"Ya did you hear about that y/n kid? Ya, can't believe someone like them woul be in here with us"

The group over heard barron talking with his friends and stopped when they heard your name

"Ya, why would they even wanna be here? If there so 'famous' and all why wouldn't they idk go somewhere fancy or something?"

Barron and his group laughed for a moment before tyler called out annoyed

"Hey, what the heck are you guys talking about?"

"Ya why are you talking about y/n like that?"

"What do you dorks want? Do you wanna get beat up this time?"

Him and his friends laughed while the twins both stand with there arms crossed, aiden is making sure ben dosent try and hurt them, and ashlen steps up

"Last I remember you where the ones leaving with the most bruises"

"Ya you should've seen yourselfs you looked terrible! Ha ha!"

Barron scoffs crossing his arms

"We asked you a question answer it"

"Where not in class yet nerd im not talking to you for a quiz"

Ben tryes to step forward with his fists clenched but aiden holds him back with the help of Taylor

"Tell is what the hell your saying about y/n barron"

Tyler says steping infront of logen ashlen next to him

"Ugh, fine, there's been rumors about y/n being some undercover singer and she sure as he'll looks like the one from (band name)"

"Oh I've heard of that band they have some pretty good songs"

"Ya I've heard of them to"

They all walk away before he could even reply and taylor searches up the band

"Holy crap he's not wrong it actually looks like y/n!"

"Wait really?"

They all look at the pictures of the bands and it really does look like you so they went to go find you eventually finding you in the music room

"Hey! Y/n! You never said you where a singer!"

"Aiden!"

"How did you figure that out!?"

You ask shocked you where hoping to keep low and not draw to much attention to yourself, ben walks up to you and typing on his phone then showing it to you

"We overheard barron talking about you"

"How did he find out then?!"

"He said there was some rumors"

"I was hoping to lay low here but I guess that's not happening..." you sigh and look down before feeling a hand on tour shoulder

"There just rumors right now you can still lay low"

"Ya, we can figure something out to convince people it's not you"

"Ya! We already fight phantoms every night how hard is stoping a rumer?"

"You'd be suprised-"

"Can we hear one of your songs?"

"Oh! Ya!! Can we?! Can we?!"

You look around at them thinking for a moment as aiden and Taylor look at you excitedly the rest of the group looking some-what curious

hi and hello back!! this is so sweet of you really <33 (yes I'm lost for words and have to resort to punctuation mark hearts)

I'm doing well, two of my shows are back, I watched the netflix one over the weekend and then I have the other show to look forward to every week :) besides my thesis work obviously which is starting properly now, the writing bits and the main experiment phase. it's going smoothly I'd say compared to what I've heard of the previous batch 😬 I'm lucky all our educational institutes made vaccinations mandatory so even if we do go on lockdown for a bit, I'll hopefully be able to do my lab work anyway because it's only a few students and there's like 5 labs in my department so it shouldn't be an issue.

how did analyzing data from your bedroom go?? I do not envy you at ALL. I think stats is just. the bane of my existence. like I've studied what's required in my field. but I just. immediately forget after my exams😬😅 I'm really nervous and not trying to think of it and enjoy the writing bit which is more up my street.

and yes hehe, the ships are ALL OVER THE PLACE one’s going to antartica while one’s going to florida or smth idk. but my goal is to just pull on everyone’s strings with that one since i don’t really plan to focus on the romance that much, it’s really more of a slice of life story with shitty people in the mix or smth. but there wILL be an endgoal boy. the key is that even i don’t know who it is 🥴❓ makes it more unpredictable, no? but it probably won’t be until long. i plan on focusing on every character and give them beautiful developments so that’s how many arcs(?) 😀, probs overambitious here but i’m excited to try and make a longer smau after rushing my previous ones + i have a lot of notes for EHALOJ from when i started planning it a long time ago so i already have a basis for season 2 once i start it in the VERY DISTANT FUTURE.

i made INTEOTW yeji the way she is to make up for the fact that she’s one of the antagonists in this story :,). that’s kind of like my own pattern, i want balance. also hyunjin being gaslit by his own sister 😔💔💔💔.

and also thank you!!! that means a lot. ngl, i feel like i overdo it(??) like, i want villains to be “real people” and not outright “people made to be villains” ifykwim, i don’t want them to be hated because “hey i’m obviously a shitty person!!!” but because they’re complex and not some 2d bond villain. but idk, maybe i didn’t really have a choice with EHALOJ yeji because SHE IS just like that 🤔. hyunjin is in mental turmoil even. probably my favorite “antagonist” moment would have to be dark seungmin in the earliest chapters. but thank you for the compliments, i love writing dialogue, even my editor irl (for my non-tumblr works) always compliments my dialogue dynamic writing so that’s why i stuck to smaus, it’s just dialogue all the time 🤪. i was a bit afraid the EHALOJ might be a bit too dark to garner any attention (bc nobody wants to see their faves antagonized, valid) but i’m glad i took the risk, it was hard to get through but it’s honestly one of my hate-favorite works and i’m glad others seem to enjoy the twists and turns too despite the obvious lack of focus in the romance.

Maybe he would’ve let it slide if you hadn’t said that, if you hadn’t giggled the way you did, if you hadn’t called Seungmin by his pet name-- but you had. He could feel tension boiling in the pit of his stomach, a mix of jealousy and angst at the fact that he couldn’t admit on the spot that your giggle made his heart skip a beat. - INNIE NO. Such a jealous baby 🥺 but I mean how do you react when someone else is making your crush laugh in that special way? It hurts man. Damn tho he really pulled up at the end being all manly and shit.

Moral of the story: This is why I hate love triangles cause there are people who step back to not "ruin" the relationship although its just a cowards way out (that I take constantly like don't get me wrong I ain't coming for nobody) and there will be the ones who act on their own feelings regardless and are seen as "bad" but I mean everyone deserves to be a little slefish because at the end of the day you don't know the crush's feelings. They can like the "coward" or the "selfish" one, y'all just wont know unless you try. Words I say but ya girl ain't never gonna shoot her shot :')
