Trick or Treat (Male!Yandere x Reader)
A Halloween one-shot for spooky season đ I didn't want it to be too long so it's a little rushed, but here it is. Enjoy!

âAre you sure you donât wanna come to the party with us? I have a spare costume you could borrow that I know you would look great in!â Your roommate asked, adjusting the faux dog ears that were sitting atop her head as she walked into the kitchen.
You pulled a candy bowl out of the cupboard, dumping the sweet treats you had bought earlier today and filling it up to the brim. You smiled politely at her, but shook your head.
âNah, Iâm good. You know parties arenât really my thing. Besides, somebodyâs gotta watch over the house to make sure it doesnât get TPâd or egged or whatever.â
âStill, though, I feel bad leaving you here by yourself. Are you sure youâll be okay?â
âYou sound like such a mom, Mallory,â Your other roommate, Tristan, snarked, coming down the stairs clad in a black cat costume. â(Name)âs been home alone plenty of times before. Theyâre not a kid.â
âI know, but itâs Halloween! The holiday just makes being alone feel more scaryâŚâ
âIâll be fine, Mal,â You sighed, though you were still grateful for her concern.Â
âWe should probably get going now,â Tristan said, checking his phone. âCome on, Mal, letâs go,â Tristan grabbed ahold of her wrist, dragging her out the front door. âDonât have too much fun without us, alright?â He winked at you.
âBye, (Name)! Weâll probably be back around midnight! Call us if you need anything!â
After waving them goodbye, you took a small table and placed the candy bowl on top, leaving it out front with a âtake twoâ sign. You had only bought one bag so if it ran out, it ran out. Locking the door behind you, you made your way upstairs to your bedroom, excitement coursing through your body. You loved your roommates, but there was just something about having the whole house to yourself that made you giddy. A true introvert at heart.
Plopping down on your bed, you turned on your TV, scrolling through streaming sites to decide what to watch. In honor of the holiday, you naturally chose a horror movie, something youâve never seen before but heard good things about. Cuddling up with your favorite plush, you get comfortable as the film starts, ready to experience the same dread and terror alongside the main characters.
That feeling never came however, because you quickly fell asleep not even 30 minutes into the movie. An hour had gone by by the time you woke up, with the credits rolling and the obnoxious sound of the doorbell going off. You stuffed your face into the blanket you were wrapped up in, hoping and waiting for the visitor to go away. The candy bowl was probably empty and some greedy brat was outside demanding for more.
You were forced to jump out of bed and stomp down the stairs when the ringing only continued, followed by loud knocking. Damn entitled kids. You thought bitterly, undoing the locks and yanking the front door back without even checking who was outside first.
âLook, I donât got any more candy, so just-â You barked, but stopped mid-sentence when you were met with a tall figure dressed head to toe in black clothes. He had a hood covering his eyes, with a mask obscuring his nose and mouth. He stood eerily still, staying completely silent, only the sound of his heavy breathing being heard. It felt like an eternity before he said, â...Trick or Treat.â
Your eyes widen, backing up a bit and closing the door enough to shield yourself from him. You definitely were not expecting a grown-ass man to be outside your door asking for treats. Chuckling awkwardly, you stutter, âU-Uhm, sorryâŚwe unfortunately ran out of candyâŚâ
âDarnâŚthatâs too bad,â The manâs voice was husky, but muffled by his mask. âI was really looking forward to having something sweet tonight,â He flipped his hood off before pulling his mask down, giving you a hungry look. âYouâre wrong, though. The sweetest piece of candy is standing right in front of me. I could just devour you in one bite.â
Slamming the door shut, you quickly locked it again, disgust and slight fear taking over you. The audacity he had to just start flirting with you was downright deplorable, the creepiness of it all causing your hair to stand on end. Maybe this could be a prank? A stupid Halloween scare that would rack up millions of views online, with poor you being one of the unfortunate victims.Â
Yeah, thatâs probably what it was. You wouldnât expect any less from this neighborhood, after all. Your heart was still pounding as you tried to convince yourself that it was just a joke, however, and you headed into the kitchen to grab something to drink. A glass of water was needed to calm your nerves.
After gulping down the cool liquid, you searched for a snack to chow down on. Hopefully if you eat something while watching your movie, you wonât fall asleep this time. Deciding on microwave popcorn, you popped a bag in and waited for it to be ready.Â
Only a few seconds went by when you heard tapping on a window. It was coming from the sliding glass door that led out into the backyard. At first, you wanted to believe you were just hearing things, but the next taps were louder and incessant. The last thing you wanted to do was investigate, having had enough fright for one night, so you stayed where you were.
Good thing you did, because immediately after the tapping stopped, came a loud crash. You screamed, watching in horror as you witnessed a brick fly through the glass door, shattering it to pieces. Reflexively, you quickly grabbed a knife from the knife block, just in time to see the man from before casually stalking into your home. He turned to you, an eerie grin on his face as he approached. You pointed your weapon towards him, making sure he kept his distance.
âStay the hell away! The fuckâs your problem, why are you breaking into my house?!â You shouted, putting on your nastiest glare.
He cocked his head to the side, as if he couldnât understand why you were angry. âIsnât it obvious? Iâm here for my candy,â He said matter-of-factly. Smirking, he curled his pointer finger at you. âSo put that silly thing down and câmere.â
âYouâre insane! Get the fuck out of my house!â
âSo rude,â The man huffed, pouting like a child as if this was all a game to him. âWell, if youâre not going to give me my treat, Iâll just have to give you a trick. Thatâs how this works, hm?â
Before you could even process his words, he lunged forward, twisting the knife out of your hands with ease. He was stronger than he looked, and within a matter of seconds, he had you pinned against the counter. You winced as your stomach dug into the marble surface, and you desperately tried to move your hands from out underneath his iron grip. They wouldnât budge.
âDonât struggle too hard, darling. Itâll make this easier for the both of us,â The man breathed into your ear. Chuckling, he added, âYouâre cute when youâre scared, you know. God, I canât wait to taste you.â
Your fear only worsened at that, struggling even harder even though it was useless. âW-Why are you doing this? Who even are you?â Your voice wobbled as tears pricked the corners of your eyes.
âWho I am doesnât matter right now. And maybe youâll find out why this is happening to you if you do some digging later. A little detective work, if you will.â
What the hell does that mean? You couldnât dwell on it for very long, though, because the man was pressing into you even closer now. You squealed when he dragged his tongue along the shell of your ear, anger getting ready to burst when he only laughed at your reaction.
âGet off me, creep!â You snarled, and you actually managed to jerk your arm back and elbow him in the stomach. Hissing, his grip loosened, allowing you to push him off. He stumbled back, and while he was vulnerable, you promptly kicked him in the groin. The intruder yelped in pain as he fell to the floor. You took this chance to run, practically throwing yourself at the front door and fumbling with the locks so you could get the hell out of there.
âYeah, you better runâŚwhile you still canâŚâ The man groaned, but his threats hardly fazed you considering he was just a pathetic heap on the ground now.
