Woe, childhood naoto with their parents be upon ye!!!

ngl i dont have many headcanons about their childhood but i will still put em under a read more :]

-Before their parents passing, i like to think they were super bright eyed and a bit more excitable.

-Their father didn't actually want them to follow in his footsteps and become a detective - He wanted them to keep that childhood innocence rather than having to face the aftermath of terrible crime after terrible crime. [ngl, this is taken from a fic i read like. years ago and shaped alot of my thoughts on naotos character lol [ill link it at the end o7]

-After the death of their parents, Naoto would wear their fathers oversized jackets as their form of grieving. They stopped wearing them in their pursuit of workplace respect though, keeping them preserved among other keepsakes.

-Their mother is the one that put them onto detective novels, as she would often sit down with Naoto and read them together.

and thats all i got o> im not used to drawing kids, so i took this as a chance to practice and was formating these in my head the whole time lol.

It makes me both sad and afraid

So funny thing is that I've never actually beat the game, instead most of the main storyline got spoiled and I found no interest in continuing the save I had by that point because "What's the point", come back like 4 years later to my old save, find out I forgot most of what happened/ had no clue of little storylines so decided to play again simply for the characters and get more understanding of the story.

So far I've been jumpscared about 14 different times and got my ass kicked by mantis women WAY more than that (beat them though after try 17)

Galien is probably my worst dreamer enemy, still havent got him. Look he only has two attacks but they are BEATING me up 😭😭

Had Quirrel's storyline spoiled for me, and it's the only reason I'm really hesitant on killing Monomon because I don't want him gone man. He's the only one I know of what happens to though so I have maybe higher hopes for my other favorites living through the game safely.

Cloth and Tiso are probably my other favorite npcs you find throughout the game :)

I hope nothing bad happens to either of them because they're so silly and I love them. I WILL say I doubt anything will happen to the Last Stag and Lemm because they're either a shopkeeper/ transportation so I don't have to worry much about them luckily, hopefully actually.

Oh...and I got something big and somewhat fresh to the idea I have about the wishes. And here is something I have to say:

Another interesting thing is that Magnifico's magic is the only magic that can hurt star boy (i'm imagining it more like I guess dark magic that contrasts star's "light" magic dunno yet but it is something), and since he has never experienced the sort of pain Magnifico will put him through, yeahhhhh he doesn't handle it well lol (might be another sort angst post about it)
