you mentioned youve been drawing for over 15 years,,, can i ask if you can show any older art?
im a rather young artist but ive been drawing for around 3 years so i feel very discouraged with my progress. around what time did you become comfortable with your art?
(ID in ALT text) at least i tried roughly i am sorry
this took me a while to reply, hope you are still around anon. I really mean it when i say "i have always been drawing". i could dig up even older drawings i did (courtesy of momerrino's inability to trow anything away) but sorting through that could take forever...
so here is a brief selection. some can be found when you go back to the beginnings of my tumblr here. or on my old DeviantArt account or twitter.
i was around 14 in 2009 i am 30 now. idk improving takes time and patience. and perhaps even to learn to appreciate your own pen ship.
#chip!art#i am a bit sad that i can't find my old aang and katara drawings#tbf they are not vary special because i remember vividly how these were traced by putting a peace of paper on my pc screen#and tracing their faces and then coulouring it in#but it was like the begining?#in between i hat an atla oc hahah#a waterbender guy and his girlfriend and a pet#oh well its been SOME years... wild#also funny how i always was designing outfits....#tiny me did#inbetween me did#i designed outfits for friends???#gosh could it be i am actually good at this... weird.

Hello! I know it's probably weird to receive a message like this out of the blue, but I was actually really excited to see that you were on here!
I don't know if you remember the site, but I actually first found your art on Sketchfu like? Years and years ago. I actually found out you were on here when I was going through some of my old Deviantart accounts and I happened to take a glance at the artists I was watching at the time.
Sorry if it's a weird thing to bring up, but I kinda wanted to say that you were one of the artists I knew of back then that really inspired a young me to keep drawing.
So I guess I just mean? Thank you for being around!
Oh god I haven’t thought about that in years! it was such a long time ago! What are the chances you would find me, that’s impressive! (See this is why keeping an online handle for decades is totally worth it) and is not weird at all! It actually makes me insanely happy, man to know that someone liked my old art enough to eventually find me in a completely different site? Amazing.
I will be riding this high for the foreseeable future, thank you Anon!!

Seeing that you've been here since 2012 is INSANE like you've witnessed it all huh. You've seen probably SO many weird and crazy things in this fandom like man that's so cool for you I feel...
ive def seen and participated in a lot of dumbass bullshit over the years LMAO. although notsomuch during the skybound-to-seabound era cuz i'd lost interest for a bit
Random shit I remember off the top of my head (plz feel free to fact-check):
deviantart era: (2012-2013)
that bright green ninjago ask meme
like, literally everybody making self-insert purple ninjas (sometimes orange, teal, or rainbow) and shipping them with their fav ninja
everyone making their own genderbends of the ninja. cole was almost always called nicole or colette lmao
people also naming their accounts (name)-the-ninja (or "teh-ninja", since this was 2012)
there's a non-zero probability that if you were in the fandom during the season 1 era, you're a furry now
naruto crossovers
half-snake ninja aus.........wonder who uh......who could've done that.....heheh (me) (that was my whole deal pre-nindroid!jay lmfao)
everyone posting like, doll-maker things they made of ninjago? especially dragon ones
(me) posting leaked screenshots of season 2 eps that i found on the lego wiki or smth lmao. this is also how i found out zane was a robot. i think i kept posting leaks when i moved to tumblr
legends of chima releasing and i thiiink it was supposed to be a ninjago replacement? like, legitimately? though a lot of people weren't happy about it. "furry gang drug wars" was a phrase used a lot lmfao.
tumblr era (2013-2016 for me) (may overlap with dA era)
everyone losing their minds over the shirtless ninja in ns2 lmfao
that one video of kirby marrow (rest in peace) saying cole was 14
that other vid of like, behind the scenes and it was the ninja's actors but like in-universe? it's where "cole bucket" comes from
also some behind the scenes vid with the actual voice actors lol
thinking back on this, im like 100% sure it was bullshit but when the end of rebooted aired, there was a rumor going around about fans being so upset over zane's death that they carved a snowflake on their stomachs. lots of people were freaking out lmfao
the rise and fall of "fucknoshittyninjagoOCs" (ashamed to say i heavily participated in harassing this blog even if i rlly didnt like the premise.........)
maypong
lots of tension with instagram cuz of all the art reposts. like. tons of reposts. i remember someone blocked me when i said to take something down but then unblocked me the same evening and apologized LOL so
roleplay twitter accounts (twitter was kinda not-as-a lot at the time)
nindroid!jay of course. its so old there was an update that was made in flash lmfao...
absolute fucking shitloads of AUs and headcanons. i dont think this has changed much but like. there were so many lmfao. entire threads
actually there's too many fucking AUs. im scrolling through my main blog and i cant fuckin find anything cuz ITS ALL THESE STUPID AU THREADS THEY AREN'T EVEN LIKE DEEP LMAO
ask-all-the-ninjagians
the absurd screenshot redraws i did. like they were super stupid lmfao. icr which blog they're on but they're on my comp still at least
ninjagians just. being a term used at all lmao
the ninjago fan-tournament during ns4. people would draw/write about their ocs doing whatever prompt was posted and then everyone came together to defeat a big bad snake man
tbh i started naturally losing interest during ns5, and then VERY QUICKLY dropped the show (and therefore fandom) when skybound came out lmao............... so i dont really remember a lot from this era and everything after
and now im back :D
i hope this is insightful! xD

OCT (Original Character Tournament) taking auditions!!!!
