( i am not an astrologer just a silly girl that knows a lot about astrology🤓)

˚✧ lowkey though in my astrology journey ive learned to lower expectations for how you think something can go even if given the “perfect” synastry aspects or soulmate indicators. any of it honestly. lunar return charts do not work perfectly for every month. sometimes even transits aren’t even really felt strongly. what i’m trying to say is see things as opportunities not finalities.

˚✧ transit 8h Northnode conjucted my chart ruler , trine my natal pluto, transit 8h chiron conjuncted my natal sun sun, transit 1h mercury square natal 4h pluto- When I had another life altering event that essentially changed dynamics within how i relate to others in my family.

˚✧ vertex in 8th house in my lunar return chart when i lost my virginity☠️

˚✧ currently have the sun & moon in my 12th house lunar return chart & am absolutely going through it😭😭😭 edit: also going through a mental breakthrough tho which might have something to do with 1h pluto in that same chart so…🙏

˚✧ transit chiron conjuct my natal sun when i was in just the most terrible mood imaginable…

˚✧ transit venus conjuct my natal jupiter the day i met a romantic partner!!

˚✧ i also had vertex ,chiron ,& north node in my 7h lunar return chart when i met them too!

˚✧ okay but the month i had north node and both saturn & neptune retrograding in my 7th house i could not stop thinking ab my ex & eventually ended up texting him😭

˚✧ this is random but is in my head bc ive been watching bob ross videos lately LOL. but i was wondering why he had so much success and after looking at his chart, i feel like like it could possibly be linked to his libra stellium. he had libra mercury, neptune ,& mars. It definitely feels like he would have an ambition for beauty , making something beautiful, an “eye” for beautiful things , or speaking in a beautiful way.

˚✧ i can also say that with south node currently transiting my 1st house as a virgo rising starting literally yesterday i already feel like this weight of feeling like i have to be perfect and appear as such is fading 100%. big on embracing imperfection….🤔

˚✧ so another instance where i had a partners moon square my mercury (their moon was in my 5h) he was like super lovey with me to the point of love bombing , but it just made me feel kind of smothered/awkward when he would make like grand romantic gestures. (his natal moon was also in 7h🫢)

˚✧ a transformative relationship came to me when the asc dc angles were in my natal 1st/7th houses in my lunar return chart!!

˚✧ i definitely recommend doing “solar return synastry charts” between you and those close to you as i think it provides valuable insight on what events occur between you or others in that year! A chart between me and my best friend showed her jupiter in the 10th house squaring my 12h moon, 6h venus ,& 6h saturn in the src.It showed how she has started to work more hours thus having less time to talk to me everyday or as consistently as possible making me feel kind of like :/ bc i want to talk to my bff!!! This showed up 3 months before my birthday so i def agree with solar return energy showing up early.

˚✧ ive said it before but i will say it again when you meet someone of your rising sign they are essentially mirroring you BADDD. especially if you share placements together.

- lyla fit the manic pixie dream girl trope when she and sean first started being friends. she practically introduced him to a lot of good music, weed, parties, anything u could possibly think of. sean definitely put her on a pedestal in the beginnings of their friendship

Favorite

- their first kiss is the first thing I wrote. Did a lot of expanding from there and a lot of the ideas of what the story would even be came from it. Both most important and necessary

-the scene where viktor and jinx go for a walk and talk about being outsiders in piltover

- weirdly the flashback where viktor was ill in chapter 3? It was not supposed to be that …. Way. Idk remember coming home was my depression project and that flashback was the first time I felt myself reconnecting with my love for writing. Also necessary.

- CAT THIEVERY SCENE was just a blast. Very freeing to be so ridiculous but have that peppered in with sincerity. But all the shenanigans of it all were so fun like Jayce waving to singed and the stabbing the shoebox etc etc.

-I’m realizing that a lot of these will feel necessary because even with fic I don’t try to write too pointlessly. I like each scene to add something. I definetly have a lot of repeated moments. And chapter 10 went in a very random fluff direction because I had uhhh fallen victim to the ao3 curse lmfao and just needed to have a silly goofy time.

