Kristen shouldn’t be class president bc of the responsibility-? Guys, It’s such a nothing position that maybe lets you plan prom. What responsibility? I heard about class president like one time during junior year, they announced it on the loud speaker and then proceeded to never mention it again. It’s notoriously a nothing position with no power. Kids campaign by saying stupid shit like they’ll get Fetty Wap to preform or they’ll get the water fountains to have soda in them instead. Let miss Applebees pad out her transcript 👊

Here are some brief thoughts on kdrama that started airing in 2020 that I've watched. I said brief, but those who have been following me would appreciate that this is indeed, brief.
The list is in alphabetical order.
1. 365: Repeat the Year (MBC)
Tumblr media
Disclosure: I am a HUGE Lee Joon Hyuk stan. He is second only to Hyun Bin on my list. The fact that this drama is on the top of this list is a happy coincidence 🥰🥰
I was soooooooo excited when I knew Lee Joon Hyuk was to star in a new drama. MBC made the announcement of the drama late last year, and I was literally walking to the office when I saw the announcement on ig.
The premise of the drama was pretty straightforward. 10 people were given the chance to travel back in time exactly one year prior. Mysterious things kept happening to the people who took the trip, so our Detective Ji “Fluffy-Hair” Hyung Joo and webtoon writer Shin “Self-Hater” Ga Hyun joined hands to figure out what exactly happened.
Once they finally figured out what caused the mysterious cases, they faced a great dilemma on what to do, with our Fluffy Hair detective running as a fugitive.
The ending was really sad, and I really wished it ended differently, but the main character of the story was our Fluffy Hair detective, and him having to live on and reset the whole thing from the new past was a nice touch to the ending.
This drama was full of surprises, twist and turn, and it is certainly a drama I would consider rewatching in the future.
2. Do You Like Brahms? (SBS)
Tumblr media
Many people criticised the second half of this drama. Apparently the year 2020 is the year when kdramaland keeps being a disappointment, and many people are quick to include this drama in the list of disappointing drama, despite having a good beginning.
I beg to differ though. To me this drama feels more of a healing drama, wherein the characters are forced to deal with their issues. And anyone who has had to go through any form of therapy knows how hard healing process is.
TL;DR: The main leads are both people who have been mentally abused by the people around them, except for Cha Young In, because she was the only reason I did not throw my remote control at my 50-inch TV.
Park Joon Young is your classic example of a ‘gifted kid’ struggle. He was seen as a young, talented pianist who had a bright future ahead of him. But people started to treat him more like a trophy than a human being, so he decided to take a sabbatical, much to the criticism of people in the music industry. Park Joon Young realised that his passion in playing the piano has faded away, no thanks to his abusive piano professor who belittled him again and again, and practically brainwashed him into being a people pleaser. You could see how Park Joon Young was not himself in the beginning of the drama once you finish the drama.
Chae Song Ah took interest in violin at a later age (much later than professional musicians) and decided to pursue her dream by enrolling into a music programme. Her classmates were all younger than her, and it didn’t help that they all learnt music since much younger. I love how Song Ah did not give up on her dream easily and gave it her all, before she finally decided to let go of her dream to become a musician. The metaphor of her love for violin and Joon Young hurting her again and again and she just endured it though.. I cried like a mess well I am a mess but that’s a separate issue
Tumblr media
Special shout out to Cha Young In who was there for both of them.

3. Flower of Evil (tvN)
Tumblr media
If thriller is your thing, consider this drama. If you are one of those people who like to see your characters being tortured (physically and mentally), this drama is a MUST WATCH. And if you enjoy watching Lee Joon Ki playing a character who is put at a great distress because he is trying to run from his past, go watch this drama.
More importantly, if you enjoy a drama where your ML is sexy, attends to house chores and takes care of his bright young daughter while his wife goes crazy for solving violent crimes, a devoted husband who is attentive and a tender person but also a freak in the sheets, you are wasting every single of your breath not watching this drama.
Tumblr media
I mean look at this man teasing his wife about his stamina.
Flower of Evil did not feel draggy at all. Everything that happened within the first 6 episodes could have been an entire drama if this was written by someone else. Seriously, this drama kept me at the edge of my couch!
The dynamic of HS and JW screams POWER COUPLE but at the same time it broke my heart how they were pushed into corners too many times by the people around them I do hope they had some sexy times while they were in the corners though
The focus on their wedding rings throughout the drama symbolised their unbreakable bond. The wedding rings were literally the very last thing that kept them together when JW stumbled upon evidences that pointed against HS.
JW, whose compass was only trusting what she saw, and not what she heard, tried to break the stigma of women being at a disadvantage in the police force. Heck, she was better than her entire team when it came to solving cases, her being the only woman in the team. Who said women cannot make good cops?
The plot twist though.. And the climax.. To this day, I still listen to this soundtrack from the drama and cry just thinking of the climax.
4. Into the Ring (also known as Memorials) (KBS2)
Tumblr media
I didn’t even plan on watching this drama. I was channel surfing and saw Park Sung Hoon looking all depressed in the first episode and ran into Koo Se Ra. Girl was UNHINGED and determined to fight for her way.
Her motivation was initially on getting a stable pay check from being a district representative (it was only 60 million won which is like USD55k so it’s not that much) but she eventually became the district representative who fought for the benefit of the people and did not care for the political warfare that took place.
Came along Seo Gong Myung, a government officer in the local government office who was demoted from planning unit of the accounting department or something to be a secretariat to the district assembly. Seo Gong Myung sticks to his principle no matter what, which surprise surprise, is HATED by everyone in the district government.
Turns out our main leads were friends when they were kids so Se Ra kept teasing him and dragging him into her scheme of fighting for the people, which Gong Myung agreed to, not so much because he was a community-loving person, but because he was afraid Se Ra would get into trouble since she was as straight as a ruler.
Long story short, our leads fell for each other, and their relationship was HILAIROUS to watch. I think I speak for everyone who watched the drama that we had no reason to believe Se Ra did not peg Gong Myung for fun 😝😝
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They were so cute together awwww
5. Kairos (MBC)
Tumblr media
This is another drama that I stumbled into. Only this time, I saw Nam Gyu Ri and I remember seeing her ig post on a new drama so I decided to give it a go. She wrecked my heart in 49 Days so I decided to check this out for funsies. Hooo boy was I in for a major surprise.
The first two episodes got me hooketh!! I still cannot believe how the drama managed to keep me on my edge especially during the last 5 minutes of every episode. The pacing is even faster than Flower of Evil, and since this drama went back and forth between past and future, it keeps me guessing whether their efforts would bear fruit.
Will Kim “Sexy Brain” Seo Jin  and Han “I-Know-No-Fear” Ae Ri succeed in fighting the evil, who at this point in time remains unknown? I know Chairman Yoo Seo Il is currently being hinted as the culprit behind everything but I know better that he is just a puppet who sold his soul to the real devil who most likely is in the higher ranks in politics. I mean he even hinted at his remorse for what happened with Taejung Town 19 years prior. My suspicion is he is trying to cover up whatever happened because otherwise his own family would be at risk, so his only option is to redeem himself by doing something about the Taejung Town. I could be wrong, but regardless of who turns out to be the real villain in the story, I can say I am so satisfied by how the story has progressed so far.
The time paradox still hurts my brain, but I am choosing that this drama does not assume that time is linear.
There is still not enough people watching this drama and I’m begging you all to go and catch up before it ends in two weeks time.
6. More than Friends (JTBC)
Tumblr media
A little trivia: I reblog most of the posts from @kdramastuff even if I am not watching the show at the point of reblogging the posts. I had been following her posts on this drama for 3 weeks, and I finally decided to marathon all 6 episodes and joined the watching party.
More than Friends was another drama that many people called a disappointment but I had a different opinion on it. Yes, I used to be the nerd who had different opinions on many things in high school sue me
The drama is premised on Kyung Woo Yeon who is said to have a crush on her high school friend, Lee Soo for 10 years. Lee Soo is nowhere near to be the perfect boyfriend material. He is selfish, does not care about other people’s feelings, and was always a lone ranger.
BUUUUUUT, Lee Soo seemed to show signs of care and affection (even though it was not at all for a normal person’s standard) for Woo Yeon. Surprisingly, he seemed to only do it for Woo Yeon and gave attention to Woo Yeon alone, even though he could practically pick and choose anyone he liked from the swarm of girls who were chasing him.
One day, he told Woo Yeon that he had to leave to the US to study, which made our girl sad. She decided to confess at the airport, but he outright turned her down, saying he only wanted to be friends with her. Over the time, they kept running into each other by coincidence (note: her name Woo Yeon is a wordplay on coincidence in Korean). Later, it was revealed that he wanted her to always be by his side, but he has built a wall as tall as the Great Wall of China before the idea of love so he didn’t realise what his true feeling for Woo Yeon was all along.
Woo Yeon, who felt sick of the ten-year crush, decided to end the “curse” and kissed him by the beach, thinking of getting a closure on her crush.
