The phone’s got a small crack in the screen from when Cheka dropped it but it wasn’t a big deal so Leona never bothered to get it fixed or replaced.

His phone is in pretty good condition.

Though, he’s got a few spots of soil trapped between his screen protector and the end of his phone case.

There’s only like a single, tiny crack on his screen protector for dropping it on the floor face first when in the Botanical Garden talking to his little plants.

Can’t really blame him since he looks up tutorials when handling new spores. His phone case is transparent with (you guessed it) a pattern of little mushrooms littered on the back.

His wallpaper is a pic of him and Floyd when they were in their first year at NRC. It’s a strangely cute phone for someone as shady as Jade.

Floyd’s pretty diverse with his phone case and he changes it depending on how he feels that day. Most of the time, he goes for his pale green one with an eel drawing on it, like the bag he used during the Camp Vargas event.

・more friends — so many people that were in my grade and class last year that I didn’t talk to became my friends. My overall friend circle grew bigger

・more guy friends — most of my friends were girls which I love but I wanted to have some guy friends too and I got some 🤭 many of them added me to their close friends on Instagram and we hung out a lot during school (low key miss them)

・multiple people having a crush on me — I don’t know how to word this without it sounding weird but yeah😭. I had 4 dudes tell me they had a crush on me and they were low key attractive but my parents are kinda strict so no boyfriend for me (yet)

・my teachers liking me / being one of their favourite student — one of my teacher boosted my grade on my final report card, I didn’t even do any work that could give me extra credit.

(Pro tip : always be nice to your teachers like it’s so beneficial on the long run. Even when they’re low key assholes don’t hold a grudge)

・my anxiety whenever I have to present a presentation or speak out loud — I used to be so scared whenever I had to make a speech or just talk in front of people at school but I my fear went down. I’m still kinda nervous but so many subliminals helped me get over it.

Am I the only one to think Natasha is very rich woman if not a billionaire even though she never shows that to anyone not even Clint knows the extent of her riches and uses conveniently Stark's resources. After she starts dating wanda, she would secretly change stark issued credit card for wanda by hers bc she doesn't want her partner to use another person's money, she would drown wanda with expensive jewelry and gifts even though wanda is a simple girl, she would buy anything wanda so much so mentions in a fleeting moment with over the top amounts. Her actions bother wanda in a loving way so she complains about it to Sam or Steve one day, they would be surprised bc nat never used Stark's money to that extent except maybe for ammunition never for personal stuff, that makes her doubtful so she goes reluctantly to tony asking him to trace nat's spendings but he couldn't find anything suspicious. The expensive gifts continue so one day she decides to confront nat about her suspicions, bc nat immediately noticed tony tracing her ( an excellent hacker herself) she have been meaning to come clear to wanda even though she cherished her secrets, she tells her the secret, Wanda then teases her "so now you're my sugar momma?" and "I can't believe I beat a spy at her game and find out her secret all by myself" Natasha is properly grumpy about the second one. To properly say sorry for keeping things from wanda even though wanda is ok with it, she takes her to one of her secret warehouses that not even Clint knows on a beautiful island, she probably owns in the middle of the night just to mess with the boys.They get up the next morning with no trace of the 2 woman, after a while they start worrying (wanda almost never leaves the compound and if she does she tells Steve bc he's a mother hen). They go on a searching spree thinking of worst scenarios, after a while nat hacks into Tony's system just to mess with him (he really hates when she does that bc he likes to think his system is invincible) telling him "relax shell head we have gone on a vacation", tony retaliates " do you realize you have just given up one of your super secret spy safehouse to me now" knowing her secrets are sacred to her and "how did this island escape me, I am gonna have to talk to pepper, I can't believe she missed this gorgeous island" she replies"I trust you " which she even surprises herself to admit that but bc neither of the two were never good with emotions she deflects "now shut it you incessant radio and stop bothering me, I have got a goddess waiting for me to please, don't you dare do anything stupid, you know I don't threaten vainly" still in the haze of that admittance he replies" yeah yeah go ahead and enjoy your little honeymoon, you will not be missed dracula" He then lets the other boys sit with their worries for a bit and stops vision from telling them bc vision found out too, it's only after tony sees them all gearing up, that he eventually tells them. Sam vowed to retaliate for this prank while Steve was planning on dumping his work on nat.