-that being said when cait and vi discover them 😭 had that image in my head from very early on for some reason

- sketchbook love confession in chapter 11. It was fun figuring out a way an ‘I love you’ could actually stick and feel real . And I knew I had to do something with Jayce’s art hobby

- Jayce coming home drunk in chapter 12

- weirdly , the student town hall fiasco and similarly the sit in scene after

-Jayce getting his migraine

- the scene they have in the lab where they come up with a new idea Jayce almost knocks over the table

- them finding their place

- the scene with viktor and ximena in the kitchen was very very very emotionally intense for me in a way that felt exciting

Super Necessary but challenging

- their falling out flashback. In so many ways.

- viktor turning down Jayce for Christmas

- like the entirety of chapter 9 lmfao - sex scenes are such a bitch - they’re super similar to physical fight scenes for me. Which are like. The writers equivalent of drawing hands. So important to balance the actual choreography of the thing with feeling - and then relying on feeling to really drive the choreography of it. They’re hard to plan for that reason - this also applies to their later scenes. Each of the three for me was really necessary - or that was the intent. (I find most sex scenes in most things are and the phrase “unnecessary sex scene” a big red flag in critiquing work)

-all the moments I had to continue making things harder for jinx 😭

- their conversation about what they wanted for their future after discovering cait and vis marriage

- the blackmailing Marcus scene !

- the conversation between Mel and viktor on the balcony at the end of chapter 11

- the rooftop scene with jinx - so much I could say about the planning of that one lmfao

- obviously the proposal - which I was still debating almost until the hour I published it ☠️

Happy to elaborate on any of these I realized very quickly if I spoke on each one this would become a novel SHSJAJAJAJA. I know I’m missing so many. I wrote coming home in such a weird haze.

Some highlights: Kibō my beloved 😍, the entire anime block was to die for! I loved every second of it! Non-stop tears😭 snow falling was such a treat. It’s a favourite of mine and Wakana’s cover is honestly amazing!!! When she started talking about the upcoming Kalafina Live I got so emotional. Everyone is so excited and they can’t wait for is to hear their harmony again. Hopefully they will sing snow falling in January 🙏🙏🙏Never heard that Kelly Clarkson song before but Wakana slayed! Overall it was such a good live with so many great performances. A few forgotten lyrics but that’s almost part of Wakana’s charm by now😅Her reaction is always so cute (I do feel bad for her though because it obviously bothers her).

The little talk with her cellist Masateru (Teru) Nishikata was super fun. For those of you who don’t know, he played the cello for Kalafina many times so they know each other well. This was the first time he joined one of Wakana‘s solo events. He was moved to tears and also beyond excited for the Kalafina reunion live. He mentioned regretting the sudden disbandment because they never got the chance to do a proper goodbye. Wakana is relieved about this reunion (even though it is also very sudden). Wonder if that means Teru will be one of the band members…?

Random side note: Poor girl was killed by her high heels today so she had to return to the stage with bare feet.

I hate myself for being shy during the send-off. Wish I would’ve been able to say something like last time🫣This time I was just too nervous and staff members were rushing me☠️ I think she recognised me though and wished me a safe journey back home.

Before the concert, I did some Wakana activities. First I had lunch at MinMin, a small 🥟gyoza🥟 restaurant. Then I went to see the exhibition at Ginza Art Aquarium. Such great experiences❣️

Of course I got all the merch. Wakana is so cute in the pamphlet photos💕💕What an adorable hairstyle! Also got a lot of snacks from fellow fans🤗

Hey! It's me again, a random person from here, after being lost for almost a whole month I come to bring...very little actually, I had started to make a drawing of Shigeo where he was in his ???percentage, a serious drawing as I call it...but when I started adding color I didn't like it anymore, so I practically abandoned it and I decided to doodle...as always the doodles ended up winning the battle so here's a normal Shige to practice his hair because for some reason I can't do it without him looking shorn 😭