Tumblr media
Long story short, Lee Soo finally realised his feeling for her and decided to confess, but by that time, a young, handsome, rich CEO of a conglomerate has entered into the picture. Cue the game of cat and mouse between Lee Soo and Woo Yeon about resentment, regret and relationship.
This drama was promoted as a romcom, but it feels more like a slice-of-life drama with a mix of melo and romcom in there. Seriously, I cried buckets watching this drama, not something you’d expect from a romcom. The dialogues were well-written, with each episode revolving around a specific theme. This was such a good drama coming from a rookie writer.
This drama did not have that many viewers to begin with, and many of those few people dropped it along the way, including the one who was responsible in getting me hooked into this drama :p  By the end of it, there were so few people talking about this drama in the tag (shout out to @dohyunsoo @have-yet-to-decide @starfire-s @thbn-anything for keeping me company to the very end of this drama)
This drama broke my record of screenshots per episode and total screenshots for any show. Until now, I have yet to finish posting them. I should probably upload more screenshots later tonight.
This drama had some AMAZING shots in the first half, with beautiful sceneries mostly in Seoul. It’s like what they said, “a daily occurrence for you, a trip for me”.

7. Oh My Baby (tvN)
Tumblr media
I did not even remember watching this drama!! It was only after scrolling through my gallery that I saw I had shared some posts on my ig story about the drama.
It was in the middle of a lockdown when this drama aired and many of my memories from back then feel so distant to me.
The plot was not THAT good, but this drama is something you may consider if you like torturing yourself about the struggle of wanting to have a baby.
8. Once Again (KBS2)
Tumblr media
Arguably one of the weekend family drama KBS2 in a while that kept me waiting for new episodes in front of my TV. Some people are turned off by weekend family drama because they tend to have slow pacing which makes viewers feel like they are being dragged to one of those boring corporate events that you would rather miss and wish you could be literally anywhere else.
Because this drama had more pairing than the typical weekend family drama, the story did take some time before it was on full momentum. It did feel like the drama could have been better with even one less sibling to worry about, but it was a fun watch in the middle of lockdown.
Will I watch it again? I’d rather rewatch House of Bluebird (starring Lee Joon Hyuk and Lee Sang Yeob as friends to enemies to friends again) because that drama spoke to me in a way that was more relatable. No hate to Once Again though. I just prefer House of Bluebird better.
Note: Justice for Song Ga Hee and her lovely son, Kim Ji Hoon. He had to grow up so much because of what happened to his mother, that it broke Ga Hee’s heart. And mine of course
9. Secret Forest 2 (tvN)
Tumblr media
I watched Secret Forest once it has finished and I fell in love with the drama! Imagine my excitement when they announced Secret Forest 2 with my three main characters reprising their roles. No hate to Yoon Se Ah, I love her, but her screen time in Secret Forest was not enough to make me excited about her return. But I was pleased with her role in Secret Forest 2 and I hope if there is a third season, her character gets the redemption arc that she yearns for.
Secret Forest 2 was not as intense as the brilliant original, but I understood that it had to do with the overall theme of the season, and the theme required the script to be as such. Some people may argue me on this, but I still think what they pulled off was brilliant.
Too bad there was a severe lack of Lee Joon Hyuk on my screen though.
10. Tale of the Nine-Tailed (tvN)
Tumblr media
Well. This drama went far beyond my expectation. The OTP was to die for. No such thing as miscommunication trope. This drama did not waste time on unnecessary drama. The pacing was incredibly fast, even faster than Kairos. Although to be fair, Kairos had to play with two different timelines and required time to establish the setting.
I’m sad about what happened to Lee Rang, but he did what he did, and he would never be able to erase that much pain from his memory even if the deities decided to be lenient on him because of his roles in killing off Imoogi. A fresh start as a human seemed like a fair reset to his life, and I hope he lives well, surrounded by people who love him.
I was never a fan of Jo Bo Ah (no hate on her, I was just indifferent) but this drama opened my eyes to what an incredible actress she is. I wish her a successful career ahead.

How you met the Karasuno Universities Boy’s Volleyball Team… And became Manager in Training
Monday
Your first day at Karasuno University was going decently, going through your day without much interest until lunch when you ran into your childhood friend, Kiyoko Shimizu, who had basically been your big sister. You two had been from the same neighborhood as children, and she was friends with your second oldest brother. You had formed a quick attachment to her, since she was much nicer to you than your brother was. She had been the manager of the Boys Volleyball Club back in high school, and apparently was here at the University as well.
She asked to catch up, and to meet her after practice had ended. You eagerly agreed, and knew you’d show up a little early to catch a glance at the surely hot volleyball boys. You hadn’t paid any attention back in high school aside from whether they won or lost, due to your own club activities, but you loved watching Volleyball. You actually weren’t too bad at it during PE, either. Surprisingly for someone so short, you were very quick when you wanted to be and were good at diving, since your plush chest and thighs often padded your slides.
After your last class, you went to the library to start on homework you’d already gotten. Once you had finished it, you looked at your phone and chewed on your lip as you noticed a text from Kiyoko, who let you know that practice would end around 7:00. Looking at the time, it was 6:00, and you figured it’d be a good time to head over. Packing up your stuff and slinging the bag across your shoulder, you head towards the boy volleyball’s practice gym.
Sighing to yourself, you’re not really sure what to expect, having never met any of them. Sure, she had told you all about them over text and phone calls but you never had any faces to match up to the stories, then when she had graduated you hadn’t heard anything the last two years about the club. You had become the Manager for your own club, Art Club, second year, so unfortunately had been too busy to even entertain the idea of meeting any of them during high school.
Plus, back then, you had hidden yourself behind glasses (whether you needed them or not), baggier clothing than needed and childish hairstyles, not wanting to draw attention to yourself. You had lacked the confidence to meet any boys, and honestly all boys did was pick on you. But, since then you had dedicated yourself to working on being so self conscious, learning to love your body and self after becoming Manager at the Art Club. Having so many people who depended on you and thought you were amazing was a really great confidence booster.
Getting to the gym at 6:40 due to your rather short legs and the gym being all the way across campus, you hear the rapid squeaking of tennis shoes from outside the door. Slowly, you open the door and crack it open, causing it to creak from the movement. Instantly, you feel eyes snap towards you, hearing a ball slap against the ground at the same time your eyes look up, seeing nearly the entire gym of boys staring at the door. At you.
All of a sudden you see red, but not in the “im angry” way, your vision is literally filled with red-orange hair.
“Hi! Who are you?!” his happy voice fills your ears, causing you to snap out of your trance and stumble backwards.
“O-Oh, hello,” you stutter out and grasp at your bag, biting the inside of your lip. “I’m L/N, I’m here to see Kiyoko-nee-chan?” you say, trying to find her but the boy in front of you was tall enough to block your view. Not a shock, considering you’re likely the shortest college freshman ever.
“Kiyoko?” he repeats, then turns and calls for her, “Kiyoko-senpai! There’s someone here to see you!”
Once he turns his shoulder, you can see nearly everyone in the gym, your eyes scanning over all the tall men. You nearly choke when you see most of them, well over a foot taller than you easily. Your eyes finally land on Kiyoko and you sprint towards her, across the gym in the blink of an eye.
“Woah,” the red head murmurs from the door.
“Kiyoko-nee-chan!” you whine, grabbing onto her for dear life. You had not mentally prepared yourself for so many tall men. Sure, your brothers and dad were tall but there were only three of them. You had only met a handful of guys unrelated to you this large before, as you tended to just avoid men as a whole.
She smiles softly and gently pats your hair, “I told you I would text you when I was done,” she murmured softly.
“It’s getting dark outside,” you murmur to her.
“Woah, that was some dash you did!” said a man with a deep tenor voice. Kiyoko quickly introduced Daichi Sawamura, the Captain of the team. You bowed, thanking and apologizing to him for interrupting their practice and allowing it. He waved it off, saying it was nothing since Kiyoko had mentioned you’d likely be stopping by. This confused you, making you tilt your head. What had he meant by that?
“Wait, wait, who is this that knows our beautiful Kiyoko!?” one of the boys says and your eyes land on a buzzed headed boy who looked like a delinquent.
“Yeah, yeah! Who?” says one of the shortest- no definitely the shortest- of the bunch with spiky hair, bouncing around just like the buzz-cut boy.
“Oh.. everyone, this is my childhood friend, F/N L/N-chan,” Kiyoko’s soft voice somehow fills the gymnasium and they all watch you with interest. “She’s back in town after having been in Tokyo for the last three years,” she added.
“Childhood friend?! What was in the water over there!?” the buzzed boy wonders loudly.
“Right?!” says the short one, “She’s just as beautiful as our Kiyoko!” he adds as he nudges the boy beside him.
Your face gets hot, making you look down in embarrassment, “T-Thank you, s-senpai’s…” you murmur shyly to them both when you realize they’re complimenting you.