This is a project I forgot to continue, but here's the text and the DA link!!!!
Have you wanted to join a Original Character Competition, but you're really late to the trend, or just got into Endzone/Law of Talos and got inspired and decided to join one? (definetly did not happen to me just now.) Whatever your situation, I bet you want to join one, if you're viewing this journal. Well no fret, for I'm opening auditions for a (very late) OCT,
Combatacademy!
Currently there's 1/16 places taken, so submit your auditions if you're intersted! I will update this as we get more contestants.
LORE (PLEASE READ THIS!!!)
Combatacademy was founded by two people, currently unknown, who had a strange idea of making a competition in a big old school. They hired some teachers and janitors to act as the faculty members, and chose the competitors very carefully and with care.
The OCT is located in a big old school, with three floors. Each floor has many classrooms, closets, and other rooms schools usually have. The school also has a big gym, a cafeteria (that works as the main hang out space for the contestants), a pool, a massiye yard with large, almost 9ft tall electric fences, a basement with a large, dirty, maze-like sewer system, and some teacher's rooms. More info about the school will be revealed later, remember that the OCT is a WIP still! ^^
The judges will be my friend group and me, and the OCT will be held on my personal DA account, which is this one you're viewing this journal on! So be sure to stick around if you're interested!
We will allow any kind of digital or traditional art, as well as literature. The main art types that are recommended are:
- Comics and animations, as usual
- Still art, as long as the winner can clearly be figured out from the art.
- Those but trad art is also fine
But the main factor is that you had fun doing it, am I right? ^u^
Anyways, be sure to watch (follow) me if you want updates, as I will probably make some more stuff about this before the OCT really starts. Let's hope we can bring this genre back!!
(Auditions can be posted here on Tumblr, on DeviantArt, or on X (Twitter)! You can post a piece of art of your oc, and tag me on the post! Have fun! ^v^)
Edit: Honestly, I forgot to mention that I will personally draw every character that joins!! So you'll also get a free commission at the same time. I'm also so happy that we have some people joining! It really makes me happy to see that people actually care about this ^^ Thank you to everyone who has joined already!

I found a sketch of this dead art on deviantart. And was so attracted to the idea that I went and found your tumblr account, used colors from the gravity falls show, and made a tumblr account. For this one purpose of delivering it!
OMG OMG
I CAN'T BELIEVE I NEVER SAW THIS
I'm so sorry 😭 The Tumblr app never told me, at least I don't think, or I would have 100% responded sooner, I swear it!
This is so so cool!! And regarding your second ask where you clarified that you wanted to ask if I approved...
YES!! I APPROVE!!!
It's so cool! You have no idea how giddy this made me!!
I'm answering asks for one of my other blogs right now, and the app pooped out on me mid response for one of them... so I switched to my computer, and apparently using Tumblr's website instead gives you much more view of all your notifications and messages, so I FINALLY saw this and it has absolutely made my day! Thank you so much!!
I completely understand the love of Gravity Falls merch. I dunno if you're still onto all that, but my siblings and I definitely are. I am soooo jealous of my sister, who just got the Book of Bill for her birthday.
Anyway, if you're still out there, thank you so much!! This kind of stuff drives creators like me INSANE (/pos) so thank you thank you thank you!!
I really should update this blog- add as much of my old art back to it and then start up keeping with new art I make...
And yes, I am very much considering making new art of the Pines twins as MLP characters. Thanks for the idea and visuals!
#Gravity Falls#gravity falls fanart#Pines twins#Dipper Pines#Mabel Pines#MLP fanart#MLP#Uhhhh I dunno how tagging XD#I should create a tagging system and fix up this old place 😄

could you show a little bit of your art progression over the years? your style is absolutely magnificent btwbtw!!
sure ! i've done a similar post, but that was focused on shape language and didn't go over all of my art progression. i'll link it at the end of this post!
anyway, i started digital art around 7 years ago, but all of the art from that period is essentially lost. at that time, it was just deviantart bases and various furry/warrior cats fanart made in MS paint. while i'm not a fan of vivziepop anymore, she was a big inspiration at that time, as well as a handful of popular animation meme artists at the time. around 2019, i started making art in krita using a mouse. and later that year, i started making art in ibispaint (mostly skullgirls fanart). unfortunately, practically everything from before 2020 is lost because it was on reddit accounts that i had deleted out of cringe. don't delete your old art ever!!! i do have this piece though, made in 2020 on krita with a mouse. my main inspirations were invader zim and other cartoons.
my artstyle took a lot of dips and turns around this time. i got back into anime, and it influenced my style in a way that i think made it really ugly and bad looking. i also refused to ever flip my canvas. i think this era actually held me back. here's an example.