Flinging open the door, you sprinted out of the house, planning to find safety with one of your neighbors. You couldnât get far, however, as you ran into someone quite familiar.
âTristan?â You panted, hands on your knees as you tried to catch your breath while looking up at your worried roommate.
â(Name)? Are you okay? Whatâs wrong?â Tristan asked, putting a hand on your shoulder to try and comfort you. âWhat are you doing out here?â
You sucked in a few more breaths before explaining the situation to him. âThereâŚsomeoneâŚ.some guy broke into the house⌠He was after meâŚhe triedâŚtriedâŚâ You couldnât even finish your sentence, it was too terrifying to relive.Â
âHey, itâs okay. Youâre safe now,â Tristan hushed you, pulling you into a surprising embrace. It was something you never expected from him, but you returned the gesture anyway.
âHeâs still in the house, Tristan⌠We need to call the cops and get away from here,â You pulled away from the hug, eyes now focused back on the house. âI left my phone in my room, so can you call them?â
âYeah, I will,â He nodded, whipping out his phone to start dialing. âLetâs go back to my car and stay there until they arrive, okay?â
The two of you made yourselves comfortable in the warm car, and you listened intently as Tristan called 911. After he hung up, he told you that they were on their way and would be there as soon as possible. It was able to calm your beating heart only a little bit. There was a beat of silence between you two before you decided to speak up.
âSo whereâs Mallory? Is she still at the party?â
Without missing a beat, Tristan said, âYeah, she is. I just had to come back cuz I forgot something. The last thing I expected was to see you in such a panic, though. Good thing I got here when I did.â
âYeah⌠I wasnât sure what neighbor would answer the door to help me, so Iâm glad I ran into you,â You confessed.
Tristan laid a comforting hand over yours and smiled. âIâm just happy youâre not hurt. That guyâs gonna pay for what he did.â
You gave him a weak smile in return, before leaning into his touch. Seeing Tristan being so soft was new, but you found it sweet and appreciated how hard he was trying to soothe you. You closed your eyes as he wrapped an arm around you, glad that you were finally away from that creepy intruder.
Tristan let you rest, pulling out his phone when it buzzed with a text alert. Opening the message, it read:
Iâm out of the house now. Sorry I couldnât keep em pinned for longer, I know u wanted to look like the hero or some shit. Though it looks like it still worked out in the end
Trying to hide his smile, Tristan replied:
Thanks man. Iâll send the rest of your payment over in a bit, after the cops leave and things settle down.
Stuffing his phone away, he squeezed your arm gently, smirking at the way you moved in closer. You were so easy to scare.
Right into his arms.

hello i am the anon from yesterday back again to bug youđđť thank u for being so nice btwâ¤ď¸â¤ď¸ hope iâm not annoying you (like feel free to ignore this if you want) but i just wanna ask as i am new to the fandomâŚ. is the netflix series worth watching? i do want to watch it (esp for malinaâ¤ď¸ my loves) but iâve heard itâs more sympathetic towards the darkling and when i tell you i have had enough of aleksanders raggedy ass after r&r i mean it. i know six of crows is also incorporated into the series and i havenât read that series yet, is it good/ as good as shadow and bone? i also want to read the king of scars series but which should i read first, king of scars or six of crows? (assuming youâve read either) and should i read six of crows before watching the series? sorry for dumping this all on you but i donât know anyone else who likes shadow and bone and you were v nice yesterday hehe
welcome back!! i would say yes~ the show is worth watching. the stuff they do with the d*g is annoying and straight up does not make sense and i have Problems with how they handled the racial aspect of it, but as a fantasy book adaptation itself it is highly enjoyable, and as a s&b book adaptation it is definitely fun! and of course, malina is like.....like it honestly blew me away seeing them on screen. jessie and archie are absolutely fantastic, especially archie as mal, he brings the character to life SO well and really shows the people what mal is all about (BECAUSE BOOK MAL AND SHOW MAL ARE THE SAME adjsfk). the pining and yearning is excellent between them.
six of crows is definitely good, and i would recommend at least reading soc before watching the show, maybe even ck too if you have the time. the vibe is a bit different from the grisha trilogy, and you can tell her writing has changed, but it's still very character/relationship driven and the heist is super fun. there are definitely soc easter eggs in the show (and it's like a "prequel" for the events of six of crows so it's nice to be familiar with the characters) so it's fun to notice those little things in the show. king of scars takes place chronologically after the soc duology, so I would read soc/ck first before king of scars
if you have any other questions please feel free to ask!! i just rewatched s&b again (lol) so i have thoughts fresh in my brain

Back Off
I want to apologize because I told you guys that I was going to try to post over the weekend and then it didnât happen. Work ended up being pretty shitty on Saturday. Then my friend got me back into playing video games. So I screwed up my writing schedule by playing my new game. Iâm not entirely sure how much Iâll post this week since I didnât get really anything done yesterday or today.
On a different note, all of the TV shows that I normally watch are kind of coming on this week. I am super excited about Batwoman. I got to watch the first episode today. One of my friends kind of ruined the end of the first episode for me even though I had a feeling it might turn out that way. If you guys watch any of the Arrowverse let me know what you watch and your favorite parts about it.
prompt:Â Hey! I was wondering if you would write one where the team gets really protective of baby R after her ex-boyfriend or maybe a crazy superfan wonât leave her alone and sheâs really scared to go out with the team, walk alone, or get out of the house, and maybe the person does something that just does it for the team? You donât have to write it if you donât want to but thank you :)
warnings: Homophobia; Violence; Stalking
words: 1728
(Y/N) POV
âAre you sure you donât want to come?â
I sighed as I shook my head at Alex. The team was going out for dinner, but I hadnât exactly felt comfortable with going out lately. Alex and Kelley were the only ones who really knew the reason as to why I didnât want to go out with the others. They had only found out on complete accident when they were over at my house and my ex had shown up.
I had come out as bisexual to my family and my boyfriend. My boyfriend just wouldnât leave me alone about being bi, so I eventually had enough and dumped his homophobic ass. It was one of the best decisions I had ever made. Until he started to show up everywhere to try and talk to me. I had made my decision clear to him, but he didnât seem to care. I would never get back together with him. Especially when he kept trying to tell me I was worthless for loving who I loved.
âYeah, Iâll be fine,â I assured Alex. Alex hesitated but there was a knock on the door that drew her attention. I, however, tensed at the knock. Alex answered the door. I wasnât surprised when Kelley pushed her way into the room.
â(Y/N), come on,â Kelley grabbed a hold of my arm and started to drag me out of the room. âItâs time to go!â
I pulled my arm from the defender. Alex looked a little nervous. I knew that Kelley was the one who was brasher than Alex. Most of the arguments I had with Alex and Kelley were about my decision on how I was handling James.
âIâm not going.â
âYou canât just hide for the rest of your life, (Y/N),â Kelley said. I ducked my head down and looked away from her. âYou have to get out.â
âKelley,â Alex hissed as she pulled the defender back. Alex looked at me. âSheâs right though, (Y/N). You canât just hide because James will always be out there.â
Silence surrounded us. I knew that most of our arguments were connected to my problems with James. Alex and Kelley had good points, but I did too. I was concerned about how far James would go to get to me.
