it's so strange when you are an artist or creator that makes art and also deal with being marginalized in one or many ways. people, especially people you've never met, will try their hardest to ruin your life purely out of spite and justify doing it for many reasons. the more I get older and think about what happened to me, the more I go "yeah this was unjustified in my opinion I think???"

I agree I did not need a big platform when I was a teen yes, I did stupid shit yes! but honestly the way people behaved towards me when I was a 15-19 yrs old was gross and I don't care how much they argue that it was right.

they hide it as criticism, and then the criticism in question is calling my transfem friends transmisognistic slurs or being bigoted to me in some way. it's not criticism it's hanging onto past drama and my identity as an attempt to trigger me into having a suicidal mental breakdown. it's not working because I once again have a slightly better support network.

there's so much misinformation about me too along with having my identities and disorders picked apart like ok! there's a point where you gotta realize that there's a clear difference between holding accountability and just pushing someone to their breaking point + dehumanization.

it's why I kinda don't give a single fuck anymore and hold my ground because I don't owe these people shit for doing this to me for years. me and my system don't. maybe stop being parasocial with someone you don't know and realize you contributed to bullying someone one way or another, but you won't because you'd realize that you did something bad and will heavily internalize it. I don't forgive any of you btw or want your forgiveness. I will keep drawing and healing.

sure! it sounds like you have a multitransitional identity, i've met a lot of people who have followed transition paths similar to this.

MtFtM is male to female to male, and FtMtF is female to male to female! i've met afab, amab, and intersex people who identify with these terms. i've made friends with a couple other MtFtM folks lately who identify with it for different reasons than me! the folks ive met who use it aren't intersex but for their own personal reasons, whether it be that transitioning to female was not for them, or that they feel as though they want or need to transition into manhood, some identify so strongly with the feelings and experiences that transmascs and men have that they adopt the label, or even that transitioning to female gave them a greater appreciation for manhood. there are many other reasons, but these are a few that i've heard from personal friends!

i identify with the term because i'm intersex and was born AMAB, forced to switch to AFAB after birth and forced on to estrogen HRT as a teen, then i realized whatever they were doing wasn't right for me and was making me feel even more dysphoric and uncomfortable, so i switched gears to transition back into masculinity. the tF part of my transition was not consensual, but it is still a vital part of my life's timeline because it changed a LOT of things about my body against my will. i likely would not have anywhere near as much breast tissue as i do now if it were not for forced transition

now, on the less dramatic side of things, there are maaaaaanyyyyy folks ive met out there who consider themselves multitransitional. ive noticed a very cool phenomenon where someone begins transition and then it helps them gain appreciation for another gender they may have previously felt ambivalent or even dysphoric about. i think sometimes in transition when we change certain things about ourselves we find uncomfortable, it opens the doors to being more open minded about other identities.

if for whatever reason you feel as though you are transitioning in that direction, that's more than an appropriate term to use for yourself! after HRT, a lot of things can change. i think your transition path makes perfect sense to me. sometimes someone's transition has multiple stops along the way, and that's okay. your transition doesn't have to follow a conventional path, as long as you are going in the direction you want to go in, you're doing the right thing for yourself.

there are also the terms transfemasc or transmascfem to describe multitransitional paths as well!

happy pride month im back from the dead here's my lgbt headcanons for the squint squad mwah

brennan (she/they/it) : bisexual + genderqueer !!! i think she doesn't care much for labels in all honesty, and views her identity as a fluid and personal experience. but if you ask her to label it, she'll give you those ones :-) she's always just Known who she is. she assumed everyone felt this way her whole life, didn't understand why she felt so isolated from girls growing up. strict labels on gender and sexuality have always just felt so made up and impersonal to her-- she's just Her.

booth (he/him) : bisexual .... i think he hold it very close to his chest after a lifetime of hypermasculinity and assumed heterosexuality but there have been multiple guys he's fallen in love with over the years, from his highschool hockey friends to a boyfriend he had in the military. it's not like he keeps it a secret, but he doesn't feel comfortable shouting it to the world.

