i really hope in season 3 they show the wilderness and where she came from and if she is a deity, or if it’s just the wild. and i know we’ve already seen lottie and nat be the instruments for the wilderness but i wanna know where the wilderness comes from and who it’s controlled by - if it is controlled by any one person, because we all know that the wilderness is its own self and doesn’t go by rule of the current society. i want to know when it started, the wilderness. was it in the 1600s? was the wilderness just a girl, cast out from her village because she was accused of being a witch and began her own family of wild animals whom she befriended then killed to appease whatever was happening in her mind? did it start when christ was born? did the wilderness become so against him that she created her own remedies, to get what you want you must shed blood? did she try to tell everyone about her remedies, though they wouldn’t listen, sacrificing herself and becoming her own godlike being to prove them wrong? or did it exist before the beginning of the universe? the wilderness has always just wanted a friend, but when people come to her, they don’t play by her rules. they don’t listen to her, so she kills them or makes them suffer. if that is the case, and the wilderness has existed for so long, having the yellowjackets become the first people to listen to her must be a great deal, following the group into adulthood because they’re the only beings she can believe will continue trusting her and listening to her. i believe that the wilderness wants de-modernisation and that’s why she makes the group do what they do, that’s why, in adulthood, the group all feels like they’re missing something because they don’t have that raw, animalistic version of themselves that the wilderness helped them become without society and rules.

or again the wilderness could’ve just been themselves.

So I actually had an idea for a fic that is inspired by this by @cyrwrites and I got all excited so here it is. Also, warning, I haven’t watched Danny Phantom or any Batman stuff at all so… all of my information comes from random fics…

Danny is on the run from the Fentons/GIW with Jazz, with the vivisection scar. They go to Gotham. He looks remarkably similar to Jason when he died (in my mind, it’s been a couple of years since then and the Batfam haven’t found out he’s alive (sorta) again)

One of the Batfam sees him, and because none of them can be normal, they just casually kidnap him. They are even more convinced it’s Jason because they mistake the vivisection scar for an autopsy scar, plus Danny just gives off death vibes idk + Jason’s grave is, in fact, empty. Perhaps they also come to the misconception that this is Jason from the past, or he’s been de-aged and that’s why the doesn’t recognize them. They need to re-earn his trust, and they can’t just let him go, now can they. That’d be dangerous. And sad, they just need to wait, he’ll come around eventually and remember them/bond the same way as before.

Meanwhile on Danny’s end, Danny is weakened enough from the Fentons he can’t really use his powers. He tries to tell them he isn’t whoever this Jason guy is but they don’t believe him. He tries to escape, but without his powers he gets caught and they bring him back ‘for his safety’. Danny is upset and getting more traumatized by the minute. Jazz must be worried sick (she is. She is freaking out).

I also like the idea that Jazz full on becomes a rogue to more effectively and efficiently look for her baby brother. Like, a really powerful rogue. Because the Batfam kidnapped her brother. The Batfam can have a realization about this later.

Anyway, real Jason eventually comes back after maybe a month or two of Danny being kidnapped and after a lot of confusion and Danny being like ‘oh thank god does this mean you’ll let me go home now? Please my sister is probably worried sick’, Jason ends up pissed that they kidnapped a random, already traumatized kid, and refused to let him go. Jason takes the kid back to a safe house and gets the full story. Jazz is contacted, and they get a nice reunion. At this point maybe the Batfam show up and have their realization that this is the new rogue they’ve been having trouble with. They also realize that they Fucked Up.

they try to make amends, but Danny and Jazz are having none of it. Jason supports them. (maybe Jason and Jazz get together? I imagine them both to be like twenty ish at this point, and Danny like 15)

Anyway that’s my idea, I haven’t really ever done creative writing that wasn’t for a school project, but I like this so maybe I’ll actually try and write it.

Okay, getting my ego out of the way, I’m incredibly hot and you should 50000% get piercings. I have never regretted my stake bites a day I’ve had them except the one time I did regret them cause it turns out if you have a food allergy you didn’t know about you find out very quickly when your lip swells up.