anyway, by 2021, i had gotten into more anime that influenced my style in a different way. i forget the exact ones, but i did watch a lot of stuff from trigger (like BNA and LWA) at the time, and also got into enstars which influenced my compositions a lot. it's also around the time that nova in her current "space astronaut bunny" concept was born. i started experimenting with backgrounds, color palletes, and colored lines, which was crucial. i look back at this era pretty fondly. though i still refused to flip my canvas :D
by 2022, my artstyle looked like this -
(this is actually from dec 2021 but like. it's still what my artstyle looked like)
i had played world's end club and rewatched panty and stocking, and it changed my brain chemistry. i decided that my artstyle would be "60% anime, 40% western cartoon", and despite some shortlived phases where i'd go for a slightly different style, i still kept it up. looking at least year's art summary, though, you can see that i broke away from that style for something more anime. and also, i hardly ever experimented with colors anymore because i was focused on character design. i'm gonna be real i think everything after july looks like absolute bootycheeks. i hate this weird single tiny dot reflection style i had going on it looks like dogwater.
after 2022, my art was in a miserable transitional period where i had zero clue what direction i wanted to go in. but despite all that, this piece in particular is crucial. because i used halftones in the background. it's foreshadowing!!!
i continued like this for a while, until the time where i decided to play around with shapes with those vocaloid big 8 drawings. people really liked the shapes that i used in that one, and i found them fun to draw. so i started exaggerating more, and after i rewatched panty and stocking for the 307492020506th time, as well as invader zim for the 2nd time, my cartoony roots came back.
and then, when my art was already steadily improving, across the spiderverse dropped, and i watched it. funnily enough afterwards i had a big art block because i was just thinking, "you need to draw if you want to work on something as big as that! improve!!!!" which kind of held me back. but after all that, i decided to take a note out of ATSV (and comic books in general)'s book and start using halftones in my work. as well as that, i started focusing on lineart way more, and tried to play around with lineweight. which brings us to present day, where my latest art pieces look like this :
i still think that my artstyle needs a lot of work. even these pieces have issues when it comes to symmetry, values, and the like. but nowadays, though my art takes far longer now (as i've abandoned special pens and just do lineart with the hard dip pen in a kind of tedious way), i'm having more fun with it than i have in years. i think halftones fit my artstyle really well, and they're a unique way to "fill up" areas. now that i pay attention to lineart, i think it makes my art feel 'fuller', at least with more depth. did i mention my inspirations for this current 'phase' of my art? :0 i've been playing a lot of muse dash lately, and my pinterest boards are always full of stuff from TWEWY and megaman. there's far more than that, but in short, i want a sharp and striking style with bright colors. i know that you said a little bit of my progression and i basically dropped a whole essay 😭 ,,, but i really like talking about art in general even if i'm not very good at it. i hope this was interesting at the very least! here's the other post also:
#ask zeno#zeno's art#long post#VERY long post#i reallly wish i had my old art to show you guys but oh well#i think my art is improving maybe

Materia Gains (Heidegger TF/MC)
(Original Date of Upload: June 23, 2024)
Original Description:
My half of a trade with Catolyst! His half can be found here: DeviantArt / FuAffinity. Truthfully I've been wanting to write a Heidegger TF for a long time. Ever since I first played Final Fantasy 7 Remake, actually! I even had a relatively lengthy concept for one that I ended up not writing. Although I did end up retooling a lot of systems from it for this story! Mainly having it involve a materia trigger since, honestly, materia is the easiest trigger concept imaginable. I've seen about three different Final Fantasy 7 TFs involving materia and one of those I wrote like two years ago. But also I find it extremely fun! Although I should perhaps take a stab at using non-green materia some day. I'm going on a tangent though. This was a really fun story to write though. I feel like I handled age progression descriptions a lot better this time around than I usually do! I'm also really proud of the mental changes and corruption for this one. It feels like I haven't done a good corruption story since the Roquefort one from last year. All-in-all, super satisfied with how this worked out! I'm also very happy with how Catolyst's art for this trade turned out as well~ Makes me realize how many times I've gotten one-eyed old men as part of trades with him. I wonder if this'll be kept up in future trades... Anyway, thanks Catolyst for this trade opportunity! It's always a pleasure to work with you, and I look forward to doing so again in the future!
The ticking of a clock echoed ominously within the confines of the waiting room that Cato was currently in. For a good chunk of the past half hour he had found his gaze constantly flicking between the time display on his phone, and the aforementioned clock. The email said that his interview was scheduled at twelve o’clock precisely. And it was currently eleven fifty-seven.
Three minutes…
He hoped that the actual interview room wasn't as bad as this room. The polished wooden walls and red carpeting had given the waiting room an elegant look, but it added a certain level of ominousness that he wasn't very fond of. The massive, presumably locked double-door that was positioned to the wall opposite of him also gave this place a certain vibe he couldn't pinpoint. One that was professional, but in an off-putting kind of way. The only compliment he could give was that the seats were comfortable to sit on.
Two minutes now…
Cato’s stomach was still in knots from the stress he was experiencing. He admittedly still wasn't too sure what this interview had fully entailed. The company’s name on the job finder site was relatively vague with it just being titled ‘SRA Industrial Incorporation’. The listing was also for a position in the public relations sector. Nowadays that probably just meant running some kind of social media account for the company or something. Such a thing has never seemed like the most riveting of jobs, but if it paid well then he didn't really mind. But the overall vagueness of the situation didn't really give him much hope for anything.
He checked the time again. One minute now. Damn.
