I am so glad Nimona shows Ballister's and Ambrosius' relationship in the beginning of the movie, both to SHOW THEY ARE BOYFRIENDS DON'T YOU DARE SAY OTHERWISE IT'S LITERALLY THERE.

As well as to show the evolution of their relationship throughout the movie-first we see them hiding in the dark and being lovely with each other. Then throughout the movie, they face their challenges and frustrations toward each other, however they still feel they love each other and probably their love grows stronger because of the challenges? They realise they don't can't keep hurting each other, as well as having to comr to terms with each of their problems.

The end shows them out of knight armour too, and finally out in the light, in the open. They can finally be themselves and openly together. THANKS TO NIMONA'S SACRIFICE AND HER ANARCHISTIC BEHAVIOUR!!!!

I might add onto this later, I started to find this short ramble a bit interesting now.

The parallells throughout the entire movie continue to blow me away. The movie has been so well thought and planned out.

While obviously no one is physically harming him I’m not over the fact that this literal child was thrust into the spotlight to have his worthiness questioned by the press/kingdom at large.
