Dynasty [prologue]
Dragon Dreamer
The dream had come to her for many years. A strange man, hair as dark as the night sky and eyes becoming of someone with Valyrian heritage. He always appeared dressed in finery, as if he were highborn like herself. Colors of blood and the scales of a dragon seemed to consistently adorn him. A falling star whistled at his back, casting a golden hue amongst the darkened sky. He was always whispering like a madman, though she could never hear the sacred verbiage, like her ears were filled with a thick putrid liquid. Sometimes she feared it to be blood.
Her slumber would always be cut short by a heavy grief. One that she could not explain, even to herself, and one that would wake her without fail. On many occasions, her ladies had discovered her soaked with tears, eyes bloody red as if she had been sobbing for hours.
She was ashamed to admit that the vision of this ghost haunted her even in her waking hours, though she held his presence in the farthest corners of her mind. She had heard of dragon dreamers among her kin, whispers in quiet chambers and murmurings within her familial court. Daenys Targaryen herself had foretold the Doom of Valyria with a dream, and thus had saved their house. Dragon dreamers were a powerful and ancient thing; she did not consider herself to be one.
The dream of the dark haired man was nothing but a strange nightmare.

it has been literal years since I've written a fanfiction, but art just simply cannot do it for me this time. This will not be some sort of self insert love story fanfic-- sorry folks, you wont find aemond x OC or Jacaerys x OC or even Rhaenicent here. There are hundreds of tumblr and AO3 and Fanfic.net ones. anyways, please be patient with me. I try and make my writing creative and enjoyable but-- tbh? im just doing this for myself so I have more content for my girl. Maybe if youre lucky ill post accompanying art of things that happen in chapters 🤞

right down the line: zuko x firebender!reader
You grew up close to the Royal Family due to your father's position as a General, but you ran away from home after the agni kai against your best friend. Now, you're just trying to do your part in ending the 100-year war.
hellooo so this is my first official published fic that i will keep up! hopefully you guys like it, let me know! this is set in book 1 ep 10 in the Jet episode! i do not own Avatar or these characters! okayy enjoyyy >.<
Part 2
⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙
All I can see for miles is shades of crimson and orange. We’re so close to home, it almost feels like I’ve returned.
I’m standing in the trees near Jet and The Duke, peering down at twenty Fire Nation soldiers and their camp, waiting for the right moment to attack. The plan was to keep an eye out and alert Jet if anything could be of use to us. I hold onto my swords in anticipation.
“We’ve been here all morning, what if we don’t get a shot?” The Duke asked.
“Relax, we will.” Jet replied in his infamous cool manner. He was so sure we would score big this time and have one of the greatest victories thus far. I didn’t see the point, it seemed like your average solider platoon. But maybe he was right. He hasn’t let me down yet.
I met Jet when I was 13 and freshly ran away from home. I had left everything that could resemble Fire Nation in my room and took only my closest valuables. With one bag over my shoulder and a week of struggling to find food, the cool leader crossed my path in a forest not too far from where we’re standing now.
“Are you lost?” Jet questioned me.
“No, I’m hungry.” It was true. I hadn’t eaten for so long because I didn’t know how to find food. My family’s position in society meant I usually had servants dressing me, brushing my hair, and finding my food for me. It’s not something that crossed my mind when I left in a rageful fury.
“What’s your name?” He replied.
“Y/N.”
“You’re a kid. Don’t you have parents to feed you?”
“Don’t you?”
And that was that. I had passed Jet’s mysterious test and he invited me into his little world of lost children who were strong, brave, and alone. I was lucky to have found them when I did.
Three years later, the same cool leader has me standing in the trees like a predator waiting to catch its prey. That’s when I hear it. The voice of a teenage boy.
I crouch down to focus on the noise and see the rustling in the bushes near the Fire Nation camp we’re getting ready to bust. A boy in blue appears, looking backwards to his friends in an annoyed tone. Just as I spot him, he spots the soldiers in black and red.
“This is it.” I tell Jet. He nods and whistles his command to the Freedom Fighters, sending us off to our mission.
I come down from the trees and land on my feet, quickly inspecting my environment. Taking out two of my swords, I spot the boy in blue preparing an attack for a Fire Nation soldier who will surely beat him. His stance is all wrong, I can’t believe he’s actually attempting this.
I use both of my swords and dig them into the ground, launching my feet forward and off the dirt floor, kicking the soldier in the abdomen and out of balance. He falls over with the wind knocked out of him.
“Hey! He was mine!” The boy in blue exasperated.
“No, he wasn’t.” I snarked at him. This is the fun part of being with the Freedom Fighters, winning.
After a few minutes, the soldiers scurry off like rats when the lights turn on. They go in every direction, disappearing into the autumn-colored forest.
“We did it!” I celebrate. For a moment, I catch my breath and put my swords back into their sheaths.
The trio of strangers gather together and start walking toward us.
“Who are you guys?” The youngest with a blue arrow on his head spoke first.
“I’m Jet, and these are my Freedom Fighters.” The leader introduces the members one by one, leaving me for last. “And this is Y/N. She’s my right-hand.” He graces.
I wave at the trio, taking them in as they process the new information they’ve just been handed. It’s a Water Tribe pair with another boy in orange. His clothes were strange, when was the last time someone wore Air Nomad clothes like his? I wondered. I had briefly seen the girl bend water, but it was impossible for the boy to be an air bender. The Fire Nation made sure of that.
“Let’s loot!” Jet interrupts my thoughts, and the rebels cheer in agreement. Looting time.
I focus on a tent to begin raiding the soldiers' bags and belongings. If we’re lucky, the group can score something to help us in our efforts—a map, a plan, a supply shipment—anything to take the empire down.
As I go through my first bag, the boy in blue enters the tent. I look up at his glare and stare him right in the eye.
He crosses his arms and gloats, “Just so you know, I could have handled that. But thanks for your help.”
“Didn’t look like that from where I was standing.” I shrugged and shifted my focus back onto the bag. I flip it upside down so the contents come spilling out.
“And where were you standing by the way? You guys came out of nowhere!” Clearly, he wasn’t going to let my swoop-in go.
“We were in the trees, been staking out all morning.” Nothing of importance in the first bag so I move onto the next one, opening the top and letting the soldier’s belongings fall on the floor for me to inspect. “Until you,” I point at his chest, “came along and made the perfect distraction. It should be me thanking you.”
A balled-up messenger hawk message comes out of the bag. I can tell from its design that it comes from the Admiral, lucky me. Ignoring the boy in front of me, I open the letter and read the writing.
The Avatar has returned. From now on, any information must be reported to Admiral Zhao. The Banished Prince is to be ignored.
The Banished Prince. My finger grazes the ink.
“One day she’s going to try and overthrow me, I swear.” Zuko confesses as he lunges forward with his sword. I dodge his attempt at an offense and strike back.
“Even if she does, you and I can take her.” I reply. My mind is focused on the sparring round, but Zuko seems to be somewhere else. He’s not taking any of my bait to back him into a corner.
“You’d help me fight?” His demeaner softens and I know this is the moment I can use to win. I use the gymnastics I was forced to learn to my advantage and gain the higher ground on a bench near the turtle duck pond. His sword falls out of his hand as I send my blade toward him, making sure to not seriously hurt him. Zuko holds his hands up in defeat. I win this round.
“Duh, it’s kind of my throne now too. I’ve grown fond of it.” I hold one hand to my heart, feigning admiration for the title.
The Prince and I grew up together. Learning fire-bending at the same academy, attending snobby important society gatherings, and now practicing sword-fighting at the Royal Palace’s turtle duck pond. We became halves of one whole. If the cosmic forces upon us gave me the mind, it gave Zuko the heart. And together, we felt complete.
“One day I’ll have to be Fire Lord.” He solemnly said.
“One day. But for now, just focus on beating me! Round 4?”
I take a deep breath in and push the memory away. Time makes it easy. The boy in blue waiting for my response to the messenger hawk letter makes it even easier.
“It’s nothing, just old information.” I crumble the paper into a ball once again and throw it with the rest of the useless items I’ve gone through so far. “Do you want to come to the hideout?” I change the subject.
“You guys have a hideout?” His eyes widen in amusement.
“Yes, but maybe I should know your name before I let you go up there.”
“It’s Sokka.” He answers. “And you?”
“Y/N.” I hold my hand out so he can shake it, and he does. When his hand touches mine, a pit forms in my gut. I got the feeling I’d be knowing him for a long time. “Well, Sokka, follow me.”

