Helloo~ I was bored in class one day so I thought "why not do an art study of the artists I like" except it incredibly scuffed and I really just looked at a bunch of art on their page and i tried my best to replicate one of em

What I noticed first while sketching is ofc the super gorgeous cute style. Though not long into the sketching phase noticed her lines are quite sharp and pronouced, for most of her works she keeps her sketch lines making it seem more mmm hazy is the right word? Or effortless, but with every sharp line a rounded(?) line contrasts it, giving it that signature fluffiness. I absolutely adore how well this all mixes together, i dunno just sonethin bout her lines bro

I love the expression, really gives off absolutely love sick, I didn't capture the eyes quite well (I blame my chonk pen because all good artists blames their materials/j) Macaque looks more scared than breath taken and I put the eyes too far apart. I basically deprived the eyes of its soul lmao note for next time I do a study.

Ok this part has not much to do with the ref pic but her art in general and that includes her writing. I adore the cute HCs and little stories/AUs she would post, just so much creativity and its always so comforting to read as theyre so wholesome and cute. Im so sure one of my first posts here were a drawing of one of her HCs LIKE SRSLY SO CREATIVE. I was also surprised as I saw in some artworks she's able to draw structures and environments that draws your into the scene, its fits the universe so well, just adding to that little wonderment of awe. Shes amazing at coloring too, real soft, but still makes the characters pop, i'd say more but my brain is short-circuiting from all this analyzing. Shes just all round incredibly talented and creative honestly. Her style is exactly what i wanted to have as a kid and what im striving to have now. So cuteee

So far 11/10 art style, love the chibiness, cuteness, expressions, the pure and pastel feel and colors, and details. Just love her in general<3 check out her page lol

Ok so immediately off the bat I knew I was gonna have some trouble here since I've been drawing chibis from the very start.

Just from observing her art I alr saw it has a lot of movement in em, lots of dynamic poses, and LOTS of embraces, really just pouring with that fluff/angst energy. At first I tried the anime body guidelines and boom instant error. Though not all that noticable the heads have sum chonk in em, especially the cheeks, giving that cute factor despite not being a chibi style. Im all for it. The lines are very soft, not a lot of sharp edges and if there are theyre placed in a very subtle way. The expressions are wonderful: from a subtle hopeless smile from an overwhelming roar of grief and anger, she's mastered the the art of slight details that give these effects their magic. Her lines are sketchy but not messy (does that make sense) they clump together neatly, giving the illustration clarity.

AND OMG HAVE YOU SEEN HER ANIMATICS? THE MOVEMENT, THE PACING, THE SMOOTHNESS, THE INTERACTIONS, THE EMOTIONS, THE EVERYTHING. THEYRE SO AAAA ITS LIKE A PROFESSIONAL STORYBOARD FOR A TV SHOW.

The way she uses color too— just o h m y g o d .

Her colors are so bright and clear, so nicely blended together, so bold, but not in the way that burns your eyes, she keeps them neutral in a way, that envokes that sense of harmony; like a sunset. (I legit have one of her colored artworks as my wallpaper) I have lots more to observe, but so far this is all I have to say. The skill of overflowing

Anways, back to the task at hand. I made the heads bigger than i shoulda , cause well chibi artist ehe. Again, I blame my chonk pencil. I didn't get the embrace quite right, but Ion think I could level with the queen of LITERALLY DRAWING TEARJERKING HUGS LIKE? I tried with the hands, I swear. I knew they were a little small but only now am I realizing its that way cause I made the heads too big. I wanna try drawing more in her style as its really just full of movement and flowiness, I wanna try mastering the way she draws perspectives too. I noticed for perspective shots theres this grid for the sky and ground (which is genius) will try that out when I actually pick up digital art again.

THE WHOLE PV IN ONE PIC LMAO + Comparing older concept sketches to newer ones/line art

The first image is THE concept art for the entire current pv, made when the lyrics were done, and all that was left was to do the vocaloid tuning and then the final mix. Obviously, I made a lot of changes from that concept.

The portion where they're standing next to each other but facing opposite directions was replaced with them standing with a hand across their chest and an arm behind their back AND other entirely new poses for those lyrics. Many poses were adjusted to look better, but they still had the same overall idea as the concept art.

2nd and 3rd picture: For the beginning, when Ingo yells "all Aboard," the first version was too zoomed in . The pose was too stiff , he didn't really look like he was yelling either. So I made it more intense and gave him a more dynamic angle and made the pose better flowing so he wouldn't look too stiff. It's one of my favorite poses now, so I'm very glad I redrew it.

4th and 5th picture: I do love the emotion and poses from the first version, but I figured since Emmet didn't sound emotional, I'd give him a more subtle look of sadness. My art had improved drastically too, so I redrew both of them , I'm also glad i decided to do this because the other version makes em look like widdle baybees. Not a whole lot changed pose-wise so :]

6th and 7th picture: as you can read in the 6th picture (or maybr not my handwriting sucks) , it's the redone version for the "back when I lived Back when I knew" part, a completely new pose for that without Emmet. the two versions aren't all that different, i just adjusted the proportions, added more detail, cleaned it up, and removed the fire cus I didn't wanna draw fire, lol. There's nothing else I can really comment on except for how hard the hand and hat were to draw.

Last 2 pictures: I was mid- lining /redrawing the sketch in the first version, but you can see how I changed the proportions and angles on certain parts a little. The 2nd version is a lot more detailed and cleaned up,  and you can see how I changed the hat because the hats are so HARD to draw

Q1: 2022 was a special year for Eunchae. What’s the most memorable scene?  It’s hard to choose one for the most memorable moment, but I want to choose my debut showcase! Before the stage LED door opened, I was standing in the back, holding poses nervously. It was when there were only a few seconds left of the moment I had dreamed of so much. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

Q2:  Just by looking at your expression, you can convey the overwhelming emotions at the time (laughs). Today’s pictorial also contains Eunchae’s bright energy, was it fun? I was excited because it was my first solo photoshoot (pictorial). I was excited because it also captured my personality and real appearance as it is. Depending on the pictorial concept, there are times when I become ‘dark’, and there are also times when I burst out laughing and smiling. It’s fun to put it differently every time.

