'Admit it, pretty girl. I won the game.' Derek stated, while we all were sitting in the conference room.

'Yeah, only because you cheated!' I said back, with a chuckle on my face.

'No, I didn't!'

'Yes, you did.' my husband confirmed, while the others nodded.

Just as Derek wanted to argue back, Aaron came in with a rush. We all got quiet, looking at his concerned state. It made us also worried.

'We need to leave, now.' he spoke in a serious voice, meaning it.

'Hotch, what's wrong?' Emily asked, as we all looked up at him, confused.

'There is a school shooting.' he started, as we all got up immediately, but he stopped us.

'In the school of our kids.' he finished, all our eyes wide, full of fear and concern.

Our son, Henry and Jack, went all to the same school. However, they weren't the same age. Jack is a little bit older, while Henry and (Y/S/N) are almost the same age. But, they were best friends, which is great.

We took as quick as we could our stuff, running towards the black SUV's. I sat next to Spencer, holding his hand tightly. I looked him in the eyes, with concern and fear. Spencer looked at me the same way.

Finally, we all made it into the school, already wearing our bulletproof vests. Just as we stepped out of the SUV's, we heard the loud sound of shooting. My heart went faster and faster, worse scenarios taking my thoughts over. A single tear, escaping my eye.

'HOTCH!' suddenly Derek yelled, as just on time, he shot.

The unsub, collapsed on the ground, while crying it our from the pain. He tried to shoot at us, the first thing when we arrived, but luckily Derek didn't let him. Derek ran over to him, making sure his weapon was out of sight, and cuffing the shooter.

There was standing an officer, who probably made the call, waiting for us. We all walked, with high speed, towards him.

'Is there another shooter?' Aaron tried to ask him as normal as possible, but we could hear his shaking voice.

'That was the only one. We all heard shots a few times, but I don't know if anyone got hit.'

'Alright, Reid, Prentiss, Morgan and I, are bringing the kids in safety downstairs. JJ, Rossi and (Y/L/N), you do that upstairs.' Aaron ordered, as we all nodded, before entering.

Just like he had said, me, JJ and David, went upstairs. We first called all the children with us, saying they were safe, and that they needed to go outside. As we had all the kids, and the classrooms were empty, David offered to bring them, together with the teachers, outside. JJ and I, thanked him, and went to look for our own children, as they weren't with the rest of the kids.

We both went different directions, calling out their names, looking in every classroom. My heard raced as crazy, as I tried not to breakdown, from fear and concern.

I went inside a classroom, seeing nobody.

'(Y/S/N), Henry, Jack!' I called out, as suddenly I heard footsteps running towards me.

'Mommy! Auntie (Y/N)! Aunt (Y/N)!' the three familiar voices, making me sign out a breath of relief.

To be clear, I wasn't technically their aunt, which I don't mind. But, I've spent a lot of time with them, and they started to call me also "auntie (Y/N)" or "aunt (Y/N)", making me really happy.

I squatted down, while spreading my arms open, as the three boys ran into my arms. I hugged them tight, and pressed a kiss on each of their heads.

'Omg, there you are. We all were so worried. Are you guys okay? Are you in any pain?' I asked them, slightly releasing them from the hug.

'We don't have pain, mommy.' my son said, as they nodded their heads in agreement.

Their eyes were still filled with fear, and I could see, that they have cried.

'Everything is okay now. We have the bad guy, he can't come anymore. You are all safe.' I assured them, as they calmed down.

'Let's find your mommy, Henry, and you daddy, Jack. They are really worried about you.'

'Do you want to hold my hands?' I asked them, as they immediately took them.

I stood up, (Y/S/N) holding my left hand, while Henry was holding my right. Jack, holding Henry's hand.

I walked out of the classroom, as I just saw JJ across the hallway, leaving a classroom, only to quickly go to another. She was with her back towards us, causing me to call her.

'JJ!' she turned around, as a weight fell off her shoulders.

'MOMMY!' Henry yelled, as he let go of my hand, running in the arms of the blonde.

'Henry, I was so worried. Are you alright? Oh, come here.' she lifted him up, hugging him.

