*NOTE* This reply is admittedly more just my thoughts and meant to share said thoughts with my own community on here rather than being intended as a direct response specifically to anon. I just think a lot of this can be applicable in a lot of situations, and so it's maybe worth saying. A lot of it comes down to a certain mentality that seeks drama constantly, especially on social media, which I frankly believe to be the most typical explanation for the reaction to my post yesterday; I suspect that the people who have been sending those anons are likely reading through the lens of a social schema wherein that sort of constant, petty drama is normalized. I'll elaborate a bit on this below.

I feel very strongly that I didn't make "wild accusations" when I referenced previous (documented) incidents. And as I alluded to in the post, I didn't make it to call her out/incite negativity against her; I made it with the intention of interacting with my followers/mutuals about my frustration at dealing with yet another instance in a pattern of behavior - especially when I had JUST logged on for practically the first time all week and that screenshot was the first thing I saw despite having no knowledge of any drama (idek what happened still lmao). I made it to get shit off my chest & engage with my tumblr pals about my experience with it, bc it was a whole shock, esp given I didn't even know there was any drama.

It seems like yall are not able to read and understand the purpose of the post. It wasn't for you, it wasn't intended to have some kind of #[url]isOverParty vibe, and wasn't even primarily about the specific things she's said and/or spread but rather a discussion of the type of behavior in general. I don't have any need to demonize her or convince ppl to "side" w me bc I don't have a side in this besides the I've Been Busy Touching Grass WTF Leave Me Alone side. Which, again, is why I don't care if yall believe me or don't, if yall search my blog or not, if yall are her best friend on earth or not.

Plus, I have a thing about not being super psyched to go to extra unnecessary effort to do a task for people who are actively doing me wrong or just engaging in behavior I find morally reprehensible regardless of context - and I especially don't feel particularly obligated to anyone who's been obnoxious/harassed me, especially on anon which I am extremely vocal about never ever using (except for like, deeply personal advice request type shit and the like) bc I think it's inherently devoid of integrity to rely on anonymity to engage in any negative social interaction. I have zero desire to put even the smallest amount of time and effort into doing a task I don't enjoy (as opposed to writing these, which I do enjoy in a sort of diary type of way) that the previously described sort of person is demanding of me but could do themselves, particularly when I did not at any point have any intention or desire to interact with said person or associates.

One of the earlier anons was rly focused on the fact that H "only" posted a side eyes emoji (this one: 👀) (anon wrote it "EYES" in all caps) in response to an anon containing fucked up lies ab me, and said I was "acting like H had been the one to make it all up." While she very much has done so in the past, you'll find that I have been using the term "spreading" rumors/lies, which does not mean inventing them yourself. She is doing that. If I got that anon ab any woman on here, never in a trillion years would I react that way. I find it gross to be seemingly jumping at any chance to start drama with someone, honesty and integrity (and often feminism, lbr) be damned. I'm far from the only one who feels this way about her behavior.

[1] I have never had sex with a man and have made this clear more than once before & never said otherwise. So the only reasons I can think of rn that any gyn on radblr could possibly have to accuse me of being into men (assuming it's not purely to instigate drama or try to upset me or something) would either be bc of a belief that real lesbians all agree with 100% of her takes OR bc of my trafficking history/porn of me existing online. I included this one for a couple reasons, one of which is that I've straight up seen it done here on radblr, I've seen a self-proclaimed radfem tell a lesbian trafficking survivor that she was "ruined" & other horrific shit; it was quite some time ago, but certainly stuck with me.

Carnal (Nines x Reader)

Darkness

This was all his doing. Everything was determined by him and if he desired you this way, then there you would stay until the end of your days if that's what he wished. And God, you knew deep within every fiber of your being that you would stay there if it meant satisfying him for even a fraction of a second.

He could have everything that constructed you, down to your dignity, and he would effortlessly take it with satisfaction dripping from his lips as he smiled.

He stood stoically, a god amongst men, intently analyzing the humans before him who he must’ve held with little regard. His LED alternated between blue and yellow as he slowly scanned each individual in the room, storing their information away for whatever reason he saw fit. Those eyes, frozen over with apathy, finally found their way to you-his new human partner.

You couldn’t possibly place why, CyberLife wouldn’t have assigned their prodigal son to just anybody. Perhaps his creators believed you could give him the highest rate of success in future cases? Highly doubtful, but in hindsight, you were content being left in ignorant bliss.

He was met with the same level of decency and warmth you showed to everyone regardless of what constructed their humanity, or lack thereof. You refused to be a product of an environment that only had room for bigotry and disdain towards all of android kind. This attitude had earned you more enemies than friends around the department, but you wouldn’t let that animosity stray you from your core beliefs.

That was your first mistake-introducing him to an unfamiliar kindness that caused his LED to flicker a stark red before returning to its calm blue state.

He regarded your act of camaraderie briefly, tilting his head slightly as his LED went amber for a moment. His gaze then moved to you and he locked hands with yours; whether it was to humor you or it was genuine is still lost on you.

Your smile widened at his reciprocation as you introduced yourself. You told him how excited you were to be working together, earning a few eye rolls from around the office. He just continued to stare at you, his face not giving away any hint of emotion.

An unexplainable chill wracked you, and just as a nervous laugh began to form in your throat his grip on you tightened, bordering on painful. You winced as he pulled you closer, his lips ghosting over the shell of your ear as he whispered,

“I’m very much looking forward to our partnership.”

Your body was aching for more, and you parted your lips to delicately touch your tongue to the pad of his thumb. Amused, he pushed it into your mouth, allowing you to suck on the digit lightly. After a moment, he let the artificial skin covering his hand retreat and you familiarized yourself with the taste that was uniquely him.

Feeling bold, you bit down on the smooth plastic just enough for it to resonate in his pain receptors. For a second he froze, and you gently dragged your teeth along his thumb before he withdrew his hand completely from your face.

How foolish of you to think that the deer could outmatch the wolf.

“I don’t think you’re in any position to do as you please, teacup.”

Teacup.

You recalled when he first called you that; the two of you had been working together for a couple of weeks and had been assigned to investigate a supposed red ice drug den. It was located in a condemned building on the outskirts of Detroit. The drive there had been silent, but a tense atmosphere hung heavy in the air.

Nines, as you had taken to calling him, was not one for idle chit-chat and only spoke to anyone when it proved to be beneficial. While you assumed that was just a protocol woven into his programming, he displayed a level of haughtiness that seemed to be outside of those zeroes and ones.