âIâm trying to get a restraining order,â I said. I knew that a restraining order more than likely wouldnât keep James away, but I was hoping that if he broke it, he would be thrown in jail. âI just donât feel comfortable going out.â
Kelley opened her mouth, but Alex grabbed her arm. Kelley looked back at Alex before she sighed. Kelley started to grumble but walked out of the room. Alex looked back at me.
âWeâll bring you some food back,â Alex said and I nodded. âIf you need anything, call me. If anything happens, call me.â
âI will,â I assured. I watched Alex follow Kelley out of the door. I rubbed the back of my neck before turning to sit on the bed.
I knew that Kelley was starting to get aggravated because I wouldnât go out with the team because I was afraid that James would be there. She was also getting aggravated with the fact that I refused to tell the others. I wasnât sure how long I had been lost in my thoughts before there was a knock on the door. I looked up at the door before walking over to it. I looked through the peephole to see who it was.
I wasnât going to answer it, but the pounding on the door made me jump in surprise. I waited to see if it would stop, but it wasnât.
âGo away.â
âDonât be like that, (Y/N). Just let me in.â
âI donât want to talk to you, James,â I said as I pulled out my phone. âJust leave me alone.â
I backed away from the door as my phone started to ring. I ignored Jamesâ calls as he began to bang on the door again. I breathed out in relief when Alex finally answered the call.
âHey, (Y/N), did you dec-â âHeâs here,â I cried out. Alex immediately went silent. I looked at the door in surprise when the pounding stopped. âJames is here. Heâs knocking on the door and he wonât leave.â
â(Y/N), I have a key,â James warned. âIf you donât open the door, I will.â
âAlex!â
âGet in the bathroom,â Alex demanded. I could hear other voices questioning Alex, but I wasnât focused on that. I got into the bathroom. I locked the door. âHe wonât have a key to the bathroom. Iâll be there soon. Stay on the phone.â
I moved back so that I was further in the bathroom. I jumped when I could hear the door slam open. James was moving around the room.
âAlex, heâs in the room.â
âIâm almost there, (Y/N). Just hang on.â
The pounding began again. This time on the bathroom door. I took another step back but had to steady myself as I bumped into the bathtub.
âI know youâre in there, (Y/N),â James called out. âCome out!â
âHey, back off!â Alex said. There were some voices talking. â(Y/N), are you in there? Can you let me in?â
I moved back to the door. I leaned against it and pressed my forehead against the door. I took a deep breath.
âAlex, are you really there?â
âYeah, I am.â
I hesitantly opened the door. I jumped back in surprise when the door was pushed open and someone wrapped me in a hug. It took me a minute to control myself and realize that it was Alex.
âYouâre ok,â Alex assured as she kept me wrapped up in the hug. âYouâre fine. Weâre here. He canât hurt you.â
I wrapped my arms around Alex and pulled myself closer to her. I let Alex hold me for a few minutes. She kept stroking my hair and assuring me that it was all right.
âHeâs in the hall,â Mal said causing Alex and me both to pull away from the hug. I  knew that I had to look like a mess with the way that Mal looked at me. âThe police are on their way.â
âI wanna talk to him.â
Alex and Mal both turned to look at me. I had surprised myself by saying that, but I knew that I meant it. I wanted to talk to James. I wasnât even entirely sure about why.
âAre you sure?â Alex asked.
âI want to show him that Iâm better than he is,â I nodded.
âNo one thinks youâre worse than him, (Y/N),â Mal assured. I looked at the forward who was closer to my age. âNo one would blame you for wanting to stay in your room for the rest of the week.â
âI canât,â I said. I looked at Alex. I had been hiding from him for so long, I couldnât take it anymore. âI need to prove that I can face him without being scared of him.â
âNo one expects you to face James without fear,â Alex said. âHeâs been stalking you for months now, (Y/N). Itâs ok to be afraid of him.â
âNot when it interferes with my life,â I denied. Alex opened her mouth to argue with me. âPlease, I need this.â
Alex slowly nodded before wrapping her arm around my shoulders. I let her led me out to the hallway with Mal walking in front of us. I shook off the looks that the others gave me. I wasnât entirely surprised to find the keepers were the ones that were keeping James in the hall, but I was surprised to see that Kelley hadnât hit him yet, but she looked really close.
James opened his mouth and tried to take a step forward when he same me. However, the smack reached my ears before even I could realize what happened. But it clicked in my mind quickly. Alex had slapped James.
âYou bitch!â
That only set Kelley off who punched the taller man. James looked like he was going to try something, but the keepers shoved him back into the wall. James looked to me and I tried to find remorse, but there wasnât any.
âI donât need to be scared of you. Not anymore. I have powerful women behind me, you have no one. If anyone should be afraid, it should be you.â
âYou would be lucky to be with me, (Y/N),â James started. âYou kn-â
âNo, I wouldnât,â I cut him off. Jamesâ face was starting to turn red. âI wish I would have known that when I first got with you, but I didnât. Now, look at you. You canât take no for an answer. You should have backed off when you had the chance. Youâll go to jail and Iâll be sure to get a restraining order. No judge would deny a restraining order against you, and if you break it, you go back to jail.â
Silence filled the hall as James realized what I had said. I could see it in his eyes. He was finally understanding that I meant what I said. I would be pressing charges against him. A door opened and most of the attention was turned to it. I, however, kept my eyes on James as he stared at me.
âThis is your man, officers. Heâs been harassing me for months and stalking me for almost as long,â I informed them. âToday he broke in my room.â
The officers nodded and moved toward James. Alex and Kelley pulled me back toward their room. A few of the younger players joined us while the older ones stayed to talk to the officers. I was sure that they were telling them what we needed to do, but I didnât care at the moment.
âCome on, weâre going to cuddle with you and have a movie night in my room tonight,â Kelley said.
I let her drag me with her. All I really needed right now was Kelley OâHara and Alex Morgan giving me cuddles. I was sure that the two of them cuddling me would turn into the whole team cuddling together. That was what I needed.

Directorâs cut for chapter 15 of Skeptic? I think about it a lot. Oh, and tell me about your hobbies? What would your ideal vacation be?
Directorâs Cut Chap 15! -Â
This was a very interesting chapter, because i always knew what was going to happen in it, but really worried people would hate it. Mainly because thereâs no Shane/Ryan interactions and it has a lot of philosophical discussions about God...
(cut for my rambles)
I have a lot of very specific views on God. Iâm not very religious (as in, I havenât been inside any kind of Church in about a bajillion years), but I do believe in a higher power and like to think there is some kind of afterlife.Â
So, thatâs whatâs going on here - Viola and Shane talking about God and the idea that, while more powerful, God is as flawed as the rest of us in their own way.Â
I also really wanted to dive more in Ryanâs sort of selective prejudice when it comes to demons. He clearly cares about Shane and a few others, but, for the most part - he still sees all demon as evil. And heâs not necessarily wrong, but Iâm a big fan of the whole âdo you have the right to decides who lives and who dies? If you take them out - are you any better?âÂ
I knew I wanted Ryan to have a thirst/addiction for killing and for killing demons in particular. His going to Charonâs was to display that and while I wish I had done a better job of conveying that place as a den of depravity, I think I DID manage to get across how blood thirsty he is.
