2. AOKO

Wow. I realised just how little brain space I dedicate to her... but she's also so silly. I love her so much. She's a great character to pair up with Kaito (for any relationships, I love when they're having fun together.) She doesn't need more suffering <3

I love sm how in MK1412 they added extra scenes of the Ekoda gang! And Aoko looks so cute in it! (everyone else? ... it varies)

Now this is a hella hot take but I personally think KaiAo is much more interesting than ShinRan (for me). And fun too, because I've always been drawn to fun and teasing dynamics like these over the more romantic ones (if you get what I mean by more romantic). KaiAo and Shinran both are such wonderful couples though. *Bangs fists on table* THEY'RE BOTH SO UNBEARABLE CUTEEE

Someone told me I have very similar vibes to Aoko and I've been reevaluating myself XDD. No but I can see it. I think we have a similar energy (in my brain at least, I'm much more tired when I go out) and even preferred fashion.

Would give her a kiss anytime. Definitely. Let's go out on a picnic and have a fun hangout. We would be good friends.

3. SHINICHI/CONAN

Drawing was inspired by that scene where Conan gets suspicious of Hanzawa-san (from The Culprit Hanzawa, a spinoff of dcmk.)

Ok, so the thing is, I have a very strange relationship with him.

He's so silly, right? He so fun, he's adorable, so caring and well meaning, but I'm scared of him. I wouldn't want to meet him. I'm terrified even though he's so nice 😭. So I'd rather observe from a distance (hence the drawing ^ but I'd definitely set off his senses a lot.)

(What does it say about me that I'm scared of Shin/Cone but not Kaito? I'm working on overcoming my fear of Conan/Shin, I promise *on my hands and knees* I REALLY AM)

(My irl friend understands why I'm so terrified, I've explained the crazy stunts he's done and his very illegal spy equipment to them... they actually got a nightmare about Conan that night. He's such a law breaking little gremlin (affectionate)) So...no kisses for you, detective... only because I'm too intimidated 😭 But I'll gladly make content dedicated to you and fawn over you <3

If it's not already obvious, Kai > Shin/Cone for me. But he's definitely a close second.

Shin's/Cone's aesthetic? So peak. His detective work and general vibes with the series is so banging. That clean formal attire - I love wearing more formal stuff out. Being judged for it? At this point I don't really care hahaha. His mismatching outfits are so endearing, but I don't really vibe with them.

Canon is kinda frustrating for me. Well, as usual, I love to pick out the pieces I love and keep them dear to my heart. Ugh I want more identity issues and character relationship focuses. And more Shinran, this is literally ridiculous for slowburn lol.

ok..... this is very specific but it shows up so often. whenever sewis is a side pairing and their job is to be Married Older Couple Who Gives You Advice and it's usually, seb talks one half of the ship, lewis talks to the other half. and they're just..... they sound like the same person. they function as therapists. their role is to be two halves of the same person with only superficial surface level differences (sebastian is tending to the bees, while lewis is a fashion designer or something). they read like declawed and defanged versions of themselves, I don't get the appeal of it personally. it's giving Mary Sue...

oh I also hate the trope "characters reading fanfiction about themselves" meta haha get it... it's not so prevalent in f1 but it is in certain circles and I just haaaaaate it, hate the fourth wall breaking. they're also versions of the same fic, if you've read one you've read them all. Character A is like omg can you believe they write fanfic about us??? that's sooo weird >.< and then reads it and then has Realizations about character B. boring. predictable.

Oh I'm so sad after your fic. Its amazing, what an idea to use Phil's eyes to explore Dorothy. And it makes me think of Dorothy at the funeral, and how upset she was at him for dying, she really did have so much love for him that I don't know she ever said to him. Your headcanon that Phil knows on some level that Dorothy is 'like him'is so interesting and heartbreaking, do you think he ever tried to talk to her when they were both adults?

But yeah!! I always get the feeling that they loved each other very much (Dorothy's speech at the funeral is the prime example here) but never really opened up about it. I have sooo many thoughts about their relationship in general!! We never find out the reason why Dorothy and Phil grew apart (because from the things she says about him, she seems to be almost exlcusively positive about Phil as a person — if a little less positive about his accomplishments). Looking at this through a queer lense, my personal headcanon is that Dorothy distanced herself from him because he's very openly queer, and from the sound of it, enthusiastically so — with full, loving support from his wife. Juxtapose this against Dorothy who likely never even allowed herself to entertain the idea that she might be queer as well, and you've got yourself a very complicated dynamic to begin with.

I absolutely think he would've tried, at least a couple of times, to connect with her by hinting at the fact that Dorothy might be queer as well. I think I mentioned this in a different post already but they have quite a large age gap between them (7 years if I'm right?) so Phil was about 10 or 11 when Dorothy married Stan and moved out. Which I'm guessing created quite a distance between the two of them already! It does seem logical for a person like Phil, who's so openly and happily queer, to want to connect to his older sister through their shared queer experience — and upon her dismissal, probably more than once, he might even have started to feel bad for her?

If he did confront her straight out (pun not intended) at some point, maybe that's what drove a wedge between them? As in: Dorothy doesn't resent him, but also can't quite bring herself to spend a lot of time around Phil?

