A moment of weakness after a mission gone wrong... "How can you be so sure?" His question was a soft whisper, trembling with his emotions. He sat on the floor, arms resting on his knees as he bowed his head. He was still dressed in his uniform. Covered in dried and crusted blood. It was on his face, in his hair, but he honestly didn't care. He was so tired. "No matter how hard I try to keep from spilling blood, it's like the very universe designs to force me to it. Every mission I go on. It's always that. Me just... killing everything." Sure, they were the enemy of Shinra. It was his job to defend the company that provided for him and raised him. But as time dragged on and the body count grew higher... He wasn't so sure he could do it anymore. He was at his limit. He questioned if there would ever be an end to this. He lifted his head up, eyes glassy and unfocused as he looked off into the middle distance. He spoke low and evenly. His words empty of emotion. "I never told anyone, ever. But... what frightens me is the numbness. I don't feel sad for it. Or any sort of loss. It's like something is eating away at the humanity in me. I'm afraid that one day... there really will be nothing left. That I will finally and truly be that monster that they want me to be." He was still raw from the lass of his closest friends--- Angeal and Genesis. He hated to dump his issues on anyone, but... all he really had left was Jae now. Who would listen to him.
Neither of them were exactly 'morally upstanding' when one examined what they did. It didn't even have to be scrutinized all that closely- They killed, they oppressed. In the Turk's case, he lied- Seduced and abandoned people as though their mere existence was to be that of a tool for his use. He tortured people and he enjoyed it. Not the act of causing pain, so much as breaking an individual down to their base components and building them back up with his own hands. There was something... ritualistically purifying about it.
"The fact that you're having this moment of fear is what makes me dead certain. If you really didn't feel anything, then it would just be another day and another mission that needs carrying out. Nothing more and nothing less. You wouldn't be suffering through a moment of existential dread."
Yoon fires up a cigarette and takes a slow, deep drag- Allowing the tobacco rustica's effect to course through his body, driving away a developing withdrawal migraine and silencing his burgeoning appetite.
"I think that the worst thing about the first kill is how easy it is to do it. We've both been preparing or whole lives to live with that knowledge. Unenhanced humans are fragile to begin with," he replies almost dispassionately.
Life and death was a strategy game more than a 'dance', as some would describe it. There was an intimacy to taking someone's life, true- but what had he felt, if anything? When the .50 cal's stock pressed into the join between shoulder and ribcage, it was little more than muscle memory, a practiced movement. Laying on his belly in the humid overgrowth, his breathing falling into sync with his target's own- Studying the rise and fall of their chest, visualizing how it would feel to be walking beside them as they silently went about their daily routine that he'd studied like a textbook.
The earthen aroma of fresh coffee haunted his lips when his tongue had swept over them, felt the cloying heat of the steam rising from the ceramic mug. Breathing in unison, in and out, then holding himself and his lungs still for that perfect moment.
The bullet ripped through the tree line and left a trail of dirt and dust screaming in the wake of it's sheer velocity, flying thousands of meters between them until it struck home- Where a man once stood perusing the local newspaper, now there was merely a red mist. The impact was powerful, epic in the way that only the divine fist of a righteous God might be.
Whatever pieces were left of the body didn't even need collecting on his end, there was no closure, no proper burial. No words spoken to lay the soul to rest.
Had he felt anything at all in those tender moments between living and dying? When he was holding someone's trachea in between the crushing grip of his steely fingers, pressing up even closer than they already were chest-to-chest, bare flesh damp against his own in all of it's searing, clarified honesty. Watching their eyes go from hazy with lust and desire to something small and panicked, like a hare in the gaze of a descending goshawk with talons outstretched. Ready for the moment of truth, advancing swift and terrible and only for them.
How many times had he managed to reach the height of his own arousal while snuffing out the light from someone's eyes and watching their consciousness evaporate from their body like fog rising from a lake.
This was the difference, the stark and visible line drawn in the sand between them.
They both were killers, that much couldn't be contested at all. They were both damn good at what they did, but Sephiroth didn't seem to experience some perverse sense of... pride, from the things he did.
"If you're were a monster, I doubt you would've turned down the mission to eliminate Commander Rhapsodos. Or the mission to Banora."
It almost felt wrong to mention them like this, he didn't know either of the Firsts on a personal level- Merely as data. What was redacted from their files but only up to the level of his clearance- Not all was revealed to him so easily.
"You want an explanation, right? That's on their shoulders to handle, not mine."
He extends a hand, offering the lit cigarette, the smoldering ember steadily eating it's way through the paper towards the filter as it's spent remains turned to grey ash.
"It's not my answer to give or words that need to be spoken from my mouth, but I can help you find them. Whatever's next is up to you. Even when you're boxed in, there are choices you can make that you will either regret or spend the rest of your life trying to."

"Young K? I'm Young K!" Smiles at me, looking at my sign. I stare back smiling like an idiot. I thank him. I get yelled at by SubK staff for taking to long. I move along after apologizing.
"Hey how are you?" Jae asks, smiling at me and signing my poster.
"Uh.. nervous." I reply trying not to scream.
"Aw don't be nervous there's no reason to be." Jae slides the poster to the next member and I thank him, awkwardly taking a step to the left.

the first thing — your eyes looking in mine
“Ooh, do you remember this one? We took this on our first ever date. You were so cute then — not that you still aren't—” you pulled out the polaroid picture of the two of you from the album and showed it to Jaehyun, who was sitting beside you.
But he turned out to be staring at you.
His eyes were like an empty canvas, gradually being painted with love after every moment that passed. His eyes were always gentle. They looked at you with a softness you had never encountered before. The gaze that was filled with nothing but warmth and fondness. His eyes that spoke a thousand words at once. With a thousand tales to tell.
You were lost.
Lost in his eyes. For who knows how long. But all that mattered was that he was too.
“What?” you giggled when you saw him smile. “nothing, you're just really endearing,” he gushed.
This statement was soon followed by a shy smile taking over your face. He couldn't help but chuckle at this sight. How you'd always shy away whenever he complimented you. Or how you'd try to be the flirty one, but when he said something next, you'd be the flustered one.
He loved the fact that he still had the same effect on you.

the second thing — your smile
“hi bubs, and what's your name?” you crouched down to talk to the little toddler holding onto her mother's hand. “I'm Zoey!” the girl replied.
“Hi, Zoey! I'm y/n!” you flashed her your sweetest smile and put your hand forward for a handshake. She returned your smile with the same amount of affection and shook hands with you.
“And this is uncle Jaehyun,” you take Jaehyun by his hand and make him crouch down beside you.
“Hi, Zoey! That's such a pretty name!” Jaehyun cooed with delight. “Thank you,” the girl giggled, and you did too.
The way his smile grew wider, the dimples making an effortless appearance. He adored you so much, and you had no idea about it.
“Bye!” you waved Zoey and her mom goodbye and turned to look at a smiling Jaehyun.
His eyes, his lips, and his spirit all at once smiled at you. He paints a ray of sunshine all over his face. His smile lights up your world — always. His smile was one of happiness growing, much as a spring flower opens. You could see how it came from deep inside to light his eyes and spread into every part of him. In his sweet smile is all the love you'll ever need.
And there you went, falling for him all over again.

the third thing — your hand in mine
“Do you trust me?” he asked as he finished tying the black cloth on your eyes.
“with my life,” you replied, feeling the soft fabric of the clothing on your eyes.
“Well, then,” he smiles, taking your hand in his as he leads you to a surprise that awaits you.
The warmth of his hands penetrating through your skin. The way your hand fit perfectly in his. The feeling of his fingers intertwined with yours was one that couldn't even be described in words.
It felt like holding onto your world at your fingertips and never wanting to let go of it.
“And we're here! Please don't open your eyes until I tell you to do so,” he untied the cloth and ran to the other side.
“Can I open my eyes now?” you snickered because you kind of knew where this was going.
“Yes!” that was the last thing you heard before opening your eyes to a smiling Jaehyun holding a huge card that read, "”ill you be mine again?”
You slowly made your way to him, a candle-lit pathway made just for you. “happy 1st anniversary, love” he gave you a peck on the cheek as he kept the card down.
“you didn't have to do all this?!” you let out a shocked chuckle as you looked at the rest of the decoration. “Now you're making me feel bad that all I did was gift you a bottle of perfume!”
He smiled at your comment and took out something from his pocket. He went behind you, and you felt a cold chain making contact with your skin. He locked the necklace from the back and made you turn to face him.
“Don't feel bad — your presence itself is a gift from heaven above.”

the fourth thing — your ears when you're shy
You woke up to the sound of the sizzling of eggs on the pan. You broke into a big yawn as you sluggishly made your way towards the kitchen.
“Good morning to you too,” he chuckled when he looked at you barely able to open your eyes.
You instantly found yourself smiling when you heard his voice. You walked up to him and hugged him from behind, resting your chin on his shoulders as he continued cooking.
“we're eating eggs again?” you groaned out of boredom. “What did you want to eat?” He snickered.
You wore a sly grin as an idea hits you at the right moment, "I want you.” you whispered in his ear. His eyes slowly grew wide, processing whatever the fuck that you just said.
He turned around — only to see you, a laughing mess. And as soon as you saw that smirk on his face, you knew it was time to run.
“aww, your ears are turning red. What happened, loverboy? Were you flustered because of what I said?” You teased him as you both were waiting for the other one to leave their side of the couch and run.
It was one in a million moments when jaehyun was the flustered one, and you were the one who provoked him to be. And so, these moments really had to be the most memorable ones.
“Jae, no–” you sprinted to your room as he followed you. “Let's not–”
Your legs hit the end of the bed, and the next thing you knew was that you had fallen on the bed and jaehyun got on the bed with you, tickling the life out of you.
“Wait, do you smell that?” you said as you sniffed dramatically. Jaehyun stopped tickling you for a moment, and the look on his face when the realization hit him was honestly the funniest thing you had ever seen. You let out the weirdest chuckle when your heard him shouting in horror,
“my eggs!”

the fifth thing — your lips when we kiss
"”want a sip?” he offered you his coffee while you were sipping on yours. “How'd you know I wanted to try it?” You let out a soft chuckle while you take his coffee to try.
“I mean, even when you're sipping on yours, your eyes were on my drink. What else should I decipher it as?” he continued walking along with you, smiling when he saw your reaction to consuming his cup of coffee.
You let out a dissatisfied cough after drinking a little bit of his coffee. You hand him his coffee back. “How do you drink that stuff, dude?” you gulped hard, trying your best to get rid of the bitterness by taking long sips of your drink.
“Not like yours is that great,” he said in his cockiest tone in an attempt to provoke you.
You stopped on your tracks, disbelief was written all over your face, “Excuse you, for this is my best buddy!” you scoffed. Well, almost choked, but we won't talk about that right now.
“Then let me try yours—”
“Nope, sorry. And now you've lost the both of us.” Sure, you were fighting like an elementary school kid at that point. But in your defense— yeah, no. You were just being petty, and Jaehyun was just playing along.
You walk ahead of him while he stood there, trying to think of how to get back at you. An idea perks him as he looks at your figure slowly getting smaller the further you walked. He quietly jogged his way towards you, wearing a smug smile on his face.
Oh, dear y/n. You signed up for something you didn't know was about to come.
When he finally caught up to you, he tapped on your shoulder. As a reflex, making you turn around to look at who it was. But instead, you were met with a pair of lips on yours. Not just anybody, but the only guy ever, Jung Jaehyun.
Resistance — was something you were always pretty bad at. And especially when it came to Jaehyun.
No matter how hard you'd try, you always end up giving in. And as a matter of fact, that's what happened then too. He smiled in between the kiss, knowing very well that you had once again given in to him. Your other hand runs through his hair while he pulls you closer to himself, closing any distance between the two of you.
God, you missed kissing him.
He finally broke from the kiss, and started walking, leaving you totally confused. He wore a smile of triumph as he said, "I never liked Mocha anyway," not once did he look back at you before saying that.
For a hot minute, you were pretty confused as to what he meant by that. And that's when you understood that he was talking about the coffee.
You stood there, totally baffled — screaming on top of your lungs while he still kept walking,
“Get back here, Jung gorgeous-ass-man-who-just-tricked-me-like-that Jaehyun!”

the sixth thing — your voice when you call out my name
“you coming?” you shouted as you got out of the water, walking your way up to where jaehyun was standing. He seemed to have been writing something on the wetter side of the sand.
“And, done!” He presented you with the small surprise he had prepared for you. You smiled when you saw what it was. He took you by your hand, giving it a kiss before making you stand beside him.
“Jaehyun + y/n forever” he read it out loud while pointing at the sand.
The way your name rolled off his tongue so easily, yet giving it its own unique color. It felt foreign but at the same time, it was so familiar and resounded through your whole self. No matter how many times he calls out your name, something about it still gives you a sense of serenity and you could never get tired of it.
“you plus me forever indeed,” you softly said, burying your head in the crook of his neck as you hugged him.

the seventh I like the most that you do — you make me love you
“This is the last one for today, I promise,” Jaehyun said as you both climbed up the stairs of an unknown building. You both entered what looked like an empty terrace with a bench in one of the corners.
He sat on the bench and signaled you to sit beside him. “We're ready!” he shouted.
You were kind of confused by whatever that was going on at that moment. “For what?” you looked at him. Anticipation getting the best of you when you saw the proud look on his face.
“For that,” he put both his hands forward, pointing at the other side of the terrace, basically the wall.
And that's when the led lights lit up, and you could see some words coming the other way like a long led banner.
He read, “There are days when I feel down, and there are days when I feel joy, but the best part of it is going through it all with — you. I know what I'm going to say next is kind of cheesy, but”
This time he turned to you, reaching out for your hand “— will you be my once upon a time?”
It was like the flower of love bloomed once again. There’s something about him that you find so intriguing. Something to his aura that never fails to bring in pleasant surprises. It was like this weird force of attraction that never failed to make you fall for him all over again — if that was even possible.

But as history has seen it before, every story has an ending. And the one of yours and jaehyun's was of no exception.

Love Letter | Hyunjae (The Boyz Imagine)
Hyunjae Royal! Au x Baker Reader
A/n: Requested by anon! So sorry it took so long but I hope you like it!

You opened the door to your room to come face to face with none other than Lee Jaehyun's smirk.
You scowled, "what?"
"Don't be so rude Y/N," Hyunjae said good-naturedly as you all but stormed into your room. Granted, you were just a mere pastry girl working for the Royal Family at Tiseling and clearly had no right to raise your voice at the prince, but Jaehyun was no prince. He was like a wolf disguised in sheep's clothing: in public he was the perfect portrait of ideal man who knew how to charm, knew how to talk and knew how to twist his words to catch the hearts of his people. In private though, he was just a boy with a voice louder than words and a countenance that was so transparent it was impossible for you to see him as something other than just a guy your age who enjoyed your company.
And maybe a little bit more.
You had been hiding your feelings for so long that it felt like second nature to feel your heart beat slightly faster, to feel heat burn through your cheeks whenever he was close. It was, of course, a secret you planned to carry to your grave, did not give in no matter how much the rest of the girls in the kitchen urged you to deploy your own feelings as though you were part of their fanbase and Jaehyun was a god that they worshipped.
You couldn't. Because as much as you hated to admit it, there was something -- an undeniable little spark -- whenever you hung out. Jaehyun knew how to flirt, and knew how to flirt well.
You felt it. You felt the way his stare implored yours with silent questions you couldn't answer, just because he was royalty and you were nothing in comparison.
"So? What do you want?" You went to sit down on your bed while Jaehyun straightened up from previously leaning onto your desk.
"I wanted to talk to you about something."
"And you had to slither into my room to do so?"
"If maids found me outside your door, there'd be lots of questions to be answered," he shot you a reproachful look, "and we don't want that."
Again, a pang of hurt resonated through your ribcage. Of course, your bloodlines weren't meant to interact after all. He was totally out of your league.
It wasn't fair.
You cleared your throat and crossed your arms, aa if protecting yourself from any further painful statements that might be thrown your way, "okay so? I need to start on the cakes for today's banquet so I don't have much time."
"I found this by accident," as he spoke, he pulled out a piece of folded paper from his pant pocket, "I think it might be yours."
Frowning, you grabbed it from him and tried not to linger on how big his hand was in comparison to yours. Beautiful hands. Man's hands.
Those thoughts instantly flew out of your mind the moment your eyes registered the words scribbled inside.
Your mouth went dry. It felt suddenly hard to breathe.
This wasn't just any scribble. This was a love letter.
Your love letter, addressed to the prince.
"Where--" you choked on your own words, "where did you find this?"
"Two maids found it lying in the corridor. I caught them just in time before they could give it to my father."
"What about--"
"They won't talk," his gaze hardened, "I promise you that."
Eyes lowering towards the said love letter, you read through them once more and realized that you had indeed misplaced it a few weeks back, when your heart couldn't take the emotional pain and so you decided to pour it out on this page.
And now, it was poured out to Hyunjae as well.
"So you're going to tell me what was that," he jerked his chin towards the paper you now crumpled in your hands, "about?"
You bit your lip, took a moment to answer, "does it make a difference?"
Hurt flashed across his face, "don't say that."
"It'a true though," you shot back, "what I feel doesn't mean shit to you either way. You're the Prince of Tiseling and you're bound to be betrothed any day. What difference does it make if a mere pastry girl has a crush on you?"
"Because it's you Y/N," Jaehyun lips pressed into a thin line, "it matters because it's you."
The force of his words rendered you silent, though you weren't quite clear as to what he was implying. It didn't make sense that he'd care so much, except...maybe all your imaginary ponderings did mean something.
"Look," Jaehyun advanced forward, closing the gap between your bodies with each step and though your brain screamed at you to get away, your feet were roots attached firmly to the ground, "the truth is that I like you, Y/N. And don't say that I'm speaking nonsense," he raised his voice upon noticing the rising protest on your face, "when I'm around you it's like, you're a friend to me. Not my servant, nor a baker. You treat me like I'm just like you and honestly that's one of the best things that's happened to me."
It was hard to process the weight of his speech, words like 'like' and 'friend' and 'best' bouncing around in your brain like ping pong balls as you struggled to make sense of what he was trying to tell you.
"You--" you bit down onto your lower lip, "can you say that again?"
"What?" Jaehyun stepped even closer, so close his chest merely brushed yours, "that I like you?"
And before you could do anything else, he'd backed you right against the door of your room while his lips pressed down yours, a parched man in search of water, kissing you until your legs turned to jelly and your heart ricocheted through your chest.
You wound your arms around him on instinct, pressing closer and elicting a small gasp when his hands traced the small of your back in a surprisingly gentle manner. Tilting his head to capture your lips at a better angle, he kissed you with passion, with a force that mustered all of the restrained emotion he'd kept locked away in the depths of his chest and that he was finally able to let out in the open, a pandora's box of illegal desires that swirled between your bodies.
You moved together, so comfortably, so naturally that it was hard to imagine how you hadn't done this before. The prince allowed you to come up for air by unlatching his mouth from yours, before settling at your jaw and starting a slow trail of heated butterfly kisses along your cheek while your hands found his hair and twisted through his locks, gaze unfocused towards the ceiling.
"You are going to regret this," you mumbled out, hating how wanton your voice sounded.
"I don't think so," Hyunjae murmured in response. Eyes lifting to yours, you almost teared up from the softness in his gaze. He was looking at you as though you carried the moon in his sky and that made your heart quiver with emotion.
"I don't promise that it's going to be easy," he continues softly aa his hands strokes your cheek, "but it might be worth the risk."
"I don't--I don't know Jaehyun. It's...it's a lot of secrets. A lot of hiding. I don't like hiding."
"I know but I'll tell my parents, okay?" He searched your gaze, "and whether they agree or not, I'm sticking with you, even if that means getting rid of that stupid prince title."
You couldn't help a small bubble of laughter, "it's not stupid."
" 'Tis to me."
There was a moment of silence in which he allowed you to ponder over his words. Jaehyun was right on many counts and to say that you didn't believe him when he said he'd givr up everything was a lie. Jaehyun was impulsive by nature, and what he wanted, he got.
And right now, what he wanted was you.
"Okay," your words were barely a hint of a whisper, "we could try it out."
The most beautiful smike broke across his face then, like a little boy that received his birthday present early, "really?" He perked up, "you mean that?"
"On the condition that you try and talk to your family about it first," you shot him a look, "I don't want to stand between you and your parents. They're family, Jae. You can't throw that away so easily."
"Sure I can."
You scowled and he relented.
"Fine fine, I'll talk to them. I promise," he snuggled into the crook of your neck, whispering, "it won't be easy, though."
"I know."
"But it doesn't matter right? 'Cause you actually like me back."
"Did anyone ever tell you how obnoxious you were?"
"But you like me that way."
"Sure."
A comfortable silence emerged as you enjoyed each other's company. That was before the said prince decided to bring back a topic of the paat that had really piqued his interest in the first place.
"So about that love letter..."

