you sighed, and shook your head. what was supposed to be a nice post-dinner stroll around the neighbourhood turned into the usual - mingyu teasing your little girl with no end, because a minute of peace was too much for him. at least bopul was behaving himself. 

but then an idea struck you. mingyu could tease you and your daughter as much as he wished, but you both had him wrapped around your little fingers, and there wasn’t much you had to do to leave your husband pouty and sulky. you crouched in front of your little girl, and tucked her hair behind her ear. “tell daddy no kisses for a week. and no pre-bedtime cuddles,” you whispered, and kissed her cheek gently. 

she nodded vigorously, matching your bright smile. a lot of people told you she looked exactly like you (except for mingyu’s eyes, and the little mole on her nose), but her personality had to be even more similar to yours. making mingyu suffer had to be one of her favourite things as well. 

“kim mingyu,” she said, tilting her head towards the sky. “up,” she added and put her hands up, something she did whenever she wanted mingyu to carry her. 

“gosh, when did you become so bossy, hm?” he cooed at her, but the little girl didn’t fall for her dad's sudden change of heart. 

“mommy is bossy, and i want to be like mommy,” she said as a matter of fact, like that didn’t just make your heart burst with love. “besides , that’s not the point,” she took mingyu’s face in her tiny hands, “no kisses, and no pre-bedtime cuddles for you, daddy.” 

you had to stifle a laugh, as the corners of your husband’s mouth momentarily turned down. “w-what do mean no-”

mingyu looked over his daughter's shoulder and sent you a pleading look. "i was just joking," he said, the slight pout evident in his voice. your little girl giggled and snuggled into her daddy's neck, making mingyu tighten his embrace around her. "girls, please."

“not this time, kim mingyu,” you smiled and walked over to your daughter and husband. "us girls have to stick together, right honey?" you rubbed the girl's cheek, making her laugh even more.

"yes, mommy," she said and nodded eagerly.

mingyu sighed and shook his head in resignation. if it was anyone else he’d keep fighting just to strike their nerve even more, but when he looked down at you smiling fondly at your little bundle of love and chaos that he was holding in his arms, mingyu didn’t have it in him to keep teasing his daughter.

Hell: Topaz, outside of holding you against your will, is relatively laid back. The most hellish part of the arrangement would be before you reach acceptance. Her relatively gentle and hands off nature would make it seem like it'd be easy to run away which is far from the case. This disconnect has the capacity of really fucking with her darling's head.

Ideals: A very happily ever after situation. Just the two of you, happy and fulfilled. It's actually very basic and wholesome, all things considered.

Jealousy: She doesn't have jealousy issues for the most part. She is a sore loser which could turn into a burning feeling of jealousy if she lost in something she considered her area of expertise. When feeling that way, she would cope by locking up her darling for a bit and throwing herself into her work for a bit to blow off steam.

Kisses: As mentioned in 'Affection' she would match her darling's energy. She's really good at putting the needs of other's first and helping them feel more at ease. If her darling wants to play, it's play time. If her darling doesn't want to talk, Topaz won't push them.

Love Letters: She'd approach her darling like a very persistent friend, slowly (but not maliciously) isolating them. Topaz would take care of everything, so things and people that become redundant would slowly be pushed out.

Mask: Yes, but well, actually no. Most people are aware of how reliable Topaz is, so if you reached out to others about her behavior, they would be confused about the issue. Yes Topaz is Topazing, what's the problem?

Naughty: Punishments are dangerously lax, for both parties. Just like a parent needs to steer their children, a yandere needs to steer their darling. An unstimulated, free range darling can feel neglected in a round about way. There needs to be more than just a locked door to invoke that juicy, juicy Stockholm syndrome.

Patience: As mentioned above, too much.

Quit: Capable =/= Willing. Topaz would need a reason to move on.

Regret: Topaz doesn't feel regret often, if ever. She's too focused on moving forward. She'd never let her darling go, unless they're going somewhere else together. Whether that's a change of location, or a shift (forward) in the status quo of the relationship.

Stigma: Her childhood shaped her into who she is. The Topaz of today is the most logical outcome of the circumstances of her upbringing.

Tears: She'd feel absolutely awful. Nothing makes her feel worse than the feeling of failing her special someone.

Unique: I'd consider her pretty unique by yandere standards since she operates so differently from the usual.

Vice: Her darling could really take advantage of the element of surprise and Topaz's lack of willingness to act violently against them.

Wit's End: Never ever ever.

Xoanon: The happiness and affection of her darling is her greatest ambition.

