Yoongi Soulmate AU| You switch bodies

Ah, soulmates. What a wonderful thing they are. Someone that is literally destined to be with you, is the perfect match for you to spend the rest of your life with. The one person you know you can be yourself around and they will love you unconditionally. But the trouble with soulmates, is that at any given moment you switch bodies with each other. And you don’t switch back until you find each other. It could be when you’re kids, it could be when you were well into adulthood. Fate has a funny way of deciding when the time is right. So when you go to bed that night, you really weren’t expecting to wake up in your soulmate’s body. 

You look up at the ceiling, noticing that something feels a little off. The bed under you feels a little more luxurious than you’re used to. As you run your hands over the sheets you realize that they definitely are not yours. You sit up abruptly, taking a look around the room and realizing this is not your room at all. You glance down and look at yourself, now noticing that you are not in your body. You can’t help but squeal excitedly when you realize you are in your soulmate’s body. Well, at least you try to anyway but your voice is much deeper than normal and it more comes out as a yell. You immediately glance around the room for a mirror, feeling really curious about what your soulmate looks like. You spot a door that you think either leads to a closet or a bathroom. You immediately run up to it and throw it open. Holy shit this closet is bigger than my whole apartment my soulmate is loaded. You think to yourself. You spot a mirror in the corner and walk over to it, standing in front of it and literally scream when you see who is staring back at you.

“Holy shit. Oh my god. Yoongi is my soulmate. Min Yoongi is my soulmate!” Your scream seems to have alerted someone as you hear the bedroom door crash against the wall. You turn around and see Hoseok standing in the door way.

“Yoongi?! Are you okay?” 

“Holy shit.. Hoseok...” 

“Yes? What’s wrong with you? You’re acting really weird.” 

“Um.. I’m not-” Just then Jimin also bursts into the room too. 

“Hyung? What’s wrong why were you- Oh Hey Hobi.” You feel so overwhelmed at the moment. Not only have you just found out Yoongi is your soulmate, but all of the other members are seeming to file into the room now having heard the commotion. 

“Listen uh.. everyone I’m not Yoongi..” 

“What do you mean? Did you hit your head last night or something? Are you sleep walking?” Hoseok reaches out and pokes your face and you smack his hand away. “Sure seem to act like him.” Suddenly the pieces seem to click together as Jungkook yells. 

“That’s his soulmate!” They all turn and look at Jungkook in surprise.

“There’s no way..”

“Um hi everyone? My name is y/n.” You shyly wave at them and blush and Jungkook cracks up at seeing your gestures in his Hyung’s body. 

“Awww Yoongi is so cute now!” 

“What are you talking about Yoongi has always been cute.” You scold Jungkook for saying otherwise. 

“Wait are you an army?” You freeze at Jimin’s question, suddenly feeling very nervous about their reaction for your answer.

“Um.. yes...” 

“Well shit this is bad.”

“Why is this bad?”

“Do you have any idea how much damage a fan could do in his body?! We need to find out where Yoongi is and stat.” You’re offended by how quickly Namjoon has seemed to turn on you without even knowing you.

“Okay wait a minute. You don’t even know me so why would you even assume something like that? And the fact that I am a fan of you all means that I deeply care and love every single one of you. I would never do anything to harm your careers or image. You should be thankful I’m a fan and not someone who’s just after your money or fame. Besides I’m his soulmate. You see how wonderful of a person Yoongi is do you really think I would be a horrible human being and be paired with him?” Namjoon’s gaze immediately softens. 

“You’re right y/n.. I’m sorry I didn’t mean that.”

“It’s okay. You’re forgiven.” 

“But anyway I’d really like to get back into my own body anyway.. so anything you all can do to help would be greatly appreciated.” Just then Hoseok’s phone starts ringing. 

“I don’t recognize this number.” 

“Oh! Wait that’s probably me.. or Yoongi rather.” You take his phone and recognize your number. You answer it and put it on speaker.

“Hi y/n! Or should I say Yoongi.” 

“Oh.. hey where’s Hoseok?” 

“He’s right here. I just wanted a chance to talk to you. How you liking things over in my body?”

“You’re um.. very cute. I was actually really happy when I looked in the mirror and saw your face staring back at me.”

“Awwwww hyung that’s so cute!!! Or should I call you Noona?” Taehyung teases. 

“Listen here you little brat when I get back in my own body you’re in for it you hear me?” You giggle at their arguing. 

“What the fuck? I don’t giggle. Shit, that sounds weird.” 

“Well maybe you should do it more often it sounds cute.” You tell him. 

“Also why don’t you have anything to eat in your house? All I can find is instant ramen and you have like 10 dollars in your wallet.”

“Well sorry mister rich and famous we can’t all be millionaires like you.” You tease.

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to sound rude.” 

“It’s okay Yoongi, I’m just messing with you.” 

“By the way y/n..” 

“Yes?”

“I really appreciate all these photos you have of us hanging in your room. And my photo card in the back of your phone case. So I take it I’m your bias then right?” You blush and groan as you remember all of the BTS Items you have sitting in your room right now, on top of all of the merch with Yoongi’s name on it. “Oh, wait what’s this? A sweater with my name on the back, a hat with my name on it.. And-”

“Okay! Okay I get it yes Yoongi you are my bias. You have been since the start please don’t go through my things.” 