He then resumed his thoughts. This place didn't seem to be that bad at least. The tower the company was situated in seemed pretty nice, and the furnishing within it was at the very least comforting. So while Cato didn't really know the specifics of what he might be getting himself into, what's the worst that could-
His internal spiraling is broken when the room’s massive door opens. Stepping out of it was a woman with blonde hair tied up in a French twist, and wearing a dark red satin dress. She only gave Cato a single glance before coldly stating, “The President will be seeing you now.”
Cato just watched as the lady walked back through the doorway, taking a few seconds to fully register what was going on. He was having an interview with the company president? Do companies tend to even do that!? He then shook his head to break himself out of another spiral. He'd rather not start looking like he's staring off into space when he knows he might be in the eyesight of the people who're interviewing him.
Standing up, Cato begins walking towards and into the room. Despite his earlier hopes, the interview room was effectively equally (if not more) stress-inducing than the waiting room he was previously in. The room was somewhat lengthy, which he reasoned was to fit the relatively long rectangular table that he could only equate to being like one of those large meeting tables in movies. He had counted about eight chairs surrounding the table, three being on each of the longer sides while there was one per short side. However despite the daunting seat count there were only two other people here besides him.
One of those two people was the woman, who had now taken a seat in one of the chairs on the table’s long side that was furthest from the entrance. Meanwhile the other person had been sitting in a seat that was both directly opposite to the entrance and the actual furthest distance away from it. This person seemed to be an older-looking man with thinning blonde hair and a mustache, who was wearing a dark red suit. The man was also staring right at Cato as he was inspecting the room, a rather intimidating glare tangible on their face.
Cato had quickly taken note of the fact he was being glared at, which was more than just mildly uncomfortable for him. So he just sat down in the chair on the table’s short end that was closest to the doorway. Then, with an awkward wave and a smile directed towards the other man, he said a simple, “Hi?”
A silence befell the room for a few seconds as the man (the president of this company, Cato presumed) broke his gaze to look at a few papers he had in front of him. “So I take it you're-” he paused to squint at the paper, “-Cato?”
Cato nodded. “Yep,” he responded. He tried to keep his focus on the other man’s eyes to maintain eye contact but every so often his gaze would flick around the room for a second or two out of nervousness. It didn't help that his thoughts rapidly drifted during these pauses. Between the man’s suit and that lady’s dress, mixed with the sheer elegance of the rooms of the building, he had a feeling he came here a little underdressed. A flannel shirt and jeans did not make for a good business fit…
“Hmm,” the rumble of a hum in the president’s throat really echoed through the room. “So what made you think you'd be a good fit for our Public Safety position?”
Cato blinked a few times. Public safety? He could've sworn the listing said public relations. “Uhh, well-”
“Especially since your credentials don't really align with the job you applied yourself for,” the suited man outright stated. Although there was a strange lack of frustration in his voice.
“A-admittedly, I thought the listing said something else,” Cato started to explain, nervously tugging at the collar of his shirt as he spoke.
“And that was?”
“Public relations…”
A stiff silence entered the room after he admitted that. The woman and the president looked at each other, seemingly having some kind of mutual conversation in the silence somehow. Then with the passing of a few seconds the president restored eye contact with Cato.
“A very easy mistake to make,” he started. He set the papers flat onto the table again. “Not unnoticeable though. I'm sure you're probably wondering by now why we'd even consider you despite your clear lack of expertise in this field.”
Cato raised a brow. The thought didn't really cross his mind until now thanks to the stress, but now that it was said out loud…
“I like to consider myself a generous man,” the president continued. An odd smile was now gracing his previously unfeeling face. “Not many get a chance to reach the interview process here at SRA Industrial Inc., even less with such a clear difference in interests to what we need.”
Cato watched as the man promptly plunged a hand into the jacket of his suit. He rummaged around in there for a few seconds before pulling out what looked to be a green, crystalline orb. “That's why I'd want to offer some… on the job training for you,” he then put the orb on the table. “Mainly because I see great potential in you, Cato.”
Cato was already feeling a bit confused at this proposition. “Well, my field of knowledge hasn't really been in public safety, so that would probably require a lot of training…”
“You'd be surprised at how often that happens here at SRA. Even I had no knowledge of handling a business once, but that didn't stop me from… getting taught and building this company from the ground up.”
He then flicked his hand, the action propelling the green sphere across the table and towards Cato. The sound of stone rolling across wood reverberated through the air as it traveled before it conveniently slowed to a halt at Cato’s end of the table.
Cato just eyed the object, feelings of curiosity and suspicion forming in the man’s mind. “Uh, what is this exactly?”
All the president did was smile and give a single, cryptic response. “Consider it a little… gift from me.”
He then stood up from his seat. “Now, we'll give you some time alone to consider our proposition. Although I can promise you that doing so would be very beneficial for you. So think long and hard about this…”
He then looks at the woman, who herself was starting to leave her seat. The two nod to each other before taking their leave, exiting through a door that was located at the side of the room. Cato watched as the duo exited the room, sighing in relief once the door fully shut behind them.
“Ugh, that was weird…” he muttered to himself as his gaze wandered towards the strange sphere the president had rolled towards him. The dim green glow mixed with various shades of spiraling green was oddly satisfying to stare at. Now if only he knew what this thing even was.