I.e. Bella not suffering any consequences: what I find even more annoying is that Meyer makes such a big stink about the books being about choice but only BELLA gets any big choices. Every other member of the Cullens was forcefully turned, either entirely against their will (Carlisle, Jasper) or to save their life (Alice, Edward, Emmett, Esme, Rose). Every shifter is forcefully turned due to the vampires; not even Jacob chose it in the end and actively fought against it. Imprinting is forced. Don't get me started on Leah. And even if Nessie wants Jacob in her life, the book heavily implies that she wouldn't have a choice either way. Also, she has to stay with her family because she'll never look old enough, isn't as invulnerable, etc. Literally only Bella has any choice over life-changing decisions (even Edward claims that he never had a choice in loving Bella). Bella chooses Edward (actively endangering herself and others), chooses to be a vampire (supposedly an evil, immoral life endangering others), chooses to give birth to Nessie (possibly an inhuman killing machine while endangering herself and others), and so on. And instead of ANY consequences AT ALL for what appear to be TERRIBLE choices (based on every single book except the back half of BD), she's ALSO the only one who gets pretty much everything she ever wanted while everyone else has to live with whatever crumbs of happiness they can eke out. It's infuriating if you care about anyone AT ALL other than Bella.
Totally agree! It's always been amusing to me that SM says the books are about choice. The apple being offered on the cover presents a choice: do you take it or not? Do you eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Do you take the apple from the old woman who might be a witch or evil queen in disguise? And the original name of the book was "Forks;" obviously for the setting but also for the idea of forks in the road: which path you will choose?
But Bella's the only one with any real choices here. She actually has a lot more agency than a lot of people give her credit for. SHE chose to move to Forks. SHE chose to pursue a relationship with Edward. SHE chose the reckless actions in New Moon. SHE chose to ask Edward to sit out the fight. SHE chose to become a vampire. SHE chose to keep the pregnancy. She certainly suffers hardships, but they almost all come from choices SHE made for herself.
And the negative effects of those choices are temporary or unimportant to her specifically. Her scars from James are healed in the transformation; Emily's face is still scarred. The toll her pregnancy took on her body is erased in the transformation, but Esme is still 'rounded and soft' from her pregnancy, and Alice is 'thin in the extreme' from her malnourishment. Bella doesn't even burn for the full three days, only two! There's even a line where Edward literally says something like, "Renesmee's eyes are exactly your color, so that wasn't lost after all." She gets to keep Jacob literally forever (he has no choice) and she gets to keep Charlie when no one else got to keep their human families in their lives. Irina dies, but Bella doesn't know her so it doesn't matter.
I fully understand the main character is the main character for a reason; because they're special, because their journey is unique, etc. But this is also the reason I tend to find main characters annoying. This is not a Bella problem or an SM problem but a me problem. I feel similarly about Harry Potter and Katniss Everdeen as I do about Bella Swan. I like ensembles; I like when there are lots of narrators, or when there's no obvious 'main' character. And if there is a main character, dollars to donuts they aren't my favorite; I will 100% always sympathize more with the secondary characters and find them more interesting.
Bella gets to choose what she wants for her life and it all works out for her. Good for her! Genuinely! But it's a glaring contrast to the stories of virtually all the supporting characters and, to me at least, less interesting. Forever disappointed Bella being a newborn was such a non-event. I was looking forward to it for three and a half books and she just basically carries on her life like nothing has changed. Meh. The supporting characters not having many choices and making the best of things is personally more interesting to me.

I have three kinks for you to rate! (Was gonna be two, then thought a bit more…whoops!)
1. POV Gaining: Whether someone enjoys getting a glimpse at what their future might hold, or getting into perspective at just what a particular character deals with daily and how they see themselves, I think POV gaining’s pretty fun! Seeing how their belly slowly (or rapidly!) takes up their view, seeing their struggles and contrast, at huuuge sizes seeing the chins, cheeks even, the sweat, sandbag chest, jackets of arm-lard, and little else…and that’s not even mentioning what it’d look like while they dress, eat, or travel…imagine them in tiny car, being fed or at lunch, seeing them put on a shirt that seems to fit, but they can’t see how they spill out from behind, or the extra inch revealed as at the bottom…
2. Generational/Family Gaining: Pretty common trope with you ;) Seeing large families, similar in build or attitude, but a difference in height, definitely in weight, the contrast there, along with the ‘normalcy’ of becoming another bed bound family member in a very thick, very wide family tree…of course, this had to start somewhere, some lovely couple that loved a little too much, and brought that love into families for generations, and those traditions spread out to every single member, no one untouched by the genes, and only recursive, since no one’ll change them, hell, probably add another one!
3. Rapid Gaining: For you in particular, I mean it in the sense of rapid over time, in the way that someone might gain 50 pounds in a month, then 100 over half a month, 200 over a year, then skipping numbers and breaking three milestones of a broken couch, outgrown cars, and needing more than one seats traveling, all in the span of a week or weekend…
Alright, lemme see!
No | rather not | I dunno | I guess | Sure | Yes | FUCK yes | Oh god you don’t even know |
I love playing with perspectives cause there's so much to write about on a topic like weight gain, and the way you describe it is SOOO good. I don't often find myself imagining POV scenarios cause Im more of a feeder than a feedee, but it's always fun to sometimes try to get into the eyes of a certain character and see how they live with such obesity through their view. I would actually love to implement that but it's hard to make POV art in such a way, but It always lives in a hidden corner of my mind
2. No | rather not | I dunno | I guess | Sure | Yes | FUCK yes | Oh god you don’t even know |
LOOOVE dis one, you already know how it's pretty much the whole premise of my OC Anthony with the tradition of his family to get super fat. Biggest thing I love about weight gain is when it almost seems unavoidable and the environment they're in just pushes them to continue growing more obese, looooooove
3. No | rather not | I dunno | I guess | Sure | Yes | FUCK yes | Oh god you don’t even know |
I know fast weight gain is a common kink, but unfortunately it's not my thing, whether it be instant weight gain or over the span of just some days, I don't really feel anything with it. The slow, realistic buildup and eventual spiraling weight over the span of months is much more my thing cause there's time to develop the consequences and changes in the life of the character because of it and I find that much more attractive than simply the physical growth of the character

Here's a little something I've wanted to do for a while! This was made mostly out of curiosity, as a way to speculate on what colour genetics could've influenced the look of characters we've heard of but were never shown (Elli's dad, Bet and Stratos's sister, why Spheria is not yellow like Sunny, etc)
Some of these look pretty empty, so I will revisit this in the future to add more members to each family tree. These trees are also sprinkled with some oc's and my own headcanons.
Here are a few notes/reasonings/headcanons I have for each family:
Spheros:
My headcanon for the Spheros siblings' father is that his name is Exo Spheros, and his colours were quite dark. Both Exo and Rotunda came from families that were very mixed, and as a result, their children came in a variety of colours. Exo's side tends to have darker colours, while Rotunda's side has lighter colours.
Exo has bright red eyes, while Rotunda has green eyes. The clash of these colours caused a range of muted browns and reds in their children's eyes.
Rotunda's hair was white in the show, most likely from old age, therefore I made it so that her natural hair colour is the same as her daughter's hair colour, in order for it to make a bit more sense as to how her granddaughter (Elliptica) ended up with pink hair.
Partial Albinism is a dormant and recessive gene that runs in Rotunda's side of the family. It's a mutation where only the skin of the individual is affected: their skin lacks pigment and turns out white, while their hair and eye colour retain pigment and inherit a mix of their parents' colours. This mutation has been dormant throughout Rotunda's family line, until it showed its face in Betrayus' colours. Since Rotunda's side of the family has lighter colours, the overall lack of pigmentation has a link with this gene.
My headcanon name for Stratos and Betrayus' sister is Radia Spheros. Along with Betrayus, she has very little resemblance to either parent, precisely because of their mixed heritage. There is a little bit of dark red on Exo's side of the family, and this combined with Rotunda's lighter colours made Radia come out as a muted pink. Radia is the oldest, followed by Stratos and then Betrayus.
Unironically, all the Spheros' siblings have hair that is styled in a similar way to their father's.
Headcanon name for Elli's father is Ellipton (Ellip for short). Unlike Radia's side of the family, Ellip's family had a long line of consistent purples and blues, so these genes are stronger. Therefore, Elli looks a lot more like her father than her mother, and this is also why Elli was named after him.
Pac:
Headcanon that the reason why Spheria is not yellow like Sunny is because Spheria and Sunny are only half-sisters.
Sunny's father had an affair with a red woman before he married Sunny's mother, thus Spheria was born a little bit before Sunny. The affair was a point of conflict between Sunny's parents for a while, but eventually things settled down when Sunny was born.
Unfortunately, at some point Spheria's mother passed away and she was placed in her father's care, effectively making Spheria part of Sunny's side of the family. This is also why Spheria still has an accent; she grew up in a different state far away before she moved in with her father and his family.
Despite not having the same mother, Sunny and Spheria still grew up together and came to see each other as full sisters instead of half.
Zac's side of the family are pure yellows, while Sunny's side of the family have a tiny bit of mixing in their earlier ancestry, but the yellow genes are still strong enough for Sunny to have all of the powers and qualities that comes with being a Yellow One.
Cylindria:
The pink highlights in Cyli's hair are 100% natural and not dyed. This is thanks to a common gene that runs in her family, in which streaks of colours are present in their hair. It mostly comes from Starchild's side of the family, as seen in Granny's case. Elliptica has this gene too, inherited from her father's side of the family.
We never saw Moondog's real eye colours because he wears shades/custom glasses, so I gave him light purple eyes.
Moondog's side of the family is also a little bit more mixed, compared to Starchild's family who has been more consistently pink. Therefore Cyli inherited her black hair from her father and her pink skin, eyes, and hair streak gene from her mother.
Headcanon that Granny's real name is Windsong, and "Granny" is just a nickname that she's more fond of.
Additional headcanon that Granny became the first person in the family to think that their naming traditions have gotten a little silly, and so she strongly advocated for giving her granddaughter a "normal" name as opposed to a hippie name, which is how they ended up with Cylindria (her parents wanted to name her Moonchild instead. Cyli was eternally grateful that Granny stepped in to suggest a different name lol).
Spiral:
We literally know nothing about what Spiral's family looks like, other than a vague hint in one of the Chrsitmas episodes. So for now both his parents are red.
Though I am playing with the idea of giving Spiral a step-father, so that might be added in the future.
General Pacworlder colour genetics:
The more a certain colour is present in a family line, the stronger that colour gene is. For example, if the father's line is pure red, and he has offspring with a blue mother with a mixed lineage, then their children have a 75% higher chance of being red rather than blue or mixed.
Overall, mixed families usually produce offspring with stronger genes because of their diverse genetics. The only downside to this is that their mono-colour genes are weakened. The more a particular colour is present in a family-line, the more likely that offspring may get weaker genes in other areas outside of colour because of the lack of diverse breeding. This is seen in old medieval times when royal families married their cousins in order to keep the bloodline "pure" but it resulted in poor health among the descendants. Aside from this example, it is still entirely possible to have a healthy, pure colour bloodline without inbreeding, because Pacworlders with all kinds of colours are broadly populated across the planet.
More to be added in the future :)