Q3: Even in school, you were full of energy to the extent of participating in the student council and sports club, right? I am the kind of person who couldn’t stand still. I was very cheerful. I like to exercise and run around, so I play soccer with the guys and I think I look forward to PE class the most. 

Q4: You were the last trainee to join LE SSERAFIM  I remember the exact moment I heard that I was joining the team. Since I didn’t have a long trainee period, I vaguely thought that I would’ve enough time to practice tomorrow or the next day. But the opportunity came so suddenly. I was so grateful but at the same time I was scared. But still, with great luck my dream of debuting came to me, so I made up my mind to do well. 

Q5: So your heart became stronger at that moment  Starting from joining the team late, and getting used to it, to learning the choreography also recording, it wasn’t an easy job to do as a first timer. Looking back at the times I was running toward my goal of debuting now, it’s really precious and I’m proud of myself for doing well.

Q6: Even though It’s been two months since the tittle track for the 2nd mini album ‘ANTIFRAGILE’ release, it’s getting more and more love right now. What did you worked on the most while preparing for this song?  Because I wanted to show more sides of myself that I couldn’t show in the debut song ‘FEARLESS’ and do better, so I had a different mindset for this song. If I started promoting my debut song without knowing anything, it turns out  I became more nervous because ‘ANTIFRAGILE’ is my second promotion. The genre was unfamiliar and I was worried whether people would like it or not, but I was surprised and it’s amazing that it’s getting more love than I imagined. It also doesn’t feel real that it got 2nd on ‘Melon TOP 100’!

Q7: Especially on this part “Walk like a majestic lion / eyes glinting with so much desire” we could feel Eunchae’s unique color. It might sounds like you’re singing it lightly, but it sticks in your ears (easy to listen to). I thought it was an attractive part from the moment I heard it in the guide version, turns out that became my part!  The vocal teacher said that it would be better to sing it indifferently as if it were annoying, and it fits so well. It’s fun and interesting to see reaction like “it sticks in my ears/catchy” or “it’s strangely addictive”.

Q8: Did you know that the viewers also received a lot of energy from LE SSERAFIM unique moves like walking and kicking choreography? Do you gain strength by doing all of this move?  It’s really tough physically, but interestingly, expressing the same movements on stage doubles the energy. It gets more intense than when i was doing it in the practice room, I think LE SSERAFIM has the best stamina (laughs) 

Q9: Despite the intense choreography, your expression didn’t get disturb for a moment I went on stage with the mindset of raising my energy as much as possible even for a short time so that I won’t be embarrassed if I see it later, also so that I can show you everything I have. Maybe that’s why? 

Q10: The girls who moved forward without fear in ‘FEARLESS’ grew more in ‘ANTIFRAGILE’. Now beyond fearless, they also have become hard enough not to break. Has Eunchae also changed her mindset or attitude just like the message of the song?  When we were preparing for our comeback, we had schedules and practice, unlike our debut song. We were busy preparing for end year show performance as well so it was tiring. But,  I wanted to be on stage, so I casted a spell on myself to become ‘ANTIFRAGILE’. I was worried with the members as well about whether we would be able to complete this song well and make a comeback, or whether I could pull off this difficult choreography a few times during recording, but in the end it worked. We worked really hard and at some point it was completed. We even said  among ourselves, “ it’s really ‘ANTIFRAGILE’ that we went through a setback and completed a stage that’s better” (laughs) 

Q11: As soon as you debuted, you received a hot response, it must’ve been a sudden spotlight on the team, but Eunchae is full of confidence as if you’re meant to be on stage. How do you get rid of your nervousness?  I started doing this because I liked singing and dancing. I would be nervous or worried that I would make a mistake, but when it came to it and I stood on the stage and heard our song play, I thought “Right, I’ve come all this way to do this” and I felt a boost in my confidence. I’m not really the type of person who gets nervous that much.

Q12: I think I get the reason why the members find Eunchae so cute (laugh). How does it feel to be the maknae who receives all of LE SSERAFIM’s love? I don’t know much about the maknaes of the other teams, but I feel safe because of the four moms, I mean the unnies, that I have with me. There are a few times when it’s a little burdensome or pressuring to have them call me insanely cute even if I say just one thing, but I really enjoy it myself (laugh).

Q13: Each one of these four “moms” has a different character, don’t they? Can you introduce them all one by one through Eunchae’s point of view? I’m someone who can pick up on things really quickly, and Sakura unnie knows that too. One day, she told me this in passing, “You don’t have to be that quick to notice things. The maknae doesn’t need to be so cautious.”. I don’t have to be so aware and I can do whatever I want to do, and that unnie will do all the difficult things for me. Unnie might not remember that, but it really struck a chord in me. For Chaewon unnie, when I had first joined the team I was incredibly shy, and she would ask me if I was having a hard time and if I was okay. Those memories are still fresh in my mind. Yunjin unnie is like my real older sister, when she cuts some fruits up she feeds me a piece, and leaves them in the fridge for me to eat later on. And when I’m sitting still she says “You’re really cute” right away (laugh). Kazuha unnie is really thoughtful and kind-hearted. She’s someone who’s considerate about even the most trivial of things and puts others before herself. 

Q.14: You’re all full of affection. So, what do you like best about yourself? My bright personality? I laugh a lot so that’s why the unnies call me cute, but when I’m quiet it’s like the fun gets sucked out of Hong Eunchae. But I just like myself the most when I’m loud, acting like a kid, and laughing a ton. When I’m laughing, all my worries disappear.

