Looking around his throne, Katsuki couldn’t help but scoff at what came to his mind. He had everything a chief could want, but it still wasn’t enough for the young, barbaric male. Vast and grand was his home. People were happy, going about their day, harvest due and bountiful, the river running steady and clean.
Though, he was still missing a vital element to his life. Someone to make him happy, to have by his side and call his own. So the only thing he had left to need or want was someone to walk into battle with him, because not just any person would.
No, they had to have a few key traits to meet his standards. They needed to have a willingness to fight, to want to protect those around him and themselves with everything they had. They had to be able to take flack and a joke but also be serious when the time came. They had to be able to take no shit from anyone and make sure to be willing to put others in their place if they went out of line.
It wasn’t much! Honestly…Or at least he thought so.
“...ugou, Bakugou!” A voice snapped him from his thoughts as he glanced at his adviser, unhappy over the fact he was interrupted from his thoughts.
“What is it?” Katsuki questioned as he lazily shifted his attention to the man standing at his right side.
“As I was saying, there have been some sightings of strangely coloured dragons in the nearby valleys. We do not know if it is one or more or if they’re passing by or staying. Moreover, they have yet to attack the villages, but it would be wise to at least investigate the surrounding areas before anything happens,” his assistant spoke as he looked for what the King was going to do.
Taking a moment, Katsuki couldn’t help but smile as he got up and began to stretch. “Eijirou, prepare for a flight. It seems there might be someone that needs a reminder of who those valleys belong to.”
Though to the Bakugou family dragons were revered and seen as good omens, there was a limit. Dragons that fought over territory could be destructive and wipe entire lands from existence, so if there was ever more than one in an area it could prove to be a bad omen instead.
One dragon or one family were seen as protecting the lands, keeping invaders at bay and being loyal by nature. Though another one could offset the balance, should they prove to be hungry or hostile. The valleys in which the Bakugous lived were famous for having the longest standing relationship with the red dragons of the Kirishima clan. They had served one another for generations with the latest duo being that of the Barbarian King Katsuki Bakugou, son of the late Chieftess Mitsuki Bakugou, and the dragon that protected the lands, Eijirou Kirishima, son to late Hikori Kirishima.
Standing at seven feet, the mostly human nodded and saluted as he walked with his friend outside. “Yes, sir.” He beamed happily, seemingly excited by the prospect of seeing another dragon. “Though, what are your instructions, should they prove hostile?”
“Hostile?” Katsuki mused, placing a hand to his chin as the other morphed into that of a forty-foot-long dragon from the tip of his nose to the very end of his arrow-pointed tail. Once finished, Kirishima leaned down to lower his wing, letting Katsuki get on by walking up the thin bone of the arch of his wing and holding onto his spines, climbing all the way to behind the red horns that adorned his head. “Should the dragon wish to try and stay, we will start through the diplomatic route.”
That was the thing about Katsuki. For all his bloodlust and anger, he was quite the strategist when it came to monsters several times his size. Having worked with Eijirou for some time, they had built up a bond of trust valuable for when trouble arose.
“Should that fail, we will have to take things up a notch. I would like to avoid a fight if at all possible.” He sighed as he clung to the horn while the other took off. “The valley is full of fish making their way upstream for the breeding season,” he muttered before groaning and slapping his face as he remembered something, getting even more irritated.
“It could be a female dragon,” he groaned, looking down to Eijirou. “With breeding season approaching, it could prove very troublesome,” he grumbled as he lay down to keep low as Eijirou took to the sky.
“Hm,” came a deep rumble from the beast.
A female dragon would be far better than a male should they be able to move it along. It could prove worse in the long run, though, as other males came to try and have their chance, destroying the local landscape fighting over the female.
“Not going to be influenced? I know you’re a young male.” Katsuki snickered as the dragon grunted and shook slightly in a ‘no’. “Don’t worry, whatever happens we’ll sort it,” he offered quietly as he calmed down to focus on the mission at hand.
They took to the base of the mountains and looked for any signs of disturbance. With fear running though the nearest village, it was clear to see that the crops were half unattended and in the middle of being harvested. “I’m going to go take a look at the surrounding areas and talk to the locals. You go on up the mountain and scout that out,” the Chief commanded. With a short huff and a nod, Eijirou turned to slowly and carefully make his way up and around the mountains.
It wasn’t long before Eijirou returned with some news. Meeting in the center of town, the dragon descended slowly and waited for Katsuki to approach before he spoke. “I found a trail of blood from the ground leading up to a cave roughly halfway up the mountain.
Nodding, Katsuki signaled for Eijirou to lower himself so he could climb onto his back. “Sounds about right. The locals saw a figure flying unsteadily across the sky and into the mountain. There was a loud thump before all went silent. It’s more than likely a dragon. It hasn’t done harm to the villagers yet, though, so a slow, quiet and careful approach is needed.”
Coming to the entrance of the cave, Katsuki hopped off Eijirou, immediately noticing the plants had been recently crushed and a splattering of dried blood was leading into the cave. Looking up to Eijirou, he nodded and quietly led the way in. Eijirou used a small breath to light the torch that Katsuki would have to use to see.
It didn’t take them long to find the cause of the blood and crushed plants. Lying in front of them was a bronze dragon just as large as Kirishima, if not bigger, bleeding heavily from it’s hind leg, belly and face.
“Holy shit,” Katsukimuttered as he looked over the sight. He froze as the dragon raised its head. Chuckling, you looked over at Katsuki and Eijirou. “If you have come to kill me, at least make it swift.”
“Tch, don’t lump me with most humans,” Katsuki stated as he approached you, looking over the wounds. A huffing could be heard as he made his way closer, your muscles tense and beady eyes watching his form, ready to attack should harm come. “I’m a Bakugou. We don’t harm your kind.”
“You may not harm but you enslave. I feel sorry for the red scaled one over there. Forced to serve you like their ancestors,” you mumbled, laying your head down and closing your eyes to rest.
Eijirou huffed before he sat down. “I’m not. It’s nice to have lands that we don’t have to fight over and live in harmony with humans,” he protested, watching as Katsuki assessed the wounds. “I am from the Kirishima clan.” He beamed, almost a little too excited to say so. “It’s nice to see another shade of red around here. Normally those of the Shinsou clan are around these areas.” Eijirou started, tilting his head to the side. “So what brings you here?” he mused.
Which was how you explained your side of the story. It wasn’t uncommon for humans to attack those of draconic race because of the first dragons causing havoc and turmoil for humankind. You were a young dragon who still had not found some land to live in. So, you were aimlessly looking around for somewhere to sleep before you were ambushed by a kingdom that had a bad past with dragons, driving you out.
“Well,” Katsuki started as he backed off. “If you revert into your human form, we can take you back and give you medical aid. I’m not about to let a creature like you just die pathetically cold and alone in such a depressing state.”
With that, they watched as your form changed into a bloodstained, corseted, sleeveless dress, wings still visible with a tail barely peeking from beneath your long skirt. Their eyes lingered for a little too long to be completely respectful.
Getting up from where he lay, Eijirou gently enclosed you in his claws, protecting you, letting Katsuki onto his back before taking off back to the kingdom to give you the aid you needed.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The next thing you knew, you were waking up to some argument going on outside, though you took no heed to it. After all, you would need to at least stay to repay the kindness the human has shown you before taking your leave.
As the flap to the tent opened, you looked up at the figure that came to inspect you in the cot. “How are you feeling?” The one that entered had torn red wings and a thin arrow-headed tail much like that of the dragon you’d seen earlier.
“Much better, thanks.” He watched you as you got up to move around.
“Yeah, my mother is a great healer.” The man beamed proudly before his face dropped for a moment in realisation. “Oh, that’s right! I’m Eijirou Kirishima!” He offered a hand for you to shake as he introduced yourself. “I’m Katsuki’s dragon companion. Speaking of which, when you feel up to it, he wants to see you in the throne room. He’s currently occupied with some business, so why not come later tonight before dinner? He wants to talk to you about some things.”
“Ah I see” You nodded in agreement though still clearly wary of him.
“Yeah, my mom specialises in herbal and magical treatments for dragons. You should be fighting fit by the end of day! So enjoy yourself and have a look around! You’re more than welcome here as long as you don’t kill anyone.” You found yourself chuckling lightly along with him as he waved. “See ya! Rest up well and don’t push yourself too hard!” He beamed as he left.
As Eijirou left you alone with your thoughts, you couldn’t help but think back to just how trustingly and kindly Katsuki had treated you. Taking your leave from the tent, you looked to the sky to gauge the time of day. Deciding you had at least an hour before the sun would set and you would need to see the Chieftain, you went to see what the town had to offer.
As you walked among the townsfolk, you couldn’t help but notice that dragons and humans walked around one another as if that were a normal thing to do. Had things always been like this? And how had this not spread to other countries? Though be that as it might, you were happy for these people; they seemed to be comfortable and welcoming just like the man who had found you. Perhaps you could stay a little longer than intended…
Still, once the sun started to set you walked back the way you came only to come across a tent larger than most, assuming that was where Katsuki would be wrapping up the day.
You slowly opened the flap as some villagers came out, happily discussing the day’s harvest before you heard. “Come on in, dragon!” Katsuki called as he remained seated on his chair smirking to himself. “Feeling better, I see?” he questioned as he sat up straight. Even like this, you could see and feel the power he irradiated.
“Yes, much, thank you.” Bowing, you smiled before you were told to stand upright. “If there’s anything I can do for you, please just let me know. It’s the least I can do after you saved my life.”
The moment those words left your mouth, you had a feeling that you were either going to live to regret it or thank him.
“Speaking of which,” he started as he leaned back and patted his lap. “Please, come here,” he commanded. Once you approached, he leaned forward, taking your chin between his thumb and forefinger as if inspecting you. Up close, you could just see how deep ruby red his eyes were as well as how sharp his teeth were. For a human, he had a great set of fangs on him. ‘Shame he’s a human; he would have made a great and fierce dragon,’ you couldn’t help but think before he spoke, bringing you back to reality.
“Yes, you’re perfect,” he muttered, pulling you into his lap forcefully by your waist. “Strong willed, a fighter, and someone I could learn to grow better with,” he stated as he suddenly captured your lips. “You will be my partner,” he stated as his hands wandered low.
Spluttering and blushing, you thrust your arms at his chiseled chest, putting some distance between the two of you. “B-But how do you know? I could kill you! You barely know me,” you protested, though with his power he forced you to fold your arms, leaning in to whisper.
“But you owe me your life. Surely this is nothing and if you don’t feel like you’re the one you’re more than welcome to leave,” he purred.
You knew he was right. This young, powerful man knew that dragons didn’t back down on their word, and so serving him would mean repaying the debt? A small price to pay, truly.
“So why not get on your knees for your Chief and thank me properly?” he offered, leaning back and letting go of you. You watched as the grin on his face was almost ear splitting as you sunk to your knees in front of him. He let his hands wander down his trousers to help you get them off and down to his ankles.
“That’s it,” he praised, reaching out to gently lay his hand on your head. His eyes watched you with keen interest as you slowly took him into your mouth. He wasn’t completely hard and you shifted to get a better angle and grip him in your hands, though he tried to encourage you with soft words. “That’s it, fuckin’ take it all in,” he muttered as he leaned back, getting more comfortable on his throne. The grasp on your hair got tighter as he started to get impatient and guide your face along his length. “Come on now, no need to be so shy about it.” His teeth showed as he smiled. “You’ve lived longer than I have, surely you have the experience?” he goaded. Which, if you were honest with yourself, was true. You were most likely older than him, and could show him a thing or two while you’re at it.
Straightening your back a little from the floor you looked over his hardening dick. Licking your lips, you took the head in, using the flexibility to weave in between the head of his cock and the shaft before leaning up and taking it in as much as you could. Tongue flat, running along the thick vein underneath, you slowly bobbed your head back and forth, breathing when you could. It wasn’t long before you felt a tug with the hand that ran through your hair to pull you away from him, leaving you panting, and breathless from working so hard to please him.
His cheeks flushed a bright pink he chuckled almost as breathlessly as you, having forgotten how to breathe in the moment before letting go of your hair. “What a good girl,” he praised as he shifted back and patted his lap. “Why not come for a ride?” he questioned as he watched you stand. “I would have taken you back to my room, but I'm feeling impatient. It’s my birthday after all,” he informed, eyes hungrily watching over your form as you stripped naked, and then worked on taking off his trousers completely.
“Your birthday?” you questioned him as you straddled his lap. “I see. Perhaps this will be enough of a gift then?” you mused lining yourself up, slowly trying to sink yourself down on him.
His head slammed back against the back of his throne as he groaned. You were taking your time, though as you hadn’t prepared yourself. You knew your body could and would stretch, but it was painful to begin with. He was stretching you to your limit, but you licked your hand to reach down to let the saliva coating his dick for an easier entry only then were you able to sit down fully on his lap.
Taking a good minute or two you both sat, panting, just feeling one another as you got used to the stretch of his cock within you. His hands empassing your hips, he tried to get you to move, but you had other ideas. It was his birthday? That’s just fine, but you would make sure it would be a ride he wouldn’t forget in a hurry.
You gently grasped his hands and took them off your hips to raise them above his head as you started to roll your hips back and forth. Leaning in close to kiss him and to distract him, you used your tail to wrap his hands above his head. He only just realised when you leaned back.
“W-What the fuck is—shit—the big idea?” he panted as his eyes were glued to your form, which started moving so effortlessly up and down on his dick.
“It’s your birthday. I want to spoil you, so enjoy the ride.” Chuckling a little darkly, you couldn’t help but use your wings to give you some extra momentum and power into your movements as you rode him.
He couldn't believe just how lucky he was to have such a beautiful person ride him within an inch of his life. You knew just what to do and how to please him, which, to his embarrassment, had him orgasming not much longer after you started.
“F-Fuck!” he grunted, unable to couldn’t help it when his hips met yours. Though your gut had only just started to coil with your own orgasm, much to your disappointment. You remained seated on his lap as he came down from his high, letting go of his arms.
He watched you only to frown. Noticing you hadn’t orgasmed yet he couldn’t help but feel like a teenager all over again.
This wouldn’t do. This wouldn’t do at all.
Growling, he forcefully lifted you up from him as he slid to the floor, getting you to sit in his seat. Wrapping his arms around your waist, he brought you to his face and started to lap up not only at his own cum that had started to seep it’s way out from the confines of yourself, but searching for any original taste of your own essence. This surprise had you leaning over with a groan. In all your years, no other man had been so willing about doing this.
Smirking from the inside of your thighs, he knew from your expression that you were loving it or at the very least surprised by his movements. “What?” he questioned, so close to your cunt that you could feel his breath ghosting it. “Never been eaten out before?” He seemed a little too smug, as if he almost already knew the answer.
With a shake of your head, he only shifted closer and got more comfortable as he nudged your clit with his nose. “Hmm, good. I'm a man starving for pussy and it’s delicious, so don’t mind me,” he muttered before his gaze lowered.
Though his dick felt great, this was almost a thousand times better. There was no painful stretch, only a soft muscle, though not deep. The slurping and sucking sounds and sensations were what quickly brought your end. He was more than happy to guide you though your high as you remained hunched over his head, hands which you now realised were in his hair, forcing his face just that much closer.
Leaning back once you had come back to Earth, you watched him as he wiped his chin and cheeks with the back of his arm. “Thank you for the meal.” He chuckled, giving off a lopsided smile, showing off the pearly whites of his sharp teeth. He stood as he gathered up his trousers as he got dressed. “You’re more than welcome to stay for dinner in my home,” he stated as he turned to you and passed you back your clothes.
Slowly taking them, you nodded as you got dressed despite the shake in your legs. “Y-Yeah, I think I will,” you confirmed as you slipped back into your clothes.
“Good choice. I’m not finished with you yet, beautiful.” Leaning in, he kissed your cheek before taking his leave only to find a very flustered Eijirou waiting outside. “Something wrong?” Katsuki questioned with folded arms, knowing exactly what he was doing.
“N-No!” the dragon protested, though the redness that was spread all the way up to his ears gave him away.
“Next time, just ask. It’s rude to eavesdrop.” Katsuki laughed as he walked away, going to join the mass for dinner.
“K-Katsuki! I had to make sure you were safe! After all, she’s a rogue dragon,” Eijirou protested in earnest. Though he wouldn’t admit it, that would be something that Eijirou would very much like to do.
“Sure, sure, whatever you say, man.”
Rolling his eyes, Katsuki took a seat at the head of the banquet table, waiting for your arrival before the festivities could begin.

literally just another giant post of Bakugou faces.
so I did this last year, but I only got up to chapter 120 before I ran out of steam. happily, though, this left me with an additional 190 chapters’ worth of glorious gremlin faces to choose from for this year’s edition! which I figure I had better do, before tumblr finally pulls the plug on my poor sweet image limit.
so without further ado, happy birthday to Kacchan, and happy birthday to Kacchan’s asymmetrical HAH face where his eyes do the thing like ( ◣益◢).
why I like it: so this is from Kirishima’s flashback in chapter 133, where Kirishima was getting all down on himself because his quirk Only Does One Thing, and Kacchan was all “nah bro don’t worry about it because your One Thing is totally fucking rad, and you’re strong enough to withstand anything.” so that of course was incredibly sweet, and one of the few times we’ve seen him give an actual heartfelt pep talk without so much as a single insult thrown into the mix. but what really puts this scene over the top for me is the fact that you can see the ever-so-subtle hints of guilt and regret when he talks about All Might and Kamino. for just a moment, he gets this distant look in his eyes, and his expression turns soft and contemplative. basically this is a rare collector’s edition Kacchan face you will not find in many other places.
why I like it: because this frankly needs to happen in every damn fight until this kid finally gets it through his thick skull to ditch the mask so we can see every fantastic facial expression in full 4k glory. work with me here please Kacchan.
why I like it: because character growth!! this was our first big moment of post-DvK2 Kacchan development, and the payoff was well worth the wait. it only took him 166 chapters to realize that it’s hard to grow as a person if you’re determined to be a humongous dick to every single person you meet!! lmao, but it’s progress though.
why I like it: these two panels are criminally underrated. the way his face transforms when Deku gets the answer wrong dlkjfldk. this is easily one of the funniest subtle gags in the entire series.
why I like it: “hey Bakugou do you want to play in our band?” “fuck you, no.” “pretty please.” “fine, but I refuse to call it a band.” “well then what do you want to call it -- ” “MURDER.”
why I like it: GONNA MURDER EVERYONE BY PLAYING THE DRUMS!!!! SOMEHOW WE’VE SUCCESSFULLY COMPARTMENTALIZED THIS SCHOOL-SANCTIONED DISPLAY OF PERFORMING ARTS AS A DEATH MATCH. OH TO UNDERSTAND THE INNER WORKINGS OF THIS YOUNG MAN’S MIND.
why I like it: hah?! I love how he has to tilt his neck all the way back every single time he does this. he’s so cute I love him so much.
why I like it: somewhere around this point in the manga Kacchan decided to do away with being handsome and decided to just be a full-time gremlin in every single panel. this persisted for the next 90 chapters or so and he was very dedicated. I’m pretty sure he was going for vulgar and intimidating, but unfortunately for him he’s too inherently adorable and so the end result is just endearing and almost charming in its own way.
why I like it: this was from chapter 194 when Aizawa was announcing that they’d have a special guest for the Joint Training arc, and so Kacchan was all “BOY OH BOY A NEW ASS TO KICK.”
why I like it: more character development! and just look at that confidence! he’s fully recovered from his low point after Kamino and the provisional exam. he knows what he’s about now, and he is THRIVING. and once again you can see how his conviction inspires the people around him and makes them more determined. just, he is going to be such a good number one hero you guys.
why I like it: it’s the three little “!!!” lines hovering in the corner next to his head for me. “oh my god it’s All Might, All Might saw me being cool and Saving To Win and stuff, what’s he gonna say what do I do omg quick act natural.”
why I like it: QUICK HIDE YOUR FEELINGS!! WE CAN’T LET THE NEIGHBORS KNOW WE CARE. fjkdlsjklk
why I like it: this is his expression when he first sees Deku activate Blackwhip for the first time. it’s one of the few unguarded expressions of complete surprise that we’ve gotten from him and I love it thank you.
why I like it: classic asymmetrical HAH face. he truly has perfected this look. look at him, casually clinging to a pole for no reason other than to look dynamic. this boy truly cannot sit or stand or walk or do anything normally. he spent three months working his ass off to catch up to Deku and the others, and now that he finally has he’s filled with so much pent-up energy that he simply cannot hold it back anymore and he’s gotta climb a pole. he’s just gotta.
why I like it: because he is so fucking good at saving people now you guys, he’s like a whole-ass professional and shit, and yet it hasn’t changed who he is one single iota. he will save your life and he will SCREAM AT YOU WHILE DOING IT and you’ll sit there and be grateful goddammit.
why I like it: o noo he was caught unawares. All Might was all “I’m gonna have a dad moment and nobody can stop me” and he walked right up to him and put his hand on his head because he’s All Might and so what is he even gonna do about it. nothing, that’s what. you got played, Kacchan. outmaneuvered and outfoxed. all he can do is stand there and make that grumpy face he makes when he’s receiving unwanted affection (҂⌣̀_⌣́).
why I like it: more unwanted affection. now they’re even feeding him ffs. how could he let this happen. mm chicken.
why I like it: GREATEST ASYMETRICAL HAH?! FACE OF ALL TIME. out of all the people to befriend him against his will, Todoroki is by far the most confusing to him and it’s just so great.
why I like it: this is when Hawks is staring at him in chapter 244 because he fake-killed his mentor and stuff and he feels sorta guilty about it. but meanwhile Kacchan just thinks he’s trying to start some shit, and so he’s all “I WAS FASTER THAN YOU BACK THERE YOU KNOW” and Hawks is all “hahaha okay little buddy you just keep telling yourself that”, because as previously discussed Kacchan is too adorable to ever be intimidating.
why I like it: this is from 246 when he’s in the middle of arguing with Burnin’ and all of a sudden Endeavor calls to him and he’s just like o shit what’d I do.
why I like it: because Endeavor’s mentoring them and shit and he’s just casually sitting there eating his lunch like yeah. with his lil hamster cheeks lulz.
why I like it: the look that instantly became iconic. this panel cured me of the misconception that Bakugou “goes to bed at 8:30pm” Katsuki was a morning person. the truth is he loathes all times of the day equally.
why I like it: this one is a team effort because Deku’s faces are equally as good. I’m genuinely shocked that this family dinner with the Todorokis didn’t prematurely unlock Danger Sense. you can tell that he and Deku have a silent agreement to call a temporary truce on their rivalry for as long as they sit at this table as outsiders in this strange land. this is by far the most hazardous meal Bakugou has ever experienced, and yet the mapo tofu is too good to go to waste, so he’s just shoveling it down his throat trying to finish as much as possible before shit inevitably hits the fan.
why I like it: Kacchan is New Here so he doesn’t yet realize that if the Todorokis are spilling family secrets, there is always inevitably going to be someone listening in the shadows just outside the door.
why I like it: the battle with Ending was probably peak gremlin!Kacchan. like, we’ve had gremlin before and afterwards, but never quite to this same degree. Horikoshi really decided to push the limits of contorting this child’s face in the strangest ways.
why I like it: peak. gremlin.
why I like it: nothing to see here, just Kacchan quietly realizing after 252 chapters that he MIGHT have been just a BIT of a cartoonishly villainous asshole to Deku back at the beginning there ha ha ha oh god oh fuck.
why I like it: because he found the answer to What It Is That He Lacks, and he’s all cool and calm and infuriatingly secretive about it. it’s such a sudden and stark contrast to the gremlin faces he was making only moments earlier, and it makes this moment hit home that much more.
why I like it: because this is him being friends with Deku!! like for real though!! because he’s fucking around and insulting him and making weird faces and stuff, but it’s because in his mind That’s What Friends Do. they clown on each other and help each other train and shit. half an hour after this they’ll go down to the training gym and play Catch-A-Kacchan, and then he’ll quietly confess to All Might that he wants to atone. he may be a gremlin, but he’s a gremlin with layers goddammit.
why I like it: because this is right after TomurAFO shows up out of nowhere and scares the shit out of him and Deku and makes them see a terrifying death vision and stuff, and you can see how shaken up he is by it. he definitely understands how close they came to dying just then and he’s sobered the fuck up. this is the moment when it really sinks in that shit has gotten real. eight minutes from now he’ll move without thinking and save Deku’s life.
why I like it: hydro homies. nothing restores those electrolytes like good old Raquaius Sports Drink.
why I like it: because this panel was when it started to become clear that the real reason he grabbed this sports drink was to pretend like he was busy so he could act like he wasn’t interested in Deku’s training because god forbid the neighbors know that he actually cares.
why I like it: because the sideways glance!! and the fact that he doesn’t deny it!! in fact he does the opposite of denying it, and he basically starts pouring his heart out about how goddamn worried he actually is. he’s guilty and anxious and restless and this entire conversation is amazing.
why I like it: he looks so goddamn young here. when he finally stops scrunching up his face and putting on his usual tough guy act and for once allows his actual emotions to show on his face instead, the result is so damn striking. for once we got an entire conversation with no gremlin faces, because Horikoshi had to drop them completely in order to show just how serious he is here. which was incredibly effective btw.
why I like it: because he’s basically just fidgeting with the bottle now to avoid making eye contact with All Might because he just revealed a deep dark secret to him and he’s precariously vulnerable right now. that’s the body language of a kid who knows how badly he fucked up, and just wants to hear from someone else if it’s going to be okay, if he can still make it okay. he looks so small here.
why I like it: the worry lines under his eyes. the look of uncertainty and wanting to believe that what All Might says is true (“you’ll get a chance to talk eventually”). the hesitance to turn back and look at him, and the way he doesn’t dare until he finally gets that small bit of reassurance. All Might isn’t judging him. All Might understands him and understands where he’s coming from, and he’s giving him his blessing. he’s giving him a thumbs up and reassuring him that he sees the change in him and sees that he’s sincerely trying, and basically saying that he has faith that he and Deku will be able to work it out. and you can see that it means a lot.
why I like it: because this kid spent his entire internship with Jeanist doing nothing but bitching nonstop, and then later on when Jeanist went missing he was all tight-lipped about it because once again NOBODY CAN KNOW THAT WE CARE GODDAMMIT, and it was all very Classic Bakugou. but then Jeanist finally shows up again at Jakku, and we get this little moment of happy, smirky FUCK YEAH, I KNEW YOU WEREN’T DEAD YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE, and it’s just the best.
why I like it: HE’S SO UNABASHEDLY PROUD GOD BLESS HIM.
why I like it: because he nearly died and then he woke up here in the hospital two days later not knowing where anybody else is or whether they’re even still alive, and this, my friends. this is finally the moment. the moment where he was all FUCK IT, MAYBE WE CAN LET THE NEIGHBORS KNOW WE CARE AFTER ALL. character fucking development. you love to see it.
BONUS:
WHAT HAVE I BECOME, MY SWEETEST FRIEND. EVERYONE I KNOW GOES AWAY IN THE END.
happy birthday Katsuki. feel better sweetie. HORIKOSHI YOU BETTER TREAT HIM RIGHT I AM COUNTING ON YOU.

