i have been recently trying new stuff so going out of my usual asoiaf fics i’m working on a no outbreak! joel x hairdresser! oc. the name of this newborn work is “guy next door” and i hope y’all enjoy it <3

“Shit-…” Sarah looked at herself in the mirror as she gasped in disbelief. It happened. She bit her lips in an nervous attempt to think of what to do, with no success. Her white shorts had a red stain right behind her and the girl was all alone while she got ready to play at the pool at a neighbor’s pool party.

Her dad or uncle wasn’t at home, they were probably grabbing beers somewhere before heading back home and walking towards the feast they were supposed to go together. Still, they would be of no help, given the fact that Joel and Tommy were two men with little knowledge about this female situation. Sarah sat in her bathroom nervously crying, because it hurt her stomach. She had no mother to teach her anything about periods. Suddenly, she felt like she had no control of her emotions and body, once she bled like crazy and her womb was cramping hard.

Trying to grasp onto something that could help her, Sarah found some sweater on her basket and put it around her waist, trying to cover the blood stain that seemed to grow throughout her newest shorts. She looked through the window and saw a girl at the house front door, carrying boxes inside. She seemed to be alone there and hopefully she would be nice enough to help her. It had to be her.

“My new white shorts, no…” Sarah put her hands on her face before facing the bloody thing in the mirror, already feeling down and searching for practical ways to solve that issue.

While on the other side of the street, Gia wiped a trace of sweat that rolled onto her face as she finally finished putting the last box of all the boxes inside of her new home, a small guest house within the new property her parents bought at Austin, trying to be closer to her in that delicate moment of her life and attempting to downsize, to have a more quiet life in the suburbs as age got into them.

The heat was scorching and led the girl to think she was closer to the sun, making Gia feel as if that moment lasted close to an eternity. Her hair was disheveled and held on a messy bun, her thighs were glistening of sweat and her new house was a mess, covered by hills of boxes and bubble wrap. Even still, she needed a break and just wanted to take a cold shower before starting to unpack everything and have a quiet night to unwind and relax after a stressful day.

It also felt like a fresh start to her. After a nasty ending of her engagement to Trey, Gia had her heart shattered in a thousand pieces. It’s been hard for her to cope with everything and that’s when the idea of moving from Dallas to Austin came to her parents’ mind. They had been nothing but supportive and she could clung into that after being set aside.

She could never expect life would twist that manner, after all, Gia always envisioned herself marrying herself to him, bearing his children and having the peaceful family he promised her. But as their relationship grew up, he grew apart from her and when she saw, Trey was with another woman and seemingly serious, which caused Gia to feel sad, enraged and jealous. At least, she could have the chance to start over. Maybe it was for the best, is what Gia tries to convince herself all the time.

The boxes were there as a constant reminder of her new beginning and how messy it was. It was still very heated inside her house, even though she made sure to pay for air conditioning in that cruel summer of Texas. She took off her clothes, grabbed any soap she could find in those infinite boxes spread throughout her living room and ran over to the shower, finding some relief under the cold water. Her rinsing hair soaked under the stream made her feel like she weighed 20 pounds lighter.

The strands of sweat were replaced by the scent of soap enveloping her body once she got all cleaned up. No shampoo to wash her hair, once she unfortunately couldn’t find it. Yet, it felt good to finally be able to clean herself before starting to place everything in her new home. Once she left the shower, she heard a knock on her door, a quite incessant knock, being more precisely. She enrolled herself on her towel, feeling the droplets of water on the floor as she made her way to the door, slightly annoyed for having a moment of solitude denied by her parents.

“Mom, I told you I don’t-…” Gia said before opening her door. Once she opened, a surprised look came into her eyes as she saw this girl with a desperate smile, fiddling her fingers anxiously. The kid seemed to be no older than thirteen and as Gia stood in front of Sarah, she stroked a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Oh, hi sweetie?”

“Mm-h-hi… I’m Sarah…” She said and Gia furrowed her eyebrows, nodding at the girl, leaning on her door.

“How can I help you, kiddo?” Gia asked, now crossing her arms.

“I’m having… issues…” Sarah muttered, lowering her head. Gia looked confused before grasping in the air what could be possibly happening to her. Still, she needed to hear from her own mouth.

“Issues?” Gia replied, with a sly smile.

“Yeah…” Sarah bit her lower lip, scoffing. “Girl issues?”

“You got your period, huh?” Gia rolled her eyes and smiled, calmly. “Come here, kiddo. My name is Gia, by the way.”