She thanked me, with appreciation on her face. I smiled, happy the two had reunited. In the meanwhile, I was holding Jack's hand with my right, as we walked closer to them.

'DADDY!' Jack yelled, as he also let go of my hand, running towards his father, who just took the stairs.

Aaron immediately lifted him up, hugging him also closely.

'There you are. Is everything okey? You're safe now, buddy.' he reassured his son, also whispering a "thank you", as I replied with a smile.

'Hotch, have you seen Spence?'

'Yeah, he's looking worriedly downstairs.'

'Thanks.'

I squatted down again, meeting our beautiful son.

'Let's go find daddy.' I said to him, as I lifted him up. I pressed a kiss on his head, still so relieved he is okay. Relieved that everyone is okay.

I went downstairs with him, as I saw, Derek, David and Emily, just leaving a classroom, still looking for the missing kids.

'Oh, you have him.' Emily breathed out a sigh of relief, they all did.

'Yeah, Henry and Jack are also fine.' I answered, as they relaxed more.

'That's good. No one got hurt, by the way.' Emily spoke out, putting a smile on my face.

'That's great. Do you guys know where Spencer is?'

'He's looking here somewhere.' Derek answered, as I thanked them, before leaving to find Spencer.

'Sweetheart, do you want to call your daddy, please?' I asked our son, as he nodded.

'DADDY!' he yelled, as Spencer rushed out of a classroom. Once he saw us, he ran towards us.

'Gosh, are you both okay? Are you hurt, buddy?' he said, worriedly, as I handed our son to him.

(Y/S/N), shook his head, while his dad hugged him tight.

'I found him with Henry and Jack, they're all fine. No one got hurt.' I assured him, as I planted a kiss on his cheek. He did the same with me, before my phone began to rang.

Seeing who was calling, I answered my phone, and putted it on speaker.

'Finally, someone picks up. Please, please, tell me the children are alright.' I heard Penelope, concern raising her voice.

'Everyone is fine, Penny. No one got hurt, and we found (Y/S/N), Henry and Jack.'

'Thank goodness, you all need to bring the kids to here, I need to cuddle them.' she joked, but deep down, she meant it.

'Will do, Penny.' and, with that, everyone went back to the BAU, with the kids.

Chapter 3: Seeing the show

I followed Melissa to the end of the line where people were waiting to get into the theatre. We were in can can seats so we had to be early, but the line was pretty long. When the doors to the theatre opened the line went quick and before I knew it I was in the theatre. Melissa had seen the show once so she knew exactly where we needed to go. When I walked into the house I was stunned by all the decor. The windmill, the elephant. Everything from the movie was there. It was so pretty! I asked Melissa to take my picture so I could put it in my Instagram story. We also took a picture together which I posted with the caption: Best friends night out! Rouge baby!

We walked further into the house to get in our can can seats. I knew they would be great seats, but I hadn't expected it to be this close to the stage. We were in the left can can area, but the two chairs on the most right side so we were right next to the catwalk.

I took my playbill picture with the decor and took everything in.

"Do you love it already?" Melissa asked.

"Lis I can't tell you how happy I am right now. Look at our places and look at the decor it's stunning!"

"I knew you would like it, you like the movie so I thought this was the best place to take you." Melissa said proud of herself.

"Thank you so much Lis, I love you!"

Just when I wanted to say another thing to my best friend, the pre show began.

My mouth fell open from all the beautiful costumes and all the cast that was on stage getting us in the right mood.

Like ten minutes later the music changed and I heard people gasping and some girls where screaming. Melissa took my head and turned it to my right.

The only thing I could say at that moment was: "OMG!"

I was to stunned to speak. I didn't know what to say or to do.

It was when he started walking that I realised what was happening. He came closer and I got more anxious. He knew that I would be here. I told him just before, but why didn't he tell me? Why didn't Melissa tell me?

Melissa laid her hand on my shoulder and whispered "It's gonna be okay." She must have noticed that I was anxious. Aaron walked further down the catwalk, turned around and looked into the audience. At that exact moment we locked eyes. He saw the fear in my eyes and smiled at me. I smiled back at him. Then he raised the sign and the musical really started.