...as well as the fact that thereâs something not quite right with him. Ryanâs not a bad ass warrior. Heâs not dedicated to fighting or has learned extensive fighting arts or anything like that, yet heâs cutting through high level, powerful demons with little to no effort?
How?
So, uh, spoilers would be the answer? But, yâknow, this is when I started more than ever hinting at the future of the fic ~ala~ the twist I hope people will really like.
Iâll also say that, as is known, I have a big love for abandoned places. So i went pretty nuts looking up the aesthetic for Charonâs. The abandoned roadhouse with the eerie desert background, the cellar and thumping bass music and lights - like a gross, creepy underground NYC club...
...yeah, had a lot of fun describing that!
Not to mention I always have a blast writing Mal and the gang. I thought their showing up to save Ryan shows that even demons/ghosts are capable of good actions. AND SARA.
For some reason, Iâm a big fan of writing her pissed off. I loved her dumping him there to âscareâ him and then going to get back up. Saraâs my girl and I like the idea of her not putting up with these boys shit.
ANYWAY - now to the other ?âs!
Hobbies - When Iâm not writing Iâm usually playing video games (World of Warcraft, most notably) and watching TV/movies. I also started digging into a puzzle a friend got me for my BD - here I come 300-piece Golden Girls puzzle!
Ideal Vacation - Iâve always wanted to go to Ireland, but honestly Iâd love to go anywhere of late - havenât been on a real vacation in a dogâs age.

Jealous Book 2 Part 3
Scoot Mctoot cares about his sister so much that heâs willing to do the things he doesnât want to do, just for her
âGood morning Scott.â You say as you take a seat at the breakfast table.
âCan you add another plate for my new boyfriend please?â Scott looks at you, startled. You laugh at his expression.Â
âDo not tell me you and Theo are dating now.â
âYes we are, is there a problem?â Scott furrow his eyebrows.
âYou just broke up with Liam?! Now youâre dating him? The enemy?â You frown.
âFirst of all, It was Liam who broke my heart and Theo, and Corey, who helped me through my heartbreak. Theo was always there for me and during our adventure fighting off the ghost riders while you remembered Stiles, there was a deep connection between us. Secondly, Theo is not our enemy anymore. heâs my boyfriend.â
âAre you crazy? Heâs a f*cking murderer!â He raises his voice.
âTheo will never do anything to hurt me. He loves me! And I love him!â
âYou canât trust him, heâs the reason why you and Liam broke up.â
âI can trust him. I will always trust him. Heâs my best friend! Youâre just mad because it isnât your otp!â Scottâs eyes turn red. You get scared and step back. He realizes what is happening and calms back down.Â
âIâm sorry Y/n.â
âPlease Scott, just let me be with him.â You whisper, afraid he would lash out on you. He steps a bit closer. You flinch a bit.
âIâm so sorry, y/n. I didnât mean to scare you. Please donât be scared of me.â He reaches his arms out for a hug and you carefully hug him.Â
âHear me out, today is the last pack meeting before Stiles goes off to the FBI thing. Weâll have a vote there. See who agrees and disagrees with you guys dating. I promise I wonât vote until the end.â You nod.
âIs everything okay here?â Theo comes down. You can smell his chemosignals, he was sad.
âBaby, you heard all that?â You ask walking up to give him a hug.
âYes baby, donât worry Iâm alright.â
âOkay, come on, letâs eat breakfast together.â The three of you gather around the table. You give Theo your plate and go to get your own. It was silent, with only the sound of you guys chewing.
âOh my God, where the hell is he?â Stiles complains. You cuddle closer to Theo while holding his hand. You catch Corey staring at you and he sends you a wink. A knock is heard on the door and Lydia opens it.
âFinally! Liam and Hayden! Youâre here!â The other couple walks in. Liamâs eyes lands on your intertwined hand with Theo.
âHey guys, sorry we are late. This is my new girlfriend, Hayden.â He smirks.
âHey, I have a new boyfriend too! Everyone, Theo is my new boyfriend.â Liam glares at you. You knew just how to get on his nerves.
âYou guys are gonna have to vote if Theo and Y/n should date.â Scott informs the pack.
âI agree, they look cute together. And Y/n is happy!â Lydia states, smiling. You smile brightly.
âMe! I agree definitely! Come on Mason.â Corey says quickly. You chuckle.
âOkay, Iâm okay with them.â
âOkay so thatâs 3 out of 8. You just need two more votes to be able to date Theo.â Stiles slowly raises his hand.
âI agree.â Scott gasps, putting a hand on his chest as if Stilesâ choice stabbed him in the heart.
âStiles.â
âWhat? Y/n is happy, I am happy.â Stiles says. You grin.
âOkay one more vote. Malia? Liam? Hayden?â
âI completely disagree.â Liam states. You roll your eyes.
âOkay so now its two versus four.â
âI donât mind, as long as he,â Malia jabs a finger at Theo. â,doesnât bother me.â
âIs that a yes?â Scott asks. She nods. You happily jump up.
âYay! Thanks Scotty! Thanks Mal, Thanks Lyds, Thanks Mas, Thanks Stiles, Thanks Cor! I love you all. Well not you.â Your eyes land on Liam. He frowns. You go back to cuddling Theo, who has been silent all along. You smile at him and he smiles back, kissing your forehead,
âWhatâs wrong babe?â
âNothing, I just feel unwelcomed.â You put your hands on his.
âBaby, itâs just one pack meeting. you donât have to come to the rest if you donât want to.â You give a small smile and cuddle closer to him, inhaling his scent.
âOkay so since weâre going to college, Iâm leaving it up to you guys to protect Beacon Hills. If you have any problems, ask Y/n or Liam. They will be your alpha 2.0.âł
âWhy me and him?â You whine.
âbecause, youâve been in the supernatural world longer than him and heâs my first beta.â
âYeah, Yeah. just like the old times. Donât worry Scotty, I will protect those who cannot protect themselves as much as possible, and that includes dear Liam over there, who has the I.E.D. What does it stand for again? Intermittent Explosive Disorder?â It was a good thing you had Brett Talbotâs number, because he and Liam held a grudge against each other. Brett loves to play with Liamâs anger issues. It was also good that you were good friends with Allison before she died.
âY/n.â Scott sternly says. You snicker.
âCan you please stop trying to get MY boyfriend angry?â Hayden speaks up.
âDonât emphasize on âmyâ please. He was my boyfriend in the first place.â
âWell-â
âHayden.â Liam states. Hayden instantly shuts up. The meeting continued on, with the tension being so thick that you can cut a knife through it. You received glares from Hayden, so you glared back.Â
Finally, when the meeting finished, you and Stiles embraced tightly.
âIâm gonna miss you Y/n. Call me if you miss me.â
âOh Stiles. I will miss you and your sarcasm.â You let go so Stiles and Scott could hug.