Yearn: She can pine pretty long. The only reason she'd snap is if there would be a shift backward/away from the status quo. Her darling needs to move away? Well we can't have that. Time to lock them away.

I LOVE YOUR DRAWINGS/ ART STYLE ALASTOR AS A CHILD IS SO CUTE !!!

What do you think baby and child Alastor was like growing up like personality and how did he get along with others and what he was like at school? Do you think he was a hard to handle baby or one of those quiet ones (fully conscious baby lol 😭)

ATTENTION, THESE ARE ALL HEADCANNONS. I'll refer back to canon when there is information but we don't know much of Alastors early life. Or of anything about him at all that much. This is gonna be a loooong one...

I also think, I'll colour code a little; orange is what is actually canon and blue is the stuff that i think ive read somewhere but might not be true or might become outdated.

I. Alastor and mental health

I think it is very likely that Alastor has ASPD (antisocial personality disorder) othervise known as psychopathy. Now people with this disorder are not inherently evil, but I'd think their upbringing takes a lot more care, attention and knowledge than the avarege person because people with aspd don't experience empathy, and regret after hurting someone or at least these feelings are very limited. They are also very likely to disregard rules, be reckless, agressive, impulsive, decietful, etc...

Alastors childhood propably stems from the 1900s to the early 1920s roughly (we don't know when he was born, only that he died in 1933 and was in his 30s-40s). Psychology was not as advanced as it is today, and it was especially propably unavailable for a child of colour.

So I think that Alastors behavior was very poorly managed throughout his childhood, leading to him becoming a not very good person (a serial killer).

II. School life

In school he'd act violent toward classmates he didn't favor. It's been said that he has a messed up moral code, but a moral code still, so I'd imagine that means either getting revenge for those who were wronged in some way and could not protect themselves (and Alastor actually liked them) or protecting those who cannot protect themselves. Either way, these likely ended up in Alastor beating another boy up, putting glass shards in his sandwich or ruining his status or reputation in some way. In fights he'd be creative and use his surroundings, other than mindless punching.

Towards his friends (whom were very likely all girls) he'd act very polite, charming and even kind. He'd enjoy spending time with them instead of other young boys who were a lot less mature and sometimes straight up repulsive and barbaric. Him and his friends would hang out, gossip, dance, etc, he was always just *one of the girls* lol. This is also where I'd imagine the moral code comes in, because of early 1900s mentality and sexism and boys bothering girls and Alastor standing up for them and those were very different times and Alastor just seems like a very uniqe case.

So he'd get into trouble all. The. Time. His poor mother is just tired and at a loss at this point. Nothing makes this kid behave better, there is no use of punishing him, she (or his father) can beat him (reminder that those were different times), talk to him, talk to teachers, punish him with chores and work, nothing works. It is a miracle he wasn't arrested yet.

III. General behavior and perception

I think he was always very confident, charismatic and passive agressive rather than outright violent (which he reserved for those he particularly hated and actually could fight or trick). He was polite usually (his mother thought him well in that regard, and being polite is very useful anyways) and very intelligent and tactical. People rarely caught onto his mischief and the targets would usually be too afraid to speak out. Usually. Or just be annoyed and if the target was an adult, hooo boy.

I think the people who knew him would see him as a troublemaker but someone who would have great potential if he wasn't such an annoying pain in the ass. He is theatrical, dramatic at times, they just really didn't know what to make of this kid. People who didn't know him would see him as a good kid, who has a strange sparkle in his eyes that could be something harmless and innocent or something that is very worrysome. Family thought he was strange, worrying, but outside that, helpful and a sweet kid. Other than the beating classmates up.

IV. Family stuff. God help me...

So... this is the part where the source of angst for every Alastor fanfiction comes from.

-About his mother:

She propably ended up in Heaven so thats the only indicator we have of her personality.

His mother was a caring, sweet as candied apple but a very troubled person. Troubled because of her husband, her son and society. But she was also very firm and and had a spine, and she was a great source of inspiration for Alastor. He loved her very much (in his own way) and enjoyed being around her.

(fyi we don't actually know, which of Alastors parents was creole and which one was white or smth else. All we know is that he himself is mixed creole.)

Alastor loved his mother's cooking and they'd both like jazz and swing and all these types of fun. She encoureged him throughout his life, though she likely didn't know about his serial killer hobby later in life. Or if she did, than that was a very complicated situation.

And oh boy, oh, man, the father of the year.

I don't think that for Alastor to have a valid reason to hate him (and by extension almost all men) his father had to be phisically abusive, even though beating or hitting your child was common practice to punish them. What I mean is he didn't have to throw bottles at his son's head, beat him to a bloody pulp or strangle him and his mother for Alastor to hate his guts. I think that him being pathetic and disgusting in Alastor's eyes is very much enough and maybe makes even more sense. Hear me out.