His smile was just calming. I knew he saw me and he knew that I saw him. He looked great in his costume!

The show was amazing! I think my mouth was open for the whole 1st act. Everytime Aaron had the chance he looked my way, at first I smiled but after a while it made me blush. He was so good at what he did out there and his voice was just angelic.

The Elephant Love Medley came to an end. Christian kissed Satine and the lights on stage went out. It was time for intermission.

I didn't notice myself but my mouth was still open.

"Everything okay? Melissa asked laughing a bit. She closed my mouth from under my chin.

"Yeah I'm totally fine." I responded trying to sound as calm as possible.

"I can see that." She laughed a little louder now.

"I'm just... I'm confused Lis. Why didn't he tell me he was the lead in Moulin Rouge? I told him that I was going to see the show tonight."

"I think he wanted to surprise you! Everytime he meets girls and they all know exactly who he is and what he does. Maybe he liked it that it was different with you." Melissa said calmingly.

"Maybe your right. But still he is just a human being like all of us. He's just a handsome guy that happens to be the lead in a Broadway show." I said not really understanding the situation.

"Well I think he likes you, did you see how he looks at you during the show? Every moment that he has the chance, he wants to look at you!"

Ofcourse I saw the way he looked at me during the show it made me blush the whole time. How could I notice it. But it's weird, why was he looking at me?

The lights dimmed and the show began the 2nd act. This act was much more intense than the first one. Backstage Romance was amazing. It didn't take long or my mouth was open again. How did they do this? The choreography, the singing everything was mindblowing. When they got to Chandelier I had to laugh. It was such a good song! And then the transition to Roxanne was incredible. Aaron was incredible. I had tears in my eyes. His voice, his acting, everything was on point. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him during the rest of the 2nd act. Melissa sometimes looked at me and smiled. But I just met the guy this morning. How could all these feelings already be there? I'm sure it was just a crush. Nothing to be scared or worried about.

The 2nd act past by way too fast. Satine died and it was time for the last time 'Come what may'. I cried my eyes out, it was so beautiful. All the feelings that the cast brought into the musical. This was the best musical I had ever seen!

During the encore number everyone stood up and clapped along the music. Melissa and I did the same thing. It was amazing! The connection with the cast when you're in can can is incredible. Next were the bows and the audience went wild. When it was time for Aaron to bow I saw him looking at me. He smiled and I smiled back and I cheered for him. Before walking off stage he said something to me. He asked me to stay a little bit longer and to not go away immediately. He walked away looked a last time at me and smirked.

When everyone stood up to go, I looked at Melissa.

"Did you hear what Aaron said to me?" I asked her. "Why would he ask something like that? Should we really wait?"

"Yes I heard what he said and I think we have to wait. He asked specifically." Melissa said.

Well Lis was right ofcourse we had to wait. I was dying to know why he asked me to stay.

A few minutes later an usher came our way.

"Are you Sophie?" He asked me.

ok so I'm back again (I'm the anon who sent in that ask about ACOTAR and beach read) and you read once upon a broken heart??? omg I loved that book. I've still not read the second one though (bc a friend gave me the biggest spoiler and now I'm processing all the tragedy things). I heard the new book's coming out this year.

i have to read something with romance in it to get interested in it, because I'm not really into anything other than that, unless it's a really really really good book. other than that, my favorite genre would either be a) dark romance or b) fantasy. said friend got me into fantasy books last year, can't get them out of my head now. I've read some of sarah j maas's books, then the cruel prince series (haven't finished), once upon a broken heart, and the invisible life of addie larue.

then there's dark romance books. I've not actually read a lot, but one of the most memorable ones would be the cat and mouse duet ('haunting adeline' and 'hunting adeline'). it's VERY controversial, I really wouldn't recommend u to read it unless you're really into stalker romance. also read trigger warnings before.

my favorite trope? hmm, that's a hard question. honestly, I'd read anything that has a good plot and is interesting. but I noticed I mostly gravitate towards e2l and opposites attract (for some reason)

I read a LOT of angst. i love a good book that can make me cry.

my most anticipated-not-read-yet books? the shatter me series. aaron warner is gonna kill me when i start the series, all of my friends who've read the books say that he is the hottest book bf ever, so that's something I'm mentally preparing myself for. I have so many books on my tbr that I also cannot read the twisted series and also the good girl's guide to murder series.

and at last but not least, my favorite book? I've read so many good books this past year... I have several. so if you're talking about fantasy/magic it'd be the invisible life of addie larue, and rom-com/e2l would be better than the movies. you should read both of these books!!!