Both boys blink and stare at you for a moment before they suddenly begin screaming and running around the gym. “DID YOU HEAR THAT?!” “SHE CALLED ME SENPAI!” you hear the boys excitement in each statement, but you’re not quite sure why they’re so excited. You had only been being polite.
The orange haired boy is in front of you again with a large smile, holding out his hand. “I’m Shoyo Hinata!” he chirped happily. “Wait, did Kiyoko-senpai say you.. went to Tokyo for high school? Which one?” he wondered, tilting his head.
You glance at Kiyoko for a moment and she nods, encouraging you to make friends. You look back at the other, who is a good 20 cm taller than you, while most of the others easily hit 30-40 cm taller, aside from the other short one who perhaps was only 15 cm taller. You take his hand, noting how much larger it is than your own.
“Nice to meet you… Yes, I did, I went to Nekoma...” you nearly whisper, looking into his big brown eyes. They flicker away from you when Daichi begins to speak. You realize you’re still holding Hinata’s hand, and he realizes as well as you both quickly pull away, both looking at the floor in embarrassment. He didn’t get a chance to reply before Daichi spoke.
“Hey team! Come meet L/N-chan!” Daichi said, surprising you. “Kiyoko wants to train her to be the next manager!” he told everyone.
You blinked, looking up at Kiyoko, confused. She smiled her sweet small smile and nodded, “Want to?” she wondered quietly. “I know you know a lot about volleyball…” she added. She quickly explained that it was easier with two managers, and their other manager, Yachi-chan, had gone to Tokyo for college, which left them with an open spot.
You thought about it as the boys all gathered around to meet you. Finally, you nodded, a bit excited to try this out. Kiyoko smiled a bit wider than usual and hugged you tightly. You hugged her back, forgetting all the boys watching the pair of you. When she pulled away, you remembered, your face getting hot again as you fidgeted a bit.
Turning to the team, you bowed, “I’m F/N L/N, pleased to meet all of you!” you do your best to be enthusiastic, keeping your head bowed for a moment before finally lifting your head.
Each of the boys introduces themselves, save from Daichi and Shoyo. Yu Nishinoya and Ryunosuke Tanaka getting rather close to you when they introduce themselves. Koshi Sugawara pulls them away and apologizes before introducing himself with a sweet smile.
You end up recognizing Tadashi Yamaguchi, as the two of you had been in the same class during middle school, and also had a few classes together this year as well. When meeting his giant of a friend, Kei Tsukishima, you nearly fell back just trying to look at his face.
Asahi Azumane introduces himself rather shyly, while Chikara Ennoshita, Hisashi Kinoshita and Kazuhito Narita are all quick and kind. Chikara mentions he’s looking forward to working with you, which makes you fidget nervously with your nails. The last one to introduce himself comes up to you, his body movements stiff as he holds out his hand to you, saying his name was Tobio Kageyama.
Tanaka and Nishinoya are dancing around like idiots, both of them excited to have another pretty girl around all the time. You let out a soft laugh when Hinata joined them, everyone staring at you in surprise for a moment. Your face heated up, shifting a bit as you got closer to Kiyoko. It was definitely going to be an adjustment getting used to the rowdy boys.
Daichi got everyone to start cleaning up, while you, Kiyoko and Coach Ukai started talking about all the things that would go along with learning to be a manager. Since Kiyoko was still here, you’d have less responsibilities but they did expect you to help out whenever asked. You promised them both you’d do your best.
-------------------------------------
“Hey, hey, LN, what was that crazy quick run before?! It was like Zoom!” Hinata said from behind you, causing you to turn to greet him.
“Oh, yeah! I’ve only ever met Sho who was that fast! Like whoosh!” Nishinoya chimed in, appearing seemingly out of thin air.
“O-Oh, well, It’s only in short bursts and I.. erm, can’t do it much else…” you tell them with a soft nervous laugh. “I’m not that athletic, erm, but I do like Volleyball! I watch games all the time, and erm, I can toss a ball pretty okay!” you explain, tightening your hands into fists as you hyped yourself up, trying to push off those nervous jitters. Squeezing your hands close to your chest, you look up at the two before speaking again, “I’m going to do my best!”
Nishinoya was biting his jersey, yanking at it as he nearly screamed, “You’re so cute!” his voice sounding strained.
Tanaka appeared behind Nishinoya and grinned, “She really is!”
Hinata just looked away, but his bright red cheeks betrayed his thoughts.
Daichi appeared next to you and gently placed a hand on your shoulder, “You’ll get used to them. They’re this way with Kiyoko too,” he said, his voice so gentle and yet so deep.
You smiled sweetly at him and nodded, “Thank you for that, Sawamura-senpai.”
“Daichi is fine, no need to be so formal,” he laughed. He gently pats your shoulder and leaves after that, the group gathering to go over the day's events since it was only their first practice this year together.
They mentioned how it felt to have the old gang all back together, and how they couldn’t wait to get to the College Nationals. You were a bit surprised at how focused and intense all of them looked. However, it was quickly overtaken by pride for your new club.
Once the meeting was over, Kiyoko offered to drive you home, telling you she needed to get changed and she’d meet you back here. Standing near the gym, you lean against a pole and fidget with your phone as you wait for her.
“Hey, LN-chan!” you turned to see Tadashi, panting softly as he ran towards you.
“Oh, hey, Yamaguchi!” you say happily, “I had totally forgotten you played Volleyball. I was surprised to see you,” you tell him.
“Same! I had no idea you knew Shimizu-senpai!” he said, nervously fidgeting with his bag. He seemed to be unsure what to say.
“Hey, should we exchange emails?” you ask, holding out your phone and opening it, ready to exchange information. His face lights up and he nods, tapping his phone against yours as the information transfers. Looking up, you see the tall blond behind him, staring at you, your eyes widening a bit, “Do.. you want to, too?” you wonder, tilting your head.
“Tch, no,” he snaps, his head quickly turning away as he begins to stride off.
“S-Sorry about Tsukki! Let’s h-hang out later,” Tadashi stutters out nervously before running off after his giant friend.
“What’s his problem?” you grumble.
“He’ll need to warm up to you,” a deep voice you recognize as Kageyama, standing there near the door.
“Oh, hey Kageyama,” you say, blinking in surprise.
“Can I get your info, too?!” you hear, your eyes landing on Hinata as he pops out from behind Kageyama. Where had he come from? But, you smile and nod, tapping your phone against his as the information transfers and saves. “T-Thanks!” he says, his eyes sparkling and wide.
“M-Me too!” Kageyama says, his voice stiff and formal, even if you are the same age.
“Us too!” “Yeah don’t leave out your senpai!” Tanaka and Nishinoya come around the corner, the two of them holding out their phones as they jog towards you.
After exchanging with them, Kiyoko comes back, and you finally make your leave with Kiyoko. With lots of waves and enthusiastic goodbyes.
Once in her car, she tells you a bit more about the boys and what the team is striving for as she drives you home, and you take all of it in, excited and nervous for everything that this new opportunity would bring.

before i watch some shit i gotta know how the story ends. if not, ima critically analyze the whole movie until i figures it... it usually takes me 30 minutes to figure out the whole plot but that’s besides the point. knowing the ending of a movie allows me to pay attention to alll the little things leading up to the end. the directors choice in lighting, the way that certain actor did a certain movement to portray a certain feeling, setting, like camera work, basically everything i just the last 4 years of my life studying get applied to my enjoyment of a film.
I wish life was like that... you get to like google how it all ends for you. like what will happen in your life all the way to the end. you can always have what you envisioned for yourself, your plan, your schedule of things but then life has a funny way of letting you know that shit happens. and you learn whatever it is you need to from that incident, apply the lesson, and keep going. it’s actually pretty simple. like looking both ways before you cross the street and still almost getting hit by a car because a person felt the need to speed thru an intersection because maybe he had a family emergency or he had too much to drink. regardless life will thro curveballs, ain’t that fucked up? like bitch. lemme read my book of life so i can move accordingly. but i guess that’s not fun anyways because God would just tell us what to do and there would be no free will. and we all know how people hate being told what to do with there life from a higher up lmao
....but idk none of this shit really applies to me. I guess I’ll just share my testimony here since I'm only people who really give a fuck about me would give a fuck about this post. ( Which i recently found out is ME, i’m the only person who opinions/decisons matter when it comes to me life)
SO HERE IT GOES
Since a child, I always knew i was going to be a very wealthy person. I’m smarter than my peers, i’m stronger than my peers, and way more wiser than most of people i meet. It’s very rare I met a person who’s intellect is as diverse as mine in terms of emotional knowledge and regular book smart shit. Like i’m sort of a hood intellectual, but like different because my Dad is a foreigner who comes from i guess what you would call a decent background, My grandfather was an engineer in Germany lmao. Like wtf. That’s very hard to do. Them mfs got some history of disrcrimnation if you know what I mean. And another ancestor of mine on my father side was adopted by the priest of a missionary because he was so smart, hence why my last name has french origins. and you know what i found out this year during my research dives on the different religions in the world..