Q.15: What do your school friends, who you laugh and chatter around with, now say about how you’re putting yourself out there in the world? Even so, I asked my closest friend about that, but since they know about all of the effort I’ve made even before becoming a trainee they said “I know that you’ve worked hard, so I’m also proud of you”. Maybe it’s because we’re so close that it was a luke-warm response, and instead of seeing me as a celebrity they just always say “Eunchae you looked pretty on TV today” to me (laugh). They said that being around other celebrities was more fascinating than me promoting as one!

Q.16: They waited for you to ask for their response, you really are besties. Deep down, I could feel that they’re proud of me. When we walk together in the streets and our song plays, or when a dance team performs a LE SSERAFIM song for a festival, I feel happy when they say “That’s your song playing!”. 

Q.17: You’re turning 17 internationally next year, and you’ll finally get your registration card, what’s the thing that you want to do first and foremost? I don’t really know what I want to do, but I first want to get pretty photos taken for my ID photo. I’ve seen Chaewon unnie’s ID photo and she looks so youthful and beautiful. I think I’ll be in great spirits if I get a pretty photo of me taken.

Q.18: What are lyrics among LE SSERAFIM’s songs that give you strength or you just like in particular? I like the lyrics ‘Even if it’s different from my fancy expectations / looking plain and shoddy / Find the good parts the good parts��� from the song “Good Parts (when the quality is bad but I am)” that’s on our new album. There are times when we make ourselves look great and fancy on the outside, but sometimes we can fail to meet expectations and feel like we don’t look so good. So I think that the message of “I love myself even if I’m lacking” is really cool and I want to have that mindset as well.

Q.19: What part in this line of work do you love? This may come off as being shameless, but hearing the loud cheers when I’m dancing and singing on the stage is just electrifying. I loved dancing so I started this job, and I have a huge desire to perform (laugh). The preparation period may have been really difficult and bleak, but back then just imagining that I could be doing all of this on stage made me feel like there was nothing I couldn’t do no matter how busy or exhausted I was.

Q.20: In the documentary “LE SSERAFIM – The World Is My Oyster” which records your journey to debut, you talked about your modest yet strong aspirations by saying “I want to make myself known to many people…”. Do you think that you have enough courage to “get to that amazing ending” just like the lyrics of “FEARLESS”? I don’t think I can say that I have enough, but I’ve gotten confidence from doing this album’s promotions and the year-end performances. Since now I know that there are so many people from across the world saying that our music and performances are cool!

I've played Cyberpunk twice before but your posts have inspired me to go for my third playthrough and first as male V so I can try out the Kerry romance. Also attempting to learn my way around the AMM mod so I can play around in photo mode more, cause I'm loving the virtual photography stuff. I'm hesitant to share though cause I feel like I barely know what I'm doing (especially since photography is my actual job and I feel like I should know what I'm doing 🤦‍♀️) and you're the only person I follow that's even into Cyberpunk. Anyway, sorry for the rambling, I guess I just wanted you to know your blog inspired someone 😊

Okayokayokay, but yes, first things first: I'm extremely biased obviously, but definitely go an play Kerry's romance! It's short (I'm just gonna assume you know his questline if you played the game twice before) but personally I found it so heartwarming and lighthearted and chaotic in a good way after all the horros V went through for the entirety of the game until then xD Also, Kerry is such a good, multilayered character and you're not gonna be in the slightest prepared for some of things he'll say to a romanced V (at least I wasn't, but I also mean that in the best way XD). Would love to hear your thoughts once you get there and I hope you'll love it as much as I do xD

Also!! Don't be shy to share your virtual photography stuff! Photography isn't my job, I do have a tiny bit of experience with it through uni (we had a half-year course once, with outdoor and photostudio shootings and all that, and I learned a lot and really enjoyed it). And it's true, there are some similarities, in terms of how to pick and frame your motives for example, but also: it's still very different tools you're using, so it's normal to not immediately get the hang of everything. I quickly went digging through my screenshot folder for some of my first pics I took in Cyberpunk just with basic photomode:

I still genuinely like all of these (even though I think I didn't share all of them publically so far). But looking back with what I've learned since then (the oldest is the one with Vince on his bike, from Dec 15th '22, the newest is the one with Kerry and Nibbles, from February 22nd '23) I also know what I'd do differently to make them even cooler now xD

AMM also had a bit of a learning curve for me, still does in some regards XD But it really brought my VP to the next level, just for the immense amount of new poses compared to the 20-something or so in vanilla photomode, the nicer and more natural facial expressions, and yeah... the ability to spawn multiple characters xD You can do shippy stuff even with vanilla photomode, but with AMM there's... so... many... possibilities...

ALSO! What I'm still trying to get the hang of but which is so so nice and one of the main things I'd change about my old screenies: custom lights. Spawning different colour lights, basically having your own little photostudio setup wherever you want, however complex or simple you want, is amazing and makes a huuuge difference!!

An example of my learning curve with AMM and one of my favourite photo subjects: Arasaka!Vince

Feb 2nd 2023: The first time I styled Vince to look like he did during his time with Arasaka, vanilla photomode, the only mod I had was one to enter full CC with a shortcut whenever and everywhere. Already pretty cool shot, but in hindsight, the lighting is so bad xD I think I have a version of this edited to death in Photoshop somewhere, but I can't find it atm. PS helped fix the lighting a bit, but yeh... it's still not ideal, but not much you can do about it in vanilla except play with exposure and contrast more in the effects tab.

March 12th 2023: Spawned Vince with AMM, I think the pose is still a basic one that you also have in Photomode though. But his expression is an AMM one, there's custom lights, and I made use of AMM's awesome feature that lets you teleport to locations that are usually off limits (here the Arasaka Counterintel office you only get to see during the Corpo lifepath quest). Already so much better just with some red backlight and a bright frontal light that actually makes his face visible! XD This is also completely unedited!