Hello! Sorry this has taken a second to answer - I went to Dublin for the weekend :) And again, I love this ask so thanks for coming back!! I've put all my thoughts below the cut.

Gah, I loved Once Upon a Broken Heart. I have heard that people thought the second one was sad ..? so I'm kind of dreading it. Another reason to wait for the third to come out so I can hopefully just power through and get to the (hopefully) happy ending. Just so hard to wait!! I want to know what happens now!!!

I get the need to have romance in a book. I read quite a range of genres but I always fly through romance books. I also love fantasy books - take me away from this horrid world please! But I've not really read any dark romance books. Part of me kind of likes the idea but I'm also not sure it's for me. Guess that's the perk of there being so many different books everyone can pick from.

E2L is a classic!! Alllll the angst. I want the main characters fighting and being forced to be around each other, trying to deny their feelings before they're making out and loving each other. YES!

Ooh I have the shatter me series on my shelf but haven't read either. I also want to read Icebreaker (which I haven't bought yet) and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow. I haven't got the twisted series on my tbr but I've heard good things about it.

Yes I've read Invisible Life Addie LaRue and I loved it tooooo. I bought a special addition of the hardback just because. I kind of love Luc in some twisted way ... (which is why I think part of me would enjoy dark romance lol). Such a good book though, definitely one of my favourites too. I also love Six of Crows. If you've not read that you'd possibly enjoy.

What I hate in a character? I really hate when people do something I'd never do. Sometimes I can understand when a character does the opposite of what I want them to do, but I hate when they do something I think no one would ever do - struggling to think of examples, but maybe just taking back a guy who's been absolutely crap, or sacking off someone who's only ever been nice. I'm sure there's loads of things I hate, but can't think of anything else now. Tbh I think I struggle more with bad writing over bad characters - though there's probably not much difference between the two.

Gosh, all the tough questions. Character that owns my heart? You've never read Project Hail Mary but there's a character in that called Rocky, who honestly, I'd die for. I'd also die for every character in The House in the Cerulean Sea - again another banger if you've not read, it's not romantic but it's really soft and sweet.

Book bf. This has just come to me from nowhere, but Howl, from Howls Moving Castle. He is essentially like the film Howl if you've ever seen it. But more Welsh. And he's so chaotic and would probably drive me insane with his mess and antics but I'd love him all the same. Who's your book bf?

I'm not going to lie, I'm not a fan of Colleen Hoover. I've read and didn't actually mind Reminder of Him and It Ends With Us. But I recently read Verity and sorry if you enjoyed it but I really don't understand why people like it, I thought it was awful. I still kind of want to read It starts With Us. Have you read any of her books?

Favourite author atm is possibly Emily Henry, have you read any of her books? The first series I ever read was almost definitely Harry Potter, I remember queueing up at midnight to buy the books. I read quite a few series though, mainly because most fantasy books seem to be series. Are you a fan of series or do you prefer stand alone books?