Maybe that’s part of his programming too, you thought as you let out a humorless chuckle. Nines glanced at you with those eyes you believed could freeze Hell over, and you blushed under his gaze. His LED blipped red, and just as quickly as it appeared, returned to blue-again. He informed you that the two of you had reached your destination and you acknowledged him with a stuttered thank you as he exited the car. Taking a few deep breaths you quickly followed suit and caught up with Nines, trotting alongside him.

While Nines was analyzing the scene and scanning for possible traces of thirium, you went off on your own to search for a lead.

The foundation was rotting, long forgotten by the city to be demolished and thus remained standing much to nature’s chagrin. You proceeded with caution, making your way forward in hopes of finding promising evidence. It had slipped your mind to ask Nines to check the structural integrity of the building before splitting up; any chance you got to escape from him you eagerly welcomed.

A loose ceiling beam had collapsed, bringing it and surrounding debris crashing down dangerously close to you. You let out a surprised yelp, instinctively jumping back and immediately meeting with Nines' chest.

You looked back at him, perplexed by his hold on you and his newfound lack of formalities. The look in his eyes, one that regarded you in a way you had never seen before, had your breath hitching suddenly. It could almost be associated with hunger, desire, need-emotions you never fathomed he could be capable of.

“T-teacup?” It was all you could muster as his hands slid down from your shoulders to your forearms, rubbing circles with his fingertips causing your skin to prickle at the sensation. He let out a low laugh as he gently turned you around, taking your chin in his hand.

A simple touch was enough to exude the power he held over you, and your second mistake came when you didn’t break from his hold. Instead you embraced it; the deer went to the wolf on her own volition.

A pointless endeavor, but Nines knew the extent of your tenacity and took pleasure in watching your attempts all the same. A hand found its way to your neck, slender fingers wrapping around it and applying enough pressure to cause your breaths to staccato.

His teeth nibbled your ear lobe before whispering, “I want all of your attention. Focus.”

A phrase that has slipped from your lips time and time again found its way out once more, “Yes sir,” you said between pants, arching your back as he traced a nipple idly. He hummed in satisfaction before giving the bud a sharp pinch, pulling a gasp from you at the heightened sensation.

You were desperate for more, for anything. Every touch, breath, kiss had your body singing and you prayed his generosity would continue.

But the only one who would answer those prayers was Nines himself; he wanted you on your knees, yes, but not for praying. He would have you fall to the floor begging before he even considered giving you what you wanted, what you absolutely craved.

This song and dance wasn’t new to you; your pride was lost long ago after countless times of falling prey to the hypnotic score he masterfully composed.

Nines was unpredictable, and the constant uncertainty of what he had in store for you made your blood burn. But everything he did was meticulously calculated, that much you knew, and he no doubt took advantage of his pre-constructing software that was intended for investigations. He resumed his place over you, and a sigh of content started to escape from your lips.

It quickly turned into a hitched breath as you felt the edge of a blade against the side of your neck, it’s cold bite making you still completely.

This-this was something new.

The unfamiliar sensation was met with a newfound realization of how truly in control Nines was. No one would ever be able to hold this much authority over you and he was more than aware of it. The way he could map out every single vein, dragging the knife’s point over them with precision, it was a warped sense of intimacy that had you reeling knowing only he could ever truly know you.

You were past the point of no return.

The cool steel found its way to the delicate skin of your hips-by then you were already shuddering and shallow breaths escaped you incessantly. The sheer intensity of not having any indication of your surroundings was going to throw you over the precipice of insanity soon, and he knew all that and more with just one simple scan of your body. He let out an amused huff as he traced circles lazily over your thighs, painfully close to your throbbing core.

“You seem troubled, what could possibly be the matter,” he asked nonchalantly, placing his free hand over your waist and you nearly moaned at the contact.

Your thoughts were hazy, clouded over with a building lust, and you pathetically tried to sputter out a response but to no avail. His patience was waning-albeit it slowly-and he graciously decided to reward you.

A slender finger found its way in between your legs and this time you couldn’t hold back a whimper for what could only be described as touch starved ecstasy. His deft fingers traced up and down your folds, his thumb resting on your clit with just enough pressure to make you wriggle beneath his touch.

“Perhaps this will placate your tension, teacup,” he murmured against your hip, his tongue tracing it as two fingertips lingered tantalizing close to your entrance. And your final push over the edge was when he wasted no time to delve into you up to the knuckle.

“Look at you,” he muttered, adding a third finger without missing a beat. His other hand had discarded the knife and gripped your hip with a bruising force as he continued to thrust into you, slowing his pace drastically.

You abandoned whatever little remained of your pride in that moment and begged for him to speed up once more, hoping your promises of “being a good girl” would entice him.

The comment wasn’t meant to be an offense to you, rather, he was commending himself on what he alone could do to you. This version of yourself that he could create and revel in-it was entirely his to own, to touch, to fuck. His predecessor prided himself on always accomplishing his mission, and to Nines, you were no exception to the claim.

He stilled within you, leaning in close enough that his lips brushed against yours. Barely a whisper, he demanded, “Tell me what you want.” And just like that the fog cleared; you could see the entrance to the wolf’s den within reach.

In perfect tandem you uttered your devotion back to him as you have done before-as you always do. “You.”

With one syllable, you would find yourself in rapture.

You welcomed it, succumbing completely to his unleashed passion that's only amplified as Nines pulled you back by your hair, exposing your unmarred neck to him. He continued to claim you, embellishing your skin with his bites that you would wear as a badge of honor.

With another yank on your hair, a sensation that teetered between pleasure and pain, he posed a question, “Whose are you?” He had heard the answer countless times, but your complete submission made him feel a sense of satisfaction that was above anything within his programming.

And again, you responded as he always accurately predicts you will.

Without hesitation he positioned himself between you again, one of your legs splayed out straight while he hoisted the other over his shoulder. Nines found his rightful place inside you once more and drove into you with a force that left you short of breath and with a beautiful array of colors blooming within the abyss of your blindfold.

”That’s right, you’re mine,” at this point, that was a statement of fact.

“You’re,” thrust, “my,” thrust, “teacup.”

That, however, was a belief that Nine’s had formed on his own-a deviation beyond predesignated code that forbade him from feelings such as connection. A flush of blue adorned his cheeks as he continued to lose himself within you, placing languid kisses to your inner calf.

“Y-yes,” was all you could say, broken and breathily, as the pressure in your core was reaching its breaking point, spreading through every inch of you.

You had completely surrendered yourself to the carnality of the wolf, sacrificing body and soul so both your desires could be satiated.