There is a Saint in the catholic religion named St. Malo and his birthday is the same birthday as mine. He’s french as well. LMAO SO like i said I AM BUILT DIFFERENT. But that’s not what i really wanted to go talk about so let’s talk about how I’ve always knew I am dying a extremely rich woman. First of my name type shit.
So yeah.
I LOVE PERFORMING AND PUTTING ON A SHOW OKAY! SINCE BIRTH!
I’m not even dramatic. I remember dancing in front of my family all the time.   Ask my auntie teena and she’d tell ya I would dance in front of anybody at any place in a drop of a dime. There’s literal footage of me dancing at every function at BayBay (Vivian) house. Lmao I still dance with all my family members at the bbqs I attend. Dancing really is my shit.
 Singing is too.
I remember going to church with my daddy, some spot in LA/ the Jamaican jawn with uncle Jerry, and singing “Because of who you are” in front of everybody. No fucks given, And i kid you not I felt the holy ghost. That’s the best feeling in the world. Happened to me a couple times but I’ll tell ya bout it later some day when it matters. i remember one time coming home and singing and HITTING THAT HIGH PITCH ASS MARIAH CAREY NOTE! ( we got the same birthday too)
and i always loved music. the only time i didn’t cry was in my daddy cars listening to the reggae and bass booming thru the fucking trunk.
During school I remember performing all the time. School plays, I got the lead role. School assembly, I’m putting on a show. Shit even for my 5th graduation I choreographed the whole MJ we are the world dance routine. Lol for hispanic heritage month I always was the girl who had the authentic skirt for the folklore dance. it was black and red. Very pretty. Mrs. Sanchez was enamored with me girl. She was like your the star you gone be centerstage in the middle only black girl while everyone else wonder why your on stage lmao. We were so good we entered a competition and got a trophy.
Basketball was fun. I do not like team sports so that ain’t work out. Plus i think i suck. Well I couldn’t have been that bad because in middle school I made the All City team. I didn’t play because my hair wasn’t done I kept the jersey though LMAO. They was hot. HS was whatever. Lowkey only did it because of the niggas and cheer was boring/got too intense for me. I had commitment issues back then like crazy lmao.
Track was fun too. Made championships when I ran. Heart really wasn’t into to it if I’m keeping it G-Real. Didn’t fuck with the track meets plus the girls on the team hated me. I was always with the guys but the weren’t like the guys i hung out with all the time. them niggas was squares, homeschooled and all that. i hung out with delinquents lmao. Shit they always more fun. I know why Jesus hung out with the sinners mmkay. They loyal and know how to have a good time.
In middle school, I won a poetry contest about this poem I had about being a tree and not falling despite what happens. I also got like  award for being the top 3% of scoring in the whole district a couple times. Moms got me a iPod touch lmao.
High school ASB President, got accepted into more than 20+ colleges, in AVID. Cheer team. Basketball team. My drama Teacher, Mrs. Borek called me the baby Viola Davis. I directed and produced my own play lol. Boy, when I graduated I was on stage with admin and faculty.
But anyways overall,
I’ve always been the cream of the crop in any arena I apply myself. And I’ve never ever experienced a situation where I’ve been down bad that I didn’t plot and maneuver my way out of it (besides the shit that happened this year 2020 but i’ll give my 2020 review later ). I’m continuously blessed. Even when  I shouldn’t be.
In elementary, I could’ve caught a case because I punched this boy in the head and he hit the tetherball pole then the floor. Buddy was knotted up lmao
In elementary school during after school day care I banged this girl head on the table and a pole lmao.
In the carmelitos i gave this girl the business at auntie meanies house. Abri said beat her ass so I did. Trust me daddy, I’m always on go lmao. Her family was from some type of hood. They ain’t retaliate.
Middle school I was beating boys up after school never got in trouble. LMAO None of the girls wanted to fight with they scary ass.
High school I did the dumbest shit freshman year but didn’t get suspended. \bro i’m tired. i’ll tell the rest later.  but closing statement life’s a gamble for people who don’ t know the code. once you figure out your role play to the best of your ability and pray to God to constantly look out for you. *  4:48

You Can’t Run From This (Logan Sanders x FTM!Reader)
Request?: Yep!
Requested by who?: @infinityonthot
AU: Human/High School AU
Characters: Logan, Roman, Patton, and Virgil Sanders, FtM!Reader
Warnings: lots and lots of angst, cursing, mentions of a mini panic attack, NOT A HAPPY ENDING, a flashback in which the birth name of the reader is used. Also, kind of unedited?
Words: 2,871
A/N: I listened to “Runaway” by Against the Current while writing this. It doesn't fit the story 100% but it's pretty close. Give it a quick listen!
(Also, fun fact, but my HS did Almost, Maine (which I mention in this story) my Junior year and I played Marci)
---
Logan Sanders was the smartest dumb ass you'd ever met, and he was your best friend. Logan had always been good with numbers, and with science, and with his writing, but when it came to social interactions the boy was a dud. Maybe that was what attracted you to him. You'd always been attracted to the awkward, nerdy type. Logan fit that perfectly.
You'd met Logan back in elementary school along with his twin brothers, Patton, Roman, and Virgil (you'd never meet quadruplets before so your head spun the first time you saw the four of them together in the same room).
Roman had always been too loud for your taste. You enjoyed his enthusiasm to a certain extent, but the boy never ran out of energy. It was as if he siphoned it out of you and into himself, because the tireder you got the more energy he had for himself.
Patton was an absolute sweetheart, so much so that he seemed to give you cavities every time you talked. And as much as you enjoyed his company, the two of you were never close. Patton was stuck to Roman's side like glue. The two would come up with the most imaginative stories. The kind that only had happy endings, which you weren't too fond of. You'd tried to tell them that not every story has a happy ending, but the puppy dog eyes Patton gave you (and the smug one from Roman) stopped you.
Virgil was a mystery for many years. In elementary school he never spoke to anyone except his siblings, and it was always in a quiet, secretive tone. Even after you'd been friends with his brothers for three years he hadn't said more than a handful of words to you (most of those words being “sorry” or “hi”). You didn't have your first real conversation with the introvert until your freshman year, where the two of you had been put into the same PE class. You had to talk him through a mini attack when he realized he'd have to wear shorts and no sleeves in front of the whole class. The two of you got pretty close after that, and more often than not Virgil was stuck to your side as if you were one of his brothers.
But of the four brothers, you had always been the closest to Logan. Patton, Roman, and Virgil always stuck together, but you noticed early on that Logan kept to himself. Instead of getting up to play with the others during recess, he sat up against the wall of the classroom to read or do homework. The books he read intrigues you - The Invisible Man, Murder on the Orient Express, Sherlock Holmes. He almost never read the same book for more than a couple of days.
You had approached him one time during recess and plopped on the ground next to him, leaning on his shoulder to get a look at the book.
“What are you-”
“What's an ‘evil eye’?” You'd cut him of, scanning the page he was on.
“What?” He sounded annoyed, and confused, but you were determined.
“It says right here ‘his evil eye’. What about the man's eye is evil?” You frowned.
“Have you never read Edgar Allan Poe?” You shook your head, pigtails flying. You hated when your mom put your hair up. She never did a simple ponytail, she always insisted on pigtails.
“Mommy won't let me. She says they're not for kids my age. But you're reading it. Is it scary?” You kept your eyes on the page.
“No, (birth name).” His short answers frustrated you.
“Can you read it to me?” You sat back, finally looking him in the eyes.
“What?” He was frowning. You didn't like the way he looked when he frowned. You wished he would just smile for once.
“I'm kind of a slow reader. If I try to read it over your shoulder, I won't be able to keep up. But if you read it out loud I'll be at the same part you're at no matter what.”
“Shouldn't you be playing? Like the other kids?” He'd turned back to his book, but you knew he wasn't reading because you. Could see he was looking at you out of the corner of his eye.
“Why? You're not.”
After that day, whenever you got bored of playing with the others, you'd sit with Logan and he would begrudgingly read to you. Your parents were impressed with the way your reading level went from that of a first grader to that of a fifth, but you never told them about the stories Logan read to you, because a lot of them were books your mom told you that you'd have to wait to read until you were older.
Like Frankenstein. You and Logan had constant arguments about who was at fault in the book.
By Sophomore year, the two of you were having reading competitions to see who could finish their book first. More often than not Logan won (though, admittedly, you let him win sometimes).
You enjoyed Logan's company. Even if he had been rather cold when you first met him, Logan had become your most trusted friend. He was the first person you'd told about being transgender, and you were the first person he had told about being gay. You'd assisted him in coming out to his family, and he had comforted you when your mother took the news of your identity as if you'd told her you had stage four cancer.
Your father, on the other hand, had taken you directly to the barber when it was his weekend (your parents divorced when you were young, and your father got the weekends) to get your long hair chopped off. Your mother had been furious.
That was Freshman year, and though she didn't like it, your mother eventually “came to terms”, as she called it, with you being a boy. She tried, albeit not very hard, to remember to call you by (name), though the slip ups she made were frequent.