Hi! I hope you had a good week this week! How was your 4th of July? I hope it was good. I got to see a few fireworks from my window haha. Also yes it's been very hot here..ugh. I think I still prefer that over cold weather but it never gets really cold here either and I can't really handle the cold. Haha wow..cuz Aaron is coming back? I totally thought of you when I found that out. But I guess how common is it for actors to come back to a show? He must love it a lot and his El Tango Roxanne is amazing! I know he won a Tony for it haha and I don't really remember people making a big deal like with Jonathan Groff. I did see it and enjoy it on tour but it would be fun to see him in the role! It's also just a fun show to see and I do love shows like that so I'm glad you enjoyed Pretty Woman as well. Wasn't the tour cast with Adam Pascal from Rent? I remember debating seeing it cuz of him lol. I do know what you mean..and I'm a little jealous you have some shows lined up. I'm not sure if I will see Wicked yet..but also Mrs Doubtfire is touring here with Rob McClure from the original role on Broadway and I guess I'm a fan of his but idk if I will see it but it would be cool to stage door. Aww how sweet that he did that for your friend! Oh I've heard of Jasper in Dead land but didn't know too much about it. It always seemed like a cool show. The only story I have is that I went to one of Jeremy's concerts and me and my sister actually saw him walk out. It wasn't like a stagedoor so he wasn't meeting people but my sister shouted that he was so good or we love you or something like that and he looked back and said thanks I think. About 5 to 10 minutes later..people started chasing him since he was just walking on foot somewhere lol. But it was so crazy and it was like my peak Newsies and SMASH Jeremy obsession in like 2018. I agree about the West End stuff..I think it's similar with Back to the Future? You'll have to let me know how it is when you see it on tour. But with Cabaret, one of the things is that Sally isn't supposed to or has to be a good singer so I'm not sure if that has to do with it. It could just be that people aren't that familiar with the show. Omg wow thanks for the video. I can't even guess how his voice would sound. I will definitely watch the video later and tell you what I think. Well they did it with that movie Boyhood by the same director so it could just be something the director does and things were fine in that movie but it also didn't really add to the movie..idk. like that's the only thing people remember about that movie now. hi hi friend!! it was pretty hot last week but it has cooled down slightly here (thank goodness). i am also a summer person but am not the biggest fan of the heat — but gladly welcome summer (and the heat, and wildfire smoke and asthma, etc) over winters here.

haha aaron is part of why i'm going, but i also just really want to see stereophonic & the notebook and more importantly, some friends that i haven't seen in ages! three of my closest friends are on the east coast (one in new york, one in boston, and one in philly) so it'll be a little reunion. it's not super common but i also wouldn't say it's uncommon — thinking of drew gehling and his many, many returns to the brooks atkinson for waitress back in the day. since we last talked, i've solidified my plans a bit more — seeing moulin rouge on thursday, the notebook on friday, once upon a mattress for the saturday matinee, moulin rouge for the saturday evening show, and then on sunday i'll be seeing stereophonic for the matinee and hadestown for the evening. i must be a little crazy for doing a three hour play, then a quick dinner break, then another musical, but at least i roped one of my best friends into doing that whole sequence with me!

and yes! tour cast with adam pascal! you should definitely see wicked if you get the chance; it'll be fun — especially with the movie coming out soon! i'm seeing it in november with my mom, and am briefly entertaining the idea of doing an LA trip in january (might see it in LA then too — not the reason i'd be going down to LA, just is the only show that would be there the days i'm thinking of going to LA). i saw the pre-broadway tryout of mrs. doubtfire when it was here in seattle, and i didn't particularly love it, but i'm curious to see what your thoughts are if you decide to see it! i'm so bummed on your behalf that you missed company :( i hope you get to see something soon! do you see shows regionally too? have you ever seen a show at the sacramento music circus? if you're near there at all? i've heard they do really good productions!! one of my friends lives down there and just saw spongebob there! i really want to see something there someday (and my aunt doesn't live too far from SMC) but the idea of going to california in the summer is not the most appealing thought!

It does!!! There's no one else who can write anything remotely similar to hers and I think that is so incredible!!! We see so many songs that are so similar in so many different way nowadays everywhere, but there isn't really any that can be mistaken for hers. She's such a genius, a whole genre, so unique!!

Having siblings can be a challenge, but it's also so wonderful!

IT’LL BE YOUR FIRST?? omg you are going to have the BEST TIME!!!! Taylor has gone above and beyond with the eras tour and I’m so excited you’ll get to see it for your first Taylor show! I love that you’ll get to see her go through the eras (well except debut but we aren’t gonna talk about that one 🙃) rather than just having highlights of certain songs on a tour that’s focused on an album.

our showing isn’t until 7:30 PDT but I’m super excited bc we’re all gonna get ready together! I actually ended up driving about 4 hours to see the movie with my friends (I recently moved for my job and used to live like 20 minutes away from them lol) so I’m tired but pumped at the same time!