He picked up the orb. Despite its appearance it was oddly light. Furthermore it seemed to glow brighter from his touch. “Weird gift. Come to think of it, it's really weird to give me anything even though he hasn't hired me yet…”
Cato then sat back in his seat and began to idly futz around with the orb in his hand. He wasn't sure what to think about in regards to anything about this interview. He'd rather have gotten a rejection email instead of this. But then again they are offering him genuine training to fit whatever needs they require of him in regards to public security. Although he does wonder what kind of company this is that it requires a sector for public security of all things.
“What did I get myself into,” Cato said with another sigh.
A few more seconds pass with the man continuing to casually shift the orb between hands. A part of him expects the duo of executives to walk through that door to get his answer, but nothing really happens. That is until he makes a fumble that causes the weird crystal to slip out from its cycle in his hands. It quickly dropped onto the ground with a hard thunk!
“Shit-” Cato immediately got up from his seat to pick up the orb. Luckily it just dropped onto the ground right next to his chair, so he didn't have to go searching under the table for it.
“Please don't be cracked, please don't be cracked,” he panickedly repeated, rolling the glassy crystal around in both of his hands to inspect for any breaks or bruises. On the plus side there hadn't seemed to be any judging by a few seconds of inspection. Those few seconds of inspection proved something else however. The orb seemed to be glowing brighter, and a green aura was coming off it and seemingly surrounding his hands.
“Uhhh, what the…?”
With each second longer the aura seemed to last, the more a strange sensation entered Cato’s hands. A rising pressure that overtook them both. A feeling that resulted in something very, very strange…
The most evident manifestation of this strangeness was a building pressure in both his hands. The feeling of pressure increase seemed to cause a physical change in growth within each hand, both steadily getting larger as the gem’s aura stayed prevalent. Each passing second making both hands stretch out wider, lengthier. Even making them a bit thicker by granting them a more meaty appearance. This had also resulted in his fingers developing a bit of chunkiness to them as they too thickened, alongside seemingly lengthening to fit with the new proportions of his hands.
The size of his hands didn't seem to be the only thing changing either. A rougher texture had started to settle within the skin. This was more noticeable in the back of each hand as this roughness set in, which was accentuated by the sparse growth of black hairs in the region. The front of his hands weren't left unchanged either as the once soft skin of his palms hardened the longer they held onto the glowing orb. They still remained skin, but it was a bit whiter and weathered with calluses. Both of these alterations combined seemed to prove a certain aging effect was setting into Cato’s body by this weird crystal.
Or, at least, he thought it was the crystal’s doing. So in the sudden panic that was forming from watching his hands rapidly age in front of him he dropped the orb back onto the ground. Another thunk echoed off the walls of the meeting room as the green sphere hit the ground.
Cato didn't care about the object anymore. He just looked at his hands, his older, rougher-skinned hands, and his jaw clenched in worried anticipation. He was waiting for some kind of sign the changes would be reversed now that he wasn't holding whatever that object was anymore. “Come on, I dropped that thing so you have no reason to look like this anymore!”
The green glow of the glassy crystal continued to persist however. And even on the ground the mist-like aura of it seemed to stretch out and towards Cato, thick and translucent tendrils of green circling themselves around the man. Whatever he did earlier seemed to have activated something in it, and it had no intention of stopping.
So all he could do was let out a frustrated, “Damn it!” as he watched the furthest ends of his shirt sleeves begin to fill out while a mixture of pressure and heat enveloped his forearms. An indicator that the changes had evidently begun to move beyond the confines of his hands.
The primary manifestation of these changes was a sudden growth in musculature within the region. Cato was a typically skinny guy, but that was becoming quickly contrasted as his extensor muscles thickened. This had resulted in the fabric of his shirt sleeves to steadily strain over the bulking ends of his limbs. Roughening skin rubbing up against the soft material, crevices of his newly forming muscles indenting into the patterned red of it with ease.
His upper arms weren't immune to this either. The skin across both limbs would continue to age upwards, accompanied by a thickening layer of arm hair that had taken on a deep black tone instead of his usual blonde coloration. Beneath it all his muscle mass would continue to burgeon, presumed years of workout being added to his form in mere seconds. Biceps and triceps both heated up and swelled in conjunction with each other. His deltoids began thickening soon after which resulted in a roundness developing within his shoulders. As both these changes grew in prevalence it further added to the heavy strain that his shirt was undergoing, alongside adding some pressure in his undershirt now that everything reached the upper half of his limbs. So many crevices and indents that represented the divides in muscle groups, all continuously etching into the fabric as his arms developed a definition that they didn't have prior. It wasn't a surprise that just a few seconds after his arms stopped bulking up, the sheer disparity between their new and old sizes would cause a few tears to form at the seams of his flannel’s sleeves.
The sound of fabric ripping pierced the air. Cato’s attention ended up being drawn to the newly formed rippage, his eyes focusing on a tear over his bulkier bicep. Although the cyan of his undershirt’s sleeve was visible so he couldn't see if his skin had changed beneath it. Judging by the mild itching on his arms though he had a feeling it was. Come to think of it, his chest was also kind of itchy too.
With that realization, a groan of frustration escaped Cato’s throat as his gaze left his arms and moved over to his chest. “What the heck is that orb thing even doing to me!?”