angela (she/they) : bisexual transfem !! she's kinda always known, and she never really had to hide it. spending her childhood on the road with her dad she met all sorts of people from all sorts of walks of life, so when she figured out she was a girl, her dad was just happy she was happy. she just loves love, has fallen in love with so many people of so many identities throughout her life. she views love as a spiritual connection, nothing to do with anyones gender. if she loves you, she loves you.

hodgins (he/they/it) : bisexual transmasc :-) he's known he was a guy since he was pretty young, but growing up rich and sheltered he was forced into femininity at all oppirtunities to protect his family reputation. by the time he was 16, his family gave up on controlling his "tomboy" ness, and once he left for university, he transitioned on his own. he covered up his bisexuality for a LONG time, especially when he was more worried about "passing". once he found people who loved and accepted him for who he was, he was much happier and safer to explore his identity and relationships :-)

cam (she/her) : pansexual !! she's always loved girls, but thought it was admiration most of her life. she assumed everyone looked at other girls that way, fascinated by them, bizarrely jealous but also desperate to get close to them. she thought they were just her friends, until she was in college and making out with another girl while drunk and realized she liked it so much more than any of the other girls she was around. she's much happier with herself and her relationships now that she's accepted who she is. she's also got some gender stuff going tf on but if she acknowledges it for 30 seconds she will fucking explode.

How they met: Due to his injuries making it extremely difficult for him to adjust to his new life in the cult (let alone how he would now have to learn how to live with a mortal body again) on his own, the Yellow Cat (who i will be referring to as "Amare" from now on) was assigned as his caretaker to help him deal with the necessities that came with being a mortal again (sleep, water, physical activities and so on) on top of the problems that came with his injury. While Leshy at first felt insulted by this treatment (the whole "i was a god i can do this without the help of some mortal yada yada" thing), he soon realized it was for the better (while also realizing his feelings for Amare :3).

Leshy: Freed from Purgatory in the cult around 100-ish years after his death and 15 years after Narinder was overthrown by The Lamb. All his high priests and his witness (Amdusias, Valefar, Barbatos and Agares) had passed away before his arrival, making the former and current gods of death the only "familiar" figures in the cult (they both changed so much after their last encounters), although he still avoided both of them most of the time (Narinder because of his conflicting thoughts about the older brother, and The Lamb somewhat out of anger at them but mostly fear due to how traumatic Purgatory was for him), but dont worry they eventually made amends along with the rest of the bishops :). Also became friends with bat follower but she isnt relevant for this post

Amare (the Yellow Cat): Rescued from being sacrificed to the dead bishop of chaos in Darkwood after followers of the Old Faith killed everyone else from his village, works as a farmer in the cult. He was the only follower (aside from the first five followers of the cult, who are kept alive and act as advisors and friends for The Lamb) that knew of Leshy's past as an bishop, and though he still held resentment for the former god, The Lamb's seeming disposition to forgive him made the cat consider doing the same for him, volunteering to be his caretaker. Once their relationship was made official, he was given a golden skull necklace to ensure the two could stay by each other's side for eternity.

Now for the children hehe

They are twins (as ive mentioned in my other posts), a daughter named Camellia (Amare chose the name) and a son named (drumroll please im so proud of this name) Havoc! (Name chosen by Leshy of course).

They both have green moss-like fur from Leshy, and the head shape of a cat from Amare, but other than that their bodies are very distinct due to inheriting different parts from their parents

Havoc: His limbs and tail, as well as his longer whiskers, are from Amare, giving him a silhouette very similar to a cat, aside from the antler-like branches he got from Leshy, he also has two sets of eyes like Leshy used to have once, ironically though, he has rather poor eyesight, needing glasses to see things that are a bit too far. Despite his name he is actually pretty calm and enjoys the peacefulness of the cult, though this doesnt mean he is opposed to some occasional mischief, specially with his sister. Wants to help with teaching when he becomes of age (also im thinking about the idea of having him figure himself out as transfem but thats for another time)