Drv3 family trees (or my best attempt)(minus the Monokubs because I’m not doing that to myself)
Yeahhhh, guess who got bored
I mainly just used find on page to find out so this may be not 100% accurate (but if you think I’m gonna read all ftes, date tickets, utdp and drs events, you’re wrong)
anyways, here’s the key
Tumblr media
Circle means Female, Square means Male and a question mark means idk if they are related or not (or something idk I just explain when it comes up)
all family trees are under cut cuz it’s long
Tumblr media
First things first, Shuichi’s tree was probably the easiest to make for me since all the info was in his ftes. The only thing that I struggled with was shuichi saying “my uncle and his wife” which is a very weird way to say it (like bud, you could’ve said aunt in law and at least have some people understand it. Maybe idk family trees make my head hurt) but oh well
Tumblr media
Then there’s Kaede! Her family tree is relatively simple but I also need to mention that if the character in question never mentions their family, I’m just going to assume that they have just 2 parents (in which I’m coining as the “normalcy law of assuming” I guess, I couldn’t think of a better name)
speaking of which…
Tumblr media
Tsumugi (I’m pretty sure) never mention any family members, no matter how much I search (and before you mention her love hotel event, I didn’t read any of the cast’s love hotel events for both my sanity and happiness) so I just assuming that she has 2 parents
Tumblr media
Remember when I said that I would explain the question mark?
well, here, it means that the mom may be not the same for all of children (at least in this scenario) (I mean rantaro did said most of his sisters are stepsisters, also yeah, the circle with 12 on represent his 12 sisters because I’m not putting all 12 of them in the image)
Tumblr media
Next one up,Tenko! Surprisingly, the normalcy law of assuming doesn’t apply to tenko, why?, because she mentions her parents in one of her ftes! (I don’t remember which one but I do know that she mentioned them) so yeah, just a small simple family tree
Tumblr media
Now for Himiko, unlike Tenko, Himiko never mentions her family (unless her master is her dad in which I- what.) while the Danganronpa wiki states that she has a mom, I (personally) couldn’t find any evidence of that at all so I’m not sure where in the world they found that information (I’m serious, where in the fuck she says this?!?!?!!?! Because its certainly not in her ftes, date tickets, utdp events or drs events, so where is it?!?!??!) (I’m going insane) so yeah
UPDATE: thanks to @reblogablename, I now know where Himiko mentions her mom, it’s in the first mass panic debate
Tumblr media
Uhh so according to my notes, Miu has parents but I don’t know where I found that information (like did I find it in her wiki page or ftes, or somewhere else completely? I’m not completely sure where but I’m gonna trust my notes here)
Tumblr media
To call Keebo’s family tree interesting could be a understatement, this is a line. Other than that, there’s not much to say about it, it’s just keeb and his professor/dad (also I want to mention that I’m pretty sure that Professor Idabashi is the only named family member in v3 which is odd but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
Tumblr media
Due to Kokichi being Kokichi, I don’t know if he has parents or not so I’m pulling the normalcy law of assuming card here
meanwhile the little question mark represents his older brother mentioned in his ftes, and since Kokichi lies, he might have a brother or not
Tumblr media
While Maki has not met her parents (if I remember correctly in the ftes), she must come from somewhere (also please ignore the weird writing in this section/ryoma’s section, I dead ass forgot about the both of them sorry)
Tumblr media
Ryoma does have parents, well dead parents but still parents
(I’m going insane)
Tumblr media
Korekiyo’s family tree, like Shuichi’s, was relatively easy to make, not much to mention here I think (other than the whole incest thing but I don’t want to think about it)
Tumblr media
Kaito,Kaito, Kaito, why were you the hardest person to write about (no seriously, why was it so hard?!??!) anyways, not much to say than kaito never talks about his parents so idk what happened to them
Tumblr media
We’re in the final stretch! Kirumi never mentions her family sooo to the normalcy law of assuming corner for you!
Tumblr media
Now for Gonta, while he does mention his family, he doesn’t specific any family members so another one in the normalcy law of assuming list
Tumblr media
And FINALLY, angie has the same thing as gonta where she mention her family, she doesn’t specified what family members she has so yet again, the normalcy law of assuming shows up
aaaaand thats everyone in drv3 (minus the Monokubs because of no) family trees, but feel free to correct me if anything is wrong cuz I know for a fact that I missed at least one thing (*cough**cough* Himiko *cough**cough* ) anyways enjoy :3

Dr Abirt Kravitz [Updated version]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello here is the long awaited reference to my 963 Rewrite named Dr Abirt Kravitz! [Here is the old version <- The fun facts from here hasn't changed and is still canon.]
She uses any pronouns! She's too old and overworked to give a shit how you refer to/perceive her.
He's O5-7 aka 'The Eternal'. He's been around for more than 3 centuries. A historian but also enjoys archaeology and linguistics. His responsibilities on the council are the Foundation's Housing system (due to his past as personnel director) as well as a slight hand in Foundation Educations.
I drew a lot of inspiration from Phosphophyllite in Houseki No Kuni / Land Of The Lustrous for my SCP-963 and also Abirt's concept in general. Something something Ship Of Theseus thing going on over there.
I'm also rewriting the entire family into the Kravitz family. The AU for them is called Recollection AU and you can look at Rec AU's lore here <- link to Toyhouse!
Abirt does have a tumblr rp blog called @seven-pink-glasses but the things on there aren't 100% canon (especially with the character interaction) but it does peek a lil into Abirt's daily life + shenanigans!
Also if you're interested in Abirt things, they're all tagged under #Abirt Kravitz. The AU this is from is #Recollection AU where non-Abirt stuff is at. #The Kravitz Family is for the entire family stuff
Texts from the first image under the cut:
Dr Abirt Kravitz || 'The Eternal'
O5 Council member (O5-7)
Genderfluid. Jewish Origin. Age unknown though is rumoured to be above 3 centuries. Varying appearance but is fond of jewelry. Word says they're immortal due to a cursed bloodline.
O5-7 plays a major role in personnel and housing, and a minor one in Foundation education. Big on mentoring too. Many personnel were handpicked and taught by her.
Most know him for his lack of formalities and fatherly tendencies but is also easily irritable and holds personnel to a high standard.
(Summarised from The Black Queen's report)
Scp-963 Description:
A teardrop-shaped gemstone made of amber approximately 3.5cm in length. Within it contains a piece of unidentified flora from The Land Where No Name Is Spoken .
Heals and regenerates any injuries by replacing flesh and bone with amber and resin. Foreign limbs introduced to him will be reconnected and transformed to its former state.
Sometimes the amber and tree resin in xer body hardens, causing mobility issues. Frequently switches mobility aids.