I was basically planning to just upload Mob and that's it but I felt uncomfortable leaving him without a background so I started doing it...as you can see I put a little Dimple in the corners and my head with insomnia problems told me "Now, cute and all but you also have to show Dimple, it looked cute for your first time drawing him or not?!" So...yeah...I temporarily abandon Mob's background to do another canvas just for Dimple and save it with his layers still separated before going to the main canvas and joining and shrinking everything ┐⁠(⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠)⁠┌

The guy in question who took up more of my time than he should:

So again, I was about to save Dimple as it was but my head told me "Make him a background" and there you have me making a background for him too xD

Now, see the takoyakis in the frame?...well, since I've never drawn food I said "Oh no way, it turned out super cute, I have to save it separately right now!" And so I abandoned Dimple's canvas to store the takoyaki separately because I didn't want to lose the layers separately because I don't really know why 😭😔

The thing in question that also took me much more time than it should:

And again I had to do the "For the sake of God, make a bad background" for this too because if I didn't do it I simply wouldn't be able to live! And it wasn't until this that I was finally able to finish making the main canvas that was Mob!

Anyway, something good that I can emphasize?...I finally uploaded a digital drawing, yay! :D

Something bad?...it was hell because of how much I got distracted from the main goal and in the process abandoned a drawing that may or may not have had potential ☠️

It should be noted that I am rubbish at making backgrounds and that of the three drawings, the background that I liked the least is Dimple's, it could have been better, all three could have, but Dimple's more so...

Anyway, all I can say is that Mosaico 100 is a very positive change in my life...Ojalá Reigen fuera eterno 🥵

Lucanis is so cute 😭🥺💜✨🐦‍⬛ Emmrich is as well 🥺💜✨☠️

Some spoilers for Lucanis's romance under cut I have to gush and talk about him and Emmrich a little. They form a full necrosis team with my Rook which is great against Antaam encounters (and for a few bosses in the Crossroads behind locked doors), so I've gotten a good handful of their banter.

Also random thoughts and some comparisons from others a wee bit, since I'm not done.

Romanced Lucanis with my Crow because it felt right in my soul, and got to know that Emmrich ends up seeing Strife if not romanced himself 🥺💜 There's a brief cutscene between Lucanis and Emmrich discussing what would be a suitable date which Rook walks in on and is able to recommend.

Later there's follow-up banter between the two where Emmrich says Strife does indeed like knives as gifts (Lucanis had recommended knives as gifts prior), which Lucanis says he'll recommend his blacksmith. In a follow-up Emmrich asks who he gave a knife to as a gift, and Lucanis said another Crow a long time ago, and that he was never good at flirting like his cousin. When Emmrich asks why that didn't turn out as well as he assumed it would (since you think it would, right?) Lucanis reveals that he and the team had already met the Crow in question, and can glean his personality and why he wouldn't be into it, implying it was likely Viago.

Another banter has Emmrich expressing concern that he and Strife arr very different and don't have too much in common, to which Lucanis says the two like to be around each other and both like to discover things and poke them (in Emmrich's words then, a shared passion for discovery), which is more than can be said of Illario's string of partners. When Emmrich asks about Lucanis's dating history, he reveals Rook would be the only one, and he doesn't know what they see in him, but he's happy, and likes being around them.

I think I'm near the end of the game but so far his romance has been incredibly pure and friendly 🥺💜 There's only been one instance where they almost kiss, and nothing more. I could make the argument that Rook hangs out more with Davrin casually than Lucanis lol. You recruit Davrin after Lucanis but aside from taking him on missions and killing Antaam his bond progression is a lot slower/spaced out in segments different to the story. Davrin is a good comparison point since a lot of the middle of the story has to do with the Wardens, so building a bond with him goes incredibly fast and in a pretty steady order.

The titles of Lucanis's relationship phases is super cute though: Flirting with Danger, Personal Demon, and finally Rook's Talon.

