren - Shadowheart

Rachel - Lae'zel (I feel like she'd romance Shadowheart on a first run, but then she'd play Lae'zel's story later and be won over by: The dragon's, the sunset scene, and Lae'zel's loyalty. Plus, I feel like she'd have strong emotions about the "You have sinned against me," scene and relate it to her family situation.)

Mikey - Gale (We know he likes wizard's, and Gale hits a lot of classic wizard tropes.)

Sean - Astarion (However, I feel like he'd romance Alfira if given the option.)

Theo Solomon's livestream had me thinking, he said Wyll would fall for Lae'zel because opposites attract, and tbh he is a nerdy gentleman that deserves to be swept off his feet, and would make sense to me as a origin Wyll run, not to delegitimize any ships, Im a big fan of your Lae'zel x Gale posting! And like as a shadowzel enjoyer i do think origin Shadowheart falls for Karlach early game? Anyway, do you have any thoughts about origin companions and who would they end up with? Hope all is well!

i really have no problem with shipping one character with a dozen different people, and i would never cut myself off from enjoying all the other delightful combinations just bc i like one!! the origin companions are all so good with each other

if i had to just guess which origin is most likely to go for which character... i think theo solomon is right tbh and origin wyll going for lae’zel makes a lot of sense. there’s a grand romance to the storyline that would appeal to him and his flirting with her is so good he literally gets it. and yeah i also agree that act 1 shadowheart shows a lot of genuine interest in karlach like she really is flirting more than i’ve noticed with any of the others. i think lae’zel who admires a bit of ruthlessness and has so much shared approval might go for astarion, and astarion who is at least initially simply seeking safety and protection might go for wyll... origin gale is an interesting one. i mean i enjoyed galae’zel in an origin gale playthrough a lot, but i don’t know that it’s the choice if you’re trying to be perfectly in character rather than testing the boundaries of the character a bit. shadowheart would be interesting but i never got a vibe personally. hmmm. maybe origin gale is more of a ‘get pursued and see what happens’ type tav than actively picking a romance early on? for karlach i might say wyll is the obvious choice...? i mean she just loves him either way. i think karlach romancing gale would be really fun by the way has anyone giffed the weave scene because she would look so cute in it and the little projection of wanting to kiss him or hold hands when she can’t do that is So. to me.

but honestly so many combinations make sense and they’re so good!! they’re designed to be so. and they all flirt constantly. it’s impossible to say x is the best or most canon pairing. endless delights

I decided to replay my first Tav character with everything I know now but still going for the Gale romance (which I picked sort of accidentally the first time because of the bug but then I fell in love with him, whoops).

And it’s a little funny to romance the heck out of Gale on purpose, the guy loves attention and praise and being a do-gooder, which my Tav, Avelera (yeah, yeah, it’s always my first run name, so sue me), is.

Which leads to a situation where we can’t be official because of, y’know, the bomb in his chest. And meanwhile her approval with the others is, y’know, sensible. Like 30-60 range whether or not they’re evil or good-aligned (Astarion still neutral, Karlach favorable, etc etc). And meanwhile Gale…

Gale is at 100 approval already. We’re still in the Underdark.

Which makes me imagine a scenario where everyone else, y’know, likes Tav to varying degrees, but Gale and Tav are just so. Freaking. Obvious. For each other. It’s sickening.

I’m imagining long soulful looks at each other while they think the other isn’t looking. I’m imagining Gale asking Karlach, very subtly of course, if she thinks as a fellow Tiefling if maybe possibly there’s signals that Tav might be interested too? And maybe the flirting is deliberate and, dare he say it, intentional? He saw Astarion proposition her but as far as he could tell, she didn’t take him up on it (I opted for no messiness, so she thought about Gale that night instead of taking up with anyone else for an evening), despite Gale saying she should go enjoy herself…

And Karlach just making a noise of utter disgust and leaving to go chat with Wyll because honestly. Could they be any more oblivious??

Just imagine being stuck in this party, fighting for your lives, any day might be your last, and the recluse wizard and the nerdy sage warlock are apparently head over heels for each other. Everyone is is trying to survive the night and they’re in their own personal romcom.