[Wings of Fire] L-N Dragon Character Headcanons
It's my birthday today so I decided to give a longer one. I have only just gotten through the M & Ns, so these might get slower from here on out.
Ls
Lagoon (L1) - Lagoon was always underwhelmed by her mother, Queen Monsoon. Monsoon was intimidating, but she was careful and didn't make many big political decisions. Even though she knew her son Albatross was an animus, she didn't have him use his magic for her because she knew of its danger, but Lagoon thought this was ridiculous. Lagoon challenged their mother when she was a young adult and ruled as queen for over 100 years, making her one of the longest-reigning SeaWing queens.
Lagoon (L2) - Lagoon is the younger sister of Whirlpool, although the two aren't close and rarely talk with each other. Lagoon often keeps to herself and tries to stay out of Coral's way when possible, but she likes cooking, so she eventually gets promoted to Queen Coral's Council.
Lappet - Lappet is just older than six years old, only having recently gotten his wings after flying to Pyrrhia. He and Glider are in a relationship, both having met on a school trip. He is the cousin of Morpho and a member of the SilkWing Assembly as the head of justice.
Liana - Liana is the older sister of Tamarin, although the two are not aware of this. She and Heliconia start dating after the events of The Hidden Kingdom. She is assigned a role on Glory's council as the Lead of Venom Training.
Linden - before the Tree Wars, Linden and Sequoia grew up alongside each other in the LeafWing Kingdom capital. Linden was destined to be the head of the LeafWing military while Sequoia was destined to be the queen. It was only a few decades after Sequoia became queen when the Tree Wars started and they had to live out those destinies. Linden and Sequoia were dating before the war started and dated throughout the war, but when they disagreed about hiding from the HiveWings, they broke up and went their separate ways. Linden still loved Sequoia dearly, and although she had eggs to ensure the PoisonWings kept leafspeak, she did not love the father.
Lionfish - Lionfish and Wharf were partners and Lionfish refused to go to the Night Kingdom without Wharf going along as well. After what happens with Darkstalker, Fathom tells the two of them that he and Indigo are going to live away from the SeaWings. Lionfish and Wharf were more understanding to Fathom than the rest of the tribe so they swore that they wouldn't tell Pearl about it and let them live isolated.
Listener - Listener and Morrowwatcher are cousins. Listener and Clearsight were dating for a while, but they broke up when Clearsight told her she was leaving for the lost continent because she couldn't stay near Darkstalker. Although sad, Listener managed and eventually, she and Whiteout started dating. Listener became an author who wrote about Clearsight and she would also help take care of dragonets.
Loris - decades ago before the NightWings started kidnapping RainWings, Loris had eggs with one of Grandeur's daughters. This was after Grandeur merged her eggs with the tribe's so it wasn't known that he is the father of a royal dragonet. Eventually, when Glory tries to trace the royal family, Loris is declared a prince and lives in one of the palaces for the extended family of the queen.
Lubber - Lubber and Grasshopper are in an arranged marriage that they both hate. Lubber is aroace and wishes she could have remained single so she could have focused on her job as a principal. After Jewel took over as Queen of the HiveWings, Lubber resumed her job as the Principal of Terrarium Academy.
Luna - Luna eventually broke up with Swordtail a few years after living in the LeafSilk Kingdom. For a short period of time, she and Moon dated, and separately, she and Lynx dated, but in both relationships, they found that the long distance was hard to handle. Eventually, Luna and Hazel started dating and are still together. Luna spends most of her time focusing on art and she becomes an art teacher at Chrysalis University.
Lynx - Lynx was close friends with Winter as dragonets and unknown to Winter, they were arranged to marry, but Lynx never wanted to marry him. She always had a secret crush on Snowfall, even when they were dragonets and before Snowfall became queen. She thought that she could never date Snowfall though due to her destiny as queen, which is why she was determined to get to the top of the rankings to show that she was worthy. After Snowfall became queen, Lynx actually dated Luna for a short period of time after the LeafSilk Kingdom was formed. After they broke up, she and Qibli dated for a little as well, before Qibli realized that he is aroace. Eventually after being put on Snowfall's council of trusted IceWings, the two started dating.
Ms
Magnificent - Magnificent is the daughter of Ex-Queen Splendor. Splendor was one of the queens who was in the rotation longest and although they did not know they were related, Magnificent also always wanted to be queen. She is also unknowingly the mother of Siamang. Before she became queen, Magnificent actually once met Princess Burn when she was near the outskirts of the Rainforest Kingdom. They bumped into each other in surprise but would meet every once in a while because Burn was fascinated by RainWing scales. Burn had a crush on her, but Magnificent was oblivious as Burn kept it a secret.
Magnolia - Magnolia is the daughter of the first LeafWing queen, Queen Lovegrass. She was elegant, graceful, and artistic. She loved art and established an art museum in the southern forest palace during her reign.
Malachite - while Malachite and Katydid dated each other as a disguise, Malachite was in love with Carabid. After Malachite got taken away by Wasp, she separated them as she realized how powerful Carabid’s venom was. They eventually reunited when they both moved to the LeafSilk Kingdom, but they didn’t start dating again.
Mandrake - Mandrake has no green scales, unlike most HiveWings. His scales are prominently brown with gold all over. In the LeafSilk Kingdom, he became a professor at Chrysalis University for environmental science. He and Blue eventually start dating.
Mango - Mango is the sister of Pineapple and Chameleon, and the mother of Coconut, although she only knows that she is related to Pineapple. To the surprise of almost every dragon who knows either of them, she and Greatness eventually become partners.
Mangrove - years after Glory becomes queen, Mangrove and Orchid have a dragonet together who they actually decide to raise. They were inspired to do this after taking in Coconut when he returned from Jade Mountain Academy. Coconut is like an adopted son to them and when they have a biological dragonet, the two are like brothers. Their dragonet is named Citrine. Mangrove is assigned a position on Glory's council as the Head of Food & Agriculture.
Manta - Manta was known for being calm and kind. A lot of SeaWings hoped that she would challenge her aunt and become queen, and Manta was planning to do this before the massacre. SeaWings from all over the kingdom considered her one of the most beautiful SeaWings.
Mantis - when Cochineal was still queen, she wished that Mantis would take her place as her heir since Mantis was the smartest. However, Mantis never cared much for the throne since they were more interested in science and literature. They wanted to read the Book of Clearsight and had high expectations of it, so Cochineal knew that Mantis would be disappointed with the truth. Mantis never knew that their mother wanted them to take the throne, so when Wasp did, Mantis just wanted their own Hive to control. Although they were academically intelligent, Mantis was socially ignorant, which is why they were neglectful toward the SilkWings in their Hive.
Maple - after Sunstreak's death, Clearsight married Maple and the two had dragonets. They only had six dragonets, so what happened with the HiveWings didn't happen with Clearsight's dragonets, but there are some remnants of Clearsight's genetics in present-day LeafWings in small traits. Clearsight's relationship with Maple was censored by the HiveWings and is largely unknown. It is only documented in some older books that some elderly LeafWings possess the only copies of.
Marsh - being at JMA has helped Marsh to overcome their anxiety and PTSD. They and Coconut become close friends and after several years, they become partners. When Coconut goes back to the Rainforest Kingdom, Marsh leaves to join him and helps with collecting fruit.
Mastermind - Mastermind eventually gets released from his quicksand prison by Glory on the condition that he helps the NightWings to become a better tribe. After the NightWings separate from the RainWings when Firefly is made queen, he helps to establish a library in their section of the rainforest, as well as helps to create a science lab for scientific studies. He eventually goes to JMA to help establish a science program and develops a relationship with Webs.
Mayfly - Mayfly's siblings all live in Possibility too, working different jobs and meeting up every once in a while. She eventually gets into a relationship with Snail, an ex-soldier under Queen Coral who was sent to Possibility as an ambassador.
Meerkat - Meerkat is the son of General Needle and General Sandstorm. He was born in the SandWing stronghold 7 years prior to meeting Qibli and Winter in Possibility. When he was a young dragonet, he ran away from the stronghold, afraid of war and fighting. He was taken in by the Enclave, an organization that operated to keep peace in Possibility during the war, like how the Outclaws did in the Scorpion Den. When Hailstorm returns to Possibility as an IceWing representative, the two meet and become friends. He and Hailstorm eventually start dating, both being polyamorous, as Hailstorm is also dating Eagle. Meerkat also eventually starts dating Squid after he is positioned in Possibility as a representative for the Talons of Peace.
Midge - Midge is the younger sister of Weevil and cousin of Hawker and Bombardier. Midge's parents are close-minded about SilkWings and LeafWings, but Midge wants to meet the other tribes and make friends. After she learns that Hawker and Bombardier moved to the LeafSilk Kingdom, she left home to live with her cousins and became friends with SilkWing and LeafWing dragonets at her school in the kingdom.
Mightyclaws - while at JMA, Mightyclaws has several run-ins with Ermine, being his clawmate. The two were quite hostile toward each other at first, but eventually became friends and started dating. After returning to the Rainforest Kingdom, Mightyclaws missed Ermine but was dedicated to helping build homes for the tribe. He promised the IceWing that he would return to the school after he was done.
Mindhealer - in the story, Mindhealer has a weak version of mind-reading, only being very intuitive about emotions, which is weaker than simply being an empath.
Mindreader - after she and Fearless graduate from JMA, they both move to Renewal to live near Bonecruncher, Mindreader's brother. Mindreader takes an interest in restoring the ancient museum and library while Fearless works as a general construction worker.
Mink - Mink eventually attends Jade Mountain Academy where she meets the other younger dragons seen in the series. She has a passion for sculpting and would create many ice statues that reside in the IceWing palace. In the future, she gets glasses.
Moccasin - Moccasin and her siblings were low-class hunters who lived along the Western border of the Mud Kingdom. She kept an extensive diary which was found not too long after she passed. It has since been preserved in the MudWing palace library with different segments of it being divided in different categories. Her entries were critical for studying the history of the MudWing tribe so several copies and excerpts from her diary are kept in schools or textbooks.
Monarch (AGttDW 1) - the first queen with the name Monarch ruled pretty early in SilkWing history. She was the 5th queen of the SilkWings. She was well known for establishing the Webs, the ancient SilkWing version of the Hives, and standardizing architecture. The Webs had many internal structures named after her, although she now is only remembered in history books due to the Webs being destroyed by the HiveWings.
Monarch (AGttDW 2) - the second queen with the name Monarch was the mother of Queen Silverwash. She was well known for being an advocate for advances in medicine. Under her reign, she helped to establish hospitals throughout the Webs and research into medicine and medical practices had increased funding.
Monarch (TLC) - Monarch was very young when her mother entrusted the throne to her. Diadem had difficulty dealing with Wasp and found it too stressful in her old age. Monarch offered to take the throne to help her, which is how she became queen. She and Sequoia had a short relationship between her becoming queen and Wasp starting the Tree Wars. Monarch is still alive, but her whereabouts are unknown.
Moonwatcher - after Firefly becomes Queen of the NightWings, Moonwatcher moves to the new NightWing Kingdom (now graduated from JMA) to become a teacher for NightWings with foresight and mind reading powers. She has acquired glasses by this point and she and Kinkajou are together living in the Night Kingdom. It was also discovered after Firefly became queen that Morrowseer was the brother of Battlewinner, making Moon a princess (and Firefly's second cousin). Because of this, Firefly considers her an important ally and advisor who specializes in education.
Moorhen - Moorhen is one of the longest reigning queens in current Pyrrhia. She has a specific interest in her kingdom's security, especially after the war. Far into the future, Moorhen will eventually die from natural causes and her niece will take the throne.
Moray - Moray was dating Tortoise before Coral killed her. This upset Moray, but she hid this as she was worried what Coral might do if she showed that she didn't believe in something Coral did. Moray's adoration for Coral is forced. She loves scrolls and her father got her the role she has on the council because he noticed this. Moray likes to work in the library. Her father pressures her to take the throne from Coral eventually, but Moray doesn't think she would be able to handle the throne after losing Tortoise.
Morpho - in the SilkWing Assembly, Morpho is in charge of defense. In the LeafSilk Kingdom, he eventually develops feelings for Carabid, which he grumbles over because he "hates" HiveWings. However, he likes to consider Carabid to be "different from other HiveWings".
Morrowseer - Morrowseer is the second brother of him, Battlewinner, Quickstrike, and their younger brother Nightmover. He and Battlewinner are so old that most NightWings don't even remember that they are related, especially since Battlewinner never liked to call him a prince, rather her advisor. Before he and Secretkeeper met, he had a dragonet with another NightWing, his son being Vengeance. He was never very attached to Vengeance and by the time he was killed, Morrowseer didn't care much about it.
Morrowwatcher - Morrowwatcher was quite shy, having trouble making friends with other dragonets at school. He was comfortable interacting with Listener and Clearsight, but didn't have many other friends. Morrowwatcher and Vision were dating.
Ns
Narwhal - Narwhal and Glacier used to be very close as dragonets due to being the closest in age of their siblings. When he was a young adult, his aunt Snowcap still ruled as queen, not yet being challenged by his mother Azure. Snowcap was strict and very traditional. During this time, Narwhal and Hvitur, an IceWing low in the ranks who was visiting for school, fell in love. They tried to keep their relationship a secret, but Queen Snowcap found out and banished Hvitur from the kingdom. She swore Narwhal to secrecy about this relationship and she arranged his marriage to Tundra, a dragon high in the ranks, to keep an inter-class relationship from happening. Narwhal and Tundra never had romantic feelings for each other, just seeing their marriage as political.
Nautilus - Nautilus heard about the dragonet prophecy from a friend of his who is a traveling merchant. Before the war and the Talons of Peace were created, he worked near the Deep palace. He and Snapper were in a marriage for convenience purposes and she had just had Squid's egg when he decided to leave to help with the prophecy. Snapper thought he was crazy so even when he asked her to join him, she said no and he didn't have a hard time leaving her. While in the Sea Kingdom, he had a crush on Abalone.
Needle - Needle was a remarkable general during Oasis's reign as queen and stayed with Burn during the war. Sandstorm was a bit younger than her so she was his predecessor. Burn wanted Needle to have dragonets, believing that her dragonet would be powerful due to Needle's strength. She specifically wanted Needle to have a dragonet with Sandstorm, seeing them as the strongest SandWings in her army. Needle wasn't fond of this idea, never desiring to have dragonets or a relationship, but she did it to please Burn. Her dragonet was Meerkat, who never ended up fighting in Burn's army.
Nettle - unlike Mandrake, Nettle got to know her mother, Wisteria, before her death. Nettle was always bitter because she missed her mom. While in Sanctuary, she had a small crush on Riptide which surprised her, never seeing herself having feelings for a dragon from another tribe, but the feelings didn't stick around long. She eventually started dating Cobra Lily and Bryony. In the LeafSilk Kingdom, she is a member of the LeafWing council which helps Queen Sequoia make decisions for the tribe.
Newt - Newt wants to be a doctor after he graduates from JMA. He will eventually do an apprenticeship under Mayfly before returning to the Mud Kingdom to practice medicine in the village his sibs live in.