You couldn't wait to move out to live with your dad.
Or with Logan.
The two of you had discussed moving in together for a while, maybe inviting Virgil to join you. Logan had mapped it all out, and the idea excited you. As much as you loved your father, you wanted the kind of freedom that came from living away from your parents. Not to mention you had a major crush on the nerdy boy, and living with him would bring you happiness you'd never had at home.
From what you could tell, Logan liked you too. Despite his usual distaste for human contact he had no problem with you leaning on him while the two of you read in silence, or when you held his hand when at the mall so you wouldn't get lost in the large crowds. He didn't yell at you when you mused his hair or when you jokingly pinched his cheeks. He would always tell you if you were about to go to far, or if he wasn't in the mood for contact, and you respected that.
It was Junior year the first time someone asked if the two of you were dating. You were having lunch with Patton and his small group of friends because Logan had decided to have lunch with his Science teacher, and Virgil was home sick with the flu. June, a small brunette with big green eyes whom exclusively wore pastel sweaters and ripped blue jeans had been the one to ask.
“Excuse me?”
“You and Logan! You two are adorable together, I was wondering if you were dating.”
“June,” Patton has begun to warn her when you just shook your head, cheeks dusted a light pink as you scooped some leftovers from home into your mouth.
“No,” you told her. “We're not.”
“That's a shame! You two would make, like, the perfect couple.”
“Uh, thanks?”
That wasn't the last time someone asked you.
You'd joined tech crew for the school's production of Almost, Maine, and while you and Chase Kent had been messing with the lights he too asked if you were dating Logan. Apparently he'd seen the way you two looked at each other and “how could you two not be together?”
Another time, it was a girl you barely knew, and then someone you had never even met, but apparently knew Logan from Chess Club. The more people who asked you, the more you realized you wish you could say yes.
There was only a couple problems:
One, even if everyone told you, even if for a while you believed it yourself, you would never be 100% confident that he liked you the way you liked him.
Two, in all the years you'd known him Logan had never once went after someone he was even slightly interested in. At first you thought of it as a blessing, but now it was a curse.
This left you with two options. Tell one of your friends your situation and force them to force you into asking him, or wait a million years to see if Logan would take the first step, both of which you were not keen to try.
Patton had been your biggest supporter in your endeavor to get together with your nerdy best friend. He always encouraged you to “take the leap”.
“I know my brother,” He would say. “And he definitely like-likes you.”
No matter how many times he told you this, you couldn’t bring yourself to fully believe it. You were positive that neither of you were going to make a move.
That was, until that night.
You and Logan had been working over the phone on some math homework you’d been having trouble with, when you had cracked a stupid math-related joke and he drowned in a wave of laughter.
Hearing him laugh caused your heart to swell. At school, hanging out with friends, he was so calm and collected and the most you’d ever get out of him was a small chuckle, a slight smile - but this. This laugh could have brightened up even the darkest of your days.
Then, you felt something you hadn’t felt for a very long time. You felt the pull, the need for him to be yours. A wave of confidence you’d only felt when standing up for your friends against those who threatened them, or when you’d agreed to join the Improv club with Roman.
It was now or never, you told yourself. You’d never be this confident again, not in a million years and a lot of wasted birthday wishes.
“Hey, Logan?” You said, cautious and unsure.
“Yeah?” He’s said as he came off his high.
“You remember that one time, when Patton explained happiness like a puzzle with a million pieces?” You asked him. You remembered it clear as day. You could never get the comparison out of your head.
“I believe so. One of his more poetic moments.”
“You remember how he said that, even if it took someone a long time to find their edge piece, finding it makes life a little more bearable?” You asked.
“Yes, I believe that’s what he said?” Logan sounded confused, and for a moment you were tempted to just say ‘never mind’ and drop the topic.
But not this time.
No.
This time, you took in a deep breath and let your next words spill out.
“Well, I think I found mine.” There was a moment of silence.
“Did you?” He still sounded confused, and panicked wracked your body.
He’s going to reject me.
“Yes.”
“What is it?”
Oh god, oh god, oh god, oh god-
“You.” Silence. A long silence.
“Me?” He finally said, and you couldn’t read anything in his voice.
“Yeah. I, uh… I guess I’ve been trying to tell you this for a while, Lo… I really, uh… I really care about you.”
“I care about you to.” He said, but you could hear the uncertainty in his voice. He didn’t understand. Or maybe he did and he wasn’t going to admit it.
“No, Lo… I... “ You pinched the bridge of your nose.
Just drop it, please just drop it-
“I like you, Lo.” More silence.
“Oh.” Was all he was able to muster out.
“Yeah…”
“I have to go.” He said suddenly, and before you could get another work out he hung up.
That night had been one of the hardest in your life. You spent the majority of the next couple hours crying, and texting Logan with no replies. You texted Patton, who said that Logan hadn’t come out of his room. You texted Virgil, who said he wasn’t opening the door. You even texted Roman, who was apparently out and had no clue about the situation at hand.
When you went to school the next day, you didn’t see Logan. You didn’t have any classes together, but you didn’t see him in the halls or at lunch, and all of his brothers said he was at school.
Every text was ignored, his brothers could never get a word out of him concerning you.
You felt broken.
The longer this went on, the further into depression you fell.
One week became two. You stopped texting him.
Two became three. You stopped asking his brothers about him.
Three became four, and you found comfort in Virgil, Patton, and Roman’s company. They would eat lunch with you, and hang out after school. They filled in the hole Logan had left in your heart friend-wise, but still you continued to hurt. Your dad was worried - hell, your mom was worried. But you would tell them nothing was wrong. Lying about how you felt became second nature.
Then, one day after school you found yourself sitting outside, waiting for your dad to pick you up for your weekend fun, when you heard him.
“(Name)?” You tensed up, the sadness and the anger you’d repressed throughout the day returning. You said nothing. “You okay?” He said, his voice quiet. You nodded slowly.
“I’m fine.” You grumbled, an obvious lie. As he sat beside you, you found yourself scooting away.
“How’d your science project go?” He asked casually. You tugged at the drawstring of your hoodie, eyes searching the road frantically for your dad’s car. Why couldn’t he arrive sooner?
“Fine.” You said, hands finally folding in your lap.
“That’s good. You had a brilliant idea. If you got anything less than an A then your teacher is-” You’re so frustrated you can’t stop yourself from cutting him off.
“Stop.” You tell him.
“What?” You scoff at his confusion, and finally lift your gaze to meet his.
“Just stop. What are you trying to do?” You ask him, biting back your anger.
“I was… I was just trying to have a conversation, (Name).” He said, his tone a mixture of confusion and hurt. But you didn’t feel bad - no, nowhere near. You were livid.
“No, Logan. You’ve been ignoring me for weeks - you don’t just ignore your best friend for weeks and then just start up a casual conversation. Especially not after what I told you.” You tell him, grabbing your bag and standing up. You check your phone, and see a text from your dad that tells you he’s only a couple blocks away.
“(Name), I’m sorry.” Logan said, his voice soft.
“That’s not enough.” You snap, shoving your phone in your pocket. “I’m sorry doesn’t fix what you did.”
“Can’t we just drop it?” He sighs, and it’s like he pokes your anger with a stick. You want to scream at him, so that’s what you do, and you can tell it catches him by surprise.
“No! No, Logan, we can’t! This is not something we can just save for a later date! You can’t run from this!” You tell him, and he stands up too, taken aback.
“I’m not running from anything!” He argues.
“You’re running away from me! I like you, Logan! I have for a very long time, and you have no clue what it took for me to tell you!” You take a moment to breath. “You hurt me, Logan.” You tell him, your voice barely above a whisper. You can see your dad’s car pulling up.
“I never meant to.” He tells you meekly.
“Well you did.” You say, moving away from him. He goes to take your hand, but you pull it away. “Don’t. Please don’t.”
“(Name), I-” He starts, but you can’t bring yourself to listen to him.
“My dad is here. I gotta go.” You tell him, your feet rushing you towards the familiar red truck.
“I’ll text you!” He calls out, but you’re already hauling yourself into the passenger's seat.
“Drive.” You tell your dad. He gives you a worried look, and you know he probably sees Logan standing helpless outside.
“Is everything alright?” You shake your head vigorously, holding back your tears as best ad you could.
“Please, just drive.” You say again. There’s a moment before you feel the car begin to move, and you watch as your best friend fades in the rear view mirror.
It was your turn to run.

This is kind of a long request and you could write them in the same fic but do you think you can write a fic where Jason is given a second chance to play football and the rangers go support him/ Jason wants to give his game jersey for Kimberly to wear. (I don't know if they did this at your Hs but at mine when there was a football game the guys on the football team would give there game jerseys to their gf so they could wear them during school).
“The football season is over,” Jason said.
“It’s just an All-Star Game, a few people who are alumni returnwith the starters and they want you to play a few plays and return to thebench,” Kim said as she took his hand. “It’s all in good fun and they also don’twant to injure your knee more.”
