I really thought I wouldn't have time to do all the other characters today, but the stars have aligned and gave me some unexpected extra hours! So I went ahead and did everybody, including of course our man Mephisto! I also did my OC Arsenios because I was curious about what his reaction would be lol.

XOXO Part Two - GN!MC x side characters & OC Arsenios

Part One

Diavolo

Absolutely thrilled, of course. Tell him everything you know about conversation hearts, even if it's just that they exist and are sold every year. Watch his eyes get all shiny as he looks at them because he thinks they're so adorable.

He will eat them, but he will read every single one in the box out loud to you first. And he'll want you to eat them with him, so he's going to deliberately give you the ones that he would actually like to say to you. This means you end up eating most of them because he can't help himself.

Give him the one that says MY HERO and watch him blush. He tries to keep his cool, but you can see how much it means to him. He's happy you gave him these, MC. Thank you for sharing a piece of your world with him.

Now you're the one blushing. Diavolo gives you his signature laugh and pulls you into his arms. Gives you the last one that just says KISS before doing exactly that.

Barbatos

He's surprised, but quite happy because it turns out he actually made his own version to give to you. He thought you might like a little piece of home, but he never expected you to share that same thing with him. He's touched that you thought of him, MC.

He is aware of them because of his tendency to learn about human world desserts and candies. The ones he made for you are beyond delicious. You insist he share them with you because they taste better than the normal chalk version. Barbatos is happy to, but he finds the regular human world variety quite charming as well.

His hearts have a lot of the usual cute sayings, but a couple of them have more elaborate decorations such as a little bouquet of flowers or an elegant lace pattern. You can't help but blush when you find one that just says your name.

He finds the same message in both sets of hearts and gives them to you. They say BE MINE. Give him one back that says I'M YOURS and all the sweet candies are forgotten because he needs you in his arms that very second.

Simeon

Oh these are incredibly cute. He's so happy that you've given him some! If the box happens to have any texting acronyms, though, he will be baffled. Holds one up for you that says TTYL with a question in his eyes. Explain to him what they all mean and that it's only something they include because they're short enough to fit on the hearts.

Simeon finds them delightful. He'll be especially pleased if you give him an extra box for Luke. He thinks Luke would love to decorate a cake with some of these!

But he has to admit that the messages are a little too short to truly encompass how he feels about you. He shifts some of them around to from little sentences, eventually landing on REAL LOVE, PEACE, FOREVER. Do you understand what he's trying to say, MC?

Maybe you form your own sentence in hopes that he'll see you do understand. Something like ONLY YOU, ANGEL. Watch him blush and smile. Then he's kissing you and it's far sweeter than anything a conversation heart has to offer.

Solomon

Of course he's already familiar with this particular item from your shared human experience. He was probably alive when they first came on the scene and he might tell you about it if you prod him enough. He might not have been paying much attention, though, so likely his memory on this just that they showed up at some point.

He's really quite happy that you gave him some. His instinct is to wow you by using magic to alter them. He turns them different colors and changes the words on them. He makes one spell out a whole Shakespeare sonnet one or two words at a time.

You can't help but laugh at that, but you tell him it's cheating. If he really wants to let you know how he feels, he has to use what's already in the box. He accepts your challenge. Have you forgotten who you're dealing with, MC?

Surprises you by not giving you a whole stack of them. He only hands you a single heart. It says, boldly and clearly, I LOVE YOU. He's smiling his mischievous smile, but there's a slight blush there, too. Your answer is a kiss.

Mephistopheles

At first he's somewhat confused. Why are you giving him a box full of chalk, MC? He's not exactly familiar with human world stuff, so he doesn't realize it's candy at first. Explain it to him and he's surprisingly appreciative. He wasn't expecting you to think of him.

Really knock his socks off by giving him a few extra boxes for his little brother. The fact that you remembered he has one really makes him soft. It also gives him the opportunity to ask about your own family. He wants to know about them, if you want to talk about them.