ShadowClan Family Tree: Diagnosis
In preparation for the FINAL Family Tree Redux for ShadowClan, I've gone and mapped out the entire ShadowClan family tree as it exists in canon.
I've spoken about it before, but this tree is so bad that I cannot fix it. For my redux, I'm eschewing it completely. I'll show you why.
Tumblr media
[ID: The ShadowClan family tree. It is a rectangle. A single cat crosses the "missing generation line;" Rowanclaw. The 4 Families of ShadowClan have been color-coded in pink, blue, red, and green. Characters who are alive as of ASC Book 3: Shadow have been underlined. I have not included orphan warriors.]
Right off the bat, this tree is already unacceptably small. Slightly more than 100 cats have relatives, with almost half of them being orphan warriors without kits or parents. I will be listing them in just a bit.
But, even worse, this tiny Clan then had a bunch of cats who had multiple mates, accounting for MOST of the kits produced in the Forest Territory whose parents are known. Finding mates for the BRICK of cats is frustratingly difficult in a Clan that's already frighteningly low on members.
It was in a dire situation, but don't even worry about it! The worst part about the entire Forest Tree is that it gets thrown out between TPB and TNP. Like RiverClan, we have NO idea who the progenitors of the Four Families are. It is a completely blank canvas for you to pick and choose relations.
And speaking of the Four Families...
ShadowClan consists of FOUR bloodlines, all of them extremely closely related. For my Family Tree fixes, I rule that cats cannot share a basic (3 gens above) grandparent, and apply that to an extra generation when the grandparents are alive to connect in the great-grandparent.
You would need to CAREFULLY breed the next few generations to avoid tripping my rules with Snowbird. She has TEN LIVING IMMEDIATE DESCENDANTS.
And they completely killed the little branch off the Tawnyrowan Family. Crowfrost's contributions with Dawnpelt are extinct with the death of Strikestone and exile of Sleekwhisker. Not only are there only 4 bloodlines, each of the bloodlines is closely knit.
And, worse, the three Guardian Cats that Tigerheart brought back were plugged into the families that did not need them... aaaaaand Antfur was killed off unceremoniously.
It's bad, Todd.

Excerpt from this story from Hakai Magazine:
Francis “Bully” Mission Sr., president and founder of Mission Animal Control, is in a good mood when I meet him at a strip mall parking lot on the south side of the Hawaiian island of Kaua‘i. He and his son Levi have just found two “squeakers”—pigs no more than a few months old—in one of their traps, which means US $100 in their pockets and another satisfied customer. Property owners all over the island hire the duo to remove problem animals, and Bully has invited me to join him as he collects the new captives.
“We had a big mama yesterday and three juveniles,” he tells me as I climb into his pickup truck. “The population is unbelievable.”
Inside the cab, I notice what appears to be Old MacDonald’s entire farm glued to the dashboard: a plastic cat, a couple of horses, a cow, and three pigs. These are all species that humans have brought to the Hawaiian islands and that the Mission family is often hired to eliminate. Feral pigs, once denizens of the mountains with intermittent forays to lower elevations, have become regular raiders of lowland farms, upscale neighborhoods, and members-only golf courses. “Some of them look like you could put a saddle on them and ride them,” Bully says of the pigs he’s seen.
Pigs can now be found on six of Hawai‘i’s seven inhabited islands, and their impacts are especially profound on Kaua‘i, the lush “Garden Island,” which has so far retained much of its native character. Its mountains are home to 255 unique native plant species and 208 native birds, including 11 found nowhere else on Earth. As the pigs tear up vegetation, they encourage erosion and muddy the island’s drinking water supplies. Their wallows breed mosquitoes that spread avian malaria, contributing to 10 of Kaua‘i’s 16 native honeycreepers going extinct. They also spread the seeds of the strawberry guava tree in their dung, contributing to what one group of researchers has referred to as an “invasional meltdown.” The guava shades out native plants and smothers them in its leaves.
The pigs’ presence in the populated lowlands has grown over the last couple of decades. Sally Rizzo, who was running an organic farm during my visit, told me that the pigs broke through her fence this year and “shit all over our baby greens.” On the roads, drivers frequently have to swerve to avoid pigs, leading to several hundred accidents every year. Beaches aren’t safe either. Three years ago, a tusked boar made headlines when it went for a swim and thrashed a surfer in the lineup off Oahu, another island. On oceanside bluffs, meanwhile, the pigs are preying on the chicks of migratory seabirds, so completely trashing their burrow nests that the birds never return to them again.
Despite the damage that feral pigs are causing, you can’t just shoot them on sight as you can in many other US states. In Texas, home to more than one-third of the seven million feral pigs in the United States, hunters and landowners target them from helicopters or with poison baits. On Hawai‘i, however, pigs occupy a more complicated position, as their populations are managed for both recreation and subsistence. Along with West Virginia, Hawai‘i is one of two states with bag limits on public land. This means that while conservationists are trying to reduce or eliminate pig populations inside protected areas, the Hawai‘i Division of Forestry and Wildlife manages the animal as a limited resource just about everywhere else.

I know we're all sad about the closing of plumtree, but have you per chance heard of Sims Legacy Hub? It's a legacy tree app for the sims made by a couple community members! it launched officially maybe 2 days ago? (as of 3/12)
Hey there - I have heard of Sims Legacy Hub. It's a great idea, unfortunately I'm not in a position to use a paid service right now though... I've instead moved the Langston Family Tree to Family Echo, which was very painstaking to get done with 100+ characters so I'm probably just going to have them hang out there for now!

⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙
It wasn’t the throbbing headache pulsing in my right temple from my lack of sleep. It wasn’t the danger looming over our shoulders in the form of a Fire Nation metal machine. It wasn’t the shouts and trembles of earth from Katara and Toph’s adjustment to a fifth member on the team. It wasn’t the fact that Appa had crash-landed and some tree branches from the speed of dropping cut my bicep. No, it was not any of those things that finally drove me over the edge.
It was what Aang said when he was inevitably driven to madness because of our current situation.
It’s one of those rare moments that Sokka is standing outside of a group outburst.
“You’re not carrying your own weight, Appa is,” the young-air bender begins, “We didn’t have trouble flying when it was just the three of us!” My sigh punctuates his confession.
Without another moment passing us by, Toph grabs her cross-body bag and heads toward any direction that would take her the furthest from here.
Sokka steps in her way as a last effort for resolution. Oh, how it must feel to stand outside of the tension, holding the ability to remain neutral. “Wait!” He tries. She moves him in one swift kick and the dirt from under him grazes him to the side.
I’m right behind her.
“Where are you going?” The boy in blue questions me. His begging blue eyes glaring into mine.
I shrug it off. “With Toph! The three of you will be fine.”
Did they all think this about us—Aang, Katara, and Sokka about Toph and I: newcomers to the group of children burdened with saving the world? I push it aside with the rest of the questions I don’t want the answer to. It didn’t matter anyways. I’d never leave them for good.
The dirt crunches under my boots. A forged path in the spring forest leading us further and further away from the commotion. It’s just me and the earth-bender walking side-by-side with no plan in place.
It had only been a week since her official admission to the group but we both quickly registered that we’d prefer the walk to be silent. After the last two days, peace and quiet were preferred. Mandatory. A requirement.
You could feel the breeze as we begin the warmer time of the year. Flowers blooming, baby birds learning the tunes of their being, and Appa shedding. I can’t help but breathe in and out as I let the changing of the seasons cleanse me.
Toph speaks first. “Were they like that when you joined?”
I briefly think about what I’d been up to since I met them. Aang shared how he learned he was the Avatar before going in the ice. I told them where I’m really from and what I can do, something I’d never done with anyone outside of Zuko. I ran into Zuko at the Northern Water Tribe, and he kicked me in the ribs and caused a rift between Sokka and I. Over it. Unfortunately, Aang met Azula. And now I’m here. Walking away from it all with a child I met over a week ago.
I’m also just a stranger she met a week ago, so at least it goes both ways.
“I’m not sure.” Which was true. Was it Aang’s crankiness from the sleep deprivation or did the harsh words have some truth behind them? He could’ve been defending Appa. Still. I couldn’t help but let it burn.
As we continue our walk in silence agreement with each other, she stops her movements. Her pause halts my footsteps as I watch her use her senses. She confirms any suspicion and stomps her foot down in the direction of a boulder that’s clearly hiding something behind it. A line forms as rock bends toward the culprit like a lop-eared rabbit digging underground. Suddenly, I hear a thud and a groan.
Both of us quickly make our way to investigate and we’re confronted with an old man lying on his stomach, rubbing his lower back from Toph’s damage.
“That really hurt my bottom.” The familiar voice hits my ears—It can only be one person.
Iroh.
He grunts as he stands up on his two feet to face us. The old General’s not wearing any of the classic royal clothing he wore the last time I saw him. The moss-colored robe contrasts the memories of crimson I have. But most of all, he has cut off his ponytail.
The rumors are true, then. Azula was in fact not lying to me. Zuko abandoned his post, and she’s most likely tasked with catching him. Somewhere along the lines our paths crossed and the big metal machine that’s been chasing us no longer remains a mystery.
The dots connecting cause a smile to escape me. It always comes back to him, doesn’t it? In some way, in some form, his presence in my life is inescapable. Almost as if the universe is pushing us together, but I don’t know why. Am I stuck with having to figure that part out too?
“Y/N.” Iroh greets me. “Who is your friend?”
“Who are you?” She asks, he’s the intruder—not the other way around.
Everything in me would like to run in the other direction, but I remember Iroh protecting the moon spirit over the Fire Nation. He can be trusted, I believe. “It’s okay, Toph. Iroh is an old friend.”
He feigns offense that’s only obvious to Toph. “I’m not that old.”
“No!” I’m immediately wary of my next words. Even after all these years, I wouldn’t disrespect a General. It was instilled in me from the moment my father found out I could speak. “I meant like. I know him.” Nervously, I laugh and at my expense, the young earth-bender can trust this old man we bumped into in the forest.
“Here is your tea.” The three of us are sitting around a small fire warming up a tea pot. Three handle-less cups are placed and ready to be filled.  Iroh grabs the kettle, and I watch as he gracefully pours us our share of tea. “You’ve separated from your group?” Politely, he breaks the quiet.
Toph remains silent and the responsibility of answering the question falls on me. “We… got into a disagreement. To say the least.” I take a sip from the wooden cup, and it tastes as good as springtime feels.
He couldn’t help but question the lack of supervision in attendance. “Aren’t you a little too young to be traveling alone?”
“Aren’t you a little too old?” This wins Toph a laugh from the former General.
“Perhaps I am.” His humble reply softens the cloud looming on top of us. It seemed to calm us down: the tea and the view of the endless landscape. Tall trees with mountains in the distance. The sun beginning to rise over the east casting the skies with lilac and blush pink.
The young earth-bender goes on. “I know—I look like I can’t handle being by myself.”
This prompts a shared glance between Iroh and I, a secret conversation to affirm if this was what the fight was about. I tilt my head a bit to the left to say yes. He understands.
“I wasn’t thinking that.” Solemnly, he replies.
All day, Toph had spent defending herself against Katara so much that it had cast a lens over the conversation. Immediately, she’s defensive. A true earth-bender, mighty and as stubborn as they come. She needed to be if she was to survive this world. “You wouldn’t even let me pour my own cup of tea.” She argues.
Iroh’s earnest intentions paint his face. “I did it because I wanted to, nothing else.” One hand holding his warm tea and the other over his chest.
“People always assume I can’t take care of myself. But I do it and I do it by myself.” She states, confident as ever.
“You sound like my nephew.” The mention of him causes my heart to drop. I can’t tell if it’s racing or resting at the pit of my stomach. “He thinks you need to always do things on your own without anyone’s support.” I keep my eyes glued to the ground praying Iroh isn’t looking at me.
I’ve managed to keep him away from my thoughts when the sun shines. Training, hunting, gathering, and constantly moving place to place keeps me distracted. Sokka helps too. But when the light goes away and the moon comes up, he comes and visits me in my dreams.
When I’m dreaming, my heart can’t feel the difference between reality and fiction. The yearning fights to come out of my body in my sleep. I wake up feeling the ache of missing him in my bones.
And the dream itself is always the same. I find myself with our current selves, gone rogue from the Fire Nation, but we’re not fighting. We are walking side-by-side in some earth town, neither of us wearing our home colors. He’s smiling and we’re laughing. The conversation I can never make out, but it gives me what I need: a false replica of what we used to be and how I used to feel. At this point I can feel tears wanting to escape my eyes, both in my dream and in real life.
I wake up with the sun softly kissing the sky purple and the cycle begins again.
It wasn’t realistic, but I had been hoping the Northern Water Tribe would be it. I’d never see him again.
Iroh continues. “There is nothing wrong with letting people help you, you know.” Toph’s shoulders drop as she begins to calm down from a two-day fight. The mention of Zuko doing nothing to her, she would have no way of knowing who he is.
The question I never thought I’d ask rests at my tongue. I struggle to say it out loud in proximity to other people where someone might hear me. “Where is… Zuko?”
In honor of the shared truths, Iroh confides in us. “I’ve been tracking him.”
“Is he lost?” Toph asks.
“Sort of.” I put the cup down, wanting to stick to every word. “His life has recently changed and he’s going through very difficult things. He doesn’t know who he is, and he went away to figure it out. By himself.”
It’s almost hard to buy: Zuko all alone out there. He’s never needed to feed himself one day in his entire life, he’s always had people who would remember and do it for him. What would he do? Wander around without speaking to anyone? No, he’ll meet someone and maybe they can teach him something.
From what his uncle is telling me, he’s going to need it.
Zuko.
Changing from empathetic to merciless to empathetic again?
“Now, you’re following him.” Toph’s speaks for both of us.
Iroh sighs. “He doesn’t want to be around anyone right now. But if he needs me, I’ll be there.”
The last three years at sea must have shown Iroh something about Zuko that’s worth protecting. He’s looking past the space his nephew has put between himself and everyone else.
“He’s very lucky.” The young earth-bender comforts the old man with her words. “Even if he doesn’t know it.”
By now, the argument with Katara seemed so little. Aang’s words were fading in the distance. The metal doom machine chasing it remained large and now that I knew it was Azula, I had to get back to tell them.
Toph stands and I take this as the ending cue to our impromptu tea stop. “Thank you.” She tells him.
“My pleasure. Sharing tea and bottled-up emotions are one of life’s gifts.”
“I meant for what you said. It helped with my… disagreement from before.” Toph hooks her bag over her shoulder and motions for me to follow her. I’m on my feet with nothing but my swords with me.
Iroh has always been as wise as a winged lemur. He knows what to say and when to say it. Hopefully, one of these days it can get through to his nephew.
“Thanks, Iroh.” I don’t tell him for what specifically, but I think he knows. The small update on my old friend to let me know he’s safe. What’s going through Zuko’s head would have to be something I ask him personally about.
Before we begin our journey back, Toph leaves Iroh with some wisdom of her own. “Maybe you should tell your nephew that you need him, too.”
The old town is desolate, dry, and arid. It’s a single strip with abandoned buildings scattered all around. There seems to be no civilians around. It’s perfect for Azula.
The three of us, Toph, Iroh, and I found our way to this empty shell of a village. Toph sensed multiple people with different directions depending on who you want to find. We’ve decided she’ll go look for Sokka and Katara and I’ll go with Iroh to find the royal siblings. “You’ll be fine by yourself?” I double-check with her before going.
“Do you even have to ask?” She gloats. “There!” Toph points us in the general area we need to go toward, and we go our separate ways, better adjusted than before to fight this fight.
As the old man and I step closer and closer to one of the empty wooden homes, we find Zuko passed out on the ground. We slightly jog to him, reaching him before Azula distracts us.
His ponytail is gone too and he’s already grown some hair back. I’ve never seen him like this, I can’t take my eyes away. Zuko looks as if he is sleeping and if I squint, I can see my friend and not just his rage.
Iroh stands over his nephew as he wakes up. I wonder what he’ll first see, me or his uncle.
“Y/N?” He grunts. Whoever knocked him out must’ve did it good.
“Get up.” Iroh sternly tells him, almost like an order. He’s not going to let him go down now.
The old General holds his hand out for Zuko to grab onto and the prince gets up on his feet.
Without a second thought, my body reacts first to being in close proximity with him once again. I get into my fight stance, unsure of his next moves. Our eyes meet and I make sure there is no sign of nostalgia in my glare. I’m angry. “Don’t wanna fight?” I tell him.
He doesn’t get in a defense position. Zuko just stands there, processing the consequences of his actions. “No.”
“You did the last time I saw you.” I make sure to add every drop of bitterness in my words.
“That was—” He clears his throat and holds his hands up, “Look, remember what we said when we were younger?”
Where is he going with this? “I’m not following.”
Clear as day, he states. “Fine isn’t fine.”
“Azula always lies.” I finish for him. When we were younger, we made up a quick phrase to help us with his younger sister’s alarming behavior. Well, to help him with her. Zuko wants to believe his family, he wants to give them a chance no matter how much they lie to him or hurt him. In the Fire Nation, a trait like this can only be used against you.
It seemed like a childhood rhyme you forget about, but I guess he didn’t. And now, it’s come in handy. A quick way to explain our current battle.
“We can’t let her get him.” He pleads.
“So, you can?”
“I don’t know.” It was the first indication of a glitch in his unwavering loyalty toward his father. Not a yes, not a no.
He’s finding himself. Iroh’s words run through my mind. He’s choosing patience when it comes to Zuko and for now, just now, I have no reason to doubt it. We must stop Azula. Even if he tried something, I don’t think Iroh would let him. And that’s enough to calm me down.
I lower my hands in surrender and nod. “Fine.”
Zuko’s eyes are digging into mine, desperately trying to find me but I’m not letting him.
I practice this all the time—in my dreams. Zuko and I are on the same side once again, but the sun is glaring at me and I know I where I am. I know our past means nothing here.
This is reality, where me and him aren’t friends anymore.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
1. How many works do you have on Ao3? 143! Wow, how did that happen?
2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 1,611,020 words. Oh. That's how that happened.
3. What fandoms do you write for? Predominantly Avatar: The Legend of Korra, with a few Avatar: The Last Airbender and the odd crossover for funsies.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
AWOL - An LOK season two rewrite where General Iroh defies President Raiko and goes with Asami Sato on a secret mission to aid the Southern Water Tribe. Irosami.
Severance - A twisted soulmate AU where General Iroh dies in the Battle of Yue Bay and sticks around to haunt Asami Sato. Irosami.
The Mango Tree - The last days of Mai's life as told through her family members as she gives them one final gift.
Glass - A sequel to AWOL where Asami and Iroh get caught up in a lot of intrigue leading up to a new civil war. Irosami.
Smoke - My Equalist!Asami enemies to lovers AU. You guessed it, Irosami.
5. Do you respond to comments? I do! I try to respond to every comment if I can.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Without a doubt, Endgame, a story where Asami and Hiroshi's battle at the end of season one goes differently. I usually write happy endings. This isn't it.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? The 142 other fics? Lol, most of my fics have happy endings. I'm particularly partial to the ending of Glass though.
8. Do you get hate on fics? Less than I used to. I think the fandom has moved on. 100% of the hate I've gotten has been from people who don't like the ship I write.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do. Not a lot. It's not particularly sexy, either. I write awkward characters in love and the smut usually reflects that.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? Very very rarely. I think the only true crossover I have (where characters from two fandoms interact) is Asami Sato and the Goblet of Fire where Asami is a muggle student at Hogwarts. I still think it's cute but my brain doesn't do crossovers well.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Someone recently asked about this. I hope they do it.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes! I've co-written a few fics with @ideklolwat.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship? Oh gosh I just don't know I have no idea what I could ever
Tumblr media
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? No. I'm determined to finish everything.
16. What are your writing strengths? Practice? I spend a lot of time writing so there's a lot of it. I like to think I learn something.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? Oh gosh, everything else. Characters moving through space. Proofreading. Plots. Endings. Kisses.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I've rarely had the occasion to do this since everyone in Avatar seems to speak the same language.
19. First fandom you wrote for? Avatar: Legend of Korra
20. Favourite fic you’ve written? There's no way I can pick a favorite! I don't even think I can pick a top five. I'm my primary audience so all my fics are for me.