“I won’t. I promise. Just wanted to tease you a little bit and show you what it feels like is all.”

“You both are so cute together it’s disgusting.” Jin retorts. 

“Alright so! Anyway, everyone can we figure out how we’re going to get Yoongi over here please? Because I don’t exactly have a thousand dollars to get on a plane to come to South Korea.. or rather Yoongi doesn’t.. God this is so confusing.” 

“Guess you’ll just have to come to me then huh?” 

“I can do that. Right?” You glance around the room, uncertain if they had any concerts or schedules coming up.

“Well, I mean we did have a photo shoot today but I think focusing on getting Yoongi back here needs to be top priority.” You nod at Jimin, agreeing with his words. 

“Well, then I guess I’m getting on a plane then.”

“Sounds good. I’ll see you soon then y/n.” 

“See you soon, Yoongi.” You glance around the room at everyone, suddenly feeling nervous that all eyes are on you. “Um.. do you all mind leaving me alone for a little while to pack? I need to get ready and mentally prepare myself for all this..” They all nod and leave the room, wanting to respect your privacy. Everyone leaves except for Hoseok who stands there awkwardly shuffling his feet back and forth.

“Hobi? Is everything okay?”

“It’s just.. I’m really happy that Yoongi has you now. He doesn’t always show it but.. I think he was beginning to wonder if he was ever going to meet his soulmate and it was really starting to get him down. I can only imagine how happy he is right now and I just want to thank you. And tell you that I hope you’ll take good care of him.”

“Aww Hobi come here!” You cross the room to where he is and hug him tightly. He hesitates for a moment before hugging you back.

“This feels really weird. Yoongi hardly ever hugs me.” You laugh and pull away apologizing. 

“Do you want to help me pack? I don’t know where any of his stuff is..”

“Sure! I’d love to.” Hoseok helps you pack up your suitcase while you recruited Namjoon to get you on the soonest flight back home. You’re all packed up and ready to go when Namjoon comes in and announces your flight is leaving in an hour. You rush out the door with Hoseok to head to the airport. He had offered to ride with you so you wouldn’t need to be by yourself. He walks you over to the gate, wishing you good luck and giving your hand a squeeze before you begin to board. You text your number from Yoongi’s phone, letting him know it’s you and you’re leaving now. You’re surprised when you receive a video message back. You open it and put your headphones in as the plane is taking off to help distract you. 

“Oh wow. You got a flight that quick. I’m really excited now. I really can’t wait to meet you officially. You seem like a really sweet person. And you’re absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t believe when I woke up and looked in the mirror I was thinking, holy shit how did I get so lucky? I can’t wait to get to know you better. I asked Namjoon to transfer some money into your account so I am going to go to the store and get some stuff to cook you a nice dinner. Ah, I’m not good with this kind of stuff but.. I really was beginning to wonder if I even had a soulmate. You came into my life at just the right time and I want to thank you for that. Have a safe flight. I’ll be seeing you soon.” He waves and blows a kiss at the camera and you smile widely, setting the phone down and deciding to take a nap before you land. 

Your flight went smoothly. You had texted Yoongi to let him know you were on your way to the house now and should be there in about an hour give or take depending on traffic and airport security. You’re standing outside your door. You don't know why you knock, it’s your own house. But you stand there waiting anxiously for Yoongi to come to the door. When he opens the door and your eyes finally meet you feel an odd feeling in the pit of your stomach. The world goes dark only for a moment and now suddenly you are staring back at Yoongi. 

“Am I back in my own body now?” He asks. You nod your head. 

“You wanna come in? You offer.” 

“I mean I’ve kind of made myself at home the past few hours but sure.” You giggle and step aside allowing him in.

“That giggle sounds much better coming from your voice.” You blush and continue with him into the kitchen, mouth watering at how delicious the food smells and looks.

“Wow.. Yoongi this looks amazing!” 

“Only the best for my soulmate.” You turn around and throw yourself into his arms, hugging him tightly around the waist. 

“I can’t believe this is actually happening.” 

“It almost feels too good to be true.” He kisses the top of your head, but you want his lips elsewhere. You place your hands on either side of his face. 

“Can I kiss you?” You ask, not wanting to rush into anything that might make him uncomfortable. 

“Please..” You feel like the world is moving in slow motion as you move forward and finally, press your lips against his. It’s a quick peck at first, testing the waters and seeing how it feels to finally be kissing your soulmate. You pull away but Yoong immediately latches his fingers in your shirt and tugs you back into him, kissing you more passionately this time. He deepens the kiss and backs you into the counter, caging you in with his arms. Your breath is quickening and your pulse is thudding rapidly in your chest as he move his tongue along the bottom of your lip. You don’t hesitate to open it and allow his tongue to explore your mouth. He moves away after a few more moments, needing to catch his breath. You move in to kiss him again and he chuckles at you, kissing your nose instead. 

“Ah, you gotta give me a minute baby. That was.. wow..” 

“I haven’t felt anything like that in my life.”

“Me either. Who knew kissing your soulmate could feel like that?” He kisses your forehead and then dishes out dinner for the two of you. You sit down on the couch facing one another and talking about everything so you can get to know each other better. At the end of the night Yoongi stands in the kitchen, unsure if he should ask to stay with you tonight or get a hotel. You move to go towards your bedroom and turn around when you notice he isn’t following you.

