Person A, nodding, thinking the other is just being shy and now in Hyper-British mode, insists on offering tea: Spot of tea?

Person B, who has been talking with their British in-law this whole time, misheard what they said but wants to impress so tries to repeat them: Pot of tea?

Person A, who is Person B's mother-in-law, is now convinced Person B has confirmed their desire for tea, smiles and says: I'll make some tea!