Fandom: Tolkien
CW: Some gn!reader towards the end!
A/N: Requested by @a-world-of-whimsy-5 as part of my 100 Followers Milestone Event! Thank you, my beloved! Tyelko is my sweet sweet baby boi and my comfort character. I just love him sm frfr !!! <3 thank you for the request! I hope these are sufficient :)
Back to Main Masterlist | Tolkien Masterlist | 100 Followers Masterlist
Tumblr media
❀ I think he's a lot more understanding than he lets on - depending on the person
❀ He loves the living void out of his brothers and cousins, especially his parents, though his relationship with his atar is pretty rough at times
❀ He's the only one allowed to tease his brothers. Even pranks, he might let his cousins in on the prank but generally speaking, pranks do NOT go well when done by others.
❀ And he's not afraid of beating the living shit out of someone for it
❀ Tyelko is a big cuddler. He LOVES physical touch and physical attention. His hand will always be on someone whether protectively or drunkenly (bc, yes, this hound loves a good drink and a good time)
❀ His favourite cuddles are admittedly with Húan. The big ball of fluff is like a bed, a pillow, and a blanket all in one. They can usually be found napping in the shade of a big tree or in the sun by the window if indoors
❀ He loves plants and animals. He'll sometimes collect acorns and other nuts to hide for the squirrels that might need some extra help.
❀ I hc that he works with plants a lot more than other members of his family. He has an herb garden he loves tending to near his hunting cabin, which isn't actually that far from his family's estate.
❀ He loves making herb bundles. He'll hang them in doorways to help make his hunting cabin or his chambers in the family house smell better while also adding an aesthetic charm to the space. He also uses them as like smudge sticks / smoke bundles for cleansing his indoor spaces
❀ Loves picking bouquets of flowers for his ammë (and eventually his partner)
❀ He really loves the outdoors - a known fact - and he tries to bring in as much as he can. The forest is his home, but he can't ALWAYS be outside for whatever reason so he brings a lot of nature inside. Lots of flower pots, trailing vines, rock collection, sticks, feathers, furs he might keep from his hunts, etc. He just loves it so much
❀ Definitely the type of dude that likes to sit in the rain or sit next to an open window while it's raining
❀ He's not known for his musical talents, but I think he does play a couple of instruments and he does sing. He knows a lot of campfire songs and knows a lot of spooky stories too. 10/10 camping partner

Some domestic hc:
❀ Will definitely come into the bathroom to have a conversation with you while you're trying to pee, or while you're trying to relax in a warm bath. Will also use the excuse of styling or brushing his hair in the mirror, too. You promptly scream and kick him out if he tries to do that while you're going #2 though
❀ He can read. It may have taken him longer to learn than his brothers, but he CAN and he'll read books or short stories occasionally when the feeling calls. Definitely reads a lot more once you come around though. He wants you to think he's smart and well-read. He loves listening to you read to him, but will sometimes indulge you and read to you as well.
❀ If you're having a hard time falling asleep, he might read to you, or tell you a comforting story. He'll gently trace your facial features or rub a little lavender oil on your temples to help you fall asleep as well.
❀ He actually really loves drinking tea with you by the hearth. You could sit in comfortable silence or speak quietly about your days. Maybe he'll give you a back rub (though that might lead to other things...)
❀ If you're struggling with your anxieties or insecurities, he's got you. You will never ever doubt for even a millisecond that he would dismiss or make fun of your feelings. He can always sense when you're feeling a little off, and can feel when you're about to have an attack. He loves the outdoors for this reason - it's quieter and there's no one there to poke and prod at you. It's just you and the forest.
❀ He'll pull you into a firm hug, breathing in your scent, which calms him just as much as it calms you
❀ He enjoys your company, even if you're mad at each other for one reason or another. He doesn't like how quickly relationships move traditionally as he feels like he wants to get to know you, enjoy you and who you are and what you enjoy, and really take his time doing so. It might take a little while before he asks for your hand in marriage, but he'll get there eventually when you both feel ready for it
❀ On a similar note, it takes him a while to confess his love for you. He's very open in the fact that he likes you and that he enjoys your company (and that no one else is allowed to have you), but love is... different. It's stronger. It's more vulnerable. It's scary. He was very nervous of saying it the first couple of times.
❀ When he's feeling soft and cuddly, he'll whisper praises in your ears or against your skin. He just loves you so much. He thinks you're smart and beautiful, and he adores you even more if you like similar things as him.
❀ Man blushes and almost looks like Carnistir if you were to ever give him a drawing or painting with him as your muse. Doesn't matter how bad the drawing or painting is. It's the fact that you thought he looked pretty enough or that you admired him enough that you drew his features on paper/canvas. He gets so flustered, beet red, and... quiet. Honestly you've never seem him so quiet and it makes you VERY nervous. Did he just have a heart attack? Does he hate the picture? WHAT IS GOING THROUGH HIS HEAD???
❀ (Don't worry, he loves the fuck out of it)
❀ Same reaction if you write a poem for him jsyk