Camellia: her limbs and tail, being from Leshy, are quite a bit longer and thicker than her brother's, giving her a broader and taller silhouette, as well as making her quite a bit stronger physically, she also has only one set of eyes and shorter whiskers than her brother, as well as no branch antlers. Is a very active person, playing with other kids and sometimes helping adults with tasks that wouldnt risk injuring her (most of the time they dont let her though). Also loves doing pranks and other forms of tomfoolery around the cult along with her brother. She is also very protective of him, getting into multiple fights with kids (and a drunk adult one time) who pick on him (aka bullies). Wants to follow her parent's job of farming when she comes of age.

since I've made aaron's fur pattern white, i thought his goth girlfriend deserved the red and black fur pattern he had.

some other Diana hcs:

she can sing really well, but avoids it unless its for a gig. She doesn't want to wreck her voice. She has a very soft singing voice too, so thankfully it's not too much on her vocal cords 80% of the time. But you can never be too safe. She will hum along to music occasionally.

I have lore about a dog-goth style in my rewrite which Diana slowly starts getting more interested in towards the end of college, though he's more vamp-goth before that. I could get into the Dog-Goth of my rewrite but oh you don't want me to. Because then I'd have to get into the werewolf punk scene i made up in my head.

She's always been very slight, but she's trying to bulk up some muscle mass. She's also quite tall ( about 6'3) but is the smallest in her band. Since they're all werewolves. And werewolves can casually be like 6'5 and no one bats an eye at that.

He grew up with punk parents, and therefore punk ideology. They were very supportive of him, and so he had a pretty nice upbringing.

She speaks quite monotone in her day-to-day life (though her singing is quite expressive). and so her and Aaron are matchy matchy with that. Autism-bonding and all.

He does not dress up every day. He usually slaps on some eyeliner, maybe some light makeup, and leaves it at that. and just throws on a nice shirt and skirt. He's got no time to make himself look fancy if he's tryna get through college with any shred of sanity left.

She shaved the tails of her eyebrows off. which are why her eyebrow piercings are BELOW her eyebrow (which she draws on). She carries around tweezers to pluck the hair that grows back in when she's bored in her lectures. Or in a dull conversation.

He's transfem, and uses he/her pronouns. People tend to over-correct and only use she/her pronouns for him but nah. BOTH. Obviously only using one or another in a conversation is fine. But only one for like ever? Nah. Nah.

I'm dianron dirt till i die. She occasionally goes through his spotify to judge the music he has on there, or 'make it good'. She put one of her band's songs on his longest playlist and he didn't realise until a few months after they broke up. He still listens to it after because like... Di can sing, y'know.

He self-labels as Queer, sexuality-wise.

She wears platform boots to feel taller. Especially when with Aaron, since it's embarrassing to be rocking around with a human that's taller than her. (She knows he's a werewolf, she just isn't a total dickhead and lets everyone else continue thinking he's a werewolf). He's still taller.

He met Ken when he caught Ken smoking weed in their highschool bathroom. They ended up sharing and talking about cryptids for the whole next period.

Ken is also on the band. He plays drums. Diana once broke his drumsticks because he wouldn't stop hitting everyone like they were drums. She bought him new ones for his birthday because she felt bad.

Him and Blaze are cousins. Their mothers are sisters.

You know why I'm sick and tired of seeing it?

Because I want every single person who uses it to define a man to me, and they never will, because they judge me based on my appearance, on the flesh I was born into.

What is a man? Is it anyone with a dick? Well there goes your whole "support women" schtick, cause not all people with a dick are men.

Is it anyone who identifies as male? Well there goes your whole "support trans people" schtick, cause some men are afab.

Is it anyone who is a cis man? Well there goes your "acceptance and love" schtick, cause some cis men are allies who are fighting just as adamantly about our right to live and love and be ourselves as we are.