“Are you coming?” He smiles and walks after you. You both settle into bed, laying side by side with your hands linked in the middle. 

“So what are we going to do about tomorrow?” 

“Ah, well I have to go back to South Korea but I wanted to know if you would come with me..” 

“You really want me to go back with you?” 

“Yes.. I don’t, like I know you’re my soulmate and all but we just met and I don’t want this to sound weird but the thought of just leaving after meeting you makes my chest hurt.” You bring a hand up over your heart, you’ve been feeling the same way.

“It’s not weird.. actually I have been thinking the same thing I just wasn’t sure how to ask you.”  He sighs in relief, bringing your hand up to his lips and kissing the back of it.

“That’s a big relief. Wow okay. Great. So tomorrow I can buy you a plane ticket and we can go back together. You can officially meet all the members too!”

“I already met them though.” 

“Yeah but, you met them as me that’s different..” You giggle and roll over onto your side so you can lay on his chest. 

“That actually sounds lovely, Yoongi.” You both get quiet after that and you’re just about to fall asleep when Yoongi’s voice makes you perk up.

“I still can’t believe I got to meet you..”

“I should be saying that to you. Why were you so certain we weren't ever going to find each other?” Yoongi grows quiet next to you. “If you don’t want to talk about it that’s okay too..” 

“Ah, no it’s just.. A really good friend of mine never experienced the switch. He believes his soulmate is no longer living and it just terrified me that the same might be the case for me since I was waiting so long.” You turn to face him and he does the same, reaching your hand out to cup his face as you lean in and press a light peck to his lips.

“Well you know, fate has a funny way of knowing just when you need your soulmate the most. I think we both came into each other’s lives at the right time.” 

“I think you’re right y/n.” You roll onto your other side and he wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you into him. 

“Can I ask you something Yoongi?”

“Of course baby.” 

“How many times did you look at me naked?” You feel him move and suddenly a pillow is repeatedly being whacked onto your shoulder. You burst out laughing as Yoongi throws the pillow to the side and starts tickling you mercilessly. 

“You’re such a brat you know that!”

“It’s a completely valid question!” 

“I would never disrespect you like that.. but for your information it was only when I had to change out of my pajamas okay?” You chuckle at him and kiss his forehead, settling back down into bed. 

“I was just teasing you.” 

“You’re insufferable.” 

“But you’ll grow to love me.”  The fond look that washes over Yoongi’s features makes your heart race.

“Yeah, I think I will.”

I agree with your bts rant! but the wya i end up concluding it is “don’t hate the player hate the game” Like it’s such an industry deep situation. Even a societal one like everything we do is for money. Capitalism is a disease of its own. I mean def there are things to critic about artists like when they do bundling but that’s bc you can sell without it. But marketing is sadly necessary bc of the wya to industry works and just inevitable. I hope they tone it down tho but hey big hit wants that💰

lol ya my rant isn’t directed at the boys but rather at big hit. but also for all that the company is, i have so much respect for their sales/marketing/advertising team. witnessing their growth from dope onwards was insane from a business perspective. they really knew how to use social media to their advantage, how to give their fans free content aka bangtantv ( lol altho free i can only guess the ad revenue on their youtube videos!! hint: it’s millions), gayo & run episodes, their vlives and all of that, and make fans stay and convert them into ‘loyal customers’. they leaned into the fact that the public was moving more towards celebs that they find genuine and relatable and away from those that were over the top. they figured out how to make them feel accessible, relatable, before much of the industry figured it out. also, they understood how english could help them gain a lot of traction (iirc PSY talked about this too). it is also why bts gained such a following internationally, even bigger than in korea before they really blew up in their own country. anyway bang pd identified a niche early EARLY on, put together a team (boys, producers, lyric writers, content makers, just everyone at the company) that could bring it to fruition and capitalized on it. and i know we all go hehe haha bang pd but people seriously do not understand the brain this man and his team has. luck is one thing, but the way they’ve grown is more than just luck.

although im not part of the demographic that is willing to spend on everything, they knew they had people that do; that will buy all the concert dvds, summer package, winter package, muster, movies, bon voyage, in the soop etc. etc. etc. i could be wrong but no one produces as much content as they do. big hit is literally a content factory. all the merch, tinytan, bt21, etc. etc. etc. they take consumerism to the next level. as an individual looking at how much the company achieves year after year and all the profit i can only guess they make... it’s just amazing to me. the fact that they made weverse was genius. they really said fuq u to naver, vlive and fancafe and said we know how much our content is worth. don’t know when but when weverse starts doing live videos and if bts ever fully migrates everything over, add ads (especially curated ads based on the user data), profits are going to go through the roof and into outer space. data is worth more than anything and the fact of the matter is, the moment you download an app, you are inadvertently selling your data to them for the ‘free’ content you get. so yes, they are very smart. though i think they will always have a vlive presence because you need your hand in every cookie jar. and vlive is a way to reach ‘newer’ fans while weverse is for once you’re already in the ecosystem. acquiring pledis & source music to grow that ecosystem was also pretty smart. i can’t say much about the games they have released but i assume it’s a good enough revenue stream, data-wise and also probably coins that people buy or wtv.

the one thing i really do not agree with is the ads and products bts endorse. some of the ads are soooo boring. it doesn’t make me feel like buying the product but i am sure there are a zillion fans that will buy anything with their face on it but i will continue my thoughts on their ad/brand endorsement in another ask ahahahah.

but tldr: big hit from a business and money-making standpoint: amazing and i bet many companies want to emulate. big hit from a fan stand-point: i am tired from being bombarded with messages to buy things (i know i am not being forced so don’t come for my neck lol)

191019 Prism concert in Lisbon

Hello it's tumblr user soft-pentagon and I'mma tell you guys how my prism concert experience in Lisbon was!!!