The ancients
Tumblr media
The ancients were an advanced civilization. They were highly intelligent and possessed great magical power, and their influence spread across many dimensions for thousands of years.
They had great faith in the power of love, and the passion of some became the stuff of legends. 1,500 years before the events of Super Paper Mario, a particular group of Ancient sages created the Light Prognosticus to counteract the grim prophesies of the Dark Prognosticus (whether this book was written by an Ancient as well is unknown); they also constructed Flipside, and saw to the distribution of the Pure Hearts across the land, believing that the power of love would be the only way to save the universe from the destruction foretold in the Dark Prognosticus.
Among them, there were 4 sages, who made all the plans to prevent the heart of chaos from destroying all the worlds. They are:
Tumblr media
Merlimbis
This gentle and loving sage is said to have created the Pure Hearts... She is a direct ancestor of the fourtune-teller Merluvlee and the charmer Merlee..."
Merlimbis, who is described by Tippi as "gentle and loving", was one of the four sages among the Tribe of Ancients. She is thought to have created the Pure Hearts, and therefore the Purity Heart. She is never directly met, only viewed in a stained glass window in Mirror Hall, which reveals that she looked very similar to Merluvlee and Merlee, both of whom are direct descendents of Merlimbis according to Tippi and Tiptron.
Tumblr media
Merlight
"He had great knowledge of all the worlds, and is said to have designed Flipside... He is a distant ancestor of Merlon, who still has many of his books at home."
Merlight is revealed by Tippi to have been quite knowledgeable in the nature of dimensions/worlds, and used this knowledge in the design of Flipside. He is distantly related to Merlon, who looks identical to him and apparently possesses a large amount of the books Merlight left behind.
Tumblr media
Merloo
(A/N): What's with putting "Mer" at the beginning of the names?
"This sage was very wise and is even said to have written the Light Prognosticus... He was also a great magician who could control dimensions..."
According to Tippi, Merloo was very wise in his time and is even thought to be the author of the Light Prognosticus (although authorship is also credited to Merlumina). In the Japanese script, he is mentioned as having future vision, although this is unmentioned in the English localization for reasons unknown. He has the appearance of a mustache-less, green-robed character, but while the other sages bear resemblance to the "Shaman" characters encountered in the game, Merloo bears only a passing resemblance to Merlon and Nolrem. However, Merloo is said to be a powerful, dimension-controlling magician, similarly to Dimentio and to the "Flip Wizard" Bestovius, a descendent of the Ancients (and possibly Merloo) who gives Mario the ability to flip into the third dimension
(A/N): I kind of have a theory about this, which involves a family tree. I'll post it in a next part, so stay tuned!
Tumblr media
Merlumina
The member of this group of sages that we have the most knowledge of.
The wisest of the sages, she was a leader of her people... She was also very passionate, inspiring dozens of legends of her romantic adventures..." According to Garson, their romances threatened to destroy the world more than once...
She was told to protect the Pure Heart in Yold Ruins and await the hero of legend. 1,500 years later, her ghost still waited for the hero to arrive. She is the only member of the sages to be met by Mario and his friends in-game. She is credited with writing the Light Prognosticus by Merlon, although Merloo was also said to be the author.
In fact, some more that belonged to this tribe are mentioned, the ones that are most worth analyzing are:
Merlumina's sister brought the purple Pure Heart to Sammer's Kingdom and fell in love with the king. They had 100 children together, providing the origin of the Duel of 100, and making her the ancestor of the encountered in the game.
The inventor of the Pixls was a human member of the Tribe of Ancients, as was his daughter by extension, who died and had her spirit transformed into the Pixl Queen. The Ancient magician who created those Pixls also had a son whom he believed had perished along with his wife. However, the son survived, and may be the ancestor of Count Bleck.
The Ancients hid the Pure Hearts in various worlds to stop eventual destruction. Then the Ancients scattered to various world to pass the rest of their days. Most of them were wise and kind like Merlumina. And like Merlumina, many of them would totally lose their cool when they fell in love. But it was this very passion that let them build the vessels of love, the Pure Hearts...
The Ancients traveled to many worlds to entrust people with Pure Hearts. It was to keep them safe from destruction or misuse by those with evil hearts. The Pure Hearts were drawn by their own power toward those strong with love. The Ancients used this trait to find suitable guardians in each world. And a few romances also began as a result of these little journeys... Many of the Ancients who found guardians fell in love with those they met. And so they lived their days happily in the world they'd visited out of duty. This is how the legend of the hero was passed down to future generations...
Before concluding, I would like to show you a story that Garson told, and that few know, see:
So yeah, those Ancients were passionate and romantic... Did I already tell you that? Even Merlon, their descendant, is wild for love, you know... Why, he had Quite a thing for Saffron the cook. He went to her cooking shop of hers every day and he wooed her constantly. He finally broke down and confessed his love to her for her... And here's what she said: 'If you can finish an entire serving of my Saffron Special Galactic Meal, I'll date you.' ...And this is one of the biggest, most filling dishes anyone's ever seen, mind you. But he dug right in. According to spectators, he finished all but a sprig of parsley left on the plate. Just then, some poor girl appeared in town who was severely injured. (I think that everyone already imagines who is she). Merlon had to help her, so Saffron let him suspend the challenge.
I don't know what happened to that girl next... But then Merlon became engrossed in his studies of him, and he hasn't wooed since. Maybe he'll get back to it when the world is peaceful and safe again.
Tumblr media
You didn't know, right?
And that would be all my research on The tribe of the ancients. If anyone wants to theorize about it, feel free to do so, I will publish the most interesting theory in a next part. Bye!

✨G’day, mate! It’s ya buddy, HEX anon again!✨
Thank you for your amazin’ reply to my previous message. Am I right to believe that Silrah being (like) a married couple is your headcanon as well as how you view their relationship? I kind of put two questions in one but got one answer for those, so I’m not entirely sure I understood that correctly 😅.
Now, I got some new questions for ya:
Could you tell me your top 3 in fic genres?
Would you prefer a fic with just Farah and Saul, or could I potentially add some side characters? If I can, are there any you wouldn't want in there?
What are your feelings about Farah’s nap? Are you a “fixing it with a resurrection” gal, or a “she’s been alive all this time” gal?
How do you think Christmas is celebrated in the Other World? Is it still called Christmas? And which member of our beloved Silrah pair would be most likely to act like a Scrooge? Or would neither of them?
Please be as elaborate as you'd like, I’m here to get to know you and figure out what would be the best present for you, so I need all the information I can get! Give me aaaaall the brain rot, don’t hold back 😀
Just for fun: Tea or coffee? Fairy lights or candles? Paper book or ebook?
See ya! Yeehaw! 🤠
I see someone is checking the event channel on discord. Blink twice if you're currently online :D
Yes. you're right. I mean I also did give one answer to two questions so I'd say I definitely see their relationship in the show as something like a soulmate bond (ugh this is so cheesy but whatever) and my headcanon would be that while they're not married, they basically have been behaving like a married couple for the last 30 or so years. They themselves probably don't even know if they're married or not because you know it's been so long and who knows what they signed when they got drunk at the campfire together? They certainly don't.
My top 3 are: (no particular order btw, I don't have a favourite child)
Enemies to Lovers babey whoohooo (is that a genre? I don't think so but I am also known for interpreting questions however the fuck I want so I'm sorry for misinterpreting your question to tell everyone how much I love this kind of fanfic lol)
AUs (the possibilities as well as the "I will love you in every life" gooooodness how beautiful is this? Am I right??)
Angst (but not the sad ending please don't kill anyone it's Christmas!!! however I'm always in for some drama and I'm 1000% certain Farah tried to hide all her severe injuries from Saul because there were more important matters according to her which resulted in Saul trying to gently tell her that a stab wound is in fact a matter of importance)
You can totally add however many side characters you want as long as it is not Dane (who the fuck is Dane anyway?)
Farah's nap... honestly I can do both, although I'd rather lean towards "She's been alive all along" because I refuse to believe in stupid/boring deaths. Also S2-Saul's non-reaction supports my theory
I know I know Christmas is a first-world holiday but what about mulled wine and fairy lights and christmas trees? So while I think they probably don't celebrate Christmas (or maybe became a thing some years ago) I always pictured the otherworld having some sort of winter solstice and new year's celebration with loads of cringe family dinners and gift-panicking and kissing under the mistletoe. What should I say, I'm a romantic. And speaking of romantics, I can picture Farah as an accidental Scrooge-Grinch but without the "messing up the holiday for everyone else" part. Of course our dear Saul would make it his mission to make her enjoy the days.
I hope my brain rot was helpful!
And:
Tea and coffee, depending on my mood and sometimes both at once
Fairy lights probably, mostly because I don't have to get a lighter for them but I want both on my Christmas tree! Because real candles are the real deal!
Paper books 100% except for when I'm travelling because that's when ebooks are more convenient.
Hasta the next time, HEX anon 😊☄️