The answer was pretty obvious considering the rapid increase in mass the man was accumulating. With his focus on his chest now he could see just how much it the transformative aura was causing it to push and swell forward. Size greatly accumulating within the region as heat continuously spiraled around his core. In just mere seconds the relatively flat and undefined nature of his chest was altered by the rapid gain in musculature. The front of his shirt pushed out bit by bit as his pectorals swelled and thickened. Soon the upper buttons of his shirt strained against their eyelets, the two forming slabs of raw meat just increasing the pressure his burgeoning size was putting on his attire.
But then after a few more seconds something else started to accumulate on Cato’s chest. Some more size was added to the now larger region. However this size wasn't from another gain in muscle. Instead it seemed to be from fat. A layer of fat blanketed his pecs, the once raw and hard beefiness getting a bit softer as a result. Although it still seemed to retain a significant level of definition as both pectorals would take on an appearance more aptly describable as soft slabs of meat now. Though the addition to their size from the fat had resulted in the pressure in his flannel’s placket coming to some semblance of an apex as the top-most button broke, followed by the one beneath it.
Concurrent with the changes in their chest were those in the torso’s lower half. His belly churned and bubbled, the muscles in that area altering and developing to grant the region definition. What little fat there was around his stomach was pushed away for a moment as abdominal muscles slotted out sequentially. Top-most, middle, then bottom-most, pushing out like shelves on an off-balanced drawer. Combined they would give Cato a solid six-pack that pressed up against his undershirt, indenting into the cyan fabric of it with ease, while simultaneously pulling against the buttons of their shirt like their pecs had been doing.
The strain in their shirt buttons yet again increased exponentially as the changes in their abdomen continued. Adipose would yet again rush across his newly manifested muscles, raw definition seemingly smoothing out as fat continuously formed within the region. It didn't even stop at the natural amount that Cato had prior as more and more fat continued to get added to his stomach region. Larger it swelled, pushing up against his shirt buttons more as the thickening belly steadily pushed up his undershirt. Then one by one each button broke their associated, if not straight up snapping off his shirt, as the pressure from his fattening belly finally pushed them beyond their limits.
“Mmf, thought this was just gonna be… gettin’ buff,” Cato commented as he held his stomach. His jaw remained clenched as he eyed the musclegut he seemed to possess now. His undershirt had rode up it a bit, seemingly now bordering where it could cross above his navel. It also seemed his fatter body was getting perfectly outlined by the cyan t-shirt as his chest and stomach pressed up against the fabric of it. His gaze had also been privy to what seemed to be a bush of thick, black hairs trailing up the midline of his gut.
The hair would run beneath his shirt of course. A treasure trail of hair rushing upwards to touch the forest of fuzz that overtook his chest. A thick, bearish body would be an accurate description of the form he had been rapidly adopting. Especially considering the sensation of strength that seemed to course throughout his newly developed musculature.
His initial panic was steadily dying down as those sensations of strength and bodily warmth amplified. “I still don't know what the fuck this orb’s doing to me but-” a tingle catches in his throat and he stops to cough. “-it feels kind of good…”
He blinked a few times. His voice sounded off in the other half of that statement. It sounded a bit deeper than it had usually been. A little bit more aged than it used to be. “Of course it'd start changing that too…”
It was still hard to fully accept what was going on though. These changes were weird, this whole situation was weird. Was the weird spherical crystal supposed to do this? Did that guy even know this was going to happen? Was this supposed to convince him to work for them?
“Who am I even becoming…?” he asked himself verbally. It feels like this was just aging him up more than anything, but that seemed mildly implausible considering the black hairs that rapidly covered his body. Perhaps this is what that president guy meant when he said on the job training?
“Urgh, that bastard has a lot to answer for once he gets back!” Cato said to himself in frustration. Although after the statement was spoken aloud he realized how uncharacteristically aggressive that sounded of him. Placing a hand at the side of his head he tells himself, “That was… weird…”
The crystal's aura only grew stronger, and Cato couldn't deny the mild buzz entering his brain as the green glow intensified. A strange fog in the back of it ever so slowly billows forward and around. And with it comes this strange sensation of brutishness that was steadily implanting itself into Cato’s personality.
“…might be right though. Fucking changing me like this against my will.”
Cato’s gaze wandered away from his gut and onto the ground. His eyes focused on the glowing green sphere, gaze lingering. There was a sensation of resentment towards it that was welling up within him, one that coincided with a conflicting feeling of empowerment. He should hate this, but he also loves the way his body is turning out.
The conflicts in desire and personality clashed in his mind, although Cato’s face didn't seem to show it much save for a tightening in his jaw and a low, almost growl-like groan coming out of his throat. He tried to ignore it for the time being though, and instead just idly nudged the green orb with a foot. “This is a lot of trouble you're giving me here. This better be worth it…”
He would be lying if he said there wasn't a small fragment of something in the back of his mind telling him it will.
Of course, as he knocked his foot into the object he was given a proper view of what seemed to be some bulging within his shoes. The brown leather of the toecap seeming to have garnered a level of bumpiness that it did not have prior. Guess his changes hadn't stopped during all this introspection.