I will kind of nitpick at BioWare's animations for general cutscenes though because the last personal mini quest/hangout with Lucanis I got, I probably would've preferred if both he and Rook reached across the table and held hands, grazed fingers, or for ease of factoring in race choice and animation differences, their pinkie or index reaches out to brush the other person's briefly, or if visually their coffee cups were touching but I'm very Repressed Victorian like that. Although IMO I think slight touches would be pretty big for Lucanis so those would be pretty meaningful for him to have someone to hold on to. Also Pride & Prejudice (2005) and period drama hand holding has me by the jugular so they would work really well in a fantasy setting.

I did hit flirt options with everyone else and instigated opening up for romance with everyone but Taash and Harding bc I wanted to see how that played out (it's very cute) and out of Emmrich, Bellara, Neve, Lucanis and Davrin, Bellara's is the only one that isn't interrupted before a kiss can happen (they don't kiss though, it's just a conversation). Emmrich's doesn't have a kiss at that point but there is an interruption. Lucanis, Neve, and Davrin all lean in for a kiss but Neve and Davrin are interrupted, while Lucanis pulls away himself to clear his head.

That initial almost kiss with Lucanis so far is the most suave he has been lol he's really earnest and sincere 🥺💜 which is very different from the stage Zevran set, not that Zevran isn't those things, but Zevran fits the Antivan Romantic vibe whereas Lucanis feels like an introvert. His story factors a lot into it, of course. He's very thoughtful and maybe a little distant, measured. Flirt options with him feel subdued, and I'd say he speaks with his eyes and the looks he sends, which are all beautifully animated.

I do wish that a romanced Lucanis is factored into the story of Treviso, esp if Rook is also a Crow but I can guess they wanted it to be easier for whatever faction for the story. It would have been nice though. I haven't gotten a whiff of any ambient dialogue about them being a thing, and I think it should be, considering who Lucanis is and how well known Rook becomes throughout the course of the story.

Okay so this is going to be just a few characters to start with, but I will definitely make a part two which has more characters!!

(Also don't get mad at me for this post. ITS MY OPINION and you do NOT have to agree with it)

Jeff the Killer

• Okay so Jeff fans are WILD so please don't kill me if I say something you don't agree with☠️

• He is really proud of his new face. (I always see people say he is insecure of it but it's stated in his story that he thinks it's beautiful)

• He re cuts his face everytime it TRIES to re-heal

• His face cuts are VERY infected

• He isn't exactly close with anyone in the mansion but he gets along with Toby the most

• May act like he doesn't but he really does regret what he did to Liu

• Has attachment issues after what happened with Liu (he lost him and he was so close with him

• Definitely listens to old good Charlotte, all time low, and maybe even some never shout never

• Has bad trust issues

• Gets mad very easily

Ben Drowned

• Is pretty childish since he was 12 when he died and never really got the chance to mature

• Is close with sally (even though it took her a while to get used to any male presence and she still hates it) and they prank people together

• He loves Apple juice (idk why I think this😭)

• He does stuff to purposely annoy people such as poking them over and over again

• when he gets mad he side eyes people and tells them to shut up

• You will hear him raging at random times at night because he lost in a video game

• I think he gets more annoyed than he does mad like he will roll his eyes if someone is irritating him

• Sassy 12 year old

• Is OBSESSED with Halloween because he loves the way people in the mansion celebrate (some of them go outside in their normal outfits and trick or treat just to bring home candy for the younger ones of the house. Since they all look like they are in a costume)

• I know this is super stereotypical but he definitely listens to hyperpop since it replicates computer-typeish music and tones

Eyeless Jack

• He doesn't have eyes, but HE CAN SEE

• Sometimes when he is out of kidneys and is hungry but doesn't feel like hunting, he will teleport to hospitals and use his invisibility skills to take kidneys from transplant sections (if that's what they are called)

• He still feels human emotions but just has a hard time expressing them since he wants to forget his past

• Has SEVERE trust issues and it would be shocking if he EVER trusted a human again

• Feels sympathy for Ben (if we are talking about the Benjamin Lawman sacrifice story) since he was also killed/sacrificed by a cult

• Don't get me wrong he loves killing/torturing humans, but sometimes he only wants a kidney and when they wake up he dreads it

• Is VERY quiet and polite (when around other creepypastas obviously) and doesn't really say much

• I feel like he definitely listens to 2014 music that you would hear on road trips (example: Safe and sound - capital cities, am I wrong - Nico and Vinz etc.)