We know waaaay too little about Phil for me to be able to make any sort of educated guess here, but he's a very interesting character to invent headcanons about in any case haha.

3. Who hogs the cover/ Who loves to cuddle?

Vera is the blanket thief. Goro is the cuddler.

For Goro, sharing the bed with Vera means sleeping on constant high alert. He’s never able to settle too deeply into sleep before he’s abruptly thrust out of the warm cocoon that is his blanket. It’s jarring and, to be honest, a little irritating to watch the one he loves transform from a thoughtful and unselfish person into a megalomaniac, drunk on her ability to hoard comforters. 

Now, Vera doesn’t know what she’s doing. How can she? She’s a deep sleeper and can sleep through a sand storm without so much as a twitch. So, instead of waking her, Goro will settle for wrapping his arms around her small frame and holding her so that they’re both sharing the same blanket and to prevent her from snatching it off of him.

8. Who sleeps in their underwear (or naked)/ Who sleeps in their pajamas?

Vera and Goro don’t sleep completely naked, but neither do they sleep fully clothed.

Vera sleeps in only a thin tank top and panties because they’re more comfortable to move around in and because she doesn’t feel constricted. Goro sleeps shirtless and wears pajama pants to bed with his hair down. Secretly, Goro loves it when she sleeps half-naked because it gives him an excuse to gently run his hand up and down her bare hip whenever he’s sitting up in bed reading a book, and she’s laid out beside him half-asleep. 

11. Who likes horror movies/ Who likes romance movies?

That’s a tricky question.

Vera’s not the type to watch romance movies because she finds them dramatic and ridiculous. Life is not a fairytale, and she’ll be damned if she wastes an hour of her life watching The Notebook. Even Goro has a mild dislike for romance movies because he simply does not have the patience for the main characters or the ridiculous plot. Horror movies are also not their speed, but Vera does have a soft spot for zombie movies...just to sit and criticize the survivors for their poor planning skills and looking like they just came out of the fashion magazine after a month in the woods. Oh, and if Goro were to pick out a Japanese horror movie, she would flat out refuse to watch it. Japanese horror is scary and gory and will keep her up at night.

14. Who kills the spiders?

Goro.

Vera has bad arachnophobia and will refuse to enter a room if there’s a spider on the wall. Goro doesn’t mind killing them for her, and he finds it a little endearing whenever she tugs at his arm near tears and begging him to kill it. He could be driving around the city running errands, and she would send him frantic texts about the spider in the bathroom, yelling at him to come home already so that she can use the bathroom in peace without the eight-legged freak staring at her.

19. Who loves to call the other one cute names?

Pet names aren’t their thing. Goro is a little too reserved to give her a nickname, and saying her full name is as close to a term of endearment as he can get because very few people know her full name. Vera doesn’t think nicknames like “babe” or “hun” really fit him, so, like Goro, she calls him by his first name. 

Sometimes in a moment of tenderness, Goro will refer to her as “dearest.”

23. Who asks who out on the first date?

Surprisingly, it was Goro who asked Vera out, and he was the one who pursued her romantically. What started as an innocent crush he felt towards the quiet nomad grew into something more profound, and it wasn’t until after she came back to save his life did he realize how he was beginning to feel more than attached to her.  They both kept their feelings to themselves because they weren’t too sure if such a relationship would even work out, but Goro was eager to try, and they began a subtle courtship that slowly bloomed into something wonderful.

24. Who is the talker/ Who is the listener?

Goro is the talker, and Vera is the listener. Crazy, right?

Goro may be reserved, but he doesn’t have the personality of an ice cube, and gameplay shows that he’s a passionate man who’s not afraid to say what’s on his mind. Vera is just as fiery, but she’s reticent and will only become more outspoken around friends and family. Whenever Goro is frustrated by something, like the food in Night City, he’ll go on a long rant in his native language about how everything tastes like plastic. Vera will just sit there swinging her skinny legs back and forth, patiently listening to him and waiting until he’s finished before calmly asking him if he’d like some of Mama Welle’s chili, to which he’ll grumpily reply, “Yes.” 

Oh, and bringing up Yorinobu is forbidden. Even saying his name will set Goro off on a two-hour tirade as to how dishonorable and traitorous Yorinobu is. Don’t get me wrong, they communicate daily and take turns listening to each other, but Goro is the talker.

27. Who takes a long shower/ Who sings in the shower?

Vera is the shower hog.

Her shower is a hair salon and the place where she’ll spend hours standing under the nozzle thinking about her life choices. That all came to a screeching halt when Goro became her roommate. While being a shower hog certainly isn`t criminal, it can be a big problem for the man living with her. Having been roommates with Jackie, Vera can understand Goro’s frustration when he has to remind her that occasionally he would like to shower and shave and wash his hair. Being a reasonable person, she is perfectly willing to let him have his share of shower time-as long as it doesn`t infringe on hers.

