Spoilers for Sun and Moon show!

I haven't been watching the show fully, but I like to keep tabs as to what's going on and... I don't even know what to say.

Is it wrong that I find the image of Monty cracking Eclipse's faceplate in half, twisting his limbs until they snap off, ripping out wires and many other parts from his body and just generally mauling him... immensely satisfying?

I think it's the horror-and-gore-story lover part of me talking right now. I know that's impossible to rip him apart in VR chat, but BOY would I love to see it.

If I could choose a fitting punishment for Eclipse when he finally loses, it'd be forcing him to experience every single instance of fear, pain, grief, rage, and mental distress that he has caused for everyone he's tormented.

Just have him locked away in a bunker with him not knowing if anybody is going to come back. Turn off his physical capabilities so he can't get away and download the collected memories (the lore videos) into him. Make him lie there, alone, seeing all that we've seen from Sun, Moon, Lunar, and everyone else involved, and FEELING EVERY TINY DROP OF WHAT. HE. CAUSED.

I'd imagine he'd be kind of like this:

Sometimes I listen to canon Gabriel quotes to imagine it as Centiclipse and this one reminded me of a silly dynamic between him and Lunara I've rotated for a while but never rlly posted about. so here's a silly video abt it LMAO

Now, Lord Eclipse looms over Lunara as he flexes his hands angrily, the text in all caps covers up the drawing at the bottom of the screen as he full-on shouts: "You're unsettling!" The screen shakes with the emphasis. The final frame is a much simpler doodle of Lord Eclipse standing beside Lunara to point at a small, sad looking Servant Sun off the side and saying: "and you're scaring the hoes." Not in the audio but said by Lunara is a simple "blehhh :3". End ID.]

I'm normally one to not worry so much about the quality of writing with these shows because to me they've always just been "the dumbass fnaf rp /aff". But. What the hell is this character assasination.

The fuck do you mean Moon suddenly doesn't care anymore. The fuck do you mean he's okay with killing Earth.

Really?? After EVERYTHING. Everything he's done to keep his family safe and make them happy. All the character development he's gone through. All his struggles with trying to prove he's better than the old him.

He's just suddenly.

A cold-hearted villain. That's it.

I'd actually be on board with this if it weren't for the way they're seemingly doing everything in their power to just turn Moon into an irredeemable asshole- There were some really interesting lines in "Moon KILLS EVERYONE" that make so much sense, like when Moon mentioned everyone getting in his way to stop him from doing things when he just wanted to do something, and now he's decided "fine, I'll BE selfish then for once" for example. I really like that as a motivation, but why would he just stop caring for his family?? I would've been on board if it was something like how I thought it was going originally, that he's convinced this is the only way to bring Solar back, if he can just do this then everything will be okay again. He knows this is bad but it's the only way, right? He doesn't want to do this, doesn't want to hurt his family and tear his relationship with them apart, but it'll all be worth it. Maybe this is selfish, but he needs to do it. Maybe they won't forgive him, maybe Solar will hate him too, but at least he'll be alive, right? So long as they're all alive and well, he can live with that. And then the others are fighting back because they don't want Moon to go down this path, they don't want to lose him, too. We can find another way, please just stop.

As it stands it just kinda feels like they're forcing things in a specific direction in order to justify whatever resolution they have planned, which at this stage seems to be bringing the Old Moon back. And honestly, bringing back the Old Moon is a fascinating concept to me, it would be so interesting to see how that would go- how would he react to everything that's happened in the time he missed, how would he interact with Sun, how would Sun interact with him now that he's started coming to terms with how toxic their relationship had been. But at the expense of whatever the hell they're doing to the New Moon? Not worth it to me.

I also have a lot of feelings about the way Earth just COMPLETELY decided "oh okay screw you then" with barely a hint of actively wanting her brother back- like come on you're telling me that when the Creator betrayed her she struggles to come to terms with it for weeks, but with Moon she gives up just like that??? But I. Honestly barely even have the energy anymore.

Why. Just why.

After revisiting your "came back wrong" comic, absolutely wonderful btw, I came to a rather haunting realization.

Because it became true. But instead of Bloodmoon, it's Eclipse. And that's both much worse(for the characters), and much better(for the narrative).

Because both him and Lunar went through the same, and in a way seem to parallel each other, though that's probably me overthinking.

Both of them died. Both of them were blown to smithereens. Both of them came back after several months. Both found themselves in a body not their own. We've seen what they look like in every other universe.

Both of them came back wrong.

Lunar came back numb, quieter than before, with all their energy being a play. He came back running from unknown danger. They died a normal animatronic, and came back being more.

Eclipse is the opposite. He came back louder, erratic, full of madness. Where Lunar is running from unknown danger, he is sprinting towards it, not realizing the consequences until it's to late. Not to forget the star. Eclipse died being somewhat of a god, and came back as nothing more than a plaything, a puppet on a string.

In a twist of fate, they can relate best to each other now, and that might be the worst part for both of them.

Because what is there to do? Even though they understand, even though, one day, they might glance at each other and wonder "Do you feel the same?", they will never be able to confide in each other. Their relationship is beyond repair, and for good reason. Eclipse hurt Lunar, used and ab*sed him, and then blew him up.

This also opens up so much emotional baggage. What will Lunar think? Will he wonder "Do you regret what you did now, knowing how it felt?" Will a part of him feel the smallest bit of satisfaction? Will they ever be able to look at him at all, or will they forever hide away?

What about Eclipse? Will he feel guilty? He seems aware of the damage he has caused the celestial twins, even telling Ruin that he deserves what's coming for him, but he still showed no remorse when he talked to them.

I'm sorry this got so long, I am incredibly emotional about this right now, and I can't even begin to describe, how this makes me feel-