Is it anyone who LOOKS like a man? Well there goes ALL OF THE ABOVE, because then you're judging based on outward appearance, assuming their identity, and generalizing that they must be awful and horrible, because they look like a man and therefore they are one and should stay away from you, which is EXACTLY what the homophobes and the transphobes say about US.

Do you have deep-rooted trauma surrounding men from a majorly traumatic moment or a series of them throughout your life? Alright, I get that, I can respect that, by all means, continue, build your safe space and do it your way.

Or do you just hate "men" (whatever the hell you define that as) because you had a couple annoying experiences or you met a few bad apples and let them dictate the entire rest of your life by allowing them to live rent free in your head as eternal reminders to be hateful?

"men dni" which men? trans men? transfems that look male? People with both parts that present as male, willingly or unwillingly? Non-Binary folk who present as male?

What men aren't allowed to interact, and why?

And I know, I know, asking why is a huge faux pas, but it's fucking important to ask why in this case.

It's stupid as hell for Taylor Femgal or Alex Boyfella to be a bigot against all men and male-presenting individuals, trans or not, while simultaneously saying "Trans people should be loved and respected!" because then it's ultimately not about trans people, because what Tammy is actually saying is "The trans people I LIKE should be loved and respected!" which is fucking AWFUL as a platform.

On the other hand, it's completely justified if Riley Ladygirl or Jamie Mascdude went through hell for six years solid at the hands of a man (or group of men) and now has a legitimate ptsd response to seeing/interacting with men or male-presenting individuals.

I'm sorry if that's a hot fucking take but I don't see how someone can preach acceptance and love and tolerance while simultaneously alienating an entire extremely-hard-to-define group of the human population, WHILE ALSO condemning and demonizing the people they're alienating FOR ALIENATING OTHERS.

You don't get to be an ally and a hypocrite at the same time. You don't get to say "We deserve to exist" when you're telling another group they don't deserve to exist.

We don't fucking trade fascists for fascists.

So let me make this VERY fucking simple.

If you have "men dni" in your dni list, just fucking block me. Because you're either saying "No men, not even the allies that risk their lives right alongside us at pride events in dangerously anti-lgbt cities", or you're saying "No trans masc individuals, if they identify as men they're just as bad", or you're saying "No trans fem individuals, they were born male so they're bad", or you're saying ALL of these at once.

so, what is heart-shaped patch?

great question! i'll tell you in this "brief" explanation.

summary: heart-shaped patch is a live-tweeted project created by myself and my qpp (@kitty-lattee) in early july of 2023. this story stars three main characters; giovanni and matteo lupo, and mark nadeau. matteo and giovanni are played by myself, and mark is played by goose.

characters:

GIOVANNI LUPO (he/him) is a 24 year old alpha male. and if you're on tumblr, i doubt i have to explain what that means. he's a very typical alpha, violent and crude. he also happens to have an issue with alcoholism, which makes his outbursts even worse. in his childhood, giovanni's dad left the family. this led gio to attach to his mother (also an alpha, her name is isabella) further and adopt her bigoted ideals against omegas and betas. which leads us to...

MARK NADEAU (he/she), a 26 (as of september 7th 2023) year old beta gnc transfem. mark is a french-canadian who moved to giovanni's hometown in the state of georgia for college after a family tragedy. the two met at a local church and started dating shortly after. mark is a gentle person, in deep juxtaposition to giovanni's bold and erratic behavior. she takes care of a cat named cassie, a stray he found one day.