Massage me down there
husband!yandere!bakugou x reader
When your husband gets upset at the lack of attention you were giving him, you make it up to him by giving him the best massage of his life.
wordcount- 5 k
warnings : sub baku, slightly yandere tendencies, yandere baku ( its all fluffy af tho), nsfw, blowjob, eating out, sex.
for mature viewers only.
first smut so pls be gentle. tumblr was such a bitch and wouldn't let me post this but here we are.
…...…......………...…...….
Bakugou walked in, his muscles and arms aching from a long day of hero work. He twisted the key and turned the doorknob, opening the door to be assaulted by the familiar warm scent of home.
You used some air fresheners that made sure the house always smelt welcoming pleasant. He wasn’t sure what scent, but he knows the smell well enough.
He took his shoes off, irked that you didn’t come to welcome him like you usually would. His bad mood seeped out into his face, translating into a well known scowl on his handsome features.
A tick appeared on his forehead when he heard the tv.
‘What the fuck, or who the fuck, had your attention?’
He took his shoes off and changed out of his hero suit, putting his gauntlets aside and somewhere safe. He doesn’t want those near you.
He showered quickly and wore some shorts, leaving his hair to air dry opting to go shirtless, leaving his toned and muscled packs out on display. He was still warm from his shower, and his flushed and damp appearance was sure to re-catch your attention.
He left the shared room and walked into the leaving room, nearly steaming again when he wasn’t acknowledged and looking into the TV, expecting something equally infuriating, but only finding some furry movie. He tsk, although relieved it wasn’t some pesky actor stealing your attention.
He took in your appearance, finding that you looked gorgeous in some oversized shirt of his and some baggy, grey shorts, which left most of your legs teasingly out. He would have jumped you, but quickly remembered why he couldn’t to begin with.
You looked so sweet sitting there in some oversized shirt watching a cartoon movie tho-
No. He was mad at you.
He flopped down on the couch, folding his arms across his chest and glaring at you grumpily. You jumped up in surprise the moment the couch dipped, looking next to you frantically only to see your husband sitting at the opposite end of the couch.
Your face brightened into a happy smile, quickly sliding to him and enveloping his steam warm body in a hug. You slid on his lap, trying to kiss him on the lips, which failed when he turned his head, ending up as a mere peck.
You frowned at that, but it hurt Katsuki more than it hurt you. His heart felt heavy, having to reject one of your kisses, but it was for the better good.
You put your head on his chest, appreciatiating the firm and sculpted feel of it.
“Why didn’t you tell me you got home ? I didn’t hear you at all !” You exclaimed with a frown. Sad at missing your opportunity of kissing him at the door like your ritual usually went. Is that why he seemed to be in a mood ?
Bakugo scoffed, resisting the urge to put his hands on you.” You would’ve if you weren’t so distracted with some-some furry movie !” He yelled way to loudly, but you knew he wasn’t really angry, at least not mad angry. He’s just sulking. You didn’t know, but when you didn’t even acknowledge him slightly while he got home and showered some spark of possessiveness went off. The familiar feeling of being threatened wasn’t that far after all.
But the sound of the main character interacting with the fox made your ears perk. Since Katsuki is upset right now, he can wait a bit more.
You easily escaped his grasp since Bakugo opted to not touch you.
You settled near him, not as far, but not as close as before. Bakugo felt your warmth leave, and it felt like the heat from his very own body was sapped.
His grumpy pout turned to a sad, dejected one, and his eyes slowly lost his hardness as he looked at your distracted form beside him.
Anger slowly started brewing inside him again, tears springing to the corner of his eyes due to the overwhelming rage brewing in his chest.
‘How dare you ignore him like this ? Especially when he was upset at you. If you were upset at him Bakugo would coddle you until you relented. Fine, ignore him.’
Your attention snapped when you felt Katsuki get up from the couch, watching his figure stomp away to the room. You cringed when you heard the door bang.
You saw the movie had a few minutes left, and debated whether you should go to Katsuki or finish it first. This might take a while, so movie first it is.
Right as the movie was about to finish, you heated up some oils, having thought of the perfect bribery plan. Bakugou hates it when you don’t pay attention to him or dismiss him, and you wouldn’t have, but the movie was so engaging and you wanted to watch it for a long time !
You quickly put the oils in a tray and carried it back to your room. You balanced the tray in one hand while your other turned the doorknob, walking inside the bedroom to find Katsuki laying on his side on the bed on his belly.
You walked to him, putting the oils on the running heater one by one to make sure they remain warm to ensure Katsuki can enjoy this as much as possible.
Katsuki looked up slowly, not wanting to show his interest in what you brought with you, but intrigue got the best of him when he smelt natural scents near him. He quickly turned his face away when he saw you walk to him. You crouched down besides him, making him smell your perfume, and want to look at your adorable face, grab -
“Suki, you’re mad at me right ?” You asked softly, trying to set the mood while your hand tangled in his untamable spikes.
Katsuki wanted to shout, to push your hand away and melt in his own pettiness, but he couldn’t help the tiny rush of ecstasy as your small hand slowly caressed his roots, the true euphoria being that you came to make up with him. You must love him after all then ?
“Tsk, go back to your shitty movie.” He grumbled, his lips set in a pout as he lifted his face to glare at you.
You tried kissing him before he turned around again, but he predicted her actions and turned around before the kiss reached it’s destination. He quickly regretted his decision becasue after you ended up kissing his cheek again, he really craved to have your luscious lips make contact with his…
He must stay strong. He already saw the oils, and had a half mind to reject your offer, but he was scared you really will take his word for it.
“What’s with the oils ?” He questioned gruffly, slightly muffled by the pillows.
You beamed, ripping the blanket off his body, which he seemed to cocoon himself in, and made yourself comfortable beside him.
“I’m giving you a full body massage, head to toe ! My hero must be sore from working hard all day.” You said adoringly, despite Bakugo thinking he’s the coddler in the relationship, you loved doting on him too, and bought all of this to use on him.
Katsuki was going to make some snarky remark, but your soothing hands on his scalp made him clamp shut. Your rhythmic motions and soft touches made Bakugou sigh, her fingers playing with his hair gently with the room dimly lit made him relax and his heart beat slowed as his eyelids drooped in lethargy. Your fingers didn’t leave one root on his head untouched. You grinned in victory seeing your adorable husband about to fall asleep and you barely even started.
The true comfort to Katsuki came in knowing that Bakugou had your full attention. But his half lidded eyes sprung open when he felt your hands leave his spiky blond hair. He was about to grab your hand to pull you back to him when he noticed you walk towards the oils, grabbing them and placing them on the lamp stand besides the bed so you can easily reach them without moving.
You settled yourself back on the bed, this time on Katsuki’s toned and perky ass.
Bakugo blushed, never too used to you being like this with him despite you guys being married and all that, it still feels as if you guys never even held hands before. At least to him.
You reached out, grabbing one of the oils and pouring a generous amount on your palms, then rubbing them together. You put your hands on his shoulders and started to gently work on the knots, and Katsuki swears heaven is in your hands. He feels the heavy weight that every hero carries slowly melt away, the tenseness slowly dissipating as your hands continued massaging with the aid of the oil.
“How does it feel ?” You asked in a low, whispering voice. Katsuki could’ve missed it had it not being your voice.
He grunted, and you took it as a good enough response to keep working as you had been. Katsuki was so relaxed, he was becoming sleepy with the aid of the ambient light of the lamp, and your soothing touches stimulating his tactile senses. The only comforting touch he felt all day.
You felt that his shoulders were mellow enough, deciding to move on to his back. You grabbed another oil and spread a more generous amount this time, rubbing it between your palms. The warmth must’ve been really pleasant on his exhausted body, because his breath hitched not a second after your hands made contact with his back. You’re honestly a novice at this, having watched a few seconds of a massage video then gave up a few seconds in, but you guessed you were doing something right if the hitches of his breath were any proof.
You continued kneading at his back, admiring the scrumptious view of his muscular back beneath your fingers. Katsuki was lucky his face was not in your direction, or you would have seen the redness of his cheeks and ears, and the suggestive nature of his open mouth, which let out inaudible sounds every time you worked out a knot. His eyes were lidded, brighter than usual that the volcanic red of his eyes looked like harmless cherries.
Embarrassingly though, every knead you made caused his body to experience a sort of relaxed pleasure, the feel of your soft hands gently caressing his skin is bringing back memories……
He would never allow anyone else but you to touch him like this, just like he wouldn’t allow you to touch anyone else like that, or touch period. Just the thought made his brows furrow in annoyance until a moan came out when you touched a particularly sore spot. You paused for a second, having not expected that reaction. You went back to the same spot and got rewarded when his breath hitched.
Eventually, his back went like it was made anew, and you probably shared the sentiment because you whispered in his ear to turn around, afraid of disturbing him as he remained silent for so long. He could have fallen asleep, and he might’ve, your relaxing touch and dim lights where really helping.
However, he wanted more of this, so he pushed the drowsiness away and turned around for you. He thought you would wrap it up after doing his back, shoulders, and even his head, but was pleasantly surprised. That’s his darling, always going the extra mile for him. Little things like that remind him exactly why he adores you.
To be fair, he stopped being mad five minutes into the massage, if, however, it still gets you to dot on him then he will keep his mouth shut, but he still appreciates that you are doing this for him, considering how much carrying gauntlets and heroing all day tires him.
After choosing the oil, Bakugou half thought that you were going to resume your previous seating place, this time on his crotch. He was pleasantly surprised to be right. Katsuki blushed and turned around, huffing, knowing you can feel his semi erection. By the smirk you shot him, you were very aware.
Katsuki held his breath in, knowing the slightest movement of your hips will cause him to let out a titillating sound.
“Where do you think you’re sitting dumbass ?” He groaned out. You quirked an eyebrow, smirking downright sinfully.
“Your body doesn’t seem to have a problem with it.” You observed.
Halfway into worshipping the firm dips of his pectorals, you paused your ministrations, drawing the- once again- attention of a drowsy Katsuki.
You fanned yourself, and much to your husbands chagrin, took the oversized shirt off. Leaving you in your pretty, black bralette which emphasized your bust. Katsuki gulped.
After catching Katsuki’s wondering eyes, you shot him a flirty smile. Your hands resumed their ministrations, but slowly traveled up to Katsuki’s chest, kneading at first, but then seized all movements, only to start softly caressing his milky neck.
You slowly lowered you upper body, making contact with Katsuki’s oiled front. He couldn’t keep his wondering eyes from admiring the exposed cleavage teasing his vision. You caught his stare, and leisurely unhooked it, sliding the straps off, one, and then the other, shrugging it off completely, making your soft tits touch his stomach. His hands itched to grab them, but your own left his neck and held his hands in place over his head. You moved until your mouth was near his ears, the movement reminded Bakugo of the slithering of a graceful and dangerous viper.
“Did you enjoy that baby ?” You whispered, voice no louder or lower than the one you used throughout the whole session, but somehow, with your soft chest touching his, hands holding his own in place and voice whispering in his ear, Katsuki’s blood rushed south.
He swallowed, having a theory that the blood in his brain must have gone down, because he felt way dumber than usual.
He nodded his head.
“Are you still mad at me honey ?” Whispered your honeyed voice.
“No.” Replied Katsuki, taking his upper lip between his teeth in frustration at the affect you have on him.
His cheeks flushed even more when you started nibbling at his earlobe, the sound way too close to his hearing range for comfort.
He really resembled that love sick look.
“Will you let me kiss you now Suki ?” You asked your final question, hands leaving his, granting him leeway to explore and move them as he pleases while your hands found their way back to his hair. Katsuki answered your question by pulling you closer and softly kissing your lips, his desires having finally been answered. He kept the kiss from getting aggressive, not wanting to destroy the mood, but the tantalising kiss was quickly becoming not enough. He desired all of you, he wanted your thoughts to be wholeheartedly consumed by him. His beefy hand tangled itself in your hair, biting your bottom lip and sucking it in order to deepen your kiss, but you had other ideas.
“Suki, can you put your tongue out for me ?” You asked innocently, Katsuki hesitated for a moment, confused as you’d never made a request like that before. He slowly stuck his pink muscle out.
You wasted no time, gently sucking it, grazing it with your teeth to add a bit of stimulation.
You didn’t prolong his pleasure however.
“I still have to finish your massage, sweetie. Lay back down and relax.” You whispered in a doting tone, gently pushing his chest flat into the bed. Katsuki widened his eyes, unable to believe you’d do that to him.
You’re really going to do this to him ? While you were shirtless too ?
His cock pulsated painfully, his hardness left untouched. You moved on to his arms, paying special attention to his aching wrists. This would have the epitome of comfort had he not had an erection, with you shirtless, nipples out and daring him to pinch, your hands softly oiling his body and rejuvinating him. He thanks his overwhelming self control, overwhelming though it may be, the impenetrable iron clad self control crumples and mellows like marshmallow around you.
To his dismay, yet utter relief, you took your time, knowing his hands are crucial for his quirk. After finishing up with his arm, you took his hand, his large, beefy one dwarfing your own. Jesus, even his fingers were thick.
You brought his hand closer to your mouth, and Katsuki thought you were going to take a finger in your mouth. Instead, you gave the webbed area at the base of his finger a tentative lick. Knowing this is the most sensitive part of his calloused hand. His erection strained against his shorts with renewed vigour. He bit his lip in order to follow your command and stay laid back, but God knows he wanted to push you back and ram into you. He felt more than saw when your naughty tongue stopped licking that area and traveled up to suck the tip of his finger. You licked it slowly, then took it in your mouth, sucking on it like you would something else.
Katsuki squeezed his thighs together desperately, unable to handle not getting friction. His other hand went palm his hard on, but you slapped that hand when it twitched to move, knowing you won’t like its destination. You bit his finger in a silent warning. Katsuki knew he couldn’t disobey a request of yours, no matter how hard or simple, so he fisted his hand to maintain his sanity while you deepthroated his finger. Braless.
You took his finger out of your mouth. It was slicken and glistening. Katsuki’s boxers were dampened.
Katsuki starred in utter horror as you moved on to the other arm, and nearly growled in frustration.
He couldn’t handle it anymore.
“Stop teasing me !” He shouted, the loudest noise that had been made since you entered the room.
You looked at him, mock obliviousness on your face.
You begun to massage the new arm, giving him an inquisitive look.
“Teasing you ? What are you talking about Suki ? I’m just trying to make you feel good.” You justified.
“Baka, massage me where I really want to be massaged.” He demanded. You put a finger on his lip. “Suki, don’t talk that loudly, you’ll destroy the mood. And tell me where you want me to massage honey, use your words. This is all about you remember?” You guessed it’s been enough teasing. Halfway through, you noticed the impending arousal Katsuki was experiencing, and decided this could take a turn in the other direction. He looked at you in hope, but clamped his mouth shut when he realized he’d have to ask you it.
“You know… baka.” He answered childishly, looking away.
“Of course, your arms really hurt don't they ? No worries.” You whispered, already grabbing the oils before Katsuki’s frustrated voice rung out.
“Please no, touch me… down there. Right now. You knew there would be consequences to touching me like that and looking like this” He finally relented. You o’d, nodding and caressing his hair, silently proud at him for saying what he really wanted. You relishes in the embarrassment blooming on his face, an adorable cherry red.
“Haha, you should have just said so from the start.” You scolded.
“I’ll start by massaging your legs then.”
Katsuki nearly growled in frustration. You weren’t going to do this to him right. You read that look on his face.
“Is that not what you want ? You said down there.”
He sucked in a breath. He gripped the sheets beneath his hand so tightly, his knuckles tirned white.
“Fine ! You want me to say it, I will. Massage…my cock. Spread oils all over it and touch it with your pretty hands and suck it like you did to my finger.” He retold all his fantasies, baring his soul out into the open. He craves you all the time, you just made his craving so much worse. Depriving him of your attention, then suddenly giving him an abundance of it but not giving him what he truly wants .
His heart fell when he saw the troubled look on your face. “Suki, you have to be patient. Then I promise you’ll get what you want.” Although you put up a front, you were aching for him, your underwear was damp no doubt.
You stood up, ignoring the frustrated look on his face. he is going to be patient because you knew he wouldn’t ignore something you said. He never does, especially when he’s in this headspace. You took the blanket off his lower body. You slowly pulled his shorts off, amused by the wet patch you saw. Now his perky ass was clad in only some black boxer. You could see the straining erection, his underwear struggling to contain it, already dampened with the evidence of his arousal.
You debated for only a second.
You grabbed the waistband, Katsuki understanding the hint and lifting himself up slightly so you could take the material off. His enormous cock sprung out, the head an angry purple colour from the lack of attention. It was thick and girthy, and the length was nothing to laugh about either. It was a bit like Katsuki to be honest. Muscular and enormous. You loved how his masculine and sculpted figure fit in yours. It felt like he could protect you from the world.
You grabbed an oil, rubbing it in your palms before you began rubbing it on his thighs. Not before pressing a soft kiss on them and taking an adorable little bite. You massaged them both, careful not to touch where Katsuki desperately wanted you to touch. “Be patient Katsuki” you reminded him as you continued kneading his sculpted cream coloured thighs. Sometimes you’d get dangerously close to his centre, but not quite enough that Katsuki could experience the blessing of your touch. Enough was enough, however.
Katsuki breathed a sigh of relief when you stopped.
Katsuki’s body felt renewed, all his knots having been achingly soothed, his body smelt of fresh herbs and oils that left him smelling amazing, but the only oil he really craved was out of his reach at the moment. Not for long though.
You stood up from the bed and headed to one of your cupboards, already knowing none of those oils were tailored for that kind of use.
You went through the impressive amounts of flavoured lubes, then deciding on a water based watermelon one. Choosing was a struggle, knowing that your husband only bought you the best of the best.
You returned to an unmoved Katsuki, waving the lube at him in a goofy way. Shit, you were perfect, Katsuki will kill anyone that says you like this. Goods jiggling freely and showing the lube you were going to taste while sucking his cock.
You sat on the bed, spreading his legs to allow you to comfortably settle between them.
Fuck yes. Yes. Yes . “Yes”.
You took your own shorts off, leaving you in a delicious orange thong that did nothing to cover your delectable ass. The only thing keeping you from becoming fully naked.
You applied the lube on your hands, careful from putting too much.
Katsuki groaned audibly when your hands touched his cock, rubbing the tip, which was a painful purple colour, and then dipping your hands down. You pumped him, making sure not to go too fast, and applying special attention to all his sensitive spots. You squeezed his balls gently, then licked his tip, using the soft lower part of your tongue to stimulate him, then suddenly switching to the rougher part.
“Ah- ah- baby, where did you - you learn to do that ?!” Katsuki knew he wasn’t going to last long with your body out on display to him, and your mouth softly teasing him. You opened your mouth, taking him in one inch at a time. You hollow your cheeks, hearing a broken moan from Katsuki, followed by a groan as you bobbed your head up and down. You kept using your tongue and hands, not leaving any part of him untouched.
Katsuki felt like he was in heaven. Your naughty tongue did wonders on all his sensitive spots, humming every now and then, you must have liked the taste. You bobbed your head faster, Katsuki had to contain himself from face fucking you without care. Drool dripped down your chin and your hair was a mess, fuck, you were absolutely gorgeous.
The final push was seeing one of your hands leave his cock make its way to your underwear, sliding the pesky things down slowly, giving Katsuki a show. You were absolutely drenched.
You moaned around his length as you started to work on your clit. Then your fingers slipped inside you seamlessly, making erotic squelching sounds that he knows all too well and next thing Katsuki was crying out.
“Fuck, princess- I’m coming- ah, coming.” You bobbed your head with new found vigour, sucking and squeezing even when you felt his warm cream gush into your mouth.
“Teddy bear —“ he groaned, stopping mid sentence to let out the loudest moan moan you ever heard, with flushed cheeks, mouth ajar and watery cherry eyes. Henever took his eyes off you, drinking in the sight of you enthusiastically drinking his cum, not wanting to waste a single drop. You kept going, even when your eyes watered and your throat burned. You put both hands on his thighs to steady yourself, keeping your working mouth on his cock as you drank and drank. After it seemed like that was all, you took your mouth off and started giving licks all over his painfully sensitive cock, cleaning it of any remains. He tried complaining but you didn’t stop until the last drop was licked.
“How was that massage baby ?”
Katsuki was too busy catching breath to answer, but maybe that was all the answer you needed.
He wants to please you now, to satisfy you like you satisfied him.
One look at your naked body had his now flaccid cock springing back to life.
“I loved it babe, but now it’s your turn, c’mere.” He sprung up, grasping your legs and spreading them apart. He saw your thong between your knees, slipping it out slowly while laughing.
“Why wear this ? You might as well have been wearing nothing.” He mused, looking at the tiny orange thong.
“I wanted to seduce you, Suki.”
That made him ‘ah’, as he nodded amusedly. He threw it somewhere in the room, immensely glad that you wore it for him, for him, only him.
His tongue grazed your slit, not entering you. He wrapped his mouth around your clit and sucked. You fisted the sheets as the breath got knocked out of you. He ate you out vigorously, not giving you a moment to breath. His fingers rubbed your slit, teasing you while his mouth devoured you. Suddenly, his mouth traveled down to your slit, and his fingers went to rub your clit. He lapped up at the wetness, loving the taste of you. His hand left you to grab your leg and put it over his muscled shoulder for better access.
He met your eyes, giving you an arrogant smirk as his tongue teased you relentlessly, traveling up and down, circling your clit, but never quite wrapping around it and sucking like before.
“Suki, please, make me feel good.” You begged with tears in your eyes. Even though Katsuki wanted to tease you more, he couldn’t.
In no time, your thighs were shaking as the knot in your belly was threatening to burst.
“Stop” that one sentence had Katsuki detaching from your clit, looking troubled. A familiar insecure look.
Did he fail to make you feel good ? What did he do wrong ?
“What ?” He asked, wiping your love juices off his chin.
“I want to do it together this time Suki. It was too good, I couldn’t have lasted anymore if I didn’t stop you when I did.” You reassured him, watching the insecure look on his face vanish. Before, when you and Katsuki were merely dating, you were surprised by the way he behaved around you, but now, you were used to it- dare you say, you loved the way he values your words and attention. He made you feel like a queen, even though others would claim that time of love is overwhelming and suffocating.
He cradled you gently, kissing your head. What an adorable request, well, he couldn’t disappoint you now could he ?
He laid your head on the pillow, putting both of your legs over his shoulders letting you give his semi hardened length a few pumps. You were both lubed and ready enough, but Katsuki still took his time in entering you, not wanting to hurt you, he knew he wasn’t small by any means, not even close.
He loved positions like this, where he could look at your face and see how you were feeling. He was fully in you, and he could see that it wasn’t the most comfortable thing for you, so his thrusts were gentle at first. Soon, after he heard you become breathless and clenching around him, he started to become rougher, slamming into your G-spot.
You were so warm, and tight….
He pistoned into your welcoming honeypot. “Does it -ah—feel good ?” He asked, slowing down slightly so you could answer him.
“Yes Suki, don’t slow down ! Please rub my clit” you said guiding his hand where you wanted it and he obliged. He kept thrusting at his usual fast pace, your tits vibrate with every thrust, prompting him to finally pinch one. He rubbed your clit too, feeling you clench around him.
This is where he wanted to be all day, connected with his darling, making the both of you feel good.
He angled his thrusts to hit your G-spot, making your pleasure overwhelming, which naturally translated to his. His muscles contorted as he gave one final, powerful thrust, coming undone inside your warm centre. He kept stimulating you, and it didn’t take you long to join him in bless, milking him as you let out a sinful moan, pulling him closer to you, seeking his warmth amids being in the clouds. He kept riding you through your orgasm, eventually his thrusts becoming nothing more than shallow.
He felt satisfied beyond measure, slowly taking his cock out and seeing his semen leak. Be bent down, kissing you gently on the lips. “Did it feel good?” He asked, wanting reassurance that he did well. He did this every time despite it being more than obvious he did amazing.
“Amazing, did you like your massage though?” You questioned, making him scoff at your idiotic question.
“Damn right, best massage ever.”
He then cleaned you up, then with your bare bodies cuddling, you fell in deep sleep.
“I love you.” He whispered to your snoozing head on his naked chest.
“More than anything.”