A/N: This is all just for fun, I do not own any of the gifs I use, and please enjoy! This kinda sucks, but like honestly I wanted to get something out.
Warning: Mafia type scenarios, gore, minor language, and yandere themes.
All of this started three years ago when you met him. Park Sungjin, the man of your dreams and nightmares, but you didn't know that last part yet. Everything about him was like a fantasy, something out of a drama or storybook You'd met Sungjin at a club in the city, your friend had dragged you down with her, although you wanted nothing to but to stay home and eat shit loads of ice cream. Honestly, you hated clubs. You weren't a fan of the strobe lights, loud music, or even busty crowds. Your friend did what you predicted she would do, she found a hot guy and stayed with him the whole night.

That's when Sungjin had made his way over to you. He offered to buy you a drink, and typically you would say no, but something was different about Sungjin than the typical guy who just wanted to get in your pants. No, he was different. Instantly, he pulled you into his charm with his visuals alone. Sungjin is a very good-looking guy, you had to give him that. Then, he pulled you in with how much of a gentleman he is, talking you up the whole night making sure you weren't lonely. After all, that's why he was intrigued by you because you were alone.
Long story short, you ended up going home with him that night. Hooking up with the guy you just meant, another reason why you liked him, he knew how to treat you in bed. Usually, one-night stands don't go anywhere else, but what you did with Sungjin was not a one-night stand. God, even being him with one night was enough to get hooked on him, he was like a drug you couldn't quit. For the next three years, you'd be with him, both of you began dating.
Another attractive trait about Sungjin was that he had money, but he never told you his job. At first, it didn't bug you, maybe he just forgot to mention it. Then, it got weird. Sungjin, throughout your relationship, was always protective of you. After four months of dating each other, he convinced you to move into his well-kempt house. You obliged, of course, you lived in a studio apartment since that's all your waiting job could afford. Well, anyway, his house was big not a mansion big but big enough to have at least five bedrooms. In the beginning of living there, you loved every minute of it. You would go to bed each night with the man you loved laying next to you, in the morning you would relax, eat, watch tv, or go on your phone to play games or text your friend. Eventually, you'd go to work at the hellhole you called a diner.
Sungjin was good to you, every morning he'd make you this nice breakfast, talk you up, make sure you had everything you wanted. Nice clothes, a new phone, etc. He spoiled you, but with a rule. You couldn't leave the house or talk to anyone. You realized it slowly, Sungjin would always find an excuse to make sure you stayed in the house, one time your tires were popped forcing you to stay in. Then, suddenly, the cell line went out and so did the internet at his house. He'd said he would get a guy to come out and fix it, but a year went by after that empty promise. Somehow, just somehow, he convinced you to leave your job because he could provide for you.
That's when you began to question Sungjin, you loved this man you didn't want to believe he was crazy in keeping you. But facts are facts, he was possessive and unnecessarily scared of you getting hurt. One day, you got so fed up with this bullshit, you wanted to go see your friends, even go to your job which seemed like a paradise to the hell you lived in. You asked him the question you needed answered the most, just what was Sungjin's job?
The answer you got, after years of dating him, made your heart drop. Mafia, he told you he was a mafia boss for Day6, the most feared, ruthless, violent mafia in the whole world. It explained so much though, his money, the reason he was scared to let you go was that he was afraid you would get hurt by his enemies or the fact he made you drop everything for him.
Three years later, while he was out on a business trip, you planned your great escape. A small, duffle bag housed your belongings. You didn't want to take everything you had because you didn't want to be reminded of the man you were running away from. You loved Sungjin, but his job and his obsessiveness made you want to leave him, you were depressed. Following the big reveal that he's in the mafia, he officially assigned his men to watch you when he couldn't. Twenty-four-seven they watched you, and if you tried to leave the house they would call Sungjin. Then you really got an earful.
Perfectly, you studied each of the men who patrolled the house, studying their patterns of movement, and different shifts they had. You knew the perfect time to run away was 10:24 p.m because the men guarding the back door into the woods were eating dinner.
Carefully, you made your escape, executing your plan flawlessly. That was two months ago that you successfully escaped from your boyfriend's hands. You ran away to a remote town, a place where you were sure Sungjin would never find you. You even got a remote job, this time not as a waitress, but as a secretary for a company. The job was easy mainly you answered phones and booked meetings, occasionally checking people in. Overall it was an easy job, you even had a nice two-bedroom apartment shared with your friend, Irene. Ignoring her for three years made her confused and hateful of you, but after you told her the whole story she gladly wanted to help you escape from Sungjin. You were so lucky for her.
Life was going good for you, so you thought, Sungjin was out of your life and was now just an echo in your heart.
Doing your normal routine, you found yourself at work again, this time late at night working overtime. Normally, no one called past seven, but your boss had informed you that a new client would be calling later on in the night. You were forced to stay, but honestly, you didn't mind all you needed was to help plan a meeting, and then you could go home and sleep.
The building was almost empty when the client called, the ringtone so loud in the silence that it made you jump. Finally, though, they called!
"Hello, thank you for calling the PurpleHeart Foundation, how may I help you," you spoke, a line for line in what you were taught to say.
Silence, pure silence is all you heard on the other line, so you spoke up again.
"Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?"
"Y/N...," a broken voice spoke up, taking you back at the sudden change on the other line. "Dear god! Y/N! Help me!"
You recognized that voice anywhere, "Irene? Is that you?"
"Y/N, Y/N," she chanted, her voice in a sob. She sounded like she was in pain, struggling to get words out. "Call the police-Call someone, just don't come home-FUCK!"
Your heart dropped, nausea bubbling in your stomach as you heard a loud crash from the other line followed by her high-pitched
screams.
"Irene," you urgently began, keeping the phone up to your ear but packing your work bag in the process. "What's going on?"
You were thinking the worst, that someone broke into your house or a basic crime was, unfortunately, happening to the both of you. Life
just wasn't that simple for you.
"Y/N," another voice, a man's voice, called your name calmly.
You froze on the spot, that voice, you knew that voice all too well. That voice that used to comfort you, make you happy, whisper into
your ear seductively, and make you miserable.
You gulped audibly, terror flowing through you. You were in shock, he found you, he actually found you, after you were so careful!
"Sungjin."
"If you want your friend to live, I suggest you come here right now."
"Sungjin, if you hurt her," you panicky tried to get through to him. "I swear to god-"
Then the line went dead.
"Son of a bitch," you spoke out loud.
Slamming the office phone down, you slung your bag over your shoulder, running out the door and hastily to your apartment complex that wasn't too far away. Hopefully, he wouldn't do
anything to Irene as long as you hurried up.
Jogging up the stairs to your specific apartment, the door was slightly ajar. This was the moment, after two months and no warning of leaving him, you were going to see Sungjin yet again. Carefully, you opened the door instantly your focus went to Irene who sat right in front of the door, purposely for you to see.
"Irene," you yelled, falling to her aid completely disregarding your bag in the process. "Oh my god, I'm sorry," you cried out. She was bloody from the wound on her head, legs and arms tied up too, she looked barely conscious not responding to you either. She had been
hit in the head one too many times.
"Love."
A shiver went down your spine, your gaze now fixed on the man sitting in the chair in your living room. Other men stood, specifically his henchmen Jae, Wonpil, Dowoon, and Brian, quietly next to him awaiting your conversations.
"What are you doing here," you got up, speaking through gritted teeth.
Sungjin didn't look amused, instead, he sat in his crisp, black suit with a leg crossed and an emotionless expression. A deadly gaze thrown at you, he was unmistakeably mad and you were the cause.
Still, anger took over you, and the need to correct him on what he was doing overwhelmed you. His silence was unbearable.
"What the fuck do you want," you yelled, hot tears running down your cheek at your frustration and guilt. "Why the fuck are you here!"
"I wouldn't need to be here if you never had left me," he spoke smoothly, despite your enraged tone.
Sungjin got up out of the chair, instinctively, you took a step back even if he was nowhere near you. "Did you really think I'd never find you," he said, picking up a picture frame on your couch's side table.
It was a picture of you, Irene, and Irene's boyfriend. Your family, really, that's what they are to you. Both of them are the closest people you have.
"You left a life of luxury for a secretary job, and them," he held up the frame. Practically mocking your choice of lifestyle.
"Life of luxury," you scoffed, thinking carefully at your words. Sungjin killed people, you knew that, and the last you wanted was Irene or you to get shot by him. Sungjin wore a blazer to cover his gun, thankfully you remembered that.
"I was a prisoner in your house-"
"Our house," he corrected you.
You swallowed the anger before continuing.
"Luxury is not what I would call that. I had no freedom because of your obsessive, possessive nature!"
"I was protecting you." Sungjin took the picture and threw it across the room, the sudden action making you flinch. When he's quieter, he's irate, and you didn't want to fuck with that.
"I had to leave you, there was no other way."
"Do you not love me," he simply asked, turning his head to make direct eye contact with you.
"Sungjin," you muttered out.
You couldn't answer that question, the relationship you shared was toxic and, at times, made you depressed. But he treated you so well, so delicately with love. Yes, you still loved him, after all, he did to you and you hated yourself for that.
"Answer the question, love," he darkly said. His eyes trained on yours, casually he strode his way towards you, your body unable to move under his icy stare.
"Please," you sobbed, more tears flushing out of your eyes.
"Should I answer it for you?"
He stopped right when he was in front of you, his height towering over you making you feel small. Languidly, he raised his calloused hand to your throat making you shutter with the memories of you both flooding back to you. His fingers tightened around your neck cutting off your airway lightly, forcing you to look at him the whole time. His breath lingered on your lips, making you yearn for that kiss you haven't felt in so long.
"My love, why deny it. You love me, just as much as I love you."
Inching his way down, both of your lips met each other. Leaving you both with a chaste kiss and a desire for more.
"Either," he started, as he pulled away from the lips he missed kissing so dearly. "You can come home where you belong, or I can kill your friend and drag you home. Which one do you prefer?"

“What do you mean by, ‘Don’t be pissed.’?! You decide to eat my ramen and fake your death for 2 years?!” This wasn’t real. Hyuck stood in front of one of his best friends, Na Jaemin. Or an alternative name, ‘Missing Dumbass’. “What can I say, I knew you would remember me if I left with something of yours.” Jae smiled with a shrug of his shoulders as he opened his friend’s fridge.
“I mean. Duh. Welcome back and all but why is the first thing you properly greet, the ‘fridge’?” Hyuck asked as he walked over and tried closing the door that hid all of his treasure: food. “You literally just scolded me like a child and you’re mad at ME for not giving you a nice warm hug?!” Jaemin’s words bounced off of deaf ears. “and for your information, Donghyuck-ah...I’m hungry?” Jaemin looked puzzled as he started to raid the cabinets. “It’s 4 AM.” “I haven’t eaten yet.” Jaemin was now being chased by Hyuck around the small kitchen.
Jaemin made a game as he opened a cabinet to have Hyuck close it right after. Another one. Another. Another. “Want me to be a mother? I will get my belt in a seco- put my spatula down!”

No one knew this was coming, honestly. Donghyuck had gotten comfortable in his onsie and already logged out of his games, getting ready for a nice long sleep. Then...banging.
“I swear to God, Renjun. If you make me check under your bed one more ti-” Then he was met face to face with...a face he once knew very well. A blue mop of hair laid on top of the boy’s head. A jersey thrown on top of a dark hoodie with baggy jeans and skate shoes. Definitely not what Hyuck imagined Jaemin looking like after going missing for 2 years.
“Uh.” Hyuck stalled, the hall light dimmed for the rest of the world who was asleep. “You got food?” Jae pushed past him and directly to the kitchen, not even bothering to take his shoes off. “Bread or something?” “Hello?” Jaemin acted so normal in the most abnormal situation.
“Where the hell have you been?” Hyuck looked at the time, 3:52 AM blinked on the oven. “The club. Sorry to worry you, Mom.” Jae started to get a pan out and filled it with water. “Where do you keep the noodles?” He started opening the cabinets and drawers restlessly. “I’m out...Going to pick up more later- Are you drunk?” “No. Do you have anything?” “Not really.” Jae just stood in the middle of the small kitchen to throw his head up to the ceiling and whine.
“I can go run to the store if you need me to.” Hyuck grabbed his keys that laid on the counter top. “No, it’s fine. I’m fine.” “No you’re not. You show up with BLUE hair and you tell me, ‘I’m fine.’?” Hyuck stood with one hand on his hip, the other pointing to his taller friend.
Jaemin just looked around. “And don’t forget how pissed I am about what you did before you decided to run off and be little mr. independent.” Donghyuck’s nagging had definitely developed after not hearing it for the past years. “Ew. You’re turning into me, stop.” “Well someone had to hold it together for the kids.” An eye roll was earned from Jaemin.
“Everyday Jaemin. I pay the bills, I do the grocery shopping, teaching my classes to come home to dishes overflowing from the sink and the chicken hasn’t been thawed...the rice hasn’t been washed. I drive Jisung to school-” “His classes are across the street from his apartment-” “Don’t patronize me.” Donghyuck slapped the top of his friend’s head, a finger pointed in the hungry boy’s face.
“Don’t be pissed.” Jae pushed his friend’s finger out of his face. That was the last straw.

“Which one?” Donghyuck asked as he watched Jaemin scan the options of instant meals from the 7-11 shelves. “Oooo. This one.” He picked up a nice-looking meal and automatically took off towards the ice cream. He grabbed an arm full as Hyuck could physically hear his wallet weep.
“Anything else?” He asked out of politeness. “Yeah. You get something.” Jaemin motioned to the whole store with a flick of his head. “No thanks. I’m not really in the mood to eat.” Hyuck shook his head as he walked closer to the check-out. The grumbling in his stomach made him bite his inner lip.
Jaemin let all of the merchandise fall onto the counter without a care as a candy bar was added to the top. “Is this all?” The cashier asked the man in the onsie with a wallet in the line of vision. Donghyuck nodded with a small sigh as he saw the total a couple dollars under his current life-savings.
He didn’t think. Just swiped.
Jaemin walked out happily munching on a random ice cream. “Are you sure you don't want one?” He asked as he held the bag up to his friend’s face. Hyuck could only shake his head no as they made the walk back to the apartment.
“Thank you for paying.” Jaemin minded his manners and it fell onto deaf ears again.
The rest of the walk was silent as the early morning air nipped at both of their cheeks.
Jae made himself at home on the couch as Donghyuck locked the door. He walked in to see Jae with his feet up and TV remote in hand. “I’m going to get ready.” Hyuck sighed as he walked into his bedroom.
He began changing when he heard the front door open. In panic, he raced out of the room to see if Jaemin was still here. He was, but now a shocked and semi-petrified Jisung stood in the entry way.
“Jae-Jaemin?” Jisung asked and Jaemin looked over to see Hyuck too tired for any of this. “I’m the ghost of Jaemin.” Jae moved his hands in a weird way which had Jisung reeling towards him to pull his hair.
“Ow.” “You are real!” Jisung shouted which made a shrill of pain go through Hyuck’s brain.
“And I’m going to finish getting ready.” Donghyuck removed himself to finish preparing himself for the day. A fatigued headache made home in his head as he grabbed his glasses and empty wallet.
“Can we go to 7-11 for breakfast?” Jisung asked and Hyuck wanted to scream. “I don’t think that’s an option for today, Jwi.” He patted the taller boy’s back. Jisung nodded and grabbed his bag. “Are you still going to be here when I get back?” The youngest boy’s eyes could make anyone cry but the question just hit a little too hard.
“Uh.” Jaemin looked down to his lap. “Yeah.” His smile was faltering but it seemed somewhat genuine. Jisung didn’t know better and walked out of the door to go to school. Donghyuck followed but made sure to look at his close friend on the couch.
“We want you back around. But, if you don’t think it’s time yet. The door is where you left it.” And with that, he was driving Jisung to school.