Since I'm on my phone idk how to put this under a read more :( it's gonna be a long post so if you're not interested pls just scroll through it!

ANYWAYS SO!!! they're amazing.... Absolute legendary.... Guys I love them so much it's crazy 🤧🤧 I had a blast from the beginning to the end 😖😖

I got into the venue and I went alone :') so I was like "ahahah what am I supposed to do now" but I got friends with this girl who also went alone so we stick together until the end of everything :') new uni friend: achievement unlocked ✓ sdhksjms she was really cute :(( well all unis are in general I love you all 🤧🤧

ABOUT THE CONCERT: they're so good it should be illegal... Like you literally can see they love what they're doing and it's such a good vibe... Chills literal CHILLS 😖

God yuto... I'm absolutely whipped sdgjkkghk I'm not kidding he's unreal... He's so fine... And he cut his hair and it suits him so much... I'm absolutely in love with him after this sfhklldgj I'm no longer Hong biassed it's yuto era now 🤟🥺 AND SHINWON AAAA HE'S SO FLUFFY!!!! i love him so much he's seriously so cute with this hair :(( truly baby, I wanted to hug him and hold hands because how soft he looks :( hui is the true intellectual on this, now ik WHY 🤧 AND ALSO special mention to changgu and his silver hair... Guys he's crazy, he's no longer the cute soft boy we knew, well at least out of Korea, he goes hard af... His body rolls and expressions....... He knows we're thirsty and he makes sure to deliver, a demon 😔

During beautiful we had these banners saying "pentagon & universe together we shine" and we had to rise them during the song. And lemme tell you it was so beautiful.... Here's a vid. All the banners, unibongs and flashlights... it's was really really pretty :( and the boys got emotional, you could see... They're so genuine and they love us unis so much it's crazy... The ones that were more emo were kino and shinwon imo,, pretty sure kino teared up a lil bit sdhksjms he was trying so hard no to :(( baby must protect 🤧🤧

PT unis did an amazing job tho... It was crazy, we sang along to every song, screamed like crazy and the boys felt it sdhjnvss they got so excited lololol I lost my voice sdgjkkkkfdf but worth it hope you guys are proud :')

They made us sing a lil bit of round 2 and fantasystic acapella cause they know we'd nail it and we did sdgjkkkgh shinwon also did his part on round 2 lololol we stan the best rock star out there 🤟🤟

The boys were throwing water at us and at themselves idk sdgjkkghj go stupid go crazy I guess 👏👏 and in the encore when they were already leaving, kino poured a whole water bottle on himself, and did that thing with your hair when it's wet, you throw it back you know.... Hot sexy indeed 👌👌 and then shinwon came wildling but he saw karma instantly sfhklldgj,, here a vid.

ABOUT HI TOUCH: It's so fast sdgjkkfdf my initial plan was saying ily to everyone and go but it failed sfhklldgj 1) I lost my voice she no longer exists in this world adgjkdsd; 2) I got super nervous idk sdgjkkfdf I was like "omg it's happening bitch is happening" :') but it's okay 😔

So the first was hui and omg he's so CUTE sfhklldgj he has such a cute face I wanna kiss him in the cheeks sdfghjdjjddkd baby energy radiating from him, tiny cute hand ✊✊ I told him ily in tiny txt sdgjkkfdf the best I could and he was like "thank you :D" I'm also taller than him and I'm 175cm so 👀👀,, then yuto!!! I don't remember how it went with him I'm sorry :(( but I remember him the most from the concert so it's okay 😔 after all I'm yuto biased now,, then wooseok! He had his lil glasses on and my heart was crushed for how cute he is like sdhjnvss he has such cute and shinning eyes, he looks at you in such a cute caring way like we already friends you know :(( thinking about this is making me feel soft inside :(( he looks like a cute puppy ugh softttt babie I wanna protect!!!! I told him ily~ Then kino! He an angel in person, the girl before me was like "kinooo" and he pouted and grabbed her hand :(( truly so cute, I think I said hi cause after him my system broke sdhksjms, then I think it was shinwon but I'm not sure about the order I don't remember if he was before kino or after, but I do remember that when I went to h5 I scratched him a bit with my nail adfhhjjkkjh I was like "UPS" asfhjklllj nothing serious ofc,, THEN MY NO LONGER MAIN BITCH HONGSEOK: guys he's so beautiful I almost had an heart attack sdhksjms I could look at him all day cause he truly so pretty it's crazy.... I don't remember if I said ily or his but I remember I stayed some good 3 secs looking him in the eye and smiling like I'm some crazy person adfhhjjkkjh I made it in life with these 3 secs lmao 👌✊😔 then!!! Yeo one! I don't remember much about from him either :(( just that I said hi and that his silver hair blinded me sdgjlkgd and finally jinho!!! He got such cute tiny hands :(( he's so cute overall, soft hyung we love 🤧🤧 he was wearing a ring 👀 fashion king even during hi touch, kino is shaking sdhksjms

I had this big ass smile during this whole thing sdfhkjkgfd like I couldn't help myself I love them so much :(( 🤧🥺🥺 I cry

And yeah I think that's pretty much it!! I took pics and vids but my phone quality is shit and I was kinda far from the stage sfhklldgj everything looks extremely low quality :') so idk if i'mma post anything... But if I see something good enough I will!!!