Favorite fics by some of your buddies on Tumblr and Discord?
God nonnie. You fucked up big time. You underestimated just how hard I can appreciate my friends. I’d like to formally apologize for how long and in-depth this got, but I would pick a stopping point and then go ‘oh! but i cant leave out so-and-so’ and then this got mega out of hand.
Organized by author and not genre! And if I didn’t include any of your works (or I did and it was not the one you wanted), please, don’t take it personally. I am trusting everyone who comes across this post to read the tags themselves, but for two of the fics I have left TWs in front of them.
Cassia’s fics:
Internet Enemies by @cassiopeia721 (x)
At school, Midoriya Izuku is ignored at best. At home, he's raised by a single mother who seems to be always taking night shifts, and who he communicates with almost exclusively through notes on lunch boxes and texts lying about his location. As such, Midoriya Izuku turns to the internet— or more specifically, an All Might fan server on discord— for companionship. Like most things in his life, it goes wrong eventually. It just takes longer than usual.
hypnic jump
Izuku finds himself somewhere he doesn't recognize in an oversized green jumpsuit with a hero he's never seen at his back. He's pretty sure he's dreaming, and subsequent events only solidify that theory into rock-solid certainty.

Kestrel’s fics:
Compass by @autisticmidoriyas (x)
Midoriya Izuku never had the chance to become a hero—or even to grow up. Fifteen years after his death, Akatani Izuku tries to save the life of a dying hero and in return receives a target painted on his back and a power humming in his bones.
All Might, Sir Nighteye, Ground Zero, Suneater, and Skyquake are left scrambling in the wake of Lemillion’s death to figure out who now holds One For All.
Intertwined with all this, the League of Villains’ war against Japan burns on. With the loss of Lemillion, the advantage is now theirs, and with the loss of One For All, victory is all-but-assured.
(What the villains don’t know is that One For All lives on in the blood of a boy who was always meant to be a hero.)
triskelion
A few seconds, and their lives—their life—is changed forever. Where three people used to exist, there is now only one.
While visiting the mall with their class, Izuku, Katsuki, and Shouto are the victims of someone whose quirk can fuse together objects … and people.
Permanently.
Facing down the fact that they may never be unfused, a long adjustment period lies ahead of them as they learn how to be themself and figure out where they fit into their families, their class, and their world.
the meaning of hope
One day, the smoke will reach its end. They hold out hope for that. Even with quirks, fires cannot burn forever. They will consume all their fuel, until there is nothing left, and they will wither and die.

Never Take Your Problem Children To Costco by DanceInTheKitchen
“SECURE THE EGGS! I REPEAT SECURE THE EGGS!” Bakugou bellowed.
“YES SIR! AYE AYE SIR!” Izuku saluted.
Shouta is staring at his students, one of whom seems to be reenacting the Lion King with a carton of eggs while the other salutes him, and wonders. What the hell did he do in his past life to deserve this?? Past him must have committed some great sin, like putting sugar in his coffee, or being a dog person.
Or, Aizawa, Bakugou and Midoriya walk into a Costco.
grow as we go
The dorms were silent, but out here in the open air, she felt both isolated and free. Isolated from the world, but free from the responsibility crushing her, isolated from her friends and family, but free from judgement. Up here, with only the stars and Iida as company, Momo felt like she could breathe.
They sat next to each other in silence, watching the stars silently crawl their way across the sky. Iida doesn’t break the silence, but he also doesn’t leave. It’s a silent promise, to listen if she needs it, or to keep her company if she doesn’t want to speak. It’s comforting.
She’s not sure when she speaks, it’s somewhere between staring up at the stars, and looking at the shiny dew covering the grass of the hills behind UA.
“I’m not ready.”
Or, with graduation right around the corner, Momo has a conversation with Iida about what growing up means.

A Helping Hand for All by azureskyy
Izuku doesn't know why everyone's talking about a certain hero analyst online. He's tried browsing through the forums and other sites, but he just can't find the person they're talking about.
Maybe he'll ask them later. For now, he has some analysis to do.
Or: Izuku is a well-known hero and quirk analyst across multiple social media platforms.
Not that he's aware of it, of course.
A Missed Chance
Two paths cross then diverge. In another universe, perhaps, they could have walked on the same path; they could have talked for the second time that day, and Izuku could have been given an opportunity that could change his entire life. And maybe, just maybe, he would have taken it.
But this isn’t that universe.
Or: What if All Might wasn't able to find Izuku after the Sludge Villain Incident?

“Did you think you’d be safe from me forever? That you could chip away at my power base and I would not care or try to hunt you down?” The man asks as he steps forwards.
Izuku scrambles backwards in his bed, searching the covers as he goes for his phone. If he can get a text off to All Might or Aizawa-sensei he can alert people to the potential danger.
But even as he moves, something in the back of his mind tells him he had heard this voice before. A different time, a different context, but the same voice.

In District Twelve, no one volunteers.
When Aizawa Shouta’s name is called, no one says a word. He stands there for a moment, feeling all the world slow around him, and then he straightens his shoulders and walks to his death.
He will die fighting. At the very least, Shouta can promise that.
Shouta's name is drawn for the Hunger Games, alongside Shirakumo Oboro. No one from their district has ever won.
damage control
After All for One's defeat, Aizawa Shouta is grasping for ways to protect his students. At the same time, a discrepancy in Midoriya's behavior leads Shouta down a dangerous line of investigation and to a single question: if Midoriya is the U.A. traitor.
Between the Wind and the Water
Staying at U.A. for winter break, Izuku hopes it'll be a quiet chance to spend the holidays with Todoroki and supervising teachers All Might and Aizawa-sensei.
It's just his luck a gift-shopping trip turns into a gift from a villain, and Izuku's new Half-Cold, Half-Hot Quirk is not so easy to control. Neither are the secrets he's been carefully keeping.
a glimpse of tomorrow (looking back)
Subject: Aldera Time Capsule Ceremony Forwarded Message— This year marks ten years for the Aldera Middle School graduating class of 20XX.To celebrate, we would like to invite pro heroes Kingpin and Deku, Aldera alumni, to participate in a public time-capsule opening. We are incredibly proud to have helped them on their journeys to becoming heroes, and would be most honored to receive them as guests and for them to speak at the ceremony. [...]
"Well," Deku says, leaning over to turn the monitor towards him. His eyes flick over the contents of the email one more time. "If they haven't changed, then I guess we could return the favor."
Ten years down the line, Bakugou and Midoriya are invited to a time capsule ceremony at their middle school to read letters from their past selves, and look back on their past and how it shaped their future. For anyone else, it would have been a celebration.
For the two of them, it's an opportunity.
A look into Bakugou and Midoriya's past—through a future neither of them imagined—as pro heroes, agency partners, and friends.
of the mighty heart
It was just complicated. Kacchan had changed. Izuku had changed. What was between them was constant—Kacchan was always there—but even constants, Izuku supposed, could change, too.
...You saved me, sometimes you say Deku and it doesn’t sound so much like an insult, you say it like you mean it, you say it like you mean me.
After the war ends and the dust settles, Izuku is left in pain and feeling useless. There's still so much to do and people to save, and it's just... too much for one person.
And then there's Kacchan.

There’s a sour taste in Shouta’s mouth as he stares at Jackrabbit’s bright smile. The smile he’s wearing in every clear photo of him. It somewhat reminds Shouta of All Might’s smile.
Jackrabbit might be a menace to the Commission, but there’s no way Shouta can believe that a man with that smile is anything less than good to his core.
“And I’m your last resort to handle this quietly.” He says knowingly, keeping his thoughts to himself.
“Precisely.”
Shouta’s gut response is to refuse.
The words “I don’t kill.” are halfway up his throat before they become stuck.
As an underground hero, sometimes Shouta Aizawa is called upon to do darker jobs than one might expect a hero to have to do. This time, when he's tasked with taking out a vigilante who's managed to bother the Hero Public Safety Commission one too many times, he's not sure he'll be able to follow through.

101 Open MHA Gen Prompts
I had a very long ask game where people gave me fake titles and I came up with fic ideas to go with them. Multiple people asked to use some of them as prompts, and some of my friends have lately maligned the lack of gen prompts out there, so I decided to compile them all into a single post. Almost all of these are gen, aka not shipping, but you can do what you want I’m not your boss. Everything is free and open to use WITH CREDIT, so have fun with my word vomit.

71. To Whom It May Concern - The kids find a mysterious collection of letters from previous students hidden in the ceiling of the classroom. Some are ominous, some are incomprehensible. Aizawa has no answers. They enthusiastically go to try and solve the mystery within, but that excitement quickly diminishes the more they find out.
72. Of Popsicles and Ponytails - All Might gets in a discussion with the other teachers about whether the Clark Kent glasses thing would actually work. All Might bets them it does, so he goes around town with no disguise other than his hair being up, and no one bats an eye.
73. All Men are Not Born Equal - Word gets out to the public that izuku used to be quirkless. Everyone finds out just how deep anti-quirkless sentiments run when some begin to question whether a quirkless kid should be at ua, regardless of whether or not he has a quirk now.
74. Childhood is the kingdom where nobody dies - Something about encountering death in person for the first time being the dividing line between child and adult.
75. Sins of the Father - All for One has had many children over the centuries, and has made numerous attempts to groom them into the ideal heir with several different methods. None of them worked though.
76. Where The Dead Come To Rest - The kids come home after a long, grueling mission where they saw some shit, and are too tired to process what they went through. They take off their gear for plain clothes, then sit in the common room in silence long into the night, not wanting to open themselves up but also not wanting to be alone.
77. Rivalry - Nighteye tries to pit Izuku and Mirio against one another. It goes right over Mirio’s head, but Izuku becomes convinced the other boy is in on Nighteye’s plan to wear him down until he gives up One for All.
78. A Subtle Language - All Might and Nana never said out loud that they loved each other, but little things told them that they did. All Might hopes to pass a similar love down to his own successor. But Izuku is very different than himself as a kid, and he needs to learn a new subtle language of affection.
79. It’s Gone - One for All stops working one day.
80. A Sight For Sore Eyes - All Might looking after Izuku in the aftermath of the second movie.
81. Loose Lips (sink ships) - Bakugou blurts out something about One for All during a rage, so the rest of the class jump on him and Izuku for answers.
82. No Expectations - Word gets out that All Might is going to choose a successor. None of the theories or speculation online resemble Izuku in the slightest.
83. Eden was Only a Garden - Izuku gets hit with a quirk that erases some of his most traumatic memories, but in doing so loses part of who he is.
84. Run it Down - With all Izuku’s new quirks and his incredible skill, some of the other students with similar powers (Iida, Sero, Uraraka) start to feel like izuku is upstaging them. And it affects their friendship.
85. Fool's Gold - Bakugou grows even more jealous of Izuku having One for All, and his relationship with All Might. He thinks that if he could just prove himself to be more worthy, All Might would change his mind and name him his successor. But in reality, he ends up jeopardizing the relationship they already have.
86. somewhere down the road - The final deadline for Nighteye’s predictions passes, and All Might lives. He debates telling Izuku, as even though it would be a weight off the boy’s mind, he doesn’t want to jinx it. He will still die eventually after all.
87. Just For You - All Might has certain rules and boundaries for fan interactions that he completely ignores for Izuku.
88. if these walls could talk (their whispers would be maddening) - Montage of training accidents in a ‘cursed’ ua gym
89. If Only I Could... - Nighteye tells Mirio about One for All, including that he thinks he’s more deserving than Izuku and he plans to pressure him into giving it up. Mirio struggles with the knowledge that his mentor, someone he respected more than anything, only saw him as a replacement for All Might, meanwhile watching Izuku strain under the pressure of that mentor’s impossible expectations.
90. This is a Test Designed to Provoke an Emotional Response - shameless Blade Runner AU
91. Once and for All - Retelling of the Superman story “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?” with All Might. Some new heroes use much more aggressive and violent tactics against villains while also upstaging All Might. That, and there general approval from the public cause All Might to question his moral code.
92. Sitting In The Rain - Tsuyu likes to just sit out in the rain sometimes. Not do anything, just sit there. Some friends decide to join her.
93. At Sundown - Mysterious creatures start attacking ua every night. The gang works tirelessly during the day to find the cause and a solution, while defending their school and each other at night.
94. The 1000th time's the charm - Uraraka has been practicing a new move in secret but they just can’t get it right. She wants it to be perfect before showing it off. But one attempt gets her seriously hurt while training alone at night in one of the gyms, and she’s too hurt to get up to the phone to call for help.
95. Sunflower Seeds - All Might attempts to start a garden as a new hobby.
96. What It Means To Be Human - Sun god Toshi starts living among people.
97. Eyes on Me - All Might teaches Izuku some unarmed fighting moves to defend himself from bullies.
98. one remains - Izuku has developed all but one of the quirks he’s slated to, and he has no idea what it will be. Anxiety ensues.
99. Come Back Home - Izuku vanishes from campus and everyone assumes he was kidnapped, but in reality he ran away to try and clear his head after a depressive spiral. He goes by train as far away as he can until he comes to his senses and calls the others.
100. I Won - Izuku accidentally managed to kill Shigaraki during a skirmish, and while everyone around him praises his heroics, he struggles to deal with the fact that he killed someone.
101. Ivory Tower - All Might grapples with how much izuku suffered as a quirkless person, how he could have done more for quirkless rights in his time as a hero, and how now people may not care as much because he’s retired.

“That Time We Got Stuck in a Cave”
Pairings: Aged Up! Astronaut Bakugou x Aged up! Fem! Astronaut Reader Pronouns: she/her Warnings: slight violence (a small crash happens but it is mentioned briefly), minor injury referenced (but not in detail), cursing
Three Things Before You Start Reading:
There’s no adult/suggestive content in this post, I aged them up because it seemed kinda weird to have 15/16 year old children traveling alone throughout space. I made them early 20s in this.
Also, the reader is half alien and half human, so basically (y/n) looks human with sharp teeth and white eyes (it’s part of the quirk basically).
Thanks to Marie (@dailydoseofscenarios) for creating this event and involving me! Can’t wait for the next one <3
If you are interested in seeing more work from this event, you can click here.
The girl huffed, tossing the wrench on the floor beside her before standing up and wiping her dirty hands onto her dark blue and white coveralls, the sleeves tied around her waist and a white tank top tucked into the pants. “Stupid fucking pod.” She grumbled, kicking the giant hunk of shining metal with the toe of her industrial boot.
“Try not to damage it more, (y/n).” Kaminari teased with a laugh, holding out his hand with a bag of candy in it. The girl nodded in thanks before taking some of the candy in her freshly cleaned hand. “What’s the issue? The circuit board still acting up?” The electric blonde took a seat near the tools the girl had laying around, looking at the pod and the exposed circuit board on of the machine.
“I don’t get why it’s not working?! The updates on the others weren’t this fucking hard!” The girl threw her hands up exasperatedly, glaring at the inanimate object.
“Did you try your lazers? It’s just for the inside panel right? Or is it the doors again?” Kirishima appeared, his red eyes looking over the mess from where he stood in the doorway to the vehicle bay.
“I forgot about that! Kiri, you’re a genius!” (y/n) smiled widely revealing her sharp teeth, throwing a set of protective eye goggles at Kirishima and Kaminari, the blonde slipping his on before going back to eating his candy.
Kirishima walked over to where the blonde sat, outstretching his hand as Denki poured some of the candy into his hand before they both watched the girl slip a pair of heat resistant gloves onto her hands as she looked at the broken door, her white eyes glowing as a matching white laser shot from her eyes, hitting the door.
“Is it working?” Kirishima called out as the girl paused her lasers, going closer to the door to see if it was working they way she wanted it to.
“Yeah, I think so!” (Y/n) called back. “Kiri can you come help me hold this up?” Kirishima nodded, getting up and lifting the heavy door to its correct position. He held it there for a moment as the hot metal cooled, the hinges no longer glowing orange as he released his hold on it. “Thanks Kiri! That’s perfect.”
“No problem.” The redhead smiled, pushing up the sleeves of his dark navy coveralls.
“Come on electric boy, you’re up.” (Y/n) waved over Denki as he begrudgingly sat his candy bag down, walking over to the pod’s newly placed circuit board.
“Don’t touch my candy Kirishima!” Denki narrowed his eyes at the boy, who paused, eyes wide at being caught eating from the bag. Denki pointed his pointer finger at the circuit board, a small bolt of electricity hitting the board as the pod whirled to life.
“Did it work? Is it fixed?” The boys asked, looking curiously at the girl who stood with a small proud smile on her face.
“I’ll have to take it out for a test run, but it should be fine now.” She answered with a definitive nod. “Can you tell Ka-Bakugou that I’ll be taking it for a test flight?”
“First name basis huh?” Kaminari elbowed the girl, his eyebrows wiggling up and down as the smirk grew on his face.
“Fuck off and go tell him!” The average height girl laughed, ruffling Denki’s hair before pushing him towards the door.
“Ok...Captain Fucker.” Kirishima teased before the boys ran down the hall laughing loudly as the girl rolled her eyes pointing her middle fingers in the direction they ran off in.
“Alright, let’s see how this thing runs.” (y/n) mumbles to herself as she gears up, placing the airtight helmet on her head before clicking it into place as she stepped into the airlock. “Alright Sero, you can open Gate 3D.” She said into the comm system, as she turned the pod on and warmed up the engine.
“Copy that.” Sero responded, clicking the button from his control panel as the large door opened into the vast blackness that was open space. “So, I heard...you and the Captain, huh?” Sero asked after a moment of silence as the girl rolled her eyes with a groan.
“I’m gonna kill those two.” The girl laughed as she pressed a few button on the control panel of the pod, glancing over the readings on the screen all of them lighting up green. “Alright Sero, I’m disconnecting the tether now.”
“Copy that. Tether disconnected. What are your readings?”
“Everything’s at 100% and fully operational.” (y/n) replies with a smile, proud of her handiwork. A moment passed before the readings began flashing red, before the pod went dark the control panel no longer lighting up as the girl could only watch as the ship drifted from the main ship and towards the large purple planet nearby, the small pod getting brought down by the planet’s gravitational pull.
“Sero?” (y/n) called into the comms, but got no response. “Sero can you hear me?” The girl switched the channels, stopping on the personal channel she had with their captain.
“Shit!” (y/n) yelled as the pod spun, dropping to the surface before skidding to a stop, the girl’s head hitting against the side of the chair making a small crack in her helmet. “Fuck.” She mumbled to herself after sitting still for a moment, gathering her bearings before she had to exit the pod to survey the damage.
“Can...hear?” Her comms began cutting out, but she had gotten a response and that was all that mattered.
“Bakugou?!” (y/n) called into the comms again, releasing the button to see if she was going to get another response. The silence was deafening as her hope began to dwindle. She was stuck on a deserted exo-planet without a working comm system or a working craft, not to mention whatever else lived on the planet. “Fuck!” (y/n) got out of the beaten up pod, her white eyes growing teary as she saw the level of damage. “There’s no way it’s flyable and I don’t think I have enough tools to repair it.”
(y/n) looked to the lavender sky, a group of dark purple clouds gathering as aa lightening bolt crackled from the clouds. A shining black craft caught her attention as it landed on the other side of a valley, the girl standing on a small hill to see the door open and the black and orange suit that belonged to Bakugou Katsuki.
“Katsuki? Can you hear me? Is this goddamn piece of shit comm working?” (y/n) said angrily as she watched his small figure across the ravine.
“I can hear you Shitty Girl.” Bakugou said with a small laugh. “Are you hurt?”
“No just the piece of shit pod. I wrote 10 fucking complaints to the UAIGSS and Commander Nezu and I haven’t gotten one response! NOT ONE! I knew those things were defective!”
“You can rant later, Shitty Girl. We’ve gotta find somewhere to wait out this storm. I don’t like the look of those clouds.” Bakugou cut the girl off, warily looking towards the horizon before grabbing two large packs from the pod before looking for a way to get to her.
“Alright. I can see a covered landing over there. It might even be a cave.” (y/n) said pointing in the other direction as her eyes glanced over the barren and deserted landscape. A thin layer of fog covered the ground in the horizon, making it hard to see the terrain.
A group of fire destroyed trees sat in the barren and cracked lavender soil, sharp rock structures sticking up in strange ways around them. The sound of thunder caught the pair’s attention as Bakugou handed the girl the large pack she had failed to take when she had originally went out.
“Thanks.” (y/n) smiled. “Let’s go, I guess.” She let out a sigh as they decided on a way to get to the cave (y/n) had spotted earlier.
“The atmosphere of this stupid planet is negatively charged so it blew out your engine...mine’s shot too. I told Mina and Kirishima to wait until it passes to land the ship.”
“Wouldn’t the ship be fucked then?” (y/n) wondered, the pair sitting down in the cave opening as the clouds blocked out the sun and loud claps of thunder echoed. Rain poured from the sky in sheets as the wind picked up slightly, the burned and hollow trees shaking in the wind like paper.
“No. I had Hatsume upgrade the engines so they should be fine.” Bakugou shrugged. “How’s your oxygen filter?”
“It’s fine. You?”
“Good.” He mumbled back. A moment of silence passed before he let out a breath, leaning back against the rock wall of the cave. “You don’t think there’s any crazy animals around here, right?”
“Not sure. My ship wasn’t able to do a full scan of the planet before it was fried.” (y/n) mumbled.
“I didn’t run a scan, I was distracted.” Bakugou rolled his eyes, upset with himself.
“Distracted?” (y/n) repeated. “Was it because you were thinking about little old me?” (y/n) teased as the explosive blonde’s cheeks flushed lightly, a scoff leaving his lips.
“Shut up.” He responded defensively, though that was enough of an answer to tell the girl she was right.
“Kiri, Kami, and Sero found out...it’s only a matter of time before Mina does too...” (y/n) laughed lightly, her eyes looking out at the rain, a soft smile on her face.
“So basically, a short amount of time before the whole UAIGSS knows?” Bakugou scoffed as he put his arm around the girl a laugh bubbling from his lips before he let out a sigh.
“You don’t think we’ll get in trouble do you? It’s technically a breach of the rules for members to be engaged in a romantic relationship.”
“Fuck that...people do it all the time.” Bakugou thought for a minute. “Todoroki and Shitty Deku...”
“Are gonna keep calling him that? Didn’t you start that in flight school?” She cut him off a gleam in her eyes as she looked over his face.
“Even before that.” He admitted sheepishly. “Anyways, Commander Aizawa and Commander Yamada...” Bakugou rattled off as the girl’s eyes widened.
“Present Mic and Aizawa?! They finally got together?”
“Present Mic?”
“Yeah, that’s what they call him.” The girl shrugged. “How’d you hear about all of this stuff anyway?”
“Captain’s quarters at the UAIGSS...shit gets wild.” Bakugou shrugged nonchalantly. “Maybe you’ll be able to go next time...I heard that Nezu’s been thinking about promoting you to Co-Captain...of course you’d be my co-captain.”
“Oh of course.” (y/n) said back sarcastically as they both laughed, Bakugou nudging his girlfriend’s arm with his own.
Their laughing died down when the faint sound of a hiss caused a chill to run up their spines and their eyes to widen as they looked between each other and behind them.
“What the fuck was that?” (y/n) screeched trying to keep her voice quiet as they both hopped up and Bakugou got into fighting stance beside her.
“Do you really want that question answered?!” Bakugou fired back.