Vera can’t help that she’s greedy about her bathroom time, and she`ll be the first one to admit it. That`s because she spent the more significant part of her life living with the Welles family and sharing a bathroom with Jackie. Now there`s a bloody situation. Put a large mercenary street-kid and a tiny nomad sharing one bathroom, and you`ve got the perfect scene for a murder. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times those two fools nearly disowned each other because one of them used up all the hot water in the shower.

Each morning Vera would quietly sneak out of the room she shared with Jackie and tiptoe to the bathroom toting her little purple bucket full of vital shower supplies praying that he wouldn’t get up and decide to take a piss while she washed her hair. So, yeah, Vera is the shower hog, but after a long discussion about conserving water, she and Goro both agreed to start taking showers together. Everybody wins.

Also, there is no singing in the shower. Both Vera and Goro loathe singing in the shower. A shower is a place of silent tranquility and relaxation. There is no fucking singing.

Ngl I don't personally ship Stu and Billy together cause canonically they are meant to be straight and I'm not the sharing type, but THIS STORY IS AMAZING. I'm a sucker for slow burn romances and I'm lowkey picky when it comes to fics sooo this is the first one in a LONG TIME that I've been so excited about.

I would rather lose A WHOLE LIMB than let anything happen to Seth or Dewey 😭 You don't present Stu as some innocent guy who just killed for Billy, no, you show that he was gonna kill REGARDLESS of Billy's influence and it's so refreshing cause it was hinted Stu always was messed up in the film. I can't help but cringe everytime someone tries to argue that Stu was in love with Billy and THAT was why he killed. I respect the opinion, but the dolls hanging in Stu's attic go completely against that theory. This man was ripping dolls apart bc he was imagining doing it to people 😭 and it was hidden in the attic where his parents probably never go.

Another thing too is that we don't ACTUALLY know what Stu's feelings for Billy were in the film. They were explicitly written to only be friends and tbh that's how I interpret them. However, they clearly weren't even true friends if Billy was ready to sell him out. Stu even implied that he was going to blame Billy if they got caught with the whole "peer pressure" thing. It's so nice to see an author be realistic about how selfish these two really are 👏

I love how our character is actually flawed and how you don't sugarcoat that Billy and Stu are terrible people. I love soft Billy and Stu, but I can only take so much fluff 🤣 The fact that you made me simp for MEEKS even tho I never simped for him before? An impressive feat.

Billy and Stu's dynamic is canonlically confusing, chaotic and dark. That I will 100% agree with.

Whether they were always friends or not is debatable. Did Billy know of Stu and knew he was a lil wacked and thought 'this guys perfect' or were they always two kind of screwed up individuals that were always friends and Stu kind of followed Billy around and shared common interests and Billy took a chance? I think they were friends bc even if Stu was used as a sell out in case shit went south; Billy would not trust just anyone with a murder plot.

I respectfully disagree with the straight thing only bc the writter himself eluded to basing both characters off of two closeted gay teen murderers even though he left the idea of them being together up to the audience to this day; he still was influenced by these two murderers when writting Billy and Stu. Neve confirmed she thought it was plausible they were. Matthew Lilard himself headcanons it joking or not the idea is there. And it was so homoerotic that Scary Movie made fun of it with Bobby and Ray. Randy himself called Billy a homorepressed mamas boy. That's way too many ppl and big names IMO noticing the homoerotic vibes included those involved for them to be 100% straight. Yes they were presented as straight but I think the only reason they weren't at least canonly bisexual was the same reason they cut out Amber and Tara being a couple; Censors wouldn't allow it and the movie would have tanked. One lesbian is the limit apparently... People were bitching about the gay couple in IT part 2 for fucksakes. I was in the theater with ppl booing and throwing popcorn at the screen and then cheering when the one died. It's sick but we are not as progressed as much as the chronically online internet world wants to think we are. Let alone in the 90s when Scream first came out. Wes had to limit the gore just to get the movie to pass let alone if they had two repressed teen boys together.

Y E AH FERB LET’S GO I LOVE FERB

Favorite thing about them: everything ok I just really, REALLY like Ferb. He’s such a great character. I love his sense of humor, I love how he is able to express himself in his own way, I love his bond with Phineas (and the entire family), I love his interactions with the other kids....and I also LOVE CHAOTIC FERB. AKA: I love when Ferb says or does things that are “chaotic,” such as him pulling out a mace in “Dude, We’re Getting the Band Back Together” or Vulcan death pinching Buford in “Raging Bully” 🤣. (On my blog, I usually use the phrase “chaotic Ferb” to refer to him teasing Isabella and Phineas about their feelings for each other, but that barely scratches the surface of him being chaotic in canon, LOL.) Also wingman Ferb is the best (but i’m gonna talk about that more in a second). He’s also a SUPER fun character to write, omg.

Least favorite thing about them: Sometimes Ferb’s character development is pushed to the wayside. I love ATSD, but in recent years I’ve come to realize Ferb doesn’t have nearly as much character development as Phineas in it. So I guess I wish he’d had more time to grow as an individual. The growth/character development he has is AMAZING, and I just wish there was more of it!