And assumption would be a correct one as all while Cato was thinking about the ramifications of the transformation, things had moved beneath his waist and started to properly layer onto the lower half of his body. The newfound broadness of his body that came from both the muscle and the fat resulted in the diameter of his waist increasing a bit and putting some stress onto the waistband of his jeans. This pressure had manifested most prominently at the button holding the fly of his pants shut. Although due to his wider waist and the weight of his gut it didn't take long for that button to break as well.
Meanwhile the increase in muscle mass has finally become apparent in his legs. Both thighs were rapidly thickening, hamstrings and quadriceps burgeoning to the point that the new thickness had already begun breaking the seams of his legwear. This allowed a few hairs to poke out from the tears, proving that the sprouting of follicles had been rushing down his legs as well. It seemed as though the changes in his legs were not unlike those that happened to his arms earlier.
The lower half of his legs were quick to follow. Once the transformation jumped past his knees, the hairiness seemed to increase quite drastically while his calf muscles bulged outwards. Bulkier and rounder, everything indenting into the denim while simultaneously splitting it apart. All the while the concurrent sensations of burning heat and raw strength continuously spiraled and practically coiled around his legs like it had to the rest of his body. It was strange, it was mildly overwhelming, and it was… stimulating, in a way.
Last had been his feet. More black hairs continued to sprout across the top of them as yet again a substantial amount of weathering seemed to overlay his skin. The size of both feet increased as the width and length stretched larger, and the overall thickness of them was in the process of increasing as well. All of this combined caused his footwear to rapidly become ill-fitting. Sides of each foot digging into the insides of his boots, heels pressing into the back, bridge straining against the tongue and strings that held it shut. Then there had been his toes, steadily getting chunkier as well while squeezing up against the topcap of what he was wearing.
“And here I thought I looked unprofessional before…” Cato muttered at the sight of his ready-to-burst shoes, alongside his generally ripped up clothing. He had also made a mental note about his voice changing still. Deepening still while developing a layer of huskiness to it that it didn't have before. It almost sounded like it had been aging alongside him.
Then again, he needs all that age and experience…
Cato blinked in confusion at the thought. He was also still clutching the side of his head. “Urgh, head’s feelin’ foggy still-”
His attention had been drawn away from the lower half of his body. This resulted in his focus not being there once his now larger feet broke apart his shoes. The toecap peeled away from the soles as his now lengthier appendages pushed forward and were freed from their confines.
Although by now things were finally starting to creep up his neck as well. The region thickened a bit to better fit his new proportions. Internally things had shifted a bit more, vocal cords settling into their alterations with the intention of making the deep and aged huskiness of his voice permanent.
“Grrugh, this isn't… right…?” Cato expressed to himself. The statement felt wrong though. Denying this felt wrong. How could this intense feeling of… of power feel wrong. That thought only made Cato groan some more as he now held both sides of his head with his hands.
Meanwhile his head had also been in the process of transforming. One of the most prominent portions of this transformation had been in his facial hair. The beard and mustache he had usually sported deepened from their usual blonde to a dark black. Hairs grew down the sides of his mouth in order to join the two portions of facial hair together. Meanwhile the surface area of his face that was bearded seemed to grow with the thick growth of hairs running across his jawline. This would cause the density to become quite substantial as well with his beard continuing to attain a level of bushiness that would fit his more bearish body. Furthermore, it seemed the initial spikiness that had carried over from his old facial hair would get smoothed over as his new beard combed itself into a neater, more well-kept style.
Concurrent with his facial hair alterations were the shifts in his facial structure. As hairs sprouted across and overtook his jawline it pressured and restructured into a broader and rounder shaping. This came with the rest of his skull broadening as well. The attributes of his face would end up heavily altering as this occurred. A straightness entering into his nasal bridge while a roundness encompassed the ala and apex of it. His ears pulled back a bit so as to not stick out the sides of his head too much. And while the structuring of his eyes didn't alter too heavily, his eyebrows took on a shade of black while the ends neatened to a point and the overall shape of them became more of a high arch instead of straight. However the most drastic of these changes had been what happened to his skin.
Heavy amounts of weathering embedded within it, practically darkening it a little bit as it did so. Years of age settled into the once young man’s face with him rapidly leaving his 20s for his 30s, then 40s. More and more age settling in with deep laugh lines etching around his mouth and various wrinkles forming to continue doing away with what smoothness his face once had. 40s would move onto 50s, eye bags would form beneath his eyes while a scar slashed into his right eye. By this point it would also seem like the new texture of his skin was more leathery than anything else. Although the aging would stop here with Cato having taken on the appearance of a man in his really late-50s.
Of course this would also mean the rest of his hair had to change to fit. More and more brightness continued to fade from it all as a wave of black overtook each and every follicle. Furthermore there had even been faint streaks of gray running through his hair and beard as well, seemingly added during the rapid progression of age. As this occurred the stylization of his hair seemed to shift heavily. While it retained its thickness, the messy and unkempt spikiness of it was dispelled. Instead it would all comb into a much neater, straighter, swept-back style. One that accentuated a more professional appearance in the man than what he had before.
“Fuckin’ hell-” the now much-older man yelled in frustration. His physical transformation had slipped his mind at this point as the mental components were reaching a level of prominence that were noticeable. That level of anger that was practically uncharacteristic for Cato was enveloping him as his brain wallowed in conflict that he couldn't just casually ignore. Everything was becoming so contradictory.