Sensing you were on the brink, Nines gave one more well calculated thrust that hit you perfectly, your orgasm surging through you like a rapid with your gluttony for pleasure fulfilled. You felt as if you were floating, a pleasant tingling sensation nipped at the tips of your fingers and toes as you gasped for air; you were once again reminded what continued to tempt the deer to the wolf.

As your shaking began to subside Nines released your leg, feeling heavier than iron as it fell to the bed with a gentle thud. You felt him lean over you, coming down to meet your lips in a chaste kiss; a soft gesture to commemorate yet another encounter and a promise of more to come.

He lingered for a second longer than usual before pulling back to look at you with those piercing eyes that consistently enamored you; behind them was a spell you weren’t sure you could ever break free from.

A realization came, and with that a weight that was too much of a burden to bear currently; it had taken root deep within your heart. The hold he had on you was developing into something you found yourself unable to say aloud, and perhaps you never could.

But as his eyes softened and he placed his palm to your cheek, you believed someday the deer could find the strength to tame the wolf.

1. If you had to change the pairing’s very first meeting, how would you change it?Well their first meeting was presumably years before the play started so idk. For this AU in particular though, maybe not the first meeting, but I’m picturing a young Edmund walking around court with a chip on her shoulder but secretly kind of desperate to find anyone she can who can relate to her and accept her in terms of her sexuality and everything she’s facing and Goneril like…knowing that but knowing that associating with her is only going to make it harder for both of them. So she probably tries to get the interactions with Edmund over with quickly but then the next time Gloucester comes to court Edmund’s been sent away and Goneril regrets not being able to do more.

 2. What song fits your pairing the most?I’m notoriously bad at finding songs but I still LOVE “The Tower” by Vienna Teng that you suggested for Edmund in this AU.

3. What is your favorite AU/prompt idea/trope for your pairing?This AU for sure, f!Edmund is so great and I didn’t know I needed that until we started discussing it. I love talking about them so much :) I’m also just a sucker for any AU where they both live and so does Regan and they can actually have a talk and sort out some of their insecurities and mayhaps be emotionally vulnerable.

4. Do you prefer canon ideas or do you have your own headcanons for them?I love canon in all its sexy disastrous glory, but when I’m in the mood for them actually being soft and finding love and comfort with each other, it’s gotta be headcanons. Besides the set-up of the girl AU most of my hcs about their relationship are either post-canon or things they were thinking during canon, but as far as their canon scenes together I don’t really change much.

5. Favorite canon moment of them?I think you said this was your fave too but it’s gotta be 4.2. “Ere long you are like to hear, if you dare venture in your own behalf, a mistress’ command” is just SO MUCH. Dom!Goneril and sub!Edmund is the stupid hill I will die on. That whole scene is just brimming with Power Dynamics and Goneril finally deciding to just let loose and take what she wants, actually embrace her sexuality without fear for the first time. And Edmund just feeling so desired and also actually having someone go after her for once and getting very swept up in the whole thing. That scene is incredibly good.

6. Least favorite canon moment of them?The duel. Which is weird cause I love that scene character-wise for both of them individually, but in terms of their relationship I find it devastating. Goneril having to watch Edmund get mortally wounded and realising this whole relationship that made her give up everything, made her kill her sister, is just crumbling before her eyes and she really is going to be all alone again. And then in realising that she leaves Edmund alone! Edmund who’s spent the whole play desperate for love and affection is just totally without it in her last moments! Fuck!!! Shakespeare why did you do this to me?

7. Favorite headcanon trope/idea? (Your own or someone else’s)Ok I joke but I am actually so into the idea of Goneril being the one who initiates the relationship/is more dominant/forward in general because I think it swaps so many of the expectations they’ve both had to face in such a good way. Goneril’s always had to present herself as this object of desire and reproduction for men, that was how her value was measured as a princess and a wife, and her own desire has always been taboo and tamped down, ESPECIALLY because it’s for women. Whereas Edmund’s considered a perverse bastard, of course her tastes are wrong and vulgar, but she’s supposed to be like her mother, not the real object of anyone’s affection for longer than it takes for them to sleep with her and be done. So Goneril getting to WANT and Edmund getting to FEEL WANTED is my favourite thing.

8. Least favorite headcanon trope/idea? I hate interpretations where Edmund is just using her and Regan for power and doesn’t actually have any emotional connection to them at all. I find it so weird cause if she just wanted to marry a princess Regan is right there! It’s clearly not just about that! It doesn’t have to be True Love or anything but the idea that they have zero feelings for each other is ridiculous. And on a less blatantly wrong note: portrayals where Edmund is the one doing all the seducing. Have y’all read 4.2?

9. Favorite aspect of them/their relationship dynamics?The mutual loneliness…the mutual rejection they’ve faced from their parents and the world…the mutual realisation that maybe they ARE worthy of love and happiness and can find it with each other….yeah.

10. Least favorite aspect of them/their relationship dynamics? (Can be headcanon)Edmund buddy you gotta STOP sleeping with two sisters at the same time. I know it’s about her feeling the need to hoard all the love she can get but it’s so bad hon, you’re hurting everyone involved. If you could just NOT do that you could actually maybe have a happy monogamous relationship??

11. If they aren’t a canon pairing, how would you get them together?I mean they’re kind of canon but them having a functional monogamous relationship is definitely NOT so. My go-to “fix-it” (by which I mean fixing the sad feelings of me, a villain-stanning dumbass) scenario is basically Gloucester escapes with Lear, so Cornwall never blinds him and never dies and Regan has no reason to go for Edmund. The sisters win the war but Albany’s conscience gets to him so he helps Lear and Cordelia get away and goes with them (and also Edgar and Gloucester probs) back to France. Cue a very messy divorce, but at the end of it Goneril’s in full “fuck everyone, I do what I want” mode and Regan’s 100% there for her, so Edmund gets to be her closest advisor and not-so-secret lover, and now that they’re not surrounded by people who treat them as second-class all the time they can actually like…feel secure and be in love.

12. If you had to take them and plunk them into another fandom, what fandom would that be? Why?Hmm I suppose another play where they could be a badass power couple with less interference and tragedy. Antonio and Sebastian from the Tempest have some vibes so you could genderswap them. Could TOTALLY see Edmund like “hey you know how I usurped my sibling? I’ll help you usurp your sibling, and then maybe we can also bang”

13. How hard is it write/draw your pairing? Scale of 1-10.I’ve only kind of tried once (and that was with m!Edmund anyway) so idk…6 or 7 maybe? I like writing Goneril but I find Edmund’s voice very hard to get right, plus I’m always trying to find a good middle ground between Shakespearean English and totally modern language.