Favorite line: gOSH THIS IS HARD. Actually you know what, I’m gonna say a couple of my favorite lines from him in canon AND my favorite line I’ve written for him (because it’s my blog, things roll my way🤣)

Favorite lines in canon: “Well you could, it would just be ‘platyp.’” “Give up? Give up??” (And so on)

Favorite line I’ve written for him: “I suppose you didn’t need a skylight to see stars earlier....right, Phineas?” (This makes no sense out of context but it was VERY FUN TO WRITE, I LOVE FERB.)

Bonus line that wasn’t spoken by Ferb but to Ferb: “Not yet, Ferb.”

BrOTP: I’ve got two!!!!

BrOTP #1: Ferb and Phineas (obviously). I LOVE that their sibling relationship is 100% positive and friendly and supportive. So many times, sibling relationships in media are shown to be strained or cynical, but that is not the case for these two at all. They get along so well and clearly care SO MUCH about each other and each other’s interests. I love their relationship as siblings sooo so much, and I love that Phineas doesn’t push Ferb outside of his comfort zone. Liiiike like, aaah. I LOVE POSITIVE SIBLING RELATIONSHIPS IN MEDIA.

BrOTP #2: Ferb and Isabella!! I love, love, LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP SO MUCH. Ferb is comfortable enough around her to tease her, and she’s comfortable enough to talk to him about her feelings for Phineas (which speaks VOLUMES, because he’s Phineas’s brother. She trusts that Ferb will respect her privacy and not tell Phineas anything). “Wingman Ferb” is my favorite thing: the moment at the end of “Happy Birthday Isabella” where he steps aside to let she and Phineas spend time together is just, the sweetest ever. (I talk about that more in this post, but in short: he wants to help Isabella but also is thinking of Phineas in that moment. He wouldn’t have stepped aside to let them be alone together if he didn’t trust Isabella.) They’re going to be siblings one day and THAT MAKES ME REALLY HAPPY😭

OTP: u h m. I don’t have one😅.

NOTP: Ok aside from obvious nOTPS (I’m not gonna say em but...i suspect some of y’all will know what i mean😑) and F*rbnessa (which I talked about in this post), I reaaaally don’t like Ferb/Isabella as a ship. I would never judge anyone who ships it—it’s a personal opinion thing and there’s got to be good reasons to ship them, so ship away if you like them—but likeeeeeee......in the context of canon, I think Phineas is the better match for Isabella. First of all, I just like Ferb and Isabella’s friendship and view them as having a sibling-like dynamic. And, from what I’ve seen, some people only ship F*rbella because Ferb is more in tune with romance in general than Phineas and because Phineas is oblivious to Isabella’s affections for him. They want Isabella to be with someone who is more romantic, which I get but like.....her and Phineas’s dynamic is so interesting and compelling in of itself. It’s like they’re trying to punish Phineas for being a child who simply isn’t interested in romance. Phineas and Isabella are best friends, and he cares about her SO MUCH, even if he doesn’t consciously view her in a romantic light in the main show. Thus, shipping her with Ferb just because he’s more aware of romance leaves a bad taste in my mouth. (I talk about this at length in this post, if you’re interested in hearing more thoughts about it! And again, if you’re reading this and you ship F*rbella, no judgement! It just isn’t my cup of tea. And I would never leave hate on anyone’s F*rbella content: I just avoid it when I can and keep scrolling if I see it.)

Random headcanon: once Isabella and Phineas start dating, Ferb takes every opportunity to refer to Isabella as his “future sister-in-law” and lovingly teases them about how oblivious they were to one another’s feelings every so often. (Did I steal this from one of my fics? Yes. But that fic is basically just a bundle of my headcanons so IT COUNTS.) Also ok, here’s a non-phinabella themed headcanon: it’s canon that Ferb likes expressing himself through music, so when he’s a little older (or maybe once he starts college), he joins a community orchestra and plays whichever instruments they need. One week he might be on the viola, the next on the tuba, and the next he might be conducting because the director is out sick! His favorite orchestra memory is getting to play a solo on his harmonica during a holiday concert one year.

Unpopular opinion: i don’t think Ferb and Vanessa should have gotten together in AYA. In that episode, he’s just out of high school and she’s in her mid-twenties: they’re in completely different parts of their lives, and I think it’s strange that the crew made them canon in a show whose primary demographic is kids. (Plus i can’t watch the Phinabella kiss without being reminded that F*rbnessa is canon...couldn’t they have kissed WITHOUT ANYONE WATCHING THEM???? .....ok I’ll stop peppering this Ferb ask with Phinabella hot takes now😅)

her story starts between cuba and spain. her mother, carolina, fled from cuba and her father immigrated from spain with no friends or family and only with a few dollars. the two newcomers were matched by fate and just a year later they welcomed their daughter, alba.

two years later, a son completed the rivas family. they didn’t have much and often had to deal with homesickness and many times they considered moving to spain, but eventually they decided to stay.

it was a big change for both julián and carolina. he used to work as a lawyer back in spain and carolina had almost graduated from med school. now in the united states they both had to start from zero.

her mother traveled an hour from boca raton to palm spring every day where she worked cleaning those luxurious houses.  her father got his credentials to become a spanish teacher and taught in the local high school.

alba always knew she didn’t have much. she grew up going with her mom to those huge houses and from a young age she understood what wealth could buy. however, alba never envied those who had a lot more than her. in fact, her childhood best friend was the girl that lived in the house her mother cleaned. the two were inseparable.