It is but I actually went from a big city to a more rural area back in August! I lived south of Portland for the last 7 years but moved back to the town my family lives in because I got a better job than what I had previously. I will say one perk about the small town is that it has the BEST taco truck ever so I can’t complain much! Yeah being back in the city I used to be in has been wild because I’ve forgotten how busy it gets and how bad traffic can be!

SAME! I recently saw where someone has been making the twilight saga but with muppets and let me tell you, it was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time!! Long Live is such a sweet song and I legit cried when Taylor played it at my eras tour show!

yes!!! Taylor has cultivated her sound over the years and turned it into something that is so uniquely her! She also has been working with a lot of the same people over the years so it just makes it all sound so much more consistent (like Jack, Liz Rose and more recently Aaron Dessner)!

It can be! Sometimes it’s wild because my older brother and I can get mistaken for a couple (even though he’s very openly gay) and it’s always so funny when people realize we’re siblings! Mind you this happened recently too at our favourite taco truck 😂😂

she’s the absolute sweetest girl in the whole world and I’m so lucky to be her mom! Oh let me tell you, Kayla cannot be left alone around food sometimes. Once I was eating chicken nuggets and she straight up took one from my plate when I wasn’t paying attention. She has also stolen fries out of my hand when I wasn’t looking. The joys of having a rescue who was a street dog 😂 Winnie is much more well behaved in that sense but she’s definitely a talker! She’s half Siamese and loves to just talk at anyone who’ll listen to her!

I love Bea! She has this amazing sound and I really love her voice (I’m also just a damn sucker for anything that sounds like her music)! Plus she’s someone that Taylor likes as well, since she opened for the eras tour for like 12 shows, and taylor dedicated our song to Bea at her first opening show!

I LOVE GUTS SO MUCH LIKE ITS UNREAL!!!! I love sour but I feel like you could really feel the teenage angst in guts (which is my favvvvvvvv). I’m such a sucker for any music that sounds remotely like paramore - which Olivia does sound like!

but to answer your second question, love~love came out during my summer break so it’s stuck with me lol. i love it too much even though, like all seasons, its pretty sucky... i remembered more of season 2 of mcd, i had come in like the middle of s1? and i barely remember s3 haha! so i don’t really have a favorite, it’s more scenes that i like :)

i made changes for fun mostly, some made more sense and some characters had potential and i wanted to explore it on my own? idk, i had problems and went “i can do better than this >:” after seeing a bunch of problems and started writing lol

You and the BAU had gone to the bar for a karaoke night the weekend following a recent case. While the case had not been particularly hard, it had taken longer than others, so you were all glad to be back home. After a few drinks and a few group songs everyone was starting to slow down and others in the bar had started singing solo songs. Garcia knew you were a bit of a singer so she tried to encourage you.

“You should get up there and sing something, pumpkin!”

“Yeah, no, I don’t think so babe, but thanks” you said, swirling the scotch in your glass.

“I heard you’re a pretty good singer, y/n, I’d love to hear you!” Spencer exclaimed, quite a few drinks ahead of you, and very excited at the idea of learning one of his teammates’ secret talents.

You looked over at Hotch, who was preoccupied with his phone, probably texting the new girl he had been seeing.

You and Hotch had been dating up until about a month ago, when you decided it would probably be best for the sake of the team if you kept your relationship professional. No one had known about your short trist other than Emily, who had seen some steamy texts one day looking over your shoulder at your desk. She had promised to keep a secret, and she was the only one on the whole team you actually thought could do that. Besides, it was nice to have at least one person to talk to about it, since you didn’t really have friends outside the BAU. However, soon after you and Hotch ended things, you decided you hated it and wanted him back, but you thought he would never start things up again. You didn’t want to ruin whatever new relationship he had going, but you thought tonight might be the perfect chance to tell him how you felt in a more subtle way. After a few moments’ contemplation, you turned to Garcia:

“You know what? I will sing something. It sounds fun” you said, setting your glass down with purpose and walking up to the DJ.