14. Is there a pairing that you think rivals them?I mean in-universe it’s Regan/Edmund but I don’t like them nearly as much (and I don’t think they like each other all that much either). If Regan weren’t so grief-stricken and Edmund weren’t so obsessed with holding onto any bit of affection I don’t think they ever would have gotten together.

15. Which character of the pairing do you like more? (Would you ever pair yourself with them?)I’m for sure an Edmund person — as much as I love Goneril, she’s not top 3 characters in the canon level of fave. And I think my crush on Edmund is well-documented (although less f!Edmund since I’m straight) but that relationship would probably end in my death tbh

16. Which character of your pairing would be the one to break up with the other? Why?I guess Edmund, since she’s the one who cheats, and even though Goneril seems to know about it she doesn’t end things. But realistically I don’t think Edmund would actually break up with her even if she probably should, she’d be more likely to keep hanging on because Affection™ even if things were a wreck. Honestly given how things are in the canon I think both of them would stick around long after it stopped being a good idea.

17. Are they relatable as characters or as a pairing?I relate to Goneril somewhat because Womanhood™ and oldest daughter feelings and especially in this AU having a bad and traumatic relationship with a man that makes you hate him even if it’s not really his fault :/ I don’t really relate to Edmund though, and I’ve never had a relationship similar to their dynamic

18. Did you once/ever dislike one/both of them?Regan was the first sister I loved and I still adore her but for a while that made me think of Goneril as the boring evil crazy sister who was just getting in everyone’s way. Edmund I loved from the start, although at first it was just in the “villain is cool and sexy haha” way, and it wasn’t until I got really into that character that I started loving Goneril too and thinking about how much they have in common and are SUCH victims of their parents and society in general.

19. On an estimate, how many posts have you made about them?Less than 5 I think, this is definitely a niche ship as far as people’s interest on here and tbh I didn’t start fully shipping it until recently. It’s definitely a guilty pleasure ship because their relationship is DISASTROUS but it also makes me feel…a lot of things.

20. What made you decide to ship them?I got really upset thinking about how Edmund canonically died alone and rewrote his death scene so Goneril was there they both kind of…realised how lonely they both were and got to have a genuinely tender moment right at the end. And then it occurred to me how sad their mutual love-starvation is and how much I want them to be there for each other. And THEN you helped me flesh out my ideas for f!Edmund and that just intensified both of their feelings of rejection by the world and Edmund getting to embody Goneril’s sexual liberation and both of them experiencing love in a way they never have before and that just made it even more compelling.

21. Favorite genre for them? (Angst, fluff, etc.)I’ve barely written them but honestly fluff because the main appeal of this ship is giving them both companionship and someone to understand what they’re going through. So yeah, I want them to be sweet and talk about their feelings and work through their issues enough to be a functional couple. Will this ever happen? Unlikely, but I can imagine it.

An unexplainable chill wracked you, and just as a nervous laugh began to form in your throat his grip on you tightened, bordering on painful. You winced as he pulled you closer, his lips ghosting over the shell of your ear as he whispered,

“I’m very much looking forward to our partnership.”

A cold touch on your chest sent a shiver through your body, bringing you out of your thoughts. His fingers slowly moved from your collarbone up to your lips, caressing them with his thumb. The touch was so soft you could barely tell it was there, especially with your sense of sight restricted. Your body was aching for more, and you parted your lips to delicately touch your tongue to the pad of his thumb. Amused, he pushed it into your mouth, allowing you to suck on the digit lightly. After a moment, he let the artificial skin covering his hand retreat and you familiarized yourself with the taste that was uniquely him.

He wants more contact, you mused as you used the tip of your tongue to trace a line up his newly exposed thumb. He gave no audible indication of pleasure, he knew it was too soon to reward you with the response you so desperately craved. Feeling bold, you bit down on the smooth plastic just enough for it to resonate in his pain receptors. For a second he froze, and you gently dragged your teeth along his thumb before he withdrew his hand completely from your face. How foolish of you to think that the deer could outmatch the wolf.

“I don’t think you’re in any position to do as you please, teacup.”

Teacup. You recalled when he first called you that; the two of you had been working together for a couple of weeks and had been assigned to investigate a supposed red ice drug den. It was located in a condemned building on the outskirts of Detroit. The drive there had been silent, but a tense atmosphere hung heavy in the air. Nines, as you had taken to calling him, was not one for idle chit-chat and only spoke to anyone when it proved to be beneficial. While you assumed that was just a protocol woven into his programming, he displayed a level of haughtiness that seemed to be outside of those zeroes and ones.

He made you nervous, simply put; he seemed to take on some sort of fascination with you almost immediately. His gaze never strayed from you too often, he purposely got too close to you during your interactions, his touch lingering for just a second longer then necessary. When an inevitable flush crept up your neck, tinting your face a delicate pink, you could’ve sworn you saw a satisfied smirk adorn his face. You had fought against the worst depravity this city could possibly offer, yet this RK900 with a superiority complex had you perpetually on edge. Maybe that’s part of his programming too, you thought as you let out a humorless chuckle. Nines glanced at you with those eyes you believed could freeze Hell over, and you blushed under his gaze. His LED blipped red, and just as quickly as it appeared, returned to blue- again. He informed you that the two of you had reached your destination and you acknowledged him with a stuttered thank you as he exited the car. Taking a few deep breaths you quickly followed suit and caught up with Nines, trotting alongside him.

The dilapidated house was all but abandoned, whoever was squatting there must’ve caught wind that you two were coming and left in a hurry. But when you’re in an unexpected rush you’re bound to leave something behind. While Nines was analyzing the scene and scanning for possible traces of thirium, you went off on your own to search for a lead. The foundation was rotting, long forgotten by the city to be demolished and thus remained standing much to nature’s chagrin. You proceeded with caution, making your way forward in hopes of finding promising evidence. It had slipped your mind to ask Nines to check the structural integrity of the building before splitting up; any chance you got to escape from him you eagerly welcomed. A loose ceiling beam had collapsed, bringing it and surrounding debris crashing down dangerously close to you. You let out a surprised yelp, instinctively jumping back and immediately meeting with Nines’ chest.

“You should watch where you step,” he chided, his hands grasping your shoulders, “humans are so fragile, teacup.” The extra emphasis on this new pet-name had your heart thundering in your chest. His lips turned upward in a smirk as he no doubt noticed your dramatic change in heartbeat. You looked back at him, perplexed by his hold on you and his newfound lack of formalities. The look in his eyes, one that regarded you in a way you had never seen before, had your breath hitching suddenly. It could almost be associated with hunger, desire, need-emotions you never fathomed he could be capable of.