But I got you!! I can’t say this’ll be perfect advice cause a lot of the time I have no idea what I’m doing but let’s go. Advice under the cut.

OKAY. Welcome to the party. A lot of this advice will be scattered tips and tricks but we got this.

Fishnets

Fishnets are a magical, versatile thing, cheap, and a punk staple. Especially if your clothes have rips or tears they can show through, but just in general they tend to add a lot of visual interest.

They can be prone to tearing but if you’re going for a punk/emo aesthetic this isn’t a bad thing

In addition, if you layer two pairs of fishnets it makes REALLY cool patterns. You can experiment with the size of the fishnets you’re layering to get different visual effects.

Want a fishnet shirt? Just tear the crotch of your fishnets and cut holes in the ‘foot’ portion where you want your fingers to pop out. It WILL look sick but you may need to pin it to your pants if you don’t want em to look like a crop top.

Accessorizing!

You’ll have to excuse the mess in these, but accessories REALLY can make the fit. Collars, chains, cool bags, etc, they all do somethin’ for the outfit.

In addition, it helps to have a statement piece. In this case, it’s my massive fuck all boots but-

It can also be the jacket in a fit like this. You want something that draws the eye.

Balancing your fits

You’ve heard the “big shirt little pants vs big pants little shirt’ thing, but a lot of it is creating a visual balance between your top and bottom half. For an outfit to be visually pleasing, it helps to balance the points of interest. In this case, the first fit was super top heavy and I didn’t have my big fuckall boots to draw the eyes back down, so I swapped my pants and switched the top layer and collar to match

Color schemes!

So you may have noticed I don’t stray a ton from black/white/red when it comes to my more alt fits. That’s cause buying clothes and statement pieces is WAY easier if you’re constraining yourself to a color pallet that suits you. It does limit ya, but especially when you thrift a ton of your clothes you can save some money. I personally limit myself to two color schemes with some overlap. (And a few exceptions)

(Blue, Yellow, (Red,) Black, White)

It lets me change up the aesthetic if I want without needing a COMPLETELY separate closet.

Finally, I’m using this as an excuse to show off any outfits that I couldn’t fit cause they look cool as hell but you can see how it all applies

I really enjoy the hc that after Stanley leaves the parable he goes and gets a job that requires manual labor or as a florist. I feel like he would want to detach himself from office work as much as possible, even if there’s som layer of attachment due to familiarity. I really love this small doodle because I managed to successfully use more interesting lighting which is something I’m trying to improve.

They make love out there in the field, before David has to leave for good. It’s fast and messy, with both of their emotions running so high. Yonatan comes with the taste of David’s tears on his tongue.

He stays lying on his back in the grass until the sound of crunching footsteps finally fades away, and only realizes later that, in their utter desperation for each other, he’d forgotten to take any of the usual precautions. But by then, it’s far too late.

Four months later, he goes to see David at Horesh. Even in the dim light of the hideout, David looks at him oddly.

“Something’s different about you,” he muses, and Yonatan has to stop himself from reflexively clutching his belly. He’s not showing yet, not really, but he can feel the life growing inside him.

He expects David to approach him then, to explore the planes of his body as he’s done countless times before. He readies himself to tell David the truth, to finally feel the weight of this secret lift off his shoulders. But David comes no closer. He eyes him for another moment and then turns away, pulling out a large map of the Judean territories as he updates Yonatan on his group’s movements over the last few months.

It’s better this way, Yonatan decides. David has enough to worry about at the moment without concerning himself with Yonatan’s health, and there’s no guarantee that the baby will make it to term anyways: it’s not as if Yonatan is willing – or able – to confine himself to bedrest for nine months. When David returns to Giveah, Yonatan can reevaluate the situation. Most likely Yonatan will never need to reveal his mistake; best case scenario, David will have an heir to secure his lineage as he ascends to the throne.

Years later, as Yonatan lies bleeding out under the stars, his last thought is to wish he’d gotten the chance to tell David about their son.