“Today...” Donghyuck looked out into the eyes of his students. “I have to grade. So you are dismissed.” The students jumped up and ran out of the classroom in a cheer. The fact is that Hyuck hadn’t gotten sleep in 48 hours and he was sparking. He had settled down to TRY and grade but found himself slipping.
He picked up his pen and started reading over the papers with ease.

“Donghyuck-ah.” Next thing you know, Hyuck actually woke up and looked down to see the papers un-graded. Taeyong and Mark stood before him and he quickly rose to his feet to bow. “I apologize for falling asleep.” “No matter to that now. We have a problem.” Mark spoke and Hyuck thought his heart skipped a beat.
“Follow us.”
He didn’t miss a beat as he followed his leaders down the hall of the academic buildings. Things were quiet...almost too quiet.

He was just here...why did he leave again?

Jaemin had run off again. The Junior Forces felt different again. It only felt normal for a day then...hurting replaced the feeling of being complete once again. “I miss Jaemin.” Jisung muttered as he sat in-between Chenle and Hyuck. “We’re going to get him back. Don’t worry.” Chenle tried his best to comfort his friend.
Yet, Hyuck was trying not to pass out in the seat. Tiredness turned into sickness. Hungry and cold as the glass holding his head up kept rattling.
I didn’t mean for him to leave again
Mark pulled up to the coordinates and Donghyuck was the first to get out. It’s not that he cared the most...he felt like he was obligated to bring back his brother. It wasn’t the same without him.
Everyone was shocked to see that they were at cliffs that overlooked the sea. Just grass...grass...edge.
They all looked at each other before slowly stalking towards the side of the drop-off. They looked down to see Jaemin laying on a lower ledge. Hands under his head and his feet swinging to the beat of the music coming out of his phone.
“Ja-” Jisung was cut off by Jeno throwing a hand over his mouth. “Don’t scare him off.” Jeno warned and the younger stayed quiet. Tear streaks illuminated Jaemin’s face as the sun was beginning to make way for the moon.
“I got this.” Hyuck spoke and broke through the wall of boys; the gun being put back into the holster on his leg. He hopped back into the car and instructed Lele to drive to the nearest 7-11.
In and out. Ramen and iced coffee. When he got back he saw the rest of the boys just silently lounging on the grass. Jisung was sleeping on Renjun’s legs as the sun was going down more. “Did he move?” Hyuck asked as Mark trailed by him. “No. But he was yelling a little while ago. Something about dying?” Mark questioned and Hyuck didn’t need to hear anymore.

He didn’t waste time in jumping down the small cliff onto the next landing. Jaemin didn’t even acknowledge his brother as he stared into the sunset.
They both stared into the setting sky painted with vibrant colors of red and oranges. Hyuck sighed in relief as he finally sat down. He took Jae’s hand and put the cold coffee can into it. “They had your favorite.” Donghyuck bumped his elbow lightly. “And I got the ramen you like. It was on sale so I got you two.” Hyuck held both up in his hands.
The sniffles brought his attention up to his blue-headed friend. The boys who looked over the edge were shocked at what happened next. Donghyuck threw his arms around his friend, bringing Jaemin’s head to his chest. The sobs broke all of their hearts and made Hyuck become misty-eyed himself.
“We’re here for you. I promise.” Hyuck nodded, swallowing the lump in his throat. “We.” The first tear fell as he tried to take a deep breath. “We just want you safe. We want you home.” As both the boys were crying and holding one another, the others couldn’t help but getting choked up.
“I didn't mean to be away for so long. But I got- I got hurt and I didn't want to ask,” Jae sat up and tried to take a deep breath. “I didn’t wan-want to ask for help.” He caught sight of the boys who listened intently. “I wanted to pick up Jisung from school but-but I got up and hurt my back again and wanted to run away again.” He confessed as he looked to the sleepy Jisung who had tears in his eyes.
“And I’m still hurt. I don’t know why I came back-” “Hey. Enough of that.” Hyuck rubbed his friend’s back soothingly. “And I realized I drained your bank account when I came back. And I feel,” The sobs ceased for a deep breath, “horrible.” Hyuck brought him in for another hug. “I’m just glad you came home.” He reassured the boy in front of him.
“We want you home. Even if you need another 2 years to recover, Jae. That’s okay.” Mark piped in and the boys hummed their understanding. “This. This isn’t healthy.” Renjun hopped down to the ledge where Hyuck and Jaemin sat. He took a seat on the other side of Jae and gave a sad smile.
“We’re not us when you’re not around. You’re like...” Renjun was at a loss for words. “Our missing puzzle piece.” Jeno finished and everyone turned to him where his arm was strung around Chenle’s shoulders.
“Please come home.” Lele added quietly and Jae thought for a moment. “...I...” He started but lost his words as quickly as they came.
He faced towards the sunset again and folded his legs under him. He was never good with words and they all understood that. It was okay.
He was okay.
“The sun is about to set.” He whispered and all the boys came onto the tiny cliff to surround their long lost friend in a warm huddle. Someone’s hand was rubbing Jae’s back lovingly, but no one knew who as the tangle of love wrapped them all up with each other.
Once the sun finally fell below the sea, they still sat there. “I’m ready to go home.” Jae choked and he was helped up and off of the cliff back to the car. Hyuck’s arm was thrown over the taller boy’s shoulder.
Jaemin got the window seat as they drove all the way back to Seoul. The rest of the boys dozed off into la-la land as Mark drove silently. Hyuck stayed awake to look over the group while Jaemin watched as the rain poured down on the windows. The city lights were streaked memories of being on the run.
Donghyuck’s head started bobbing up and down halfway through the drive. He was losing his battle with staying awake for the rest of the trip. Jaemin took note as he guided Hyuck’s head to lay on his shoulder.
“Thank you.” Was all that the boy could mutter. “And one more thing, Jae.” He took the strength he had left to look up at the boy. “If you ever kill yourself. I’m gonna kill you.” Jaemin looked confused as he made sure all of the other boys were sleeping.
Jisung was curled up next to Chenle, Renjun was holding onto Jeno as they both snored softly. Jae looked back to Hyuck. “What are you talking about?” He asked and Hyuck was already half-asleep on his shoulder.
“Mark said you were yelling on the cliff. Something about dying.” Hyuck said groggily taking out his phone and earbuds. “Oh. My phone died in the middle of my playlist.” Jae chuckled and had no time to react before an earbud was being shoved into his ear.
“Good. ‘Cause I was gonna beat you up when I woke up.” Music was turned on and Hyuck curled up into Jaemin’s side one last time.
Jae would make eye contact with Mark through the rearview mirror every now and again, flashing a smile that all the boys missed very much.
Yet, Jae found himself being distracted with looking out the window every time he felt a rush or serenity. He hummed some of the songs before passing out against the window himself.
They all slept feeling full and complete with one another.
They got their missing puzzle piece.

Now or Never - Part 3

You were trying to tell yourself that this wasn’t the worst Christmas you’d ever had... You were really trying.
But after a week at Kevin’s house, you couldn’t keep lying to yourself.
His parents were... Well. Let’s just say, the three of you didn’t quite see eye-to-eye on some things. A lot of things.
They were polite, of course. As were you. But boy did you feel incredibly awkward around them.
The fact that Kevin’s parents were so awful made you miss your parents even more than you already did. And, weirdly enough, it made you miss Jae’s parents and grandparents, too. They were always so nice to you, treating you as if you were actually their family instead of just Jae’s friend.
Throughout this entire week, you’d been texting Jae almost constantly, asking what he was doing and making him tell his grandparents that you wished you were there.
Because you really did. If you knew it wouldn’t totally and completely offend your boyfriend and his family, you would’ve left and gone to Jae’s house days ago.
Kevin, of course, was getting increasingly irritated with all your texting. He still tried to convince you to stop being friends with Jae, and it honestly made you wonder if he was just stubborn or if he was missing a few brain cells. Literally, nothing could make you stop being friends with Jae, and you couldn’t understand why Kevin couldn’t understand that.
Then, one night closer to the end of break, Kevin told you one of his friends from high school was having a party. He slid his arms around you from behind, placed some gentle kisses on your neck, and murmured that you owed him some attention since you’d been glued to your phone so much.
“Going to this party with me is the perfect way to make it up to me,” he pointed out before kissing just behind your ear.
And, okay fine. He was right.
And also the spot just behind your ear was your weakness, and you would practically do anything after being kissed there.
So, you went to the party. You met a bunch of Kevin’s friends from high school. You sipped some sort of alcoholic beverage from a red Solo cup. And you didn’t even get your phone out of your pocket.
...For the first fifteen minutes.
But Kevin kind of abandoned you!
I mean, not really, but he went somewhere with his friends, and even though he said he’d be right back, he didn’t come right back, and you knew nobody there, and you didn’t feel like making new friends, and what else were you supposed to do?!
You found a chair in a corner, plopped down, and started texting Jae.
You were just about to type out another message, reminding Jae he had yet to tell you what he was doing, but someone suddenly grabbed your phone right out of your hands.
“Hey!” you cried instinctively, your gaze snapping up to see who the thief was.
“I knew I should’ve made you leave your phone at home,” Kevin chuckled. But when he actually looked at your screen, any amusement in his face faded instantly. “Seriously? You’re texting him again?”
“He’s my --” You sprang from your chair and reached for your phone -- to no avail. “-- Best friend!”
You had to get your phone out of your boyfriend’s hands before he actually read --
“Excuse me?!” he laughed, his brow furrowed deeply as his eyes sped across your screen. “That was pretty shitty of me? That’s lame, Bro? Why did you even come tonight if you were going to be so bored?”
“You wanted me to come!” you retorted. “And I wouldn’t have been bored if you hadn’t deserted me!”
“I did not desert you, don’t be so dramatic. I went to go say ‘Hi’ to some old friends for a few minutes.”
“Well, it was long enough to make me feel deserted.”
“And so your first reaction was to text him?”
“I don’t understand your beef with him!”
“I don’t understand why you’re constantly texting him when you should be texting me!” Kevin countered, his eyes shifting back to your phone. He scrolled up your conversation, and you once again tried to grab it away from him -- to no avail.
Scrolling up in your messages with Jae would only lead to more arguing because, for the past week and a half, you’d basically only been complaining and telling Jae you wanted to be at his house instead of Kevin’s.
“What -- what the fuck is this?!” Kevin cried after a few moments.
“Give me --” you muttered, attempting to take your phone back one more time.
“If you didn’t want to come, then you could have said ‘no’!” he spat. “Jesus! How do you think this makes me feel?! Seeing my girlfriend has been texting another guy all this time, saying she would rather be with him?!”
“It’s not like that!” you groaned with exasperation. “I just -- you can tell that your parents don’t really like me, and I get along really well with Jae’s family --”
“Then you should have gone home with him,” he grumbled.
“But I wanted to be with you!”
“Well, I find that pretty hard to believe right about now.” He looked back at your phone, scrolling through the messages again. “According to all of these messages, all you want to do is complain about me. Are you fucking kidding me?!”
“Kev, come on,” you whined. You stepped up to him, putting a hand on his upper arm as your brow furrowed deeply.
He dodged your touch, though, moving away from you and throwing your phone onto the chair you’d just occupied.
“You don’t want to be here? Fine,” he sneered. “Leave.”
But then he left. He turned and walked away from you and all you could do was stand there in shock,
Because he actually left you.
When you heard a door slam over the blaring music, you came to, grabbing your phone and running after him.
“Kevin!” you screamed after arriving at the front door and throwing it open.
But, apparently, it was too late. Kevin’s car was pulling away from the house and zooming down the street.
So... he had not only left the party, he had left you at the party.
What the actual fuck?
Your heart began to race, your breath coming in short bursts as tears filled your eyes.
What -- what was happening?
Kevin had -- he’d actually left you? At a house you’d never been to? With people you’d never met?
Oh... oh my god.
Before you knew it, your phone was pressed to the side of your face, and Jae’s all-too-familiar voice was in your ear.
“Yo, that must be one lame party --”
“Kevin left me here,” you whimpered.
“What?” Jae’s voice went from slightly amused to incredibly serious in less than a second. “What do you mean he left you there?”
“He saw our messages and got really upset and just -- he left. He left me here by myself, and I don’t know anyone, and --”
The huge lump in your throat prevented you from saying anything else, but thankfully, Jae filled the silence almost immediately.
“I’ll come and get you.”
“But it’s almost an hour away,” you choked out.
“Get an Uber, and I’ll meet you halfway,” he replied. “Send me your location. I’ll get one for you.”
“Okay,” you sniffled, feeling a tear trickling down your cheek. “Thank you.”
“Find a corner and stay there. Don’t talk to anyone, try not to show that you’re scared, okay? Just look at your phone. Do you want me to stay on the line?”
“No, it’s okay,” you shook your head. “You need to drive. I’ll just look up Baby Yoda memes or something.”
The sound of Jae’s faint chuckle actually made your lips quirk into a very small smile, and you felt just a little relieved when he said, “Okay. Send me your location as soon as I hang up. I’ll get you out of there as fast as I can.”
“Okay,” you whispered. And before either of you had the chance to hang up, you quietly added, “Love you.”
It almost sounded like Jae hesitated a little before he spoke, but he replied with, “Love you, too. Don’t talk to anyone. Baby Yoda memes only.”
“Copy that,” you said with a watery grin before you heard the hang-up beep.
As soon as Jae received your location, he figured out a good halfway point and called a ride for you as quickly as he possibly could. He didn’t want you at that party all by yourself for any longer than was absolutely necessary.
Once he got your ride situation squared away, he grabbed his keys, yelled out to his parents that he was going to pick you up, and hopped into his car. Of course, his mom was calling out after him asking why he was picking you up, but he was already halfway down the driveway by that point.
The half-hour drive to the meeting point he’d decided on was probably the longest half-hour of his life. He was nervous that something was going to happen to you, first of all. He was incredibly angry at Kevin for leaving you, second of all. He was anxious about bringing you back to his house, third of all. And being nervous, incredibly angry, and anxious was not a good combination. Especially when you’re behind the wheel.
But Jae managed to drive safely to the meeting point, and when he pulled up and saw you waiting, he let out a huge sigh of relief. But he also cursed under his breath because you were waiting there alone, and he should have gotten there sooner.
Jae hastily parked and got out of the car, leaving it running as he strode over to you. He had been thinking too much about all the things which could have happened to you, and now that you were here, he needed to reassure himself that you were all right.
“Are you okay?” he murmured just before he reached you, just before he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close to his chest.
You immediately burrowed into him, pressing your forehead into his neck and curling your arms up in-between the two of you. “Yeah,” you murmured, just barely nodding your head.
He squeezed you once before pulling away, holding onto your shoulders and examining you just to be sure. You were fine -- at least physically -- but you looked exhausted.
“Come on, let’s go,” he murmured as he slid his jacket off. As the two of you turned toward his car, he placed the jacket around your shoulders, resisting the urge to keep his hands on your arms.
For the first ten or so minutes, the only sound in Jae’s car was the radio on low volume.
But then Jae couldn’t hold himself back any longer.
“You know I want to actually murder him, right?” he blurted out. “That was literally the stupidest thing he could’ve done, and he put your safety on the line. I’m not okay with that.”
“I really don’t want to talk about it,” you murmured.
He glanced over at you, seeing you were leaning against the window, pressing your temple to the glass with your eyes closed.
Jae pressed his lips together so he wouldn’t sigh in frustration, and he managed to simply respond with, “Yeah.”
But then, because he was having trouble with his self-control at the moment, he added on, “But you’re staying with me until break is over. You can borrow some of my sister’s clothes or we can, like, go shopping or something. You’re not going back to him.”
He was expecting gratitude, of course; he couldn’t imagine you would even want to go back to Kevin’s house after this fiasco. But instead of hearing any words resembling ‘thank you’ come out of your mouth, you said, “Jae, I already have one guy trying to tell me what I can and can’t do. Don’t make it two. I wasn’t planning on going back, but that should be my decision.”
...Well, damn. You were right.
“Sorry,” he sighed. “I’m just -- I’m super mad at him.”
“Yeah, well, you’re not the only one. And we’re not going to talk about him anymore, okay?”
Jae could hear the weariness and irritation in your voice, and he knew you well enough by now to understand that he just needed to shut up.
“Got it,” he mumbled, nodding once.
And then he continued to drive on in silence.
In fact, the rest of the car ride was silent. The walk into his house was silent. The journey upstairs to his room was silent. The first word either of you spoke was when you asked if you could borrow some pajamas.
“Yeah, of course,” Jae murmured, opening a drawer in his dresser and grabbing a long-sleeved shirt and some sweatpants. “There should be an extra toothbrush in the bathroom, and you can sleep in the bed. I’ll go down to the couch.”
“No, stay,” you requested. “Kevin has already tried to call me three times, and I can’t -- I need you.”
Jae was so torn. He wanted to stay with you, but he didn’t want you to need him because you were too weak to ignore your jackass of a boyfriend. In fact, that was the exact opposite of what he wanted. He wanted you to grow a backbone and leave him. Even if you didn’t go running into Jae’s arms and realize you actually did have romantic feelings for him, he still wanted you to leave Kevin. You had to at this point.
Right?
He was torn, but he still answered, “Yeah, I’ll stay.” And it took literally every ounce of willpower in him to add, “You should text him, though. Let him know you’re safe.”
No fucking thanks to him.
You simply nodded, and Jae left the room to brush his teeth as you got out your phone. He probably shouldn’t trust you to only send the one message, but he just couldn’t make himself be in there when you did. If he literally never saw, talked, or heard about Kevin for the rest of his goddamn life, it would be too soon.
You came in to join him just a minute later, lazily brushing your teeth once Jae’d handed you the spare toothbrush. You borrowed his face wash and moisturizer, too, and the two of you shuffled off to bed once you’d finished.
After slipping in under the covers and turning off the lamp on his bedside table, Jae fully expected nothing but silence. Neither of you was particularly in the mood to talk -- really, all Jae wanted to talk about was how you were going to break up with Kevin.
But you surprised him by saying, “Thank you.”
“Nah,” he replied quietly.
“No, really,” you urged. “Thank you. And I’m sorry.”
“You have no reason to be sorry. But... you’re welcome. I know you’d do the same for me.”
Jae could feel you nod, and then he felt you turn over to face him. He stayed on his back, knowing that if he turned to face you, it would be much too difficult for him not to touch you or want to kiss you.
“I hope you know how thankful I am for you,” you whispered. “I’ve always wanted a friendship like what we have, and I can’t tell you how glad I am that I found one with you. I seriously don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“Well, thankfully, you don’t have to know,” he replied. “I’ll always be here for you.”
To be quite honest, though, he was starting to feel his energy draining. He’d put up with your boyfriend for over a year now, and after tonight, he wasn’t sure how much more he could take.
All he could do was hope you would come to your damn senses and break up with him.
Because he really had no idea what he would do if you didn’t.