“We still have Ranger powers, we are still rangers,” hesaid.
“You can move out of the way, anticipate and it’s just a fewplays,” she said.
“I’ll go talk with coach,” he said and sighed. “I betterpractice not being made of steel or bronze… I sucked in science.”
“We’re not Superman and Wonder Woman; we’re Power Rangersand you’ll do great,” she said. “Plus I can watch from the bleachers with ourfriends.”
“See you at lunch?” he said.
“Obviously,” she said and kissed his cheek. “Start payingattention in AP Bio, I’m sick of sharing notes.”
***
“Are you sure it’s smart to play in this game?” Trini saidas she ate the terrible school pizza.
“No, but Kim does,” he said as he looked over the dubiousslice.
“So where does she keep your balls?” Zack said between bitesof pizza.
“That’s so crass,” Billy said. “Maybe Jay misses the game.”
“I don’t,” he said. “Well kind of.”
“Prove me wrong,” Zack said as he got up. “I’m done withthis trash. I have to get to chem.”
“Apologize to boss-man,” Trini said.
“Stop calling me that, go to chem and if you guys want toshow up at the game I’d appreciate it.” Jason said, he lost his appetite as Kimcame over and Zack left.
“I’ve never been to a football game,” Billy said.
“I’ll teach you the rules,” Trini said. “I can make itunderstandable.”
“I need to practice faking a hit,” Jason said. “See you atthe ship tonight?”
[Game Day: A WeekLater.]
Jason left the locker room in uniform. People where filinginto their seats. He looked out to see all the seats filling up. Even when hewas at his best; the stadium was never this full. He could feel the energy ofthe crowd. He chewed his lower lip as his heart raced.
He missed this feeling. Jason had never done drugs but hewas sure this was how they felt. The roar of the excited fans made him feelunlike himself. The alumni and starters stood behind them. He looked to thembefore they made their entrance.
“You would have been able to choose any college and youwould have been picked for the NFL, Scott,” coach said as Jason turned to him.
“My future is more important than millions of dollars andsponsorships,” Jason said. “But I’m going to show you what you’re missing outon.”
He heard the announcer; confetti cannons went off as thealumni strided put of the locker room. Jason lead the starting line. The cheerswere infectious and he waved. He was brought back to his former football days.He looked around to see the Rangers cheering him on.
They waited on the field for Stone Canyon. He was nervousbut he remembered the rush that fueled him. The cheering that made him feelunstoppable. He waved at the crowed and they cheered. He looked over to see Kimin a Tiger’s jersey and his friends holding signs.
After the coin toss the teams lined up. Jason felt thethrill of the crowd. He looked around. He could feel the excitement of thecrowd. He yelled out orders to his team. “Blue Fifty-Two, Green Seventy-Five,hike-hike,” he yelled as the ball moved to his hand.
He took hold of it, backed away and looked for his wide receivers. He dodged and weaved before he tossed. Jason wanted to make sure not to use hispowers but it was hard. His throw was held back but he made sure to not be tackledHe was faster on his feet but it wasn’t like he had super speed. The wide receivercaught the football and was tackled but he had made a down so they still hadthe ball.
.They walked forward and he yelled out in code what formationto line up for. He had to call an audible because the Stone Canyon defensecould tell who to cover. He yelled and a few people moved around as he calledfor the ball. He felt the football in his hands and he brought it to his chestas he ran and passed it to his half-back and he ran through the defensive line.Jason felt amazing and he wanted to play the whole game.
“Huddle,” he yelled and his players circled around him. “I’mgoing to pass and we’ll get the first touchdown and I think I’ll sit out for abit and give the other All-Stars some game time.”
Jason ended the quick huddle and they would have to make theplay quick; or their time would be up. He yelled out a few calls and felt theball touch his hands. He went back before he bobbed and weaved as he looked foran open receiver. He saw him and threw. He had seen a guy jump at him and hejumped back like he was hit.
“Touchdown!” the Announcer yelled and it was the first timehe heard the voice.
Jason went to the bench and he saw the Rangers. Kim wassmiling ear to ear as they all waved signs with his number. It was like thefinals of his junior year. He was a superstar then and he was enjoying theformer glory. He limped to the bench and watched the game.
***
As if they were in a cheesy sports movie that he loved; thetwo teams were tied. The third string quarter back was on the field and he wasn’tas good as he had been when he was in high school. The ball went to his handsand he was tackled; his helmet flew off as he crashed into the ground.
“And he will need to return to the locker room and JasonScott will be our last hope,” said the Announcer.
He heard his friends get louder, they stomped and cheered. He grabbed his helmet and faked the limp. The season was over, this game wasfor fun. But his competitive side was trying to jump out. He saw the time andit was only a minute and they had a whole field to get across. The Tigers coulddo it and he would make sure they won.
“Let’s take this one home, boys,” Jason said, “We’re goingto do the play. You know what to do Hawkeye and Damo, keep me safe.”
Jason was pointing and calling out the Tiger’s codes so theother team didn’t know the play. They had a lot of ground to cover and he knewwho could made the play. The All-Star Team lined up and Jason called the snap.He moved around in his pocket as his wide receivers ran down the field. Hedodged a tackle before he tossed the ball and it soured through the air and itwas caught. The wide receiver ran and was tackled ten yards before the redzone. Jason looked up to see Kim.
“I love you,” she mouthed slowly so he could read her lips.
Jason waved his team forward; they only had so much time toget to the first down. He had to admit he put a little bit of Ranger strengthbehind that pass. He yelled out a few more calls after they got into formation. He was a bit further back and the ball flew into his hands. He acted like hewas going to throw it until he saw the open and he ran.
“TOUCHDOWN! TOUCHDOWN ANGEL GROVE WINS! Jason Scott runs theball in for a touchdown with now one second on the clock!”
***
Kim heard whistles as she walked through the halls with hisAll-Star jersey on. A few other girls wore jerseys but she got the mostattention. Jason came over to her and smiled. She kissed him and he kissed herback.
“Told you so,” she said.
“You were right.”

Ahem, scenario with college Kuroo who is in a serious relationship with a girl whom he'd admired ever since he was in highschool, but she was in Miyagi and he lived in tokyo? She leads the national volley team and,on their 7th anniversary, she has a really tough match but she leads her "generation of miracles"to the international tournament. She forgot about their anniversary, so Kuroo is sneaky and gives her a film to watch with all their memories, including him watching from afar in hs? Thank you
thank you for requesting and for your patience! ^‿^
although it was a little confusing to understand, i searched the distance between miyagi and tokyo and its way too long? like it wouldn’t make sense on how they’d even meet or how he’d be able to take pics and videos of her so i had to twist the prompt a little!
i’m sorry if its not what you exactly wanted but i hope you like it!
Kuroo have always felt attracted you, even now, even at college. You never failed to remind him just why and how much he loves you.
Today was your 7th month anniversary and he couldn’t stop remembering the first time you met.
The two of you were in highschool together, both first years, and both loved volleyball with all of your hearts.
It was the boys’ turn in the gym, but they found the girls’ team still practicing. Of course the guys had no problem with waiting for a bit, and watching the girls practice.
“Girls jumping around in shorts and tight shirts? Sign. Me. Up.” almost every guy on the team thought.
Including their captain, him.
He expected anything and everything but to find the girl of his dreams.
He found his eyes following just one girl, you. He couldn’t stop watching you. You were so beautiful, so agile, just utterly amazing. You were so amazing his eyes never left your every move, not that he could help it anyways.
He saw how even your own teammates had to stop a few times and stare at how good you are. No wonder they all looked up to you and respected you.
Right before you headed out of the gym, he stopped you and introduced himself, then wanted to slap himself for not realizing the two of you were in the same class.
You were sweet, and nice. You actually laughed as you told him that the two of you have been in the same class for a month now.
He felt his face red from embarassment, but you just smiled at him and made a joke out of it.
You were beautiful, sweet, nice, funny and you played volleyball.
“Wow.” he thought.
Ever since then, he was determined to make you fall in love with him. He started talking to you more, hanging out with you more, and trying to get to know you more.
You became really good friends along the way, some would even call you best friends.
Although, as much as he loved having you as a friend all this time, he kept finding himself wanting more and that was how he ended up falling in love with you.
He reminisced the first time he told you. It was your last day as third years and the two of you were skipping class. You were talking about random things and making jokes.
He stopped you and looked you in the eyes. His hand almost moved on its own as he lost himself in your eyes, he put a hand on your neck, tilting his face as he pulled you into a sweet passionate kiss.
“I really like you.” he whispered in your ear right before he pulled away to get a better look at your face.
You were blushing, but smiling. “I really like you too.” you said.
“Hohoho, time flies fast!” he thought to himself as he sat on the couch in his apartment and yours.
He was a little sad that you weren’t gonna spend the entire day together today since you were at Miyagi for a match and he had to stay in Tokyo, but nonetheless he couldn’t wait until you were back.