Think about the stereotypical man. The ones women oh so hate. He drinks, he smokes so much, you can't see him, he cheats and lies and he is just a mean little bitch.

(I'm a man myself, don't kill me, I wrote that from the perspective of Alastor Manhater.)

And if his father did these things that were (are somewhat still unfortunately) not at all uncommon among other men, Alastor's hatred of this can be easily extended to every man who cannot prove otherwise. Maybe even those who can or could.

So I think that while it is possible that dear ol' Dad was horribly violent towards his family, it would be a lot less clichè and maybe even make more sense for him to be a pathetic cheater who drinks and smokes and is just unpleasant to be around.

Alastor would fucking hate his guts. His father is rude to his mother and to him, he is useless, he is pathetic, he is spending the hard earned money on cigarettes, alcohol and brothels. He lies, he's mean, he's just a horrible person.

Alastor would never want to be like him, though ironically some traits he can't help but learn from him. Lying, being mean to others, he'd also as an adult would occaisionally smoke.

Backstory

Cyan worked in the specimen laboratory at MIRA HQ, occasionally taking trips off-planet for fieldwork and sample collecting. Cyan was very attached to her many pets, and would get engrossed in her work studying her specimens.

Unfortunately, she was caught alone in the specimen lab one day, and the impostor- Orange- who snuck into MIRA via transport vessel, sought to gain a new ally. Orange cornered and converted Cyan into an impostor by infecting her with the parasite, and once she turned, Cyan went into a feral hunger rampage, mindlessly killing and eating all of her pets and specimens in the lab. The grief of losing her beloved companions and all her work snapped her back into control of herself, only for Orange to praise her for the carnage. Outraged, Cyan turned on Orange, killing and eating him, too.

Not wanting to die for killing a seemingly innocent crew mate, Cyan outed herself immediately to her crew, handing over Orange's remains as well as their weapons during the meeting. Because Cyan never killed any actual crew mates, her crew decided to let her stay, on the condition that she be observed at all times via her Glitch Console (the Twitch pet lmao). She uses Glitch to stream her continued work in the lab, and keep in near constant contact with the rest of her team - it's also MIRA's way of keeping tabs on her, since she's on thin ice as a known impostor.

Cyan has a vitriolic hatred of other impostors, and can hardly conceive of another 'friendly' impostor like her existing. Whenever a hostile impostor shows up, all of her team have an alarm button on their tablets to call her, and 'deploy' Cyan to 'fix' the problem. This has regained some trust with her closest friends in her crew, though Cyan prefers to stay isolated in her laboratory with her new pets. She would love to find a cure for her condition, but is resigned to existing as she is, and it can't bring back the pets she lost. Cyan is soft on animals, robots, her fellow crew, and children, and has misused science lab equipment to make treats for young visitors. Don't mess with her work or she'll bite you.

Abilities

Cyan-tist is a Shapeshifter variant Impostor. She cannot turn into everybody she sees- however, she can transform into anything living she has ever eaten. The higher percentage of the creature she consumes, the better the disguise. She can shapeshift clothing from her own body matter. The 'cat hat' she once wore has become a physical part of her, the ears functional for hearing and movement, and the eyespots capable of sight, producing tears, and emoting.

Due to her initial feral rampage in the lab, Cyan can transform into a wide variety of crewmate pets and lab specimens- her favorites being the three forms of her former companions: a Doggy, a Headslug, and a Squig. She often uses these to spy on new arrivals undetected, attempting to sus out foreign impostors from the cohort. Cyan can adapt features to her existing body at any level she wants- for example, she can gain the fur coat of the Doggy, the wings of the Pouka or the Goose, or the tentacles of the Squig without needing to fully shapeshift. The Doggy form in particular has a heightened sense of smell, allowing her to detect if the scent of a foreign impostor is present, though it may not be sufficient to identify the specific individual from a crowd.

Cyan-tist's adaptive shapeshifting is powerful enough that she can gain the unique attributes of other impostors she has eaten. This includes her advanced chromatophores for changing color, which she acquired from Orange, the first impostor she killed and consumed. Very few impostors since Orange have had anything noteworthy to add to her repertoire of skills. Cyan swore to never eat a crew mate.

Okay I couldn't help it, I wondered about what would happen if Cyan were to be present in the series. !!!SPOILER WARNING IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, DO NOT READ THIS PART!!!