ADOLESCENCE AND COLLEGE YEARS

alba excelled as a student. education was something her parents always deemed as important and so she made it her goal to make them proud. 

she earned a spot in a prestigious public high school. as a teenager, she was the model child. always listening to her parents, rarely giving them problems. she had an active social life, she went on a couple of dates and she was part of several groups.

these qualities eventually earned her a place at nyu. moving to new york was something she’d never considered. she liked florida, and her family were there but her parents convinced her that this would be a great opportunity and that she could comeback.

becoming a teacher was her ambition. she admired her father for doing it and she knew from a young age that she wanted to teach children. 

to make ends meet, she got a job as a waitress and she really didn’t have a social life as she worked and studied full time. there was no time for friendship and even less time for dating.

it was during one day at work that she met someone that changed her life. she met another student while she was working who asked her out but she refused, however, he came back and did the same thing every night until one day she finally accepted.

one date turned into two and then three until soon people couldn’t see one without the other. most people thought they wouldn’t last, their personalities and values were too different. he came from a wealthy family, the typical spoiled kid that was set to inherit his parents’ fortune someday, the one that always featured on page six with a different woman every night. meanwhile, alba came from a working-class family, daughter of immigrants who always had to work to get what she had in life. despite the skepticism, they proved everyone wrong.

at twenty-two, alba graduated with a degree in early childhood education and began working as a teacher.

ADULTHOOD

her relationship with this guy (i dont have a name for him lmao) was better than ever and after dating for three years, he proposed and alba said yes as she was convinced she’d found her other half.

however, not everything was perfect. his family didn’t like her and things only got worse after they got engaged. the couple married only a year later. they left new york and moved to florida where they bought one of those houses alba always had dreamed to have and the best part is that they were neighbors with her childhood best friend.

but all good things must come to an end, and soon her fairytale turned into a nightmare. the relationship with her in-laws was awful which eventually caused tension in their marriage. they began to fight more often and he started to spend more time at his office than at home. however, she was determined to make their marriage work, a love like theirs couldn’t end like this, she wouldn’t allow it.

tw cheating: one day, alba returned to their home early and what she saw was heartbreaking. there he was, in bed with none other but her childhood best friend. heartbroken, alba refused to accept any of his excuses and immediately filed for divorce, to the joy of her in-laws. end of tw.

after her divorce, alba moved to california where she started a year course at stanford. she planned to stay there but that when she received news from home.

tw illness: her father was very sick, and her parents had decided to move to islebury, rhode island. without anything holding her back, she packed up her stuff and moved here as well so she could help her mother with her dad. end of tw.

she’s been living here for three years now and works as a teacher at bright future.

personality

She has the ability to see the good in almost anyone or anything and tends to sympathize with even the most unfriendly person. She often hides the extreme depth of feelings from her, even from herself, until circumstances elicit a passionate response. 

She has a deep sense of idealism that comes from a strong personal sense of right and wrong. She sees the world as a place full of possibilities and potentials and is governed by her intuition. She is quite reserved and is not easily manipulated.

Ex-husband: They divorced two years ago, after alba found out he had been cheating on her with her best friend. they met while she was a student at NYU and were together for three years before getting engaged and married. he comes from a wealthy family, the typical perfect american family. their relationship was never approved by his parents. she hasn’t spoken to him since the divorce.

Best Friendish: Okay, so this is a tricky one because her actual best friend turned into Judas and slept with her husband, but maybe this person is the closest she has to a best friend. she trusts this person and since her divorce, this is the only person that she has been able to speak without limitations.

Bad influence: Alba has never been one to go to many parties or even to drink, but this person is the only one that can convince her to have a good time.

Co-workers/Parents: She works as a teacher at bright future, maybe your character works there or their kids go/went there.

Neighbor: self-explanatory

Unlikely friendship: The two have different personalities, but somehow, both have managed to get along and form a weird friendship.

Hook ups: She’s not really the relationship kind bc she’s always busy but once in a while she hooks up with people ghdghdhgd (open to everyone)

Sorry but it's visual appearance headcanon time. Darth Atrox is probably my only toon that really doesn't look like their in-game model. I've always headcanonned them as a little taller than average and of a willowy-but-tone build, as someone who was an underweight child and grew up to train in swordsmanship. They have an "aquiline" nose, prominent bone spurs and ridges, and a silvery, notably masculine voice. Some of this is because they’ve medically transitioned, having been on Star Wars HRT and had top surgery, but Bioware won't let me change characters' gender sooo...they're stuck with this form for now. (Btw, they're my oldest character! I made them about a half-year after SWTOR's launch and have since had like 5 iterations of them ldkjfs)

Atrox is fluent in spoken and written forms of the Sith language. Regarding it's written form, they've had to master High Sith (Kittât?) to be able to interpret ancient Sith relics and recordings. It took them many years to be able to near-flawlessly interpret the language, but their mother lorded over them until they rivaled her own ability.