Crooked Wings - Prologue
Hi all. Excited to start posting a series I’ve started writing. It’s a multi-group fic, so I hope you're passionate about your favourite idols interacting. It’s a Demon/Angel Au, so enjoy! If you want to be tagged, just send an ask.
Warnings: Light violence, swearing

Prologue
The world was fucked. Ever since the war that erupted between the Angels and Demons, the lives of all were changed. Humans fell to the Angels and Demons. Despite the takeover, they still despised each other, which caused many fights to break out. Juliet was, unfortunately, an outlier on all sides. She was of both angel and demon blood, making her a mixed breed. In her opinion, she got treated worse than some of the human slaves, or pets depending on who was speaking.
Jay looked around her cell, observing the slow turning security cameras in the bright white room. She still didn’t even realize how she got caught. Her family was hiding so well, even burning all of their paperwork. She knew that for some reason, mixed breeds were getting taken. Some angels and demons as well were getting stolen in the night. Her markings of angel blood on her back where her wings would be if they ever came in. Black swirls on her arms from her cursed demon markings. She hadn’t seen anyone since the guards dragged her in, throwing her onto the tiled floor. It scraped up her knees, but she didn’t care. She wanted to know what happened to her parents. When the raid on her house happened, all she saw was fire and light engross everything. Her mother screaming for her to run, and she tried to. Tried to escape. Only to feel a bullet rip into her thigh. Collapsing, she wanted to get it out, but the guards grabbed her and sedated her immediately.
Now she’s in a shitty cell, wondering how she would escape when she could feel the inhibitors from the bullet casing run through her blood. “Fuck me,” Jae mutters as she rolled to sit up. ‘Plan, I need. A. Plan. How the hell do I get out of here… wherever here is?’
She whipped her head around, only seeing the white walls, a visible two-way mirror, and a steel door. She panicked slightly but breathed through her anxiety as she stood up. Only to be knocked down again by a massive explosion. “Fuck me again honestly,” Jae cursed, taking a knee. The emergency lights in her cell flashed on, illuminating everything in a red glow. The steel door suddenly was ripped off its hinges and thrown down the hallway. The originally soundproof room suddenly exploded with sound after the door was gone.
Screams, growls, and gunfire hit Jae's ears, making her scramble to get against the wall. She looked through her door and didn’t see the chaos that must’ve been happening further down. “Get out, get out, get out,” she repeated as she ran down the hall, only to be suddenly grabbed. She screamed her minimal amount of power reserve, making the human soldier release her, dropping knocked out.
Jae stumbled forward, only to be caught when she almost fell from exhaustion. Just as she prepared to try and scream again, a hand covered her mouth. “Hey, cool it. They’ll all come running in if you do that again.” A light male voice spoke.
Jae whipped around to see a boy in the same prison whites as her. “Who -?” But was cut off by the boy covering her mouth.
“Names Jimin. Looks like since you’re locked up too, we’re the same.” He sputtered and pulled her by her arm. Jae thought of pulling away, but what did he mean by the same? Going along with him, she pulled her arm free.
“What do you mean? We’re the same?” She whispered as they sidled against the wall.
“Bastards, curses, mixed breeds,-“ Jimin started, leaning in closer, “except in our case Gods. The offspring of a devil and an archangel.” The smirk he gave made Jae feel like ice ran down her spine. She was in shock. Her parents weren’t higher-ups, they were ordinary everyday people. She was normal. She knew that being a mixed breed was looked down upon, but two higher up levels having a kid was impossible. The child would usually die before it could be born; the mother not able to handle such a hard birth.
“Sure, if we’re gods, why are we here?” Jae scoffed at the blatant lie. Jimin leaned back, smirk turning smile, and Jae felt the room get colder.
“Obviously, these humans didn’t realize that they took some of my comrades. So I’ve decided to scare these pathetic scientists into falling in line.” Jimin responded as they snuck into a new hall. “They’re down here. Just -“ he started, but the doors at the other end burst open. Soldiers in full gear and armed with machine guns filed in. Jae turned to run back, but Jimin grabbed her arm. “You’re seriously not running away, right?”
“They hit me with some liquid bullet earlier. My abilities are drained still.” Jae responded, getting terrified by the soldiers who began yelling orders at them to surrender.
“Well then, want to see how a real god handles this?” Jimin smirked and lifted his palm. Jae felt all her blood drain, she had never witnessed death. The peace had been kept between all types for decades now, which is why the fact she was kidnapped confused her. She knew mixed breeds were stronger, but was there something really different about her and this boy? If so...then what? “ I’ll give you a chance to leave, or you can meet the darkness of the afterlife at my hands, well, hand to be more specific.” He joked. As if he was talking casually about the weather.
“Don’t-!” Jae began, but screamed and turned when she heard the guns go off. As fast as it started, however, it then went silent. Jae slowly turned around to see hundreds of bullets pointing towards her.
“Huh? Guess that fancy serum wears off.” Jimin chuckled, spinning his finger. The bullets slowly turned, and Jae could see some of the soldiers realize their gun wasn’t going off. “Yeah, those triggers were a bit too light for my liking.” Jae heard Jimin say before she witnessed a massacre.
The bullets flew through the air, slicing through the soldiers with more speed than when they originally came at her. Twenty or more people collapsed, dead in an instant. “Good to see I still can aim,” Jimin spoke, before opening and closing his fist. All the steel doors wrenched open, crashing against the walls.
Jae felt as if she was in the water when the soldiers fell. It was like slow motion, and she couldn’t do anything to stop it. The terror of what the boy beside her did hadn’t sunk in yet. When the doors got forced open, she tried to shake herself back. Jae watched as seven men stumbled out of the cells, each looking haggard and unrested.
“Rise and shine losers. We got to bounce this joint.” Jimin gleefully sang, making the one with silver hair, that was just in front of her, roll his eyes.
“Figures you would get your psycho ass caught on purpose.” The silver one grumbled, stretching his back. Jimin giggled and shrugged.
“Had to save you, idiots, somehow,” Jimin responded. Jae realized that the redhead was glaring daggers at her. She backed up slightly, causing Jimin to notice. “Cool it, Tae. She’s like me!”
“Yeah, so is she coming with us then?” Tae questioned back quickly at Jimin. Jimin looked back at Jae to see her look startled.
“I need to check on my friends, I think… I think my parents are -“ Jae started and could feel her throat begin to close up. Tears were blinked back tears when she heard a sigh. A hand patted her shoulder, and she looked up to see one of the boys, except his eyes, were blue. Jae felt her sadness seep out of her body. She looked at herself then back to the man.
“That’s Namjoon. He’s capable of emotional manipulation. Who knows why an angel would have that dark ability, but I guess that’s why I’m interested in him,” Jimin jokes, giving an eye smile to the tall man. Jimin turned towards Jae, “Well, I’m not leaving you here, so let’s get out of here and figure out where we are.”
Jae nodded, following close behind Jimin as the group trekked through the underground bunker. Throughout their escape, Jae witnessed horrific deaths. She tried to convince herself it was okay since the soldiers were going to kill them, but seeing a group of them choke on their own blood. That’s when she realized Jimin called him Tae could control blood, a rumoured power only one demon family had. This group is dangerous and powerful. Old powerful.
They reached the double doors and busted them down. Jae was starting to feel more like herself, the dull of inhibitor leaving her system. She looked over at the group and realized in the light of the sun, the men were covered in markings. Even the two that she guessed were angel blood had gold chain markings on their arms. Criminals. I escaped with criminals. Jae realized she probably stared too long at the men, who were basking in the light they hadn’t seen in years. Jimin glanced over at her and walked over.
“ They haven’t been out for a bit. The government really liked it… testing on them.” Jimin lied to the girl, smiling lightly. Jae nodded and looked around at the trees surrounding them.
“Where do you think we are?” Jae asked, feeling claustrophobic by the energy spiking around her. Jimin turned around and shrugged.
“No clue. It doesn’t matter, though, since that one.” Jimin started, pointing at the only brunette. “Kookie. Can open portals. He can get you home.”
“Stop calling me that! And stop using me as a private jet.” The boy cursed while walking over. Jae noticed that his neck was covered in intricate lines that probably ran all over. Jeez, they’re all covered in blockers, and they still can use their abilities.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah. Could you be a good person, Jungkookie, and help get…. I never asked for your name.” Jimin realized, eyes widening and looking over at her.
“Oh, it’s Juliet, but I prefer Jae.” She answered, noticing the others had walked over. “I was in the S sector.”
“Oh, I know where that is. Big city girl, huh?” Jungkook replied. He started spinning his hands around, forming a sphere. Thrusting his hands out, a portal developed, showing the downtown core of Sector S. “Can you get home from here?”
“Yes, thank you.” Jae smiled, excited to see her city. She turned towards Jimin and hugged him, forgetting that he, too, had blocker markings. Her excitement made him laugh. “Thank you for saving me,” Jae whispered.
“Your welcome. I have a feeling we’ll meet again, Ms. Jae.” Jimin answered, which Jae didn’t hear as she was already walking to the portal. Walking through, her ears were met with the honking of cars and chatter of people walking around. Turning around, she saw the portal already was gone.
Sighing, Jae turned around and saw a subway station. Time to go home.