May 7th 2023: One of my recent faves, post-graphics update, which also made everything look so much nicer in general! I think I had three custom lights (pale blue from the front, bright yellow from the left, and a small white one from top). And I've become a bit less scared about getting up close and personal into his personal space XD

TL;DR: It's a process! We're all starting somewhere, and if you're not comfortable sharing your stuff yet, that's completely fine. It's a learning curve, too, but don't give up :D I think I've really discovered an amazing new creative hobby through this game in the shape of virtual photography (and unlike real people, silly pixel men will hold their pose forever without flinching and I can fly around them and take pics from every angle... but admittedly, getting them to do exactly what I want is definitely a challenge sometimes, cause I can only say "noo, go 20 pixels further in Z direction... noo, too far, 1 pixel back again!! noo, look at Kerry, don't look at yourself, that's weird, stop moving your head around so much!" but when you then get that one perfect shot it's worth the effort and fiddling XD patience really really is key though).

Progress Post: 10 Months Difference 

I feel like it’s time that I share a little of my story with you guys! This post takes a bit of bravery for me to post, because I still find some of these pics a little uncomfortable to look at but I want to put more of my experience on this blog in case it helps someone else. 💪 

PS- PLEASE don’t compare yourself to these pictures, my feelings about my body relate to me alone and are no statement about anyone else, bodies are beautiful at all sizes and my changes were to make me feel more comfortable and connected to my body.

This first picture is still hard for me to look at. I was on a quick weekend trip to see family and I had thrown on an old bikini to swim in the sea (one of my favourite things!) and had a great time. I didn’t realise this picture had been taken until afterwards, and when I saw it I felt so upset, so embarrassed that people had seen me this way. 

It is, in fairness, a terrible picture- I was shiny and pink from the sun, was still bloated from eating, the bikini no longer fit well and I wasn’t posed in any way. I wasn’t unhappy during this time, but my mental image of my body didn’t match what I saw in pictures, and it was jarring to see this. I had worked insanely hard for the past year, giving up all my time to my degree and then celebrating with all my friends and family afterwards. I was really proud of myself and I don’t regret putting all my energy into my work at all. 

However, my clothes no longer fit, I was in the habit of drinking far too much, and I had lost all connection with my body. I was terrified of going to appointments at doctors, so scared to be told that I was now ‘officially’ overweight, and most of all, convinced that my weight would continue to grow whatever I did.

When I first started losing weight, I was mostly just restricting calories as much as possible. I would eat between 1400-1800 calories per day, which left me fuzzy-brained, tired and constantly thinking about food. All day I would just be distracting myself from thoughts of food, whether I was hungry or not it became an obsession. 

I was just over 180lbs/13 stone when I started measuring, and the first 15lbs came off pretty quickly. I started doing HIIT workouts regularly, and started slowly getting a little stronger. As I began exercising more, I realised I couldn’t continue without eating more, and being more conscious of what I was eating beyond just calories. (Notes: I don’t track macros and currently don’t buy any protein products, but I eat lots of nuts/seeds and fortified vegetarian products to ensure I’m getting plenty of protein, iron and B12 in my diet!)

I then took up a super physically demanding temp job in December, and to survive I ended up eating so much more than I was used to (around/over 3000 calories/day). I was honestly surprised to find I kept losing weight during this, but it really taught me a valuable lesson about how there’s more than one way to lose weight, and that your body really needs to be fuelled right to function properly.

These days, I eat 1900-2300 calories per day and am very, verrry slowly still losing weight. I alternate running training and HIIT workouts, with regular rest days when I want them. I love the variety in my workouts, I feel so connected to my body and I’m stronger than ever. 

As a little comparison, the first picture here was me at my lowest adult weight. I was working a job where I was always anxious, my shared house was impossible to cook in and I would run miles at the gym most days as a release. I remember only eating around 750 calories for days on end when I started that job. 

You might think I look the same or ‘better’ in the first picture, but I was so physically weak, self conscious and becoming obsessed with trying to appeal to all the wrong people. I’m so much stronger now, I love how my body moves and feels, I know how to fuel myself properly and I am so adaptable and forgiving toward myself. 

I’ve unlearnt a lot of dangerous myths about health, fitness and weight, gained a lot of perspective and am so excited to keep working on me, whatever that looks like!

off to one of my favourite posts: tell me about your №1

I really ♡ Nakamura Yuuichi (中村優一; ← actor, not seiyuu!!!! )

He is and will ever be the person I will LOVE the most of all those j-actors^^

He is such a lovely dork and I really like his smile.

Some facts first:

① born October 8, 1987 [he is 2½ weeks older than me笑] ② nickname ~Channaka~「ちゃんなか」(Naka-chan backwards) ③ best known for his role ‘Sakurai Yuuto’ (Kamen Rider Zeronos) in Kamen Rider Den-O (2007)… but did you know that he actually played ‘Kiriya Kyousuke’ in ‘Kamen Rider Hibiki’ (the first actor to portray 2 Kamen Rider)

④ assigned to G-Star.Pro ( ジースター・プロ ) ⑤ has 2 Chihuahua ~Zero~ (Kamen Rider Zeronos) & ~Spica~ ↓ ↓ ↓ (Futatsu no Spica)

⑥ was part of Johnny’s Jr. (~2003)

⑦ had poor health as a child (asthma) [same here!!! in and out of the hospital] ⑧ loves reading shoujo-manga (ex: Good Morning Call グッドモーニング・コール / he had a cameo in the drama adaptation epi.15/16) and listening to jpop (Shounan no Kaze, Kis-My-Ft2, EXILE, CHEMISTRY, AAA ← friends with Nishijima Takahiro & Atae Shinjirou since ‘Delicious Gakuin’) ⑨ former member of a group of actors called D-Boys

as I talked about in one of my earlier posts… I really feel connected to Channaka and he kinda ‘helped’ me during the hardest time of my life. [check out my post about ‘Doukyuusei’ if you want to know why^^]

… when I heard he would be in the special unit called D☆DATE (together with Araki Hirofumi, Igarashi Shunji, Seto Koji & the new member Horii Arata) in 2010, I was so happy for him… because he deserved some more attention! He is one of the few boys who didn’t act in Tenimyu and that was really hard for him, because most of the D-Boys acted in it and became kind of “famous” for it.