Now you're having a whole conversation that goes far beyond the hearts, but you're both enjoying them together. He might not even like them all that much, but he seems to be content to eat them with you.

Deliberately give him one that says FIRST KISS and watch him get flustered. Acts like it wasn't an invitation on your part, so you'll have to be a little more blatant if you actually want him to kiss you. Eventually he gets the message and it turns out he's wanted to kiss you all along. You can tell by how hungry his lips are and the way he wraps his arms so tightly around you.

Raphael

Surprises you by actually knowing about them. Seems confused by your surprise. Surely you've heard about Michael's preference for sweet things. That extends to human world items like this, too. He doesn't really get the appeal, but he is happy that you thought of him.

He actually likes the brevity of the messages. They're short and efficient, communicating a single sentiment quickly and clearly. Nobody could misinterpret something that says CALL ME. That's pretty straightforward, don't you think, MC?

This argument is all well and good until you give him one that says XOXO. He has no idea what that means. Perhaps it's in a human world language he's not familiar with? He takes back everything he said about clear communication.

Once you explain what they mean, he gets a little flustered. Hugs and kisses? Why not just say that? Distract him by pulling him in for a simultaneous hug and kiss. He's blushing for real now. He understands the essence of XOXO a little better, but he wouldn't mind if you showed him again.

Thirteen

Wow, humans do some really adorable things, don't they? Look at these tiny hearts with cheesy words on them! They look like chalk, but she finds them endearing. And of course she's trying to hide how pleased she is that you gave her something. It's really cute of you.

She's already coming up with ways to use them for traps. Put a spell on one and leave it somewhere an immortal sorcerer just might happen to find it. She might do it, too, if you don't distract her a bit.

Find one that says MY GIRL to give to her. She smiles and blushes just a little, but leans in to ask if you think she belongs to you. Maybe you tell her that you'd like that. A direct response such as that flusters her and now she's not sure how to react.

Searches through the hearts, but she can't seem to find one that says what she wants, so she just shoves the first one she picks up toward you. It says LOL. You actually do laugh because it's pretty cute how flustered she is. She decides to clear things up by kissing you. You get a little dizzy at how quickly she goes from shy to bold. It's some time before she lets you go.

Arsenios

The minute you put the box in his hand, he's fighting down a blush because wow, you are really cute, MC. A sweet little human like you actually taking the time to give him these candies stamped with lovey phrases really surprises him.

He takes them all out of the box and lines them up in the way that makes the most sense. You're a little confused about why he's doing it until he takes out his guitar. A few chords later and he's singing you a song using every phrase from the box. You're both laughing pretty quickly because the words are mostly nonsense.

But Arsenios deliberately left the best group for last and his voice becomes sweet when he sings you the final line. ONLY YOU, MY LOVE, BE TRUE. It's still only a fragment of a sentence at best, but the sentiment rings through the notes and you can see it in his eyes.

He smiles at you as the notes fade away because he's pleased at your reaction. But it isn't enough, so he takes your hands and asks if he can kiss you. If you say yes, you'll find yourself so distracted in his embrace that you don't notice that he never actually ate any of the candy hearts.

Prongsfoot headcanons?

​I am going to be so disappointing! 

Also, why answer in two sentences when I can answer WITH AN ESSAY?! Headlines provided to at least make some sense of my ramblings!

Canon

Sirius and James are SUPER close; they are being described as inseparable. Sirius is never shown to have any interest in girls despite it being very clear that he's spoilt for choices. 

All we learn about his life post-Hogwarts pre-Potters' deaths are that he was James' best man, James' son's godfather, that he was in the Order with James (and his other friends), that James wanted him to be secret keeper and that James trusted Sirius to use Peter as secret keeper (and even just writing that breaks my heart). Upon finding out James is dead, Sirius' first reaction is to try to take care of James' son, and the second is to go after the man that betrayed James (and Lily, Harry and Sirius).