“Yes, teacup,” he began. “While they are so very delicate and often small, I find them quite...endearing.” He brought his other hand up to tuck a stray strand of hair behind your ear, “so pretty to look at, yet so easy to break,” he explained softly against the side of your neck, causing a heat to form in the pit of your stomach as a finger rested right over your pulse. A simple touch was enough to exude the power he held over you, and your second mistake came when you didn’t break from his hold. Instead you embraced it; the deer went to the wolf on her own volition.

A sharp bite brought you back this time, meticulously placed at the juncture where your shoulder met your neck. You squirmed underneath Nines as he pulled his mouth away, tracing the bruise that was no doubt forming on your skin with the tip of his tongue. You struggled desperately against your confines that held your limbs in place. A pointless endeavor, but Nines knew the extent of your tenacity and took pleasure in watching your attempts all the same. A hand found its way to your neck, slender fingers wrapping around it and applying enough pressure to cause your breaths to staccato. His teeth nibbled your ear lobe before whispering, “I want all of your attention. Focus.”

Despite the softness of his voice, it didn’t take away from the severity of his command. His hand was a vice around your throat that made your head light and your body tingle in the most pleasurable way. A phrase that has slipped from your lips time and time again found its way out once more, “Yes sir,” you said between pants, arching your back as he traced a nipple idly. He hummed in satisfaction before giving the bud a sharp pinch, pulling a gasp from you at the heightened sensation.

You were desperate for more, for anything. Every touch, breath, kiss had your body singing and you prayed his generosity would continue. But the only one who would answer those prayers was Nines himself; he wanted you on your knees, yes, but not for praying. He would have you fall to the floor begging before he even considered giving you what you wanted, what you absolutely craved. This song and dance wasn’t new to you; your pride was lost long ago after countless times of falling prey to the hypnotic score he masterfully composed.

“I don’t believe you are, teacup.” you felt him get off the bed and you held back your moan of protest-it would just fuel his motivation to continuously deny you. You tried to listen for any indication of what he was doing but with little success. Nines was unpredictable, and the constant uncertainty of what he had in store for you made your blood burn. But everything he did was meticulously calculated, that much you knew, and he no doubt took advantage of his pre-constructing software that was intended for investigations. He resumed his place over you, and a sigh of content started to escape from your lips.

It quickly turned into a hitched breath as you felt the edge of a blade against the side of your neck, it’s cold bite making you still completely. This-this was something new. The unfamiliar sensation was met with a newfound realization of how truly in control Nines was. No one would ever be able to hold this much authority over you and he was more than aware of it. The way he could map out every single vein, dragging the knife’s point over them with precision, it was a warped sense of intimacy that had you reeling knowing only he could ever truly know you. You were past the point of no return.

He continued his movements, trailing down your neck to your collarbone and even further downward. His touch was purposely featherlight, the knife barely making a scratch on your skin but that did little to placate your rapidly increasing heart rate. The cool steel found its way to the delicate skin of your hips-by then you were already shuddering and shallow breaths escaped you incessantly. The sheer intensity of not having any indication of your surroundings was going to throw you over the precipice of insanity soon, and he knew all that and more with just one simple scan of your body. He let out an amused huff as he traced circles lazily over your thighs, painfully close to your throbbing core.

“You seem troubled, what could possibly be the matter,” he asked nonchalantly, placing his free hand over your waist and you nearly moaned at the contact. Your thoughts were hazy, clouded over with a building lust, and you pathetically tried to sputter out a response but to no avail. His patience was waning-albeit it slowly-and he graciously decided to reward you. A slender finger found its way in between your legs and this time you couldn’t hold back a whimper for what could only be described as touch starved ecstasy. His deft fingers traced up and down your folds, his thumb resting on your clit with just enough pressure to make you wriggle beneath his touch. “Perhaps this will placate your tension, teacup,” he murmured against your hip, his tongue tracing it as two fingertips lingered tantalizing close to your entrance. And your final push over the edge was when he wasted no time to delve into you up to the knuckle.

A cry of pure pleasure left your lips and you arched your back as high as your restraints would allow. Your limbs strained against their confines desperately as he continued his ministrations, setting a perfect rhythm that had you moaning his name over and over again like gospel. His thumb tracing tight, quick circles around your clit had you feeling as if Hellfire itself was raging in your center and the lust you felt was only intensified by their flames. “Look at you,” he muttered, adding a third finger without missing a beat. His other hand had abandoned the knife and gripped your hip with a bruising force as he continued to thrust into you, slowing his pace drastically. You abandoned whatever little remained of your pride in that moment and begged for him to speed up once more, hoping your promises of “being a good girl” would entice him.

“Look at you,” he repeated, his once quick pace switching to a deep, slow, hard cadence. He played you like a violin, his fingers expertly knowing which notes to hit that would make you sing with a melodic trill. “One of Detroit’s finest detectives, reduced to a mewling mess.” The comment wasn’t meant to be an offense to you, rather, he was commending himself on what he alone could do to you. This version of yourself that he could create and revel in-it was entirely his to own, to touch, to fuck . His predecessor prided himself on always accomplishing his mission, and to Nines, you were no exception to the claim. He stilled within you, leaning in close enough that his lips brushed against yours. Barely a whisper, he demanded, “Tell me what you want.” And just like that the fog cleared; you could see the entrance to the wolf’s den within reach.

In perfect tandem you uttered your devotion back to him as you have done before-as you always do. “You.”

With one syllable, you would find yourself in rapture.

As soon as the response left you, Nines made quick work of your bindings, cutting you free and flipping you onto your stomach. Taking you by the hips, he sank himself into you and once again you felt whole, complete. With each thrust he pushed you deeper, deeper, and deeper into pleasure’s embrace. You welcomed it, succumbing completely to his unleashed passion that's only amplified as Nines pulled you back by your hair, exposing your unmarred neck to him. He continued to claim you, embellishing your skin with his bites that you would wear as a badge of honor. With another yank on your hair, a sensation that teetered between pleasure and pain, he posed a question, “Whose are you?” He had heard the answer countless times, but your complete submission made him feel a sense of satisfaction that was above anything within his programming. And again, you responded as he always accurately predicts you will.

“Yours...sir,” you emphasized his title, yearning for him to come and release everything he had upon you. Your cravings were returned in kind as he briefly removed himself from you, only to place you on your back. Without hesitation he positioned himself between you again, one of your legs splayed out straight while he hoisted the other over his shoulder. Nines found his rightful place inside you once more and drove into you with a force that left you short of breath and with a beautiful array of colors blooming within the abyss of your blindfold.