In interviews he often talked about that he couldn’t get over the fact the he didn’t have a chance to be in Tenimyu and he couldn’t understand why, especially because he came out first at the 1st D-Boys audition.

And finally he got the attention he deserves, the most unthinkable thing ever happened. Right before his new stageplay (D-BOYS STAGE 2010 trial-2 ラストゲーム ) it was announced that he will take a break from work to cure his ‘chronicle back pain’. It was a huge shock for me because they announced it right before I moved to Japan. I still remember that I was sitting on my packed boxes in the livingroom when my friend called and told me the news…

almost a 1 year later we still had no real information about his condition… it was really depressing. I went to almost all D☆DATE events wearing orange things/stars (his member colour) and was even on TV (はなまるマーケット hanamaru market) with these ↓ ↓ ↓  uchiwas ↓ ↓ ↓  just to show that we were still waiting for him T^T

At the 1st Concert Tour of D☆DATE we finally got some ‘news’. They talked about him, said that it’s sad he couldn’t make it in time for the concert, but he would be trying his best to show up on stage again as soon as possible. I was crying while they showed pictures of him during the con because I felt so helpless.

After all the terrible things that happend in the first half of 2011 (the Fukushima-incident, the sudden death of my aunt, trouble with my former workplace…) I was kinda happy to hear that Channaka was still part of the group and the members where all waiting for his comeback!!! I thought that it would be only a matter of time until I could finally see him safe and sound on stage again… I was soooo motivated that I created a photo album with many pictures from fans all around the world to cheer him up and show him that soooooooooooo many people are waiting for him!!! I wrote the first fanletter (~8pages) of my life and told him that his fans would always support him and would wait for him as long as it would take for him to recover… and I wrote something that some fans would never understand… ‘If you wanna quit, don’t worry about us… we will respect your decision!!’ actually there is a reason why I wrote something like that…  

I heard from a friend who worked as a model for Watanabe Enertainment, that he had no ‘back-pain-problems’ at all!!! He was suffering from depression… [he had a hard time in August 2010 and realised that he couldn’t perform with this unstable condition, so he stopped coming to rehearsal 2 weeks before the actual stage… I can understand that the other D-Boys member were not amused about it… but what I heard from my friend made me really sad: they started to bully Channaka and told him to quit… especially the D☆DATE members didn’t want him to come back!!!… from my experience with the industry in Japan, this is quite common (especially Johnny’s Enertainment) but I still find it hard to understand]  ← I got this information from a friend, no official statement!!! + I don’t hate any D-Boys members… I’m just sad about the fact at all!!!

And than,on November 8th, 2011 (4 weeks after I handed out my letter & 2 weeks after my B-day) it was announced that he would retire from D☆DATE/D-Boys ＿|￣|○ (I had never expected that this would happen… I cried a lot!! who would think that this little sentences in a little fanletter from a little foreign girl would come reality. I don’t believe that it was the trigger for his decision… but still… the timing… I was shocked) The ‘official’ statement was ‘in order to recover he needs to conentrate on rehabilation more’… but I couldn’t believe this anymore!!!

The following year Watanabe announced that he would completely retire from the entertainment world and I was crashed… I met soooo many people from the industry (not only because I went to a lot of events… my job gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of people in private) but the only person I ever wished to meet in Japan ‘disappeared’ and my chances to ever see him in person were almost 0…

And than in the beginning of 2013, he all of a sudden started his new blog where he posted pictures of him posing with friends (O_O) Rumors started to spread that he opened up a café/bakery with a friend (but I have no detailed information about that). I was so relieved that he was doing fine^^

AAAAAAAND 1½ years later the best thing ever happened!!!! August 30th, 2014: Nakamura Yuuichi returned to the entertainment industry. I was jumping up and down in my room, called my best friend (who isn’t even a fan at all笑) and poured my whole soul out^^

It took a while for him to come back on screen, but it was worth waiting for!!! The first role he represented after his comeback was ‘Sakurai Yuuto’ in  ‘Superhero Taisen GP Kamen Rider 3 Gou’ (スーパーヒーロー大戦GP 仮面ライダー3号)

I think you get it by now… Kamen Rider Den-O (Sakurai Yuuto/Ootsuka Houchuu aka Denebe) means a lot to him!!! and if you are still not convinced… try to listen to the recording from ‘Kamen-Raji-Ranger 仮面ラジレンジャー’ I was at the venue when they recorded the show T^T aaaaaand just for the records…

this was the first time seeing him in person right in front of me!!!!!!!!!!!!! (August 18th, 2015 will go down in history^^) can you believe it… it took me almost 5 years to meet him (O_O)

Hatori Novel Smexy scene 1

I'm not good at drawing, and I'm good at writing either so I hope this could somewhat serve at a present for fellow Domestica fans on Hatori’s birthday

Please note that it's translated by Google translate + a few more translator+ some common sense or interpretation so please take it with a grain of salt. I don't know Japanese beyond the basic characters but I'm just doing it because I love them so much

Even though the translation probably sucks, please don’t bring it anywhere since I spent a ton of time on it and just want to share.

Prior to this scene, Hatori and Yoshino were on a date at to collect materials for the manuscript. The setting is on Christmas’eve. They went to a Chinese restaurant to eat together, and while the food was good, Yoshino commented that Tori’s food was still better. During the meal, Hatori had to step outside for a work phone call because a newbie author (female, 2nd year college) wanted to ask his opinion on her storyboard.

Funny note: Hatori hated taking pictures but still posed as models for Yoshino to take pics anyway. 