Laughing Jack

• Is TERRIFYINGLY TALL. APPROXIMATELY 8 FEET TALL. Scary

• I weirdly feel like he sounds like tiny tim and pennywise combined

• Definitely thinks everything is funny since he used to be an actual clown and still hasn't forgotten those ways fully

• Listens to old classical music and 1920s-40s music such as tonight you belong to me - patience and prudence, and livin in the sunlight lovin in the moonlight - Tiny Tim

• Ben always try to prank him and he gets mad because he feels like he should be the one pranking

• Extremely scary and quiet most of the time, but he has very frequent mood swings that could have him jumping off the walls (literally) to just sitting on the floor staring

• Doesn't get along with anyone in the mansion except for Candy Pop and Jason the Toymaker

• Doesn't sleep and only eats the organs he pulls out of his victims

• Hates Issac because he basically turned him into this monster

• Has abandonment issues severely

• Is definitely claustrophobic ever since he had to be in that box for that long period of time

• Has a wind up thing on his back and he will play music (since he is a jack in the box and also a stuffed doll)

Ticci Toby

• Does NOT like waffles

• Is NOT an "UwU smol bean"

• hates being treated like he is less just because he is a proxy

• Likes to be alone because it can be a struggle for him to communicate due to his tourettes (not saying they can't communicate just saying it can come as a struggle when talking to someone new because of stress and anxiety which is a trigger for most people)

• Has bad abandonment issues

•Will absolutely REFUSE to kill anyone who resembles his sister in the slightest unless slenderman tells him to (proxies can not refuse slender)

• He loves fall and nature and loves to see the leaves turn green to gold

• Wears a lot of sweaters (this is kind of canon)

• Doesn't really get along with anyone in the mansion except for Jeff since they both like to complain about stuff

• It's harder for him to feel human emotions since proxies kind of have all of that erased

• Is quiet and when people talk to him he kind of just nods and shakes his head in response to what they say instead of talking back

• Listens to old Owl City and All Time Low

• NOT emo😭 (I always see people say he is...)

• Everytime he sees a car he thinks of Lyra and has a mental breakdown. Anything he sees that remind him of her he can't deal with

• LOVES RACCOONS!!!!

• Definitely got bitten by a stray raccoon because he tried to pet it

Homicidal Liu

• He forgives Jeff even though he basically ruined his life

• Is very peaceful and kind of came to terms with all that happened

• Very quiet and laid back

• Doesn't like loud people/places

• Hates conflict since it reminds him of that day the fighting happened

• Has EXTREME trust issues since him and Jeff were so close and he just decided to attempt to murder him while he was sleeping on the couch

• I have a feeling him and bloody painter get along since they share a couple of traits that are needed

• But all of this changes when he turns into Sully it's a WHOLE different story then

• Loves Christmas and winter

ok ok so when i was younger i had to wake up super early to catch the bus to school, and one day i overslept and my dad said that if i missed my bus, i would be on punishment. so guess what.. i missed the bus 💔 and it was pouring rain outside 😭😭😭