Just as soon as they appeared, they were replaced with faint lamplight and the dim, red glow from Nine’s LED. Your eyes quickly adapted to their newfound ambience and Nines tossed your blindfold aside, afterwords putting one hand on your calf and the other on your thigh to continue his merciless tempo.”That’s right, you’re mine,” at this point, that was a statement of fact. “You’re,” thrust, “my,” thrust, “teacup.” That, however, was a belief that Nine’s had formed on his own-a deviation beyond predesignated code that forbade him from feelings such as connection. A flush of blue adorned his cheeks as he continued to lose himself within you, placing languid kisses to your inner calf.

“Y-yes,” was all you could say, broken and breathily, as the pressure in your core was reaching its breaking point, spreading through every inch of you. You had completely surrendered yourself to the carnality of the wolf, sacrificing body and soul so both your desires could be satiated. Sensing you were on the brink, Nines gave one more well calculated thrust that hit you perfectly, your orgasm surging through you like a rapid with your gluttony for pleasure fulfilled. You felt as if you were floating, a pleasant tingling sensation nipped at the tips of your fingers and toes as you gasped for air; you were once again reminded what continued to tempt the deer to the wolf. As your shaking began to subside Nines released your leg, feeling heavier than iron as it fell to the bed with a gentle thud. You felt him lean over you, coming down to meet your lips in a chaste kiss; a soft gesture to commemorate yet another encounter and a promise of more to come.

He lingered for a second longer than usual before pulling back to regard you with those piercing eyes that consistently enamored you; behind them was a spell you weren’t sure you could ever break free from. A realization came, and with that a weight that was too much of a burden to bear currently; it had taken root deep within your heart. The hold he had on you was developing into something you found yourself unable to say aloud, and perhaps you never could. But as his eyes softened and he placed his palm to your cheek, you believed someday the deer could find the strength to tame the wolf.

Younger post-ep ramble 6x03

This week’s episode of Younger, ‘The Unusual Suspect’, was a big one. No scenes felt wasted, each one moving the story along and it all felt very purposeful. Despite some capital H hotness and really light and funny moments being scattered throughout, mostly thanks to fave (and only) NYC agent Redmond and the resurrection of some truly classic Diana Trout, there was definitely the sense of tension on the rise. It’s been simmering since the end of this season’s first episode and I feel like this week we have hit an apex.

We open with brunch at Maggie’s and what one can only assume is a time jump (either that or Clare has recovered remarkably well from birthing a baby the size of a four month old) and right away an overarching theme for this episode is established, as Lauren enters raving about the latest hit podcast, Exonerated. I’m gonna come straight out and say that I am so into this premise. The excitement around the table sounded like the break room in my office most days, they definitely nailed the trend of true crime fixation. It immediately allowed for Maggie’s quip about white women loving murder, a delightful array of OTT facial expressions from Liza and Kelsey dropping in that Millennial will be meeting with Audrey Colbert, subject of the podcast, to nab her book before anyone else does. Of course the other big news is that Josh and Clare appear to be happily family-ing it up (though mommy wipes, daddy dipes = vom in my mouth a little bit) and Maggie is dealing with unresolved BoUBT (Back of Uber Birth Trauma). Lauren’s vow to help get Maggie back on the ‘h for hunt’ once again epitomises why I love her character so and I want to record her sympathetic ‘oh Divaaa’ as my ringtone. I just love that Maggie, of all characters, is the one who seems like she should be the most pragmatic when it comes to something like birth yet her coping level is zero here.

You know who else wasn’t coping? Me and my Liza and Charles loving heart as Liza suddenly up and left the brunch because she ‘was late for a thing’, cue the scene that was released as a sneak peek last week that I have definitely only watched a normal number of times *cough*. The set up for The Rubin Museum from the opening conversation was fab and the fact that Charles and Liza are using the podcast to frame up a role play situation is just too much. Obviously I had seen the scene prior to the ep and while it is certainly *insert flames here*, I can’t help but wonder what it would’ve been like not to have expected it (actual combustion probable). I mean regardless, I will never think about a trip to the museum in the same way again. The voice-over narrating what we were seeing was such a great device that is really different to anything the show has done before, it built the anticipation of what was playing out and it felt like a scene from a movie. The moment when Charles turned and came face to face with Liza was a great reminder of how electric the chemistry between these two can be (actual lightening bolts were sighted) and quite frankly, seeing these characters being adventurous and lustful in their relationship is a yes on all fronts. I think the fact it all took place in a place of intellect and culture was extra fitting, it somehow kept the whole thing true to the characters and I am here for the #nerdlove.

The office drama was amped this whole ep and that of course was largely due to the ever growing reign of our season 6 villain, Quinn. With the time jump since last episode confirmed by the fact that Quinn’s book is both published and sitting on the best seller list, Kelsey and Diana’s first encounter with Quinn as she uses the WiFi for a conference call included a) Diana saying goodbye in Mandarin, which was yet another lovely tidbit to add to this character while also setting up the classic Diana we got throughout this ep and; b) some of the best fashion and hairstyles all in one scene (and episode as a whole) ever. I mean the fashion on this show is always next level but this episode in particular took it up a notch: Diana’s high-neck printed electric blue top and Kelsey’s hair/makeup/outfit in the conference room were so stunning I was actually distracted by them.

Kelsey’s office refurb was also noted, loved Liza’s ‘set it (Claw) on fire’ comment and of course, Diana telling Kelsey that now she is publisher, maybe she should stop speaking like a trucker was D. Trout golden line no.1 for this episode. Even better was seeing Kelsey, Diana and Liza settling into this new way of working. I adore the dynamic between these three and the way we’re seeing Diana adjust to her former assistant now being a peer without a fuss is why this show is so wonderful. It would have been easy to have Diana trying to assert herself and maintain some sort of authority, but to see her just want to get on with the work and do the best job she can gives a great credibility to the notion that this character is the best in the industry. I could pretty much write out every Diana Trout line from ‘The Unusual Suspect’ and leave this entire ramble at that (’why is everybody in this country obsessed with true crime? Actual people have died and they’re selling branded beanies on Etsy’ LOLLLLL) but I would then need to do that for Redmond because the fave one and only agent in NYC was back this week and as always, he was in fine form.

