i occasionally do write solangelo / pjo fan fic... (@j10writes on wattpad..) so since i made that post anyways, i wanted to elaborate...

Nico POV

Night was creeping over the horizon, and I was sat next to Will, waiting for the campfire to light. Most people weren't around yet, except for a small group of newer campers that arrived last week. This would be their first big campfire, ha.

I recalled faintly my first time at the fire, and then again, after the wars. Each had felt very different, one anticipatory and strange. The second time, I was surrounded by friends? and it had been genuine fun. This was my first campfire, however, since Will became my boyfriend.

Not that anyone else knew that, since I had coincidently run off for urgent business at Camp Jupiter not long after.

But tonight, right now. Karaoke and charades were on the schedule and I saw Percy, Annabeth, alongside Piper and Leo headed for the fire. Annabeth looked up first, shooting me and Will a wave. I smiled back, seeing Will wave, then look to me.

He bobbed back and forth on the bench, maybe from anticipation, maybe cold. You would never know with demigods.

"Excited?" He asked with a pensive smile. I smiled faintly back, nodding.

"Yeah," I chuckled, looking up to see Leo running over.

"Can I light it?!" He asked excitedly. Simultaneous shouts of approval hit the air and Leo threw his hand out, striking up a big flame in the fire pit. The fire blazed to life, wafting a blast of heat and light into our faces.

Will smiled into the fire, looking expectantly as the rest of our friends sat down among the pile of other campers accumulating. Karaoke was about to start. Jumping up first, Percy had something in mind. The Little Mermaid's soundtrack rang throughout the night, as singer after singer went up to have some fun with there own addition. Slowly, fewer and fewer people raised hands until it seemed worthwhile to switch to other games. Namely, charades, which I actually chose to participate in.

The Athena cabin won, though Aphrodite cabin came close. This didn't surprise anyone -- the theme was pop culture.

My first pull was "Stitch" from "Lilo & Stitch", which as someone showed me later, was a strange little demon creature from a movie... something I did not know. When I picked up the card, all I could really do was stare at it, -- how was this pop culture? I barely knew what pop culture was. And then...

Well, I acted out someone sewing. No one could connect my sewing gestures to an alien. Apparently, pop culture requires a bit more… context... They guessed "sewing" eventually, but no one said stitch. When the round was up, and I told them what it was, a roar of laughter rang into the air. I asked again, how that could be pop culture? And finally, Percy got up and explained Stitch didn't mean A stitch... I also decided the character stitch sounds strange.

Next I pulled "Darth Vader" which I knew from Will making me watch every single movie in the Star Wars franchise the second I gave him the chance. That surprised people more than my lack of disney knowledge. That I knew Star Wars. I won't pretend I loved it, but... it was like, 10 hours or something insane with Will. And it wasn't awful... Not to mention, for Darth Vader? I just breathed heavily, he got it eventually!

But after so many games, and so many songs, the night was winding down and I could feel sleepiness drifting over each camper -- not that it was anything supernatural, the Hypnos cabin had already gone to bed. Most campers had trickled out and gone to bed, aside from a few stragglers, me and Will included. Tucked safely into the dark of night, I pressed closer to him against the evening's cold air. Will turned to me, smiling.

"Leaving?" He asked softly. I nodded, picking my head up. Before I got up, I pressed my lips to his, getting ready to go just as quickly. Will smiled again, and then I saw the air brighten. Just around the edges, Will was glowing faintly -- and getting brighter, laughing a little as he noticed.

Not that he couldn't notice -- his skin was fluorescent.

Before I could get a word out, I saw wings fluttering nearby. Moths.

The light Will was putting off was enough to attract moths. By the time the moths caught on, so had the campers still around the first -- including Percy and Annabeth, who watched on laughing quietly.

"Will, they like you!" Annabeth smiled, chuckling. I laughed, smiled, and said goodbye as I headed to my cabin.

The memory of Will's glow, strong enough to draw moths stayed in my head even as I tried to fall asleep. The memory of the night stayed in my mind. I had learned to enjoy the campfires, but had that been fun, even? Even not knowing what Stitch was or getting stuck acting out Darth Vader (which, supposedly, "fits me very well"? Really, Percy?) was fun.