a/n: I absolutely love writing these comedy/crack style plots, they’re so fun! They just fit so well with Bakugou’s character, what can I say?
Starting next post, I’ll finally be posting some spicy content ;) Not nsfw exactly, but I’d give it a PG-13 rating if I had to.
Anyway, its 3 am and I’m about to pass out. Enjoy~!
"You smell like...cherries?" Bakugou takes a deeper whiff of the crook of my neck. "No, wait... Vanilla?"
I bite my lip, trying not to chuckle too hard and disturb his adorable sleuthing.
"I got it," he moves up to stare me right in the eyes for my answer. "Coconut." When I nod, he smirks victoriously. "I knew it." He peppers my face and neck in soft kisses, his grip on my waist tightening. "Admit it, your boyfriend is amazing."
I tilt my head and scrunch my eyes. "You're...okay."
His grip turns into erratic twitches as he tickles me. "Just okay, huh?"
My breath is stolen by laughter. "Okay! You're amazing!" I curse his knowledge of my ticklish spots.
Bakugou ceases his mischievous torture and returns to our original cuddling position: his one arm on top of my waist and the other enveloping my shoulders as I rest on his chest. We bask in the silence of each other's warmth and breathing, the faint sound of his heartbeat thudding in my ear.
His warm fingers draw patterns against exposed skin near the hem of my shirt. "We haven't been out on a proper date for a while, we should go this weekend," he proposes out of the blue.
I mull over the idea. We've both been busy with training, and we both mutually agree that we prefer spending more intimate time with each other like this than being out on a formal date. "What brought this up?" I ask, genuinely curious.
"It's just a random thing, no big deal," he snorts, trying to pass it off casually, but I know him well enough to know better.
"You saw Todoroki taking Midoriya out, didn't you?"
I hear the clinking of his teeth as he clenches his jaw, taking that as a positive response.
I sigh, loosing draping my arm onto his chest. "Katsuki-"
"I just wanna make you feel special, okay?" he blurts out, terse but affectionate in his own way. "I don't want you to think I don't care about you or that you're missing out on things other couples do. I'm your man, you deserve more."
My fingers softly trail up his arm. In other words, he feels like he's not doing enough in our relationship. I peck his lips. "Okay, let's do it. But let's not go somewhere too fancy. I don't feel like dressing up and all that. Besides, you're too...excited for those quiet places."
His eyebrows furrow. "Whaddaya mean by that?"
I want to chuckle at his defiance. "You get very easily riled up. Sometimes, you just need to tone it down a notch."
Though he pouts, he mutters, "I'll be on my best behavior, promise."
.
The weekend finally rolls around. The Sun shines brightly, there isn't a cloud in the sky, the temperature is brisk, nothing could possibly go wrong.
Bakugou agreed to meet at noon so we could go out for lunch at this cute outdoor restaurant downtown. I dress in a somewhat-fancy-somewhat-casual grey sweater, black leather pants, and Chelsea boots. While I'm deciding on what accessories to style with my outfit, there's a knock at my door. I glance at the clock, only then realizing it's 12:30, and rush to the door.
Bakugou stands in the doorway, looking like an absolute snack. For some reason, he's dressed in a crisp white button down, fitted black slacks down above his ankles held up by black suspenders, and brown dress shoes. Slack jawed, I barely have a second to comment on how amazing he looks before he storms into my room and I catch a whiff of his cologne, wanting to shower him with compliments.
"Katsuki-"
"I woke up late, I'm sorry," he growls, throwing a black strip of fabric around his neck and making a beeline for my full length mirror. He's trying to knot a tie around his neck, I realize. "My alarm didn't go off for some stupid reason, and I wanted to wake up early to get you flowers before coming here. This date's already ruined and I'm not even ready- AND THIS STUPID TIE JUST WON'T TIE PROPERLY!" Clearly, he's already worked up and his tie won't cooperate with him.
At first, it's cute watching him struggle, but I realize he's genuinely bothered by this entire situation. I wrap my arms around his torso from behind. "Babe, it's fine. We're not in a hurry, just take your time." I assure him softly. "I was just finishing up myself."
At the sound of my voice, my boyfriend releases his tension in a sigh. "You're right. I promised I'll be calmer today." He finally finishes tying his tie and smooths it over.
I smile and kiss his cheek to comfort him. "You look so handsome."
A light blush colors Bakugou's cheeks as he runs his hands through his hair. "I did it for you, dummy," he admits in the softest voice.
We stare at each other in the mirror fondly for a moment, and I ruffle his hair. "Let's go, whenever you're ready."
As we're getting ready to leave the dorms, Kaminari and Mineta are playing some sort of weird game in the hallway with Mineta's purple spheres where Kaminari tries to hit them with his lightning.
One of them flies past Bakugou's head, just missing it, and he almost goes off. "I swear if one of those things hits me in the face, you idiots are-!" Cutting himself off at the end, he takes a deep breath. "I'm calm, I'm calm. Let's just get out of here."
It's cute watching him struggle to stay calm for my sake.
And it doesn't get any easier. Somewhere during the walk over to the restaurant, the sprinkler system turns on in someone's lawn and managed to almost spritz Bakugou's crisp outfit. He says nothing and holds in his complaints, like a true trooper. The next thing to go wrong is the train getting delayed. Such a small nuisance is too much for the boy, as evidenced by the wild tapping of his foot on the floor to the point where some of the other passengers stare at him.
"If I could use my quirk, I would've just blasted us out of here to the restaurant," he mutters in my ear.
I squeeze his hand in mine. "You're doing a great job, babe."
The smile that appears on his face is absolute bliss.
After the train finally moves and we reach our stop, we make our way through the city hand in hand, talking only to each other.
"You've out-dressed me, Katsuki. Where did these clothes even come from?"
"My mom always told me a formal outfit is a staple," the boy shrugs in response. "I just didn't want to wear the jacket because it's still daytime."
In the back of my head, I realize that Bakugou seems to have an unconscious eye for dressing presentable, he just chooses to wear joggers and a T-shirt all the time.
"I just figured we were going to a nice place and I wanted to look good, you know?" he continues. "Even though everything's kinda gone to hell so far today."
My heart melts for how hard he's trying, and I decide to hug his arm for comfort. "You're doing amazing. I'm having fun just being with you so far."
In return, he kisses my forehead. "The date's not over yet, we still need to eat." He takes out his phone. "I just need to make sure we're going-"
We collide into someone who's not watching where they're going, and, unfortunately, Bakugou's phone gets knocked out of his hand. Almost in slow motion, we watch as the poor device crashes against the concrete face down. I can feel his grip on my hand tighten as he growls and picks up the phone, hoping for the best, only to realize there are now spidery cracks across the surface.
I hold my breath for the inevitable outburst, which doesn't come. A vein pops in Bakugou's neck and a muscle jumps in his jaw, but no sound escapes his lips except an extended, harsh exhale. "Can I check it on your phone, babe?" he asks through clenched teeth, and I offer to be navigator myself out of pity.
When we finally get to the restaurant, we sit down and have our meal in peace. The blond seems to relax as food slowly fills his belly and we carry light conversation with each other.
"You finished all the rolls already?!" I guffaw, covering my face to keep myself from being too loud, "Were you that hungry?"
"I told you I got up late!" he growls, ripping off a piece from the last roll, "I haven't eaten yet all day."
I take his hand from across the table. "And you deserve it, with the day you've had so far."
Smooth as a criminal, he kisses my fingers gently, "At least you're here. But you shouldn't give me your hand so easily, I might bite you because of how hungry I am." He jokingly starts play biting my hand, making me laugh again. And just for a moment, our eyes catch each other's, sharing our affections wordlessly.
Until something - or someone - crashes into our table.
Both of us get to our feet instinctively and inspect the damage. The person who had crashed our table is a male waiter we recognized moving around since we've been here.
"That man is a villain! He's trying to rob the place!" one of the staff announces from across the room.
The man slowly tries standing on his feet, catching onto the closest thing to help himself. Which happened to be Bakugou's pant leg. Looking up, the sorry villain realizes he's just sealed his fate.
Bakugou's face is crimson with impatient rage, bottled up from the entire day and ready to explode onto the nearest victim.
"What. The actual. Fuck?" he murmurs from deep in his throat down at the villain, who's eyes are widening as he registers he might actually be facing a devil. The boy's breathing gets ragged. "You have exactly," he pulls and undoes the knot around his neck in one swift movement, not breaking his malicious glare on the villain, "Two seconds," he throws the tie aside and slides his suspenders off his shoulders, "Before I blast you into oblivion," the top buttons of his shirt are undone.
"I-I'm so sorry I interrupted your date," the villain's eyes widen as he slides backwards into the broken table. "Y-You two must've been having a good time-"
"Damn RIGHT we were!" Bakugou bellows, sleeved already folded and he's pushing them up past his elbows away from his hands. "Now you're gonna DIE!"
As hot as it was watching my angry boyfriend slightly undress, I don't want him getting in trouble doing something illegal. I grasp his taut elbow, avoiding his forearm. "Katsuki, just leave this for the pros to deal with, don't get yourself in trouble."
He slowly calms his breathing, but still eyes the man with a murderous glint as we back away from the situation.
.
We silently eat our sandwiches on a park bench. Bakugou's gnawing and mashing his food to get his anger out, his tie hanging out of his pocket since he couldn't be bothered to re-tie it around his neck, or readjust his outfit.
I quietly admire his rugged appearance and let out a small chuckle.
He shoots me a look. "What're you laughing at?"
"I'm just thinking how much better you look when you're all undone like this," I remark, finishing the last of my own sandwich, "You looked too uptight before, this is way more casual."
My comment is met with a smirk and a huff as he uses one arm to pull me so close to him, I might as well be on his lap. "Is that your way of saying I look hot all angry like this?"
"Maybe." With that, I steal the last bite from his sandwich.
Bakugou sets the wrapper aside and hugs my waist with both hands, setting me properly in front of him so I can look him straight on. "I'm sorry I lost my cool like that. I promised I'd stay calm for you today, but nothing even went right all day and then that mess happened."
His ashamed expression makes me plant a quick kiss on his lips, allowing a light blush to appear in its place. "You're amazing, Katsuki. You've had such crappy luck all day and you managed to hold in your anger for most of it. But, while I appreciate the effort, you really didn't have to." I wrap my arms around his neck affectionately. "I love you and all your hotheaded screaming, you dope, no fancy dates or rules needed. Don't feel like you need to do more for me when I just need you."
A heart-melting smile spreads across Bakugou's face as he rests our foreheads together. "I don't deserve you, babe, you're the best I could ever ask for." Our lips join together in a sweet kiss for a moment.
I break it with a chuckle. "Honestly though, I really would've liked to see you smash that guy's face in."
"Me too!"