They are very minimalist in their style and have retired a lot of piercings. Currently, they only wear silver jewelry in their septum, tongue, left upper helix and right daith and lower helix. That sounds like a lot for most people anyway, but I imagine it's in the lower range for Sith Purebloods lol.

Without getting too much into reasoning and backstory, Atrox loses a portion of their left arm (about halfway between elbow and wrist) in a pivotal point in their life and the severed end on their forearm is damaged beyond any hopes for reattachment for the hand. They instead opt for a customized cybernetic limb with the capacity to conduct and withstand their use of Force lightning. It comes with retractable claw tips (an aesthetic choice that doubles as an interrogation tool lol).

To help process the trauma of aforementioned event and loss of limb, Atrox has the section of skin connecting to their cybernetic blacked out with tattoo ink. The solid color breaks up into a sleeve design as it stretches above their elbow, the details of which I've yet to completely determine. There's definitely a large Pureblood skull and some incantations in High Sith. (Examples: X , X)

In the first year of their time as a Darth, some Sith felt their claim to power was illegitimate. Their mother had a fairly high reputation as someone who had worked their way from "nothing" to rubbing elbows with Dark Council members over cafs at brunch, so to claim they murdered her in true Sith tradition and claimed her assets and powerbase was...contested. While there is a lie in that claim, the fact stands that Atrox an undeniably formidable Sith; they proved that much by doing away with their would-be assassins and challengers in violent, public displays of power.

Atrox is known by their closest colleagues to be avid fan of Imperial operas, their music in particular. In true villain-y fashion, they enjoy having famous arias play in the background as they conduct their archaeological research or read up on the newest publications of other Sith and the Imperial Reclamation Service. They also love dusk music (I'm headcanonning that it's just Star Wars goth rock or whatever), but they only really get to talk about or enjoy it by themselves or when relaxing with Darth Verentis (one of my warriors, and their ex lol). They definitely still go to goth dusk clubs together regularly lol.

On that note, Verentis and Atrox have known one another for nearly a couple decades and remain very close friends. They dated briefly upon Atrox's departure from the Sith academy, though it wasn't serious. Nowadays they often spend time together and aid one another in their respective endeavors when possible. Verentis helps Atrox find both of their apprentices!

They have a pet tuk'ata named Zayin that doubles as their laboratory guard on Dromund Kaas when they're dealing with business elsewhere. Atrox likes to take him hunting on Korriban or let him tag along to planets with wildlife. He was originally bred by Verentis’ family and presented to them as a gift when they dated Verentis.

"Canon" Atrox romances Andronikos for a while but drifts apart from him the closer they get to their seat on the Dark Council. The power difference between them makes Atrox feel uncomfortable, having once been on that end of the dynamic with their mother, and so they feel their breakup is a healthy choice. Andronikos has to swallow his misery and settle for being their good friend and confidant. Once they get through the ordeal on Ossus, Atrox reunites with Khem Val and they get Dashade-engaged. Funnies aside, I think Khem is an excellent romance for dark side-leaning inquisitors. His attraction to them is a little spooky, but that fits with the class's theme and overall I am stoked for it! It's like his undying honor-love for Tulak Hord is renewed in the canon inquisitor, but like, more romantic lol. Even more so because the canon inq doesn't enslave Khem and worked to grant him true independence the entire way through (at least, mine did). Bro I just love Khem Val a lot.

Why i dont ship Kurotsuki.

i guess i need to get all this out of my system...

Im a devotee tsukkiyama shipper, i basically love those ol’ original ship yknow what i mean? like, kagehina, daisuga, iwaoi, ect. but then two days ago i read this amazing ao3 of iwaoi that holy motherfucker so steamy and hot i almost have a heart attack when my mom knock on my door to tell me dinner is ready,  it’s soo well writen and as a good reader need to i reach up the author to give them my kudos and heartfelt comment rite, and then i look up her ao3 account and she also write KuroTsuki  and at first i was like, oke it’s okey, people have their preferences and it’s oke to like difference things and it’s all oke. until. my brain start saying “Hei yknow what, maybe it is much more better if Kuroo end up with Tsukki, yknow all the juicy ao3 and fanart and etc etc. Kenma never shows any sign of romantic feeling towards Kuroo anyway, he only care about Hinata. and Yama got Yachi so yeah win win solution right?”, my dirty mind totally abroad with the idea that instance but my heart feel something wrong like. No. Kuroo cant be with Tsukii cause they never act romantic or even show any kind of romantic feeling towards each other, and yeah i know all the trops and otp are based on headcanons but the idea of Kurotsukii is always off to me, yeah , Kuroo have a great deal contribution on Tsukki’s character development but its as a mentor, as a good senpai he is, and a sole prove that Kuroo is actually a kind and selfless person, and Tsukki always respect Kuroo as a senpai no matter how pain in the ass the former is. their dynamic never scream a long lasting love or passionate kind of love you have when you truly fall for someone. Their dynamic feel like a kouhai and sneaky senpai, ‘cause lets be honest Kuroo is a helpless flirt, that guy probably flirt with anyone,anytime,anyday, and he is as salty as Tsukki sometime, remember when he brought up Daishou’s breakup story after Daisou doubt his height. damn the boy have no chill.  And if yall gonna come to me with all the summer camp arc, i will remind you that Bokuto is there too, tbh its Bokuto words that kinda make  Tsukki realize that volleyball is not just a club , Kuroo train Tsukii cause they both are blokers, if Tsukki were a wing spiker i have no doubt that Bo will take him under his wing in no time. andd also, yall always say they have a great sexual chemistry, well i can see where it came , both are soo attractive and tall, salty mouth, and too high pride that begs to be strips on bedroom floor, all and all give yall wet pants in the end of the day. but it always annoys me how in sooo many ao3s and dj they portrait tsukki as the shorter one between the two of them when Tsukki is CANONNLY TALLER than Kuroo. Yall selling Kurotsukii as sexual couple that humping like a rabbits with taller dom! Kuroo with delicate sub! and shorter Tsukki. but i just cant picture that. Tsukki is so fucking beautiful just let it sink, but he is not delicate and short, he is in no way i can picture all panting and moaning under someone else or at someone mercy, its just to absurd to me. 