Business Is Business - Mafia AU
Chapter 2

“Do you have everything packed?” Hyun Jae asked as she walked into Hongjoong’s room, the flight details in her hands. She froze in her spot as she saw the condition of his bedroom. Clothes were strewn about on the floor, his bed was unmade, his luggage bag was open and sitting among the mess but one thing caught her attention immediately. The luggage bag was completely empty. Her brother was nowhere to be found and they were supposed to leave for the states in two days. “Kim. Hong. JOONG!” She screamed out. Hongjoong came stumbling towards his bedroom from the bathroom,
“Hyun Jae? What’s wrong?” He asked as he stood behind her. She slowly turned around to face him, his eyes moving to the mess of his room, “Oh god, okay, wait.” He tried to explain, feeling himself shrinking as he saw the expression on her face. “I got...preoccupied.”
“With what?! You’re supposed to be more organised, Hongjoong! We’re leaving in two days and for months! How are you going to pack everything in time?!” She scolded him, slapping him with the paper in her hands. Hongjoong shielded himself with his arms as he backed away from her,
“Ah! Ah! Ah! Jae! Stop it! I can pack on time! I promise!” He rambled out. Hyun Jae stopped with one final slap,
“Of course you’re packing on time because I’m helping you.” She scowled at him, turning on her heel and stepping over his clothes. She put the paper on the bed and started picking up piles of his clothes as he watched. “Yah, if you don’t help me, I’ll hit you more.” She glared at him. He quickly made his way into his room and started to help her. Once they cleaned his floor, they started the proper packing. “Pack enough clothes for two weeks and we’ll just wash it while we travel. Make sure you have everything you need.” She said as she started folding his clothes. Hongjoong packed the clothes she had folded and a system was silently put in place.
They had moved to Hyun Jae packing his carry on while Hongjoong continued with his luggage.
“How many laptop chargers do you have?” Hyun Jae asked as she looked at the mess of wires on his desk.
“I have my main charger, my backup charger and I think one of those are broken.” He turned around to see her struggling to untangle his wires.
“Why in the world would you keep the broken charger?” She asked, trying to see if she could figure out which one was broken.
“The one with the red tape is the broken one.” He told her. She managed to untangle the wires and put aside the charger that was broken, moving to his bag to put one of the working ones into his carry on.
“I’m leaving one of the chargers on your table so you can still use your laptop for today and tomorrow.” She moved back to his desk to find any other chargers that he would need. “Why is your desk so unorganised?” She asked as she looked at the mess of his desk. He was only this messy whenever he was too stressed out or angry. “You’re so organised, what happened?” She turned to him to see him staring at her with his lips pursed.
“I may have had a small, just a small,” He lifted his hand and showed her the ‘small’ with his fingers, “Minor breakdown about the tour.” Hyun Jae stared at him, not knowing what to say to him. Their debut was a success, many of their fans were already calling ATEEZ rookie of the year. “I don’t know I just freaked out a little bit.” He muttered out as he turned back to his luggage bag. Hyun Jae frowned, moving to sit beside him,
“Why didn’t you say anything? I could’ve helped you packed if you were feeling stressed out.” She asked him. He put the folded t shirt in his hand into the bag and shrugged,
“It was sudden. It didn’t feel real, you know. I was suddenly thinking about the mob and I was stressing out over leaving them alone and I was freaking out over going on tour. Too many emotions happening at once.” He mumbled out. He didn’t like showing his emotions to his sister even when he was aware that she could read him without talking to him, making him feel more insecure sometimes. He wanted to be the older brother. He wanted to be the sibling that would be over protective over his sister.
“Joong, you know that you can always talk to me, right?” She placed her hand over his that was resting on the bed. “I’m always going to be around. Don’t push me away because you’re scared of me seeing you sad.” She spoke gently. She knew how he felt about showing negative emotions. He was usually an optimistic person; looking for the brighter side of things. He didn’t like feeling weak. He wanted to be a strong leader who wouldn’t falter easily. She knew that deep inside he was as sensitive as she was but he was better at hiding his sensitivity.
“Stop reading me.” He joked and turned to her.
“Sorry, it’s instinctive at this point.” She chuckled.
“I know I can talk to you. Sometimes I wanna try and figure things out on my own but it makes me spiral down into this wild pit of emotions.” He sighed, turning his head away. Hyun Jae felt bad, not knowing what to say as she just sat there with him. “I think us spending time like this is better than if you were trying to say anything.” Hongjoong reassured her, knowing she was struggling to find the right words to say to him.
“If you need someone to be here, you can always just come into my room or ask me to be around you. I wouldn’t mind.” She gave him a soft smile as he nodded. She patted his thigh before standing up, “You hungry?” She asked, earning a nod from him. “Let’s get lunch then we’ll get back to packing.”
"Is that all?" Hyun Jae asked as she zipped up the bag. Hongjoong nodded,
"That should be all. I have enough clothes to last two weeks before I have to do some laundering." He stood up and checked the time on his phone. They had spent the whole day packing and it was almost 8 p.m. She checked her phone,
“We should stop by the office.” She said as she turned to her brother.
“Yeah, sure.” He agreed, grabbing his jacket. They left their apartment together, Hyun Jae sending a quick text to their shared group chat that they were heading to the office. “Should we wait for the guys?” Hongjoong asked as they entered the lift, referring to Wooyoung, San and Yeosang. Usually if they mentioned that they were heading to the office all of them would head there as well.
“Entirely up to you, Joong.” She shrugged. A small part of her was hoping he wanted to wait for them so she could see Yeosang, wanting to walk with him. Even if they couldn’t be together she still enjoyed his presence.
“Hmmm, let’s wait.” He hummed out, pulling his phone out to let them know that they were going to wait for them at the train station. The twins stood outside the train station as they waited for their friends. Winter was slowly coming to an end, it was January and the snow on the streets were slowly melting. The temperature was slowly rising, making it less bothersome to wait out in the streets.
“Noona! Hyung!” The sound of Wooyoung’s voice made them turn around to see him running in their direction, San and Yeosang following behind him as they walked. Wooyoung practically threw himself onto Hongjoong, seeming more hyper than usual. Hyun Jae flashed a small wave to the other two as they approached them.
“Why is he so hyper?” Hongjoong laughed as Wooyoung was practically bouncing on his feet with excitement.
“Yeosang bought an energy drink because he didn’t want to fall asleep tomorrow night so he could sleep on the plane.” San spoke up, “Woo thought it would be funny to drink it.” He snickered at the sheer energy that Wooyoung was releasing. The three of them started to talk as they walked into the station. Yeosang walked with Hyun Jae as they watched Hongjoong and San try to control Wooyoung.
“Are you excited about the tour?” Hyun Jae asked him. Yeosang nodded,
“I can’t believe it’s actually happening. We’ve worked so hard and finally we’ve debuted.” He smiled at her. She could feel his hand lightly brushing against hers, making her pull her hand away,
“You know we can’t. Not when he could turn around at any moment.” She gave him a sad look. He sighed, nodding sadly. It was hard for them not to want each other. “I’m sorry, Yeosang.” She whispered, softly enough so the others wouldn’t hear them.
“It’s okay. Hongjoong hyung would run me over if he found out about this.” He chuckled softly as they entered the train. The train was quite full at the time. The five of them had to squeeze into the crowd.
“Woo, don’t be so loud on the train. You’ll get yelled at.” Hongjoong gently scolded Wooyoung when he spoke a little bit too loud, earning glares from other passengers.
“We’re sorry.” Hyun Jae turned to them and bowed.
“Don’t drink my energy drinks next time, Woo.You’re forcing Hongjoong hyung to be your mum.” Yeosang teased, earning a glare from him. The movement of the train made Hyun Jae tumble since she couldn’t find anything to hold onto. An arm wrapped around her waist, catching her fall and pulled her back to someone. “Woah, careful, noona.” Yeosang advised as he helped her balance herself. She stared at him, feeling herself blush at the sudden contact.
“T-Thanks, Yeosang.” She stammered out. He gave her a soft smile, slightly glad that the train was too full for Hongjoong to see the hold he had on her.
“I wish I could hold you like this all the time.” He whispered to her.
“Honestly, me too.” She sighed at him, “I just don’t want anything to happen to you. You know that.” Her voice was as low as his, not wanting any of the others to hear her. His arm had a tight grip around her waist to make sure she wouldn’t fall again as he held onto one of the handles. The warmth of his back and the movement of his chest as he breathed brought comfort to her heart.
Hongjoong was too distracted to notice them with how much focus he had on Wooyoung to keep him from being too childish. The train slowly started to empty before they reached their stop and Hyun Jae was quick to hold onto the empty handle that was right in front of her so that Yeosang could let go of her.
“Noona,” San’s voice made her turn to face him. “Can you bring your polaroid camera with us on tour? The vintage one.” He asked.
“Of course, I’ve been meaning to find the time to use it.” She nodded with a smile, earning a ‘whoop’ from him and Wooyoung.
“Where did you find the film for it? I thought they stopped producing it.” Hongjoong asked.
“Found a European based company that still makes film for the one I got. I bought quite a few packs of it. It could probably last me a year or so if I bring it on tour.” She told them.
“I can always try and make them if you want.” Yeosang spoke up from behind her, making her turn to him. “I can try and figure out the chemicals behind it and try to fashion film for your camera. That way you won’t have to buy them all the time.” He offered.
“You’d do that?” She asked, feeling her heart flutter at his gesture when he nodded.
“Shouldn’t take too much effort.” He shrugged, “But I’ll need a piece of film that hasn’t been used yet to use as a control.” He smiled at her.
“Thanks.” She smiled back at him as the train reached their stop. They all stepped out of the train and made their way out to the office where the others were waiting for them.
“Everything’s in order, right?” Hongjoong asked when they stepped into the office. Mingi and Jongho shared a look. “What’s wrong?” His brows furrowed when he saw their expressions.
“Yunho found something…” Jongho trailed off.
“Something you really need to see.” Mingi continued for him. He led them into the computer room where Yunho was seated in the dark with Seonghwa bending down as he looked at the monitor.
“It doesn’t make sense.” Seonghwa shook his head as he moved away from the computer.
“Hyung, it doesn’t make sense but how else could it have happened?” Yunho asked, slumping into the chair.
“What is it?” Hongjoong asked. The two of them turned to him, the light of the other room shining into the darkness.
“Hongjoong hyung, you and noona really need to see this.” Yunho told them, gesturing for the twins to come closer. The two of them stood behind the swivel chair and looked at the computer screen. “I was messing around with a bunch of CCTV footage I stole a few days ago and look,” He played a recording of CCTV footage from a convenience store a few years back.
“Isn’t that…” Hyun Jae trailed off as she saw a person that resembled her father walking into the store.
“Dad.” Hongjoong whispered out as they watched. Their father walked into the convenience store and they watched as the man behind the cashier pulled a gun out at him, forcing his men to draw their own guns to protect their leader. There was no audio from the footage, but the flashes of light made it obvious that they had opened fire.
They watched the scene play, Hyun Jae feeling her heart filling with anxiety and tears well in her eyes as the two men around her father fell to the ground. She stumbled backwards and Seonghwa grabbed onto her arms to help her steady herself. Hongjoong continued to watch, his face unreadable.
“Did mum ever mention how he died?” He asked to Hyun Jae once the footage had ended. He turned around to all of his members. Jongho was the only one who was around at the time of their mother’s death, his father working on a job with her before she passed.
“My dad said he had disappeared, not died.” Jongho spoke up. Jongho was the only one who was around at the time of their mother’s death, his father working on a job with her before she passed. The twins turned to him.
“W-What?” Hyun Jae could feel a stray tear running down her cheek.
“Your dad went missing. My dad never said he died. Your mum kept trying to find him, that’s why my dad was working with her. They never found him.” Jongho explained. The twins slowly turned to each other as they started to connect the dots. Their mother never took them to his grave, never took them to the office and never told them how he died. She was hiding it from them.
“She didn’t want us to go looking for him.” Hongjoong whispered, his body feeling numb. “Is there any other tape?” He asked.
“Huh?” Yunho turned to him.
“That tape, is there more?” He turned to Yunho, his own eyes glossy with tears. Yunho quickly turned back to the computer,
“It plays the men getting shot but it goes fuzzy when it’s just your dad left. I can’t tell if they killed him or not.” He turned back to Hongjoong who continued to stare at the screen.
“No,” He shook his head, “I need to know if he’s still alive.” He moved towards the desk Yunho was sitting at and looked at the screen, pressing play. “Where did this come from?” He asked.
“It could be anywhere. Yeosang broke into a bunch of databases all over the world. We’re not even sure if the shop still exists.” He shook his head. “We don’t know where any of the recordings come from. If we wanna track it back it could take days and we’re leaving for tour in two.” Hyun Jae felt like she was going to faint. She was listening to them, struggling to balance herself on her own.
“You okay, noona?” Seonghwa asked as he let her hold onto his arm. She didn’t answer him. They watched as Hongjoong kept replaying the tape.
“My dad said your mum tried contacting multiple gangs to see if they knew where your father was.” Jongho spoke up, making the twins turn to him. “None of them knew where he had gone that day and none of them found the bodies of his men that was with him.”
“Mum lied to us because if she couldn’t find him, there’s a smaller chance of us finding him. She knew we’d try looking for him.” Hongjoong muttered, his attention turning back to the screen. He stood up after a moment, turning to Hyun Jae. He made his way over to her, silently asking Seonghwa to let him hold her. “Jae, I have an idea. It’s a wild one but I have faith that it might work.” He said as he held her forearms. She looked him in the eyes and could already feel what he was thinking.
“Are you serious, Joong? What if we don’t find him?” She asked, her body shaking.
“I know we can. Even if we don’t find him alive we,” He paused, his eyes shutting at the thought, “We’ll find him if he’s dead.” His breathing was shaking as he spoke. They never thought about the possibility of their father being alive. It had been too many years since he had gone missing that the probability of him still being alive was much slimmer than when their mother tried looking for him. “It’s a one in a million chance and I want to take it. If we can save him, I want to save him.” He cupped her face, wiping away the tears that were streaming down her face.
“Joong, I can’t, I can’t lose him twice.” She sobbed quietly but he shook his head,
“We’re going to find him, Jae. We’ll find him, I promise.” He pulled her into a hug. “We’re going to find him.” He repeated as he held her. The others watched, not knowing what to say.
“Yunho hyung,” Yeosang spoke up, “Let me look at that footage.” He requested. Yunho stood up from the chair and gestured for him to sit down. He sat down at the desk and watched the footage, his mind wanting nothing more but to help both of them. “I’ll see if I can find where I got it from.” He turned around to look at them, his heart aching at the sight of Hyun Jae looking so broken. He knew from Jongho that she didn’t take the death of any of their parents well.
When their mother had the twins that their father had passed away, they had only turned 15. Hongjoong never shared much about their past lives, but Jongho learned from his father that she spiralled for months. Being unable to visit his grave and mourn him there made her suffer more. She just wanted to visit him.
The death of their mother only worsened her condition. They were 18. This was the only thing that he didn’t know what had exactly happened but it changed her. The death of their mother convinced her to pick up psychology rather than music. Neither of them went to college but she picked it up through books and the internet, slowly letting herself gain knowledge on the human mind.
He wanted to help her and this seemed to be the only way to do it. He watched her vulnerability show through as she hugged her brother; the only thing left of her family. No one knew what she would do if she were to lose him.
Yeosang turned back to the computer and started to go through the file.
“Can you do it?” Mingi asked quietly from beside Yeosang.
“I’m sure I can.” He nodded. His fingers were typing at a speed that only he could. The others watched as he dug deeper into the file, opening up a software that he created along with Linux. Yunho was the only one that understood what he was doing, but once he went deeper, Yunho was lost as well. He was trying to trace the database he had stolen it from and he was doing it faster than any other hacker or programmer could.
“Yeosang hyung’s awesome.” Jongho whispered in slight awe as he watched him work.
“Doesn’t look hard to him honestly.” San replied, turning to Jongho before turning back to the monitor to watch the process. Hyun Jae let go of Hongjoong once she realised what he was doing and took a step closer to watch him do what he was best at. Hongjoong started watching as well. It only took another 5 minutes before Yeosang stopped typing,
“Found it.” He said, his eyes never leaving the screen, “It’s a convenience store in Thailand. It’s still open.” He looked up at Hongjoong.
“We’re only going to Thailand for KCON and that’s months away.” Wooyoung spoke up, running a hand through his hair. He had finally come down from his energy burst and was able to understand the situation.
“We can only try looking in August.” Yunho spoke up as he looked at the address on the screen. Yeosang looked at all of them, glancing over at Hyun Jae who was biting the skin around her nails.
“Who did he fuck with that he had to go to Thailand?” Hongjoong asked, more to himself.
“Who has worked with your father the longest?” Jongho asked him. Hyun Jae looked at Jongho then at her brother,
“Seung Ji nim has worked with him since he had to take over from our grandfather.” She said as she pulled out her phone from her pocket. She found his contact quickly and pressed her phone to her ear.
“Hyun Jae nim?” The voice rang through the speakers.
“Seung Ji nim, can you come down to the office now?” She asked, trying her best to keep her voice from sounding too shaky.
“Of course. I’ll be down right away.” He spoke before hanging up. She turned to her members,
“We find out why he was in Thailand and from there we’ll start by trying to find who was in charge of his death.” She said to them.
“Yes, Hyun Jae nim.” They bowed to her. They only referred to her that professionally when they had to switch from family to business. She felt a hand wrap around hers and she turned to see Hongjoong looking at her.
“We’ll find him, Hyun Jae. I promise.” He nodded at her.
“I know we will, Hongjoong.”
Seung Ji walked into the office dressed in a suit, a habit that he picked up when he was working for the twins’ father. His black hair was slicked back, streaks of grey running through it as evidence of his ageing. The nine of them greeted him as he entered.
“Is something wrong, Hyun Jae nim?” He asked once he had greeted all of them.
“Seung Ji nim, you’ve worked with our father the longest, right?” Hyun Jae asked. He nodded at her question. “We want to know what he was doing in Thailand the time he disappeared.” Her words made him stare at her before shaking his head.
“Kyung Mi nim ordered me not to let you know.” He said, trying his best to stay respectful to her.
“Please, we need to know if he’s still alive.” She pleaded but he shook his head.
“With all respect for our mother, you don’t work for her anymore.” Hongjoong stepped closer to him, “You work for us now, Seung Ji nim. We want to know why he was in Thailand and we’re going to find him.” He ordered him, his voice stern. Seung Ji let out a sigh through his nostrils before nodded,
“As you wish, Hongjoong nim.” He stepped away from his leaders and walked towards a dusty filing cabinet. He crouched down to the lowest drawer and typed in a code that only their parents knew. The sound of the lock unlocking was followed with him pulling out the drawer and pulling out a file. He stood up and turned back to them, handing the file to them. Hongjoong took the file from his hands and opened it, revealing details of a group of gangsters in Thailand. “Your father was trying to find the killer of his best friend. These men are Koreans living under Thai aliases, attempting to run away from him.” He said as his leaders looked through the file. There were three men in the file, all of Korean nativity.
“What happened to him?” Hyun Jae asked, looking up from the file.
“His best friend was not part of the mob at all but was murdered. When he found out who killed him, he went to Thailand to kill them. Gwong Bong nim never returned from his trip. None of us could reach his men and no one knew where he went. There was no evidence of him being dead or alive neither was there evidence of our men that went with him.” He spoke.
“We managed to find CCTV footage of a convenience store in Thailand of a shootout. He was there. His men were killed but he wasn’t.” Yunho spoke up. Seung Ji turned to him,
“The possibility of him being alive is slim. If Kyung Min nim couldn’t find him in three years, it’s harder to find him alive after six years of searching.” He told them.
“We’re going to find him dead or alive.” Hongjoong spoke, closing the file. “We’ll try looking for this store when we’re in Thailand in August. In the meantime, I want you and the others to try looking for as much information on these men as possible. We can’t afford to step over any miniscule detail if two of our men could lose a shootout with one single person.” Seung Ji nodded at his words,
“We’ll begin our search first thing in the morning.” He said.
“While we’re on tour, I want you to be in charge. Can I trust you enough?” Hongjoong asked him.
“Of course, Hongjoong nim. I’ve worked with your father since the beginning. I know every member in this mob and I know that you make a fine leader along with your sister.” He looked over at Hyun Jae, “I also have a feeling that your tour may help you better.” He nodded.
“Why’s that?” Hyun Jae asked.
“You’ll be in and out of countries quick enough to avoid any other gangs or mobs to catch you. You’ll be under surveillance from your trusted members and security guards. You’re safer on the go.” He told her them before taking a deep breath, “So I ask of you all, please find my best friend.” He put his hands on Hongjoong’s shoulders, “If he’s dead; let us all have closure. If he’s alive; bring him home.

Solar World- Part Two
A/N: I would like to clarify that everything written in this story is complete fiction and isn’t to be taken as a true portrayal of reality. Also, this is a story I had started writing but completely forgot about and thought I could convert it to fanfic so that I might actually finish it, lol :) This series has an unknown finish date, as I’m still trying to set up the layout of the series. I’m going to try doing something different, I’ll be including links to the other parts in the notes by a reblog (to access the links I think you might need to click on the reblog itself)
Summary: Sunni and her team have learned Valis Havens did not hold the last of humanity as they thought.