and i don't like it when my dad's upset with me because he shouts really loud ( he's in the army so it's literally his job ) so ya know what i did? i decided to walk. and it wasn't terribly long but you definitely had to put in effort to get there. so i started walking and about halfway there, a car slows down. and it's like "oh he's right in front of a house, he's just parking",, NO. HE GETS OUT AND WALKS, NO, RUNS TOWARDS ME. and i'm silently freaking out because in my mind i'm like "oh, good god i'm about to be kidnapped by a dude because i'm afraid of my dad". and it's then that i notice he has something in his hand.. a long blunt object. so i start like hesitantly sprinting when he yells out "wait! do you need an umbrella?!" and i stop. "an umbrella?" i think, "he wants to give me an umbrella?" i turn around and sure enough he's politely walking up to me with an umbrella.. i took it and said thank you and he waved and drove away. I NEARLY PASSED OUT I THINK /silly /nsrs

so i have an umbrella, but my legs were starting to give out a little cuz i have something wrong with my circulatory system i think.. and i see the building! i sprint up to the doors, open them, and breathe a sigh of relief because i'm finally shielded from the harsh conditions i was subject to.. and you wanna know what happens next?

a dude walks up to me and holds out his hand for a handshake and says,,

"OH, HARRIET TUBMAN".

Y’all it wasn’t (just) my asthma out to make me see the pearly gates...it was COVID ☠️ it zipped through everyone in my household, and unfortunately me and my mom got the full punch to the face. I was already pro-mask + pro-hygienic practices, but now I’m extra pro-mask complete with a death glare directed at all the uncalled for commentary from strangers.

Enough about being sick LOL, I’m making this because I want to talk about games, also sometimes I cope with humor.

Current WIPs

I know y’all sick of my shit (me too), but as far as I’m concerned, Crushed is coming out this summer!! Really!! I will make it happen even if I have to do a few updates post-release, so help me God. I want to move on to other things and I’m so antsy and pitiful looking at a nearly-done-but-not-quite-yet-project 😭

And I know Sundays and Tuesdays have been super light on content recently but I feel like I don’t have enough to share once or twice a week? (And the stuff I do have is too boring 🙂) I’ve been told to reblog older posts but as you see, the only thing I reblogged was the pinned one lol. (I promise to do better with consistency on HBG Project #3)

Ariel’s role...evolved during the production of this game, for lack of a better word. When I sought out to tell Corey’s story and decided against a kinetic novel experience, there were certain things I wanted to bring attention to (and certain decisions I wanted to leave in the player’s hands). This discussion will get dangerously close to spoiling the content of the endings SOOO we’ll put a pin in it!!

This scene was written and coded with the rest of Corey’s friend group being off screen, but eventually I got sprites for Keegan and Oke. But I can’t help reimaging this scene with either of them and it makes me laugh so hard! That being said, I don’t imagine what you see in the demo will change in the final build buuuut who knows??

I hinted waaay back when that I planned work on an HSDJY sequel this year. To my dismay, it’s still in the throwing spaghetti noodles at the wall stage. My ambitious ass lowkey hoped I’d have a finished draft for at least one of the routes by end of the year--because self-made deadlines 🎉, but I’m stuck in outline HELL!!!

That being said... it’s okay to work on other things, I am giving myself permission to work on other things, and I’ve been eyeing game jams. But the low stakes one where I won’t jeopardize my sanity. There’s Yuri Jam, which I participated in last year, and then there’s Once Upon A Time VN Jam WHICH LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN???? 

I’ve been doing a lot of reading while recuperating (which probably means nothing because I’m always reading??? Unless I’m in a slump. Or playing viddy games. Dude. Don’t get me started on the pitfalls of being a game developer + bookish content creator. Time management?? We broke up) and the beginnings of an idea are starting to gel! I want to make another short project, and I’m curious if I can come up with something that fits the parameters of both jams. Fingers crossedl!!

Conclusion

I...don’t have anything else to add.

1) im such a fan of your writing, you never cease to deliver amazing chapters and the way you develop the characters and plot is really well done. i read the whole 3tan series in a few days right before NYE so i was really into a special mood entering 2023 ☠️

So. We're 3 months into the new year. Huh.

Updates from me? I started a new job! I've been reading/catching up on a toooooon of manga lately (I'm also sloooooowly making my way through a nonfiction read and can't help thinking how Corey would heavily sympathize with me. Sigh.)