~~
When you woke back up, your head was pounding and you were on your side. As your vision came into focus, the first thing to hit you was how goddamn bright it was. Next was the crushed building to your left. Your head pounded even harder and you realized you must have been the person to cause the imprint in the building.
Kaminari was looming over you, his electric cage was covering both of you. You blinked up at him and he smiled down at you. “Glad you're awake,” He quietly spoke.
You groaned in response and slowly sat up. Chaos was around you and Bakugou worked hard to keep anyone from getting to you and Kaminari. He somehow looked even worse than before.
At that moment, a blast of fire came in your direction and Bakugou quickly hit Todoroki and stopped the fire just in time before it reached you and Kaminari. The heat warmed your body for a moment before the cold wind came crashing back, tickling your skin and giving you goosebumps.
You felt like a burden considering your teammates had to watch after you when they should be defeating the other teams. You looked around you to see how intense the situation was. Sato, Todoroki, and Ojirou were the only people you saw. In the distance, you saw Koda laying on the ground, presumably unconscious.
Where’s Hagakure? I thought she was with Ojirou. Maybe she found Ashido and Uraraka… I wonder where Ashido is anyways.
“Kaminari,” Your voice was hoarse and you coughed a couple of times because of how dry your mouth was. You paused and the electric boy looked back at you after watching Bakugou get a hit on Sato. “Don’t worry about me, just help Bakugou.”
Your voice was still weak and you really needed a glass of water, but there were more important things to deal with at that moment.
Kaminari was reluctant to drop his shield so you weakly grabbed his arm and used your quirk to reassure him.
“Stop that,” Kaminari spoke, pushing your hand off of him, “Just rest okay? I know you can handle yourself.”
You nodded as Kaminari stood up, effectively dropping his shield. He looked around and rushed towards Ojirou, his hands already twitching as electricity sparked from his fingers.
You watched the battle, the sounds of fighting, specifically the explosions, making your headache worse. Kaminari was shocking Ojirou and Sato with the disks attached to his wrists while Bakugou fought off Todoroki. You tore your attention away from the explosions to try and locate Ashido. Her thoughts were unclear and almost like static in your head, but you could hear enough.
Ashido was still fighting against Uraraka, and yes, Hagakure was with them. Ashido didn’t seem too tired which meant you couldn’t have been knocked out for more than a few minutes.
You slowly stood up from your spot on the ground, your head pounded as if begging you to sit back down. Honestly, you really wanted to curl up with some hot cocoa and watch TV, but you knew you couldn’t have everything you ever wanted. And so, you ignored the headache and watched the situation unfold, thinking about what you could do next.
Bakugou looked pretty beaten up, and it would be in your best interest to help him against Todoroki, but his ice and fire powers would be difficult to fight against. It was as if he only needed one second to come up with a plan and execute it, making it horribly difficult for you to dodge something so strong. Bakugou could escape his attacks or even take them head-on, but you were not fast enough or strong enough to break free of his ice walls.
You turned to Kaminari, who had done good damage against Sato and Ojirou. Both men needed to touch someone to damage them, and Sato was pretty slow, meaning Kaminari was able to get some decent hits on them.
In fact, Sato looked like he was slowing down drastically.
What is this kid’s quirk again? Something to do with strength?
Either way, you knew you could help Kaminari more than Bakugou so you ran towards him, making quick work of devising a plan. You ran towards the sluggish Sato, who saw you coming and got ready for a fight.
If you didn’t dodge and he hit you, it would hurt. Badly. However, if you dodged and grabbed any part of him, you knew you could put him to sleep easily. You ran faster and Sato aimed to punch you in the jaw. At the very last moment, you ducked, his punch instead hitting the air. From below, you grabbed his chin instead of punching it which was your usual move.
Unlike most people, Sato was already tired when you tried to make him sleep. The switch was already there, and within only a moment, you had him asleep. Although tired, you knew he would eventually wake up if you let go. You needed him to pass out but Kaminari and Bakugou were both busy, and you needed to do this yourself.
Still holding on to Sato by his shoulder, you started punching. His body panicked as you punched him, writhing in place. In fact, you lost your grip on his shoulder for a moment and he almost woke up, but you reassured him with your empath quirk while still punching.
The calm Sato was now bleeding from his nose, but he wasn’t quite there yet. Just a few more punches and then he would finally be passed out.
One. His heart rate sped up once more and his body tensed.
Two. You calmed him down and told him to just rest.
Three. He was finally passed out, his body no longer strong enough to fight against you to stay awake.
You sighed and let go on him, taking a few breaths to calm your headache. You took this moment to check back in on Ashido and--
Holy shit!
She had it! She had the flag and was heading back to base. Hagakure was trailing behind her, but Uraraka was defeated and had a horrible stomach ache preventing her from fighting against Ashido anymore.
Ashido was tired. Her body was slower than usual. And you knew Hagakure was planning something. You could run away from the current battle to help her. That would probably be the best choice, but in this condition, you were too slow to catch up to them. Bakugou would be the fastest, but you also needed him against Todoroki. That meant that the best choice would be Kaminari.
Would Kaminari be able to fight against Hagakure though? She must have taken off her clothes to go full invisible and that might just ruin Kaminari to know.
You tried to stand up, knowing it would be better if you chased after Ashido to stop Hagakure. However, you still needed to tell someone where you were going.
At that moment, Bakugou blasted up to the sky, avoiding a blow from Todoroki. He was now closer to you than he was to Shouto and so you ran towards him, albeit quite slow.
“Bakugou!”
The blond boy looked at you and worry rushed through his head at the sight of your slow body running towards him. You tried to prevent your cheeks from flushing pink at the idea of Bakugou caring for you, so you brushed it off with the idea that Bakugou needed you healthy to win. He quickly propelled himself towards you. His brows were furrowed with concern as his eyes wandered across your body to check your injuries.
“Stop worrying, I’m fine,” You mumbled as he inspected your head for any cuts. “If anything you are worse off than me.”
“Hardly,” He scoffed, “I can handle myself, you passed out at the first hit.” He pointed his finger towards you and you quickly pushed it out of your face.
“Shut up, I didn’t come here to bicker about who is worse off, I need to tell you something important,” You replied.
He looked at Todoroki, who was currently making his way towards you, “Hold on, I’ll get us somewhere safer.”
“What?”
Bakugou grabbed you by your waist before you could even process the plan in his head. God, I am way too fucking tired, you thought as the smell of smoke and caramel filled your senses. Bakugou used his other hand to blast you both up and onto a building. It was one of the tallest buildings and it would take Todoroki a moment to reach you at such heights.
Your face flushed at Bakugou’s muscular arm holding you. You couldn’t tell if you were hot because of your embarrassment or because of Bakugou’s explosions. Before you could figure it out, you and Bakugou landed safely on the building and he quickly let go of you. You felt much colder now.
“Okay, tell me,” Bakugou said, getting straight to business. Obviously not startled about holding you by your waist and carrying you to safety.
“Oh, um,” You stuttered, trying to refocus your attention on what was important and not on how goddamn attractive Bakugou looked. Has he ever carried anyone else to safety like that before? You shook the thoughts out of your head, knowing full well that Bakugou thought you were and bumbling idiot. “A-ashido got their flag,” You practically yelled, “but Hagakure is chasing after her and is still at full strength while Ashido is pretty tired. I need to get to them to help her. So, I’m leaving.”
Bakugou looked you up and down. You can’t catch them in time, you are too beat up, he thought.
“I know, but you need to be here against Todoroki and Kaminari can’t fight against a naked girl,” You replied.
I guess so, he thought. He took a moment to look down over the building and onto the battle. You took a few steps to follow his lead.
Sato and Koda were passed out on the ground and Ojirou and Todoroki were currently fighting against Kaminari, who was wondering where you and Bakugou went.
“He can handle himself, he hasn’t even used his strongest move yet,” Bakugou responded. “I have time to get you to wherever and back here to help him.”
“No, Bakugou, don’t worry about me--”
“I’m not worried about you. I want to win,” Bakugou interrupted. “So just shut up.” He wiped his right hand off on his pants before using said hand to grab you by the waist again. His hand swept around and happened to brush past your training uniform so Bakugou was touching your skin. The heat from his hand warmed your cold skin.
You knew he was nervous from not only his thoughts, but the emotions he held that rushed through you at the slightest touch. However, your brain was also rushing with wild thoughts and concerns. Your face was flush red and you looked down so Bakugou couldn’t see your bashful appearance.
Part of you was happy Bakugou was just as nervous as you. But then again, your heart was beating so fast. Bakugou pulled you against his chest. You could hear your heart beating much faster than his, which meant he could also hear your heart beating much faster.
How is he already calm, his heart is barely beating! And here I am, an absolute mess!
When Bakugou pushed off, pulling you out of your thoughts, you yelped. Bakugou ignored the noise and kept flying before stopping a few buildings over. “Where is that invisible brat?”
“That way,” You pointed towards the center where all sectors meet, ignoring the insult towards your friend. If you could even say she was your friend.
Bakugou blasted off again, grunting in response. Every now and then, he would land on top of a building and you would use your quirk to locate Hagakure. Soon enough, the distance was minimal. “Quiet down, we are approaching,” You said.
Bakugou looked down at you from on top of the short building. “I can’t be quiet, I have explosions that come out of my hands.”
“Okay, okay, whatever. Just hop over to that pointy building,” You responded.
Bakugou listened to you and blasted off towards the building. Once he landed on top, he looked at you for further directions.
You placed your finger on top of your mouth in a ‘shushing’ motion to tell Bakugou not to make noise. You pointed down and Bakugou followed your fingers to see Ashido sliding through the streets with the flag. He looked back up at you and you leaned into his ear. “Hagakure is right behind her, waiting till Ashido is back at the base so she can take both flags.”
Bakugou nodded in response. Do you want me to land you with Pinky?
You shook your head. “No, I wanna fight her on my own while Ashido gets back to base.”
Bakugou looked at you and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. I don’t think you are strong enough for that, idiot.
“Yeah, I am,” You pouted. “Don’t underestimate me Bakugou.”
“I’m not, you beat me before so I know you are strong. However, you are pale and cold. You lost blood and I am sure your head is still pounding,” He countered, crossing his arms in defiance.
You groaned at how well Bakugou knew you. Someone you only met a few days ago shouldn’t know you this well, and yet here he was, proving you wrong. “I can do it, okay? Just trust me a bit.”
He looked at you. Really looked at you. His crimson orbs stared into your soul and you had half a mind to wonder if maybe he was an Empath too. If only he knew that he was making you so goddamn nervous with just one look.
“Okay.”
“Huh?”
“Okay,” He responded. “I trust you. I’ll drop you off and you’ll kick her ass. Then I’ll kick Half-and-Half’s ass. Then Deku’s. Then we will win.”
“Ah,” You responded, “So ass is necessary when winning. What good priorities.”
“I didn’t say that you pervert!” Bakugou practically yelled.
You chuckled in response and Bakugou just groaned even harder.
“Shut up, you bastard,” Bakugou mumbled.
“Okay, okay!” Your laughter finally died down. “Just bring me to that building and let me down.”
Bakugou grumbled and tightened his grip on your waist--
Holy shit his hand was still on my waist.
--and blasted off effortlessly.
When you landed on the building, you scoured the ground to find Hagakure and Ashido a few paces ahead. You pointed at the opposite side of the street which was out of view for the other two girls and Bakugou easily landed you on the ground without drawing any attention to the both of you.
“Thanks,” You mumbled, pushing yourself out of his grasp and brushing invisible dirt off your clothes.
Bakugou merely nodded in response. Don’t fuck up.
“I won’t,” You retorted.
Bakugou smirked at you and your insides flipped.
When you first saw him fight in the sports festival, you thought he was cool and handsome. And now here you were, face to face with someone even more attractive than you perceived and even stronger than before. You couldn’t help but smile back at him as the pink hues in your face showed themselves again.
Bakugou turned around and quickly ran off towards the battle of ice and electricity that erupted in the distance. Bakugou pushed himself into the air using both his hands to move faster than he was when he carried you.
You turned back around to face the tall, cement buildings and concentrated on locating Ashido and Hagakure. Neither of them were too far away, and luckily they had no idea you were here.
You made quick work of quietly trekking over to Hagakure, trying to figure out how you could sneak up on the sneakiest person in your class.
Your head pounded as you once again tried to hone in on exactly where Hagakure was hiding. You were so tired and craved a nap, and yet you still needed to get the Blue Team’s flag and ensure Ashido’s safety. You were too scared to sigh and kept your shallow breaths to yourself as you followed behind Hagakure, waiting for the perfect time to attack.
The invisible girl was currently focused on Ashido who just slid out of view with the green flag in hand. The pink girl had no idea Hagakure was behind her, and thought she was completely in the clear. You closed in on Hagakure, ready to punch the air you hoped she was standing. Toru was focused on Mina and didn’t hear you approaching. Although you weren’t sure exactly where she was, you just needed to touch her in order to ensure Ashido’s safety.
You reached out in front of you and grabbed onto whatever you could, not quite sure what it was. The invisible girl gasped and rotated out of your grasp.
“Y/N,” Hagakure squealed, “You found me!”
You smiled at your friend but took her surprised state as a chance to attack. You clenched your hand into a fist and punched eye level to yourself, hoping you hit her in the nose.
The girl groaned, proving your assumption was right. You heard her take a few steps back so you pushed forward and grabbed at her, trying your best to make the girl sleep. Unfortunately, you didn’t grab anything and Hagakure regained her stance by the time you realized.
“Warp Refraction: Say Cheese!”
A burst of light shot through the sky and reflected off of Hagakure, effectively blinding you. “Aw, fuck!” You stepped back and closed your eyes because of the brightness.Your head pounded and you knew Hagakure was planning on punching you, but the sharp light prevented you from moving.
A sharp pain shot through your stomach and you suddenly felt like vomiting.
You groaned and shot down to your knees.
Focus! You told yourself. You needed to ignore the light and just use your quirk to create a picture of the scene in your head.
I got her now, Hagakure thought. I’ll kick her and then-
As her shin raced towards your right side, you blocked her hit with your forearm and used your other hand to reach up to grab her arm. You pulled the invisible girl towards the ground. “Sleep!” You shouted, more for yourself than for her. You worried you wouldn’t be strong enough to actually make Hagakure fall asleep. However, the lightswitch appeared in the cavern of her mind and you flipped the switch as if it was your last dying action.
You breathed over the sleeping girl and debated your next actions. You should punch her till she passed out, but wondered if you could bring yourself to hurt your friend. You were way too tired to push her into a sleep that would last long enough to secure Ashido’s safety.
You decided to drag Hagakure into the nearest building. You knew you needed to make her pass out, there was no point in forcing her into a sleep she would just wake up from. You sighed before pulling back your fist. Although you couldn’t see Toru, you still punched the girl, using your opposite hand to get a reading on her emotions. In the body, you could tell when someone is passed out and when that moment came, you finally stopped and sat down for just a moment.
You needed to stand up. You couldn’t stop.
Maybe you just weren’t cut out for this class. Maybe you needed to be put into a lower class level. Your old school never did exercise this intense. You ignored the depressing thoughts and told yourself to just finish this battle. Finish this battle and then you can figure out whether or not you deserve to be here.
You pushed yourself off the ground when a groan. Your stomach didn’t hurt from the punch anymore, but your knees were definitely bruised and your head still pounded with every use of your quirk.
Speaking of which, you left the building and faced where you saw Ashido disappear from minutes ago. You used to quirk to locate her and noticed how far away she was. Although tired, you didn’t put much thought into your actions and started running after the pink girl. You knew she was much faster than you when it came to travel distance, but part of your skills was the speed to avoid moves and you hoped that would pay off today.
Ashido was close to crossing the boundary, close to safety, proving that she was much faster than you, making it difficult to catch up to her. You knew she would stop eventually though, she didn’t remember where the base was set up. When Ashido crossed over the tape into the orange sector, she paused for a moment, debating which way to go. During that time, you were able to catch up just enough that you could call out to her. No one was near, so you didn’t have to worry about anyone overhearing.
“Ashido-kun!” You called out to your friend as you watched her turn the corner down an alleyway.
Within a moment, her head popped back around the corner, and she smiled brightly at you. “Y/L/N-kun!” She used her quirk to slide across the concrete road towards you. “It’s so great to see a teammate!” She stopped in front of you and waved the flag like a child who won a toy. “Look what I got!”
You smiled in response. “Good job!”
Ashido’s smile widened. You didn’t have to touch her to realize how excited she was to see you and to be helping the team so greatly. “Can you help me find the team? And you can tell me how everyone is doing on the way.”
“Yeah, just follow me,” You responded, before heading towards your team.
You were able to use your quirk to see that Kirishima and the others were still located in the corner they originally stationed themselves in.
After making a path in your mind on how to reach your team, you started telling Ashido how the battle was going on your side. “So, I know for sure that I and Kaminari knocked out Tsu. While we fought her, the other teams found Bakugou and teamed up against him. We caught up with them. By the time I left, Sato and Koda were unconscious leaving Todoroki and Ojirou to fight against Kaminari and Bakugou.”
You took a moment to check back in on Kirishima’s location as Ashido listened tentatively to your story. “I think that they can beat Ojirou, but Todoroki is difficult. If Bakugou and Kaminari get so caught up on fighting against Todoroki, we won’t be able to go to the blue sector and get their flag.”
“Yeah, I’m sure everyone is going to come after us now,” Ashido added.
“I wonder if the Green Team is still fighting the Blue Team,” You mumbled.
“Can you check?” Ashido asked.
“Yeah,” You sighed, “But my head really hurts from using it so much, so I don’t think I should. It’s probably more important that I rest up.”
Ashido hummed in response, not asking you any more questions.
After another minute of walking, you finally came into view of your team. You were able to see Kirishima’s prominent red hair shining in the sun. Around him was tape attached from wall to wall, as if blockading them in, no one was small enough to reach through the small gaps left. However, you knew multiple people in the class you could blast through or even sacrifice themselves to create an opening for others. Kirishima turned around when Ashido yelled out his name.
“Hey!” He smiled at you both, excited you captured their flag. He turned to look at something you couldn’t see. “Sero! Take some tape down so Ashido-kun and Y/L/N-kun can get in!”
Sero walked into view and casually waved at the two of you before using the sharp edge at the end of his helmet to cut some tape. He gave you and Ashido just enough room to get into the area before he taped it back up.
“How is everything?” Sero asked as Kirishima and Aoyama put the flag next to the orange one.
“Okay,” You mumbled. “We were able to knock a few people from the other teams out but,” You paused for a moment to hone in on Bakugou’s thoughts, “Bakugou and Kaminari are fighting Todoroki. I know Bakugou is pretty beat up, but Kaminari is in good shape.”
“Are they in the Blue sector?” Aoyama asked.
“Um, no. Still in the green sector.” You took in a deep breath and concentrated on the Blue sector. “The Green and Blue team are still fighting over the flag. It’s Midoriya, Iida, and Tokoyami against Momo, Jirou, Shoji, and Mineta. Although I’m pretty sure Mineta has passed out, I can’t find his thoughts and that usually means he’s asleep.”
Kirishima hummed in response, his hand found its way to his chin as he processed everything happening, debating what to do next.
In your own mind, you debated the only option that seemed best for you. I people went to Bakugou’s aide and distracted Todoroki, then he could get away and go fight in the Blue Sector. Or maybe Kirishima and Ashido should just go fight the Blue team and leave Bakugou and Kaminari to finish off Todoroki.
Although it wasn’t very responsible to leave so few people monitoring the flags when your team has two and will be the obvious targets.
Everyone stayed silent, debating their own ideas in their head, most of which were difficult to pull off.
“So,” Ashido started, taking a seat on the ground and leaning her back against a nearby building, “What now?”
The group looked around at each other, wondering who was going to talk first. Personally, you knew you should go find them, but you were so tired and knew there was very little you could go against the people you were fighting. Just imagining Iida coming at you, unable to use your quirk to help your team, sent shivers down your spine. You stayed silent, praying someone else would speak up with another idea.
“I suppose we need to get in contact with Bakugou and Kaminari. We don’t know if they are going to come back here or go to the Blue side,” Sero spoke.
Guess not.
“That’s true,” Aoyama added, “but the best person to find them would be Y/L/N-kun and she is obviously tired.”
Thank God.
“I’ll take her,” Sero replied. “She can guide me and with my tape, I can probably get there in just a few minutes. Then, we can distract or maybe even beat Todoroki and get everyone back here.”
Kirishima stepped into the circle forming around you and Ashido. “With everyone here, we can wait and see who gets here first. For example, if Midoriya gets here, obviously Bakugou would want to stay and other people will go get the other flag.
“That may actually work,” Ashido added, grinning widely.
The team made quick work of getting everyone ready. Currently, you were waiting outside the tape barricade for Sero to apply the finishing touches to his defenses. Once done, waved goodbye and came up to you, smiling brightly.
“Okay,” He started. “So just tell me which way to go and I can use my quirk to fling us from building to building.”
You nodded and Sero tentatively grabbed onto your waist. You knew he needed to do that to help you travel and you weren’t at all thrown off when he did so. However, his body was comparatively much colder than Bakugou’s and the tape dispense in his elbow jammed at you back.
This would not be a comfortable ride.
Sero launched both of you into the sky, moving quickly. All that could be heard was the fast wind piercing your ears and the directions you have to the brunette.
Soon enough, the directions were unnecessary because the eruptions of Bakugou’s quirk were big enough to see. Sero decided it would be best for you to arrive by making a big entrance. You both swooped in just as Bakugou was preparing a move. Sero sped up and kicked Todoroki straight in the head before having you both land on the ground. You almost lost your balance, but his hand around your waist stayed and helped you keep yourself up. You looked up at him and he winked.
“What the fuck was that?!”
You looked up to see Bakugou, who was fuming in his eyes. His condition was similar to how you left him, just with a few more burn marks.
The blond stomped his way to you and Sero. “I was just about to hit him!”
“It sure didn’t look like it,” Sero laughed. “It looked like he was about to pummel you.”
“What the fuck do you know, tape-for-brains?” Bakugou yelled.
Sero just chuckled in response so Bakugou looked down at you instead.
Sometimes, it really was nice to hear people’s thoughts. For example, right now, thoughts of jealousy rushed through Bakugou’s head. He was slightly annoyed that Sero ruined his attack, but he was more so jealous that Sero got to touch you the same way he did.
The anger in his eyes was replaced with confusion as he looked at you. He almost looked like a puppy, or maybe a kitten, begging you to tell him that it meant nothing.
You looked down at the ground, wondering if Bakugou remembered that you could hear his thoughts. Now was not the time to address Bakugou’s subconscious, jealous feelings. On top of that, you were sure your face was redder than it had been
“Hey, guys!’ Kaminari smiled, cutting through the awkward air. “Come to save us?”
“I don’t need saving, Pikachu!” Bakugou yelled in response.
“Calm down, sheesh,” Kaminari stuck his hands up as if the cops were holding guns to him.
“Whatever, let’s just go finish Todoroki already,” Bakugou mumbled, turning away from the group to look at the heterochromatic boy in question.
He was worse off than Bakugou was, it was difficult for his body to hold a proper temperature and after a fight this long, it was really taking a toll on him.
I can’t believe this intense fucking game of capture the flag is considered a regular day of school here… you thought. Suddenly, Bakugou grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the enemy.
I’ll hit him and you make him sleep, was all you heard before the tired Todoroki enveloped your feet in ice.
“Fuck!”
You looked behind you to see Kaminari caught in the same trap. Sero, however, was able to use his tape to pull himself out.
Bakugou squeezed onto your hand even tighter and used his opposite hand to explode him and then yourself out of the ice.
Sero came in once again and managed to get a hit on Todoroki. Bakugou followed up with exploding into the competitor’s face while he was busy with Sero.
You, remembering what Bakugou had thought earlier, rushed up to Todoroki and grabbed his wrist while he prepared to burn Bakugou.
Todoroki’s flames stopped and he looked over at you with wide eyes. You were still trying to calm him down to make the switch appear, but Todoroki was fast to act and recover from your actions.
You weren’t able to hear his thoughts as you focused so heavily on his emotions. His emotions were slowly changing to become more calm. However, a burst of red shot through your vision as opposed to the relaxed and determined purples and greens that reflected in his mind.
Ice shot through Todoroki’s left side, which you happened to be holding onto, and you felt your hand freeze, the cold shooting throughout your body. Instinctually, you tried to pull your arm back, worried the ice might harm your skin. However, seeing as you were now frozen to him, you are unable to move your hand away.
Fuck! It’s so cold!
Goosebumps arose on your skin and shivers when down your spine. The ice continued to crawl up your skin. You knew Todoroki was trying to prevent you from making him fall asleep without hurting you very much.
Todoroki rapidly moved so he had better leverage over your body. He placed one knee on the ground and held his left arm over his shoulder. He was then able to lean forward and pull you over his body and slam your body onto the hard concrete.
You were still attached to Todoroki and although waves of pain shot throughout your back, you knew you had to keep working. You focused back in on Todoroki’s emotions and worked even faster to calm him down. The red and orange hues of battle and anger morphed into blues and purples. He was fighting against your actions but was unable to fight back anymore.
The light switch appeared, although far away from your reach. You pushed Todoroki farther into your relaxing trap, his breathing shallowed and his heartbeat slowed. Finally, you were in reach of your goals.
“Sleep,” You whispered, and his eyes closed.
Slowly, you sat up from your position on the ground. Your hand was still frozen, your head still pounded, and now you had back pains you were sure would last weeks. You looked up at the three boys around you, Kaminari and Sero stared at you with shock and worry. They were wondering if you were okay or if they should take you out of the game now.
On the other hand, once Bakugou noticed you were able to make Todoroki fall asleep, he stormed up to you and put his hand on the ice where your hand was grabbing Todoroki’s wrist. “This is going to hurt a bit, just stay still okay?”
You nodded in response and Bakugou used small explosions to heat up the ice. You felt the heat and explosions against your skin, but they didn’t hurt much and Bakugou was being safe enough to stop just before all the ice would have melted. He moved farther up your arm and used the same method to melt the ice that crawled up your skin.
Bakugou looked at you when most of the ice was finally melted away. He motioned his head to tell you that you could break away by yourself.
“I can’t, he’ll wake up,” You responded.
Bakugou looked at you, to your hand, and then to Todoroki’s sleeping body. “Hey, idiots!” Bakugou called over his other teammates who were still just watching the situation unfold. “Tie him up and then shock him to make him pass out.”
After recovering from the shock of being taken out of his trance, Sero quickly wrapped up Todoroki’s body, being careful not to get you tied into the tape. Once done, you broke your hand free of the icy grip and Kaminari electrocuted Todoroki much like he did with Tsu. Both boys then moved Todoroki into one of the buildings.
While they moved Todoroki, you awkwardly stood off to the side. With the battle no longer distracting you, your mind was free to roam and right now, all you could think about was the jealous thoughts that ran through Bakugou’s head when you and Sero first arrived. Not only that, but Bakugou had grabbed your hand earlier, giving you skin to skin contact once more. You wondered if he was always so warm because of his quirk, or if maybe his body was hot because he was just as nervous as you.
“So,” You looked up from the ground to see that Bakugou moved to be standing next to you, “What now?” He only spared a moment to look at you before noticing you were looking at him. Abruptly, he turned his focus back onto your two teammates.
“Um,” You bit your lip, taking a moment to push your previous thoughts out of your head in order to focus on the situation at hand. “We are going back to home base.”
“Why? Shouldn’t we go get the Blue flag?” Bakugou asked. He was much calmer now than he was when talking to Kaminari and Sero. You made a mental note to try and figure out why later.
“We wanted to head back to make sure we have appropriate reinforcements. Like, if you run off to the Blue sector and then Midoriya comes here, the plan is kinda ruined,” You responded.
Bakugou thought over your explanation for a second before agreeing with a hum. After a brief and awkward pause, Bakugou spoke again, “Do you know where everyone else is right now?”
“I can try checking,” You replied, “but I am a bit tired and don’t know how great my range will be.” You took in a deep breath, something that wasn’t necessary, but was a habit for you when using your quirk on bigger scales.
Just before you delved yourself into the world of thoughts, Bakugou stopped you. “Don’t waste your energy then, we will be fine without knowing.”
You nodded, too shocked to verbally reply. Bakugou did not at all seem like the type of person to care about the individual over the group outcome. Because of this, it especially shocked you. Speaking of which…
“Bakugou,” You started, “Are you okay? Is there anywhere you are really hurt?” You asked him, eyes darting around his body and examining the burns, bruises, and blood that littered his pale, golden skin.
“Don’t worry about me,” He mumbled, turning his body away from you and crossing his arms.
He was offended you asked him. Annoyed you didn’t think he was strong enough. Even though you once again could not feel his skin and experience his emotions at hand, it was obvious from his thoughts that he was upset.
It upset you slightly that he forced you to let him take care of you for the team, but refused to let you do the same. How someone’s thoughts could change so easily in only an hour was ridiculous.
As someone who could hear thoughts and experience others' emotions, it was more common for people to think that you would be best as a rescue hero or a healing hero. When younger, you were trained in first-aid and how to utilize your quirk to help those around you. The idea of helping Bakugou tempted you. However, you knew it best to leave him alone.
For both of you.
You swallowed down your worries for that moment, promising yourself that it was okay to deny your ever-growing crush on Bakugou.
Kaminari and Sero exited the building smiling as if their energy from defeating Todoroki revitalized them.
“Are you ready to head back?” Sero asked as he and Kaminari approached you and Bakugou.
You looked towards Bakugou, still able to tell he was mildly upset about your comment earlier. “Yeah,” His hoarse voice responded.
Kaminari then looked towards you, “Y/L/N-chan, who would you like to go with, Sero or Bakugou?”
Your brain immediately debated between the two boys. On one hand, Bakugou got jealous when I rode with Sero, but now he seems a little upset at me. Maybe he wouldn’t want to ride with me because of tha--
“She’s going with me,” Bakugou interrupted. Everyone looked at Bakugou.
Or not.
You bit your bottom lip and furrowed your eyebrows out of stress, noticing the jealous thoughts that once again ran through Bakugou’s head.
You weren’t an idiot. You knew what it means to be possessive over someone, but you met Bakugou only a few days ago and things didn’t even start off well. On top of that, Bakugou seemed almost oblivious to his possessiveness, making his intentions even more confusing.
Bakugou squinted his eyes at your reaction to his comment before looking back at the two other teammates. “You guys know the way back. Me and him,” Bakugou gestured towards Kaminari, “don’t. So, we have to split up.”
The answer seemed to satisfy Kaminari and Sero who made quick work of positioning themselves in the least romantic way they could. Currently, Kaminari and Sero were connected by a tape belt that kept them within 2 meters of each other. When Sero set off towards camp, Kaminari held onto the tape, basically dangling under Sero as he moved.
“Ready?” You heard Bakugou mumble, moving your attention elsewhere.
You looked up at Bakugou and found yourself biting your lip again, wondering what Bakugou’s thoughts meant. It was as easy as A + B = C because Bakugou sure didn’t realize what his thoughts meant. He was, however, great at hiding them to others.
“Yeah,” You looked down at your feet, his crimson eyes stared into yours and made the atmosphere fill with awkwardness.
“Don’t look at me like that,” Bakugou mumbled as his hand found its way around your waist, “Baka.” (usually playful way to call someone dumb).
You looked up at Bakugou once more as his hand touched the skin of your waist. His emotions rushed through you, but you were more focused on the smirk on Bakugou’s face and the glint in his eyes. Before you could respond, Bakugou launched both of you in the same direction Sero went.

It Gets Bad Before It Gets Worse
A/N: Right so... hello. Been a while since I last posted anything. But! Anyways! This is my little take on Deku joins the League of Villains and how that works out for him. This is only just the USJ incident, and that to not the whole thing, but that’s because I’ve still got to write the last bit (where All Might fights the Nomu) and I really wanted to post this now so... yeah.
I copied this from my word document, but tumblr just- ate up my italicised words? Like they’re still there, but nothing’s italisiced except for this author’s note that I’m typing straight out here on tumblr. I really don’t have the patience to go through this and re-work everything, so I hope it doesn’t mess with the flow of words too much.
But besides that, I hope you enjoy!
Edit: I fixed stuff.
-
"Kurogiri."
Shota sends out tendrils of his capture scarves and grabs onto two villains, swinging feet first through the space between them and right into a third. By all means, his attention is mostly on the b-lister villains surrounding him, but he's been careful not to let the three bosses out of sight. They haven't tried anything yet, which just mean that they're going to be more trouble later on.
"Take the brat up with you, won't you?" The man with the hands scratches at his neck, a contemplative tilt in his voice as he keeps Shota in his sights just as much as Shota keeps handsy in his.
There's warning lilt in mist-man's tone when he speaks, who Shota silently renames as Kurogiri for when he has to recount this incident for the police reports, hopefully with the villains locked up somewhere near. "Shigaraki..."
"Don't give me that tone!" The hands villain- Shigaraki- snaps, "You're not the leader of this operation. I am."
Kurogiri lets out a weary sigh just as Shota is forced to twist around to dodge a swipe of metal claws meant to dig into his torso, and regrets it immediately when he hears, "As you wish, Shigaraki."
When Shota turns back around, the Kurogiri is gone.
-
After the shock of, 'holy shit, this is really real' has passed, Class 1-A follows after Thirteen as they all run towards the entrance. They never quite make it there, when purple mist flickers into existence just ahead of them and starts to expands, bigger and bigger until it's like a swirly purple wall towering over them. That's not the last of it though, when Class 1-A watches a teenager who looks about their age step out from the mist.
"Is it time then?"
This is said to the owner of two yellow eyes that blink open in the mist, and voice that seems to come from nowhere and everywhere at the same time. "There was a change of plans. Shigaraki... wished to have you called in early."
It's the last bit that has all eyes watching the boy, as he in turn watches Kurogiri from over his shoulder. "What is that supposed to mean?"
"Deku?"
The boy slowly turns to meet a violent red gaze, and Class 1-A hold their breaths.
For one Izuku Midoriya, it’s like the world slowly halts to a standstill. Suddenly, nothing matters much anymore, not the fact that this is the first attack he's been allowed to participate in, and that too only to watch. Not that he was nervous why Shigaraki wanted him 'called in early'. Not that he was finally supposed to get his irrefutable proof that he hadn't lied to Sensei about All Might's weakness, that he had been loyal. No, none of that matters because Izuku doesn’t even look at the crowd of hero students, just the figure right at the front, with sparking hands that's more flash than boom, for now, and an expression that seems almost surprised to see him.
Izuku looks at Bakugou in fascinated horror, "Kacchan?"
This wasn't- this wasn't how this was supposed to go. Izuku was supposed to pop in and take notes, not come face to face with his childhood bully after almost a year.
Predictably, like it always happened when Kacchan was caught off guard, his expression twists from one of surprise to anger, like how dare Izuku try to pull a fast one on him. If only someone would tell Kacchan that Izuku is just as surprised to see him as Kacchan is to see Izuku, but good luck getting him to believe you.
"What the fuck are you doing here?"
"I-" There's that same adrenaline, pumping through using veins, the kind he always got when Kacchan had him by the front of his shirt and was screaming right in his face. But unlike before, where when the anger would come (‘What did I ever do to you?!’) and Izuku would push it down, he doesn't this time.
He hasn't in a long time pushed the anger down.
His eyes narrow and its hard, harder than anything Izuku's ever done, to keep his composure. His voice still trembles, threatening to betray the red-hot fury he feels curling in his gut, but he just about manages to keep that poisonous feeling contained in his hands, in his erratic breathing, but never seeping into his voice, onto his face, into his actions. "I could ask you the same thing Kacchan."
Kacchan goes to speak, give it back to him twice as hard because he never listens, does he? When Kurogiri draws a close to this verbal match of spitting bullets with a polite. "Sorry to interrupt, but me and comrades would appreciate it if you take this seriously."
Kurogiri has the kind of influence that is quiet but intense, which means people listen when he talks. Not only that, everyone realizes that he's clearly the bigger threat between being the warper and the dude who looks like literal middle schooler blocking their paths. Izuku knows rationally that this class of hero hopefuls' best bet right now would be to try and get past him and Kurogiri and to go call for help, but Izuku has enough faith in Kurogiri to handle that. Not that he can do much else, or think much else, because of the anger that just keeps building and building the longer he stands here with Kacchan's red hot glare pinned right on him, greater threat be damned. It should feel gratifying, that he's finally gotten Kacchan to look at him, not just as another thing in his way but a person, but maybe he hasn't. Maybe it had meant nothing at all to Kacchan, when Izuku Midoriya had disappeared off of the face of the Earth about ten months ago, taking nothing but the words of an angry bully with him.
Yeah, that fits the bill, doesn't it? Izuku may have known Kacchan for over 14 fucking years, but he's only ever been just another thing in Kacchan's way to step over on his way to glory. As if Kacchan noticed he was ever gone.
The only time Izuku ever gets to have Kacchan look at him again, acknowledge him again, and Izuku is just another obstacle in his way. Just like it's always been.
"We don't mean to be rude by intruding, but my comrades and I have taken the liberty of paying your school a visit in hopes of putting an end to All Might and his legacy. It seems, however, that he is not currently present."
Izuku can practically see the hypothetical steam of anger coming from Kacchan with his mouth twisted into a fearsome scowl. The boy beside him, with bright red hair that stands straight up as if cut from the face of a rock, mashes his fists together and shouts back, "What makes you think we'll just let you?"
Kurogiri only narrows his eyes, "We were not expecting you to. You are a class of foolish hero hopefuls, after all."
Izuku just about manages to tear his gaze away from Kacchan when Thirteen lifts a finger, and Izuku realizes what's about to come next. Just before he can warn Kurogiri, however, his attention snags on something else. Like Kacchan can't stand attention not being on him for even a second, him and the boy with the tall red hair have launched themselves forward, straight towards Kurogiri, though Izuku barely manages to scramble out of the way when Kacchan points one hand straight in his direction and uses the explosion to boost himself further, uncaring if Izuku gets caught in it. Probably hoping it hit him, actually.
They both manage to get what they think is a hit in and jump back, and the red head shouts, "We're not going to just let you waltz into our school to hurt All Might!"
When Kurogiri clicks his tongue, unhurt because it’d take more than that pathetic display of ego to even bother him, Izuku immediate knows that he's annoyed, but it's especially evident in his flat tone of voice when he speaks. "Very well. If we are clear on our roles." Purple mist sweeps out and covers everybody in a thick cloud. Izuku knows better than to resist it, only hoping that Kurogiri's kind enough not to drop him from somewhere high.
-
Izuku stumbles when he immerges from the portal, and it's all he can do not to trip and fall face first on the ground. Sensibly, Kurogiri hasn't come with him, probably still handling the handful of people left up at the entrance, because Izuku really still feels like he's going to explode at someone. Logically, he knows that it probably isn't Kurogiri's fault, that the poor man is just following orders and not much else. He may have more sense than one Tomura-fucking-Shigaraki, but that doesn't mean he's the one Sensei favors most.
Of course, speaking of the devil...
"Why did you send me up there?" Each word is bitten off and chewed before being spit out like poison. Izuku wished he could grab Tomura smug fucking face and break it over his knee.
Shigaraki’s smirk is the asshole-ish kind Izuku wished he could kick in, "What? Didn't like the surprise, brat?"
Oh ho ho, it's a very close thing Izuku doesn't just start screaming at this point. He's so angry, "That was not part of the plan."
Shigaraki scoffs, "I'm in charge, I can change the fucking plan."
If Izuku was keeping his cool before, he certainly isn't now, "You can't change it whenever you feel like it Shigaraki!"
Izuku is suddenly grabbed by the throat, and there's a terrifying moment where he wonders if this is it, this is how he dies. At the hands of who's supposed to be a comrade, with no thanks given for the certainly valuable information he'd brought to the League. He'd thought it be enough to get them to trust him, because really, what else did a quirkless loser like him have to offer? But it wasn't nearly enough, not by word of mouth alone that All Might was slowly dying of a grievous old injury that Sensei himself had given him. After all, what argument Izuku have to justify just why All Might would give that information to some random middle schooler he once saved?
But while Tomura looked like he would gladly put down his raised pinkie against Izuku's throat to complete his set of five, he doesn't yet. "Don't talk back to me like you've got any authority, brat."
Izuku's breathing has slowed to a halt, painfully aware of the fingers around his neck and the one finger that isn't, could so easily be put down and turn him to dust. But, even then, with nothing much left to lose except a mother who will now know for sure her child is dead instead of just missing, Izuku meets a single red eye peeking out from under a severed hand with his own determined green ones. Shigaraki doesn't scare him, and even if he does, like hell Izuku will give him the satisfaction of seeing the proof of it on his face.
"Are you just going stand there boss? We're not doing quite so well here." This comes from a woman who's desperately trying to keep an eye on the pro hero culling their ranks with extreme prejudice while calling back for help. But Izuku knows Shigaraki, full on expects the scoff that comes from him as he doesn't move a single fucking finger to help his 'party'. He just watches, with that hungry red gaze of his, as if all he wants is to hold the world in his hands and watch it crumble, cannot fathom why this vision of his has not yet come to fruition. As if the world should come to serve him, and only put up just enough of a challenge to make it 'fun' for him. Izuku manages to turn his head, neck still under Shigaraki's hands but as if this is the first time he's pushed the man hard enough to come close to death by decay, and watches as not a moment later Eraserhead swiftly takes out the woman who had dared to call out for help.
Shigaraki clicks his tongue, and spares a glance at Izuku, "You were told to watch, weren't you? Then watch how a real villain does it."
He pushes Izuku back roughly, leaving him to stand there with a hand rising to carefully press against his throat with the threat to it finally gone, as Shigaraki takes off straight for the pro hero standing ready for him, thinking he's prepared for someone as bat-shit insane as Shigaraki Tomura. From what little Izuku has seen, Eraser's doing pretty well so far, especially for an underground hero who specializes in stealth and springing surprise attacks onto villains from the cover of the shadows. He'd almost think that this was where Eraserhead thrives, except he knows better, can see it in the desperate way the man moves that this is far from his kind of game. No, as heroes do still surprise Izuku from time to time, Eraserhead’s probably down here trying to buy time for the students to get away, which they probably won't, not if Kurogiri's got anything to say about it.
Shigaraki grabs onto the first tendril of Eraser's scarf sent his way, and Eraser sends another only to duck under it as he manages to elbow Shigaraki right in the stomach. It's when this happens, that a flash of green against the plain brown terrain and a muffled croak catch his attention. Izuku looks to where the sound came from and sees round green eyes poking up from the edge of the raised platform, and feels his own eyes widen first in surprise, but then in panic.
Oh no.
He wonders if the girl crouched at the edge of this fight is alone, only to catch sight of something round and purple just behind her. What are these kids doing? Don't they know it's dangerous to just stand there like that, begging to get noticed by the manic villain willing to fell anyone and anything just because he finds them annoying? Don't they care that they're teacher is trying to give them a chance to get away, and they're squandering it by crouching at the edge of this fight?
The girl's gaze catches his and her own eyes widen. Probably because he's a villain too and he's obviously seen them. He looks back at Shigaraki just in time for the villain to say, "You're getting slower Eraserhead. It's hard to tell with those goggles of yours, but I've figured out your tell." He glances back at Izuku, and Izuku manages to wrangle his expression into something carefully blank. Shigaraki continues, having made sure that Izuku's watching, "Your hair falls back down in the intervals when you stop using you quirk." Izuku let's out heavy breath, because he knows Shigaraki is right, he'd noticed that too. And its then that Eraserhead's hair falls back over his face, while Shigaraki still has his elbow in a five-finger grip, and oh- Izuku knows what comes next. He tries to catch the girl's gaze again, but she's watching in horror as first his sleeve and then Eraserhead's skin starts to crumble away at the elbow. The hero jumps away, but Shigaraki's point has definitely been made.
A few of the low lifes that they most definitely picked from the streets for the sole purpose of playing cannon fodder surround Eraser again as Shigaraki carefully backs away. Eraserhead doesn't notice Shigaraki make a subtle gesture at the Nomu that has the tall beast finally move from somewhere behind him. For how big it is, the Nomu can be pretty sneaky when it wants to be, because Eraserhead doesn't notice it take position a few feet behind him as he handles the few of the street thugs still left standing.
Shigaraki has a smile in his voice, which Izuku can only tell because he sounds real fucking smug when he says, "If you think I'm the final boss Eraser, you're sorely mistaken."
And really, Izuku should have seen this coming, but he doesn't, and flinches back when Eraser turns back just a second too late, because it doesn't matter anyways when the Nomu is built to match All Might's speed. The Nomu puts the hero to the ground faster than Izuku can blink, the arm with the decayed elbow in gripped tightly with one of hand and his other holding Eraserhead’s head down. Izuku wonders how the girl and the other person with her are taking this, and if they regret sticking around for this final act, but he can't take his eyes off this scene without the fear of missing something important. It feels... wrong. Putting down a hero like Eraserhead, who only ever jumped into this fight to make sure his students had a chance, who's a great fucking hero anyways. The part of Izuku that will always be a fanboy seethes that this his own fault, that if he can't deal with the consequences then he shouldn't have made the choice to be here in the first place, but it's never that simple, not really. So Izuku watches, some part of him begging him to step forward and maybe try to reason with Shigaraki about sparing Eraserhead, but the more sensible part of him knows it's pointless. Shigaraki only ever does what he wants to, and there's a huge chance that if Izuku tries to tell him not to do something, he'll only ending up doing it just to spite him.
The Nomu slams Eraserhead's face into the concrete and Izuku let's out a shaky sigh, a sick feeling starting to churn in his stomach at the pool of blood that slowly inched outwards from where Eraser's head hit the ground. He glances back over to where the girl is and sees her staring at the scene with wide eyes, two hands clasped over her mouth in horror.
There's a flicker of something purple somewhere behind Shigaraki, which grows outwards in the air like how moss spreads over a stone wall, until Kurogiri stands there in a cloud of purplish smoke and intones, "Shigaraki Tomura."
Shigaraki slightly tilts his head to show that he's listening.
Kurogiri sounds almost apologetic, which is rare enough that Izuku's temporarily distracted from keeping an eye on the girl and the person with her that he's only caught a brief glimpse of until now. "I'm afraid that I let one student slip past. I believe he has most likely gone to get help."
Shigaraki's hands suddenly jerk up until the fingers dig into the sides of his neck, and Izuku can't help but make a face as he starts scratching them with slowly growing intensity. It's a habit of his that Kurogiri has been trying to get him to break, but has been unsuccessful so far.
"Kurogiri..." Shigaraki's voice is dark with malintent, "If you weren't the warp gate I would kill you."
Kurogiri shows no outward reaction to the threat, except the shifting of his features like a turbulent sea of purple. It makes it hard to get a read on him, without facial expression to use as a gauge of his mood, but Izuku likes to think he's gotten to know Kurogiri well enough to think he might just be the slightest bit amused right about now. None the less, familiar with the sentiment of Shigaraki being upset with him for one thing or another, Kurogiri ignores the murderous gleam in Shigaraki's eye and simply continues, "The other pro heroes will most likely be arriving soon, and we are not equipped to handle them with our... dwindling numbers. It is best if we take our leave."
Shigaraki lets out a low growl, his eyes pinballing wildly between the Nomu, Eraserhead and Izuku. "Game over, huh? Fine, we'll wrap up."
And Izuku doesn't even get a chance to relax at the prospect of Shigaraki finally being sensible for once and retreating at a fortunate time, because there's a mean look in his eye as his gaze lands on Izuku, then past him. Right over to where...
The girl.
"But I think we should leave behind a message for All Might first."
In the blink of an eye, Shigaraki has sprinted half the distant to the girl who just stands there, frozen in shock. That's when a harried cry rips from Izuku's throat as he goes stumbling after Shigaraki, "No!"
But it's too late, because Shigaraki already has his fingers splayed over the girl's face, and it never gets easier. That heart wrenching terror of the just before, a nanosecond where after Shigaraki's quirk kicks in and turns everything to dust.
Except that this time, it doesn’t kick in.
Izuku, frozen stiff and expecting a dead young girl with her head turned to dust in the air, but instead meeting eyes blown wide in terror but still very much alive, watches Shigaraki turn slowly to look behind him. His gaze stalls on Izuku just for a second but a second is enough to tell Izuku that his little outburst has not gone unnoticed, before passing over him over to where Eraserhead's face is lifted off the ground. It's nothing short of a miracle, how he's managed to look up even with the Nomu's death grip still wound into his hair, and his eyes are an angry bloodshot, but he's still here, still looking, still having saved that girl's life.
"You're so cool Eraserhead."
And finally, Izuku finds his voice, "L-let her go Shigaraki."
Shigaraki's lilting tone immediately sours back into a scowl, but he still doesn't let go. "Nobody asked you, brat."
It makes Izuku's resolve only steel, because he didn't sign up for anyone dying today except maybe a fully-fledged pro hero, "I'm not asking either, Shigaraki, let her go."
"You-" Shigaraki's angry snarl is cut off when there's a loud bang from the direction of the entrance that draws their attention. It's also at this moment that the girl flinches back, no longer frozen in fear like she had been before. Or maybe she was afraid Shigaraki would so something much worse if she had moved, which she might not have been wrong about. The girl leaps back, far enough that Izuku knows her quirk gives some sort of boost for that jump, but Shigaraki only watches her go, half his attention still on the sounds coming from the entrance.
They don't have to wait too long to find out what happened, when a figure larger than life steps into view at the top of the stairs and booms, "So fear not students! Because I am here!"
But oh, Izuku realizes with a sliver of fear even with an insurance like the Nomu to back them, All Might is not smiling.
A/N: I’m so sorry for people who didn’t want to read this and had to scroll all the way dow but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to insert a read more right now. I’ll edit this later to do that when I can.

