i think her farthest back memory of one of ver's earliest birthdays. since their birthday would have been something reveled in the cult & highly celebrated yet she wouldn't have felt very connected to anyone at the time (as eye was pretty new to the whole 'you are better than us, we can't treat you as simply mortal' thing) so that sorta broken connection/nonexistent social connection i think is something that eventually sophia looks back on in anger and the god uses that to fuel her worship to him

Summary: Your friend has been avoiding you lately. You spiral and wonder what you did wrong.

Warnings: Anxiety go brrrrrr. Alastor is a low-key stalker, but not in a creepy way? more like a.... 'i adore you from afar' way. Luci disassociates hardcore. Reader does too.

ALASTOR

Alastor started drifting away when he realized he enjoyed having you around

He couldn't find a twisted justification for it and he just couldn't handle it

He didn't want your soul, he had no real use for you, and yet he wanted you with him

So he pushed you away without much thought.

With no explanation to you, btw

Deer boy mcgee wouldn't be (intentionally) rude or hostile towards you, but certainly more aloof.

Conversations turned into curt greetings and goodbyes

Times spent lounging around in the same room turned into a little wave here and there

Attentive listening to your venting shifted to a 'Well that's not good. Tootaloo!' before he left

The guy didn't even ramble about HIS stuff with you anymore

He'd leave his room often, he'd talk to Charlie and the other hotel-people, he'd like. Leave the building sometimes.

Maybe it was because he was doing so well that it seemed to you like he suddenly stopped caring.

Or maybe he was sick of you?

You could be pretty annoying sometimes...

You ramble and hyper-fixate and suck at emoting...

Several days of being mopey later and Charlie ended up talking with you. When you told her what gives, she pretty much confirmed what you feared.

"AGH! He ALWAYS does this!"

"Hun, take a deep breath. Maybe something happened?" Vaggie said, putting a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder.

Charlie's words already had you spiraling.

He ALWAYS did this?

Luckily Nifty happened by at that moment, sweeping up the floor with manic glee.

Her big ol' eye watched the scene and she casually stated

Nifty made her eye go comically larger, mouth pressed into a firm frown. Then her usual expression popped back up and she went back to scrubbing everything.

"....oh." You murmured as Charlie was panicking and screaming how her father was dead.

Vaggie managed to calm her down enough for you to explain what disassociating was.

You had a good amount of experience with it

Charlie proceeded to put her face in her hands and feel horrible.

You went to comfort her, but Vaggie stopped you and motioned to the stairs with a tilt of her head.

It took him a moment to respond, but he did. Looking up at you with rather dull eyes.

Which suddenly turned comically large as he sprang up and flailed about, squishing your face between his hands.

His expression went from numb to panic to absolute rage in a span of a couple seconds and it was giving you whiplash.

"Who made you cry?" He growled..

Oh yeah you were crying earlier

It was so horribly ironic you laughed, tears spilling down your cheeks. Luci blinked one eye at a time.

You explained why you cried- that you thought he was sick of you.

He offered to punch himself in the face.

That made you laugh again and you hugged him without thinking, clinging onto the silly gnome-looking man like you'd be erased if you let go

He returned the gesture in kind.

Lucifer clung onto you, pressing his forehead between your neck and shoulder, laughing in shakey, watery breaths

"What are we even laughing about!?" You cackled, tears still rolling

"No idea but I needed it." Lucifer chuckled. He nuzzled your neck, his breath steadying.

"Thank you, starling." he really needed it.

You mentioned your K-pop era when discussing Jamil as a triple threat. I also listened to K-pop in high school! Who are your favorite bands? I love Shinee, B2st/Highlight, and 2pm. Book 5 actually got me back into listening to K-pop again. And if they were half as talented as a K-pop group then they most certainly would have beat a children's song with a dwarf who couldn't remember his Own Name. Your rant on Book 5 is a perfect analysis in my opinion.

Oh dear, gotta check my old playlists, I only listen to the old songs now.

Boybands: BTS, EXO, Super Junior, SHINee (but, you know, that happened and I never managed to listen to any new songs since), BAP, VIXX

Girlbands: 4Minute, Exid, Red Velvet, BlackPink, Twice

And then a few other groups I listened to sporadically like Speed, Monsta X, iKON, Block B, Got 7, Momoland, etc

I used to be quite curious about it at the time so I looked for new songs and groups regularly. Now I just go back every once in a while to check the groups I really like, but I don't look for new groups. All the new era groups are just vague names I heard but I never really bothered.

Thanks for liking my rant o/ Honestly I can see why RSA won from my experience in Kpop communities. Sometimes you end up not caring about the quality of a song, you just vote for your bias/ favorite groups because you're gonna support them till death or something. Considering Neige's popularity and the fact that NRC tribe was exhausted after having fought Vil’s OB, I can see how they could have won.

But yeah, obviously Absolutely Beautiful was better. BTW I discovered a dance MV recently so if you wanna check it out, it's there

I have a new AU everyone!!

So, Charlie IS Adam and Lucifer’s daughter. They did the wap bap boom at Eden and ALAKAZAM! There is a ducking little kid coming out of Lucifer’s hat. Heaven decides to seperate them instead of throwing them at the same place, Lucifer takes the responsibility saying it was all his fault, that Adam was drunk or whatever and falls to hell with Char-char -where Lilith is for disobeying God’s orders and she isn’t a bitch btw there is just no romance between them- And they do not let Adam get away and also decide to throw him to Earth where Eve was because she ate the apple before. And she is angry at Adam. Not a happy marriage if you’d ask me.

Then he dies. Becomes one of the leaders of exterminators even though he doesn’t want to -Other one is Eve- and stumbles to his son, Cain during one.

“Shit I can’t just- Go the fuck away Cain”

“Oh, still a ball of sentiment I see. It’s a shame we don’t allow those HERE!”

Now he’s in hell. Lucifer finds him. They all raise Charlie together with Lilith being the cool aunt and Lucifer & Adam being the gay dads