It was new, and it was nice.

oh lord, this is TOUGH. i’ve read thousands of fanfics in my life and it’s borderline impossible for me to choose 😭

i can’t rlly separate them into genres per se bc most of them are multi chapter novel-length fics, but i will if applicable!

i’m not a huge fan of condensing entire works into a single word!!! authors work too hard for their writing to be trope-ified like that! so if any of the writers come across this post, please know that i would write fucking essays about these fics if y’all asked.

and one last disclaimer: i’m currently on my phone with limited cell service in europe and can’t jump between tabs to check peoples’ separate tumblr and ao3 usernames, so i’ve tagged who i know off the top of my head!!

“in the sun” (kurt cobain x OC) by ugh-nirvana on wattpad. it has been my favorite fanfiction of all fucking time; i read this at least once a year. primarily fluff and angst, but it follows the OC and kurt through high school and into adulthood. the author and i are actually friends now bc we wrote two of the most popular kurt cobain x OC fics on wattpad 😭🖤

“the windows of this love” (byler angst) by delusional together (Whyyyyy) on ao3. phenomenal story, i cry every time i read it, and i’ve read it so many times it’s kind of a problem lmaooo. it was also one of my inspirations for TIMT.

“that blue gibson” (dave grohl x OC) by thatbluegibson on wattpad. a literal masterpiece. cute, romantic, fluffy, spicy, all of the above.

“the rawest desire (in it’s friendliest form)” (byler smut) by bangingbiddies on ao3. they have a very apropos username; this fic had me slamming my laptop shut multiple times and screaming at my cat. probably the best smut i’ve read tbh.

“i’m a wreck (without you here)” (byler angst) by @oldfashionedmorphine on ao3. INSANE. BEAUTIFUL. LYRICAL. i cannot praise this story highly enough, it’s one of my favorite byler fics of all time. alcoholic mike wheeler is my favorite mike wheeler ngl.

“second chances and dances” (byler angst/fluff) by @foodiewithdahoodie on ao3!!!! i’m a huge sucker for dad mike fics, and this one is *chefs kiss*

“lost without you” (byler angst/fluff) by julia_skysong on ao3. another dad mike fic i actually just finished for the 3rd fucking time in the past 6 months. i recommend reading this whole series, it’s so well written (and is still being written!!).

“fence sitter” (byler smut) by pinkcash on ao3. exactly what the title suggests. sensually spicy and severely suspenseful.

“boy in my class [gerard way]” by lilyrose93 on wattpad. it’s a gerard way x OC. very cute, very cliche, but if you’re looking for ✨fluff✨, this is it. and listen, i know writing about real people who are still alive is kinda weird but like… this one is serious, ok??? 💀

i'm almost sure it's this post-game show lance leaving fic, because i got comments and asks for weeks begging me to write a happy ending lol. but this fic from the hana universe, from when keith is little and shiro is fighting for custody and they haven't figured things out yet. that one is sad. this dream pov adashi fic is also sad and has no happy ending bc, you know. shiro is in space and adam thinks he's dead and everything. my loneliest series is also still in progress and as such there is no happy ending. and this is my earliest angsty-ending fic with MCD

7. what’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

oh god pretty much everything i write has a happy ending?? if i’m being serious?? frankly i don’t do a lot of linear plot. i just write Scenes that are vaguely connected. BUT my h2o fic had a plot that ended happily, as did my cowboy fic, but truly i’m more of a slice of life kinda gal. all my active wips are plot-driven, though, and i plan for all of them to end happily.

8. do you get hate on fics?

oh god yeah. i get it on brown eyed lance, autistic lance, adhd keith, allura just in general (are you sensing a pattern), my refusal to use readmores, and lately just some demands for me to write differently/more?? most of it is just funny so i post it to goof on it lol, but some of it i just delete and pout about until i forget about it 💀

9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?

yes and it’s nasty and i will literally never ever post it. although i guess i’ve written some softer stuff that’s more allusion than anything, like in my loneliest series.

not anymore, but i did when i was a kid?? i think i wrote a pjo/hoo/divergent/the mortal instruments/homestuck/a bunch of other shit fic when i was 13. i’ve successfully blocked that era out of my mind tho so i’m not sure. i do a lot of insane aus, tho. i wrote a fic based off a country song written in the sixties. so.

i’ve had people write continuations of my wips?? which i didn’t rly like. i just ignored it.

god, the butterfly effect. i get people asking me to update all the time and i genuinely feel bad, because i have absolutely no ideas or plans for it. i might try to come up with an ending of some kind?? but i wrote that like two years ago, so i have changed a LOT about my writing since then.

16. what are your writing strengths?

dialogue and humour, i think. and sometimes writing lack of emotional communication (if that makes sense — i like to try and write around an emotion).