Some touching lines:

Speaking of the real intention, it is not without thinking that this convenient dream will be awakened by the sudden impetus. The end may come someday, but I'm still going to enjoy this happiness. Even if this comes to an end some day, now that you have enjoyed all this happiness, even if you wake up from a dream, you will never forget it.

“------You know. Normally, you wouldn’t go home on a day like this?”

 He didn't understand what Yoshino was saying, and the former had a perplexed face. In response to such a dull reaction from Hatori, Yoshino stamped his feet on the ground.

 I looked(T/N: look, but with eyes wide open) at Yoshino who raised his voice frustratingly. I couldn’t hide the surprise that Yoshino also perceived today as a date.  

 “What’s with that face! Even though you can add embarrassing scenes to a plot, what do you mean you can't do it in real life……”

 Yoshino murmured the dissatisfying words. I rubbed my eyes to see if I was having a convenient dream, but it seemed to be reality.

 “Read the mood in times like this!”

 He held his breath against Yoshino who glared at him with a red face.

 In retrospect, today's Yoshino was somewhat strange from the beginning. I wondered if it might even snow, but I would be troubled if he got angry.  

 “Can I stay the night?”

 When asked straight, Yoshino dyed red to his neck and nodded a little.  

Both of them were silent on their way to Yoshino’s room. Every step I took made me feel more nervous. My body temperature gradually rose, even though the cold night breeze was brushing my cheeks.

 Hatori picked up the key and opened the front door. At that moment, Yoshino felt small and seemed to be holding his breath.  

 “Thank- thank you”

 Open the door and encourage Yoshino to enter first. Yoshino’s movement walking in front of me started to feel more jerky.  

 “Um, do you want something to drink?”

 The voice which asked the question was trembling too. Even though I was just nervous, it seemed like Yoshino's tension was infectious.  

 I guessed I should have gotten used to it, since we had already done it so many times, but I didn’t want to look so dismayed in front of the person I liked.

 “No”

 “Ah, then how about a shower?

 “……Ah”

 His pink nape caused the little amount of reason remaining in me to give away. I held Yoshino’s shoulders, turned him around, and strongly kissed him.

 “Nnn……?”

 Perhaps surprised by Hatori's brute force, Yoshino’s eyes were wide open. However, immediately, the body’s tension was released and his eyelids lowered.  Eating his lips and twisting his tongue, Yoshino put his hands on Hatori's back. As the kiss deepened, the more they clung into each other.(T/N: literal translation is “the stronger the clinging force became”)

 “That, that was just conditioned reflex……”

 “Is that so?”

 “What do you want to say!”

 “I didn’t say anything”

 “There's something written all over your face”  

 It was a sulking look, but there was sweetness in the gaze (T/N: not very sure about this part). Towards Yoshino who showed a sullen face due to the embarrassment, sadistic desires were aroused.

 “What is written, can you tell me carefully?”

 “Eh?-----Uwa”

 Heading to the bedroom while holding the waist, they fell into the bed entangled together.

 “Oi Tori----------”

 Fueled by Yoshino's moist eyes, he kissed him again as if he was being sucked in. He repeated the devouring kisses and ran his hands over Yoshino's clothes. I thought the 1st pic could be when Garou and Badd were kinda like, spending time somewhere outside on summer day, then one of them showing their softer side in front of the other, and it was the exact moment he just realized that he has a big crush for his bestfriend 😳💘💕

I've got 2 versions: •Badd, who usually looks grumpy and tough, was smiling brightly in front of Garou. Garou was lovestrucked and smittened by Badd's cute angelic smile, then trying so hard to deny the fact that he has fallen in love with his childhood hero and he wanted Badd to smiling more often only for him.. •Garou, who still retained his pure softer side thanks to Badd being his childhood hero and BFF, was smiling full of joy towards Badd. Badd immediately melting on the inside by Garou's adorable smile then slowly realizing he was in love with him all along..

Personally I like the 2nd pic the Most, because it would be so soft if Badd was holding monster Garou's face with such tenderness to calm him down, reassuring Garou that he's alright so no need to go berserk anymore. Bonus point if it was happened after some battle gone wrong in their mission and Badd got injured. But don't worry he's fine, though! That's why Badd tried to stop Garou from rampaging after he transformed out of rage.

Or maybe Badd was saying that he will always loving Garou no matter what he is, monster or not. Whereas Garou seems like he was staring calmly at Badd in silence, yet on the inside he has been very touched by Badd's genuine kindness. He never expected there's someone who is still willing to love him even after he transformed into a monster.. :"")💕

I also really like the 3rd pic because Nerdy Garou™ is always so good! Imagine Garou was in the middle of tutoring Badd, his bestfriend and also his secret crush. Then in the middle of explaining some difficult subject, Garou realized that his bestfriend didn't exactly concentrated to the lesson, but instead stealing glances on him when he thought Garou wasn't aware.

It was like Badd couldn't handle the Hotness™ of Nerd Garou in the full glory. It was like witnessing a whole different persona of Garou as he's usually being a totally chaotic dramatic guy.

Not to mention Garou was wearing reading glasses at that time and being all serious! Badd was experiencing Gay Panic™ because of that, lmao. Thus Garou takes advantage of the situation by teasing or flirting with him.. 🐺👓📚

Despite the cutesy pose for this picture, my mind wanted me to think this idea: Since I said it could be for Webcomic Batarou, imagine Badd was the one on the left part and Garou on the right part, both gesturing that pose as a victory for surviving Neo Heroes' absolute nonsense horrible assaults.