Midnight Cuddles
Summary: You can’t sleep, so you go to your friend Bakugou for help, though it’s a bit more than what you were expecting.
Word Count: 1,571
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: None
A/N: Hey ya’ll! I haven’t posted in a really, really, really long time, but here ya go! Let me know what you think! (Also, I’ve been meaning to write this for a very long time, but never got around to it. Super happy I finally did!)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
As much as you loved it here at UA, it had officially screwed you up.
Within a few days, you have somehow managed to go from great eating habits and sleep schedule to living off Bang, Monster energy drinks, and black coffee while getting somewhere around 2 and a half hours of sleep.
With midterms starting in a few days, for both normal and hero classes, your sense of self-preservation seemed to have taken a nice long vacation. Between studying and training, self-care was pretty much one of the last things you were worried about at this point.
As of now, you were looking aimlessly between your computer and your notes, debating how many questions you could miss on this test without absolutely failing. Hearing a sudden knock at your door jolted you back to reality, though it took you a minute to register what was going on.
“(Y/N)! I know you’re still awake in there! Let me in for a minute!”
Usually it wasn’t weird for your best friend Mina to want to have random midnight talks, so this wasn’t too out of the ordinary. Pushing yourself out of your chair and taking a swig of your coffee, you walked to the door, careful not to run into anything on your way over, since you had forgotten to turn on the light even after the sun went down.
“Hey Mina,” you said tiredly.
“Hey girl, I-” Mina paused, glancing behind you at your room, which was currently being illuminated solely by your computer screen, as well as the mess that was currently occupying your desk.
“Uh, is everything okay?” she asked.
“Hm? Oh, yeah it’s all-” you stop, having to yawn, before plopping yourself down on the bed- “It’s all good. Just a bit of studying.”
“Okay, girl, what cup number is that?” Mina asked, gesturing to the coffee cup sitting amongst the many other empty cans.
“Honestly, I’ve stopped counting,” you replied, laughing tiredly.
Mina rolled her eyes, walking over and grabbing the cup of coffee, despite your objections, “Look, you’re going to sleep. This can wait until tomorrow. Besides, Aizawa’s not gonna be too happy if you pass out in the middle of his class.”
“Ughh fine, I’ll go to bed,” you said, accepting that that was probably the most you were going to be able to cram for tonight.
“Good. Well, good night (y/n)!” Mina half shouted from down the hall, in somewhat of an attempt to not wake up everyone else.
“Night!” you yelled back, forcing yourself up from off the bed to get ready to go to sleep.
~time skip~
Despite being unbelievably tired, it had been about 30 minutes since you had finished getting ready for tomorrow morning and laid down, yet you had been completely unable to fall asleep.
‘Stupid caffeinated drinks’
You cursed yourself internally for drinking so much coffee. Frustrated, you thought about your options:
You could sneak out downstairs to the common area, but if Aizawa-Sensei happened to be down there, you’d definitely be in trouble.
You could try to cram some more, but you had a feeling if you looked at your Chem. notes one more time you would actually die.
Lastly, you contemplated doing something completely and utterly stupid and irrational: Asking to crash in one of your classmates’ rooms.
You didn’t know why, but for whatever reason, you found it a lot easier to fall asleep with others near by. Usually this wouldn’t be a problem, since none of the girls really ever minded having an unplanned sleepover. However, considering the fact that it was just over one in the morning, and class started in five hours, you guessed they were all probably asleep.
You thought about asking one of your guy friends, but Kiri slept like, well, a rock, and wouldn’t wake up without a blaring alarm. You would ask Kaminari, but he was probably still gaming, and it’s not too easy to fall asleep with him yelling at his console in the background. Sero would be a good choice, but he was at a family gathering, and wouldn’t be back until next week. Considering you didn’t really feel comfortable asking the other guys in your class, that left you with one other choice: Bakugou.
While yes, usually Katsuki did go to bed earlier than everyone else, like you, midterms had screwed that up. Even though he was still doing well in class, you had actually bumped into him during a 2am snack run a few days ago, so you guessed it wasn’t too far off to say there’s a chance he might still be awake. Even if he did end up telling you to screw off, it was at least worth trying.
Walking through the boy’s dorm hall, you noticed that you were indeed correct, as even while passing his dorm you could hear Kaminari shouting. What intrigued you though, was seeing the light peeking out from the doorframe of Katsuki’s room.
Knocking, you called for him, “Katsuki, I know you’re at least awake, can you open up?”
After about a minute of silence, the door to his room swung open, and you had a rather irritated looking Bakugou staring you down, the draft flowing from his room making you shiver.
He was wearing a black hoodie with sweats, and had a pair of glasses on, which made you notice the pile of notes, costume redesigns, and other sheets of paper scattered across his desk.
“What do you want dumbass, it’s late, and I’m busy,” he said.
“Uh- Oh right! Um, so, I was uh-” you stuttered out, trying to figure out how to word your sentence, which was proving difficult with the combination of his glare and your tiredness.
“Get to the point extra-” he warned.
“Look, can I sleep in your room tonight?” you asked.
His eyes widened, before regaining his irritated composure.
“How come? You got a room, don’t you?”
“Well, I can’t sleep,” you admitted, though that part was obvious.
“And what makes you think sleeping in my room is gonna change that?” he asked.
You looked away, before answering in a quieter voice, “It’s just, well, it’s just easier for me to sleep when other people are around.”
“Can’t you ask one of your other friends?”
“No, they’re all sleeping, and I don’t want to wake them up,” you replied.
After a moment, he sighed, before opening the door all the way and stepping aside to let you in.
“Fine. But you owe me,” he said.
To that, you lit up, nearly knocking him over with a hug, “Oh my gosh thank you so much! And yeah, that’s fair.”
Katsuki froze, before pushing away from you, averting your gaze.
“Whatever, just don’t bother me,” he said.
“Okay, that’s fine. Do you have any extra pillow’s I can borrow? I’d sleep directly on the ground, but it is hardwood, so I don’t think my skull would particularly like that,” you asked, taking in the rest of his room, which was really just a bed, dresser, and some more miscellaneous papers scattered across the room.
“Why the hell would I have extras, I’m not Mina. And don’t sleep on the floor dumbass, you’re going to wake up with bad back and neck pain, and you’re not going to be able to be at your best for when I beat your ass tomorrow,” he said.
Realizing what he had said, you felt the heat rise to your cheeks.
‘Just use his bed? But then, is he meaning he wants us to share?’
The more you thought about it, the more you blushed, so you put the thought away, and made your way into the bed. Thankfully, he only had his desk light on, so you faced the wall to deciding you should be able to sleep just fine like this.
“Oi, scoot over. You’re hogging the bed,” you hear after a few minutes.
‘Wait, what?’
You turned around to face him, confused, but he only gestured for you to move.
Blushing slightly, and glad he had turned the light off, you comply, giving him room to slip into the bed.
“Um, I uh, I thought you were working?” you ask, glad that the two of you were currently facing opposite directions, though it didn’t really help with your nerves.
“I was working. But it’s two in the morning, and I guess your dumbass reminded me to go to bed,” he said, chuckling lightly at the end.
“Oh.”
After a few minutes of silence between the two of you, you felt the draft of his room again, even with the covers. You had known he kept his room cold, but this was just stupidly cold.
“Hey Katsuki?” you called weakly, in case he had already fallen asleep.
“Hm,”
“It’s really cold, do you have any extra blankets, or could you like, change the AC settings?” you ask.
After a moment, you felt him shifting behind you, before feeling him put his arm around you, his body pressed against yours, and sending warmth back towards you.
You couldn’t do anything other than sit there, a blushing mess, and yet again unbelievably grateful that he couldn’t see your face.
“Better?” he asked.
“I-um, uh, yeah,” you stutter out, covering your face with one of your hands, making him laugh.
“Good,” he said, sounding a bit proud of himself for his job well done.
That night, despite everything, you two slept better than you had in a very long time.

A/N: This is for you, my villain!bakugou loving boo. :) Also I decided to make this a song fic because I can’t think of any content on my own lol. It’s a Korean song by BLACKPINK called Kill This Love and here’s the link to the song. SONG (if you want the English translation to the lyrics, they’re available on the video). I wrote this in August but had a brain fart and I finally got back to it in my drafts I’m so sorry this took so long.
✐posted 01.28.2020✐
❝After a sweet “hi”, there’s always a bitter “bye”
After every crazy high, there’s a price you have to pay
There’s no answer to this test, I’ll always fall for it yes
I’m a slave to my emotions, screw this heartless love❞
Why did it have to be him? Out of all the men out there, you had to fall for the one man that was off limits, the one that caused the most trouble. May be it’s because he was forbidden that it made you draw towards him even more.
However, had you had known what you were getting yourself into, you would have gotten as far away from the destruction he brought as fast as you could.
It started with one mission, that faithful mission that brought so much more turmoil than anything else could ever bring in your life. You pleaded to your superior to let you go, wanting to prove to her how strong you really were.
“We have to be on guard, alright, Y/N?” your superior instructed, looking around her surroundings. “Ground Zero is supposed to be here, and if we get him behind bars, imagine how much credit snd recognition we’ll get for our unit!”
With the thought of wanting more recognition, your unit moved forward through the city in the middle of the night, keeping an eye out for any villainy. You could feel your hands shaking as the anxiety kept creeping up on you. The eeriness in the air did not help the situation either.
A gust of wind sent a few strands of your hair flying and you jumped at the feeling. You tapped on one of your partners’ shoulders, “Did you feel that?”
Before he could respond, an explosion erupted right in front of your group, sending everyone flying in different directions. You groaned at the impact of your back hitting the many brick walls in the area, struggling to get on your feet.
“Well, well, what do we have here?” A crisp voice whispered to you. You flinched, gasping loudly at the sight before you. A warm hand clamped over your mouth to stop you from screaming.
“One word out of that pretty little mouth and you’re fucking dead. Understand?” Bakugou threatened. He smirked as he looked down at your quivering figure. “You’re coming with me.”
❝What should I do? I can’t stand myself being so weak
While I force myself to cover my eyes, I need to bring an end to this love
Let’s kill this love!❞
Looking back at everything, you wished you could just smack yourself for ever believing you could get in a healthy relationship with a villain. You were an aspiring hero, although one that wasn’t the best, you wanted to help people. Bakugou was the exact opposite. He didn’t mind hurting people if it meant getting what he wanted.
You had fallen so deeply in love with him that day he kidnapped you. Maybe it was Stockholm syndrome or maybe it was plain insanity.
“You can’t keep doing this Katsuki!” You had pulled him to the side in the midst of his joining in with the other villains to attack Hosu City. The only reason why he wanted to attack the city was because Midoriya had put a stop to his previous plans and the only way Bakugou knew how to get back at him was through violence.
Bakugou rolled his eyes. “I didn’t bring you here to fucking nag me all day. I want you to get used to this shit so it gets easier when we plan attacks in the future.”
“I never agreed to hurting innocent people just so you can prove a point!” You sighed as you could see Bakugou blatantly ignore you. “Do you really find enjoyment in hurting people?”
“Yes.” You sucked in a breath sharply at his bluntness. “What did you fucking expect? I’m not a hero, Y/N, I’m a villain. I don’t work for the side that wastes their lives for people they don’t even know.”
You wanted to say something, but you bit your lip to hold your tongue.
Bakugou let out a humorless chuckle. “Just look at All Might. He’s the textbook definition of wasted potential. That dumbass threw his own life on the line for some pieces of shits he doesn’t even know and now he can’t even use his quirk because of it.”
“You’re wrong, Katsuki. Heroes help those who can’t help themselves. They empathize with those in pain and want to help alleviate that pain.”
Bakugou smirked. “Then why are you with me? Why’re you on the side that hurts those ‘poor’ people?”
“Because I don’t think you have to do this! I know you’re a good person deep down and I don’t want you hurting other people!” You clasped your hands together, pleading for your cruel boyfriend to understand.
Bakugou closed the gap between the two of you, taking a few steps forward. He raised his hand, lifting your chin up to meet his eyes. “Watch. Me.”
And with a blink of an eye you watched in horror, your hands covering your mouth as the man you thought you loved, the man you believed had at least a sliver of goodness in him, attacked innocent bystanders. And the worst part? He was doing all of this to show how cruel he can truly be.
You shuddered as a thought came to mind, one that you have been contemplating but had never processed it.
Maybe… it was time to put an end to all of this.
It was time to turn Bakugou Katsuki in.
❝Feelin’ like a sinner, it’s so fire with him.
I go boo, hoo
He said “you look crazy,” thank you baby, I owe it all to you
Got me all messed up, his love is my favorite
But you plus me, sadly can be dangerous❞
The bar was more loud and raucous than most nights after a bunch of villains attack people for absolutely no reason but for pure pleasure. Your head was buried in your hands, two empty glasses in front of you as you attempted to drown your sorrows and turmoil in drunkenness as a way of sorting through your thoughts.
You knew turning Bakugou in was the only thing that could put a stop to all of this. But you couldn’t ignore how much you cared for him as a person.
“Katsuki?” You called out, walking down the stairs as you looked for your boyfriend. You heard the door close earlier, signaling that he had to be inside your house somewhere. As you entered your living room, he was sitting on your sofa, his legs propped up on the coffee table as he seemed to be in deep thought. You walked over and sat beside him. “Everything okay?”
Bakugou snapped out of his trance, his crimson eyes staring deeply into your own. “I think I’m dying.”
Your eyes widened in confusion. “What?”
Before you could question Bakugou even more, he took your hand in his and brought it to his chest. You felt his heart beating fast under your touch.
“It only happens when I’m with you,” Bakugou muttered. He looked back up at you. “What does this mean?”
You couldn’t help but break out into a wide smile. “You’re not dying, Katsuki.”
“Then what is this I feel like my heart’s gonna jump out of my fucking chest.” His brows were knit together as he was genuinely concerned.
You chuckled, wrapping your arms around his torso and placing your head against his chest. His heart continued to beat rapidly under your touch.
❝Lucky me, lucky you after all, in the end we lie
So what? So what?
If I end up forgetting you
So sorry, I’m not sorry
What should I do? I can’t stand myself being so weak
While I force myself to hide my tears, I need to bring an end to this love
Let’s kill this love!❞
Your legs started shaking rapidly as the anxiety and the severity of your actions set in. Your fingernails were already practically nubs due to you biting at them in order calm down but to no avail.
Your doorbell finally rang and you sprung up, practically jumping at the door. Gamma, one of the only true friends that you made out of the rest of the villains in Bakugou’s friend group, seemed flabbergasted by your bewildered expression.
“Are you okay? I got your text,” she asked as you closed the door behind her.
You led Gamma to your sofa, holding her hands in yours as you took a deep breath in. “You know that out of everyone here, I trust you with my life, right?”
“Yeah.” Gamma was confused.
“And I need you to promise me that whatever I tell you stays between us. You can’t tell anyone. Not even Katsuki, even if he’s your boss.”
Gamma held your hands tighter, giving you a small smile. “You’re the first friend I made here, regardless of the fact that I’ve been here far longer than you have. You’re my best friend. And I’d do anything for you.”
You smiled back hesitantly and sighed once more. “I’m going to turn Katsuki and myself in.”
Gamma’s eyes widened, parting her lips to say something before closing them. “Are you sure about this, Y/N? Like one-hundred percent sure.”
You nodded. “In the beginning I thought I could look past all the things he’s done, but I don’t think I can handle it anymore. Gamma, hundreds of people have been hurt and lost their lives just because Katsuki was bored sitting at home or wanted to teach his enemies a lesson. I’ve tried to reason with him because I’ve always believed that deep down he didn’t want to actually hurt anyone, but nothing’s working. I can’t keep living like this.”
Your eyes were filled to the brim with tears at this point. Gamma brought her thumb up and wiped away your tears, embracing you in an effort to comfort you. “I know how much you care and love Ground Zero. Even if he’s my boss, out of everyone here, you come before anything and if this is what you feel is right, then I think you should do it.”
“Thanks, Gamma.”
“Of course.” Gamma pulled away. “Did you think about how you’re going to turn yourselves in? He’s not really just going to waltz into the police station and let you do it.”
You sighed for what felt like the hundredth time. “I’m not really sure. I was initially going to go myself but that really won’t do much. Do you have any ideas?”
Gamma pursed her lips as she thought about it for a second before snapping her fingers. “Why not send a letter?”
“A letter?”
“Yeah, it’s more risky if you send anything digitally but letters are practically outdated so it would be less likely for you to get caught before executing this plan.”
You nodded, a small smiling breaking to your lips. “Thank you for everything, Gamma.”
“I’d do anything for you, Y/N.”
❝We must kill this love
Yeah, it’s sad but true
Gotta kill this love…
You looked around the secluded location, a gust of wind sending your hair back. You looked down at the response letter that was sent back to a week after you sent your own letter, confirming the location. Oddly enough it was the same location that you and your team had gone to in order to catch Bakugou only for you to be sucked into this mess. The police had written back for you to meet here to ultimately work with them to get Bakugou before turning yourself in.
You were shivering in the cold, having waited at least fifteen minutes for anyone to show up.
Before you could even think of anything else, a figure stood before you at the end of the secluded alleyway. There was only one streetlight and the person was barely visible to you and you were probably barely visible to them as well.
“Excuse me, I’m Y/N. I sent you the letter about Katsu– I mean Ground Zero,” you called out to the end of alleyway. “As I said in the letter, I want to turn the two of us in.”
The figure walked towards you, proceeding slowly until their face could be visible under the light. You gasped inwardly at the sight.
“You know, out of all the fucking people who could have betrayed me in this damn world, you were the last on that list, Y/N.” Bakugou stood under the light, his angry expression as clear as day.
“Katsuki…” You were speechless. You didn’t know what to say.
“I’ll give you a chance to explain yourself.”
You felt a bead of sweat form on your forehead and the back of your neck. Your lips quivered in fear before you could speak. “I’ve told you so many times that the way you hurt and kill innocent people hurts me to just watch. I can’t continue to be a bystander to all of this.”
Bakugou continued to proceed towards you until your back hit the wall and there was barely five inches of space in between the two of you.
“Katsuki.” You looked at him straight in the eyes. He held so much anger in his expression but you could also see how your actions hurt him. “I know you. I know that villainy isn’t what you wanted in the beginning. I know that deep down, you don’t want to hurt all those people. This is our way of making it right so please come with me.”
Bakugou sighed, raising his arms. You winced, expecting him to lash out at you. Instead you were surprised as he leaned down and wrapped his arms around you. “I love you, Y/N. More than anything in this world. You’re the only one who stood by me in everything and you’ve always wanted the best for me. Those other fuckers were and have been using me to their own advantage but you did everything in your power to make sure I was okay and my needs were met.”
You wrapped your own arms around his torso, pressing your cheek against his chest. “I’ve always wanted the best for you.”
“That’s why it hurts me to do this.”
“To do wha–”
You felt the air get knocked straight out of your chest. You looked down, nearly falling over at the sight of the dagger jabbed straight into your abdomen.
Bakugou pulled away, watching as you fell to the floor, grabbing at your stomach as the pain continue to intensify. He caressed your hair as you looked up at him in absolute horror. “But, you’re not the first person to try and do this. So many of you naive little girls think you can just change a person through your feelings and your stupid fucking emotions. I’m a villain, Y/N. There’s nothing that you can change about that.”
He got up and started to walk away. You got on your forearms, slowly trying to crawl your way towards him. He stopped walking, looking back at you once more. “I really did love you, Y/N. And I wanted you to be different. But you’ve disappointed me.”
… Before it kills you too.❞