(Also imagining Gale stuck alone in his tower for a year, no friends, only Tara, and heartache as his love and his life and everything he worked for falls apart, counting the days to his own inevitable death, when suddenly he gets whisked away to a complete nightmare scenario on the Nautiloid and then, suddenly, on the other side getting yanked out of the gate and into the arms of a found family of weirdos, one of which is the love of his life. Wild. Talk about a meet-cute of the most statistically improbable kind. I bet he never shuts up about it at parties.)

I. what do they smell like at their freshest? (and/or after a tenday. your choice)

She always has a faint smell of peaches and cinnamon to her.

II. what would their blood taste like to vampires?

It'd be a fruity flavor, maybe like a fruit lambic or a riesling.

III. how would they kiss their LI?

I rethought my love interest for Rolan and she became Rosalind. She'd also be a good match for Karlach.

She usually matches her partner's energy when she kisses. While she loves slow or gentle kisses, she's also a fan of passionate and rough kisses.

IV. how do they sleep with their LI (what position, does one steal the blankets, is one too hot/cold, etc)?

She tends to hog the blankets because she's cold. Her lover can minimize this by keeping her close. She prefers sleeping on her right side. She likes having her lover up against her be it with their arms around each other or their backs touching.

V. what does their tent area look like? where do they prefer to pitch their tent (next to water, covered on three sides, etc)?

It is filled with books, magic schools, and medical tools. There are also mountains of notebooks filled with her writing in them.

VI. if they had a set of dnd dice, what would they look like?

It'd be pink and white with sakura blossoms.

You could say she collects magical and medical supplies along with her books.

She does like collecting antiques in her spare time.

VIII. if either, are they part of the astarion/gale book club (magic & literature) or the wyll/shadowheart book club (trashy romance novels)?

She would be in both. She's a researcher and loves reading both traditional literature, books about magic, history books, and straight up trash. All of it is valuable to her.

And after a long day of difficult research, it's nice to sit back with a trashy romance novel.

IX. if they had to be put in a “get along shirt” with a companion, who would it be?

Shadowheart. Fuck Shar. Rosalind follows Ilmater.

Rosalind is a very opinionated person and doesn't shy away from getting into disagreements. She'd have issues with Minthara, too.

X. do they prefer speak with dead or speak with animals?

She likes being able to do both for different reasons, but she speaks to animals more often.

XI. what are their thoughts on clowns?

She finds them fascinating from a historical and cultural standpoint. She'd watch a clown show for a bit before getting bored unless they were a really good clown though.

XII. their companions are gossiping about them behind their back! who is it and what are they saying?

She is doing a lot of the gossiping, especially with Astarion and Shadowheart. When talking about her, Astarion would think she was an absolute nerd. Astarion also gossips about how she's a gossip.

The others do talk about how she obsesses over her interests. They'd have a lot to say about her when she falls in love, especially since she'd try to hide it at first. (She wouldn't do a very good job at it.)

XIII. what makes them laugh? what does their laugh sound like?

She has a very warm laugh. She cracks a lot of jokes with Astarion and Karlach. She loves their sense of humor and Gale's. While she can very much enjoy goofy or "low brow" humor, she does enjoy a lot more intellectual humor.

Gale can get her with an obscure intellectual joke, but Karlach can also get her with a dirty limerick.

XIV. do they have any inside jokes among their companions?

She has a lot of inside jokes with Gale about books they've read and philosophers they know about. Everyone hates how nerdy they are.

She and Astarion would also have some inside jokes about the people around them from their hot goss sessions.

XV. what’s the description of their camp clothes in the inventory menu?

"This beautifully constructed outfit doesn't seem to be ideal for life on the road."

XVI. what’s the description of their underwear in the inventory menu?

"Why does it feel like this underwear might give a dissertation at any minute?"

XVII. how do they celebrate their birthday?

This girl throws a party for herself. She doesn't wait for someone else to do it. (Although she melts if her LI takes over and surprises her.) She invites her friends to drink, dance, and eat. It doesn't have to be expensive, but if she has money, they're going out on the town.

She never expects gifts. She only wants her friends and loved ones to be present. Unintentional pun, but I'll allow it.