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

i over explain a lot. and i overuse dialog ur tags sometimes. i have a Very Specific scene playing out in my head and i want everyone else to see it like i’m seeing it, which is my downfall a lot. i’ve been trying to work on implicit stage directions.

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

i think sometimes it’s necessary? it can be a good tool for humour, like with cussing that can’t be achieved in english. but while i understand and read several languages i have always always struggled to speak or write in them. it’s very frustrating so i often avoid the subject entirely lol.

i’ve been writing fanfic in my head since before i knew what it was, but i started typing things at around 11 when i used to homestuck roleplay with my friends lol. messy messy times.

the applebee’s universe: modern au with young keith and lance learning how to love each other

tbh with you all i started crying as soon as i read this message for the first time and i'm still speechless and, for the first time in a long time, i feel valued.

the fact that not only someone takes their time to read what i write, that might not be great, but also takes their time TO TRANSLATE IT TO ANOTHER LANGUAGE is just insane and i take it as a huge compliment.

this is the first time in quite a while now that i feel valued. for a minute i feel good enough, and i haven't had that feeling for so long. that's actually why i've been thinking for quite a while now about giving up on writing. having no support and 0 engagement on wattpad is insane. i've been tending to compare myself to other writers on that orange app because while i see your my being there, with no support, i see other writers growing, getting too many reads and vote in such a little amount of time.

i know they're just stupid fanfics about f1 drivers, but it's my time, my effort, something that has become my comfort zone when my life became a mess and has helped me more than you'd think. it's hours of not just writing, but also thinking good ideas that might be different and try to catch people's attention. it's editing, trying to promote your stories on tiktok and trying to make your best, all of that while i study a university degree.

i'm only going to do one because my other headcanons aren't as serious, like i'm serious about using them but they aren't really serious, you know? tw for suicide, and murder, and later on, discussions of abuse

First off, I do think that Manfred had a sort of "DL-6 Incident" where he was the victim's child. Here's how it goes: His father, a famous defense attorney was murdered by a rival prosecutor, in his own office, Manfred was trapped in the office with the body for several hours. His mother, who had noticed his and his father's absence, searched the house and then called the police when she found the study door unable to open (despite not being locked on either side) and hearing her son crying for her on the other side. The police come, break down the door, find Manfred and his father, and the case ends up going cold. Manfred's mother ends up hanging herself a few days later, where Manfred is then adopted and raised by the murderer

--Stupid/silly headcanons about a character or characters of your choice

so these ones aren't entirely silly or stupid but i really wanna share them so this is what you're getting >:)

When Manfred was younger, he had very, very long and bright orange hair that many describe as "almost seeming to glow in the dark". It made him appear almost ethereal, matched with how he constantly seemed to float, it would attract stares and charm others. It was like his hair made him sort of a Dahlia in other people's eyes.

Manfred actually had a defense attorney friend, his name was Vice Karmel (bonus: his name was meant to have the "VK" initials as a nod to manfred and i specifically choose "Vice" because of it's meaning), and he helped Manfred when he was accused of murder back in 1970, they were friends for awhile but eventually had a falling out after Manfred had attempted to end his life and pushed everyone away. (that's not so silly but back to silly) Vice and Manfred, when they were friends were a chaotic duo, but not too crazy. Less Damon Gant and Blaise Debeste, more Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey sort of chaotic. Manfred was usually the one acting all chaotic and crazy, contrary to his persona, Vice usually had to be the one to calm him down.

--Favorite fanfic about a character/ship of your choice and why

ooo this one is hard but i think i have an answer, this one isn't necessarily about one character but it focuses on characters like Miles, Gregory, and of course, Manfred. So my answer for this one is Turnabout Enemies by Youngbountygirl on AO3 (or wattpad if you're brave). The reason why is because the characterization, backstory, and plot in this fanfiction is literal GOLD, i re-read this one almost month i swear

snowbaz, definitely. it’s been my longest-running OTP (do people still say OTP?) and i’ve written so any fics for it.

hmm, i’ve only got 3 wips and i think i’ll finish them all eventually, but blow on the tinder and we are slaves to the gods are definitely on the back burner for now.

i’ve been told i’m good at writing dialogue, which is good because that’s two thirds of all the words i write.

descriptions and anything sappy, which gives me second hand embarrassment.

i tend to shy away from it, but if i do i always put it in italics and will put a translation in the notes unless it’s super obvious, and like when other authors do the same.