Imaginary- Chapter Three
Midoriya Izuku’s life was turned upside by fate.
Eri’s life was turned upside down by circumstance.
And Bakugou Katsuki is about to learn that even imaginary friends need to grow up.
Also on AO3
A/N: Don’t really have a note today, this time change has got me brain dead lol Hope you enjoy :)
*********************************
Three days.
Izuku has three days until he starts his new job at the Noto police department.
Just three very short days to get it together, and he’s never felt as close to cracking as he did in that very moment standing in his own backyard with a crying 4-year-old and a metric ton of guilt pushing down on his shoulders.
To say the last four days had tested him would be an understatement of vast proportions.
Each day it had felt as if he’d hit another parental hurdle, each set higher than the last in some universal gag to try and trip him up. And it had all started with that fateful introduction of that damned imaginary friend.
The first day, he’d walked into their living room to see it had been rearranged in a psuedo obstacle course. Couch turned catawampus and pillows tossed across the floor, he’d caught Eri as she was climbing up the tilted coffee table toward the armrest of the sofa.
Kacchan says the floor is lava and we can’t touch it or we’ll burn up, she’d exclaimed as Izuku had inhaled for five and then back out for five.
The second day, after a few failed attempts at calling her down for lunch, Izuku had marched his way to her room to find her walls decorated with stick figure murals. He’d stood there in abject horror as his gaze had tracked across the colorful doodles in which he, Eri and some mysterious blond stick figure seemed to star. Izuku had had to swallow down a strangled sound as he’d tried to mentally calculate how she had managed to get some of the drawings several feet higher than the rest.
Those are Kacchan’s, Eri had said proudly as Izuku had inhaled for ten and then back out for ten.
On the third day, Izuku had run up the stairs in a panic after hearing what sounded suspiciously like an overflowing bathtub. Bubbles had cascaded through the hall from the bathroom where he’d found Eri sitting on the closed toilet, smiling brightly with bubbles perched on top of her head like a curling sundae.
Kacchan says foam parties are the best, she’d said around a giggle as Izuku gave up on counting his inhale, instead waiting until his lungs burned.
He couldn’t be sure, but somewhere between the new art gallery on his walls and Bubblegate, Izuku had started to question whether Kacchan was less of an imaginary friend and more of a devil on Eri’s shoulder. Or maybe just a devil, full stop.
After the last few days, he should have known something was up when it was entirely too quiet. Lost in the mindless gathering of clothes and toys in preparation for Eri’s trip to the zoo and following sleepover with his mother, he hadn’t paid the blissful silence much mind. The peace had settled around Izuku like a comforting hug that had abated the constant burn of an unseen gaze that he’d constantly felt over the last few days.
That much should have been what tipped him off.
At the very least, he should have had the instincts to know nothing good happened when things were so peaceful.
The calm before a storm and all that.
Izuku had gone out into his backyard to ask Eri to come in and check that he had everything she wanted laid out before he attempted to get it all into her backpack, unsuspecting of the fact he would look up to find the 4-year-old standing on the patio’s roof with a bed sheet tied around her neck and a determined look on her face.
Which, led to this exact moment, with Izuku cradling the wailing girl in his arms, trying his best to rearrange his thoughts while also thanking every deity he could think of for letting him get there before she could have decided to test out the bedsheet’s wind resistance on her own.
“Shhh,” he shushes her quietly, squeezing her a little tighter to him and brushing a careful hand over her hair. It grounds him, as he times his breathing to the thoughtful strokes that seem to calm them both.
Moments pass as he continues to sway her, letting the quiet drag of time calm his heart and settle it back down from his throat. Guilt gnaws at the already frayed edges of his nerves as her sniffles press into the collar of his shirt.
His own fear had bled into his tone when he’d seen her on the roof, turning his panic into something sharper that had only seemed to scare her. An ache spreads out over his chest as he thinks about the way she’d started crying at his raised voice as he’d instructed her on how to get down. Izuku hadn’t meant for his words to come out so harsh, but in the moment, all he could feel was the unfiltered dread fed by the thought of every shortcoming he had had as a stand-in parent.
“Eri, what were you thinking?” He asks, trying to tamp down on the residual sternness in his voice as he squats to set her down. Pulling away to look her over, his heart clenches at the way her bottom lip wobbles. With another small sniffle, Eri grabs at a corner of the sheet and unceremoniously rubs away at some of the snot under her nose.
“Kacchan said he’d catch me,” she admits, her voice thick and eyes still watery as she looks up at him.
Of course he did, he thinks bitterly before biting his tongue. Swallowing down a growl of frustration with the copper taste of blood, Izuku lets his mind wander to the notebook sitting on his desk upstairs. The night after Eri had come into his life, he’d taken to the internet to create his own How To Be A Parent For Dummies manual. Filled to the brim with notes, there was one portion in particular that seemed to fit this imaginary friend situation.
Kindness, understanding, and patience.
Three words he has underlined and highlighted at the end of the numerous pages of handwritten notes.
Kindness, understanding, and patience, he repeats like a mantra in between calming breaths.
Kindness, understanding, and patience.
Kindness, understanding, and patience.
Settling his expression into a smile, he gently pulls the sheet corner from his small grasp and uses it to dry her cheeks.
“I’m sure he would have,” Izuku says carefully, searching her face for any sign that she picks up on the false note that colors his voice. “But it’s still very dangerous, even if he would have caught you. You wouldn’t have wanted him to get hurt, would you?”
There’s another loud sniffle as she shakes her head before casting her gaze over Izuku’s shoulder.
“I had her.”
It’s a quick, indignant growl that somehow sounds both distant and close as he feels a shudder roll like thunder down his spine. In spite of himself, he turns his head to cast a glance behind him. A warm breeze rustles his curls as he keeps his stare locked on the space behind him, seeing nothing but the empty yard stretched out to his back.
Searching for something and nothing, he finally turns back to Eri to see that her teary frowned has upturned slightly.
“I’ll tell you what,” Izuku says carefully, ignoring the sudden burn of an unseen stare at the center of his shoulder blades.
“How about you let me know before you and Kaachan start playing from now on, okay? Just so I can make sure neither of you gets hurt.”
Quiet fills the space between them as Eri’s eyes cut back and forth between Izuku and the space behind him, almost as if in silent question. Opening his mouth to say something else, he quickly snaps it shut when she finally stops on him and nods.
“Okay, Daddy Izuku,” she says, her smile finally touching her eyes. It cracks something in his chest and Izuku breathes for what feels like the first time since he’d stepped out into the backyard.
“Alright, you, how about you run up to your room and make sure I have everything for your sleepover, and I’ll be right up,” he says before pulling her in for another hug. Eri’s giggle is bright as he feels her drag her nose over his shoulder and fist her hands in the fabric of his shirt.
“I’m sorry,” she says into his shirt as she hugs him tighter. With a kiss pressed to her hair, Izuku pulls away gently.
“It’s okay, I just worry about you,” he smiles before ruffling her hair. Eri’s laugh is bright as she playfully jerks away from the show of affection.
“Now go on in,” Izuku continues, tilting his chin back toward the house. Grin growing ever wider, Eri runs toward the house with the sheet waving wildly behind her. Several beats pass as he watches her disappear up the stairs toward her room. It isn’t until he’s sure she isn’t coming back that he takes a steadying breath before standing and turning toward the empty yard.
“I don’t know who or what you are,” he says, letting his annoyance color his tone a darker shade. It makes him feel like a fool, speaking out to nothing, and that only makes his next words come out harsher.
“But I will find a way to make you pay if anything happens to Eri.”
Unsurprisingly, he’s met with silence.
***
The words on his phone blur as Izuku continues to scroll through yet another parenting blog, scanning the tags on the posts for anything that might pertain to him and his situation, whatever the hell his situation even is.
Something tells him none of these mommy bloggers are going to have an answer for why he may or may not be randomly hearing what is supposed to be an imaginary friend.
Of course, maybe they could, but since he was scared about what results he might get back if he searches why am I hearing voices, he supposes he’ll never really know.
Sighing loudly to himself, he reaches a hand blindly toward what was surely now a tepid cup of coffee. Sitting up just enough to ensure he doesn’t choke, Izuku takes a quick sip, wincing at the coolness of the liquid that had seemed to have sapped it of its flavor.
With another sigh, Izuku sets the mug back down before dropping his back onto the couch cushions to continue his fruitless venture through the seventeenth Parenting 101 blog he’s found that morning.
Something also tells him this wasn’t what his mom had meant when she’d smiled up at him, patted him gently on the cheek and said to enjoy some “him” time.
I know that look, sweetie, she’d soothed. It’s like looking in a mirror during your hero phase.
Izuku can’t quite remember if he’d given his poor mother this many problems with his own imaginary friend, but now that he’s been on the receiving end, he makes a mental note to order her a muffin basket.
Maybe this was some kind of karma, he thinks, going back to his search window and clicking the next blog. The title of the first entry seems promising as it exclaims What To Do When Your Kid’s ‘Imaginary Friend’ Is A Troublemaker in loud pink letters.
Scanning his gaze quickly over the words, Izuku makes it about half way through the opening anecdote when his phone starts buzzing loudly in his palm. The suddenness of it causes him to jump as he drops it screen down right in the middle of his face.
“Ow,” he moans, pulling the still vibrating device from off his face and rubbing gently at his nose. It’s only a moment more as he reads the contact name flashing across the screen before he answers.
“Oh good, you’re still alive,” Shinso’s drawl is flat as Izuku presses the phone to his ear. If he was anyone else, he might think Shinso sounds almost disappointed in the fact. Luckily, he isn’t though, and he can catch the faint fondness that lingers in his words.
“Did you think I wouldn’t be?” Izuku slings back without any real bite as he stares up at the ceiling. Drumming his fingers on his stomach, he hears a soft sound caught between a laugh and an exhale on the other end of the line.
“I’m not sure what I thought since I haven’t heard from you since you left,” Shinso hums. Guilt, sharp and ragged, once again shoots through Izuku’s chest for the second time that day as he sits up.
“I’m sorry—” he starts, pushing the words around the stone that’s forming in his throat.
“It’s a joke, Green,” Shinso cuts him off, “you’re busy, I get that. New dad, no manual, I get it.”
His words pull a small laugh from Izuku though the ache remains, pushing dully at the confines of his chest and up at his throat in an attempt to choke him. Rubbing his nose again, Izuku coughs to loosen the suffocating ball.
“Can’t believe you’ve learned how to tell a joke since I left,” he teases with a rasp as he reaches for his subpar coffee.
“Clearly not well enough if you didn’t get it,” Shinso chuckles low, the sounds of it caught up in his infamous drawl. “How’s my favorite partner been?”
Rolling his eyes at the question, Izuku takes another sip of the cold coffee. It’s disgusting at this point, but it does do something for the knot pressing at the base of his throat.
“I’ve been better,” he replies truthfully around his wince as he drops his mug back onto the deep colored wood of his coffee table.
Shinso is one of the few people he feels truly comfortable being honest with. Having been paired together at the police academy, they’d been through their fair share of misunderstandings, only to come out on the other side with an appreciation and understanding of each other.
Opposites in many ways, they had both shared the same heroic ideals, born from the same desire to make the world a better place.
Granted, Shinso’s came with the hard plated armor of a rather large chip that he kept carefully balanced on his shoulder, but Izuku couldn’t quite blame him for that.
After all, he was sure he’d also be a bit abrasive if he’d heard throughout his whole life that he’d only ever turn out like his criminal father.
“Not you, Green,” Shinso scoffs, shaking Izuku of his reverie. “Jeez, I mean Eri.”
His answering laugh is loud, breaking through the guilt stacked up against his sternum as he pushes himself up off the couch.
Shinso had been the only other person that Eri had taken to, though Izuku suspects it had been more out of necessity in the beginning. The purple haired man had been a veritable cornerstone in beginning. No matter the day or time, Shinso had helped out whenever he could, and eventually, he’d won her over.
Uncle Shinso, Eri had taken to calling him.
By the time they left, he wasn’t sure who had ended up crying more.
After a mindless lap around the living room, Izuku leans down to pick up a discarded toy. It’s the fuzzy purple people eater that Eri had excitedly named Shinso, a fact that draws a smile along his face.
“She’s doing great, Shinso,” he says fondly, making his way to the designated toy corner and dropping the stuffed animal into the box that sits there.
“She seems to like her daycare, and she really likes being near mom. She’s got an imaginary friend now.”
Izuku prattles, as if reading off a checklist, as he continues to tidy up the room aimlessly.
“That imaginary friend giving you trouble?” Shinso cuts in during a pause in his musings, voice carefully thoughtful.
“How could you tell?” Izuku asks sarcastically, leaning down to grab another toy. The toy’s eyes stare up at him, it’s smile a wide grin that feels almost taunting as he moves it to the toy box.
“Call it intuition,” Shinso laughs, causing Izuku to roll his eyes once more as the toy thuds quietly where he drops it in the pile.
“And maybe a bit of experience. I remember giving my mom hell when I had an imaginary friend.”
“Mom made it sound a bit like I may have too,” Izuku replies as he sweeps the living room with one last look before making his way to the coffee table and grabbing his coffee cup.
“Which makes me wonder if this is some kind of karma.”
The musing earns him a loud snort.
“This too, shall pass,” Shinso states sagely before his voice goes soft around its edges. “It isn’t necessarily a bad thing, Izuku. She’s finally acting a bit more like a kid.”
Humming, more to himself than anything, Izuku swallows down one last sip of the unsavory liquid.
“I know,” he finally sighs after coming up from the mug’s rim.
And it’s true.
In the past week, Eri has acted more like a kid than she had in the few months they’d been a family. She was smiling more, and laughing more, and she had a twinkle in her eye that had been missing since they’d carried her out of that metallic shipping container.
For the first time since that fateful day, Eri had the look of a child, and he’s happy about that.
That, of course, didn’t stop the constant dark shadow clinging to the edges of his thoughts that constantly whispered over and over that maybe he was still out of his depth.
“I just—” Izuku starts, making his way towards the kitchen. He pauses in his words, before sighing. “I just worry, is all.”
“I know you do,” Shinso says quietly, almost apologetically, as if he has anything to apologize for. “But you’re doing great, Green. Really.”
Stepping up to the kitchen sink, Izuku dumps what’s left of his coffee into the sink and turns the water on. Filling the mug slightly, he swirls it around, watching as the water goes murky as it catches the coffee still clinging to the porcelain.
“Thanks, Shinso,” he replies, dumping the water down the sink before setting the cup down on its metal bottom.
About to turn away, a sudden glint of sunlight through the kitchen window catches his attention.
Just outside the gate to their front yard, is a man.
Sunlight catches in his hair, touching it with gold as it spikes up in cool disarray like some kind of exploding halo. It softens his features, which are twisted in a scowl as he looks up towards the house. Even from this distance, Izuku can see the pinched line between his eyebrows, as if he has something on his mind.
Shinso’s voice is distant as Izuku continues to watch him gaze at the house as he shoves his hands deep into his pockets. The motion pushes his shoulders back, almost as if he’s waiting for some kind of altercation.
His scowl seems to deepen the longer he stares, and for a fleeting moment, he looks almost dangerous.
A burn in his chest reminds him to breathe as he watches the stranger slowly track his gaze from the upper windows of his home down to the kitchen one.
An all too familiar chill dances along his spine as the stranger’s gaze captures his own.
“Izuku?” His name pulls him back by the throat. Shaking his head quickly as if to shake the vestiges of the unknown man’s stare, he turns quickly on his heel and makes his way to the front door.
“Can I call you back?” Izuku says as an answer, ignoring the confused sound Shinso makes in the back of his throat.
“Everything alright?” His friend asks, equal parts curious and worried.
“Yeah, just gotta check something out,” he says, rushing the words as he pushes his feet into his shoes.
“Alright, talk to you later then,” Shinso sounds bewildered as Izuku hangs up.
Throwing open the door, he steps out into the sunlight. Blinded momentarily by its sudden brightness, Izuku raises a hand to shield his eyes from the glare.
“Hey!” He calls out, gaze searching the sidewalk only to find that the stranger is already gone.

_________________________________________
Today was the day...
Today would decide over your future, whether you would be accepted into U.A. or not. Today was the day of the entrance exam and you were shitting your pants.
This was your only chance to get into the best hero academy in Japan, your only chance of figuring out how to control your quirk properly, to grow stronger and redeem yourself.
Everyone was gathered in front of a huge gate. Looking around you, all you could see were kids mentally preparing themselves for the fight.
Some of the kids were already wearing some kind of hero costume to enhance their power.
“Fucking ridiculous,” you mumbled while looking down at your casual outfit. You were just wearing normal jeans with a leather jacket above your plain white t-shirt.
The other contestants were making you nervous, which made you click your boots together and shuffle around uncomfortably.
‘Why am I even nervous? I have the advantage of being able to hack everything that has a technological circuit.’
You inherited that quirk from your father or at least, you thought you did for the longest time. Turns out it was a little more complicated than that.
-----Flashback-----
The doctor was looking at your test results, brows furrowed. He looked up at you for a second but quickly returned to reading through the many documents in front of him. He paused again and looked back up at you with a look of confusion plastered on his face.
Your parents were getting nervous and growing slowly impatient.
“Well, Doctor? Do you know what’s wrong with her eyes?” your mother finally broke the silence, not being able to withstand the tension any longer.
“Well, at first we thought she just inherited both of your powers,” the doctor began cautiously. “She is obviously able to hack and manipulate computers and other pieces of technology, like you Mr. L/N. She also has your physical abilities Mrs. L/N. Her reflexes are amazing and she’s incredibly fast and strong for someone her age.”
“Yes, we know that much already, but what about her eyes and hair changing colors?” your father asked, growing even more impatient.
“Well, I looked through your family tree and the documented entries about the abilities of your relatives,” the doctor said, shuffling through his papers and glancing up at you every now and then as if you were some sort of delightful specimen. “Apparently, way back, you had a relative whose powers could be described as a copycat.”
“So what you’re telling us is that she didn't inherit our powers. She just copied them?” your mom asked confused.
“Indeed.”
“Do you know anything else about her abilities? How they work or what the color change means?” your father kept pushing, wanting answers for his questions.
“Every time she uses her quirk, her eyes change to the color of the person’s who’s quirk she’s copying. However, she doesn’t have a typical copy quirk. She doesn't have to touch the person before she copies them, also she doesn't really have a specific time limit to her powers. Most copycats can only use their power for roughly 5 minutes,” the doctor examined you closely again. “Although, that doesn't mean your daughter doesn't have a limit of using her powers. The moment she exhausts herself or loses focus and control, her hair will change to the color of the person’s hair she is copying. Just like her eyes. If that happens, all her powers will suddenly vanish. We’re not sure how long the effects of overuse will last, we’ll have to run tests to be certain, but we’ve estimated somewhere around half an hour.”
“Oh... I see,” your mother said, looking at you with a concerned expression on her face. “Well, how does she activate her quirk if it’s not through touch?”
The doctor winced and leaned in towards your mother’s ear. He whispered something and your mother’s face paled.
“O-Oh, okay then,” your mother stammered, avoiding your curious gaze. “Y-Yes, I’ll tell her.”
-----Flashback end-----
All the information was just too much for you back then. You didn’t even know you were copying your parents, you thought you had their quirks naturally.
You didn’t have anyone to teach you how to control your quirk or even use it properly which was why you had to get into U.A.
Your powers were fucking useless. Well, not really useless, per se, but they weren't... conventional.
If you couldn't handle your own power, at least you could perfect your body and the physical abilities that you copied from your mother. It isn’t All Might level strength but you were a bit quicker on your feet and stronger than the average person.
Those hard years of training really paid off and you knew that you weren't fragile and could stand your ground in a fight. You had practically perfected the use of your parent’s quirks to the point that you had practically no limit to either of them.
The sudden yelling around you pulled you back into reality. Present Mic was standing on a tower near the gate. He smiled mischievously. The next thing you heard was: “What are you waiting for? There won't be a countdown! Better hurry to get those points you got 9 minutes left!”
Before the words even sunk in, your legs were already carrying you through the open gate. You were running alongside so many other kids who could be your future classmates, but right now they were competition and you weren't gonna lose this test.
You were sprinting full-on, wanting to put as much distance as possible between you and your competitors. It didn’t take long for you to be part of the few people in the front.
Everyone quickly spread out through the fake city, not wanting to have other people claiming their points.
As you ran through the streets of the modeled city, you spotted a robot in a narrow alleyway.
It detected your presence almost immediately, whirling around to face you. Its arms flailed in stiff motions, steam coming out of its sides, red lights focusing on your body, trying to hit you.
Instead of trying to face it head-on, you ran as fast as you could and slid under the machine.
You popped up on the other side and pressed your two palms flat to the cold metal, activating your quirk and shutting down the robot’s circuits.
You let out a sharp breath through your nose, a proud grin appearing on your face “Hm.. 3 points? Easy! I was scared for nothing, I guess.” Feet carrying you already further down the alley, you didn’t even look when the processor of the robot overheated and finally exploded. You tallied your points mentally, keeping track of your kills as best as you could.
The robots popped up like bugs. It was safe to say that you didn’t need to search for them because they just appeared around you, leaving you no time for a break. Then again, who even wants a break when every second counts?
Suddenly, you heard a speaker crackling to life, followed by a loud voice ringing through your ears. “4 minutes left! Better make ‘em count!”
With your father’s quirk, it was easy to destroy the robots without even breaking a sweat. Everything was running smoothly until they unleashed the 0-pointer.
You were running down the main road when the voice came back through the speakers. Just as the man told you and everyone else the remaining time, a huge robot appeared right in front of you.
For a 0 point robot, that thing was waaaay too huge and powerful. “Are they trying to kill us?” you mumbled angrily, adrenaline rushing through your system and making your muscles tense even more.
The robot towered over probably half of the fake city, arms deadly with spikes and other shit you didn’t want to look at.
You could hear gasps and screams around you, followed by kids running in the other direction far away from the murderous thing. You were about to run away too when a blond boy caught your attention in the corner of your eye.
The 0-pointer wasn’t even 20 meters away, but firecracker dude just kept on blowing up the other robots around him.
“What the fuck is this idiot doing? Does he want to get killed?” you growled through gritted teeth, running straight toward the danger.
You didn’t really think about what you were doing. Your legs were carrying you as fast as possible towards the blond boy.
Your heart dropped and your breath got caught in your throat the moment you saw the deadly arm of the robot heading straight for firecracker boy.
The next thing you know, you had shoved the boy out of the way and took the hit for him. Not a second later, you could feel one of the spikes slicing through the surface of your shoulder, leaving a nasty scratch. A piece of heavy debris instantly hit the ground where the two of you were standing seconds ago.
“WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING, SHITTY GIRL?!” the blond screamed at you as you coughed and groaned, trying to put pressure on your bleeding wound.
“THAT’S NOT THE NICEST THING TO SAY TO SOMEONE WHO JUST SAVED YOUR STUPID LIFE, ASSHAT!” you yelled back with just as much anger, hurling yourself up and at another robot, not wasting any time on gaining points.
You heard a frustrated roar from the boy who just catapulted himself right back into the fight beside you. A loud siren snapped you out of your rage. “The U.A. entrance exam is over!” and just like that, all of the robots that weren't defeated shut down.
Exhaustion washed over you and you fell down on your knees, clutching your bleeding shoulder. The adrenaline started to wear off and was replaced with burning pain.
“Oh dear, that is a nasty scratch! Let me help you,” an old lady in front of you said.
‘Where the hell did she come from?’ you thought, following her every move curiously.
She reached out and planted a kiss on your skin. A warm tickling feeling spread through your body and just like that the wound and the accompanying pain were gone.
“Ummmm, t-thank you very much!” you said in astonishment.
“No worries, my dear!” she waved you off, heading straight for the next injured kid.
The old lady left and in her place, a fuming blond boy appeared. “I don’t need saving from anyone, especially not some weak ass girl like you!” he said angrily, though it sounded more like a growl to you.
Being flattened by that stupid robot would be more pleasant than dealing with this ungrateful shitstain in front of you.
‘Is a thank you too much to ask for these days?’
“I lost important time because of your stupidity!” he kept on yelling.
“STUPIDITY?! YOU KNOW WHAT?! NEXT TIME, I’LL LET THAT ROBOT SLICE YOU TO BITS, ASSHAT!” you burst out. Flames were probably coming from your eyes, mentally burning the blond boy.
“HAAH, DON’T MAKE ME LAUGH, SHITFACE! THERE WON’T BE A NEXT TIME! THEY DON’T ALLOW WEAKLINGS LIKE YOU INTO U.A.!” the blond boy yelled, catching the attention of everybody around you. He stomped away, followed by shocked looks.
You growled lowly in your throat, forcing the frustrated tears back. You were clenching your fists so hard that your nails were cutting into the palms of your hand. You didn’t want to admit that his words had cut even deeper than that stupid robot.