Truly an amazing day, I love my boys so much I had so much fun, I lost my voice, I jumped like crazy I got wet sdhksjms I loveeee being in this fandom :(( I love pentagon 🤧💞

Seoul Limited and Forever with Babyz (Madrid)

I’m about half a year late, but I just want to share a bit of my B.A.P concert experiences both in Seoul Limited and Forever With Babyz tour in Madrid. You know, if anyone’s interested…

First of all, how did I get to Seoul? I applied for a month-long summer university program and I got a smaller tuition fee thanks to my schools being partner universities. Still, it took me about 5 years to get enough funds. I’m not going to talk much about that in here, but it was the most amazing time of my life. I do advise everyone not to ONLY go there for running after a potential Korean boyfriend tho. The culture is so much more than kpop-related fantasies.

Ok, on to the actual topic- B.A.P. While in Seoul, I did want to see the TS building with my own two eyes (so I’d know where to go to throw the tomatoes, haha). Therefore, one evening me and my fellow coursemate/ friend went to look for it, but apparently that day B.A.P and TRCNG had a practice there as it came out. When we approached the building, Zelo was chatting with someone in front of the house, but seeing us coming scared him off and he fleed to the building. I felt so sorry for him, because it must be a common occurrence for them to not get privacy even there by the way he reacted. So, I got nervous because I really wanted to have a picture in front of the building, but I didn’t want to be causing any discomfort to them. Me and my friend decided to take a picture real quick and I kinda got my two half-blurry pictures in front of the building.

When we stood back a bit, I saw TRCNG entering the house and we decided to leave. While we were walking away, around the corner came Himchan who was, for some reason, followed (basically cornered) by a bunch of blonde chicks (stalkers I guess?). Since I was a bit too close, for some reason I thought it would be really impolite if I didn’t say anything so I bowed and let out „annyeonghaseyo“ (It’s really weird to type it out like that). He answered me with a nod and when he had entered TS, some Korean fans who were following set themselves to wait outside the doors. That was the last we saw them as we moved further away from the place…

Before going to the summer program and buying the plane tickets to Korea, I didn’t know B.A.P would have a concert. When it was announced, I praed for the dates to overlap with my stay. I was incredibly lucky, because B.A.P’s first Seoul Limited concert was on the last day of my stay. The day itself was super-hot (38+ degrees) and I had a lot of troubles from moving out the dorms with all of my luggage etc. In the morning I managed to go to the venue to buy some merch (got myself a matoki whistle and a t-shirt). In the afternoon, there were already fansites distributing free merch (got also 2 banners, but I lost my shiny Zelo banner at the concert T_T). 

The queueing was so different from European stops, where we camp in front of the venes. Here you had a number on a ticket and you just went and looked for your spot in the line and everything went smoothly. I actually had bought two tickets, because I was hoping for someone to go with me (and to get more people to appreciate B.A.P, lol). I did manage to get a friend from the program to come with me, so it was a success. The venue was really well ventilated and the sound system was great. B.A.P had a live band to back them up and they put on a great show as always. Too bad I couldn’t really understand much when they did their talking. In the crowd, there was a couple and B.A.P pointed at them and stated that „This is how you take your girlfriend out. You take her to a B.A.P concert !“, and they continued to chat for a bit. The best things from the concert- Coma rock version, Blind and small snipets from songs fans had selected as the ones they want to hear from B.A.P the most, watergun fight, new solos and tons of adlibs. Even though my ticket queue number was quite big, the stage was so well built that when idols came off from the main stage to those cat-walks, I had maybe only 2 rows of people in front of me making it the closest I’ve been at a concert.

But there is one thing I found different from previous concerts. I don’t know if it was because I was really nervous about my flights and everything that day, but the crowd in Europe felt more passionate. I guess it is just in the way we cheer. I mean, their fanchants and everything was on point, but somehow it felt more calm and collected that I was used to. Either way, I loved that I could be there with OT6 and that Jongup released his cute MV for Annoying as a memory of that day. Oh, oh, and I finally got on Himchan’s fancam J. Really blurry, but I know it’s me. Thank you Channie!

Moving on to my Madrid experience. At first, I didn’t really plan to go to another tour because I’d already seen them this year, but the fact that there were tickets with best perks I never really managed to get before still available started creeping on me. I had to decide whether to wait for the mess that was Berlin ticket sale or settle for the Madrid one. I decided to save myself from the excess stress and take the Madrid VVIP. I don’t regret going one bit even though the Youngbros organisation was freaking awful. As VVIP holders, we were promised more time at the high-touch than VIP but nothing like that happened. The signed poster was actually just printed on and they had ran out of black beanies before even half the VVIPs could pass the counter.

