Ginny’s heart was pounding as she waited to walk down the aisle. Her mother had just gone to join Harry.

Her dad walked into the room and looked at her fondly. “You look beautiful.”

“Thank you.” She readjusted the flowers in her hand. “How was Harry?”

“Good. Nervous. We had a good talk,” his dad told her.

She raised her eyebrows. “You didn’t give him a lecture, did you?”

She giggled and leaned against him, her arms wrapping around his waist as she leaned against his chest. She looked up and met his eyes, making sure to look completely enamoured. “Stop it,” she said with another fake chuckle.

“I would have believed that,” he admitted while smiling brightly.

She gave a short nod. “It has been tried and tested.”

“All those poor men... you’ll have them all fooled,” he responded. His hand slipped up her side. As it came higher, she stopped him.

“Not that spot,” she said. “It’s sensitive.”

His eyebrows raised, his hand remaining there.

“No, Harry. I am telling you. You can’t do that; you’ll get me all hot and bothered. Don’t start something you’re not going to finish.”

He smiled smugly and his thumb rubbed over the spot.