XVIII. what modern day tv show would they binge over a weekend? do they get their LI to watch with them?

She'd be more of a reader than TV watcher. There are a few shows she'd be into. Rosalind would watch a lot of documentaries and true crime shows. She'd watch Antique Roadshow and she'd love the mockumentary show, Documentary Now!

On the flip side, she'd love reality TV, too. She'd watch a range of things, like The Great British Bake Off, Real Housewives, and dating shows (I.E. Love Island, Love Is Blind, Terrace House, etc).

Rolan would be getting so many Real Housewives and dating show updates. Cal and Lia would watch with her and slowly suck Rolan in.

Wyll and Shadowheart would have a reality TV show watching club with her. Wyll has so many Love Is Blind opinions.

Favorite romance: well, the only one i really know anything about is gale's romance (i know a few details here and there about most of the others but i haven't actually seen how they play out) so it has to be him. but i love gale so much i would be incredibly surprised if any of the others ever surpassed him. he's so funny but he's also such a gentleman, and all of his romance scenes are just beautiful. every time he calls my tav "my love" i feel like i am going to melt into a puddle.

Favorite class to play: i really need to try more of the classes but i've had so much fun playing my bard!! i love using tasha's hideous laughter/otto's irresistible dance on everything. imagine being a famous bard who's also hailed as a hero that helped defeat the chosen of the dead three, and when people ask how you did it, you get to say you just concentrated really hard on making ketheric thorm fall over in a fit of laughter while everyone else beat him up.

Favorite NPC: oh my god this is such a hard question... i honestly loved ketheric's story, and i also love alfira and rolan!! i'm actually so attached to the tiefling refugees in general, it's always a delight to see any of them again. and raphael is an incredibly fun villain.

Favorite song off the soundtrack: hmm, probably either raphael's final act because it feels so much like a classic disney villain song or wash my pain away, because it's just a beautiful song that makes me emotional.

Tell us a little about your Tav: my tav is a half-elf lore bard named elenion who pretends to be super confident and outgoing but is actually a shy nerdy anthropologist. they're very much high INT low WIS and will make ridiculous decisions if they think they might end up with interesting knowledge or a good story to tell (this is the entire reason they let astarion stick around at first even though he was obviously a vampire, btw). they also fell in love with gale within 5 minutes of meeting him and are best friends with wyll.

Something you wish was in the game: i'm in agreement that i wish there were more interactions between the companions at camp!! they talk about each other a lot, but not to each other so much other than the banter you get while walking around, and i'd just love to see them all bond more. i also wish there were more body type options, so you could make more androgynous-looking characters without having to mod the game.

Do you create fanworks? Share something with us: not currently but i would actually love to make gifs of the game!! and i probably will start doing that sometime later this year, whenever i'm able to get a new graphics card for my PC.

Okay, I'm going to request a pairing too, because I really love your writing about all the characters! Please ignore my blog-theme, I'm genuinely interested in any pairing, whatever you see fit.

Here goes: I'm a 5'8" tall woman with dark blonde hair in a pixie cut and green eyes. I am told that I'm very open and friendly to strangers, but I still always feel a little awkward having to maintain a conversation with people I'm not super comfortable with yet. But when I'm with my closest friends, I let out my nerdy side, I love rambling about my interests and hobbies, I laugh at the stupidest (is that even a word?) jokes and love to have deep, meaningful, often political discussions with my people. Wyll is a good soul - a man who goes out of his way to protect others even at the cost of his own safety, and has a firm belief that good can come from the world and its people even when faced with the darkest of days. Compassion and empathy seem to be in short supply in this world unless you go out of your way to look for it; and yet you seem to have it in abundance, expressing it to those around you in your own ways. Small actions here, an offer to help there, and your respect towards others are all valuable traits that should be respected; even with your shy demeanor these little acts of kindness don't go unnoticed like you might believe, and it certainly makes the man eager to get to know you more.

Whilst your kindness may be what draws him to you initially, it’s easy to see that the more he learns about you, the more the guy falls for you just a little more. He simply can’t just stand by seeing you have such little confidence in your talents or personality. Yet he wants you to know that there’s nothing but sincerity as he regales you with examples of each and every amazing feat that you’ve accomplished; everything you’ve done with your talents and how phenomenal he finds every single one of them to be. He would kiss each pad of your finger and mutter sweet words of how your very touch brightens the world around you if you’d allow him the chance.Wyll will remind you each and every chance that he gets how lucky he is to be at your side, appreciating the things that you do to show your love and reciprocate it in kind till he’s sure you know that you’re loved and appreciated.