He spent 12 years in Azkaban, blaming himself and escapes once he's worried for James' son's safety. The rest of his life is dedicated pretty much to keep James' son as safe as possible, and he dies protecting James' son. I will note though that he speaks more about Lily than say Remus speaks about Lily, and there's that letter in DH. It's fair to call it canon that the two of them cared about each other.

You know this... I just feel like it needs saying over and over because there's so much love there without any interpretation! <3

Headcanon

My headcanon has never been particularly creative. I've just always imagined that Sirius was in love with James (James was aware), and while James couldn't return those feelings, James obviously loved Sirius to pieces. Just as James accepted Sirius' feelings, Sirius accepted James'. I believe that if Sirius and Lily hadn't gotten along, James would never have married Lily, but I also believe Sirius mourned Lily too and cared about her deeply, obviously driven by how happy she made James.

Anyways, that's why I suck at writing ACTUAL Prongsfoot (apparently I can't write things that break my own headcanon except to write stricter canon stuff), but I love reading about it and seeing fan art because I just want my boys to have a good time.

Some Headcanons/moments

I've heard people say Sirius couldn't cast a Patronus because of Azkaban. My headcanon is that it was because he lost James - the light of his life.

Ignoring (1) I believe that if Sirius had been able to cast a Patronus after 1981, it would have been a stag and I even have a one-shot about that called: I can't love you back to life but I can live your love.

James and Sirius went to the 1974 Quidditch World Cup together with James' family. When Sirius opened his letter from Harry in the summer of 1994, which obviously did have some concerning news about Harry's scar hurting, he couldn't help but smile nonetheless at the hurriedly scribbled addition that Ron's family was taking Harry to see the World Cup.

Speaking of letters, Sirius re-read and re-read and re-read (...) Harry's letter where Harry provided a 'blow-by-blow account of exactly how he had swerved, circled and dodged the Horntail', all the while thinking back to the many occasions James would sit in the common room providing similar accounts of his own flying (which he didn't need to, Sirius had it all memorised already).

has anyone ever written a no capes DC AU where Jason's pit rages are switched into OCD/intrusive thoughts?? because that's a concept i literally can't get out of my mind. i tried to write a pit rage once and i noticed the way i'm describing it is a literal projection of my intrusive thoughts back when my ocd was that awful. so i thought i might try to write something like an OCD!Jason fic but if anyone's read something like that before please let me know!!

the thing about aroace headcanons is that a lot of times it feels like people use them as a device to frame their lack of (sexual) interest in a character that is framed as maybe not conventionally attractive or """unusual""" in their social interactions as some form of diversity.

I need some kind of plot twist to where Tanizaki is part of some strange organization no one(not even Ranpo) knows about. He’s one of my favorite characters and I just need him to have some big exaggerated scene.

Like— the personality we all see him use is just a facade. Along with the idea of Naomi not being real and is just an illusion. He doesn’t show as much of his ability that he can actually use. He acts like he’s weaker than he really is.

The idea of Dazai and Ranpo not even being able to predict that just makes me happy. Idk, it gets boring when those two always figure stuff out so they aren’t always surprised. But with this they weren’t even close to knowing.

Along with Tanizakis ability; he can’t only create illusions. He can create actual figures by making the illusion. He can choose if he wants it to be an illusion or not, whatever that figure is, it becomes real(An example being Naomi). Tanizaki being a character we sometimes look at but not always(just like with what happened with Tachihara). I know that Dazai could just touch him and his ability will disappear. But not when they are full figures(Naomi) Basically they aren’t illusions anymore, they aren’t an ability anymore so Dazai cant make them stop.

The idea of him not ever really using his ability like he can and then for some reason he has too. Everyone doesn’t even know what to do or say. They never expected Tanizaki to be that secretive. Tanizaki doesn’t even care. He’s not even upset or worried that he got exposed, he’s just like “oh well, cats out of the bag. time to go get the others and explain to these idiots what’s happening”.

