Twilight

Hey, man, don't judge me. 😐

😂 I can't explain it but, if I'm stressed out, I can put on the first Twilight and just chill. It is what it is. 🤷‍♀️

2. Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Technically, the entire trilogy fits the bill but I've literally seen Fellowship several hundred times by now. I bought the Special Edition DVD set for Fellowship before I even owned a DVD player, lol! I eventually got to the point where I could not only recite the English dialogue, I could recite the Elvish as well. This movie has been burned into my brain and I wouldn't have it any other way. 🤗

3. The Mummy (1999)

I'm not saying I've watched this movie a lot but... well, I wore out my VHS copy. The image literally faded out in places. It's one of the few, if possibly only movies that I own in 3 formats: VHS, DVD and Blu-ray. Considering how much I adore it, I'm floored that I've never actually vidded it yet. Oh well, there's still time; I mean, an Ardeth Bay tribute to "I'm Sexy and I Know It" would totally work, right? 😇

4. Ladyhawke

This one has proved redonkulously hard to find a decent transfer on DVD or Blu-ray, so I haven't seen it in ages. That said, it's another I watched SO many times on VHS and it's definitely one of the formative movies of my life. 😍

5. Beauty and the Beast

I enjoyed the live action version as well but I'll give it to the classic animated version for this reply because I've seen it more. 🤗

6. Godzilla vs Kong

Okay, so is a giant radioactive lizard and a giant gorilla beating the stuffing out of each other supposed to be a comfort movie? Probably not but it's just one I enjoy watching when I want to kinda chillax, so... 🤷‍♀️😂😉

7. Star Wars

Technically, Empire Strikes Back is the one of the original trilogy I tend to default to but I've seen A New Hope and Return of the Jedi a lot as well. Any of them just takes me back to a simpler time as well as reminds me where my love of fictional scoundrels comes from. 😉

a/n: my baby fever came back days ago and went to my moot @mitsuyaya for help on anon (🤷🏻‍♀️😂), to which she concocted this short drabble. It was soooo good (I cried ngl 🙈😅) that I decided to continue it, just like what I did for her househusband!Yuta post. “Mama!”

You both froze in place, with your daughter still in your arms, big child-like eyes looking innocently between you and Kenma. You mimicked her look and stared at your husband, who in return stared at you incredulously with those gold-speckled cat-like eyes of his.

His little girl… Kenma’s little angel… just said ‘Mama’ instead of ‘Dada’. It broke his heart and shattered into pieces. His precious little princess had betrayed him. You won. It was Game Over for him.

Kenma broke the silence first, his jaw clenching for a bit. “What the fuck. Did she just—“

“Language, Kozume!” you scolded him, your hand kind of shielding your daughter’s head away from his sudden swearing. He flinched, making his broad shoulders sag and face lowering even more in the process.

“Mama!” your daughter said it again, answering your husband’s suspicions, this time in a squealing, happier tone. Her pudgy hands then found purchase on your cheeks and started massaging (more like patting) on them. You still stared at Kenma, but seeing him so dejected and lost and heartbroken, your eyes saddened and took pity on him.

You mumbled an ‘I’m sorry’ to him and added anxiously, “I-I’m sure she’ll learn how to say ‘Dada’ next, right, sweetie? Be patient and don’t worry about it, okay, Kenma?” But it was too late for that, as Kenma turned on his feet to go back inside your shared bedroom and slammed the door shut.

You stared at the door your beloved husband went into seconds ago and sighed helplessly, before glancing at your baby daughter who busied herself playing with the collar flap of your blouse.

“Oh, sweetie… now you’ve done and damaged Dada’s XP,” you cooed, wiping drool from the corner of her mouth. The little girl then looked at you and blinked (adorably) a few times, eliciting a giggle and nose boop from you.

She cupped both her tiny hands again on your cheeks. “Mama!”