He’ll give you space when you’re pacing, knowing that you prefer some alone time now and again to recuperate. However if you’re up for it he’ll gently interject in your pacing, offering to go on a walk together and get some fresh air - if you’re pacing because you’re trying to clear your head this is an excellent way to do so, and Wyll himself is a calming presence to have around if you feel like things are too much and you need someone to just exist with for a time. 

Admittedly he has likely walked in on you singing a couple of times, and has quickly made himself scarce given that you prefer to do it alone without an audience and he wants to respect that private moment. However Wyll finds himself entranced by how content you are when you sing, a feeling that makes his heart feel warmer just remembering; perhaps one day you’ll allow him the chance to hear a performance in person - he’d love nothing more, honestly.

Let me tell you all a story about Oogway, the Tortle Barbarian, and how he died doing what he loved, checking for traps and lighting shit on fire.

I was at a smaller convention earlier today, popped in to see what was up, and had a great time! It was all about nerdy things in the northwest! It was really cool, saw a lot of people in costume, bought a lot of stickers, and got to talk nerdy shit with people i've never met.

Anyways, they had a table with a DnD setup. They had a screen on the table for a map, and they had premade characters for everyone. I picked Wyll, because I am BG3 trash, but a lot of the others had unique backstories and stuff. And then there was Oogway, the tortle barbarian.

This was an all-ages con, so while most the people that sat around the table were adults, there was one kid, couldn't have been older than like 7, and all of us were determined to make sure that this kid had the time of his life playing DnD. He picked Oogway because he thought that turtles were cool, damn right.

The actual campaign was designed as just puzzle room after puzzle room, (which was fine, it fit the occasion of playing DnD at a convention), but immediately upon knowing that this was a puzzle game Oogway starts checking for traps, every occasion he can. We enter a new area? He checks for traps, never rolled lower than a 15, the ranger and I were like "If nobody got me, I know Oogway got me, can I get a perception check, buddy?"

We come to a room with 3 statues holding 3 gems, the one with a blue gem was wielding a trident and looked water themed, the one with a red gem looked infernal, and was wielding a flaming sword, and the one with a gold gem looked like the embodiment of greed. The puzzle solution was to apply heat to the red gem, soak the blue gem, and to press a coin to the gold gem. Simple enough, ya? Well, Oogway had other plans, and those plans included getting a flaming sword. He tried and succeeded at ripping the flaming sword off the statue, only to be told "it's not actually a flaming sword, it's made of cement, but you can take it with you if you want". After checking to make sure the sword wasn't trapped, he sticks it in his backpack and we move on.

We move on to another room covered in snow where we fight a gelatinous cube. Oogway checks for traps, finds nothing, and slips his way into the gelatinous cube. We fish him out, and start killing the cube. The ranger does his thing and finds out it's weaknesses, we find out that it is immune to most status effects. Oogway wasn't listening and just hears "status effects", and immediately he's like "oh so like fire?"

The DM explains "yeah, fire, being knocked prone, being blinded or deafened, being grappled all sorts of things count as status effects", so the gigachad Oogway sets this thing on fire and tries to grapple a gelatinous cube. We kill the cube which frees oogway, and we move on to the actual puzzle of the room. The puzzle was to kill a second gelatinous cube which held the key to the door.

We roll Initiative, Oogway and I rolled the same, and I said "ok, we can work together on this!" And I braced myself to give him an alley-oop, launched him over the gelatinous cube, he raged mid-air, and he landed with such force he shattered the earth underneath him and split the cube in half. The kid was extremely jazzed, so jazzed in fact that he checked for traps, just to make sure.

We only had about 2 hours to play, and it was nearing the 2 hour mark, so the DM started to wrap up, but he said "I'll let you see the next room, cuz it's a pretty cool room", and he flipped to the next map. Oogway wasn't ready to pack up just yet, he had unfinished business, so as soon as he saw the next room, he checked for traps.