I guess the organization would be some sort of group that got past the Government, the ADA, the Port Mafia and also the Hunting Dogs. No one knew about it. I wouldn’t say Tanizaki is the leader but he is a higher up. He’d also be kind of the “brains” of the organization. Basically he and one other member are the smartest.

I’d also like to say that the leader is either someone Akutagawa knew, or someone Kenji knew, or maybe even Higuchi knew them. They’ve all been hiding in plain sight. To seek out more information from the ADA they would sometimes act like a random citizens needing help because of a crime scene. Just to see how they work and what each of their personalities are. Other than that, they get most of their information from Tanizaki and sometimes Naomi.

Oh, he’s also a cold blooded murderer everyone has been trying to find. No one knows what he looks like and sounds like. He doesn’t have a certain way of killing, he just kills. Most of the time it’s for money, but there were a few times it would be out of revenge.

Idk, he’s just one of my favorite side characters that I think could have a lot of potential in surprising everyone when they least expect it.

Omori brainrot go brr

Imagine Basil getting jealous whenever Sunny hangs out with anyone in the group for too long, and he hating himself for it. Like, there is no reason for him to hate Sunny being close with anyone. Basil has the same friends-- that he cherishes as well.

It's a very confusing thing for him.

He'll be very sad if anything bad ever happened to anyone in the group, but at the same time, whenever Kel or Aubrey or Hero are taking too much of Sunny's attention (Mari is an exception bc they're siblings), all Basil wants to do is make them go away.

This causes him to try and isolate himself from the group, afraid that he'll snap one day and follow his intrusive thoughts. However, it is unsuccessful because the group refuses to let him push them away. Surprisingly (or not surprisingly, idk), it's mainly Sunny that forces Basil to stick around.

Unbeknownst to the gardener, Sunny also faces similar problems, but instead of thinking of hurting people, he just gets sad whenever Basil isn't paying attention to him

Egotober Day 13: Mirror

What did it mean to be a mirror of someone? So alike, but so different at the same time. That was the question that ran through Roman’s mind as he sat in bed and sketched out a moment from the DND campaign Thomas was doing with his friend Terrence. It was such a creative game that he couldn’t resist.

His room, or rather their room, the room of Creativity was one that Thomas hadn’t visited yet. Being it was split between himself and Remus it was….interesting to say the least.

Half of it was a bedroom/study that looked like it belonged in a castle. Four poster bed, many comfortable pillows and blankets in gold and red with cream accents. Disney merchandise along shelves, a bookshelf, window with a nook overlooking the forest and a desk with paint and ink marks all over it. Roman wasn’t as methodical as Logan about his neatness, at least all the time. His art supplies were in a system only he recognized, but the room was neat enough you saw the floor and he kept his bed made and clothes clean.

Remus’ half….not so much. His rose red eyes looked over to where his twin was on his stomach, kicking his legs as he was likewise occupied with his own sketchbook. In shades of black and green with silver accents, his room was a full on mess that would make the clean minded all faint on sight. Clothes piled everywhere, bedding in disarray and the only reason the prince didn’t need a gas mask was because Imagination filtered it out. There was horror merchandise on shelves, a bookshelf with dog eared, torn books, a scuffed mess covered desk and the broken window overlooked a darker forest.

But there was something that was a familiar sight to him. Art supplies in a system almost the same as his, even if they were more covered in dried paint than his own.

The Duke’s poisonous green eyes looked up, his mustache quirked as he grinned mischievously at the Prince. He propped his cheek on his hand. “What’s that look for brother dearest? Oh no, you’ve been thinking haven’t you? I smell the smoke from here.”

Roman rolled his eyes and despite himself a smile tugged at his lips as he watched Remus wave a hand around in faux disgust. He scoffed to hide a chuckle.

“Ha-Ha very funny Remus. Yes, I have been thinking. About how we’re a mirror of each other, we’re so alike…yet so different.”