MATTEO LUPO (he/him) is a 29 year old omega male. he is giovanni's older brother, and unfortunately the least favorite in their mother's eyes. shortly after turning 24, he moved away from his hometown and went about 2 counties away from the rest of the lupos, cutting contact with them altogether for the bigoted views they display. nowadays, he works in an office and is in a long-distance relationship with ezra becker, who lives in boston.

story:

everything starts when thomas coinin, ex-husband to isabella lupo, leaves the lupo family for good. the change is swift and impulsive, and destroys the lupos forever. the younger brother, giovanni, despises his father for this change. how could he leave like that? he grew closer to isabella to cope with the change. matteo, however, understood his father's decision. he knows what isabella is like, and she's a very prejudiced woman. matteo would distance himself from his mother and giovanni, eventually cutting them off.

meanwhile, mark nadeau returns home to find his entire family gone. their lives were taken by a serial killer. this leads her to a very deep depression, and he impulsively moves to georgia for college, and for some change. in the new state, she meets a 19 year old giovanni lupo.

at the time, giovanni seemed to be a nice guy. he offered mark a home, somewhere to stay while the two went through college together. the two started dating shortly after. an important detail to note is that giovanni was under the impression that mark was an omega. this is why isabella approved of their relationship.

however, one day giovanni noticed something. the two had been together for a few months, and not once had mark gone through a heat. heat suppressants were uncommon and expensive, something that mark couldn't afford without giving up the necessities. he confronts mark about this, only to be greeted with the fact that mark is a beta.

giovanni had spent his entire life hating betas. it's all he's ever been taught. and now his boyfriend is one? he felt enraged. angry. disgusted. nonetheless, giovanni was to protect mark from his mother. she wouldn't know for another few years.

those few years passed, bringing us to the present. mark and giovanni's relationship grew abusive on giovanni's part. he began to be violent towards him, his alcoholism only making his rage worse.

Alright, doing this on my side blog, allow me to enchant you with your son's story so far:

Camellia was born a happy, squeaky lil child, and had such a perfect childhood that I get a moodlet about it every 5 seconds and he's not even a teenager yet.

He likes dancing!! That was like, his only interest I think aside from being social. Little guy wanted to stay in the kitchen and groove to the alexa

Once he was old enough to go to school, Camellia made friends with this ship child from another fandom that I adore the design of but never play with. She's autistic and he's a good, understanding friend to her :] And also his parents adore him

He's met some very interesting characters (including Tumblr's very own Nagito Komaeda).

He's a boy scout and good at school (I had nothing to do with that the sim obsessively did his homework without me telling him to)

And then Dream and Blue had another. It was the beginning of the end

While I valiantly wrestled with the game and its glitches to take care of this newborn infant, I lost sight of Camellia. By the time I remembered to check on him, it was too late. He had gone pool lounging in the middle of a blizzard for some reason and froze to death. great job genius

Grieving over the loss of her (Dream's transfem <3) son, Dream becomes obsessed with necromancy.

After about a week, Camellia comes back as a ghost and continues to go through life as the undead until one day Dream finally makes it: the elixir of life

Look at that! They're so happy they're clipping horrifically into one another! That's how you know a sim is excited

And since then he's resumed childhood as normal! He'll be on to his teen years soon enough! (P.S. the 3rd and 4th photo above are Ink taking the kids and Frisk Undertale to a water park in the middle of the night. He left without taking Frisk home)

I am jaded but hopeful. My government is trying to keep me from breathing but other people have kept me alive. I am going to die someday but I’m here, right now, improbably.

I stopped being homeless yrs ago bc a distant lesbian acquaintance needed someone to take over her lease, we had only interacted a few times years ago at a dyke meetup, but she remembered me and was thrilled to help out another queer person

I met one of my best friends on a video game server chat randomly. She helped save my life unexpectedly when I visited once

I denied myself hrt for years and years and only considered it because of a distant online friend who broke down those closet doors. Meeting him fundamentally changed my life. I know myself, and I don’t know if I ever would have considered hormones otherwise. It catalyzed me actually addressing my severe PTSD

Me and my transfem roommate have saved each others’ lives over and over again in very literal ways. We’ve done the same with our other trans friends and vice versa. I’m here because of the kindness and intentional community and care of other lgbtq people, and it instilled a fundamental appreciation for others, and an awareness of what it meant to make room for other people in your life

If I’m going down, I’m going defiantly and lovingly and with a fundamental respect for other human beings in my heart. That’s where my hope lies