The pitch of Audrey Colbert’s book is up there with the funniest scenes of this series, from the creepy af Audrey (A+ casting of Willa Fitzgerald) to Liza and Kelsey trying to play it cool while being hella freaked out to Redmond’s attempt to present a compelling pitch being railroaded by Audrey’s ‘crippling lack of media training’, it was Younger writing and delivery at its finest from start to finish. Seeing Redmond so unnerved by Audrey was unnerving in itself and really, I am so happy with the amount of Michael Urie in this episode. Our next encounter was of course when Kelsey and Liza interrupt his infrared sauna treatment (again, so many hilarious lines, I really feel that a transcript of the entire episode is about the only way to do it justice but may be problematic to pass off as a recap/review…or would it?) and discover that Audrey’s book is being shopped around thanks to the dagger next to Claw on the bestseller list, which = bulk sales = dodgy business = Chinese bots tweeting = Quinn is the worst (math doesn’t lie) = Audrey doesn’t want to be associated with anything suspicious on account of the fact she’s been accused of murdering two ppl (fair). I do want to back this truck up a little though to the way Kelsey and Liza discovered their next big hit was being pitched to half the major publishing houses around town.

Diana Trout hobbling into the office on crutches before dropping the bomb that her injury was the result of being so frazzled upon hearing the news re: Audrey going elsewhere, that she got caught up in her reformer (just go and re-watch this scene, you will not be sorry) is everything I never knew I wanted to see. The reference to Jackie Dunn, who you may remember has been a longstanding nemesis of sorts of Diana’s, was such an utter delight as a long time fan and once again, seeing Kelsey, Liza and Diana all equally vexed by the news was so great and continued to solidify them as a team. I promise no more direct quotes* (*this is a very loose promise), but ‘postpone the power-trip Kelsey, I am handicapped’ in response to Kelsey’s stunned expression upon Diana’s request for espresso, is so outrageously funny and makes this whole scene an absolute stand out on account of its hilarity.

I missed Lauren and Diana interacting this week, however I appreciated seeing Lauren be the wonderful friend she is to Maggie and Josh. Taking Maggie to the support group obviously allowed us to meet Beth, who Maggie engaged for some one on one tutoring (looking forward to seeing where that goes this season) after returning to the store to apologise for running out during the group session. While Maggie was lining up her ongoing therapy, Lauren and Josh shared a sweet and heartfelt moment that highlights why their friendship is such a lovely one on this show. Obviously Josh had told Lauren that he and Clare had a moment that made him think, ‘maybe we should make this relationship work’ and Lauren is following up to see where his head and heart are at.

I absolutely loved said scene between Clare and Josh, when he had finally settled the baby, asks Clare if she wants to go to her bed and then joins her on the floor when she says she sleeps where she can now. There was such a sense of unity and care and it made my heart swell. So in his discussion with Lauren we also find out the baby is named Gemma (last name TBC, for both father and daughter) and when pressed about what he actually wants, Josh reveals that he doesn’t think he and Clare are right for each other. I have said it before, but for all the wacky that Lauren can be, she is the most incredible friend who only wants the best for those around her in such a relentless and genuine way and this scene really highlighted that once again (the line about her dad having such a little bottom though brought us straight back to Lauren light in the best possible way).

The divorce proposal was such a great scene and while I was hoping that perhaps Clare and Josh could work things out, I am thrilled to see that the writers put both these characters on the same page right from the get go. I love that this show constantly bucks stereotypes and expectations of how certain characters and relationships will play out, so to see two adults who have an agreed desire to put their child first but know they need to do so outside a romantic relationship is something really unique on television. I have always enjoyed Josh and Clare’s dynamic and I hope we get to see a real, loving co-parenting arrangement play out.

Kelsey’s interaction with Zane when she is buying a bottle of Dom Perignon to celebrate scoring Audrey’s book (eek!) is my favourite interaction of theirs this season. Their banter was really effortless, Zane’s, ‘you’re not listening’, as he pulled out the cash to pay for the one remaining bottle smooth and a little bit over confident, but really played up that he has something in the works that is legit. I especially love that we later discover both are buying champagne to celebrate the same win. I feel like we also need to stop and appreciate that they were about to drop $400 between them on two bottles of bubbles like it was no big deal. What is this life? How do I get it?

Though admittedly Kelsey deserves a nice glass of something this ep considering all that she is dealing with. I have made no secret that I have struggled with Kelsey’s character these past couple of seasons and no one is more surprised than me at how much I am getting on board with her this season. Kelsey calling out Quinn point blank that she faked her best seller was so good to watch and seeing Liza backing her up and standing her own ground made this extra satisfying. Gah, I just LOVE how Laura Benanti plays Quinn and her stating that ‘the money is real, what else do you need?’ is so cold and matter-of-fact. What I love most about this whole confrontation is that it immediately made me think back to the first time we met Quinn - her whole presentation was about the fact that no one wants your success more than you do and that women helping women is actually holding women back. That right there should’ve been the red flag that her “helping” Liza and Kelsey was not legit.

And so her true motivation for investing in Empirical becomes evident. It had nothing to do with saving an ailing publishing house, it was to ensure her book would be published, she could have some control over how big it would become and be seen to have the support of a reputable publishing house, all in order to gain name recognition so she could successfully run for Senate. In her mind, Kelsey and Liza benefit from the whole thing financially so it’s a win win but she also holds the power so feels like she has the upper hand. Which is why the scene at The Cut (which is so fab, the looks Quinn shoots Kelsey are searing), when audience members question the dagger next to her book, is so damn satisfying. Kelsey’s move to announce Quinn’s run for Senate is so bold, I am very on board and boy oh boy Kels, I think you’ve got yourself quite the adversary. I was very much Liza watching this all unfold, shocked, impressed and a little bit scared for and of Kelsey and what this all means.

Now Liza was late to the event because she was living out the next chapter of the podcast at the Brownstone which we need to discuss, however I first owe some of you an apology. At the end of last week’s ramble I suggested you may need a fire blanket at the ready after seeing the museum scene sneak peek to you know, contain the flames. I fear some of you may have deployed it prematurely (this is not a euphemism though I am very aware it sounds like one) in response to how damn hot that scene was, but I was not to know that we were going to get this later scene, in which Liza just wanders into the townhouse BECAUSE SHE HAS A FREAKING KEY (suspected ep 2, confirmed ep 3, appreciated always) and decides to have a good old snoop at her bf’s mail. Similar to the museum scene, this set up felt more like a movie than a typical Younger episode. There was an ominous weight to it; the music, the lighting, the Charles padding silently up behind her (barefoot again?) and the tension was palpable.

Liza asks Charles about what’s going on, he provides a vague answer about moving some things around before asking her if she’s listened to chapter 7 of Exonerated, which conveniently mirrors almost exactly what just occurred, with Audrey’s ex finding her going through his things. Ok, so this is where it gets tricky for me. This entire exchange, from the way these two fall into that speaking in third person and wrapping a narrative around themselves, the way Charles wraps his arms around her, the way they look at each other, I mean, this whole thing makes my heart spontaneously combust because it is sexy and flirty, dripping with desire and just really really hot *reaches for backup fire blanket*. But then Liza is clearly distracted by that letter and Charles’ deflection and part of me is wondering why on Earth she isn’t pressing him harder for an answer or following up, I mean, we saw how open they were with one another last season, but then the other part of me looks at Liza and thinks, you are a person who has eyes and that whole situation is right there in front of you so I get it, go with it and worry about it later.