Remus hummed softly and he rolled over onto his back and wriggled up to set his head in Roman’s lap.

“It’s not that big a shock, if you want I can take you to meet Mary. She can give you quite the shock, that girl is something else! And maybe try to bite your lips off, but I can smack her with the morning star and she’ll know you’re not food. We went to this great bar for drinks-“

He pinched the bridge of his nose in the way of exasperated siblings everywhere and he cut off his twin’s ramble quickly but gently as he began to idly stroke Remus’ hair.

“I mean it’s just a bit confusing since we weren’t always twins. I did compare you to looking in a funhouse mirror before.”

Remus let out a content hum at the affection before he responded voice soft for once.

“It’s not really that far from the truth Roman. We may have been Creativity in full once, but when we had to we split. I was a bit more like you when Thomas was younger…but as time passed he saw two different kinds of creativity. I got most of my power from when he was a teenager. You know that time where everyone is stupid, gross, into the dark and taboo.”

“And that’s where the Intrusive Thought part of you began to manifest and where my Passion did as well.”

Roman finished for him in a similar soft tone. He sighed and twisted s bit, so he could curl around Remus and set his head on his stomach. He smiled as he felt their hands subconsciously join and Remus squeezed softly. They both knew that the prince only thought like this due to how he wanted to ignore his mental crisis of everything not really being as black and white as he’d thought, that had reared it’s head when Janus properly introduced himself and challenged everything he thought he understood.

Virgil had helped as much as he could, and he had tried bless his anxious heart, but it still wasn’t that simple for Roman to confront that part of himself yet. He knew he would soon enough, and when he did he’d have not just the others beside him, but his twin as well. Because they were each other’s mirror, where one went so did the other.

Ur sick of Angel's writing..... so you turn to Ramona? The one-off character from batb who's entire personality fits into this? Nah can't say I think bout her much, mostly because she's so specific to the show's version of Plas who I also don't think about much, beyond entertainment value lol

Thanks for this ask tho, made me go re-watch that ep she's in and it was still pretty good. The really ugly baby. The whole 'plastic cave' bit. Woozy holding the little wiener dog. Woozy in general I actually really like how they wrote him. Really didn't like any of her scenes tho just cuz the 'yelling angrily for seemingly no reason' joke just hits too close to home to ever be funny personally :P

If I had to speculate maybe she was dating Plas before his powers? After a little bit, she didn't like his criminal lifestyle, dumped him and moved on, and despite Plas being heartbroken, he didn't have the motivation to patch things up. Then he got his powers, a little more confidence, went back to Ramona, she saw that he's smartened up, they get married(?), have Baby, now they got the whole nuclear family (plus woozy).

But Plas hasn't actually changed too much from criminal to hero. He's still doing dangerous stuff, even if it's on the right side of the law. He's still running around with people she doesn't know, doing stuff she's not aware of. Maybe she regrets getting back with him, but if Plas can prove she can have one night where she could relax by herself, without worrying about her husband(?) and kid, then maybe it could work out. But it doesn't work out, and that really upsets her. She really does want Plas to change, she cares about him, but she has to care about herself and baby too, and all that emotion comes out in the yelling at him.

There's not really a resolution to her frustration in the show, as the ep ends soon after they're saved. Plas doesn't really seemed to have learned any lesson, the ep closing on him and woozy sharing a joke. He doesn't even really check if Ramona and Baby are ok, just "yup they're out of immediate danger time to go right back to what I was doing before". It's a children's show with time constraints however, so I don't care too much. A more well-rounded ending could be something even as simple as Ramona and baby being in that final shot, laughing with Plas and wooozy, just y'know really showing that they're all family, all's forgiven, everything will work out in the end, and it won't be like pulling teeth for Ramona the next time she asks her partner to take the baby for the evening.

Oh I guess you can have one headcanon before I go: I think she's still a party girl at heart B)