Original series- If she didn't adapt to the sudden climate shift of the impostor takeover, or stood with the crew in any capacity when they began to spread out of control, Cyan-tist is most likely dead. She would not have gotten along with many- if any- of the impostors within MIRA HQ, and actively would have stood against or tried to kill them, making her an enemy. I can't imagine Big Purple let her live if she tried anything. If by some miracle she DID survive, Cyan is most likely operating as a plant within the impostor hideout, smuggling supplies or otherwise tipping off the survivors as to the movements of the horde so crewmates can escape or avoid being discovered.

Alternate series- Cyan-tist is completely unaware of the plot that Crimson and the MIRA HQ heads have for selling off impostors/parasites and dissenters as test subjects. As such, she continues to operate in her specimen lab, on constant watch for new impostors to show up and threaten her crew and friends. The future arrival of Red, Purple, and Pink would set off HUGE alarm bells for her, and she would be on high alert the moment she detects they're impostors. Cyan would HATE Purple as a known killer impostor, be sus of Pink's no-thoughts-head-empty behavior- though she'd discover quickly he could be distracted with snacks- and not trust Red until his own crew vouches for him. Once the Skeld survivors confirm Red is innocent and a fellow 'good' impostor who saved their lives, Cyan would back off, but keep her eye on all of them.

Saiwa stirred a few times during the night, antsy to go back to his computer to search for Tiny Can, but Jeb didn't losen his arms around him. As promised. Even though it's weird to not see Sai's reflection in the mirror - and his froathy toothbrush hovering in the air, Jeb couldn't be happier. He was craving Sai's return back to their home. And before Sai even bothered to get dressed, he ran over to the Corner Store, to call Rubyn over their only connection to the mundane world - their Post Office Device. Maybe she has an idea how to track down the tin can. After their fruitless search in the Otherworld, it was clear that Tiny Can had managed to leave somehow. So he must be in the Muggle World.

And after Sai gave Rubyn a brief overview about what happened, Rubyn offered to order a few upgrade parts for her devices so they should be able to find a signal of Tiny Can. This would take her a few days, but then the Boys could come over and help her setting everything up and track down the fugitive Astromech. Rubyn also asked Sai to bring along their Therapy Game Server. Some components would be useful since Tiny Can had been connected with the server they installed in the basement to run the game.

And while Sai was chatting with Rubyn, the Post Office Device was already busy sending their produce over to the mundane world, so Noxee could sell them. The Boys urgently need to make money. To pay for their school fees and for Rubyn's help - again... Eventually Jack called Sai for breakfast, but he wasn't hungry. Where are they supposed to get all that money from?

He talked about his worries to the others. It took them months to pay back the last loan. And now they have two big expenses to cover.

But Vlad reassured him. Their produce, crafted in the Otherworld, sell at top prices among creatures all over the worlds. No one can stay here for longer, let alone craft something, so anything from the Otherworld is precious - and of high value. And while Jack, Ji Ho and Sai lived at the Beach House to develop the Therapy Game, Vlad, Jeb and Kiyoshi worked hard and made enough money to pay back the last loan. They'd even been able to put a good amount aside.

Sai was relieved. This would be enough to buy the components Rubyn mentioned and athena already agreed to give them the loan for their school fees. Phew, finally a silver lining at the horizon! Sai's appetite was back and he enjoyed having breakfast all together back at their home. He looked lovingly at his friends. They have a few days now until they'll have to leave for the muggle world to meet Rubyn, so Vlad and Ji Ho have at least some time to recover between teleporting them around...

And so they seized the days with work. There had been lots and lots of inspiration over the last weeks. Whenever he had time to breathe, Ji Ho scribbled down and recorded ideas for songs, so he was able to finish a few in the short amount of time they have. And now, that he is in contact with his feelings again, his songs have more emotional impact and hit deeper. He does not even need to put any of his Siren's Song magic in them to achieve this.

Vlad was writing and painting. Also with fresh ideas for his novels and stories. And now that Ji Ho is finally able to love him, his paintings are much brighter and more meaningful. And whenever Ji Ho needed a break to sort the creative overflow in his head, he did the chores. More often than not, he ended up in Vlad's room. Which made Vlad smile contently, and his fingers flew over the keys with new inspiration and confidence.

Jack and Kiyoshi worked happily in their wine and cheese shop. Both, nectar and cheese, age well here in the Otherworld and develop an unique taste that is nowhere else to be found. And, as we see in the pic below, they are crafted with love.

The fresh, organic produce from their garden and greenhouse made the nectar and Jeb's potions even better.