Percy Jackson! I wrote so much solangelo and was actually pretty popular on wattpad, one of my fics broke a million hits which is still insane to me. i still get the occasional message asking me to come back and finish my fics, but i logged out of that account in 2018 and am not going back.

oh, that’s hard. i’m really enjoying writing Shoulder To Shoulder right now, but i still love All That She Wants and Liar Liar. i also really love I’m On My Way To Believing, which is a greek mythology Pyrrhus/Hermione fic. they’re my blorbos. but i’d have to say my all-time favourite will always have to be the first carry on fic i ever wrote, which got me out of a years long writing slump: Rats.

Barbecue and Blood (Father/Son) (submission)

That recent ask about a slasher movie that had siblings who were a couple reminded me when I found this slasher themed story in 2014 on wattpad that had a photoshopped cover of two hot shirtless men holding each other with a shadowed figure holding a knife nearby with the title Barbecue and Blood written by Ethan Myers. I can’t seem to find the story anymore or the writer, which has bugged me forever.

It had sudden incest in the story which surprised me. 

So like, a man wearing a lamb mask who’s a criminal charged for rape and cannibalism escapes prison, after an earthquake destroys it, targets a small town. They introduce a group of friends that fit every horror character archetype. However, they pull a twist, the obvious final girl and her love interest die first with barbed wire from the killer. And were just left with the party boy, popular girl, ditzy blond girl, funny boy, goth girl and a hot male jock.

The jock ends up getting focused on. We find out he’s gay and he lives with his bi DILF father who he is close with, his mother will not be in the picture anymore and they got a divorce that will be finalized in winter (she was actually killed in the opening with her new lover via spear gun lol)

The part in the story that made me snort because it was so mean spirited is that the jock has go to a farm to pick up a crate of vegetables and bottled milk the owner of the farm gifted to his father for helping him with something.

And we find out he used to hang out with the owners cute flannel shirt son until he went into sports. They get talking again, happy to see each other, the guy clearly has a crush on the jock. This is his obvious love interest that will save him, am I right? Nope. Then shockingly, the flannel shirt guy gets brutally murdered by the killer with a tree cutting machine. And forgotten after that lol. Poor dude.

Then there’s insane part that had me laughing, where there’s a barbecue parade (I never heard such a thing lol) and the killer somehow makes giant food signs loose and fall over shocking, splitting, and crushing people to death. The father and jock are there and there’s like a stampede. The jock almost gets hit by a food van, but his father jumps on him, pulling them both out of the way and into the ground, where the father is on top of the jock, and they look closely at each other. 

The rest of the friend group get picked off by the killer. (They threw a party at a slaughterhouse and died. LOL. What were they expecting). The party boy, popular girl, ditzy blonde girl, funny boy and goth girl are all cut to pieces with a chainsaw by the killer when they were all together telling the origins of the killer and their bodies were placed on meat hooks. The jock who didn’t want to come to the party is attacked and chased by the killer at a barbecue restaurant, but he escapes.

The jock and his father decide to get away from the madness and stay a vacation house in the woods. The killings in town stop for a while and the police seem to have a suspect. The jock and his father start spending more time together and get close. It just looked normal father son bonding time at first. Until one night the jock joins the father in shower and they make out. There’s not much drama about it. The jock and his father realize they both are in love with each other and want to be together, but they have to keep it a secret. Meanwhile, another couple are killed with arrows by the killer at the lake near the vacation house. The killer then breaks into the house and kidnaps the jock.

It becomes days when the cops can’t find his son and the father decides to look for him by himself. After some digging, the father finds a torn shirt at a crime scene with a logo on it that connects it to an abandoned meat factory in the woods and finds the jock alive, but tied up with other people. The killer has a giant grill filled with many cooking body parts and talks about how it will be a great feast in history. The other captives are killed, but before he can kill the jock, the father shows up, getting into a violent fight with the killer. This gives the jock time to grab a dropped knife and cut himself free.

The giant grill begins smoking and catching fire. The killer stabs his father and leaves him bleeding to attack the jock and choke him with a chain, but the jock stabs him many times with meat fork. The father instantly gets back up and shoves the killer into the flaming grill and he burns to death. The fire starts spreading until it reaches gas tanks and the father and jock leave as the factory explodes.

The story ended with them sleeping together and deciding they are going to move away next summer. 