âPrincess Iâm gonna go.â Theo says from behind you. You turn to him and pout.
âAwh but I wanted you to stay.â
âI donât think Scott likes me. Iâll come by once in a while donât worry.â He smiles to reassure you.Â
âOkay, stay safe baby.â You peck him on the lips before he walks out the door.Â
When everyone left Scott walks up to you.
âY/n you can have my motorcycle. I have Stilesâ jeep now.â He hands me his keys. âTake good care of it.â You nod.
That motorcycle can save someoneâs life.
By the start of the school year, everything was different.Â
âHey! Nice work Diaz! Nolan, you can stay in there. You can take him. Nice shot, the best for pre-season.â Scott blows the whistle and watches the players on the field. You walk up to your brother.
âHey sis, You ready to fill in my spot?â You nod.Â
âAssistant Coach McCall, What exactly are you doing?â
âDrills.â
âYouâre giving them hope. When did I ever give you hope?â
âNever.â
âExactly. Nothing motivates more than withering criticism. Also is this the new assistant coach? And speaking of losers, where's- where's your little friend?â Scott looks around the field for Liam.
âYes coach, Iâm Y/n McCall.â
âYouâre a girl. Have you played Lacrosse before? Have I seen you play?â You nod.
âokay show me your moves. Go change.â You start to leave to go change. Coach turns back to Scott.
âUm..â
âUm? Is um a location? Is um behind me?â
âHeâll be here okay. Heâs the backbone of our team, he stepped it up everyway possible. A born leader who can handle anything you throw at him.â Scott looks at you and gestures you to find him quick. You give him a nod.
âhey little McCall, whoâs that on the bleachers?â Coach points to Theo sitting on the bleachers, reading a book.
âHeâs my boyfriend. Gotta go.â You run inside and enter the boys change room.
âI canât handle this.â Liam sulks, lying on the bench, half naked. You roll your eyes.
âDude you havenât even changed? Stop sulking about Hayden. Scott has faith in you.â The three boys look at you.
âGo away Y/n, You donât belong here.â Liam says.
âI do. Iâm the new assistant coach.â
âI canât handle this.â Liam groans. You roll your eyes again and help him.Â
âYes you can. And youâve handled so much worse than this. Now stop crying.â Corey and Mason grab his uniform. You push him up.
âI donât think you should be here. This is the boyâs change room.â Corey says, nervously.
âCorey. Both of you are fully dressed, literally the only thing to see at the moment is Liam and his naked chest. And Iâve seen Liam naked before.â You help him put on his uniform and lacrosse things. Liam ignores what you said.
âYouâre practically the Alpha now dude.â Mason tells Liam.
âiâm nothing without her.â You roll your eyes dramatically.
âCan you stop being a crybaby?â You push Corey and Mason away so you can quickly put on his clothes. Liam stares at you.
âYou donât understand, Hayden left me.â
âGood,â Corey hits you gently. You smirk.
âShe moved, to protect her sister. Itâs not like she dumped you or anything.â Mason explains
âWhy are your arms so god damn heavy? Liam help me out here please.â You complain, struggling to put on the lacrosse padding over him. Mason gets a text.
âOkay, Scott says coach is losing it.â
âScottâs leaving too.â Liam says before falling back towards you. You push him away.
âGoing to college is not leaving, okay? itâs called growing up. And weâre all going to different colleges eventually.â Mason explains
âI thought we both were applying to UCLA?â Mason hand gestures Corey to shut up.
âYou guys are going to the same college?â
âThatâs not the point.â
âI donât know where Iâm going, so...â
âI donât want to be with you.â You gasped, pretending to be offended
âLiam, weâre still here. Stop sulking and get moving. I have to change myself too.â Mason gives him his lacrosse stick and you get away from the boys, taking off your shirt.
âUm. Y/n.â
âWhat? Just look away duh.â You chuckle at Coreyâs response when he saw you in your bra.Â
âYou still wear that bra?â You face reddens and you quickly put on your jersey which was Scottâs old jersey.
âShut up.â
âWhat is the point?â Corey and Mason start dragging him out. You follow.
âThe point is, summer is almost over. Weâre gonna be seniors. This is about to the best year of our entire lives, and youâre still captain of the lacrosse team.â They back up into and fall on each other. You laugh. Mason phone vibrates.
âCoach is making Diaz captain.â Liamâs expression changes.Â
âWelp see ya. Gonna be kicking your asses later.â You wave goodbye before running out.
Diaz has the ball when you reached the field.Â
âOther team, little McCall.â You run to the other side and put on your helmet. You look at Theo who was look at you. He smiles. Diaz throws the ball towards the net. Right before it hits the net, Liam jumps in.Â
âNow thatâs how you play lacrosse, McCall. Who is that kid? Heâs spectacular.â
âCoach, Thatâs Liam.â
âwell how am I suppose to tell them apart? They all are wearing the same thing.â
âThey got numbers on the jerseyâs coach.â Liam was running with the ball and you smirk. You run right at him, slamming into him. Both of you fall.
âOw god damn it.â Liam gets up slowly, breathing heavily.
âF*ck. Liam.â You say. Scott blow his whistle and runs toward you guys.
âY/n!â You put your hands up in surrender. Liam looks up with his beta eyes.
âLiam, your eyes.â Scott says.
âMcCall. what the hell was that? That wasnât a foul. Thatâs called winning.â Everyone gathers around but their eyes land on something else. A wolf.
The wolf growls and walks a bit closer.
âEveryone back.â Scott tells everyone. They step back. You step a bit behind Scott. You see Nolan standing and staring at the wolf.
âNolan.â You say. You look at Scott.
âNolan, Stay back. Are you okay?â You ask pulling him back. He looks at you, fear in his eyes. Scott stars at the wolf, eyes flashing red. The wolf turns around. Scott looks back at you and Liam. You nod. Liam and Scott follow the wolf into the woods, while you get everyone settled.
You hear Scott and Liam groan as you walk by Scottâs room. They were trying to close Scottâs suitcase. They were able to close for a second, but once they threw it on the bed, it opened again.Â
âHi guys. Having some trouble I see.â You smirk.Â
âY/n go away.â You fake gasp at what your brother just said. You go and sit in between the two boys.
âIâm offended Scott. Are you guys trying to kick me out of the house? Keep in mind that this is my house too.â
âGo away.â Liam tries to push you away.
âNo. Donât touch me. Liam was being a pervert today.â
âYou changed in front of me.â
âItâs not like you guys never seen each other naked.â Scott adds. The both of you blush.
âSo do you want to talk about it?â Scott asks Liam.
âI thought we were talking about it.â You poke Liamâs head.
âOw, what the hell?â
âThatâs obviously not what Scottâs talking about.â
âOh. That. Me.â You shake your head smiling.
âYea. You. Your fangs. your eyes. your growl.â
âThis is like the dread doctors all over again.â Liam blushes a bit, thinking about those times.
âIts not like weâre talking about this.â
âYou just gotta remember your mantra. What three things cannot long be hidden?âÂ
âThe sun, the moon, the truth.â You chirp in.