I also got another free month of Spotify (lol, I think I'm the only person I know who only uses the free plan because I'd rather spend that money elsewhere??) so I've been on a listening spree and flagging songs for a writing playlist I will use for the majority of the HSDJY 2 drafting process moving forward.

I still have yet to play BG3. My family gifted me the physical edition, so I've been impatiently waiting for it to ship out. It's been 84 years JFJEHFJHJF!!

March 16th!!! Y'all, this is the deadline the team and I are working towards for a finished and published game 😭 unfortunately my plans for full voice work won’t be realized by then (but they will be realized. Just in a few months. Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if y'all get the updated HSD 2 demo before the fully voiced TKD….)

Ko-fi first!!

It’s only been a few months (since November??) but I’m super proud of my posting consistency! Granted, I’m a little anxious about how posts will look moving forward once I start moving major updates and general silliness to Tumblr. But. We shall cross the bridge when it appears.

March snuck up on me and I only have the free and any-paid-support ready, but the subbies are just There™️. That being said...when I'm quiet or posting non-Hummingbird content here, there's 99.9% chance I've made a free post on ko-fi.

Tumblr is looking like the other social media platforms right now with its flagrant support of AI, and it gives me a headache trying to decide how to keep everyone informed as well as share posts from my peers and new kids on the block. Anyhoo!!!

High School Daze goodies??

At the time of this post, a couple things have been happening that I haven't had the time (or the energy) to talk about. The obvious? HIGH SCHOOl DAZE: JUNIOR 2 HAS AN ITCH.IO PAGE!! I...have no idea when the full game will be out. I have an idea...but I don't want to say it and feel obligated to make that deadline just so I don't disappoint players. (I'm well aware that some people took one look at Crushed, went "Aww, that's nice, Gemini. Now where's HSD??" 🤣)

The first round of sprites have been commissioned!! If you peeped the key art (also done by my sprite artist, heehee she's lovely) you might notice some new outfits, some new hairdos. Fingers crossed I'll be able to update the page--to mirror the debut game's page--at the same time the new demo goes live (which will showcase all of or at least 75% of the common route of the full game. Stay tuned to find out if we'll focus on the friendship route or if I can defeat the Coding Monster to include all the variations for the romances too aha).

Writing wise? Five of the six total routes are outlined. (Florence's I've…barely started 🥲…this pre-production thing is kicking my ass). I’ve started drafting out the friendship route too, as seen by the random posts I’ve made about HSDJY 2. Well, a combination of friendship route + the common route with its lovely variations that aren’t a nuisance at all. Nope. *eye twitch*

I alsooooooo discovered that all the raw and edited music I created for HSD and for personal projects over the years using GarageBand were deleted. And I never backed them up. So. The tracks I made, the jingle for the splash screen, the main theme and it's 2 variations, and alllllll the little cute things I made that are as old as my own high school days are....gone.

If I sound very calm about this, what an astute observation! But my anxiety is being used elsewhere, and I decided that I while I can't go back to the original files to tweak them, I've backed up the other files. And I don't mind starting from scratch with this.

But also y'all, please back up your shit. Please. Don't be caught slipping.

That poll I made a while back that now has results and I totally didn't forget about?? The boys won!! And I'm not surprised 🤣 I haven't decided yet if I'll do a live developer stream or a prerecorded one, but either way it'll happen closer to October, the 2nd anniversary date.

What Will Gemini be Up To?? -> Rest?!?!?

I assumed a lot of things about what would be done or not done by March, and that led me to loosely block out March as a 'rest' month. I wouldn't work on any projects, and instead would read, play console and computer games, and basically take the break I didn't take in December.

Well. The Knight Dance is still in production. And I commissioned sprites earlier than expected. And I didn't plan enough ko-fi content to be scheduled in my absence. LOL and I started a new job!? 🥹

But!!! But but but, I do need to take some type of break so I'll do my best to be scarce in this space (and lower the temptation to work because I see y'all are working LOL). Cool? Cool!