The worst thing was that they messed with B.A.P’s sound system so some time the microphones didn’t really work and the security guys didn’t pay any attention to people fainting in the crowd, which Daehyun and Zelo had to point out to them (Zelo tried to get their attention in Spanish, Daehyun wanted to stop the song to resolve the case) and Jongup threw his own water bottle to fans in need. The concert itself was really good (even though we still missed Bang and were chanting his name from time to time). I loved being able to hear Howler in it’s Spanish home and Zelo went wild with the butt-slaps and butt-wiggles. During Do What I Feel, he threw his towel to the crowd and guess who was the lucky one to catch it!  It still has his makeup on tho :D.

Haha, towel-kun has seen some things... At this point I knew. For 5 years, I didn’t manage to choose a bias in B.A.P. That was the day my bias chose me (lolololol)

The only kind of OK clips that I got from the concert was Youngjae’s acapella “I’m happy” and Jongup’s “Try my luck”, because I was trying to enjoy the concert too much which resulted in my hands being extra shaky. 

There was also a lottery where they chose a random number and a fan for every member got a small canvas bag with member’s drawing and autograph on it. And a hug. At some point, Youngjae managed to hurt his shoulder, I hope he is ok now. Them teaching us the fanchant for All the way up was pretty memorable since they almost booed Daehyun off the stage because he couldn’t contain himself and do the right thing. And Zelo just went like “OMG, it’s our song”. We also had a support project for Himchan where we held his banners and chanted his name.

My high-touch experience. While we were standing in a line, the organisers started to let B.A.P take their positions near the wall. To get there, B.A.P walked through a small bordered area which was right next to where some of us were queueing. I noticed Himchan and told him “annyeong” for which he raised his head, looked at me and just had the cutest smile ever on his face. I made Himchan smile, everyone! I don’t know if he noticed that this is the one person who never manages to greet him correctly (me in Warsaw, Seoul and now Madrid). He was also first in line at high-touch and he was still so extra smiley at me. 

To sum up the high-touch experience, this is basically it:

I mean, there were so many things I wanted to say (just one sentence to each member), but I couldn’t do anything because it was too fast. I tried to tell them stuff in English or Korean, but they tried to tell me stuff in Spanish and in English and it was honestly such a mess. It was so funny. Then right after we had the group photo so I fastened my steps and got next to Zelo. After everything I just had to go to him. I could tell he did something over my head while taking the picture since he was touching it, but I had no actual idea what. The picture turned out better than I expected. I am not really good friends with cameras, specially when I don’t even know, where the cameraman is or when the picture is exactly taken. Got the cutest photo ever and I will now officially present my short ass as “Zelo’s armrest” since this is what he used me as.

Tbh, I had to photoshop my face on the picture a bit, because the camera reflected on me so bad that I looked like a Christmas tree in a Colgate commercial. Literally.

Anyways, after the short time for pictures, I could pass by all of them again and thanked them, especially Zelo, when I turned around. I love them all so much and I had soft hours for days after we got to know that Zelo shouldn’t have even been on the tour but he insisted to come. Made it all 10 times more memorable and important.

I wish I could also go to Yongguk’s tour. I don’t know if it’s possible, because I have already emptied my bank account for them. So I guess we’ll see what happens. I hope he receives a lot of love and support anyways.

The Arrival 1-1

-arrival time 5:45 am-  Here I was standing in the middle of Incheon International Airport looking for the person to pick me up from here. People were zooming past me not paying any attention to where they were going. I felt like I was in a mosh pit at a concert not able to move around being pushed in every direction. All I knew was that they were suppose to be wearing a black shirt with the word STAFF on the back holding a sign with my name on it. I looked frantically around and almost gave up after 15 minutes of no luck. //thought to myself// What have I gotten myself into? I was skimming the crowd when I saw a short girl with a sign that said “WELCOME y/n USA” all the way in the back of the crowd. She was even having to stand on a small stool to even see over the crowd. I motioned to her I was coming over there. She excitedly started to jump and down when she saw me.

“HI! I’m Miko! I will be driving you to your new place!” She gave you a surprise hug and squished my cheeks. I wish I had that much energy this early in the morning. I was sluggish and had major jet lag.

She helped me with my bags which were heavy as hell. I felt like I packed my whole life away in these 4 suitcases. I left everyone behind in the states to accept this job for BigHit, and I even broke up with my boyfriend to take this job. Probably the hardest thing I had to do.... so I thought.

We started walking towards the exit and she asked me, “ Are you ready for a huge commitment?” I looked at her confused and said, “What are you talking about?” She started going on and on about the job that I applied for consist of. I honestly didn’t know it was going to be all this work. I was so nervous to meet the guys especially.  It was a good bit of a drive to get to the apartment they reserved for me. It was literally right across the street from the office. Thank goodness because I would have gotten lost in a heartbeat in the fast pace town of Seoul. 

As we arrived at the doorstep of where I was going to stay for the next year I had this urge of nervousness shoot through me. It hit me that this was real... that I was about to make my dream come true. She knocked on the door and a guy answered it. He was tall, handsome, and looked like he just woke up. He was wearing nothing but gray sweatpants and his hair all messed up.