âI havenât had to used that-â
âWhat three things cannot long be hidden?â Scott repeats.
âThe sun, the moon ,the truth.â Scott tells him to repeat that over again. He takes a deep breath and repeats it. Scott listens to his heart beat.
âBetter.â You hug Liam.
âI swear to god, if you make me kiss you again, I am gonna kill you.â You whisper. Scott laughs and Liam laughs in embarrassment.
âYou donât have another suitcase do you?â
âI have duct tape.â

Kanata no Astra Episode One
Iâm currently watching the first episode of Kanata no Astra as recommended by @akaskiraÂ
(yes, Iâm watching this because of seiyuu despite some of the normal âred flagsâ that this will be some stupid hash of a seasonal anime. If your friends jump off a cliff, itâs probably because you jumped first. My mom didnât raise a winner, she raised an idiot).
Iâm just going to providing some stupid commentary.
We have a widescreen display, over a minute of monologue and credits, we see a ditzy girl with big breasts being introduced. As this is a space anime, you better bet that Lerche is gonna spend their money on animating boobs and ass because itâs just what space anime does.Â
Me on my way to get some cookies.
After he dived, heâs confirmed to be another idiot. Here, we see me going, âIdiot solidarityâ.Â
I canât take this show seriously, and itâs the first 5 minutes.Â
This woman is probably taking a picture of this manâs ass according to appearance and angle. Sheâs lacking subtly.
This made me laugh. The animation is pretty lacking so far. A lot of shortcuts have been taken, but at this point, I just hope Lercheâs animators are not being abused. I donât even care about the quality as much anymore.
I didnât actually see of the characters besides the main two, but Iâm gonna bet that this one is played by Kouki Uchiyama:
Five seconds later, my suspicion was confirmed.
One of the main reason Iâm scared of kids: their puppets will trash talk you.
Iâve seen this mistake made (calling a teacher mom), and according to online forums, itâs not uncommon. These mistakes do happen.
I want to make an entrance like this
I have seen 5 Kouki Uchiyama characters make this exact face (probably)
It took me a while to recognize, but Nobunaga Shimazaki plays another teenage bishonen.
15 minutes in and we have a deceased sensei and a flashback from our main character.
We get the âIâm carrying your dream on for you, senseiâ cliche. Nice.
When you see this, you should probably say âthis isnât a good idea. Time to go home.â
Donât stop him. Itâs called natural selection.Â
Dude, she had pink neon hair. You met her first. How can you forget?!Â
Object placement is really convenient.
Youâre telling me they just came up with the human chain idea? Even I knew it was going to happen, and Iâm me.Â
Friendship speech and crisis is inevitable, but I didnât think it would take that long to get through. Not that it matters though. But looking back, the information dump, further self-introductions, and inserted humour took around ten minutes to get through. I have watched Shonen Friendship Speeches. You better bet Iâm prepared for things like this. I have watched Naruto say âDattebayoâ more times than I can count.Â
This is the reason why Nobunaga Shimazaki was hired.Â
Koukiâs character has to be the last one to join the friendship circle. Anything else would be weird.Â
This is gonna go wrong real fast.Â
âItâs a miracleâ - usually said before said miracle goes wrong.
The logo reminds me of that Gakusen Toshi Asterisk anime which only has one redeeming quality which is an ED sang by Maaya Sakamoto.
Looking at the cast, I knew the main two and being a boy and a girl, I bet that they will have some romance hinted throughout.Â
Inori Minase is used to playing airheads I think. Cute and ditzy airheads. Inori is really busy this season because along with her music career, sheâs also playing the main girl in Danmachi (which has a lot of events and advertising). Sheâs one of the new young âinâ girls.Â
Yoshimasa Hosoya takes a lead role which I didnât see coming. I havenât watched him take a main character role since Hai to Gensou no Grimgar
I didnât recognize Hina Kino because Iâve only really noticed her in Asobi Asobase which is really different and involves a lot of screaming.
Kouki Uchiyamaâs character is everything I expected and nothing more.
Same but for Nobunaga Shimazaki
I have never heard of Risae Matsuda, but after a MAL search, Iâve learned that she has a twin sister. She has a lot of background roles.
I didnât recognize Saori Hayami because I swear her character spoke only a few times.
I thought Shunsuke Takeuchi was Daisuke Ono for some reason.
I have somehow managed to miss every single notable Tomoyo Kurosawa role. She plays main characters/recurring characters in Aikatsu, Amagi Brilliant Park (which had Kouki), Bang Dream, Cinderella Girls, Houseki no Kuni, Yuuki Yuuna, and Hibike Euphonium. I havenât been up to date with cutesy girl anime because it usually isnât my thing. I have been meaning to watch Hibike and Houseki no Kuni though.Â
Overall, how did I find the first episode? Eh, it was alright. I will give it another episode or two to grab my attention.Â

The Inevitable - Part 5
((What be this?! Dee is writing again?!! Haha...yeah, I kinda got put off due to recent events and itâs Razâs fault âcause her guild events are too good and the list could go on but! I got inspired again! And Iâm now gonna try to jump in the writing train, choochoo!))
Shout out to @flynneware for proof-reading this, she is the bomb and you all should check out her writing pieces too because they too are the bomb. <3
Part 1 Part 2 Jazaliâs letter Part 3 Part 4 Malindaâs letter (warning: contains NSFW content)
âNot gonna happen.â
Jazaliâs left eye twitched,
â... Come again?â
Today was certainly not a day that Jazali felt she could look forward to. The little troll woke up at sunrise and ate some jerky for breakfast on the porch. She wandered around the shack at first since she couldnât find the elf, but soon enough she saw her coming from across the path. Malinda didnât say a word upon her arrival and simply went in, dumped bags of items she bought from the market onto the armchair before going out, and suddenly started to chop firewood. The little troll didnât look like a person who would analyse a situation thoroughly, but in this case Jazali didnât have to. It didnât take a genius to figure out that this elf would be the one who would train her, although the little Darkspear wouldnât look forward to it, and the elf certainly didnât take comfort with her company either.
But something just didnât sit right to her. Surely Moki could have simply sent her to a Pandaren monk who would be willing to train her in exchange for work? Granted they both had never been to Pandaria before and it might have been slightly inconvenient on the part of the mentor, but they seemed like gentle folk who were welcoming of outsiders in search of knowledge. So why did Moki choose this elf specifically?
In hopes of answering that question, Jazali walked up to the elf and casually asked when she would start her training her, to which the troll received the earlier response.
Jazali patiently crossed her arms and asked.
âAnâ why are ya not gonna help me?â The night elf rolled her eyes, as if the troll asked her a question with the most obvious answer, before smashing her axe hard onto a log and deadpanning.
âI have neither the time, nor the crayons, to explain it to you kid. Now beat it.â
Jazali felt her eye twitch again and her fists clenched instinctively; this elf was really pushing it. However the Darkspear had to remind herself that Moki sent her to this place for a reason and this may be her second and only chance to prove herself, so after closing her eyes with a deep breath and a count to ten in her head, she glanced back up at the elf and growled.