Hi evansbby, I hope I don’t sound rude because that’s definitely not what I’m going for😊. I’ve been a great fan of your work and love to interact! You’re definitely one of the strongest writers I’ve seen on here and one of the extremely best writers for Chris’ characters. I get sad thinking the fandom may be a bit less than it used to be. Reading marvel fics and fics with Chris’ character was such an emotional support for me when I was stuck at home through the pandemic. It was a reliving outlet for me and I’m sure to others when everything was on lock down. Now that it has been lifted, the Avengers franchise has ended, and Chris’ isn’t playing great characters anymore, perhaps there’s been a bit of a decline of interactions with fandom blogs but there’s still people around loving and reblogging your fic and other’s blogs fics. You put in such great effort and content in your fics! And girl, you’re funny as hell and you have a great sense of humor 💖. I’m beyond lucky the universe made me click on your blog. I mean look at what you share with us! Fics that are 3k words through 14k and more! 🫶🏾! I’ve never seen anything like that in any other blog! Even outside the fandom! You’re so talented and passionate and how I wish to be able to write like you! I wanted to give you perhaps an idea ( that you can definitely ignore), with your chapters or fics that are more than 3k or even greater, you can post them by smaller chapters and you would probably get around 10 chapters or even 30 chapters a series. Perhaps in that way, your followers will read those shorter chapters and share in detail what they like from it and anticipate the next chapter every certain days of the week or whenever it would be best for you. I really hope I did not sound offensive or rude because that is not at all what I wanted, much less do that and spread negativity on your blog. I’m grateful for the time you take from your personal life to create stories to share with the world. And I’m sure you have your own system of posting your stories too so you don’t even have to read this or reply at all. I hope you have a wonderful day and I can’t wait to hate on Andy with you! I’m also sorry that you have to receive asks of when the next chapter of your works are going to be posted next. You have repeatedly implored countless of times to not ask that. Personally, I believe that’s something extremely rude to ask in a blog thats sharing their work and time writing fics for free.

The reason I write super long chapters and fics in general is bc that’s what I personally like to read! And everyone on here is always talking about how you should write exactly what you want to read, so that’s what I do. I personally don’t love shorter chapters where there’s like 30 parts or so bc like… idk it’s just not my preference! Whenever I search for fics on AO3 or wherever, I like the ones that have long chapters bc it just allows for you to get to know the character and to develop the character etc, and makes the smut and emotional moments hit harder! (At least for me! This is a personal opinion, not aiming to criticise shorter fics at all!!)

But like, I want each chapter of my fics to act as a cinematic story which has a beginning, middle and end. So I physically couldn’t just write a 3k word chapter, sorry 😭😭 And I honestly don’t have a lack of feedback AT ALL. Y’all are the best at feedback and it’s always super long and detailed which I think is people’s way of appreciating how my chapters are long and detailed! So I love that too!

I understand that bc my chapters are so long, that they take longer to update. But idk, I would personally rather wait for a longer chapter BUT THAT IS JUST ME 😭😭😭

I know y’all have talked about and called out blogs that have been saying they don’t like CE but spend everyday making posts being nasty to him, but I want to dedicate this one especially to the “tarot readers” in particular who have been doing to same thing, calling him a p… and trying to force their predictions on “how he won’t prosper and won’t meet his FS cause his career is over.”

LOOOOOOOOLLLL! Doing wayyyy too much and speaking over things they know NOTHING ABOUT!!! This man went all the way the WH and stood side by side of POTUS!! Theeeee POTUS and I LOVE IT FOR HIM!!!!

Let this be a lesson to people wishing bad on him or anyone in general (cause I know they read other blogs too), that you are ultimately NOT the divine and have NO POWER OR AUTHORITY over someone’s life nor the ability to bring about a “tower moment,” for them!!! He WILL get out of this mess and the divine union with his FS will take place and no amount of tower readings of doom they “foresee” over him will come to pass and in fact by doing this and trying to force things they will get the VERY SAME KARMA they have been sending over him and others who disagree with their readings. They have been lying, attacking and bullying everyone just as bad as the real blogs and their time will come too! I notice they have been very silent, because they know their s… stinks and time is up for grifting the community and other anons. They and their silly anons will be in for a very rude awakening too, especially since one of them were already exposed for lying to him about having receipts on him which were proven FALSE and a few had to close their blogs down last year! The Universe is GOOD honeyyy and he and his FS were and always will be protected against these people!!!

The universe knows EXACTLY what it is doing, how everything will come together and will do as such without help or the need for anyone who claims to “knows” things and hurt people the in process. A lot of people are going to learn to leave things which they have no business to be in alone and it will be JUST as it should be!!