You nodded in reply. “Yes, baby, I’m your Ma~ma!”

Next, your daughter turned her head a bit, her finger pointing towards where your and Kenma’s bedroom was, and said something surprising to your ears. If only Kenma waited for this moment to come…

“Dada!”

The ‘Dada’ in question was laying on his bedside, his face still scowling and his body curled into a ball. Fingers tightened around his Switch, Kenma jabbed at his game in a pissed-off manner when he heard his phone ringing on top of the lamp desk. He paused his game for a sec before checking the phone screen. He pouted as he sat cross-legged on the bed.

Beep! “What do you want? I’m busy,” your grumpy (and cute) husband answered, his narrowed eyes fixed directly at your bedroom door, where both you and your daughter were sitting nearby, on the floor.

You tried to suppress your bubbling excitement while talking to him and asked, “Are you… are you still mad because of earlier, Ken?”

A moment has passed before a groan was heard on the other line. “I’m not totally mad about it, Y/N. Just… disappointed that I couldn’t make our little girl call me ‘Dada’. I’m so stupid for turning this innocent name calling into a competitive game. I’m also sorry I shouldn’t have sweared in front of her earlier and walked away from you mad. Y/N, I—“

“Dada!”

Kenma’s eyes widened and his heart began beating loudly. Had his hearing fooled him… or did he really hear his little girl’s voice say the magic word?

He gripped his phone a bit tightly. “W-what did you call me?” he asked, his soft voice cracking as tears began to form on his eyes. “Can you repeat that for me, angel?”

“Dada!” Kenma didn’t notice the door open as you both trotted inside the bedroom, hand in hand, your crouched figure leveled with your kid. His lips curled into a smile.

You cupped your husband’s cheek and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. “Surprised?” you asked.

He nodded in response. “But… how—“

“After you’ve walked out from us earlier, she just blurted it while pointing to where you’d gone to. Ma~n, that surprised me too, you know!” You chuckled before feeling something wet from your hand. “Eh? Kenma, are you crying?”

“Shut it, kitten. I’m not.” Your now tear-streaked husband finally ended the call and got himself up from the bed before scooping his little angel up in his arms, hugging her tightly and peppering her face with kisses.

“I love you both, you and our little angel.”

“I love you both, too~”

“Mama! Dada!”

Beep Boop here’s a boy

This is Frost!! And no, not DBS Frost 🥲 I would like to say I had this boy named yEARS before canon Frost ever existed 😂😭🤚🏻 But anyway, ,, thIS Is Frost and he’s the son of Frigid and Kuriza, and fraternal twin brother to @the-blueberry-jellyfish’s Zephyr. He’s a very kind, friendly boy with a very big heart 😂🖤✨ He’s always tried his hardest to be the very bestest brother to Zephyr, always trying to help him out when he can and spend time with him 🥹👉🏻👈🏻 He likes spending time with all of his family tbh, he’s a family man 😂🖤 He also likes to take care of his parents even though they aren’t old LMAO!! He says they’ve done enough for him and he would like to return it 😂🖤 He’s also in a relationship with Lumi (Jelly’s oc), who is deaf. They met as kids and so he learned sign when he was young which made it a lot easier 😂🖤 Now it’s just second nature to him because he uses it like, all day 😂🖤 But they met as kids and have just always been close and it ended up blossoming into a relationship and now they’re grown 🥹🖤 He loves her very very much and also takes very good care of her and spoils her when he can 😂🖤 He also has a couple different universes so his story varies, but in the universes that he remains on Arcos, he’s the one who is the heir and goes on to eventually rule Arcos 🫡 A big job, but I think he’s fit for it 😂🖤 In every universe though, one of his favorite pastimes is singing 😌🖤 He’s also open to trying anything new to see if he likes it and where it takes him 😂🖤✨ He’s just a sweet, friendly boy who is maybe too nice for his own good and I don’t know where he got it from 😂🖤