He knew how important this match is for you and he knew just how much playing volleyball meant for you. He always made sure to support you.
One of the reasons as to why he actually fell for you is because of how determined, and hard working you are. You always worked hard at everything and did your best.
Even though you already were amazing enough at volleyball, you never stopped aiming to become better. After all, you weren’t the captain of your team for nothing.
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the door click open. He turned around and saw you walking in.
He quickly ran to you, and hugged you in his arms, carrying you in the process and giving you a twirl.
You laughed as you buried your face into his neck, and inhaled his perfume. It always made you feel calm.
He finally dropped you down with a smile on his face. “How was the match?” he asked.
You sighed and his face turned into a frown. You realized you probably shouldn’t have started with a sigh.
“No no! We didn’t lose. We actually won, but it was a really rough match. Even though our team is known to be one of the best, and we were winning right from the start, the other team just wouldn’t give up.” you chuckled.
“Still, I gotta give it to them, they lasted even longer than expected and didn’t back down even at the end.” you proceeded as you started making your way the couch.
You were exhausted and dumped your entire weight on the couch. You closed your eyes, but not for long. You shot them right open when you remembered.
You had forgotten it was your 7th month anniversary today.
You jumped right up, “Oh my god! Kuroo I am so sorry! I had so much going on today I completely forgot to do anything for our anniversary.” you put a hand on your mouth.
You were freaking out until you saw your boyfriend laughing.
“Uh… You’re not mad?” you asked with a puzzled face.
“Nope. I know how important today’s match was for you, I wasn’t expecting you to be able to remember everything at once. I know you had a lot on your mind. It’s alright, I’m just glad you made it back early.” he walked towards you.
“I love you so much.” you muttered.
“I love you too.” he sat next you, and held you in his arm, kissing your head.
You smiled. You really were lucky to have him. You really hated how this exact match at this exact day had to be in Miyagi, and on your anniversary, but you were grateful he was so understanding.
You know how important college is and you knew he had an important test for today, which is why he couldn’t drive up to watch you play.
You were just so glad to have him at the end of the day no matter what.
“I have a surprise for you.” he smirked.
Your eyes went wide. You knew he always had the best surprises and you hated that. He was always better at getting gifts than you, he always knew exactly you’d like.
You hated just how much you loved his surprises and couldn’t wait to see what he had for you.
You were just about to apologize again for forgetting and not getting him anything when he shushed you with a peck on your lips.
He got up and took the television’s remote. He turned it on and your mouth gasped at what started playing.
It was a video of all the pictures, and memories the two of you had together. It started with your earliest memories, right from high school.
You saw all the pictures he took of you, from where you guys hung out together on break, to where you practiced playing volleyball in the gym, and when you’d making funny faces at him during class.
It was all right there, your greatest and sweetest memories. You didn’t even have any idea when he took some of them, but you were so happy.
You had a habit of crying whenever you got too happy or excited, which is why tears started rolling down your face and you couldn’t stop grinning like a fool.
“Kuroo….. This is…. It’s amazing. I love it so much. I can’t even? How? When? It’s perfect! I’m speechless.” you managed to say between sobs.
He chuckled at how much of a grinning sobbing mess you looked right now, he really didn’t have any idea how someone can still look so cute even with a completely red nose from crying.
He was so relieved and glad to see how much you loved it. He really loved every minute the two of you spent together that he wanted to get a chance to rewatch them, to relive them again.
“Well, I’m not in film major for nothing.” he laughed.

Notes 2 - Feelings
I just got done watching the documentary on Kevyn Aucoin. And I keep shaking my head at all these bystanders who say, “I was too young to understand I could help.” Sorry, but youth should not be used as an excuse. I don’t make excuses. Life happens. If I make a mistake, I own up to it and try to move on.
I WISH I allowed myself to make mistakes as a kid. I had so much pressure put on me after age 6, that I never really had a full childhood. My parents separated when I was in 2nd grade. My sister was still a baby. So in all of my “free time” I usually had to take care of her. Summer, nights/weekends when my mom worked OT, etc...I still resent that a bit.  My mom moved into my great grandmother’s house; me, I went to live with my grandmother. Yes, we didn’t live together for nearly 4-5 years. I had to sleep in the bed with my grandmother or uncle or aunt as there was no other room in the house. The first day I came to live there, my grandmother said, “here are you drawers for your clothes. I’m not gonna baby you. You will be ironing your clothes for school every night.” So I did. There was no option. If I didn’t wake up for the school bus, she left me. From her point of view, she had raised her kids already. So, even though I was a favorite grandchild, I was not going to hold up her life.  I made my cereal in the morning. And when I came home and was alone, i had to cook my own food.(This is the reason I’m a good cook now.) I grew up quick at 7 years old.
But I was already an old soul. I remember the first boy I ever had a crush on. And, when I realized it was a BOY. His name was ryan, he was my friend (sort of). We were playing tag, and there was a moment when both of us locked eyes...he had this look of knowing what I was thinking, then ran fast away. From that moment, we never spoke again. We knew. Without words. We knew. But I hadn’t reached puberty, so I still thought I liked girls too. So, I didn’t dwell on him too long. HA! that ended 2 years later. Yup. At 9 years old in 4th, I met this beautiful boy RJ. took my breathe away and rushed blood to other areas of my body. I was done. I mean, there was a bit of a struggle to figure the whole lust/love thing out. But as a no nonsense kid, it didn’t take me too long. It also helped that RJ was my friend. We always sat by each other in class, talked about music and weird stuff and he was just an all around good person. (I never stopped wanting him through grade school.) I realized again, that I’d never have him. But this didn’t hurt too much...
BUT by 7th grade, I fell in love with the first boy the ever made time stop for me. Julian (btw, I’m using real names because I’m not sharing any of their private info/experiences. They never did anything with me. Also, there is no need to lie.) Julian was SO nice to me. He knew, he told me (sort of) later that he’d known how I felt; they always do. But I could never have him. And it killed me. The first time I saw him...he walk in to Mrs Dickinson’s English class with his friend Joey (hated him) and I was paralyzed. For anyone who remembers 8th grade year, yes. I loved him even though we dated the same girl. (There was a brief moment I thought I was bi. NOPE!lol) So in high school, I was the high school pageant king. His girlfriend was in the female version of the pageant. So, I had to spend time with her and if she won, I’d have to announce and possibly help crown her. This night moved in slow motion. I had to watch her walk across the stage with the boy that made me cry each night through no fault of his or mine. So, when she lost, I was kinda happy. But he came on stage to say hi to me and said I did a good job hosting. I just said “thanks” and ran off stage because tears was beginning, and I didn’t want to break down in front of him.
But of course, the busybody I was, I was on the dance committee in HS (I did everything in HS; student council, dances, prom, car washes, clubs, plays, talent shows, choir, homecoming, EVERYTHING...except sports. But I could have.) So, I was one of the main people planning the Valentine’s day dance (V-day as I now call it.) That night was painful. I spent all day helping the DJ set up, blowing up balloons, hanging streamers, setting up punch, making decisions to help make this dance special for couples...all the while knowing I’d have to go alone. Then like a ton of bricks on my heart, in walks Julian and HER. I hadn’t realized. I was too busy. I should have prepared for this. But, I just didn’t think. I couldn’t leave though. This was my event! I had to see it through and help clean up after. So, I dance the big group dances and showed of my skills on some of the other hip hop songs (you think I can dance NOW, shoulda seen me as a teen lol) and kept my bench warm near the punch bowl. This is where I first realized that there may not be anyone for me. Senior, in high school, never been kissed, never been on a date, planning the dances/prom but never asked to go. I felt so alone. To the point I told my best friend that I didn’t want to go to the prom. Her response, “Ummm...didnt you help plan it?? I respect whatever you chose, I respect. But I think you’ll regret it if you don’t go to your senior prom with your friends.” I went. hated every moment of it. But back to love, there were crushes throughout my life, but I have always known the difference between lust, infatuation and love. I loved him. And til this day, I always will. But like the little adult I was, I graduated and tried to let it go. Now he’s married. And still trying to get my first boyfriend.
But constantly I’m being told I’m not worth it. Guys just fuck me and ghost me. I’m all good if you tell me it’s just sex. But don’t say you want to see me, take me out, date me, cuddle me, etc and then hurt me when I believe you. I don’t get that. You can’t say ur single but post pics of you and another guy “chillin” then say you two aren’t dating “exactly.” I had only loved 3 guys in my life. Julian, Josh, Paul...and then he comes along right when I thought I could be done with love. Now I’ve fallen for someone who messaged me everyday for WEEKS, said he missed me, and then just over night flipped the script. Awesome. So, I’m in pain. My heart has been hurting for a month and there is nothing I can do about it. My dear friend invited me to Boxers last week and almost started crying at the bar during DRAG RACE. Yeah, real attractive... When I love, I love for real. It doesn’t take me long. So, I understand when everyone THINKS i’m just infatuated but I’m here to tell you all, I’m not. I have hook ups; I flirt; I fantasize; I’ve even tried the fuckbuddy thing. I can compartmentalize like NO OTHER. So when my heart says, “he’s it!” I know it’s real. Sadly, it’s never reciprocated. So it leaves me thinking that all I have worth anything is momentary feelings and body. No guy wants my love. My love isn’t just feelings. It’s all encompassing. I give my time, my body, my trust, my shoulder, my loyalty, my everything.  But what do I get from them (in the short time I have their attention)?