You could tell you were blushing as he was rubbing his eyes to wake up. Your face felt like it was on fire. You started to get dizzy then you felt Miko nudge you to introduce yourself. You snapped out of it finally...

She whispered, “This is your roommate.... go ahead and say hello. He speaks English so its fine” She pushed me forward a little.

//thought to myself// What in the heck... how am I suppose to have a male as a roommate?? How were we suppose to sleep in the same room and not get distracted?? I have all these questions for Miko, but I couldn’t ask them right here or now while he was standing here half ass naked.  “Um, hey I’m y/n. I think I’m your new roommate.” You check your card and the number on the door just to make sure Miko misread the number, but she was right...... you are staying here. The guy finally realized what was going on and said, “OH HEY ROOMIE!!” He gave me a slap on the back and welcomed me in. “Whats up? I’m Jackson. Jackson Wang.” He held out his hand for me to shake it. I slowly put my hand out there and he grabbed it and started shaking it vigorously and made my whole body move. He started laughing realizing I was so nervous.  Then it hit me.... “Wait a minute. Jackson as in... Jackson from...GOT7?” I knew I recognized that name from somewhere. “Miko, why in the hell am I roomed with Jackson??” Miko turned slowly from the sink and grinned. “Its how we do things around here now. Things have changed. Everyone in this building are staff and idols living among each other. Don’t worry though, y/n. I am right across the hall from you roomed with Jennie from BlackPink. I will let you get settled in. I will be across the hall if you need anything” She gave me this grin and slowly left the room. //thought to myself// BUT WHY AM I ROOMED WITH A MALE.. this is going to be a long year.

I started to unpack my things, but as I was putting up my clothes Jackson was over there getting dressed. In the corner of my eye I saw him take his pants off. I guess he thought I wasn’t looking. Do you blame me for not trying? He glanced over as I was looking and I almost fell over my suitcase trying to not let it be known I was looking. -_- To late.  “It’s okay to look, y/n”, Jackson said. I’m sure you’ve seen a half naked guy before in the states.” I was shocked he wasn’t embarrassed. I was also shocked he wasn’t trying to hide his goods. 

“I uh, I - I mean I have seen my ex boyfriend naked. It was just a shock to see you change in front of me, sorry” I was scrambling around the room trying to act “natural” which was hard to do when you are roomed with a idol. He started laughing and grabbed me by the arm. “Look, calm down. Take a deep breath”, he said. I could feel my face getting red and he was only inches away from my face. My heart started racing and all of the sudden someone banged on the door which made both of us jump back away from each other. “Come in!” Jackson yelled.

In came this tall mysterious guy with a clipboard and a ton of paper attached to it.

“Yeah, I’m looking for a y/n”, he said with a sly grin.

I was in shock still from Jackson being that close to me. He finally nudged me and I was like... “OH yeah that’s me” - Jackson was laughing at the fact I was still shocked.  “Alright - I’m Soowa. I’m the lead directer of the department you are going to be in at BigHit. I help with all the personal assistants to all the idols here in Korea. Read over these papers and turn them in tomorrow when you arrive for your first day. You won’t be doing much except meeting everyone and getting use to the schedules. OH - and don’t be late. Be there in the office at 7 am dressed to impress. You will be meeting the guys of BTS so you will need to show you are ready to work.”

I just stood there both excited and nervous. “How many other people will be there to meet everyone? Is it just me?” Soowa turned slowly back around,” Yes, its just you that got the job out of 15 other people. So make it count. They really liked your resume you sent in. I can tell you that you will be working with each member 1 on 1 teaching them English since it says you are an English major. That’s probably what got you the job. Plus - you will also be assisting them with whatever they need. When I say whatever they need... you need to give it to them.” You noticed he said that with a sly grin. My heart started to beat faster getting nervous about what hes even talking about... “whatever” they need... Your trail of thought wondered off as you notice him leaving.. Soowa continued,” I will meet you in the lobby actually at 7 am so you will know where to go and not get lost. The building is confusing to some.” I nodded my head and he walked out of the room. I went to lock the door and I totally forgot Jackson was even in the room. I turned around and he was right there in my face. GOD he smelled good too. I shook my head to get the thought out of my head. I couldn’t help but fantasize about him. He noticed you getting flustered and backed off a little.  “Look - if you start to feel weird around me... let me know. I will back off. You seem like a down to Earth type of girl, y/n. My last roommate got fired because he was late to work 5 times. Like Soowa said... Don’t be late,” Jackson said in a more concerned tone.  I was making my way to my bed to sit, but he grabbed my hands again. I could feel my hands getting sweaty. I literally have never been this close to any idol or ANYONE famous for that matter. I should have known I would be around a few working for BigHit. Never in my life did I think I would actually meet Jackson Wang though. 

He gave me a great big bear hug ,and you took in a deep breath. I felt like I held my breath for 5 minutes to take in the glorious smell. It was strange he was hugging a total stranger, but I did not mind at all. It did calm me down a bit.  “It’s by Versace,” Jackson said while laughing.

He walked over to his desk and threw this blue bottle at me. It was like catching a brick. I’m glad I caught the dang thing. “Oh - nice. I’ve never owned anything Versace in my life,” I told him. Jackson walked over to me and said,” Well, that bottle cost about 120 bucks.” I almost dropped the bottle as he told me how much this small bottle cost. I handed it back to him so I wouldn’t accidentally drop it since my palms were still sweaty from being nervous around him.