So yeah. my conclusion is, i dont ship Kurotsukki and i don’t undertand why people did, but feel free to ship anyway, cause this is just me and my opinion lol. no offense guys.

Could I just get some wholesome headcanons of Bubba and Chop just being bros?

((Hell yeah! I gotta little sib myself and I have to say Chop and Bubba are the #dynamic. Like, calling them a bitch but then immediately high-fiving them. That’s sibling culture. Also, pre-warning for a couple sad boi™ Sawyer childhood headcanons. Me going off about my fave characters and their home lives? It’s more likely than you think.

Okay, so Chop Top and Bubba are probably the closest out of the brothers. Like, while Chop and Nubbins have the twin bond thing going for them, they’re both very extreme personalities and would actually kill each other. Like, they are too powerful to keep in the same room for too long.

While Drayton did most of the actual child-rearing, when Bubba was born Chop really tried to step up to the plate and look out for him. Like, he would tell him which bugs are best to eat or all the fun things you can do with roadkill. Okay, so he’s a terrible influence but he does try. He’d always stick up for Bubba when Drayton was going off about something, and would try and direct the attention and subsequent fury onto himself. When Chop Top went off to Vietnam, Bubba was heartbroken, but Drayton helped them all keep in touch via letters. Even as stingy as he is, there was a specific part of the budget just for international stamps.

When Chop Top finally came home, everything had gone to shit. One brother’s dead and the another’s wearing human faces. Not to mention that they’re all on the run and the family home is currently swarming with pigs, not the cute kind, the ones with badges who are gonna try and tear his family apart. When they reunite, Bubba wails and sobs while he traps Chop in a big bear hug. Among the many other shocking changes, it’s weird to see that his lil’ brother ain’t so little anymore.

On a less angsty note, they bond over music. Even when they were little, they’d hang out by their ancient radio and listen to the the updates of Little Orphan Annie or a spooky detective adventure. Once they’re older, they still hang by the radio and rock out to the classics. They love going on car rides together (definitely not getting high). They’ll crank the radio up and scream along while they cruise around. They can’t really go anywhere but it’s nice to get out of the house.

Chop Top doesn’t mind some of his brother’s more effeminate hobbies. He’s a little confused at first cause like, “Why would you want to sew? That’s boring,” as well as the ingrained homophobia and transphobia of the era. But he’s a laid-back guy and figures if it makes him happy then he should do it. He has let Bubba do his makeup before but he’s terrible cause he never stands still and always smudges it. Also, if there’s a lipstick or chapstick that smells too good he’ll just eat it.

While Bubba outgrew Chop in a lot of ways, they’re very much big and little brothers at heart. Wrangling them is like managing the Three Stooges. Chop is a master at the “I’m Not Touching You” game and can be sooo obnoxious. Bubba just puts him in a headlock and gives him an affectionate noogie. They goof off and tease each other constantly, but when push comes to shove, they always have each others backs.

I get so happy when I see you come online. I have a question. At Crixus memorial, everyone was shouting Crixus name but Nasir and Agron and I always wanted to know why. I know Agron had problems with him, but they actually gave each other respect, and didn't hate each other in WOD. And Nasir never really had any problems with him at all and probably got along with him more than Agron. Any thoughts?

OK SO FIRSTLY, THANK YOUUU for asking this question!!! I actually have a LOT of thoughts and headcanons when it comes to Agron and Crixus’ dynamic!! I am going to start at the beginning though! Because I do believe that Agron’s dislike for Crixus went far deeper than mere fact that he was a Gaul!

One of Agron’s first impressions of Crixus at the ludus, involved Crixus knocking food out of the new recruits hands. That in itself would have raised a red flag for Aggie. BUT, there was something else that had more of an impact. And that was, Crixus sparring with Duro. Now, Crixus was at a point in his life where he had to basically start at the bottom. He had everything to prove to the others AND to Batiatus because the title of Champion was no longer his. That bitter resentment also came out in the way he fought, going EXTRA hard at Duro and overly aggressive. Agron obviously noticed this, which was why he punched Crixus. He knew that the Gaul was being over the top with his brother and he couldn’t stand it. THAT is where Agron’s dislike for Crixus began and how it grew. I know that there are some background shots where Crixus is trying to offer tips to Duro, but I don’t think Crixus genuinely cared about him. And I think Agron was already too fargone in his dislike for Crixus that his anger and the tensions between them continued to grow. 