Introduction | Part One | Part Two
Sunlight twists through the branches of trees towering above- at maybe a hundred feet, if I had to guess. The plant life in the area surrounding the hatch seems healthy upon a brief glance, the vibrant foliage leading me to this assumption. It’s so much more beautiful than I imagined, or than anything we have in Valis Haven to give us an idea of what the surface looked like. Nothing could properly give it justice in a mere reproduction, not when it looks like this. I’m even a little short of breath just taking everything in, not because the air is bad but rather my excitement is making it difficult for me to take a deep breath.
It appears as if the hatch opened up in the middle of a forest, one that wasn’t present three hundred and fifty years ago. As my team climb out of the clean room through the hatch one by one, I have a tough time trying to focus on the questions they’re asking. But it’s apparent I’m not the only one enamored with the environment around us. A breeze rustles the leaves resulting in everyone jumping slightly. Reminding us that while this is an exciting experience, we must be cautious and not let our guard down.
“Sunni, it’s… It’s beautiful.” Jae murmured beside me.
His words break me free from the trance I’d been in, and I nod in response. “Yes, it most definitely is beautiful... We can’t just stand around here though, we need to look for a place to set up camp.”
“Sure thing, Sunni. Just lead the way.” Gil replies giddily, his feet bouncing with energy.
I step off the platform that leads to the hatch after sliding it closed. Twigs snap under my feet as I move forward, determining which direction we should go. Based off the fact that a forest wasn’t present before, I’m going to assume that the maps I studied are inaccurate and useless now. Our camp should be near a water source, and if we can find animal tracks they could lead us to the closest body of water.
“Look for animal tracks, shout if you find anything.” I say calmly, wandering farther from the group.
At this we split up, some going in pairs or solo, like myself. I walked to the left of the hatch, going past a few trees to look for tracks. As I searched the ground something in the dirt seemed odd, I crouched to get a better look at it. It was a track, that much I was aware of, but it was unlike any animal I’ve studied. Instead, as I moved leaves to the side to analyze it, the track appeared human. But that can’t be, nobody could have survived those disasters. Could they? I mean, is it possible that somehow people managed to survive and their descendants have been roaming the surface while we’ve been stuck underground?
Shooting to my feet from my crouched position, I move to yell out for the team but a movement in the corner of my eye makes me freeze. It was fleeting, almost imperceptible, but it was enough to bring me pause. Breath frozen in my lungs, I turn my head to where I saw the movement. I scan the trees carefully, and to my disappointment or relief I’m not sure, nothing’s there. Shaking my head to rid myself of intrusive thoughts screaming that I’m not alone, rather, we’re not alone.
These thoughts are proved correct though as a body presses into me from behind, an arm wrapping around my waist to restrain me and a hand moving to cover my mouth. Even knowing it won’t be of much use I try to scream, and as expected the sound is muffled by my assailant’s hand. Twisting and yanking my body in a futile attempt to free myself only results in being held tighter, the arm constricting painfully around my waist. Hot tears start to build in my eyes, threatening to burn their way down my cheeks. I’ve only just made it to the surface and now I’m probably going to be killed by someone we had no clue existed.
Words were spoken into my ear by a low voice in a language I didn’t recognize and the hand was removed from my mouth. A minute passed in silence as the person waited, I assumed it was a male at this point based off the voice. Maybe he was waiting for me to respond. I chew at my lip trying to determine if it’d matter if I told him that I didn’t understand him if he couldn’t understand me either. Screw it, it’s worth a shot.
“I’m sorry, I don’t understand.” I whisper softly.
A huff of breath hits my neck, sending chills down my spine. “Do you understand me now?” My eyes go wide at his words and I nod frantically. “Good. Where did you come from? Why are you here? What are your plans?”
“U-Um, well, I’m from Valis Havens. I’ve been sent up here with a small team to solve a problem. The plan is to find the problem and a solution.”
“What is Valis Havens?”
“It’s an underground facility that houses what we thought was the last of humanity.”
“You said you have a team? All of you are unknown threats on our land, I have to take you to the Superior.”
“Superior? Will-will we be killed?” I stutter out, heart pounding.
“Only if you’re deemed a threat.”
Surely that shouldn’t have comforted me, but for some peculiar reason it did. While, yes, there were those on my team that could pose significant threat for the people that lived here, none of them would do anything unless I gave the go ahead. I wasn’t about to give permission to go to war with people we had no clue existed until now.
“Call your people here.” He demanded.
“Are you sure?” I question. “If I call them here with you holding me hostage, they won’t listen first, they’ll attack. I promise I won’t try to escape, it’s no use when I know nothing about the terrain.”
“Fine.”
With that single word the arms holding me in place released me. Before calling out to my team, I figured I deserved to see the face of the man that had been holding me as leverage. What I saw was not what I was expecting. Although, I’m not really sure what I was expecting, just that this was not it. The man standing before me is handsome, with a sharp jawline, high cheekbones, and rounded lips. His tanned skin shone in the sunlight, and his dark almond shaped eyes held a dimmed fire within them.
“Call them, now.” He ordered, eyes narrowing.
I pause a second longer to regain my composure. “Guys! I need you to come over here.”
In the following minute countless shouts ring out into the air, confirming they’re moving my way, joined by sounds of leaves crunching underfoot. Gil and Nia appear first, followed shortly by Bo and Bren, next comes Jae and Vera, then finally Ves shows up. As each group finds me, they pause in place upon seeing the man standing beside me. Bo’s mouth keeps opening and closing, giving him the appearance of a dumbfounded fish. Ves is the only one to speak up amidst the dead silence surrounding my team.
“There were survivors. Interesting.” She murmurs, a calculating look taking form on her face.
“Yes, and apparently we’re on their territory.” I sigh lightly, glancing at the man beside me. “Now we have to go with him to meet his Superior.”
“Sunni…” Vera draws my name out, her tone showing that she’s uncomfortable with the situation.
I grit my teeth. “We don’t have another option, either we go with him or we start a war. I would prefer not to go to war.”
With these words, any protests that my team had been forming died on their lips. It was evident in their eyes, how they widened in realization and fear, that initiating a war was to be avoided at all costs. None of us had ever lived through anything similar to that, the only wars we knew of were in history books. Each war in those books was devastating, with body counts higher than our population, it was difficult to imagine being okay with such loss.
“We must move out now, so that we aren’t out when the sun sets.” The man beside me spoke up.
A quick head count and we were on our way, following the mysterious guy through the forest. He never really spoke, except for telling us to avoid certain plants. One plant in question being a deep purple, almost black color, with large heart shaped leaves harboring small spikes that contained a deadly poison. If I’m being honest, I truly wanted to take a sample of one and examine it, potentially run a few tests. Maybe if I could figure out it’s genetic makeup, an antidote could be made for the poison, if one already hasn’t been developed that is.
Though it wasn’t just the plant life I was curious of. I mean, how could anybody possibly survive the massive solar flares and tsunamis that happened three hundred and fifty years ago? There’s the potential that maybe if they had a bunker people could survive for a few years before facing the surface again. Except I don’t understand how the radiation wouldn’t have killed them upon surfacing, it certainly should have been deadly at that point. Everything I’ve been taught goes to say that nobody should have been able to survive. Thus, it’s mystifying to find out that people somehow managed to make it through the calamity.
Surely the Earth would have been a mixture of scorched grounds and raised sea levels, which makes it even harder for my brain to comprehend. Quite honestly I would love to learn of their history, what they’ve been taught and how they’ve progressed. Has their society regressed in terms of development? Or has it gone beyond any expectations we may have down in Valis Havens? While I have one member of the society leading us, he is remaining quiet and elusive regarding sharing any information. I do know one thing, they must speak multiple languages, seeing as how he didn’t speak English to me at first. Scratch that, make it two things, because I am certain that the language he spoke first is new or a derivative at the least.
Granted, I am not well versed in linguistics, I only ever managed to learn two other languages fluently. Though I do know basics of a few others, most of which were spread out regionally. Ves and Nia are the best with languages in the team, both speaking upwards of five different languages, not including English. One of them could potentially identify the origins of the language he spoke, if it was a derivative that is. It wouldn’t be surprising if Ves was the one who could identify it, seeing as she is a bit of a wild card.
See, there’s no telling what Ves knows. She’s the type that values secrecy and never shows the world anything but a face of stone. If I’m honest, Ves scares me just a little bit. Not because I feel that she would ever go against the team or harm us, but mainly for the sole fact that you can never guess where her thoughts are. And since she rarely talks, everyone goes quiet when she does.
Everyone else on the team is a bit easier, well, a lot easier, to read in comparison to Ves. Gil’s emotions are always plain as day on his face, he’s probably most like Ves’ polar opposite in that regard. Most of the others tend to have control over their expressions and body language, though there are times when they have an extreme reaction to something and that control slips.
Sometimes I get so lost in thought that I lose track of my surroundings, this was one of those times. I slammed right into the back of the guy- I really should learn his name- that was leading us as a result. Yeah, I’m quite aware that I should’ve been paying attention so that incidents, such as this, wouldn’t occur. Well, it’s too late to remedy the situation. He turns slowly to face me, a blank look on his face. All I manage to do is smile sheepishly and whisper a quick apology.
He shakes head lightly, a small smile appearing briefly. “We have arrived. Stay quiet and try not to attract too much attention. There’s no telling how the others will react, so it’s important to get you to the Superior as quickly as possible.”
I stop him as he turns back to lead us further. “Wait, what’s your name?”
“Minho.” And with that he turned on his heel and continued forth.
At least now I know his name.

Summary: Cliche soulmate!au where your soulmates first words your soulmate says to you are written on your wrist.
Your mother warned you that the eve of your 21st birthday you would find a small quote enscripted in your skin. She told you how they would be the first words your soulmate spoke to you.
Your father warned you not to show it to anyone because boys tend to think with the wrong head, and would try anything to swindle their way into such a pretty girls pants.
Your sister told you how wonderful it is hearing those words go from ink on your skin to the mouth of your soulmate. The way the fireworks erupt and you heart melts into the hands of your lover.
Your brain told you this all had to be a big fat fucking joke.
You tugged your sleeve down, covering your wrist and the words written across them. You took your father’s advice. The less people who knew about them the less chance of some loser spewing them just to get into your pants. Besides, the chances that anybody were actually going to speak the words on your wrist were highly unlikely.
You stepped out of the Science Department front doors and began your short walk back to the dorms. You were glad it was finally a warm day and decided to take a little shortcut, but the moment you stepped onto the crosswalk brakes squealed and a small beat up Honda Civic was just inches away from ending you. You screamed, smacked the hood of his car, and held up both middle fingers to him. All he did was smile apologetically and wave you across the road.
“What a douchebag” you thought to yourself. “Literally almost kills me and then he just smiles. What the fuck?”
You tossed your bag on the floor and face planted into your bed. The moment sleep threatened to rip you away from reality your roommate swung open the door and plopped down on your bed.
“Are you getting ready or what?”
“For what?” You groaned.
Raeh rolled her eyes, “that little mixer or whatever. The boys from Kappa Sig invited us over, remember?”
You let out a dramatic wail and pulled your pillow over your head. “No.” You mumbled.
“YES!” She ripped tour pillow away from your face an chucked it across the room. “Please! You know Wonpil will be there. You also know I have NO game so you have to wingman!!”
“Goddamn you, Raeh.”
“Atta girl!” She smirked. “Lets go!”
It wasn’t until you were in the Kappa Sigma house with a few mixed drinks in your system that you remembered the boy who had nearly hit you. Raeh had snuck off somewhere with Wonpil and left you making small talk with Dowoon when you spotted him.
“Ugh!” You scoffed. “What a prick! Do you know that guy?”
He laughed as you motioned towards him. “Jae? Everyone knows Jae.”
You rolled your eyes. “He’s an arrogant prick if you ask me.
You recalled the events of him nearly hitting you and Dowoon tried his best to assure you it was probably an accident, and Jae has a lot on his mind these days and meant no harm. His words did nothing to calm the fire fueling in the pit of your chest and finally you handed him your drink and shoved your way through people to approach Jae.
You didn’t even stop for a breath before waving a finger in his face and shouting. “YOU NEARLY KILLED ME, JACK ASS!”
Jae erupted into laughter and held his arm in the air. You tried to make out the writing across his wrist at an odd angle but the moment he spoke you knew exactly what was happening.
“Oh shit, waddup girl?!”
Your heart sunk to your chest in realization. You yanked your sleeve up your arm to reveal the words printed across your wrist in old fashioned comic sans. Oh Shit Waddup Girl. This was actually happening. You had finally put a voice to the words across your wrist. A frat boy. A memester. A complete idiot and a SHIT driver.

“Its time, Y/N you are fully dilated. On the next contraction i’m going to ask you to push with all your strength.” You nodded. “You can do this. You are strong and brave and I believe in you.” Everything had happened so fast. You were struggling to push your baby out, but suddenly the pain disappeared and you felt a great relief. You heard a loud cry, which was always good news. “Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kim. Welcome your baby boy to this world.” The doctor laid your baby on your chest. “You did great mama. I Love you.” Namjoon kissed your forehead. You were surprised by his words, but you knew they were only said because of the moment. “Let me get baby, to clean him up. We will be right back. Daddy do you want to watch.” Namjoon nodded and followed the nurse. In that moment you felt truly happy. You started to cry. You had never imagined this would ever happen to you. And especially not with Namjoon, but now you were glad it was with him. Your happiness washed away as soon as you noticed Jimin sitting in the corner. His eye cold and sad. “Congrats.” he mouthed as he stood up and left. “So what is this little guys name?” The nurse asked Namjoon. He turned around and looked at you. “ Kim Jae-Joon.” I said with a huge smile. “Kim JaeJoon, that’s his name.” Namjoon said as he picked up his son.
Being home with a newborn was a bit strange. Namjoon had taken time off to be with the two of you and it felt nice. You were a little surprised when Jimin wasn’t home, but your heart broke into a million pieces when you noticed all his things were gone as well. Namjoon was catching up the nanny on the things she should help with and the things she needed to ask you before doing. He knew you would be a very hands on mother but he wanted someone helping you while he was gone. “Y/N, I hope you don’t mind if I move into the spare bedroom. I just want to be with Jaejoon as much as I can.” “It's okay Namjoon. You don’t have to ask. This is your house.” “Yes, but you and Jimin live here and I don’t want to make things awkward.” He joined you on the couch with Jaejoon in his arms. “Jimin is gone, so are his things. I guess he didn’t want any part of this weird family.” Just than Ana walked in “Mr. and Mrs. Kim, Mr. Park is here and would like to see the both of you.” “Let him in.” Namjoon said in a stone cold voice. “Thanks for seeing me.” “Please sit down.” You said in a trembling voice. “What are you doing here?” “Look, Namjoon I don’t want any problems with you. But this is between Y/N and I. You don’t have to leave but please let me get everything out in the air.” Namjoon nodded and looked at you. “Why did you leave?” “I wasn’t sure you wanted me here after what happened. Look I’m not gonna say that i’m not a piece of shit because I am. I felt so excluded from everything. I craved attention and I wasn’t getting it at home.” “So you went and fucked your dance partner...In my house.” You were now shaking. Namjoon placed his hand on you knee sending quivers of jealousy down Jimin’s chest. “I know that it was wrong. I regret doing it. I love you Y/N. Even if you had a baby with another man. I love you.” “Well I don’t know if I can give you another chance. You showed me that you don’t love me with your actions. And if you don’t love me how are you going to love my baby. You left as soon as he was born! You don’t even know his name.”
Namjoon’s POV
I could see the pain in Jimin’s eyes. He was truly sorry. Part of me wanted Y/N to send him away. To make her push him away. But I could see how much it hurt her as well. I know I have feelings for her, but i’m not sure they are as strong as the feelings they have for eachother. Jaejoon’s happiness should come first, and if his mother isn’t happy neither will he. “Y/N I think you should give Jimin another chance. I know what he did is wrong, but in his defense I did keep you from him through the whole pregnancy. I can tell that he loves you. Or else he wouldn’t have come to clear things up with you. As for you Jimin, you have to leave that insecure bullshit out of your relationship. Y/N loves you , and if she for some reason didn’t have time for you it doesn’t mean that she has stopped loving you. I won’t be in your way like before. All I ask is that I have equal legal custody of my child. I want you to be good to him. I want you to be good to Y/N. If you ever hurt my son, or Y/N again I will make sure you never come back into their lives.” I looked down at Jaejoon. I knew this was for the best. Even if my heart felt on fire. “Y/N as soon as I can I will make the arrangements for a divorce, and a public announcement will be made. Your family will be able to do whatever they want and you will be free to make what you want with your life. All I ask is you let me be in his life. And maybe we can be friends.” I could feel the knot in my throat. I pushed it back trying hard not to cry. “Namjoon, I can’t ask you to do this. You have given me so much and I have been an ass to you for the most part. I can’t let you do this. I know how much your family name means.” “I don’t care about any of that. All I care is that Jaejoon and you are happy.”
My mother was upset about my divorce, but she was more worried about my father to nag me about it. My father had told me to do whatever made me happy. And even though none of this made me happy I was going to keep my promise.

Namjoon had indeed kept his promise. He had submitted the divorce a couple weeks after Jaejoon was born. Things went smoothly with the divorce. Some investors did decide to leave from Namjoon’s company but it didn’t matter to him. He knew he was good at what he did and he wasn’t going to let that change anything. Jimin and you were better than ever. He was a great stepfather to Jaejoon and you loved him for that. You did try your best to forget Jimin’s unfaithfulness but when he would come home late it would come to mind. It also didn’t help that he saw his partner everyday. It made your skin boil but you didn’t have the heart to tell him to quit his dream job. Namjoon was sad to have let you go, but he knew in his heart that Jimin made you happier than you would ever be with him. When he thought his life couldn’t get better he found Kyungmi working with him. Ironically she became his secretary. The same position you had once applied for. She was sweet and caring. And very strong minded. She never let him put her down and always voiced her opinion. She reminded him of you at first. That is why he had asked her out. But this time he didn’t make the mistake of being an arrogant asshole about it. He never expected things to get serious with her but after a couple months he introduced her to Jaejoon and he knew then that she was the one.
Your son was growing so fast and you missed him being small. You couldn’t believe he was turning 4 years old in less than a week. It was going to be special because it would be the first time Namjoon invited his new girlfriend. They had been dating for a year now but he had never introduced you to her. He said that he would only do it if it were serious and it seemed it was going that way. “Hey Y/N, how are you doing?” Namjoon said as he kissed your forehead. “Hey Namjoon please come in. “I love your new place! It’s so you!” “I know right! I’m happy to see you! How was your business trip?” It was good, boring but good. So where is my little man? Joonie!!!!!!” He screamed. You could hear two tiny little steps running towards the two of you. “appa!!!!!!!!!” Namjoon swooped Jaejoon into his arms and showered him with kisses. “How’s my little man? Did your mom tell you we were going to spend the week together?” “yes daddy, mama said I could do whatever I wanted because it was my birthday soon.” “I don’t know if you can do whatever you want, but we can do lots of fun things.” He giggled as Namjoon tickled his tummy. “Is mama Kyungmi going to be home with us appa?” “What?” You looked at Namjoon angrily. “Honey why don’t you go pack some of your toys.” you said as you took him from Namjoon’s arm. “Okay!” he ran off and as soon as he was out of earshot you almost screamed at Namjoon. “Why is my baby calling Kyungmi mama?” “Y/N, I don’t see anything wrong with that. He does see her a lot and when i’m not home she takes care of him. Plus Jaejoon call Jimin dad and I don’t mind.” “Namjoon! Thats different. Jimin was there when he was weeks old. You have only known Kyungmi for a year.” “Well we actually have been dating for almost 3 ½ years.” You felt your blood rush to your head. But you didn’t know why you were getting so angry. “Why did you lie to me. Why did you say you had only been dating a year?” Namjoon turned red as he spoke “I didn’t want you to be worried about our son meeting my Kyungmi.” “So you thought hiding it from me was the best thing?”