I am aware of how long this ramble already is, but I am going to do something a little different here and digress slightly away from the episode itself and put out some conjecture on my part. It could well be completely over-analysing (lol, I’m neck deep into a freaking novella about a 25 min episode of TV, I think that’s a given) but I know that there is concern about Charles behaving secretively and I have seen some people expressing disappointment in this season so far.

For what it’s worth, my take on it is that it might seem as though some of the characters are behaving a little out of character but I feel that actually, the characters are behaving in ways we haven’t seen before because they’re in situations we haven’t seen them in before. As invested viewers we feel like we know these characters as whole people in every aspect of their lives when in fact, we’ve not seen Liza at the top of her game in her career or Josh as a parent or Charles in a romantic relationship or away from the office. So while the way they behave might not be the way we imagined it, to me it isn’t so much out of character as seeing a new dimension of the character. Also, the addition of flaws does not necessarily equate to destroying a character, it builds them out and makes them more real, if anything.

In relation to Charles and Liza’s relationship and the ‘Charles is being shady’ concern, IMO the key purpose of that is to create tension and you can FEEL it building. As crazy as it may sound, I think the Liza/Charles dynamic thrives in the build and resolution of tension and that’s why their moments in this episode felt so electric and hot, it’s like those unspoken, unresolved tension points charge their chemistry. As much as I think I would love to have Charles and Liza sitting around blissfully happy (I mean, I would obvs), the reality is, it’s not that fun to watch. I believe the tension is building towards a resolution of sorts that will actually put them in a better place and move the relationship forward. (*Full disclosure: since writing this I listened to the podcast from ATX fest and Joe Murphy, one of the writers for Younger, said very similar things so if you listened to that podcast I promise I have not just taken what Joe said and pretended they’re my thoughts, I legit had this written and then heard (ngl, I may be feeling a little smug as a result). I’m putting it down to us both being Australian because clearly that is a thing that makes sense).

I also think there is an unsettled feeling this season because the entire premise of this show, the roles these characters played, the interactions we have grown accustomed to week after week, has been completely flipped upside down. As viewers we garner comfort from the routine of watching a show but also from knowing where the players are positioned, how they will behave and what it looks and feels like. I think the writers know exactly what they’re doing and are achieving exactly what they would’ve hoped (apologies writers if this is wildly inaccurate and I’m just assuming things incorrectly left, right and centre) - everyone is sitting in discomfort and it’s largely due to the unfamiliarity of it all. The set up, the way we’re seeing characters etc, it reflects what the characters themselves are experiencing on our screens, which is all kinds of meta and actually pretty cool. But the further you push that discomfort and make viewers sit in it, the greater the impact and more satisfying the resolution. It’s like waiting for a beat to drop in a song, the build up can become almost unbearable but damn it’s good when it lands. That’s how I feel this is all going to go.

That is what I meant by this episode feeling like an apex, it feels as though there’s a limit to how far an audience can be taken in a state of flux without some resolve somewhere. And the writers know this, it’s what they do, it’s WHY we tune in. I’m not suggesting that everything is going to go back to the way it was, the evolution of a show like Younger is exciting and part of the fun is seeing where it goes, but we are three episodes in to a twelve episode season and while we consume it week to week, it ultimately has to make narrative sense across the whole season. It’s as though we’re at the end of an ‘establishing’ phase right now. So I am reserving any judgement until I see how it all comes together, but have no doubt there will be many resolutions and many new points of tension throughout.

Right now, I am thoroughly enjoying all that we’re getting and I think the writing this season has been excellent so far, with moments like the final scene of ‘The Unusual Suspect’ providing us with the first true cliffhanger of the season. Our last bit of Redmond for the ep was peak Redmond (I love that he dashed off to a better table uptown), and of course the big Mercury reveal, YESSS. That moment of realisation washing over Liza’s face, props to Sutton Foster, and I cannot WAIT to see how this all goes down. The prospect of inter-generational team ups of Kelsey/Liza vs. Zane/Charles while members of each team are in relationships with one another is the kind of set up I live for in a TV show. During this time, I usually feel like we have to initiate with many unknowns and proceed to the Full Moon which inevitably reveals something we overlooked, creating an opportunity to clear anything in the way of our New Moon Intentions. There is no right or wrong to this, it is the Moon so we feel it on very subtle levels but what I’ve learned is that most of us have a preference so if you know what the cycle is up to, you can prepare better as well.

As for our two Libra Full Moons, this is giving us two chances to do this deep clearing in the relationship department and honor the annual opportunity to complete things and tie up any loose ends in our relationships, personal, professional or both. That means anything and anyone that you have to relate to on a regular basis has this annual opportunity for renewal on a very deep level. It is a time to notice what is out of balance and take advantage of the initiatory energy of the Spring to clear it out and make space for new relationships and for new ways of relating in general. This one has so much additional power & juice for clearing out old, toxic, imbalanced relationships in a way that is so obvious that it makes it almost effortless to finally let go. You will also be shown the new possibilities for nourishing & supportive, balanced & reciprocal relationships, partnerships & collaborations that are being seeded at this time in your life.

Where is the beauty? fun? joy? supportive, helpful, peaceful people? What nourishes your body? mind? soul? spirit? Think in terms of how that has evolved over the last 6-months, 1-year and over the last 8-years for sure. What you used to be magnetized and attracted to has likely evolved, deepened and/or changed completely from 7-10 years ago. It’s time to do some internal reflection on the lessons & blessings you have gained through all your current relationships. No matter how grueling or treacherous they’ve been, you’ve learned something about your Self and humanity and how peace must be nurtured. Now, the Universe, the planets, Mother Earth herself all support you in stepping up and into NEW ways of being your Self, which automatically shifts how you relate with Others, on every level. Many small Circles and Communities have strong roots and are growing amazing things that will feed us all in the end. Find your inner balance, tap into this Spring Season when physical balance is naturally available and call in more balance & reciprocity in your personal & professional relationships. It’s time to allow more good into your life. Practice with more Light this season.

3/20 ~ SPRING Equinox 2019: Spring Equinox brings the Renewal of Life & Light, Rebirth & Resurrection! There are vital energies & resources that are now more readily available at this time.
