Yesterday when it got dark it started snowing, there has been a little snow on the ground for a week but this time it kept snowing and snowing! So I sneaked into a bag that will protect me from too much water to go on a snow adventure to see how much snow there was!

Some of the snow was cleared and standing here I can only just see over the snow. When I am in a hole dug to the floor you can see the snow here is almost one tiny dinosaur high

The snow was still falling and some snowflakes got caught in my jumper!

On my journey I went through many trees and it was tricky to find the paths in the park, but a lamppost helps me find the way

Many plants and animals live here, I saw some types of berries, I think rose hips and holly berries. There were many blackbirds flying around here, but they were harder to spot in the trees

I also heard a crow friend calling very loud and dancing around in the snow!

#non mdzs #The real mood of this comic is:#AKA: you are in charge of designing a character but have only been given personality as a reference.#This was technically for a game dev meeting and I am part of a team rather than a contractor hired on.#But hey the anxiety going into this was still crazy high. I was playing a risky gambit.#Part two of this comic is me putting all those clowns on a powerpoint and presenting them in front of a few people.#Pointing at them and saying “Okay which clown do you like best? How can we sex up this clown more?”#I think I may be giving the impression that I’m more into clowns than I actually am. It just fit with the character okay!#I had to consult the REAL down-for-clowners for tips. Photos exchanged in the dark alleys of a discord server.#A hooded figure shakes their head at the first photo. Slowly nods as I add puffy sleeves. Nods furiously as I drop the neckline.#This clown still needs to marinate a bit more before I’m ready to present them to the wider world.#So stay tuned! #the owl house #toh #luz noceda #willow park #gus porter #hunter toh #(he's there too! just very small. let me have this)#i had a lot of fun trying to figure out Hyacinth and Azura! they were unfamiliar so it was a challenge #hyacinth especially doesn't have a face I'd normally draw but i ended up really enjoying getting out of my comfort zone for him #i hope all the details translated well and that i interpreted aspects of their designs correctly?#i ended up accidentally giving Azura a slightly hooked nose bc i for some reason thought she had one? also struggled w/ her mouth a tad #but i decided to keep it in bc it made her face more unique lol. i already draw amity with a hooked nose so it kind of makes sense #you could say it's from alador though (which was also how i justified the way i drew her mouth since i normally draw Luz's differently-#-just imagine she got it from Camila)#also i recognize thst Hyacinth's cane arm is wonky?? really sorry about that! he was leaning on it a certain way in the ref photo #and i tried to replicate that but. eh #It's been a weird difficult time art wise recently #mainly cause of the hiatus I had to take cause of exams that I'm still recovering from.#Probably gonna end up taking another art/posting break (though we'll see how that all plays out??)#it's been a weird few weeks but not bad. Ok so I had another dream about joker out and I wanted to share it, this won’t be a regular thing I just thought it was a cool dream

So kris and Bojan had a another Damon photoshoot together and like kris had really cool wings on and like a white button up shirt that was like only done up halfway and trousers that were like really fucking tight in the ass but like looser at the bottom that were also white and the pictures of him with the wings on on he was alone and there were some with out them alone too, like in a tree for some reason and just crouching in a field

then Bojan had some pictures alone where he was in the same thing but all black and no wings but he had like a crown and some of the pictures he was lying down in grass like some of the other Damon ones

^like these ones just the fact he’s lying down is the similarity

and others he was like leaning on brick walls outside looking hot as fuck and kind of like the guys at the start of west side story

Then in the ones together they both had crowns on and in the same black and white clothes and they had some lying in the grass together and in one of them kris had Bojan against the wall but he was kind of beside him rather than like it looking like they were about to kiss or something

and kris posted them and THE FUCKING CAPTION said something about like “my love” or “love of my life” or something equally as gay and then tumblr just exploded, everyone lost their collective shit

The Devonian trilobite Crotalocephalina gibba.

Made as a more or less successful exercise to emulate the style of Junnn11, the person who illustrated many of the wikipedia articles on Cambrian arthropods and Paleozoic euchelicerates (and whose art I happen to like very much).

#Having a great time btw I've just been chased across a near sea of miasma by stal riders and more! 10/10 nearly died in a high speed chase #Made it out relatively unscathed which is truly amazing lmao #Spoilers ahead: I have had the funniest time doing the great plateau quest chain. Once I sucked it up and made nice with the creepy statue.#He's(?) been alright. Fair trader. Good deals. I've mostly been terrorising kohga in between absolutely failing to craft working vehicles X #His new boss fights are so much easier than the first one lol. Less fun I'll admit but the music is groovy. You can probably make a #Machine and try and dog fight him but with few exceptions the turning circles are decrepit so I just stuck to mild dodging and shooting him #And running over to hit him some more. Kinda bland for a boss fight I'll say. Could have done with a lot more pizazz. It's kohga come on.#Anyway I do feel kinda bad because apparently he's been stuck down there for however many months/years and I AM kinda cheating with the arm #After the first fight he fled to the gerudo mine and the steward very nicely showed me how to get there but never underestimate #My procrastination because I'd already found it by just exploring so I just teleported. In game it must have been terrifying lmao #Racing across an endless void filled only by the light of your rapidly running out of battery glider and the red glow of the gloom away fro #The apparently immortal ancient warrior who beat you up and tossed you down there and there's no sign of perusal so you're probably safe #But you get there and he's already sitting there poking some bananas having wiped out your goons and plundered your supplies.#Like sorry man but the arm comes with the hero territory I can't exactly take it off.#Maybe if you stopped terrorising the people purah would let you have one of her long distance teleportation slates. Baby boy brother birthday photos from last year that I just realized I never uploaded!

#cats #also hopefully it's not weird to still post photos of George (the brown cat) even after his death a little while ago. I just have so many #beautiful old pictures of him that I still love but just never had the time to sort through or upload (my cat photos folder on my #computer had like 450 pictures in it or something lol... SO many). I feel like it's kind of just honoring or appreciating him #and not actually strange or anything. like what am I supposed to do. delete them?? I want to share them still because he is beautiful and #perfect ! idk. aNYWAY. Also this is their 2022 birthday when they turned 14 years old. (even though I think when I posted #their 2021 bday I might have said they were 14 then too. I was off by a year lol). 2023 when they turned 15 I unfortunately #was feeling kind of sick at the time and didn't really have the energy to do the decorations like I usually do. So they just got a few #treats and stuff. But I didn't know that would be george's last birthday lol. :/#They also do not really know or care though. they're cats who cannot process it or know the concept of birthdays so. eh #I still have no idea how these got lost on the computer though. Discovered that two of the femme books I'd been wanting for a while (that JUST arrived) were written by femmes who actually live in my state. Is. #archivist talk #also very glad i am putting a pause on book purchasing for fixing the subaru budget reasons #because since i posted those photos of my current collection for example #more than a dozen books have come in #and i'm still waiting on a couple more arrivals #a few of them are black lesbian anthologies i've had my eye on for quite a while so i'm really excited EEEEEEE #if i had $300-ish to spare i think i could probably clear out the niche on my book list that is black/southern usa/sapphic #i think wrapping up the rest of the femme collection might take $400-ish but god i am willing #the butch collection .... is gonna be a real doozy for a fat minute i need to find somewhere that even has copies of certain books to sell #which will also be hard because in my two years of looking i am still looking for books that i have never seen pop up #worst comes to worst i'm going to scout every bookstore in my area #maybe go through the whole state if i'm feeling plucky #and then definitely go to chicago because i love chicago and miss their bookstores #also i have found a few really good finds in chicago bookstores before so i hope my luck holds