âDat ainâ a proper answer anâ ya know it.â
âI donât care.â Malindaâs response was simple as she picked up a pile of wood and headed back into the shack.
âJu ainât even given me a chance elfie, anâ ya already tellinâ me no?â
âLook kid-â
âJazali.â
âGesundheit.â Malinda rolled her eyes again before slamming down her axe, this time hard enough for it to stick to the stump. She patted down her hands before she turned to address Jazali frankly. âYou are in a giantass continent that practically invented the monk concept. So why doncha just run off to the closest Pandaren you can find and ask them for help. Maybe they can tolerate your obnoxious tone and do it work-free.â
With that, the night elf picked up the cut logs and headed to a shed next to one of the stables. Jazali, however, didnât like the elfâs condescending tone and marched up behind her, not giving up.
âB-butâŚda lettah!â She waved her arms exasperatedly at Mal, who tried her hardest to ignore her as she opened the shed and nonchalantly threw the wood inside. âJu got Mokiâs lettah, so ju know he sent me here foâ a reason!â
âI donât care if that old fool thinks this will settle my debt; I am quite frankly not in the mood to train some loud-mouthed kid that suddenly got dumped on my doorstep.â Malinda replied snarkily with a piercing gaze at the smaller troll, who for a moment gaped in silence before her anger caught up to her.
âOkeh, first off!â Jazali growled, pointing a warning finger at Mal who didnât look like she gave a Kodoâs ass in that moment âI ainâ a kid! Mah name be Jazali of da Darkspear anâ I wenâ through my rite of adulthood jusâ like erryâbuddy else! Anâ second, ju ainâ even givinâ me a valid excuse foâ why u ainâ wantinâ ta train me. It be cuz Iâm a troll?!â
Malinda finally had enough of this impudent child not listening to her and slammed the shed door very hard and loudly, enough to even make Jazali jolt and the hinges threaten to break. Finally, the Kalâdorei turned around and glared coldly at the troll, crossing her arms as she began her âvalidâ explanation. âQuite frankly, yes. But if you want a valid excuse, how about I give you some. First off, your three toes already tell me that you have a lack of balance, which probably makes you fail at your current profession. And Iâm not even going to start on that ridiculous tuft of a bush that you call hair, already sending me warning signals of your disorganisation. Secondly, from what Iâve heard from Moki and your attitude, you seem to lack the basic principles of maturity, dignity, propriety, sociability, and responsibility. Which is probably why for the majority of your life, I am going to deduce that people like you probably had to rely on someone, due to lacking a spine for independence.â
When Malinda saw Jazaliâs jaw tense further, the trollâs eyes hidden as she tilted her head further down the more Mal ranted, the monkâs condescending sneer deepened.
She drawled. âOh, not far off the truth am I? So for someone like âJazali of da Darkspearâ, after going through her rite of passage and mommy and daddy could no longer look after her, Iâm going to guess that you used Moki as a scapegoat, probably why before this you have either been parading around with that old pathetic excuse of a druid your whole life or squandering your meager talents with a group of individuals who probably needed another meat shield⌠No surprise that you couldnât stay in the tribe, considering that they all probably knew that you were the runt of the family, judging by your ridiculous height⌠or lack thereof. That good enough reason for ya?â
The response was more physical than verbal. In the sense that Jazali decided that whacking the hilt of her machete into Malindaâs jaw was an appropriate response. After the echoing sound of her weaponâs handle slamming into Malindaâs face, there was dead silence. Jazali stood there with a furious glare and a trembling mouth, while Malindaâs head tilted back, but her nonchalant expression still remained. If anything, the elf looked like she had just been bitten by a mosquito⌠and she now intended to squash it.
Through clenched teeth, Jazali hissed.
âI couldnaâ give a flyinâ shit if ya wanna be callinâ me what  errybody else been callinâ me lots oâ times befoâ. But donâchu evah be callinâ mah friend dem names. He be ten times a druid than ju ever was a monk you elfy bitch, anâ I donâ give a shit if he tâinks ju âoughta be teachinâ me.â
The troll angrily sheathed her blade and spat at the ground beside Mal with pure disdain. âScrew dâis, Iâm leavinâ.â
Her hands formed into fists held stiffly by her sides, the little troll started to march away, fully prepared to get as far away from this bitchy-ass elfy as possible. Jazali didnât really have a plan on what would happen after this, probably just go back to Zari and Bru, theyâd always have a job opening for her. Would this piss off Moki? ...Probably, but screw what that old moo thinks! If he finds Malinda to be an appropriate teacher for her then he obviously has shitty tastes in teachers. Zariâyen and Brugran would probably give her a loan to train with somebody else⌠right?
Jaz would have continued with her huffy marching and train of thought⌠if she wasnât stopped by Malinda. The little troll felt something suddenly yank back harshly on her cloak, choking her startled grunt. Jaz suddenly heard Malinda behind her.
âRule number one while on my turf: donât call me a bitch.â
Faster than she could say her own name, Jazali felt the whole world spin as Malinda used the cloak to slingshot Jaz and slam her face-down to the ground. The little hunter tried to brace her arms to protect her from most of the force, but found herself nearly knocked out and seeing stars.
As Malinda heard Jazâs aching groans and watched her try to get up again; she let out a sniff and blew a stray strand of hair away from her face. âYouâre determined, Iâll give ya that. But from what I saw, unless youâre willing to take this seriously, Iâm not interested.â
âJu⌠ainât seen nothin yet.â Jazali hissed out, already on her two feet while holding her aching side with one arm, glaring scathingly at the elf. ââCuz ju now gonna pay foâ dat.â
Malinda raised a brow at the stubborn troll; how curious. Her regeneration must be working at a faster rate than Mal had anticipated. Nonetheless, the night elf snorted and wagged her finger at Jazali in a âcome and get itâ way as she smirked.
âIâd like to see you try.â
With a furious growl, Jazali blindly charged at the elf with a roar and a swing of her blade. But as soon as she had swung down, Jazali blinked when it seemed like the elf disappeared from her front view. When in reality, Malinda had simply seen that attack coming a mile away and dodged to Jazaliâs right. The elf swiftly raised her leg up and kicked Jazaliâs machete high into the air; Â the troll hurriedly barrel-rolled away and held her kicked hand with a grunt.
Malinda gracefully caught the weapon by the handle before it whirled down to the ground. Jazali hurriedly took out her other blade, her eyes now tinting with rageful red. The little troll snarled aggressively and tried to jab at Malindaâs guts, but the elf simply parried it away with Jazaliâs first blade. It was like a circling dance of death; everytime Jazali tried to take a stab at Mal, the elf would simply parry it away again and await her next move.
Just when Malinda thought sheâd better cut this boring battle quickly, anticipating Jazali stabbing her again, the little troll instead faked a jab with her blade and followed it with a hard punch to the elfâs face.
The only thing Malinda had time to do was quickly grab Jazâs fist before she retracted it. The sudden blast of pain to her face was nothing new to Mal, but the force of that punch did make her shake her head a bit to brush off the dizzying pain. Well now. The kid could punch apparently.