A/N: Ooh, this one was a tough one! Mainly because I see you as being so good with either Wyll or Halsin… Hmm. Let’s see… 

For you, astralmysteria, I’m thinking the male companion best suited to you would be… Wyll!

🗡 Wyll is the best companion for you. He’s kind and noble and self-sacrificing, very similar to you. He prides himself on being the best he can be whether it be in sword fighting or in dancing. He is a very responsible and empathetic person as well, choosing to take on burdens for the sake of others, as long as it means he can’t prevent villainous acts like the harming of innocents. 

Raised under a Duke, he was brought up to care about others' opinions of him, in both private and social settings. This gives him a desire to please the people around him, even in instances where he might start to resent certain parts of himself in order to do so. It was evident that he doesn’t regret what he sacrificed to save Baldur’s Gate from the Tiamat's worshippers having to form his pact with Mizora the half-devil. But he does appear discouraged when she gives him devil horns. Appearance is something that matters to him. And while he may have the odd doubt about his new look, he absolutely loves yours. He thinks you’re beautiful, practically a goddess in your own right. And he can’t wait until the two of you are properly partnered to show you just how much he reveres your body. ;) 

And he secretly thinks you look extra cute when you’re wearing your glasses. He’s had to adjust his vision a couple of times, from losing an eye in the fight with the Tiamat cultists to having his one good eye left turned into a devil’s. So he understands the need for such appliances. And don’t worry about being clumsy, it’s just another thing he finds absolutely charming in you. 

Wyll himself is more extroverted (I think of him as an ENFJ), but he gets that having to perform socially for many people can be, well… a lot. He did attend several masquerade balls growing up, and as fun as they were, there was always a point where he was beyond ready for all the guests to just go home already lol. 

In terms of Enneagram, I think you overlap there as well with you being a 2w1 whereas Wyll is a 3w2. Both of you are driven and take your goals seriously. As a 2w1, you may lose sight of your needs when prioritizing others- which Wyll gets as his large sacrifice was him doing exactly that. But he has trouble seeing it in himself, just like you have difficulty seeing it in you. This way, you guys can help each other out; you remind Wyll to keep his own needs in mind, and Wyll does the same for you. For example, on his own, he might skip meals and keep going, but with you by his side, of course, he’s going to set camp and make sure you eat something. Wyll’s grown accustomed to roughing it the past few years, but he remembers what food was like living as the son of a Duke in Baldur’s Gate. He tries to get you what you like- things with the correct textures, and foods that won’t make your nausea worse when you're having an attack. It’s not always possible when you're always setting up and taking down camp, but he does what he can. He wants you to feel just as special as he believes you to be. Because to him, you are- you’re his future, his everything. 

And with your Tav being an elf sorceress noble, wow, that just makes you an even greater match! He himself comes from a degree of nobility, and he’s a warlock!

sindyrdra didnt have a lot of time for anything besides her studies when she lived in the underdark, but since coming to the surface shes learned she really enjoys lanceboard. like she insanely nerdy about it, will talk strategies and about professional lanceboard with gale for hours at a time. she is also secretly a little bit of a poet, but shes very ashamed of it and has never shown anyone ever.

she likes lae'zel. a lot. enough to smooch her all over.

she gets along with most of the crew, is kind of ambivalent to halsin. she gets along well with minthara because of their very similar backstories (i actually wrote her backstory before i even knew minthara was a baenre lol), but they also bump heads sometimes. astarion and gale are her besties. she was worried at first that wyll wouldn't like her, as hes a monster hunter and a lot of surface folk see drow as "monsters", but he treats her like a human which pleasantly surprises her, and they become fast friends.

she cant stand gortash. part of it is a lingering bit of that drow ideology that men are subhuman and shouldnt be in positions of power, let alone taking over the world. part of it is she thinks hes just an annoying prick regardless. she thinks orin is kinda cool though, if she wasn't trying to like kill her and everyone she loves.

she didn't know what a tressym was until gale introduced her to tara and she was immediately obsessed. whether with tressym in general or with tara specifically is unknown. she also had a pet bat when she still lived in the underdark (im assuming a giant cave system like the underdark would have bats).