My heart was pumping fast. Why would Namjoon lie to me about his relationship with Kyungmi. I didn’t care about that. I just want to know who is around my son. And it hurt that Jaejoon was calling another woman mama. “Look Y/N please be okay with it. I didn’t just come to pick up Jaejoon. I wanted to let you know something. You’re my best friend and I wanted to get your opinion.” I was a little confused at what he was saying and I guess it showed on my face. Suddenly Namjoon reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. My heart sank to my stomach. I knew what that box was. And honestly my heart told me to run. To avoid the situation, but my legs wouldn’t respond. “Do you think it’s too much? Kyungmi doesn’t like flashy things and I thought this was nice.” You didn’t know what to do so you just nodded. “Y/N are you okay? You look pale. Did you eat today?” He led me to the couch as he called for some water. “I guess I should have eaten a bit more during breakfast.” “Y/N, please take care of yourself. I don’t know what we would do without you.” He said as he kissed my forehead. “So when are you doing it?” I whispered. “I’m actually asking her tonight. I’m making her dinner and well That's why I came for Jaejoon. He loves her so much and she loves him with all her heart.” “Well I think everything is perfect. She’s a lucky woman.” I said, not knowing if I was talking about the ring or Namjoon.
Namjoon and Jaejoon had left a while ago and I was still in shock by everything. I had pushed away my feelings but I couldn't do it any longer. I knew I had these feelings for Namjoon after the divorce. After seeing how different it was to have only Jimin in my life. But I never thought I would be feeling this bad. It felt as though Namjoon pulled out my heart and shredded it into million pieces. It literally hurt to breathe.

🎤 DAY6 Youth Tour in Manila 2018 Experience
October 6, 2018 - 3 months late but all the feels during the concert is still alive and kicking! I just can’t fully put into the words on how to explain about the whole concert. I’m literally.. speechless. Anyway, this is the day that marks my first ever concert under the JYP Entertainment label. In the past, I’ve only went to K-Pop artists’ concerts under the YG Entertainment (cause I’m reallyyyy a YG Stan from the start).
This time, I have witnessed a very good artist by the name of DAY6. They are not your ordinary K-pop group since they are a band consisting of 5 members namely: Jae, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. Each member has an instrument they are good at and also everyone sings (although Dowoon is new to singing and I believe is starting to have vocal lessons.)
DAY6 Youth Tour in Manila was instantly sold out during the ticketing day. I was relieved and thankful that my friends and I got tickets for their concert. The concert was held at KIA Theater in Cubao, Quezon City and started at 7 in the evening and ended at around 10 o’clock.
The day actually started by having to wait in a very very long line to be able to get our wrist band and another line for our sequence number as we enter the venue. If I’m not mistaken, I think it took as about 3 hours until we were able to be inside Kia Theater. Thus, once entered, I have no decent photo with the “Youth” sign since we were in the standing area, having a little bit of sore legs, and all the excitement feeling we had.
BTW, this is again another first time for me to be in the standing area. I’ve always been choosing seated area since I don’t really like being “squeezed” in a crowded area.
The band started the night with the songs: "I Smile," "First Time," and "Better, Better."
The crowd cheers as the group finished their first set. YoungK even said, “Manila, I heard you guys are great singers. I heard you guys know how to sing.” which made MyDays cheered louder.
The concert continued with the songs, “Say Wow,” “Pouring,” and “Somehow.” The feeling of all of us was literally “in the moment” of watching DAY6 perform before our eyes.
In between I think I heard Wonpil said, “Mabuhay Philippines! Ako si Wonpil. So... so hot today.”
Next songs were: “I Need Somebody,” “I Wait,” “How Can I Say,” followed by “Like That Sun.”
Everyone were extremely screaming when YoungK said, “You guys are amazing, incredible, sensational, spectacular, unbelievable. Thanks to you guys I feel really happy." Well, who wouldn’t scream, right?
More songs were played by DAY6 and it were “Be Lazy,” “DANCE DANCE,” and “What Can I Do.”
“WARNING,” “I'm Serious, “Talking To” were up next in the band’s setlist.
A little pause from all those singing to be able to talk to the fans. Jae started talking how sweaty his shirt is.
Jae: "I dont think my shirt has ever been this sweaty. You want me to take it off?"
Fans were chanting to take his shirt and Jae was like taking it off but didn’t do it. He was just teasing us! 🤣
YoungK spoke next said, “My shirt was always like this.. “ as he was referring about his sweaty shirt.
Wonpil mentioned that the food in the Philippines is delicious and then the crowd shouted “Jollibee! Jollibee! Jollibee!” Wonpil asked, “What’s Jollibee?” YoungK even asked, "you guys hungry?" And the added, "ME TOO!!"
I’m really amazed how DAY6 can perform almost non-stop but still give an amazing performance. No regrets in supporting the band. 💙
“Shoot Me,” and “Congratulations” were performed next. The fan chant for “Shoot Me” was beyond amazing since we actually sang the song with DAY6.
“Congratulations” was the song all MyDays were singing while DAY6 were playing their instruments. I also think I heard Jae say, “Beautiful“ as MyDays were singing the song.
Everyone was singing along with “You Were Beautiful,” “I Loved You,” and “I Like You.” After, Wonpil said that Filipinos are great singers.
DAY6 were hinting that the show was almost over then the crowd shouted, “walang uuwi (no one will go home).” The boys didn’t know what it means but Dowoon started playing drums with its rhythm and the others were like chanting/sang along with MyDays while saying “walang uuwi. 😂 🤣
Next song played was “Letting Go.” Jae mentioned that MyDays are beautiful - “ang ganda niyo.” Sungjin even said “mamimiss ko kayo.” The boys promised to come back in Manila.
A video was being played which is the fan project for DAY6. The video has “Beautiful Feeling” as its background music which I think is very very right with how everyone feels during that night.

After watching the fan project, DAY6 got so emotional about it and I think they were speechless during that time. The crowd were cheering “DAY6″ continuously as to show how we truly love and support them.
JAE: “I know, I know you guys have been waiting. First of, we're sorry we can't come by earlier. But, I'm so sure we're coming back to Manila. And uhmm, thanks!
I think today, was a big event for us and if you don't mind we'll go one by one to just kind of tell how we feel today. Okay, Wonpil.”
WONPIL: “So today we are finally able to perform here in the Philippines. We always thought to ourselves when will we able to come here in the Philippines and I'm so happy that we are able to perform with a hot passion from you guys. You guys are actually more than what we expected. We heard you guys actually scream from behind the scenes before we start the whole show. So I think because of that we were able to perform our very first song with a great energy.
I'm so happy we were able to perform here in the Philippines even if the Philippines is quite far from Korea. Also the fact you guys are supporting us from here is really thankful, and I'm very thankful for you guys.
I think we're going back to Korea with great memories made here and just like the title, "Youth," we are in our youth right now so I hope you guys will all have a great youth. And also, I think that we will be able to end this concert well. Mahal ko kayo!”
YOUNGK: "So it was a great honor and pleasure to hold a concert in front of you guys, Philippines, Manila. And what I felt today was like Wonpil said, even before, even from the beginning. No not even the beginning, before the beginning you guys were singing along, right? And one of the songs that I could here the loudest, “Geureol Tende” (I Would). Oh man, I was excited even at the backstage and just like Wonpil said, you guys are more than what we expected, you guys were amazing. It's just a pleasure to just sing in front of these amazing people. And I feel like every time I feel this pleasure or like this "thankfulness," I feel like I should work harder. So basically, you guys are my motivation.
So, how was today? Even though they were sad songs. Are you guys happy? Are you guys as happy as I am? (crowd says YES!) Then I guess this show is a success. And that's all I ask for, that's all I wish for. By singing in front of you guys, if you guys can feel happy, if you guys could go home. There's a line in DANCE DANCE, (speaks the Korean lyrics).
Can you please translate? (referring to the Korean translator)
"If you go home you will be satisfied for you won't forget this feeling."Are you guys gonna do that for me? (The crowd cheers, YES!)

This is our first time in the Philippines, right? So we were kinda worried and nervous that we might not do well here in the Philippines. But I realized I did not need to worry because you guys enjoyed so much.
Thank you all for coming tonight! Sobrang saya ng gabing ito. Tama ba? (Tonight is so much fun. Is it right?) Thank you!
SUNGJIN: First of all, I'd like to say sorry for making you guys wait a lot. When I first saw your phrase, the one you are holding up, something came up to my mind right away. Even if we have been loved for a long time, we are worth it. You guys are so worth it to be loved.
Just like what Dowoon said a while ago, we were quite nervous and worried for this concert but because of you guys were able to perform well.
So thank you so much! So until the next time, it won't take that long. Let's see each other again! Thank you!
JAE: It's really.. It's been an amazing night with all. And I have reasons to come here cause all my music inspiration are from here. Uhm you guys know, AJ Rafael? Anyway, I kinda grow up doing music through YouTube and I learned a lot from artists that are from here. And I just want to thank you guys, thank Manila, thank Philippines for giving me music pretty much.
So thank you for that and I mean like we all say before, we're really sorry we couldn't come earlier. We really want to, honestly wanted to.
The food here is good. What did I eat? Yesterday I had, I don't know if I pronounce it right but.. I looked it up, I looked it up before I came. I was like, "I gotta have, gotta have lechon." It was really really great. You guys have amazing food here.
Overall, guys I don't think I have ever sing that much, as in ever in my entire life. It was an amazing intense night. Also I think, I ever not sing the first part of "You Were Beautiful." But you guys were so loud and so beautiful, I couldn't. I just can't.Overall, tonight, I got a message for everybody, "Ang ganda niyo!" (You are beautiful)
Their words were very touching that really made every MyDay teary-eyed. DAY6 mentioned that they really wanted to come to Manila even before and were very thankful for the warm welcome for them.
Afterwards, Sungjin invited everyone to take a photo with the banner we were holding saying, “The wait was long, but you were worth it”.
Crowd were cheering for DAY6′s encore. The band sang last three songs which were “Wish,” “Freely,” and “Sing Me.”
The boys were extra hyper during the encore that even Sungjin and Jae went closer to the crowd. Lucky lucky fans who had close encounter with them! 😭
The show ended at around 10 in the evening, having 3-hour concert. I really am just at awe how good they are at performing live. 😍 I felt DAY6 is just so awesome that they deserve every recognition and future awards they’ll received. 😭

Even though it has been three months already, the lyrics mentioned by YoungK is still true and I repeat: "If you go home you will be satisfied for you won't forget this feeling." I think I won’t forget the feeling during that night ever. To DAY6, I might be a newbie but you are so worth it in every aspect. Again, the wait was long, but you are worth it.

my experience at DAY6 Live & Meet in NA- NYC
Ok so up until I got to the venue, things were pretty bad. I was already running late cause of my exam, which is why I ended up switching my benefits, so I went home to fix my make up but was in a rush that yo girl completely forgot her freaking eyebrows lolol so i was freaking out cause i’m meeting the loves of my life and i can’t show them eyebrow-less liz but there are stores everywhere in the city that i just quickly purchased something and ran to the venue in the disgusting, humid rainy weather where, clearly, non- new yorkers were walking like turtles but luckily i got to the venue about 10 minutes before the show started.. thank God
(warning: long and jargon)
so Dowoon was the first to come out and he was all shy and smiles, and then wonpil came out in a suit and i was telling myself that i didn’t like where this was going and then freaking YOUNG K COMES OUT WITH A LOOSE TIE and by then, i’m pretty much only staring at him cause i’m in awe of his beauty once again that i didn’t even realize sungjin and jae came out. The first song was I Wait & not even 5 minutes into the start of the show, this is what i get at the end of the song THE FIRST FREAKING SONG
so i’m pretty much dead and then they performed Hunt next so about halfway into the song, I lift my cheap sign, with black ink cause this girl cannot afford color ink, which read “나 DAY6 음악 매일 듣고 YOUNG K 라는 가수 많이 좋아해" (”I listen to DAY6 everyday, I like a singer named Young K a lot” – in reference to this) and yo girl was looking at him and he saw my sign AND READ IT AND THEN MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME AND SMILED LIKE dsjfksldjf this lasted almost 10 seconds
I WAS LITERALLY SCREAMING INSIDE BUT I SMILED BACK AT HIM AND YALL, WE HAD OUR MOMENT!! BUT LOWKEY, I WANTED TO ACTUALLY CRY AND LOOK AWAY BECAUSE I GOT SO SHY HAHAHA and so yeah, i’m pretty much dead only six minutes into the show but boy did this again towards the end of the show (which i didn’t catch on video) when i raised my sign during I Smile and he made eye contact with me again and kept smiling so i’m dead once again………….
some highlights during the q&a that i found cute: (i was mainly focused on youngfeel cause i was on their side and was deprived of young k when i went to their concert this past summer) - young k saying “you guys (My Days) are adorable" WHEN HE’S REALLY THE ADORABLE ONE - jae singing sunday morning - young k stomping his feet like 3 times and being extra cute af and jumping up from his chair - youngfeel hitting each other and young k telling wonpil to calm down - young k forcing collapsedone to get up from his seat during the preference game - sungjin’s confidence when he speaks - dowoon saying he wants to be able to talk to a bear and sungjin imitates one as always, their vocals were amazing and beautiful but i couldn’t really hear that well since so many people were screaming, but i’m glad we did since Young K said he was worried that NA My Days wouldn’t applaud them or be able to sing the lyrics but he said he was wrong, and the way jae said "beautiful" so sweetly when we sang his first verse in congratulations, and then Young K getting teary eyed by the end of I Smile.. everything was great and during the “encore”, Jae literally stood on the chair in the row behind mine and then stopped right in front of me to jump so girl’s gotta do what she gotta do and i jumped with him and now i’m still sore af. BUT AFTER BEING A FAN OF JAE FOR ALMOST 7 YEARS, AND SEEING HIM DEBUT AND ACCOMPLISH GOALS AND NOW COME TO PERFORM AT HIS HOMETOWN AS WELL AS MY HOMETOWN KSJF I SAY THIS ALL THE TIME BUT I REALLY AM A PROUD MAMA. After the show, I went up the stairs for hi-touch and I was so nervous and when I went up the stairs, Young K was first and I’m dead serious, he looked exactly like this …………
and i was honestly so intimidated cause he looks so .. fierce (? idk if that’s the appropriate word) and he was waiting because I had to walk up to the table they were behind and let’s be real, he does give off that cold vibe at first but anyways, i began walking up to him and his face suddenly brightened up like he remembered my sign or something and was smiling and leaned forward and looked me in the eyes while he was holding my hand with his hand WHICH IS ACTUALLY SO WARM, SMOL, AND SOFT LIKE WHAT THE …. I WAS DECEIVED BY THOSE PICTURES (but i’m still a hand stan) and he told me “thank you for coming” and tbh i don’t remember what i said to him but i think i told him “thank you so much, i love you” but idk why i said that when i had something else in mind and was planning on speaking to him in konglish but he didn’t let go or look away and actually didn’t let go till he gave YOU the chance to speak but honestly, i remember my moments with the other members but with young k, everything is such a blur. i was THAT nervous and just couldn’t make eye contact without wanting to look away cause he was THAT BEAUTIFUL AND SO SWEET lol and he said he got chubby but IF HE IS CHUBBY, IDK WHAT I AM CAUSE HIS FACE WAS LITERALLY THE SIZE OF MY FIST …….. then I moved onto Dowoon and he just bowed slightly but I told him “수고했어요" (you worked hard) and moved on but he turned around to look at me again so I turned back and he said “huh? 오~” and smiled like he was so taken aback that I spoke Korean. Jae was next, ok i’m not that short or tall but i realized this before but jae is actually not as tall as i expected and he was so chill about it like he just grabbed my hand and held it almost as if i was his bro and said “thank you for coming” and my dumbass self just repeated him ……. so I moved onto Wonpil and told him “수고했어요" as well and he said “아! 감사합니다~!” in that dragged out adorable tone he uses all the time, and then I moved onto Sungjin and just as I remembered, his not so tall yet nicely built physique and his BEAUTIFUL EYES … I told him “수고했어요" as well and he made that usual face he makes when he’s thinking about something and said “오~~”, bowed, and smiled. SO OVERALL, it was such an unforgettable memory and i’m honestly so proud of how far they’ve come, and am also so thankful that I get to listen to and support such beautiful and humble artists, and am also happy that I get to be in such a beautiful fandom who follow their artists and are also good singers, whether you’re in Korea or one of Jae’s kids overseas. and if you read all of this, i’m sorry i wasted your time BUT I JUST LOVE YALL MY DAYS AND DAY6 OK GOODBYE (Btw I took a few mainly Young K focused fancams that you can check out on my youtube if you want. )