We stayed up talking a long time getting to know each other. He helped me fill out my forms because some of it was in Korean, and I was still learning. He offered to teach me Korean if I would teach him more English. I agreed and we talked til around 11 pm about the most random stuff. “Ahhh, we better get in bed. We both have to get up early in the morning,” Jackson said. I looked at the clock and I panicked. “Where do I go to freshen up?” I asked. I didn’t even realize we get our own bathrooms. Jackson pointed to this small slender door to the right of his bed.  “The bathroom and shower is in there. Be sure to turn the knob hard when turning it off or it will drip. That noise gets on my nerves at night.” Jackson was laying in bed with his earbuds in. I figured this would be a good time to get in the shower while he’s busy. I took a quick shower, and forgot to get clothes to bring in there to change into.......great. I wrapped the towel around me and peeked out to see Jackson asleep already. I walked to my closet and grabbed my PJs and walked past his bed to see him laying there with his hand in his boxers. You really couldn’t help but stare at every inch of his body. I went to put the cover over him, and that’s about the moment he grabbed my arm and pulled me on top of him. I looked at him and noticed he was still asleep. What. In. The. Hell. I tried to wiggle my way out of his grasp but he was strong even in his sleep. I couldn’t imagine what he was even dreaming about because he was moaning and mumbling something. I tried to shake him awake so he would let me go. Finally I slapped him upside the head. “YAH - let me go you pervert!” I yelled. Jackson woke up to find me on top of him with my towel on, barely. I was rambling on about how I couldn’t get loose, but all Jackson was doing was staring at me in awe. I snapped my fingers to get his attention. “Helllooooooo - my eyes are up here Jackson.” -_- For once he was speechless. “Look I was trying to cover you up and you grabbed my arm and pulled me on top of you and even in your sleep you’re strong as hell and I couldn’t get off of you. Are you listening to me?!” He started walking towards me looking me up and down. I started backing up into the door to the bathroom. He got closer to me, and I felt like I was about to have to defend myself. “Get your pajamas on, y/n. You’re still naked and its very tempting to try and hit on you right now,” Jackson said while trying to stay calm. I did just that. Got dressed. Got in bed. Went to sleep. I remembered to set my alarm at 6 am so I had enough time to get ready. Tomorrow was a big day.

Welcome to another interview from The Hills Weekly! This week we go to sit down (figuratively) with one of the boys of Exo, Kana Oh. He dished the latest about his life, the album and what he’s looking forward to in the weeks to come. 

Interviewer (INT): So you're part of the kpop group, EXO. Tell us about what it's like working with 8 other men and who you deal with conflict.

Kana Oh (KO): it's....interesting. generally it's fun. i mean we've been friends for years. i know them like the back of my hand. we all have our strong points and what we do best and we use that to make the best music and concerts that we can. as for conflict? we talk it out. we lay it on the table and figure the situation out. it's the only way. we spend so much time together there's no time for BS and messing around things.

INT: It certainly does sound interesting. But it must be a great time having so many friends around you. Is there anyone in particular you seem to get along with better?

KO: for sure. our company put an abundance of different people together and we're from all over the world to be honest. but i guess i would say if I was to be the closest to anyone it would definitely be thorne. we're both from ireland, and he's been my best friend since we were young. i was five when i first met him, him three. inseparable since. it was pure luck the company decided to keep us together in the same group.

INT: The two of you have some history definitely, for knowing each other for long. What exactly does that history entail?

KO: what does it entail? there's a loaded question. but why not try complete honesty. a lot of drunken times. a lot of sex. an engagement. broken heart. and eventually back to best friends. simple as.

INT: Wow, that is a lot. But it doesn't seem that simple. In the past week, it was seen that you were also dating Thorne's girlfriend, Jagger but after the blowup last night, you are now with Angelique. Care to clear any of the air with that?

KO: honestly. i don't care to comment on it much. people have formed their opinions on it and on me. i don't care either way, it doesn't keep me up at night. all i'll say is the past is the past. angelique is a beautiful woman inside and out and i care for her a lot and that's where it's at.

INT: Fair enough. Do you want to comment on people calling you a misogynist?

KO: the definition of a misogynist is literally pinpointed as a person who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women. i am NOT a misogynist. i like women, a lot. but i also like men, a lot. but when it comes to women, i may have had quite a few of them in my years. that's not a secret. but never have i ever mistreated them. i was raised right. my mother instilled it in me to always treat a woman like the queen she is. and i uphold that. i have sisters, i have a niece, i have close friends who are women, i would be doing them the worst kind of disservice by turning out to be a misogynist. basing the fact that my relationship ended and a new one began as the reason i am one, is ridiculous.

INT: Well I'm glad that we could clean up the air on that point. We know EXO's album drops in less than 24 hours now, how do you feel about it?

KO: sure thing. i'm excited. i look forward to it. The War is going to be our fourth studio album so its reception will be highly anticipated. we would like to continue the success that we have nationally in korea and internationally as a whole. we worked hard on it so it's sort of satisfying to have it come together and be on the brink of release to the fans.