So when they were looking for Naevia when out of the ludus, I think Agron thought it best to focus elsewhere. That, coupled with the fact that he could not be the one to take the life of the man who sold Duro and him into slavery, just added to Agron’s resentment -- since the guy had to stay alive long enough for Crixus to question him. I know Aggie didn’t do the morally right thing when it came to lying about Naevia, but I don’t think it was just his resentment at Crixus that fueled his actions. I think he really thought he was doing it for the greater good. 

NEXT, we have Nasir. So when they first apprehend him for attempting to kill Spartacus, Agron and Crixus are both in agreement about what should happen to Nasir, but Crixus strikes Nasir. Agron didn’t overly react to it, HOWEVER, after he had a chat with Nasir and you could tell he was warming up to the Syrian, Crixus grabbed him accusingly when Nasir had the Roman soldier stay due to suspicion. So I think Agron did not like the way that Crixus treated Nasir, albeit, still early in the relationship between Nasir and Agron, I think it just did not sit well with Agron, continuing the pattern of Crixus being aggressive towards the ones that Agron cares about. And then of course, later on Crixus tells Agron to stop defending Nasir etc etc so that obviously sparks anger within Agron, for Crixus knows how to provoke him and vice versa. 

NOW, comes my major next big headcanon, and that is, Agron approaching Crixus with apology. That scene where Spartacus is giving his speech and Agron starts to walk towards Crixus. He looks at Nasir, at which Nasir looks at Agron, locks eyes, and Agron has this sort of smile on his face. I have always headcanoned that its Nasir who had previously had a chat with Agron to convince him to try and make amends with Crixus. Agron attempted to do so for Nasir’s sake, knowing that he and Naevia were close. Obviously, it all backfired. I think in some ways, Agron and Crixus are similar and that’s why they clash so much. Which is also why when they realized how similar they could be (in the match against Gannicus and Oenomaus, they bonded and came to a mutual understanding)

So in War of the Damned, they both had this continued . . . understanding. Why? Because they both had the same priority. They were on common ground, happy with their lovers, and focused on battle. Its why there were SO MANY moments where they’re like “Agron is right” or “Crixus is not wrong” etc etc. It wasn’t until Crixus’ direct defiance of Spartacus by killing the Romans that Agron and him had such a strong difference of standings. But that’s something about Agron: he is arguably the MOST loyal one to Spartacus. Agron hardly needed convincing to join Spartacus’ cause at the ludus, and is unwavering in his loyalty to the man. But, that is a whole other situation because I sort of feel bad for Agron in that his loyalty is not appreciated enough -- will save that analysis for another day or unless asked about it ;)!!  

NOOW when the time came to part ways, Agron went because of all the Nagron head canons I rambled on about before. It wasn’t out of loyalty to Crixus or disloyalty to Spatacus. When Crixus died, Agron was definitely saddened. I think he did consider Crixus a brother in arms, fighting for the same cause and it was a heavy blow. Now, it brings me to your initial question about the memorial. 

I think, the fact that the didn’t say anything was more powerful than joining in the chant. I think they were overwhelmed. Agron was traumatized I would say, suffering aspects of PTSD where he was tortured, disabled, and so many other things. I think he was just processing everything. And Nasir was just standing strong by his side. I TOTALLYYY agree with EVERYTHING you said @tays-role-plays !! Nasir absolutely got along with Crixus better than Agron did. I honestly think the reason was simple fact of the two of them just processing everything and trying to come to terms with what had happened. Losing someone so strong and being reunited, they were taking it all in and . . . maybe I’m not interpreting it correctly, but I definitely don’t think it was lacking respect that had them silent. As you said, they did get along -- for the most part. I just feel that for them, silence is stronger than words.

Honestly though, my top five is highly influenced by which universe is currently the most inspiring to me… so yeah, if you sent me this ask again next year, my answer could be drastically different! ;0 Either way, let’s go:

I was a bit hesitant to put both Arlee and Juni up there because even though they’re my current loves, I’m not sure if they’re actually top five material? But for now yes, they are, and they totally could be in the future as well! Arlee has gotten a ton of backstory within the past couple of months and is such a good character now (and very different from what she was supposed to be!), while Juni is still the best thought-out of these two and has a very special place in my heart always.

Liese was a no-brainer, she’s one of my all-time faves for sure. I’m surprised her sis Valeria ended up in my top five too, but eh, maybe that one RP marathon boosted my love for her. ;> Gotta love them Finkels.

I knew from the get-go that one of my PU characters would take one of these spots, and I wasn’t 100% certain if it should be Viira or Charlotte. I definitely RPd as Lotte a lot, lot more, but by the end of the day, when I look at Viira’s story arc as a whole, I couldn’t not go with her. She just breaks my heart. ; O ;