The redeemed Garou, as clueless as ever about what was just happened to him (poor him he looks so tired), also not familiar about doing "love sign" gesture, has the expression exactly like in the reference. It would be kinda adorable, though! Whereas Badd, instead of smiling cutely like in the reference pic, he was doing that Handsome Smirk™ that he did in the webcomic chapter just before he released himself from the restraining chains. You know the one.. 😏✨

I wasn't really in a very sharing mood when I went to brussels but I feel like sharing yesterday now bc it was honestly just incredible despite the rain and cold we caught and despite the people in front of me making my life hell to see the concert despite that I only had 2 people in front of me but anyway :^)

before i actually jump into it tbh it needs to be said, mmt was really beyond disorganised this time we spent waiting on the rain and cold for way too long (to the point that the girls apologised for this at the concert as if it's their fault...), not to mention how they really didn't even bother to put people by the order of the numbers they had given us when they gave us the wristbands... and speaking of numbers, they really hadn't even put the VIP numbers on the box to pick them among the rest for the gifts dc were giving, and the GA tickets hadn't even been assigned numbers... and not to mention how delayed the concert was and how rushed the high 5 was bc of there being over 300 VIP's? how is that a VIP ticket if you might have over 200 people in front of you. I don't really know what happened but I hope they learnt from this experience and that the next stops go way more smoothly

for the ots event gahyeon was first, and I kept asking her if it was okay for her to sign the duck

in case that it wasn't so I could go get the album I had brought as back up. she said it was okay and I still insisted a bit to make sure and she was rly cute and determined about it, she finished signing and gave me her hand to high 5 and I just ended up locking fingers with her. then my friend who was before me was talking to bora who was next and she told her we had gone to brussels and pointed to me, and bora looked at me and was like 'oh! I remember you' and I was rly skeptical and was like 'really? do you?' then suddenly the 4 of us were talking about brussels and they were rly surprised we were there too, I said bye to gahyeon and we held hands again then I moved to bora, got the duck in front of her and she was like 'is it me?' and I was like 'no it's me' and she laughed and said cute. then I asked to compare hand sizes and we did and her hand was smaller than mine sjdjjdjdjdjdjd siyeon even looked as well bc me and bora were super shocked and made a lot of noise and siyeon was like o_o and then bora was like 'but you're smaller than me' and I started messing with her and being like 'are you really sure about that?' and she was like 'yes' and I was like 'are you really?' and we kept on like that until I moved to siyeon. who had already signed the duck when I got to her zjjdjx she was holding her hand high for me to high 5 and I just held her hand and asked her if she had liked the cake in brussels but she wasn't understanding the word brussels and my brain wasn't remembering the word belgium other than in portuguese until I moved to minji but it's okay ✊🏻😔 then I got to minji and she had also already signed the duck, and she was seriously so cute about it, she made sure to show me where she signed it :( i can't remember what I told her bc minji was rly the most rushed member for me but I remember holding her hand so it's okay. then for dami, I told her that the song she released was really awesome and that I was looking forward to her future work and she reached for my hand super touched and held it thanking me and it was just a really genuine moment 😌💖 then yoohyeon, I thanked her for making the effort of writing to us in english and that was really motivating for me to keep learning korean and she looked so touched and gave me her hand and interlocked fingers with me 😭

then for the pic I asked bora if she could be next to me bc you know what life is too short and she actually looked super flattered that I was asking for her and i remember that for the 2nd pic i wanted to be like interacting a bit more with siyeon as well and i feel like i kinda just ended up in an awkward pose but it's okay akskskd then when I was leaving Bora lowkey held my arm while saying goodbye and it was cute....

then at the concert the members in general are just super good at fanservice and making you feel seen, I really wasn't doing much more other than looking and smiling at them and still I know I shared some moments with them smsmksjd siyeon's mood rly went up as the concert was going on you can rly tell she feeds off the crowd's energy and it's amazing to see. the handong cardboard thing was super cute and apart from wonderland they just left handong's lines as is and left the space for her in the choreo, even when they covered havana. I think they cut the concert kinda short tho bc jiu, sua, and yoohyeon got ready to do taki taki more than once but then never performed it... then bora finding me in the crowd after her thank you speech and mouthing thank you to me was really probably the biggest highlight of that concert to me and it was just really super touching and if I wasn't already trying to do the most I can for them, yesterday would've definitely changed my mind

bora also pointed to handong's cardboard at the end of their thank you speeches and said 'thank you handong!' and it was cute and they promised to come back as 7

the high 5 event was rly rushed tho mmt rly sucked this time, I just went through all of them and said 'see you in Paris' and they seemed happy about that and they all said thank you (tho I think that was just a rly automatic response sjdkd) and replied 'see you in paris' so that's that sksjdjd

2020 Megaman Valentine’s Day Contest - Cat. 2 (Humor) Results!

For the humor category this year, the theme focused on bubble-themed characters from any Mega Man series “bombing” a romantic bubble bath scene between another couple to ruin the romance.

There were a total of 11 entries for this category this year. Thank you all for your participation! Just like for the talent entries, I really went back and forth on deciding placements, so you did not make it easy on me!

You might think the token Akane bribery pic is a surefire way to win my contests, but you would be wr...Ok, yeah, sorry, it looks that way, doesn’t it? But in terms of pure comedic setup, in order to have Cancer Bubble interrupt at the most inopportune time, janitorbot’s comic made me laugh the most. Along with all the great facial expressions in each panel, I found this piece very amusing!

I liked how you set up the romantic scene to start out the comic. I felt bad for Splashy, but I also had to laugh that Bubble Man’s best way of consoling her, when he just ruined her relaxing me-time, was to pat her on the helmet repeatedly. Cute, and hit the right feels. Her pained expressions in the last two panels make me smile, even if I feel bad for her head getting tapped like a whack-a-mole.

Tia’s look of dread walking in on a seemingly naked Ace, with his ‘Mega Snack’ just swaying in the wind for the whole room to see, might feel more embarrassing than funny. But that sinister Cancer Bubble sure seems to be enjoying the show he’s created, after swiping Ace’s trunks at the absolute worst moment for the Satella Police officer. XD Part of me wishes there was a reaction shot of Ace’s face as well for comedic value, (especially if snippy crab claws grabbed the trunks right off his body...I mean, yikes, I wouldn’t want them near me down there!) even though I know it’d take away from the composition a bit. Either way, my imagination leads me to think of those funny reactions in my head, without directly seeing them.