No matter how much Jazali tried to pull her fist away, it wouldnât budge. So instead the little troll roared and swung her sword toward Malâs stomach, but Malinda simply grabbed that hand too after dropping the blade and twisted it so that the wrist snapped.
Jazali let out a painful cry and in a fit of rage and desperation, leapt up and clamped her teeth down onto Malindaâs neck.
âAAARH FUCK!â The night elf shouted out, feeling each sharp tooth like a hot blade into her skin. The elf furiously used Jazâs hands in her grip to forcefully throw her off her person.
Jazali found herself being thrown again and rolling across the ground, but this time she quickly used her claws to clamp down onto the dirt and lean up on all threes, due to one of her wrists being broken, like a rabid feline. She even snarled like one as she glared up at Malinda from her crouching position, her eyes now a blood red and her hair released from its confines, giving her a wild mane look.
Malinda winced as she felt blood seep from her neck, but simply stretched it as she winced. âAw hellâŚâ ...Would Moki believe her if she claimed that his pupil berserked on her and hence that would be a good reason to knock her out?
Before Malinda could ponder that thought, Jazaliâs rageful form launched at her, claws flailing. Malindaâs feet gathered mist in less than a second and the elf used it to push herself away just by a hair from the sharp nails of the troll.
Jazaliâs savage state was relentless however and she let out a wordless bellow as she ran up to try and bite Malinda, but the elf simply used the mists beneath her feet to dodge her out the way. But what she didnât anticipate was the sudden kick hurled right into her stomach and forcing her to take a step back. This gave Jazali enough pause to hurl herself at Malinda and try to claw her face off like a wild cat.
Both forms came tumbling down, but Malinda came up on top with both of Jazaliâs arms behind her back, the little troll writhing and howling beneath her. When it became apparent that Jazâs rageful form wouldnât relent, Malinda decided to take the matter into her own hands. Quite literally.
The little troll son found herself seeing stars when the Kaldorei slammed her glowing green fist in a one-two-three jab to her skull, neck and back, hard enough to slam her down into the dirt again.
âYou fight well.â The little troll barely registered the words through the dizzy provoked haze of her mind. Jazali tried to get back onto her hands again, the adrenaline and rage still coursing through her veins and chanting to her to get up, get up, get up, GET UP! But Malinda casually placed a glowing hand against Jazâs skull again and continued. âBut Iâm afraid Iâve no time to squabble with the likes of you.â
And then, Jazâs vision was overcome with darkness.
It was her hearing that came to her first. The sound of a crackling fire. A fireplace perhaps? Soft wind grazing against the roomâs walls and windows. Reminded her of the indoors...why was she indoors?
Then came her sense of smell: smoke and fire, steam and roasted⌠something. Whatever it was, it smelled delicious. The final thing that awoke her was the itch on her nose. She tried to wiggle it off, but her eyes blinked open anyways. From the crust she could feel on the inner corners of her eyes, she could tell that she was probably asleep for quite awhile.
The first thing Jazali noticed was the different yet familiar location;  from what she last remembered⌠oh. She lost. Jazaliâs nose wrinkled in distaste. Well that was just dandy wasnât it. She tried to sit up but felt a sharp ache in her⌠well, everywhere. The little troll let out a hiss and quickly lay back down again on the⌠where was she again?
Jazali slowly blinked her eyes open and looked around: from what she saw it looked to be the living room of Malâs house, except the entire place was lit by the fireplace in front of her, setting a warm glow against the dark night sky outside. From her place on the floor, she could spy the scattered pillows that she was laying on against the floor and Mal stirring something delicious on a weird⌠bowl⌠pan⌠thing, on the fire.
Huh. Jaz thought that the elf was going to kill her for sure, not take her back inside and put her to sleep.
âOh good. Youâre finally awake.â Jazali jolted slightly and looked up, catching Malindaâs ever-watchful, glowing blue eyes. The night elf raised a thick brow and grunted. âI havenât had to use that technique in quite a while. Was getting worried that I did it wrong and you were in a coma.âJazali looked at the elf confusedly before swallowing whatever cotton was in her throat and croaked.
âH-...how l-long?â
âOh, about a day or two.â Malinda shrugged, before she turned to putting whatever she was cooking onto a leaf and started to fold it up.
The Darkspearâs eyes bugged out. Two days?! What did that elf do to her?! Mal must have caught Jazaliâs shocked expression, because she deadpanned âI knocked you out in self-defense. Excuse me for not knowing the side-effects of a monkâs fist against a berserking troll.â Jazali nervously looked away and pouted.
â...ainât my fault ya pissed me off.â Malinda ignored the jab and placed the suddenly neat, square leaf package onto a nearby plate as she chuckled.
âCanât deny you sneaked in some hard punches. Iâll be having a sore bruise on my neck, thatâs for sure. And probably explain to Kai why I have oneâŚâ
Jazali vaguely listened to Mal as she ever-so-slowly tried to sit up; the persistent aches of her complaining muscles certainly werenât helping. She had no idea what a âKaiâ was, but she hoped Mal wasnât expecting her to apologise. That elfy bitchy started it.
A moment passed before suddenly...
âOh, youâre hired by the way.â
The words didnât register at first, but when Jazali finally got past the light-headedness, and she finally caught the sentence, she whirled her head to Mal.
â...say whaâ?â
As the elf continued to fold squared leaf meals onto the plate, Malinda raised her eyes skyward as she hummed.
âWell..is âhiredâ the right word? Well, whatever, point is: while you were taking your time in la la land, your friend thought to send me another letter after I told him I refused to teach you.â
The Kaldoreiâs eyes hooded as her lips sneered quite⌠saltily âTurns out, heâs quite the persuasive bastard when he wants to be.  Never thought he would resort to blackmail, but let it never be said that I was never wrong before.â Malinda tilted her head up and regarded Jazali curiously. â...And Iâm surprised you held out in that fight for that long. Usually when I knock someone down, itâs for good, but it seems like youâre more stubborn than I thought.â As Jazali listened, she unconsciously leaned in and waited on baited breath. When she couldnât wait, the little troll finally asked impatiently.
âSo...ya gonna teach me?â Mal shrugged.
âLooks like it.â
âYAAY!â Jazali hurrayed with glee and threw her arms up into the air, but quickly let out a shout of pain and winced as her bruised arms protested heavily against the sudden movement. Mal rolled her eyes; this troll will probably be testing her patience many more times in the future.
âHold your horses, youâre not starting any time soon.â Malinda grumbled as she pushed a hand down on Jazali, forcing her to lie back again. The little troll pouted indignantly but leaned back anyways for the sake of relieving her muscles. âIâll just need to go get more shit and make sure youâre fine, then weâll start tomorrow morning, so get plenty of rest.â Malinda stood up and stretched her arms up high before walking towards her own bed. She glanced back at Jazali and warned. âAnd every piece of food I find missing in the pantry is another 10 laps I add to your exercises.â
With that, Malinda closed the door. Jazali blinked⌠but soon grinned widely as she reached down to the plate of snacks left for her and started munching away excitedly. She couldnât wait!
