im extremely sorry for how long this post might be im literally manic rn

rip!mc being somewhat similar to geto in kindness, but the drastic difference is that kindness is being focused on different things when it comes to those two!

how suguru is kind in a way of hating to see his comrades die in vain. (him protecting the very source of jujutsu sorcerers deaths which is curses, most of the time) so that results to him eliminating the root cause of his problem and rip!mc being kind enough to see that humans are worth saving! her being so dependent on human lives is the probably the only thing keeping her sane (i believe you said this before.. correct me if im wrong!!)

also rip!mc & satoru.... what a roller-coaster.. the mutual pining 🙏🏽😞 them being similar when it comes to being terrible w communication... them both needing therapy.. LMFAO i just love how you write them and their dynamic. and i LOVE the fact that rip!mc kinda forces satoru to be truthful just of how things fly over her head 😭 it literally has so much depth and i cannot praise u enough for ur amazing brain.

i could literally go on and on about rip!mc's character and how i think she affects satoru and suguru.

i think u said that she brings out satoru's more "human" side,,, and i just wanted to know what does satoru bring out in her? what did suguru bring out in them individually? im just basically asking how they affected each other jdjdnsnn im sorry

i think a lot of rip!mc's relationship inspo with both gojo and geto and even shoko comes from that one fruits basket quote (which i've talked in length about...) where yuki talks about how only after seeing yourself through the eyes of someone who loves you can you start to love yourself. i think it's such a beautiful and optimistic way of saying that people need other people and that it's okay to rely on and be saved by others, and how that becomes the first step towards healing. gojo helps rip!mc realize that she should value her life more and look towards the future (the one with him in it of course) instead of remaining stagnant in the past and waiting for her inevitable death. i think that's always been kinda the overall meaning in their relationship. i just think in general the type of love narratives whether it's romantic or platonic that brings out the best in a person and helps them heal and become Better is chef's kiss

RIP your summer break. Anyway, here's an ask to commiserate.

How do the ROs behave when they're sick and MC was around to take care of them?

Conversely, how would the ROs take care of MC if they were the one who was sick?

RIP my summer break! Tomorrow I'll have to get up at a reasonable time and go back to work 😞 But today I can still do whatever I want (like answer fun asks)!

The ROs are sick and MC taking care of them

Silas would remind MC that they're a healer, so they can take care of themself, and MC should stay away so they don't get sick as well. But secretly, they'd be overjoyed to have MC around for company, no matter if that means that MC is running about and fussing about their health, or if they're just a quiet presence in their room to keep them company.

Khalida would insist that she is not sick and she does not need MC there to take care of her. Would absolutely try to continue with her everyday life as normal and deny that she's feeling even a little bit off. Would take MC convincing her to let them take care of her for their peace of mind for her to give in.

M would be the absolute opposite of Khalida, insisting that they're dying from the common cold. Woe is them, to waste away from illness and to die so young. They hate being sick, but they would love having MC fuss about them, and would ask MC if they could pretty please fetch a cold towel for their forehead and pretty please can they get them some tea with honey for the throat and could they please get... They'd be just as happy if MC just sat by their bedside and listened to their complaining though.

TUO would be similar to Khalida - he wouldn't deny being sick, but if you leave him unsupervised for even a minute, he'll climb out of bed and start doing stuff he thinks needs to be done. Will go back to bed with a sheepish smile while making poor excuses for why he was even up when caught by MC. Will not let MC fuss too much about him, but he'll enjoy having their company.

Rainn is a grumpy sick, they just want to be left alone and not be fussed about like a baby. They'll let MC stay around so long as they promise to be quiet and stay out of the way. Rainn will mellow out after a day or two of being sick, and might actually admit to like having MC around to help them out.

MC is sick and the RO takes care of them

Silas is definitely very attentive, making sure that MC is resting and drinking lots of fluids. They’ve also never been happier about being a healer, so they can make sure MC gets better as quickly as possible, or at the very least help alleviate their symptoms. Would not leave MC’s side for even a moment for the whole time that they’re sick.

Khalida would ironically be very strict with a sick MC. They’d better not try to even step a foot outside the bed unless absolutely necessary. Usually, Khalida doesn’t like having to take care of others, but if it’s MC... she supposes she could make an exception just this once, just to make sure they get better as quickly as possible. She probably won’t sit at MC’s bedside and fuss about them, but she’ll still quietly worry that they’re not getting better fast enough.

M is going to be just as dramatic about MC being sick as they are about themself when they’re sick. They’d do absolutely everything they can think of to take care of MC, get them medicine, cold drinks, hot drinks, food, fluffy pillows, a bunch of healers. M would stay by MC’s side to keep them company, talk about anything and everything while gently running their fingers through MC’s hair (if they have any).

TUO would ask what MC wants him to do. If they want him to stick around to attend to their every whim, he will do it without complaint. If they want him to stay away while they get better, he will (although he might still stick around somewhere out of sight, just to make sure that MC is ok and getting better).

Rainn is most likely going to quietly hover around MC, to make sure they’re not being stupid and trying to do stuff while they’re sick. If MC wants them to help them out and take care of them, they’ll huff and tease MC about being a baby who can’t take care of themself, while secretly enjoying having MC rely on them.