“Yay!! Go y/n!” Garcia yelled, clapping as you whispered your song choice to the DJ and took the stage.

Once you got up on the stage, Hotch finally looked up from his phone when Morgan forcefully nudged him. He allowed himself to show a small smile at your bravery.

“This one goes out to the one that got away,” you said as the music started, trying not to make direct eye contact with Hotch, but you looked at him long enough to see him take a deep breath at your words. You heard a few cheers from the rest of the team as you got ready to start singing. As you got to the chorus, your plans to keep from looking at Hotch started to fail.

You continued to sing, and keep eye contact with Hotch, as he put his phone in his jacket pocket and crossed his arms, smirking.

By the time you finished the song, you were so focused on Hotch that you didn’t register the cheering and excitement coming from the rest of the team. You hopped off the stage and walked right to Hotch. The others started to understand what was happening, and simply stared in silence.

“Did you like it?” You said, after what felt like an eternity of silence and staring.

“It was quite the show” Hotch replied, uncrossing his arms and moving closer to you.

You two stared at each other for another eternity, waiting for the other to break.

“What if we got out of here?” Hotch finally said, almost so quiet you couldn’t hear.

“What about your new friend?” you quipped, glancing at the phone in his jacket pocket.

“She’s not you.”

Suddenly very aware that you were being watched, you turned to the rest of the team, who quickly began talking to each other as if they had no idea what was going on.

Soon you felt Hotch’s large hand lightly grip your chin and pull your head back around.

“Don’t worry about them.”

Hotch brushed his thumb over your bottom lip before retracting his hand, holding it out.

“Let me take you home.”

Any other man on the planet saying that phrase to you would have received a scoff and the pleasure of watching you walk away, but you could see in Hotch’s eyes that he really wanted to be with you again, whatever happened after that moment. And you desperately wanted to touch him again.

Taking his hand, you followed as he led you out of the bar, unaware of the chaotic conversation ensuing among your friends behind you. Ever the gentleman, Aaron didn’t let go of your hand until you had reached the passenger door of his car, but his gentlemanly exterior quickly succumbed to his need, and he pushed you back against the car. The drive home was in reality only a few minutes, but it felt like hours anticipating what was to come. Aaron kept his hand firmly on your thigh the entire way, as if he were afraid you would float away if he let go. Finally you reached your apartment building, and took the elevator up to your floor. The ride was equally as silent as the car had been, but the tension was becoming so much it could snap at any moment.

The second you entered your apartment Hotch pushed you back against the door, engulfing you again, this time not intending to let you go. He kissed you, roughly and sloppily and you didn’t care. sometimes it’s hard to face reality...even though you might get mad at me.

It’s ironic sometimes.

The twists and turns of life and the paths it puts you down. Sometimes you believed in fate but right now it only felt like a pain in the ass. Whoever was controlling your strings you hoped they would just give you a break, but no. There was always something more.

Last night, you had a dream. There was a memory within the dream. You and Spencer were cuddling on the couch watching a movie and his fingers were combing through your hair. You grabbed your bag from Hotch and told him you needed to go outside for a minute. He asked you if you wanted him to go with you but you needed to be alone. You wanted to be by yourself to fight these tears. You couldn’t cry in front of him.

He gave you his coat which was much too big but still appreciated.

Once you were outside you took your phone out to check your face. Your nose was red but the few tears hadn’t ruined anything. You were fine. You were going to be okay. Everything was alright.

He watched as you walked into the club and back out again with Hotch. Before you went in his car though you walked over to Spencer and put the necklace into his hand. Silently you walked over to Hotch and got in the passenger seat.

Spencer didn’t know what to do.

This was your necklace. He gave it to you. It was yours to keep. Yours to wear, cherish, and hold. Why would you give it back? It was supposed to make you happy and help you remember him. Instead it was in his hands unworn but the girl he had hurt. What was he supposed to do?

JJ found him outside but he said nothing to her the whole ride when he took her home. He was thinking about you. He was thinking about what you said. You were right.

When he got home he looked at the box of things you gave him. There were polaroid pictures of the two of you and he started shaking as he cried. What had he done? How could he have been so selfish?