All You Need is Confidence
Part 2
A/N: I don’t own any gifs I use, this is just for fun. I’ll probably make this a serious just because it’s fun to write. Enjoy! I’m so sorry it sucks, I have writers block so bad! It’s going fast too because, honestly, I just wanna get to the good parts.
Warnings: Minor language, suggestive themes, student teacher relationships, and poly relationships. Also Boy x boy stuff too!
Your mind went blank, there was no thought in the world passing through you as you kissed Mr. Park Jaehyung, your damned English teacher. Time stopped-or it seemed to stop-everything was just focused on you two and how your lips moved flawlessly against each other. Softly, Mr. Park's hand slide down from your cheek, firmly holding your shoulder. You almost forgot someone else was sitting in the room with the both of you.
"Ahem," Mr. Kim cleared his throat.
Instantly, you jumped away from Mr. Park, your chair moving back with a loud screeching noise echoing in the room. Was it always this quiet? Everything that happened just hit you, the fact you had a panic attack in the middle of class and let without permission, or maybe that your teacher kissed you and you kissed him back, better yet another teacher was in the same room as the both of you!
Your head hung low with shame, you couldn't fathom kissing your teacher was a good thing. Although, at the moment it never felt better to kiss Mr. Park's perfect lips, still, it was illegal and your dumbass craved more.
"Y/N?" You flinched a bit upon hearing Mr. Park speak up, his honey voice making you shake to your core. "I'm sorry-"
Before he could apologize, you stood up, abruptly, scaring both teachers into thinking you felt violated. That's the last thing they wanted for you, to feel harassed by the sudden emotions of a teacher.
"Do-Don't," you stuttered out.
There was nothing else to say, neither Mr. Kim nor Mr. Park didn't have the heart to say anything to you. Mr. Park didn't want you to be freaked out, really, he wanted to tell you he loved and cared for you. But, he decided you didn't need to know that for now, it still seemed you were conflicted by that kiss just now. Or the fact you could get reported by Mr. Kim due to him witnessing this whole event.
"I think...," you started, nearly choking on your words. "I think I need to go home?"
It came out more as a question less than a statement, both teachers just nodded in response instead of saying anything at all. Which, you had to admit, any other word or action would flip your lid.
"Alright...," Mr. Kim trailed on, deciding to talk before Mr. Park could. "I'll tell the office I sent you home since you...um...threw up in my class? That's okay right?"
If you weren't so flipped the fuck out, you would've cooed at Mr. Kim's "that's okay right?"
"That's fine...I guess...I'm gonna go."
Without another word, without a goodbye, without anything at all, you picked up your stray bag slinging it over your shoulder. Hastily running out the door with a million thoughts running through your mind. Mr. Park kissed you like full-fledged kissed you and the worst part about a good-looking, funny, TEACHER kissing you was that you liked it. The kiss lingered on your lips, the feeling of his plump lips echoing begging for more, it was like a shot of serotonin. You tried rubbing the kiss off your lips, shaking the feeling almost as you walked to your car.
Long story short you kissed a teacher on a Monday, but now it's Thursday and you haven't been to school yet. Of course, you didn't tell a single soul about the events that happened. You also didn't know if Mr. Kim reported either of you to the principal, considering the school didn't call your mom or anything you just assumed Mr. Kim never told either. You managed to get your mom to call you out of school for two days, to your mother two days were more than enough. The only option you had was to go to school and skip Mr. Park's class and let's just mention this you weren't disgusted Mr. Park kissed you, but the fact you don't know how to act around him now.
Anyway, as your mom was pushing you out of the house to get ready to head to school, Mr. Kim was having a very heated conversation with Mr. Park.
"What the hell were you thinking," Mr. Kim's voice was a whisper disguised as a scream. '
Early this morning he came into Mr. Park's classroom when they both didn't have class, pacing back and forth around the room. So many emotions ran through Mr. Kim's head, he couldn't quite place a finger on what exact emotion he was feeling. Wonpil had feelings for you, seeing you kiss Mr. Park-his best friend-made him upset for an odd reason. Upset that you didn't kiss him first but rather kissed Mr. Park, but the fact that he wasn't mad about the kiss itself made him wonder. In the moment, he was oddly entranced by the way both of your lips met, keeping a close eye on your both. Even weirder he fantasized himself kissing you...and Jae. This all... was new for Wonpil, yes he always knew he had feelings for you. But Jae, that was different. Jae and he were always close so he thought the feelings he had were just the closeness they shared, as of recently Wonpil's starting to rethink their "friendship."
"I didn't mean to," Jae spoke up.
Mr. Park sat at his desk, rubbing his temples lightly trying to figure out the mess he just made. Teachers are usually updated on the students not coming to school, so when they didn't see your name on the absentee list a conversation sparked up between them.
"It all just happened so fast-You don't understand-"
"Hyung, I do understand!"
Mr. Park's argument was obviously weak, they both knew it all too well. Wonpil swallowed harshly, looking at his friend in a conflicting matter.
"What," Jae grew frustrated as it neared his first class, all he wanted was this controversy to be over. "Pil do you want me to say sorry! Do you want me to regret kissing her because I don't!"
Wonpil and Jae fought in the past, typically in their high school years, but Jae has never raised his voice like he was doing now. It was only natural that Wonpil was taken aback, new things and emotions seemed to be coming to life.
"I like her," Jae firmly said, trying not to sound stern but still getting his point across.
"Hyung," Wonpil started, but Jae raised a hand before he could finish stopping him further.
"Pil, I know this might ruin our...I know you like her too. Right?"
Wonpil only nodded shyly, he knew it wasn't his turn to talk. Jae had more to say about the topic of liking her.
"Maybe there's a way she can pick one of us-or none of us."
"Jae," Wonpil tried, feeling himself grow uncomfortable, but failed due to Jae's upcoming rant.
"Or maybe there's no hope for either of us because it's illegal-"
"Jae," Wonpil spoke again, but still not getting through to him.
"But what if she chooses one of us, what happens to the other!"
"Jae! Let me talk to just a second," Wonpil whined, but successfully shutting Jae up.
"Jae," Wonpil started, blushing softly not making any eye contact. "Have you ever had multiple relations, at the same time..."
"What do you mean," Jae asked, slightly confused at the sudden question. You know, after they just got done screaming at each other for liking the same girl.
"I mean," Wonpil started, leaning onto a nearby desk being a blushing mess. The thought he was having wasn't exactly the most "normal" thought he's had. "Have you ever dated two people at the same time?"
"Wonpil, I don't cheat on people I would think you'd know that-"
"Jae," Wonpil moaned out of frustration. Usually, he was the naive one, but currently, Jae is making it hard not to throw something at his head. "Like three people dating, each other, at the same time."
"Pil," Jae's eyes opened wide, the first-period bell ringing at the same time. "Are you saying you want to be in a relationship with Y/N and...me?"
Students flowed into Mr. Park's room, some muttering hi's to both teachers as they just stood in the middle of the room. A look of disbelief was plastered over Jae's face, Wonpil was still in shock that he even insinuated that he wanted a poly relationship with his best friend and a student! Wonpil doesn't even know what he wants, but yet he suggested an idea that made his heart flutter just thinking about all three of them in a relationship. It was a schoolgirl thing to do. Jae, on the other hand, was still processing what Mr. Kim had said. Did Wonpil just indirectly confess to him? His best friend wants to date him and Y/N, why is this so hard to fathom? Wonpil has always had different ideas, but this is a conflicting idea.
Unfortunately for Mr. Park, class was starting and he needed to focus on Shakespeare rather than the fact his friend has a crush on him. That's just what he did, taught the real meaning of Macbeth with the lingering thought of a poly relation stuck in his brain.
Mr. Kim walked to his class, the second period of the day, quickly he put a happy-to-be-here face on instead of the dear-god-what-did-I-do face then walked into class like nothing happened. All of his students were sitting down, talking amongst each other as they were waiting for Mr. Kim to start teaching.
"Good morning class," Wonpils soft voice spoke up.
He walked over to his desk, picking up an attendance binder getting prepared to check who's there. One by one, he called out the student's name, all of them replying with a monotone here. When he got to your name, his breath hitched, he tried to play it off so the class wouldn't realize it. Looking around the room he saw you, writing in a notebook, with your head down. Nonetheless, you said here just so he would continue class.
After that, the class went by like a breeze for Mr. Kim. The impending doom of talking to Mr. Park gushed through him, but the whole period Mr. Kim thought of one thing. You. Just in that moment, he saw how depraved and gloomy you were. The bell rang, students got up with their friends walking out of class without a care in the world. Mr. Kim took this as an opportunity to talk to you, just to make sure you were okay since you've been gone.
"Miss L/N, may I see you for a minute," his voice sounded so small, but yet it hit you like a brick.
You mentally sighed to yourself, this is what you've been dreading for the last two days. Yet, you knew it had to happen at some point, this needs to be addressed whether it was ideal or not.
"Mr. Kim," you smiled, with a hint of falseness. "What can I do for you?"
"Y/N," he softly spoke, watching the last kid walk out of the classroom. Swiftly, Wonpil shut the door so your conversation would be at the least bit private. "How are you doing with...everything?"
"I'm fine," you lied, and certainly it didn't fool Mr. Kim.
"Look, we need to talk-"
"Mr. Kim," you interrupted, internally freaking out. "I-I don't wanna get expelled or get Mr. Park fired, so please, I'm begging you don't tell anyone."
Mr. Kim leaned back on his desk, arms crossing in the process. Only one thing came out of his mouth, one simple question.
"Do you regret it?"
At first, you were taken aback at the sudden question. Was this some sort of test Mr. Kim was doing, if you said yes would he report you? But this is Mr. Kim we're talking about, as you got to know him you realized there truly isn't a bad bone in his body. He couldn't hurt a fly even if he wanted to.
You answered back, hoping he wouldn't get you expelled. "No, I don't think so."
Wonpil's jaw clenched, a bit of anger bubbling through him, he could see your whimsical expression as you were reminded of the kiss. It's written all over your face, you liked Mr. Park. You took into notice at the sudden shift in the aura, Mr. Kim was tapping his foot aggressively.
"Mr. Kim, I'm sorry! Nothings going to happen, nothing at all! So please don't-"
"Damnit Y/N!" Mr. Kim yelled, instantly shutting you up, he was frazzled and he couldn't seem to handle it.
Handle these emotions he has, the love, the joy, the anger, the jealously...This was not something he's ever experienced in his adult life, and he's feeling stupid for it.
"You like Mr. Park," he said, more in a statement way. He rubbed his head, carefully picking out his next move. Suddenly he was reminded of the conversation with Jae earlier, an idea lit up in his head. "What about me?"
"Huh," you muttered out, wide-eyed at the unexpected question.
"Y/N," Mr. Kim flashed his puppy eyes, unconsciously. "Do you like me...like you like Mr. Park?"
His eyes almost pleaded for a yes to come out of your mouth. For some reason, your mouth went dry. What exactly was happening?
"Mr. Kim," you started, but Mr. Kim already had you by the waist. Pulling you into his chest with a gentle tug, his hand gripped you softly around your tiny waist. He looked down at you, with passion in his eyes, anticipating that you answer.
"I like you, even though it's...wrong...I like you Y/N."
As you gazed into Wonpil's eyes, trying to make up the confession he just gave. Mr. Park had come to Mr. Kim's room to finish their conversation from earlier, only to be met with him holding you, confessing to you, leaning into you, kissing you...That was the moment Jae got it, he understood why Wonpil mentioned a poly relationship.

Seeing Day6 Live | #Day6inDet
!!Warning!! Long post ahead
Excuse me for being mushy and lame..
Honestly being able to watch Day6 perform live is a magical experience. Seeing Day6 in person.. it’s crazy the amount of emotions I felt the moment these five men walked onto that stage, it was insane. I really wish that all MyDays who really love and appreciate Day6 will be able to experience them live even if it’s just once. I’m wishing everyone the best of luck because it’s nothing like seeing your favorite people right in front of you...
October 27, 2017 was literally the best day of my life this year. It was surreal and I find my self at times throughout the day thinking “Did it really happen?” I’m going to discuss what I could recall from last night. I might post more stuff about the fanmeet later on but this it’s what’s refresh on my mind right now.
So the moment 8pm hit, the time the show was suppose to start the crowd started chanting “Day6!” over and over but the show still didn’t start and so the crowd went through all of the guys names starting with “Brian” Literally the entire venue minus me was like “Brian, Brian” but I’m like it’s YOUNG K, soon they went from Brian to Young K and it seemed to be a chanting war of both his names back and forth lol followed by everyone else’ s names.
Anyways the intro video started and Dowoon was the first person to walk out on stage and take a seat at his drums and BOY that’s when my heart started to race and I was like OH FUCK this is happening, he’s gorgeous he’s really there. Then followed Wonpil, Young K ( I think Wonpil came out before Young K I could be wrong forgive me I was trying not to loose my shit ) Jae, and last but definitely not least Sungjin. LET ME FUCKING TELL YOU when Sungjin walked out MY KNESS GOT WEAK I LITERALLY TURNED AND HELD ON TO THE BACK OF MY SEAT BECAUSE I WAS NOT READY. I was in Section 2, row L Literally right in front of where he stands on stage so he’s all I can see ( So I’m like 12 rows away from the stage? Something like that.. ) BUT ISTG Sungjin’s eyes sparkled like I’m not super close to him but I can see his eyes shining from where I’m sitting AND I shit you not I almost died.
So they performed I Wait first, I thought I was ready, I’ve watched the livestreams of the other shows before Detroit so I knew the setlist and what to get prepared for BUT YOU CANNOT PREPARE YOURSELF FOR DAY6 AT ALL. They started playing and it was so hype from start to finish, then they went on to Hunt and I’m sure most of you know the rest of the songs played before they actually sat down but even before that they kind said a few words??
Anyways the fanmeet portion began. The host came out and the translator the boys got seats and introduced themselves and I’m sorry I was one of those people who let out a louder than usual scream when Sungjin spoke like I cheered pretty loud for the other boys BUT come on... my bias introduced himself I didn’t even expect that sound to leave my throat.
So after introductions they answered some questions y’know when they pick a question a fan has asked them.. I was in awe with how adorable they were, how genuinely nice they seem and just wow I really appreciate them.
After that came a game of Bingo and I was like OH this is new because I think we’re the only stop that got the Bingo game. If I remember correctly LA & NYC had the preference game and Austin had the Wiii Boxing.
They played Bingo and if they got bingo they could draw five raffle tickets and whichever fan had that matching ticket would get a prize. They all drew one and matched with a fan, my heart was about to explode because I wanted to be picked but I also didn’t want them to see me I’m weird LMAO. I WAS LITERALLY ONE NUMBER OFF WHEN DOWOON WAS CALLING OUT HIS BOYYY. Anyways it was funny because Young K drew a ticket and no one had it so he looked sad then he had to draw again and looked happy when he finally got someone lol.
OH btw Sungjin danced to Gashina due to the number he chose for Bingo ( I forgot to mention they had to do a task that was hidden behind the number they chose ) Jae created an impromptu song AND LORD JESUS BLESS HIS VOICE, Young K’s task had everyone involved and everyone of them had to strike a pose from the option that came up which happened to be MICHAEL JACKSON so they had to do an MJ posed and Young K failed lol. Dowoon had to do a mystery box and touch something without seeing it and guess what it was THAT POOR BABY HAD TO TOUCH AN ALLIGATOR/CROCODILE IT WAS ONE OF THOSE AND I WAS LIKE OH SHIT (idk if it was truly real tho) when he realized what it was he jumped, he was cute.
Wonpil’s task was to eat a lemon and try to whistle afterward, he was cute.. I barely heard the whistle but we were all like YEAH HE WHISTLED GIVE HIM THE POINT.
This might be out of order but I remember Jae saying some really nice and encouraging stuff and talking about how he got the Kpopstar audition and that he was a political science major in college WOW.
I remember someone was like “Preach Jae” and he was so hype like ‘I’M GONNA PREACH” lmao I love him.
After the games were over they told us how we will enjoy music for the rest of the time.
SUNGJIN’S “BAND IS MUSIC” I ALMOST SHED A TEAR
They left the stage and showed the video of them in Detroit, SUNGJIN’S CUT and wow it was nice ;-;
AFTER that they came back on stage and performed You Were Beautiful and I wanted to cry on the floor but didn’t.
At the end when they did freely, I was already in the aisle and Jae did his signature jump off the stage and walk into the center thing and that’s when I got closer too and BOY what a performer... DAY6 ARE A BUNCH OF AMAZING PERFORMERS.
It all ended after that unless you had p2 hi-touch and I did... and that’s when my anxiety kicked in a little I was so nervous, I knew it was going to be a quick process because when is hi-touch ever lengthy? but I was AKJSKSKDLFLFG;GK my best friend was like you wanna go before me and I was like GIRL NO LMAO I’M ABOUT TO RUN AWAY. Our row was up to walk on stage and here it goes, where my life was about to end.
Dowoon was first, very friendly! At first it was hard to take him in, it was hard to take all of them in at the moment and their little actions. He was sort of leaning on the table and he really didn’t high-five but kinda grabbed my hand a little and was like “Hello, thank you!” I said thank you in return my voice was really small and high-pitched BECAUSEI WAS NOT READY FOR THIS. Next was Wonpil.... WONPIL INTIMIDATED ME SO MUCH GUYS OH MY GOD, HIS GAZE WAS STRONG AND I COULDN’T REALLY MAKE OUT HIS EXPRESSION BUT HE WAS ALSO REALLY HANDSOME, HIS FACE IS CHISELD BY THE GODS WTF Wonpil increased my nerves but his voice was so nice when he said “Hi and thank you” Next was Young K and istg I remember nothing but his smile, he was all teeth it was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SMILE.
THEN HERE WE GO PARK SUNGJIN... MFING SUNGJIN... GRABBED MY HAND IT WAS KINDA AGRESSIVELY SOFT LIKE IS THAT EVEN A THING BUT THAT’S THE BEST WAY I CAN DESCRIBE IT. Sungjin seemed really thrilled like so bubbly, He said “Thank you for coming” and I said it back though I wanted to say I love you, I wanted to say that to all of them but I choked.
ISTG I’M NOT EVEN TRYING TO BE BIASED but his grip on my hand lingered and I was crying in my head. I was so stunned about everything that Jae ALMOST became a blur I say almost because I was like still trying to process Sungjin and our hand separating that when Jae ALSO grabbed my hand and leaned into my view and JESUS CHRIST HE’S SO PRETTY He was like “Ayeee, thanks for coming” I did say thank you but oh my god I was not ready for Sungjin or Jae... HI TOUCH WAS A SHORT SPECIAL EXPERIENCE BUT WITH JAE AND SUNGJIN INTERACTING WITH THEM STOOD OUT THE MOST WITH ME
Afterward we exited the venue I was still stunned like did that all happen??? I kept saying stuff like that all the way to my airbnb with my best friend and then when we made it to the front door everything I had been feeling throughout the whole show and hi-touch came out of me at once and I started crying akskdlf
I never expected to fall so hard for Day6, they’re amazing, they make amazing music... there’s not a single song I dislike. I love how hard working they are and I love how hard they’ve worked this year giving their fans their all. I’ve been a solid fan for 6 1/2 months and honestly stanning them is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life, they’re literally like home, the MyDay fandom is one of the best with such kind people and I’m grateful to be able to experience loving Day6 with them.