Jeb mastered his jewelry skill and with the metals and crystals he found in the Otherworld, he crafted the most wonderous enchanted jewelry.

XZ Album 《我们 WE》 early cpns.

you know we just need a few things to see and it’s a whole bunch of cpns we can produce after 😂😂😂 that’s the magic of being a turtle. lol. we may be interpreting this whole thing wrong but that’s usual when it comes to speculations we make and i think that’s the joy of it.

i’ll start of with this one that made me want to scream and cry:

why you gotta pull the wei wuxian imagery like that. i’m very very weak for this. the writing mimics that of a red ribbon. of all things. tho the WM here as how fans interpret it and how i think xz intended it to is WM: WǒMen (我们) as in We/Us or WM: We and Me (我和“我们”) (Wǒ hé “Wǒmen”). not to mention that the color scheme of this red is 911005. his bday. everything is intentional.

but still. red ribbon. come on. who can blame us for clowning like this when he makes it so easy. it’s not a secret that the untamed and the role of wwx is important to him career wise and well *ehem* personally *ehem* because of a certain someone. if you don’t wanna look that far then just go with the W as in WANG. lol. and if it’s WM, M flipped is still W. so that’s how transfixed he is with the letter W. i wonder why. 👀

now we move on to the snippets of what the song means & how it’s making us think of wyb’s previous single everything is lovely ( which has a separate cpn too between them )

QQ music said this line connected to the album/song:

“About me, about you, about TA (him/her), or the relationship between people in this big city.”

this is pretty similar to the message of everything is lovely — it’s about appreciating everyone and looking at life and your surroundings as interconnected. they both have that sense in them. what we do and say, it has an effect and we are all related even if it’s a big city we live in. plus the use of TA which does not specify the gender. we love that! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

we get more of an expanded idea too via xzs post of the activity for the release. it mentioned a description. you can substitute the we to us if that reads better to you:

These characters of “ME”, and emotions form different "WE".

i think if you are someone who have been watching them for a while and the messaging they are sending out then you will see the common theme/connection here. the cats and dogs waiting for us to come home every night. that reminds me of the cpn that they have a cat and dog at home, at some point. and it’s what they want too. the interconnection of you/other people and appreciating everything around you, that’s the vibe i’m getting right now. of course we will know more one we have the song/s and the full lyrics and possibly some backstory from xz.

a coincidence too that the “me and we” is giving the same energy as “ u and i” which is in wyb’s weibo bio. which i know is something UNIQ related but there you go.

what’s more chilling i guess is the “we” was emphasized and used as a caption between them by hui-ge ( cpn about this fansite here which is a primer of sorts but there are other instances aside from what’s there ) which was i have a we / i have us. i mean. come on. too bad they haven’t posted in so long especially because fans were looking too much into them ( cpn about this photo/ post here )

the use of “we” which they have mistakenly said back in 2019 when talking about themselves:

other minor similarities:

* the concept of multiple xz and wyb through something prism/mirror like.

* both xz and ybo using similar captions which is not new but most importantly, starting an activity for fans to participate in. which i’m not sure but possibly other artists do too. but whatever, let’s add that 😂

* and the PINK! because pink is the color of love! what are the chances they will use the same color?

lastly, one of the release dates is 11/19. and as cpfs we have a whole story about that and it’s nice that we get to continue that timeline. cpfs think it’s a confirmation of the importance of this date too ^^

Everyone is like, oh bad boy Cheol, but to me, he is just the kind of guy who falls first and falls hard and the next thing you know he’s taking you home to meet his family.

• Jeonghan ➝ Love & Other Drugs ↳ Kind of a player who gets attached and freaks out when he sees trouble? Do I need to say more.

• Joshua ➝ 27 Dresses ↳ He didn’t mean to but he fell in love with the girl he was writing an article about it just sort of happened.

• Jun ➝ About Time ↳ I just love time traveling and this movie is perfect. Jun is the kind of guy who is kind of awkward and would make a lot of “mistakes” in his relationship and would go back on time to fix it constantly, making changes that he didn’t want to.

• Soonyoung ➝ Just Like Heaven ↳ I can just see Soonyoung freaking out because there’s a ghost in his apartment but also being dumb enough to fall for said ghost.

• Wonwoo ➝ Notting Hill ↳ This is one my favorite movies of all time, I’ll watch it whenever it’s on. Now tell me, doesn’t bookshop owner Wonwoo, with his quirky friends, falling for a super actress make perfect sense? It does, don’t argue with me.

• Jihoon ➝ 50 First Dates ↳ I kind of already wrote, made it super angsty. Reason number two why this list exists. ↣ read here