kagami - i think kagami would love karlach best and he'd probably play her if he couldn't make a custom character (and if he ever played video games, which he doesn't). i think he loves the fire stuff, loves the barb, loves how badass she is, loves her attitude. he's a stan. but in terms of romancing people, i think he'd romance wyll because wyll is badass AND kind. and he relates A LIIIIITTLEEEEE BITTTTTTTT TOOO MUCH TO DISCUSS WITH ANYONE :) to the Paternal Problems wyll goes through i think. so he becomes a number 1 wyll defender.

aomine - shadowmancer born and raised baby. he finds her annoying at first but it interests him, and he's like "fuck you i'm going to find out your secrets eventually, bitch" and that's that!!!! he likes lae'zel, thinks karlach is basically kagami so therefore refuses to confirm or deny if he likes her. shut the fuck up gale. shut up astarion, what do you mean you approve of that? oh lmao that was kind of funny actually. ok astarion you're alright. wyll is fine. recruits minthara. shut up halsin.

momoi - babies astarion because he reminds her of aomine in ways she refuses to elaborate on (and which doesn't make sense to the man himself). romances gale because she loves how nerdy he is and how he just knows everything about everything!!! intel KING! doesn't like lae'zel because she's noisy. karlach is fine. shadowheart is fine. wyll is super nice and she felt so bad about dancing with him and then turning him down :( halsin is yummy and she considers leaving gale to be with him. minthara is dead but on the multi-player game she has with aomine, they recruit her and her character romances her and they absolutely SCREAM at the cutscene. you know the one. that cutscene. she's trying to skip through and aomine's keeping the remote out of reach.

kise - astarionmancer and refuses to accept that there's any other way to play this game. that vampire is his MAN and there's nothing more to say on the matter!!!!!! he murders kagha at the grove but also misses out on saving halsin because he was fucking around in act 1 so :/ he doesn't recruit minthara. he loves shadowheart, loves lae'zel, loves wyll, gale is fine. karlach is fine. karlach reminds him of aomine (and he loves her). he and kagami have a multi-player game together and it's chaotic but good aligned. kise convinces kagami to hear astarion out. kise plays a durge in this pt and kagami is so glad he doesnt have to make any of those bloody decisions. he also loved the cute bard idr her name but hes >>:O when she... you know... durges it up.

midorima - he likes gale best but he isn't interested in romancing anyone. astarion is annoying. halsin is extremely annoying. karlach is noisy. lae'zel is not allowed on any missions because he cannot tolerate her. wyll is fine (he's a main). shadowheart can actually die. doesn't recruit minthara, doesn't care about halsin or the druids. he's studying medicine but he doesn't have any interest in the healers... interesting stuff.

takao - his multi-player game with mido is so dry because he just lets mido make all the decisions :/ like OKAY we won't take lae'zel out. FINE. i don't care. he does decide that his character is a druid bc he knows how mido feels about halsin, and insists that his character would want to work with him. midorima allows this. in his personal game tho takao is a rogue who talks a lotttt of shit. he likes astarion and minthara and has a high chaos run just for fun. his character is probably evil aligned bc he's having to be good aligned with mido's pt.

kuroko - loves wyll, stands by him through anything. doesn't like astarion, shadowheart, or gale. he picks lae'zel to follow primarily and essentially plays act 1 like she's the main character and his is just a side character (a... shadow...). he misses out on saving halsin. he doesn't romance anyone in the game. he has a multi with kagami momoi and aomine and it's a complete disaster. kagami wants to steam ahead to get karlach even tho he can't bring her in his party, aomine is making his busty tiefling character wander around in lae'zel's bdsm underwear because it's a "design choice". momoi is info-dumping about gale. kuroko basically doesn't get a word in but leads the group through thick and thin. kise joins when aomine cba that day and things go SO MUCH SMOOTHER.

akashi - starts playing but decides he doesn't like the lack of control he has. what do you mean he can't be a devil? let him be a devil. he wants to coerce people into making DASTARDLY DEALS with him. he is also an atrocious backseat driver with other people's games if he watches and though he mostly doesn't speak, he makes these little "hm." noises of disapproval when the person he's watching makes a choice. just PLAY THE GAME akashi oh my god