Truth was he did like JJ, and he had been hiding you. He had been treating you unfairly. He had been a jerk and he had done every single thing you said he did.

I'm biased because I love Steve and I generally don't mind comic relief, I think they are more useful than people think. That being said, yes it did feel a bit... useless? The part with Lancelot was still very cool anyway so good on that. Deya was glorious. I think we all kinda knew Callista was going to become the first trollhunter 😅 But she has such a strong and unique personality, and a background that makes sense for her to acquire a new identity as the first defender of the two worlds. The luck of this kid, my world 😞 Besides this, man that was heartwrenching, loved it even thought it hurt a lot. And the best part is that, nothing was out of character, it all made perfect sense. Jim is and remains an altruistic person, even to a fault, who would and will think about others before himself, even if that means putting himself into such danger. I think him turning back into a human will generate a bit of controversy through the fandom, which I can understand, but personally I think it makes sense how they did it IN THIS WAY. Especially since he is now without amulet, after such a strong experience, in need to reshape himself... is this why in the game he doesn't have a troll form? NOW I'M WAITING FOR THE GAME EVEN MORE!!! 😍😍😍

The bonds. The bonds, freaking, how refreshing they were? Not only we didn't get a useless triangle with Jiaire and Douxie, him and Claire had a genuine friendship and he even taught her magic! And Archie was MAGNIFICENT?? 😭😭 Fully supportive, so close to Douxie, he clearly loves him dearly and wants only the best for him I LOVE THIS FAMILIAR SO MUCH 😍😍😍

And then Merlin... Wizards actually managed to make me feel sorry for him. And I would like to applaude the season for not making him fully good, like just because it was proved he cares about others doesn't mean he is not the known jerk that thinks about "the bigger picture" first before actual lives. Toby said it that nobody likes him (I know it was a joke but there is a bit of truth for me), Claire clearly despised him, even Douxie said it at the end that he wasn't perfect. But I think half his entire kind of redemption was right into his last words. He said his greatest accomplishment was saving Douxie. The greatest magician of all times said he did better saving a "nobody" than stuff like helping prevent the Eternal Night, or saving Camelot. I think he realized there the real bigger picture, and that actually made it hard for me to watch him pass. I really thought if he was ever going to die in the show, I would've been ecstatic 😅 But no, it felt like he died right when he was understanding. And that hurt... dang it TOA crew, playing with my heart!

But what hurt the most was just how much Merlin meant to Douxie. He was everything. His master. His friend. His father even. Not the perfect one, but one that made him who he is. He gave him a purpose, a path to follow, and a reason to be. And at the end he was someone who was even glad to see Douxie making choices different from his, like he was happy to see him taking a different path... I cried okay 😢

I know a lot of people were hoping and got rewarded to see Zoe involved, me included 😂 Didn't really explain much of the relationship between her and Doux, maybe another time? Still nice to see her pink hair again 💕💕💕

If any of you heard some kind of strong explosion coming from the general direction of Italy... that was me after seeing Krel again 😅😅 I am disappointed that he was barely involved (although him tinkering with Akiridion tech and magic was DOPE LET HIM DO MORE OF THAT) but apparently there's a movie coming next year so I'm guessing that one will show the arc Diego told us about?... I WANNA SEE MY LITTLE BOY IN ACTION AGAIN 💙💙💙💙

Also too bad Toby also didn't have that much of a role, hopefully they will fix that in the next installation 👍

I did like the Arcane Order, they all have cool as heck powers and amazing designs. With that being said, it felt like there's still stuff to discover? I freaked out for a month because of Skreal since he looked so much like an Akiridion, but Krel didn't acknowledge that? Is it just a coincidence? It didn't help the fact that they even have a similar name 😅 Also fire pal there had a mask... maybe it's just me but in my opinion masks should always be there because of a reveal. And they seemed pretty unknown. I loved these villains, they are cool as HECK and Skreal cracked me up 🤣 It just feels like we still don't know much about them

Also Nari is absolutely adorable and cute and PRECIOUS and I'm happy she's with Douxie and has that super cute disguise omg so freaking CUTE 💚💚💚