Hate to burst X and Zero’s bubble, but it seems like a junky old robot is about to put them in danger (wrap)! X’s waving hand and jump-back reaction to seeing Burst Man pop out, while Zero just nonchalantly looks on made me smile.

I literally could hear the slurping sounds in my head as I read this. And how polite of Snake Man to not use tongue when Gemini went in for the kiss, despite it hanging out in every other part of scene. XD I also like how Snake Man’s snake head eye also adjusted in reaction to being interrupted, that was clever and amusing!

I really thought the pop-up Screw Driver as a table for their champagne glasses was a neat, creative idea! Both Rock and Splash are at ease, and it’s a very cute scene, but it leaves me wondering what Bubble’s plan actually is here. What Macbeth-ian witchcraft and burning sensation is he about to cause?!

Bringing new meaning to drawing a hot bath, I liked your concept of the embarrassing, innocent walk-in here. Both putting Heat comfortably in a bubble bath, along with Bubble Man’s reaction/pose to seeing Heat cuddling his daki in the bath were very amusing. Something more than the flames of justice are burning in Heat Man’s heart. The heart-shaped flame atop Fire Man’s head was a cute addition to your dakimakura.

No movie gets me in the mood more than StarPotterReloaded. I mean, I don’t know how anyone gets past the first 10 minutes. Especially with a pair of luscious lips like that on the screen. LOL With all the movie magic alterations Videoman made in many an Axess episode, it seems like only fitting karma for a film to be ruined on him - and ruin his moment - here.

As much as I know this is unfinished and not how you wanted to submit it, I’m definitely interested in where you do eventually take it. From Jewel’s flirtatiousness, the double-entendres, and ‘gemsona’ scene, to a happy munching Catfish, there’s a lot that gave me a big smile already.

Here we’ve got the ol’ mistakenly-swapped bubble box...or was it? Without actively showing up in the bath scene, Bubble Man makes his presence known with bubble-encased spiky bombs, that also apparently happen to play his stage theme song. I didn’t know Robot Masters had fingernails to clip, so that made me laugh, too! Good job of balancing the cute, romantic scene to start it out, with the more devious and sinister interruption in your comic.

As the only pixel artist in this category, I applaud you for doing so well in a different medium. They have their own nice, unique look from the typical Mega Man sprites. And even without heavy detail, the tub/bubble part of the scene itself stands out in a really nice way! Love how expressive each character is, as Bubble Lead Rock is about to burst everyone’s bubble, once contact is soon made.

i wont compare these much to the renewal versions but i will say.. the renewals do look better <3 i do like the outfits for the most part!! the summer miku going for swimwear is actually cute i think it's a cute outfit & I usually hate swimsuit figs but this one might get a pass. winter is cute but shes angled down too much + autumn i dont care for really her waist is super skinny though and shes angled/twisted weird.. i have nothing bad to say about the spring one <3

i give this a 6/10 (6.25/10, highest ranking is spring + lowest is autumn)

these i think are a better looking line than the first they're a lot more dynamic and just really cute. fall has an upskirting problem which is my biggest issue it's really gross i saw it in an unboxing vid which is ): bc i think her fall one is otherwise really cute. Winter is my fav improvement and im not just saying that bc i own/won her -_- i really like the black leggings + her skirt is really cute and shes actually looking up. Spring is still suuuuper cute i love how big and bright her eyes are, i honestly dont know if i prefer the renewed pink or the original dark but they're both cute i really like the outfit tbh.. and i have nothing new to say about summer miku. these all except spring mostly loss the hair gradience which i dont think is bad i really like the colors

this set gets a 7/10, better than the original but i was really excited for the fall and it let me down (7.25/10 ♡winter/spring, Xfall)

THIS SET IS SUPER CUTE they went for holiday themes which is nice + besides spring i think these are so so so good!! spring is a really tacky bunny outfit and it's too revealing imo.. i think if they changed her top it would be much cuter but it being how it is i simply would not want to own her. i looove how round winter is esp what they did w the hair she just looks so friendly i love the halo too it just has a nice chunky feel to it [: fall well i do love witch mikus and this one is just really cute i love the face model they used shes just really excellent i loove it.. summer is also really cool a lot of summer themes go for beach but i love the festival theme her outfit is very fun and cute and nice

7/10 major point loss for spring though (♡autumn(but the other 2 are really good too), X spring)

incomplete set i couldnt find a marked 3rd season winter but this is like a currently running set so idk anyway*

i like the pink gradience in this springs hair more than the "original clothes" set it's cute also a fairy is just a cute choice at first when i saw her i was kind of put off but seeing the actual figure she looks really good i really love the hair buns and her dress is cute overall just very nice (: i really really love this autumn one the pose and outfit are super cute and i liked the toned down hair color her shoes are cute the leaves are cute just a very cute autumn design her bangs are super detailed but that's okay ig it doesnt tale much away. summer i very much despise it's similar to the 2nd season spring where i would just now own this and i think swimsuit figures are just gross to begin with i think the majority of people who own this summer miku are freaks tbh.. she has like a double swimsuit thing going on which idrc for the top but the bottom is just gross and bad and the garter or whatever on her thigh is just bad i think if she had her hoodie zipped up or something that would be fine i like the shoes and miku tube but that's about it her face isnt very cute and idk if i like the green fade in in her hair i get it's like the ocean but its :/

this gets like a 6/10 major points off for summer miku

also idk if this is just a standalone taito winter fig or if its supposed to go w the 3rd season set anyway i own a plush version of this one the outfit is kind of very tacky but its mostly cute ig i like the hair ribbons um that's about it ig this one doesnt evoke much in me tbh