so the extra screen space on my “new” iphone 13 is cool, and the bigger size means more battery life, but it blows my mind that they are making phones any bigger than this. this is about as large as a phone can be without becoming impractical for anyone who doesn’t have the proportions of a pro basketball player. i have fairly long fingers for a woman and i can’t fully use the phone one-handed; my last phone i could just barely reach every part of the screen with one hand, and on my first iphone i could do it easily… they can’t keep making phones bigger they are just turning into tablets. anyway i guess i’ll take this as an opportunity to cut down on the endless one-handed scroll

I miss IRL streaming. I’m gonna put this rig back to use next week while I have a visitor in town. In my experience, IRL streaming doesn’t have to look bad on a phone. Here’s some nerd shit about IRL streaming and why I have my setup the way that I do.

The standard for IRL these days is a LiveU encoder with a few 4G/5G modems connected to it. The benefit of this setup is not only using multiple connections, but it allows you to max out the quality of the camera you use for IRL. It allows you to use anything from a GoPro to a DSLR / Mirrorless camera for IRL. The liveU takes that camera’s HDMI or SDI output and sends it over the connections of the modems to a destination: typically a server somewhere that is running streaming software like you would at home to stream on Twitch or YouTube. Using this server (IRLToolkit for example) adds the benefit of automatically switching scenes to a "be right back" scene if your internet connection ever dips on the go. While this is the "standard" for IRL, the barrier for entry is pretty steep. The LiveU alone will run you $1k new, maybe $700-$800 used. Then, for it to be even worth the investment, you'd want to bridge at least two modem's connections which can be anywhere north of $40 a month per modem. That intermediate server will also run you a decent amount of money per month. I haven't sworn off the idea of adopting this standard some time in the future but for now, I am running a setup on a phone that has admittedly gotten to the point where I should have just done so ages ago. I use my iPhone 12 pro max for IRL, but on that phone I use an app called Prism to stream to IRLToolkit (just like the big boys do) over RTMP, rather than just streaming directly to twitch from, say, the streamlabs app. The video quality on an iPhone 13 pro max holds up to that of a high quality camera, as long as the right software and tinkering is behind it. The audio codec and noise cancellation on Prism do a good job with keeping the audio crisp, but I've recently made the addition of DJI's new lav mic system. I have yet to test this live, but I have used it just in the iPhone's camera app and it sounds great. Then, there is the gimbal. I am currently running the DJI osmo moblie 5. A lightweight stabilizer is something that even those running the LiveU setup don't have. On the left, I have an old pixel 3 running chat, alerts, and the IRLToolkit dashboard all at the same time. Since this requires very little data, this is doable just with a pay-as-you-go SIM card. Lastly, the box jutting off on the left is a LumeCube that is mounted in a cold shoe mounting block. This is just a small LED panel that I can spin away or toward me to keep my subject lit. Not pictured: I've got a JBL clip speaker to strap to my chest, which runs alerts and TTS (which I get in trouble for in public all the time. Shoutout to the guy who played a TTS out loud while I was in the security line at TwitchCon Amsterdam saying I volunteered for a cavity search). All said and done, the Gimbal costs $140, the extra phone plan costs maybe $30 a month depending on usage. The (unnecessary) mic system is $300. I do have a discount on the intermediate server with IRLToolkit because I know the guy who runs it (sue me - it's normally $120 a month and I won't say what I pay). You could run this same setup on the Prism app to stream directly to Twitch or YouTube, so the intermediate server service can be avoided (at the cost of your stream possibly going down when you lose connection). The upfront cost is really low and the ongoing cost is also relatively low. For someone that wants a better-than-average IRL setup, I think that going down a route like this or similar is something people should explore. It requires the least amount of knowledge for a relatively low amount of money. I say this every time I get a new phone but this time when my two years is up and I’ve paid it off I’m keeping it until it’s no good anymore!!! Or at least until I’ve paid off some other debts so I can save some money from the bill each month.