BnHA Chapter 165: The Baby-Sitters Club
Previously on BnHA: The kids began their supplementary lesson for the day. Tired Mera (upgraded to his final form from just plain old Mera) introduced Camie from Shiketsu and said she would be joining the lessons moving forward. Gang Orca showed up and flung Bakugou, Todoroki, and Yoarashi around some just for the hell of it before announcing that the three of them plus Camie would have a special assignment for the day. Cue the arrival of about 25 screaming children. They immediately set upon the lot of them and stole Bakugou’s grenade gauntlet and piled onto both Todoroki and Yoarashi and we’ll probably never see either of them again. Present Mic got all hyped up and stole Mera’s mic to start narrating all of the action. Meanwhile, Endeavor quietly asked All Might just how the fuck one goes about being a Symbol of Peace anyway.
Today on BnHA: The babysitting squad struggles to figure out how to “win the hearts” of this vicious group of six-year-olds. Bakugou proposes that they single out the kids’ leader and break their spirit to establish dominance. Inasa tries to bond with them. Todoroki tries to show the kids what kind of person he is by giving a five-hour oral presentation of his entire life story up to this point. Shockingly, none of these approaches is very effective. Meanwhile Endeavor opens up to All Might (I know guys, shit’s crazy) and says he’s obsessed his entire life over trying to be stronger than everyone else, but he knew from the start that he would never be able to top All Might. All Might says that he simply wanted to be a symbol the people could believe in to give them hope and help them not to be afraid. He says that he and Endeavor are different and that Endeavor should try to find his own way of doing things. Meanwhile the babysitting mayhem continues as the kids face off against the young heroes and activate their quirks.
(As always, all comments not marked with an ETA are my unspoiled reactions from my first readthrough of this chapter. I’ve read up through chapter 187 now, so any ETAs will reflect that. I accidentally spoiled myself for something huge related to Deku and I’m so mad lmao. so now I’m going off on a frustrated reading binge and so help me god I will catch up with this manga if it kills me.)
our new squad!
“win the brats’ hearts” omg
I’m telling you guys, Kacchan has this in the bag. he has so much experience with being a brat. he knows how to reach the hearts and souls of brats. he is a natural leader. like Steve Harrington before him, he is a babysitting legend and doesn’t even know it yet
that’s it Katsuki. assert your authority. remember, they can smell fear
how did they get both of them??
this boy fought off six grown villains at once, and yet he has been completely outmaneuvered by four preschoolers in a matter of minutes
and yet, please note how even as he tries to get this under control and also finds the time to yell at Todoroki (who makes an excellent point btw), he effortlessly dodges this one kid who was trying to sweep his legs
Camie is all “I have no idea what to do next” and over in what has now become the announcer booth, Present Mic is all “I can just tell they have no idea what to do next”
he can just tell
now he’s handing the microphone over to the sobbing kindergarten teacher so she can clarify what exactly the hero kids’ task is here
“basically I want them to do my job for me k thanks byyyyyyyyyyye”
so she wants them to inspire these kids somehow
wow Shouto and Inasa are so moved
meanwhile Bakugou is just like (╬◣益◢)
well at least he’s motivated. you really want to go get yourself flung around by Gang Orca some more huh
now he’s ranting about how this is what happens when the teacher fails to carry out their role as the leader of the kids, and that the kids have sensed that weakness and taken advantage of it
and that somewhere out there is an alpha kid “who sets the mood for the rest of the class” and they just have to find them
like you, you little thug? speaking from experience are we?
he knows just how to deal with them once they find them too
this is all very Lord of the Flies
and now he is demanding that the strongest child come out to fight him lmaooooo
and he’s being called out by the Monoma child
more like he never mentally matured past the age of six. this right here is the lawless jungle of schoolyard politics. your civilized rules have no place here
the kindergarten teacher is asking Mic if this is really going to be all right lol
and actually, Mic seems to have a surprising amount of faith in Bakugou, stating that he’s “just doing a little side show” that’s all
yep. sure he is
meanwhile Camie is informing Bakugou that delinquents are out of fashion
and he’s all “WELL THEY SHOULDN’T BE”
delinquents in general are, but Delinquents With A Heart Of Gold are still as popular as ever, so you’re good, Kacchan, don’t you worry
now Inasa’s stepping up to the plate!
he says the fast track to becoming best friends is just to get to know each other. I assume he also turned to wink at Todoroki and I just missed it
“who wants to be a hero?! raise your hand!”
ooh, it’s working!
CAN HE FOLLOW THROUGH?
wow he’s a natural
okay in all honesty, Inasa would be a great dad. frankly, looking at his performance here just drives it home how absurd it is that he didn’t manage to pass the provisional exam the first time around. he has all of the qualifications and then some. it’s just that he’s Dumb
holy shit
THESE KIDS ARE CALLING THEM OUT LEFT AND RIGHT
looks like Team Rocket’s blasting off againnnn nnnn nnnnnn... *ping*
at this point should I be concerned for Todoroki
like, I’m starting to sense a pattern here
so now Inasa’s smashing his head onto the ground in his trademark deep bow from a standing position, and apologizing to the kids and saying he had no right to preach at them from his high horse
Camie is all “wow these kids are pretty fucked up huh”
and Bakugou is all “THAT’S WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING”
he says sometimes you need violence to “put ‘em in their place” and that’s how he was raised
oh boy. so this is why everyone is all “Mitsuki is abusive”, isn’t it
goddamn you Horikoshi and your throwaway lines. does this mean I’m gonna have to do a Mitsuki meta after all
well for now I’m just gonna say that I don’t believe this line is meant to imply that Bakugou is being seriously abused at home in any way. it’s like... this, to me, is the same as when they had him all chained up on that podium at the end of the sports festival arc. something that was done for comedic effect. like, yes, if this was real life, that would be pretty fucked up and would definitely warrant some looking into. but this is a shounen manga where they had children battle each other to the point of unconsciousness for sport, and everyone was cool with it and cheering them on. when Bakugou says he was raised in a violent household, it’s clearly meant to be comedic sitcom violence where no one actually gets hurt. I’m not saying it’s not something that can’t be interpreted more deeply, because that’s half the fun of reading a manga. but I’m just saying that I myself am choosing to take it in the more zany/cartoonish tone in which I believe it’s intended, because in this case I think reading too deeply into it would lead to projecting issues onto Bakugou’s character that I don’t actually think are there. giving him angst I don’t think he actually has, in other words
I don’t think I’m doing a very good job of explaining this, though, so like I said, I really will end up having to post that meta I think
(ETA: so yeah, I posted that yesterday. thank you for everyone who took the time to read my rambling thoughts on this very touchy subject!)
anyway!!
meanwhile this kid absolutely was abused at home, though, and that’s a certified fact. and this is what he has to say about that
and immediately Bakugou is thinking back to the conversation he overheard at the sports festival
oh my god
this fucking kid omg
just. look at this shit though. he understands immediately that Todoroki is referring to his own violent upbringing, and he’s like oh snap, and then he actually backs down in his own way and doesn’t try to argue the point and is just like, fair enough, why don’t you give it a go then
and yet the way he does it is just. so exquisitely obnoxious. “let’s see... how can I try to be understanding, but like, in the rudest fucking way possible”
just. it’s magnificent. dammit Katsuki why are you like this
oh hey we’re cutting back to Endeavor and All Might
Endeav says he’s entrusted everything to Shouto
he says that he had already climbed to the number two spot when he was only twenty years old, and that he immediately understood that number one would always be out of his reach
okay, gonna press pause for a second now here. so just a reminder that we know Endeavor is 45 years old. maybe 46 now, idk. anyway though, so this means that he’s been the number two hero for 25 years. and that means that All Might must have been active for at least the same amount of time, and that he was already number one even 25 years ago. not just that, but he was well-established enough that Endeavor already knew he would never be able to beat him
so the question is, how long do we think it took All Might to become that established. could he have done it just two years after graduating U.A.? I think in all likelihood this means he’s probably a little older than Endeavor. I really can’t see him as any older than 50, though, so it’s hard to say. maybe he just ages like Paul Rudd. at any rate, he has obviously been around for quite a while
(ETA: to add onto this, we know from chapter 185 that no one had ever reached the top 10 as a teenager before Hawks did. so at minimum All Might would have had to be at least 20 years old before he became #1. so yeah, I’m gonna go ahead and say he’s definitely older than Endeavor by at least a little bit. honestly would it kill Horikoshi to go ahead and give this man an official age already.)
anyway, Endeav says he didn’t just want the title (which is obvious enough, given how he reacted when it was just handed to him following All Might’s retirement). otherwise he could have just gone around “foolishly smiling at everyone” the way All Might did
okay man, if you’re seriously trying to change your ways though, you might want to start with reconsidering that particular part of your attitude there
(ETA: though it seems his fans don’t like when he does this lol. no one wants a friendly neighborhood Endeavor apparently)
anyway, so yeah, he says he wanted to be the strongest
All Might’s saying this isn’t like Endeavor at all, and Endeavor is all “>:( JUST TELL ME THE ANSWER ALREADY”
All Might says he has no idea what to say to him. but All Might is a fucking liar, because you just know he’s about to go off into inspirational speech mode though
yeeeeep
basically he just tried to be a good, strong hero who could reassure people that everything would be okay. he won their trust. the reason why Endeavor is struggling is because no one trusts him in that same way. he’s just not a reassuring guy. people don’t feel safer just with him being there. he’s strong, yes, but more in a don’t-mess-with-this-guy way than a putting-your-mind-at-ease type of way. he doesn’t comfort people, he puts them on edge
anyway. while I went on my little tangent, All Might was continuing, and he mentioned how he ended up pushing away most of the people around him, and that was the path he chose
and there’s a flashback to Nighteye, and Endeavor is actually picking up on that
All Might says he know what kind of situation Endeavor is in and what people are saying about him
yeah we just got a nice demonstration of that less than a chapter ago
he says people keep comparing the two of them, but that they’re different
hmm
part of me is like “because he already has another successor in mind lol”
but he’s saying that Endeavor simply needs to find his own way of doing things. “and there’s no need to rush it”
wow, where did this chill, no-worries attitude come from all of a sudden I wonder. I seem to recall the six-years-ago All Might shouting at Nighteye that he had to continue carrying on even as a wounded Symbol of Peace, because even a small interim without that symbol would be disastrous
but now we’re all “it’s cool man, you just do you and you’ll figure it out, no rush.” it’s not like there’s a whole league of villains out there plotting or anything
though on the other hand, All for One is currently behind bars, and as for Tomura, All Might currently thinks of him as “Shimura’s grandson, so he can’t be that bad! I just have to get through to the misguided little tyke.” so maybe we’re not on the same page right now as far as urgency goes
now Mic’s commentary is drawing their attention back to the Baby-sitters Club over here
this is it, Shouto. all eyes on you my man
I have no idea what’s about to go down, but Endeavor is again aggressively showing his support
honestly, it’s very possible that even if Endeavor had actually not been a dick this whole time and had actually tried to be a good parent before now, Shouto would have still come out of it traumatized. Endeavor strikes me as the kind of guy who would have signed Shouto up for Little League and worn a shirt with his face on it to every single one of his games. “THAT’S MY SON!!! SHOUTOOOOO! DO YOUR BEST!!”
is that your dad, the other kids ask. in mortification, baby Shouto creates a little igloo with his quirk and ends up just hiding in there and refusing to come out for the rest of the game
you guys
I feel like. he actually has no clue what to do next
he’s thinking to himself that first he needs to show them what kind of person he is, and until he does that “everything I say will fall on deaf ears”
...please don’t break your arms. felt like I needed to say that. this is not a “what would Midoriya do” type of situation. he would get punched in the nuts is what
sfdalhkdhf
I fucking can’t with this dramatic fucking family
lol what
this is “showing them what kind of person you are”??
and the kids are not having it omg
lol he’s apologizing
YOU BLEW IT KID
lmao Camie is all “it seems like the three of you have been trying to do things the normal way this whole time”
not sure what chapter she’s been reading that she thinks all of this is normal
she’s suggesting that they use their quirks
you know what, I’m on board with that! because WHAT IS YOUR QUIRK, ANYWAY. I want to know omg
Kacchan is all “I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THAT”, but were you. were you really
but wow, though
who does this nerdy gung-ho take-charge analysis remind you of? because I’ll tell you, it reminds me of a certain gung-ho take-charge green haired nerd
oh my god they got in a huddle
this really is my new squad. omg. look at them formulating their nerdy gung-ho take-charge plan to take on these two dozen six-year-olds
meanwhile said six-year-olds are gathering their power
did this one kid really fucking unhinge his jaw and produce a fucking cannon wtf
and then there’s rabid Pacman kid, Akatsuki jacket kid who appears to be sprouting moss, triangle eyes kid who’s producing some sort of hula hoop wave, some kid with antennae who really has no business being all “OUR GENERATION IS BETTER” when all he has is a fucking antennae quirk, and lastly this sixth child who isn’t doing anything at all except hovering above all of the other children in such a way that I can’t tell if it’s just wacky panel design or if that’s actually his quirk
at any rate though, these kids better watch out, because these high schoolers appear fully prepared to Stoop To Their Level
can anyone tell what Camie’s quirk is from this panel. I can’t make out a damn thing. is this something where when I come back to look at it later it’ll be obvious and I’ll just be like “how the fuck did I miss that”
(ETA: oh man you guys. I can’t fucking wait for tomorrow’s chapter lol)
anyway. we all already know that Bakugou will take virtually any challenger seriously whether it’s Deku, Ochako, All Might, a bunch of villains, or Deku again. so it’s not all that surprising that this would extend even to a bunch of literal grade-schoolers
but what is surprising is that the others are following his lead here. well, maybe not so much surprising as just hilarious
why don’t you come down here and try your hand at it then if you think you’re so smart, Mic
he’d probably just offer to sign autographs and then wind up devastated when they don’t all fall over starstruck because none of them listens to the radio
will our heroes be able to impress the group of jaded small children?? will they actually end up resorting to violence after all and to hell with Todoroki’s earlier objections?? will we ever find out what the fuck is wrong with these kids’ parents?? STAY TUNED
once again there is no bonus page. there’s only one more of them (since I always skip the staff introduction pages), and it goes with chapter 167 I think. but it doesn’t matter much since this recap is already super fucking long good god

Tea (Todoroki X Reader)
Pairing: Todoroki x fem(?)!Reader (see a/n)
Genre: Fluff, slight angst (?) (definitely some feels), SoL? Idk
Summary: Todoroki is being sent somewhere with Endeavor for an unknown amount of time and while you agreed that you wanted to help him pack after a party at Bakugou’s, you end up not for one reason or another (maybe bc you had a drink or two and you’re a somewhat emotionally vulnerable).
Word count: 1,582
Tags: @yuki-osaki @liviitehe @iamsoftsodonttoucheume-blog @bunnythepipsqueak
a/n: Okay so I know I wanted to keep this neutral, but I really wanted to make heels a thing here, so I slipped, I’m sorry :(. But if you ignore that, everything else should be fine. Kept it pretty PG here for the most part too. If you’re curious, Icy Hot’s wearing a black dress shirt, maroon sweater, and dark pants/jeans (I just really like this pic, the artist was really good). And if I put it in your head that he may or may not be wearing glasses, you can do whatever your heart desires with that useless information.
Heads up though, next post should be Shinso x Reader so if you like that kinda stuff, stay tuned I guess? Yeah...
Also if you enjoy sammiches as much as I do, you’ll be able to hear Todo juust fine winkwonk.
"Baby, you're clutching my arm very hard."
"I can't walk very well," I admit more giggly than I wanted it to come out. "My feet hurt in these heels and the road isn't helping." Truthfully, the path to Todoroki's apartment from Bakugou's is downhill and I might've had one too many drinks when I already have a low tolerance. The last thing I want to do is fall on my ass and make my supportive boyfriend think he's dating a lush. Not to mention, I'm not too mad about being able to grab his toned biceps as my own.
He stops walking suddenly and fully faces me, expression fully serious that I think he might actually yell at me for a second. "Do you want me to carry you?"
Shame hits me like a truck and sobers me, realizing I'm acting childish. "No, I can walk. It's not that far anyway, I'm sorry-"
He gently grabs my face in his hands and bores his intense stare into them. "You're obviously uncomfortable. I'd really like to carry you," he states with authority.
No matter how many times Todoroki does this, I can't seem to get used to it. The way his eyes glare into my soul with seemingly endless passion tongue-ties me. On occasions when he really wants me to hear something - usually his professions of affection or persuasion - he'll make a point to softly cradle my head in his hands. Sometimes when they come at random, he'll stare wordlessly before cracking a heartwarming smile or place a small kiss somewhere on my face before returning to whatever it is he was doing beforehand.
My face heats up and I want to avert his gaze out of embarrassment. "I'm... I'm pretty heavy," I blurt out dumbly, saying the first thing that comes to mind.
"I can handle it. I've trained a lot."
I can tell, I almost want to retort to fluster him too.
"Do you prefer being on my back or in my arms?"
My face turns redder at the thought of either happening. "O-On your back," I mumble. It's the least embarrassing of the two.
Todoroki finally releases me of his hands and eyes, bending down in front of me so I can get on. Once I'm secured to his back like a child, his hands under my thighs, he stands up and continues walking down the sidewalk.
I tighten my arms around his neck, half scared I'll fall, and bury my face into his left side. "If I get too much for you, you can put me down, okay?"
He nods wordlessly, which I know means he won't, being the stubborn, affectionate boyfriend he is.
I breathe into his neck, his steady walking pace calming me. His natural fresh, airy scent mixes with the musk of his cologne. "I'm sorry I'm too much for you," I murmur near his ear.
"What makes you say that?" I practically hear the way his eyebrows furrow.
"I'm tipsy, walking like a baby elephant, you have to carry me back to your place like a child on your back." I cling to him harder. "I'm being a burden to you, I'm sorry."
He hums slightly, the vibrations caressing my arms around his neck. "I did say I'd like to carry you."
I smile just slightly. "You're just saying that to make me feel better." I kiss his cheek fondly. "Thank you, I guess."
The heat on his left side gets minutely warmer and I giggle at his reaction.
We finally make it to Todoroki's apartment lobby and into the elevator. Though I tell him I can walk the rest of the way, he refuses to let me down, reasoning that it's faster for him to carry me. Once we make it into his modest apartment, he strolls into his room and finally sets me down to sit on his pale blue comforter before giving me a glass of water to drink. "This should help flush out the alcohol and keep you from getting a hangover tomorrow."
I thank him for his thoughtfulness and he moves to retrieve his suitcase from the top of his closet. Endeavor wanted him to come on a mission in some other country for a week or so, depending on how quickly the situation is resolved.
I curl my legs up so he has space to open the suitcase on his bed. As he neatly packs his clothes and other belongings, it's silent; I just watch him, sipping my drink as he wordlessly packs, eventually shedding his maroon sweater and rolling up the sleeves on his fitted, black button-up. When I asked to come over after Bakugou and Kirishima's party to help him pack, he agreed, but now he's not asking me for assistance. Not that I'm bothered by it.
He eventually closes everything up and stands the grey suitcase on its wheels, rolling it next to the door before approaching me for the empty glass. "Tea?"
I nod, following him into the kitchen and observing his back from the counter as he prepares two cups for us. A well of emotions has been building up inside me the entire night. Seeing my boyfriend move around the kitchen makes me deflate at the thought of me being deprived of his kindness for a while.
Todoroki's hand brushes my arm, motioning to his room with the tray in his hands. He leads us back to sit on his bed. "Are you cold?" he asks as he hands me my cup. "Do you want to get under the blanket?"
"I'm fine, thanks." I blow on my drink and sip it carefully.
We bask in each other's calm presence as we usually do most nights. Another thing I'll miss while he's away.
He lightly touches his hand against my arm. "Love, are you alright?"
The term of endearment is enough to warm me up inside. "Yeah, why?"
"You're frowning."
I didn't know I was until I felt my face relax at the comment. "Sorry," I say instinctively.
He finishes his cup and places it on the tray resting on the floor before settling next to me, resting against the headboard and running his hand on my knee, tracing small patterns with his finger.
I twitch at the slightly ticklish sensation. "I'm sorry I wasn't any help with your packing. I just sat here."
Todoroki shrugs, watching me with fond eyes. "I figured you just wanted my company since you know I can pack myself."
I smile tugs at my lips. "You know me so well." I drink the rest of my tea and set it down next to his cup before facing him completely.
The boy entwines my fingers in his cool hand, staring into my eyes. "You look beautiful."
I chuckle at the compliment he repeated at least 10 times today. "And you're still handsome."
Still staring at me with those heterochromatic eyes, he wraps an arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him. "I'm dreading leaving you tomorrow," he admits quietly.
I smile sadly. "Me too."
He brushes his hand through my hair. "I wish I had a suitcase big enough to stow you away in."
"Me too."
His lips hover near mine for a moment. "I'll come back as quickly as I can." He places a soft peck on my nose. "I'll think about you a lot." Before I can respond, his lips are on mine, slowly moving before pulling away slightly. "Sorry, I've been waiting most of the night." He picks right back up, holding my nape. I feel the overwhelming love he pours into the kiss, spurring my own feelings. My fingers thread into his soft hair, softly tugging at the strands to pull him closer.
Todoroki has no intention of letting go, clenching his arm around my waist to get rid of any space between us as he pulls me to straddle him. His kisses get more desperate, more passionate, unspoken words relaying from him. My stomach tumbles with weightlessness, the amount of emotion he presents overwhelming me. His tongue lines my bottom lip before he nips at it, enticing a gasp from me. He tilts my head to pepper kisses down my jaw to my neck before recapturing my lips with new fervor. Cold fingers trail under the hem of my shirt up my sides, my body quivering in response as I let out a shaky breath into his mouth. "Your skin is so soft," he whispers, "I'll miss it when I'm away."
A few more breathless kisses before he pulls away, resting our foreheads together. "Baby," he mutters, catching his breath, "I'll miss you, so much."
My hammering heart melts at his words. "I'll miss you more."
Todoroki places one more slow kiss on my lips before he rolls us onto our sides, still hugging me close to him and staring lovingly into my eyes. "I promise I'll make it up to you when I return. Would you like to spend the night?"
I snuggle into the crook of his neck and place a kiss there. "I'd like that. And you can tell me how you'll make it up to me."
A warm hand comes up to play with my hair as he chuckles. "Well, I'd ravage you first of all-"
My fist collides with his chest softly in halfhearted protest. The rest of our night ends in cuddles and quiet whispers as we lull each other to sleep in each other's arms.