I’m not really a fan of slasher horror movie styled stories, but I thought it was interesting to make an incest couple as the survivors in one with a happy ending.

omg. okay. firstly in more historical fics, i loooove the aides interactions. like their dynamic is just so special to me.

and something else i’ve noticed a bit is that in lams fics, john uses petnames a lot more than alexander does. i don’t know why, i’ve just noticed it. but i love it so much. i kinda like to picture that alexander just has so many words, but when it comes to having a petname for john he just can’t think of anything to describe him. i don’t know, that’s just what i think. also the ‘my dear boy’ nickname???? obsessed. actually my favourite thing in the whole world.

okay i have a few.

this is biased given its personal AND super recent, but “i haven’t slept in a week”. i was scared to post that but im actually really proud of that writing lmao, despite how terrified i was to post it

then there’s “for all the love i’ve found in you, i’ll be forever grateful baby”. i hated it at the time but i’ve grown to be really proud of it, and that poem i wrote. also because i wrote that for akeyla and it’s actually really sweet

and also “baby it’s cold outside”. that fic is my child like i’m so proud of that fic

and then also “like crying out in empty rooms, with no one there except the moon”, “like mother, like daughter” (agggtm), “but this situation’s helpless” (this was my favourite fic id ever written for soooo long), “fools who run their mouths off wind up dead”, and “steal into my affections”

16- a tiny detail in canon that you want more people to appreciate

omg okay so musical canon, i think people should focus on some of the ways that burr especially says some lines. like the sound of his voice, the way his delivers his lines. like i made that soit the other day about how he says “i get a drink” in the world was wide enough. i feel like we really need to appreciate more the way he delivers his lines. i don’t know how to describe it, but he just sounded like. flat. you can tell by his voice he was just like. “holy shit. i have just killed hamilton.” and he regretted it. i don’t know how to explain it. but we really need to appreciate this more

in historical canon, i feel like we need to focus more on the schuylkill incident. i swear that’s the funniest story ever. and also the aides friendships and family dynamic?? and also lafayette and washington’s friendship and kinda like. father-son relationship. it’s just. as much as i absolutely adooooore washington and alexander’s relationship, in historical canon he was definitely closer with lafayette than alexander.

24- how has fandom positively impacted your life?

okay. how do i even begin with this.

fandom has been a huuuge part of my life since i was 6, with harry potter. i remember when i was in year 5 (10-11 years old-ish), we had to write a creative story, and i fully wrote a marauders era fanfiction. because that’s how i got into creativity, it was through fanfiction. i remember my year 5 teacher giving me a whole lecture about how i can’t write something that already exists, and i was really upset about it, and i spent ages refusing to write fanfiction, and only write original works, and i just couldn’t get anything written. fandom and fanfiction is a huge part of my life, and it’s a huge outlet of stress for me.

i would use fanfiction to make sense of my feelings for years, even when i was younger, and i’d get a bit of disconnect from strong emotions by giving them to characters, and i’d feel just that little bit better. and also reading fanfictions, where a character is feeling and going through similar things always make me feels a little bit less alone, i could read or watch the canon material and see my comfort character, and i’d remember that in a certain fanfiction where the character may have been going through something similar to me, and i’d be like, “well if this character, who is so strong, can get through it, i can get through this. i can do it.” and it would give me that comfort. seeing my comfort characters feeling the same way always makes me feel a bit better about everything

Neville Longbottom knew it was wrong, so incredibly wrong, he told himself exactly that almost every moment. Yet, he couldn’t help the way his heart would flutter and his face would flush whenever he caught their eye, he couldn’t help but to love Y/N Lestrange.

As for Lestrange, they shared the same shameful feelings of wanting the other. It goes without saying that they’ve tried so many times to show they’re a genuinely good person in so many different ways yet, no matter what they’ve always been shunned by their house, fellow students, practically the whole school! And truthfully, they didn’t blame them at all, they were a child of a Death Eater of course.

It’s assumed by now that they’d usually be seen in the crowd with their cousin Draco Malfoy surrounded by the other children of those who serve The Dark Lord, right? Wrong. Y/N Lestrange was nothing at all like their mother and they liked it that way thank you very much!

They were kind and compassionate, always lending a helping hand to those in need, despite them bolting off as soon as they noticed who it was. Their features differed from their mother’s, their expression always the opposite of the gaunt and haunting one of hers. Y/N always had remained true to themself, choosing to take after their cousins Andromeda, Sirius and their great uncle Alphard, choosing to be another blood traitor or black sheep of the family.