I didn’t do any Bring It Back plan this time either, so I can keep it at the end of the contract and I also won’t need to worry about any tiny little damage dropping the BiB amount. I’m already worried that they’re not going to give me the full BIB amount from my current phone once they actually get it and check it, if they notice the minuscule scratch it has on the screen. Usually you can’t even see it unless you’re looking for it, but I don’t know how picky they are. Being a phone company they probably look for any reason to not give you the full amount and make you pay it back anyway. If they do deny it and send it back to me and make me pay the $500 I still owe I’ll just sell it. It’s a 13 Pro, I can still get good money for it.

Anyway. I’m getting the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Don’t judge me, I was finally going to get an Android phone but I have an Apple Watch, Apple Music, and still unfortunately use an iMac and MacBook Air for my computers, so whatever I’ll just stay with Apple. 😤 Decided to get the Max finally after never having any of the bigger phones. It’ll be better for playing games and reading on it.

yea i just use my phone!! i have an iphone 13 pro max and the photos are pretty great! i usually edit w the built in editor on it !! i think a huge part of photo composition looking good is alignment/centering/proportions

Trends Come and Go; an Eating Disorder is Forever

Flashback to the year 2007. The year of the first iPhone, Tumblr has just launched, and the skinny epidemic floods Hollywood. Jessica Alba, Victoria Beckham, and "pre-thic" Rihanna were the body types we as a society reached to achieve. Pro-Ana or pro-anorexia support is easily accessible on Tumblr, celebrities flaunt their quick weight shed and in turn teenage girls and boys equate hunger to happiness. The National Eating Disorder Association states that 9% of the population is affected by an Eating Disorder. With most of these symptoms being active from ages 12-25, it is no wonder that Eating Disorders seem to be a typical part of growing up in the United States.

Now we're back in the year 2022. Thick thighs and big butts were only the "hot trend" for a decade before the skinny era began to reemerge. Low rise jeans make a comeback, the Kardashian's shed their BBL's for petite physiques, and pro Ana has made a reappearance online in the form of cutesy diet challenges on tick tock. As we speed backwards in time towards the trend of collar bones and thigh gaps, I watch around me as everything feels all too familiar, like I have been down this dark road before.

In idolizing celebrities like Bella Hadid for existing while thin, are we creating a new generation of individuals who struggle with their appearance because for some reason it isn't enough to just be how you were made? Squats or a procedure to get a large butt one year then starving yourself and chain-smoking cigarettes for a gaunt figure the next year; when will we stop letting trends decide our worth?

Eating Disorders come in all shapes and sizes. Symptoms may begin at age 13, but can stay with you for a lifetime. Failure to eat and provide the body with vitamins while it develops is detrimental. Growth, the digestive and nervous system, and the menstrual cycle are all severely affected when not nurtured.

What started as a community on Tumblr that posted aesthetically pleasing photos of thin girls, turned into shared tips on how to lose weight, turned into a lifetime mending a broken relationship with food. Simple acts like packing myself lunch or eating in a group were things I had to relearn properly in adulthood. Food does not and may not ever come naturally to me, and this is mostly due to my less than savory relationship with it during those formative years.

Our bodies are not a trend, it is the one and only vessel to get us through this lifetime, therefore we need to treat it with respect and thank it for everything it achieves. After all, if we are constantly trying to change ourselves to fit the tabloids, how can we be who we are truly meant to be?

We have seen this road before and some of us have wandered down it. Join me this time in lighting the other paths of self love and acceptance to show our youth that these are options.

Just a note:

I haven’t been able to see all of my followers at all (when I go to my list). or use this app very well. My iPhone isn’t working properly ( I’m on a different one at the moment). I have emailed tumblr but I think it must be my phone.

I usually like to go down the list of my followers whenever I have the time. I don’t see everyone in my feed. I only see the people I’ve most often or most recently interacted with. It has bothered me that I haven’t been able to do this because this is how I get to know people even if we never speak.

It’s also bothers me that I haven’t been able to interact with the new people I have followed or have followed me. I’m not good at memorizing user names. There are only a handful I do remember.

I apologize for not interacting with everyone because I really try to do my best to interact with as many as possible. Otherwise why follow?

I just want you to know that I appreciate all of you, and am not trying to ignore anyone or leave anyone out.