Nothing more than feelings.

Q&A with NH Legend XC Coach Art Demers
Entering my fourth season as BPS XC Head Coach I am fortunate that I have an opportunity to pick the brains of some of the best coaches in the region, I am very fortunate for them to share their wisdom, experiences and stories. Today I got to pick the brains of Coach Art Demers New Hampshire Hall of Fame Legend
DATG: Coach when did you start running ?
Art Demers: I started running in 1973 when I was a freshman in high school. I was walking home from school on the first day of the school year and I saw a group of kids running past me. I turned around and headed back to the high school and saw this man standing in front of the school with a clipboard and a stop watch. I asked him if he was associated with the group that was running. He said, "yes". I asked him if I could join the team. The next afternoon I showed with my black hitop basketball sneakers and I was on the cross country team. One week later still wearing my black hitop basketball sneakers won my first race and the team won the first varsity win in all sports at Pelham (NH) High School. I was hooked. It did take me three meets legendary NH Cross Country Coach Larry Martin saw me in a race and told my coach to have me buy running shoes!
DATG: How many years have you been involved in the running community including your running and coaching years ?
Art Demers: I ran 4 years of cross country at Pelham at Pelham HS. Pelham did not have indoor or outdoor track. I was able to run indoors my senior year.
I then went to Plymouth University for two years. They dropped the indoor and outdoor programs in my sophomore year. So I transferred to UMASS Lowell my Junior year. I wish I had gone there from the start. I am not sure why I did not. The coach there, George Davis assumed I was coming my freshman year. I loved UMass Lowell, the academics, the athletics, and social atmosphere.
I developed as a runner at UMass Lowell. I spent three years at Lowell. I graduated with a double major of economics/political science. My coach suggested that I should become a teacher and a coach at all places Nashua High School!. I said I had other plans, my father and coach thought I was insane when I announced that I planned on joining the Peace Corps.
I joined the Peace Corps and served my two years in the Marshall Islands, but I surprised everyone and extended for another year and a half. I met my wife at the going away party and I extended my original two years.
When my three and a half years were over. Jane and I moved back to the United States in 1987. We both went back to school and both earned teaching degrees. During that time, I became the UMass Lowell assistant cross country/track coach for two years. I also became the Greater Lowell Road Runners assistant for the next seven years.
In 1995, I was going for my second master's degree and I ran into a man who asked me if I had some time to work with his son. I talked with his HS coach at my Alma Marta if he needed my assistance. He was new to coaching and welcomed my assistance. I worked with his team that fall and they showed some success. We were able to get indoor and outdoor track that year. At the end of the first indoor season the coach left the school district and the program fell on my lap.
DATG: How many team titles in NH do you have ?
Art Demers: I won seven Class M/S titles at Pelham HS. The Pelham Boys and Girls won the first State titles in Pelham High School History in any sports. They also had 4 runner-up titles. They also had many individual state champs in cross country as well as track.considering I was not teaching and I was working a job where I got out at 4:30 pm.
I left Pelham in 2001 when I got a job teaching at Nashua High School. I coached at cross town rival Bishop Guertin HS in 2003. We tied for second at the NHIAA Division One meet, but our sixth runner was a few places behind the eventual second place team. This is a great reminder, how important your sixth and seventh runner can be. A former runner of mine at Pelham HS took over the BG program when I was offered the Head Cross Country program at Nashua South program. I coached a team that was now divided. Nashua High became Nashua South and Nashua North.
We went from a dwindled team to Division One Champions in 2008. I am very proud of that team. It was the first team at Nashua High South to win a Division One Championships since the split and the first Boy's Cross Country Championship in the city since 1984. More impressive was I had the five fastest boys in Division One ever to run on the Derryfield course in NH. Two of the boys were 25 minute 5k runners when they were freshman and sophomores. Never give up on a kid.
DATG: How many schools have you coached at ?
Art Demers: Pelham, Bishop Guertan HS, Nashua South High School, and Alvirne HS. Plus Nashua PAL (USATF)
DATG: What kind of attributes and intangibles where you looking for in your captains ?
Art Demers: A love for the sport is one I feel is important. Another who has questions about the sport and my coaching, and understands his teammates ups and downs. I feel a good captain can listen and speak for his teammates. As a coach I do want to know about the lives of every athlete I coach. How is school going? Social life? Family life? Do they have any injuries they are hiding? I do not want a snitch, but extra eyes and ears that benefit the athletes and myself. Sometimes an athlete will tell me direct, or I over heard it when I ran with them but a good captain also keeps a coach informed of any problems an athlete is having on and off the team.
DATG: To build a successful program what does it take ?
Art Demers: Enthusiasm and getting athletes to believe. I remember a kid at Pelham saying to me, "We're from Pelham, we do not win anything."  The next year we placed second in the division championships losing by 2 pts and then the next year we won. This same kid went on to a very successful collegiate career and then became a phenomenal coach and his team went on to win NH State Championships.
Getting kids to believe that they can. I have kids who told me that they were going to win state championships and I am thinking what planet are you from? And they went out and did it. I had one girl who never won a race in her life, win the Division Three Cross Country title and ran so hard, she did not even remember it.
You have to believe in yourself, your coach, and your team to achieve your goals. I have so many memories of kids believing in themselves and teammates.
I also remember the fun they had. Spaghetti dinners, mini golf, hanging out and building wonderful friendships. Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors all taken care of each other.
DATG: Does Sports and politics coincide ?
Art Demers: Yes, sport and politics coincide. Good coaches have to stand up for their teams. The cross country and track teams are on the same level as all other programs in the school. Some schools put cross country on a lower level than other sports. The coaching staff as well as student athletes, and their families have got to make their sport an equal program in their school and community.
While coaching at Pelham, the student athletes and families pushed the school district and community to build a track complex and sure enough the town and a generous donation from an incredible man's donation built the Harris Family Track.
And at Alvirne HS, the student athletes and their families led the effort to resurface and renovate the Hudson HS Track two years ago.
DATG: How was your experience in the Peace Corps ?
Art Demers: Loved every minute of it. For the first two years I spent two years on the island of Lib. Marshall Islands. No electricity, running water, no radio communication with the outside world. The boat came every five months with the mail. I did little running on this island. It was only one third square mile. I ran but not as much as I would like.
At the going away party, I met my future wife and stayed in the Peace Corps for another year and a half.  I taught school and also worked on developing a local government on the outer island. In my third year I taught a few classes at the Community College of Micronesia. I also worked with the Marshall Islands Department of Interior  and Outer Island Affairs, working on a handbook for running local governments.
I always wanted to give back to the country and in the early eighties the military was not hiring or at least not in the areas I was interested in.
DATG: What was the feeling to see your son Phil grow as a rising runner ?
Art Demers: When Phil was three I knew we had to get Phil involved in sports. He had so much energy and needed something to do. We enrolled him in gymnastics. From three years old till eighth grade he was a gymnast. He loved it. He would train three hours a day three days a week. He would then compete on weekends. One day on the way home from the Eastern Gymnastics Championships, Phil told me he decided not to do gymnastics anymore. I told him that was fine, but he needed to find another activity to get involved in. I said physical activity, not playing video games. He said, I think I will try running. I really have to thank all the people I coached through the years as well as the people from Camp Foss. Phil has gone there since he was three or four. Walking Mr. Maloney's dog, listening to guest speakers, staying in cabins with or without me in there. He has seen people who love the sport.
I am proud of Phil's accomplishments on and off the course and track. He is now running for UMass Lowell where I ran. He is having a blast running and studying Public Health.
He is also a NH certified official. I think he is the youngest in the organization. He also understands the sport. He is an integral part of setting up the NHIAA Meet of Champions each year at Nashua South High School. He and I have been setting up the course since he was in junior high. We know every landmark in the Nashua South course. If he decided to become a Coach or teacher I think he would be great. Whatever he does, he will do well.
DATG: What does the future behold for the legend ?
Art Demers: Hmm that is a tough question. I still have one or two bad days a week. I wish I knew when they were going to occur. For your readers, I had T-10 tumor that left me with parapalegia in 2012, I cannot walk without hand canes or a walker. I use a wheelchair for most of my day. Since the removal of the tumor I have had a stroke, a blood transfusion, spinal menengitis and continuing bouts of UTI'S.
I had to retire as a coach and teacher, but as soon as I can get healthy I would love to return to full time coaching and possibly teaching.
I will stay involved with the NHIAA Cross Country Committee as well as putting on the NHIAA Meet of Champions as well as the Battle of the Border.
I will continue officiating for the New Hampshire Track and Field Officials