For Merlin’s sake they were even sorted into Gryffindor! The only thing they shared was the same surname! But, despite all this not a single person cared. They were still the same old Lestrange.

They had been raised by Narcissa and Lucius in the Malfoy family alongside Draco per Bellatrix’s stern orders, that is until they were sorted into Gryffindor, Merlin knows Lucius didn’t want a blood traitor AND a Gryffindor representing his family, so before they knew it they were forced to raise themself beside the ever so cantankerous Kreacher in the lone cobweb ridden Grimmauld Place.

That all changed of course when Sirius was freed of his charges and could live alongside them, he’d tried to get his godson and his friends to see what type of person Y/N truly was but they were having absolutely none of it and Y/N didn’t blame them, their mother drove one of their best mates’ parents to pure insanity.

So, Y/N was left with nobody at Hogwarts, besides Onyx, the ebony coated maine-coon Andromeda and Ted had lovingly adopted for them to help with the loneliness that came from living in Grimmauld Place, as well as the many magical creatures they resorted to for comfort, or so they thought.

Little did they know the boy who was supposed to have the most hatred for them had the total opposite.

If only Neville was able to actually get a moment alone with them without his friends trying to protect and defend him or any other nearby student cussing the young Lestrange out for even being remotely near him.

If only then he could see the real Y/N. If only then he could have a chance to hear them out, to genuinely understand them. If only things weren’t the way they were.

If only they could feel this way without shame.

Yet, this was the way it had to be.

Taekookers saw two tall handsome men and decided to ship them. They then watched youtube videos where they are portrayed as toxic couple, always jealous, one is cheating, the other is hurt, their friend is a home wrecker, no honesty, no respect and they liked it. It's like they found a real Wattpad story.

You know how people in general have this mindset that they love to come up with things that can make them have the full control over?The problem starts with creating things revolving around something that has already happened in the certain way which makes people uncomfortable. I will mostly refer to the shipping culture (and will compare stuff to books and fanfics) in this post because that’s how it usually looks like for taekookers.

Imagine that you and your friend group have always shipped one of your friends with a guy that hangs out with you from time to time. They were fitting each other well visually and it was fun for you to come up with the funny stories about them. But one day that friend of yours got into a relationship. After they start dating someone else, you and your friend group would most likely feel uncomfortable to continue shipping them with that guy because they now have someone else. It would be weird and disrespectful to them and their partner.

It’s like when you’re reading a fanfic or a book and the two main characters start dating really fast as the story progresses and the writer loses the previous sense and logic of the plot. You don’t feel the need to keep reading because it’s not amusing or interesting. And because taekookers are people who do not take it seriously (they are shippers, not supporters) they see Taehyung and Jungkook as objects of their imagination.

Deep down they know what they say is not real anyways so they treat it as an amusing thing for fun. That’s where their problem with jikook begins. They know there’s something different about them and probably unconsciously they see it the way we do but don’t realize it - but that’s the thing. It’s not what they want. Because admitting that jimin and jungkook *can* possibly be together or have feelings for each other means that their story has already happened in a certain way. They want drama, creative plots, scandals etc and not the friends to lovers irl trope.

With Taehyung and Jungkook - many of them knows that those two aren’t together. But they are both handsome and hot, they fit well in their imaginations so it’s like they have an empty canvas. No matter what they come up with.. that thing will always (generally) have a possibility of happening because jk and taehyung’s story was not written in that certain way. They are friends and bandmates so there are endless possibilities of multiple narratives and stories about their developing bond. it’s like they are using the boys as characters to create the ideal version of their reality. Just like you said - a real life fanfic.

And unfortunately this behavior caused that many of young people and new armys that just recently joined the fandom truly start to believe what taekookers have been coming up with. If you believe in something so damn much and later you realize you’ve actually been lied to.. that’s extremely hard. So when someone is trying to ruin that reality for them, they go crazy and start acting insane.

Many of those people often run away to that fake reality because of the things they deal with in real life. So when something is crushing that reality, they hold on to that the tightest they can. That’s why they come up with debunking threads, that’s why they will do everything to prove those videos of Taehyung and Jennie are cosplayers - even if they don’t believe that themselves. As long as they are deluded, it’s what is giving them the power and happiness.

Our boys are humans. Real people. Not characters from manga that get monthly updates. We can’t just create our own version of their reality using them as the representative characters in our story. What we CAN do is support them and cherish the accurate and real dynamic of their bonds. It doesn’t need analysis. It doesn’t need fake narratives. It’s all there for you to see.