His brain was just being overridden with thoughts and memories and desires that weren't his. And in truth he couldn't even tell what he was anymore! His mind tried in futility to hold onto the portions of identity that were the self that came in here, but the longer that damned orb continued to keep its misty tendrils on him the more things continued to slip. The menacing, brutal anger and frustration overtook his former, calmer personality. Niceties were melted down into a distinct lack of care and understanding for anyone but himself. In general it would seem like he was experiencing a corruption of greed and an attainment of a lust for power in mere seconds. It was overwhelming.
So all the man could do was groan again before saying, “Get out of my head!” It's questionable which part of himself was urging the other to leave though. There was too much of an imbalance in his mentality, one that was rapidly being corrected by the magic of the green crystal. And considering that rising temperament and arrogance it was already clear which of the two dueling personalities was winning…
The effect of the transformation still hadn't come to an end physically however. His clothes were still ill-fitting for someone of his position and that was something that had to be corrected. Splotches of black rapidly enveloped the cyan of his undershirt as the material seemed to thicken just a bit. As this occurred a split seemed to form in the middle of it as fastened buttons materialized up and down the middle of the clothing article. All the while the sleeves seemed to lengthen to cover the entirety of both arms. There had also been the shirt’s neck that grew as well, rising upwards around his own neck before folding downwards to create a shirt collar. The t-shirt had seemingly morphed into a dress shirt. A change in formality that was accentuated by the manifestation of a red tie that snaked beneath the collar.
Similar shifts had occurred in his jeans and boots. The blue denim shifted drastically as black washed into it as well, the hard material restructuring into a material more fitting for formalwear. Rips and tears would easily fix themselves as well while their size increased to fit the man’s wider stance and thicker legs. So much so that the muscularity would no longer be prominent through the material. Meanwhile the rough texture of his boots smoothed over, brown shifting into black as a sleek leather look overtook them. Yet again would the strange effect of the crystal also end up fixing and refitting his footwear while also causing the strings to sink into the material to be replaced by new ones on the growing top line.
All of these changes in clothing paled in comparison to the part of his attire that ended up undergoing the most drastic transformation though… his flannel. Red patterning rapidly faded as a dark green completely enveloped it all. Rips and tears and improper sizing were all fixed in mere moments as the once soft material thickened and practically roughened a bit. The shirt’s split moved closer to the middle of his body, seemingly ready to refasten itself, meanwhile the hem of his shirt steadily inched downwards bit by bit. The cuffs of both sleeves lengthened a bit as yellow accents circled the end of them, alongside the formation of three golden cufflinks on each sleeve. The collar of his flannel seemed to lengthen by just enough that it could graze his face, meanwhile the shirt’s split folded a bit to gain a lapel. The rightward segment of the split also seemed to gain a thick yellow accent that had a series of black buttons lining it in two columns. These allowed it to fasten itself over the leftward segment. Although both segments seemed to gain belt-like additions that could also be fastened to these buttons but seemed to remain not. Although an actual belt seemed to material over the shifting attire and around his waist. It was made of black leather and buckled with a golden diamond-shaped buckle. The hem of his ‘shirt’ continued to lengthen beneath the belt, rapidly doing so until it was just short of his thighs. It would seem his flannel shirt had fully morphed into a military tunic.
With his clothing shifted, the physical aspect of his changes came to an end. And considering the fact the blue coloration of his eyes was rapidly shifting to a brown it would seem the mental aspects had been slowing down as well. The once foreign thoughts were rapidly becoming a mainstay as what was his former self was being pushed out by this new identity. Memories and confirmations of who he is now overlayed, if not almost fully replacing, what existed of his old life.
His grunts and groans slowed as his frustrated holding of the sides of his head ended. Both hands slipped down to his sides as he blinked. The man, Heidegger, let out a deep sigh, then let out a hearty laugh. “GYAHAHA!! That was quite the scuffle!”
His gaze then went down to the green orb on the floor. Bending down, he picked it up and analyzed it. “Didn't know Materia could do somethin’ like that. Impressive…”
“So I take it you won out over that man, Heidegger?”
Heidegger stood back up and turned towards the source of the voice. Coming out of a door at the room’s back was President Shinra, with Scarlet arriving not long after.
“Yup,” Heidegger idly bounced the ball of Transform materia in his hand. “Rather easy too, despite him putting up a bit of resistance.”
“They always seem to,” the President responded as he took his seat again. “Of course those with weaker wills succumb to the influence of that materia one way or another. Speaking of, hand it over. I don't need you breaking our one way to reform this company.”
Heidegger rolled his eyes before placing the orb on the table and nudging it towards the company president. “Reform the company, eh?”
Shinra nodded. “Exactly. Since my arrival here I've made it paramount to re-establish the Shinra Power Company, alongside our respective positions in the social hierarchy.”
“Interesting,” Heidegger smirked. His heavy footsteps could be heard as he made his way to the one unoccupied seat closest to the president, which had also been the one positioned opposite to Scarlet. Although he had purposely been ignoring her this whole time-
“Well, you know with how loyal I am to you that I'd be very happy to help with this endeavor,” Heidegger eyed Shinra with a cruel smile. Part of him was already hoping that they'd be able to reform Shinra’s military sect. Doing so might even make procuring victims relatively easier.
“Now then, might I suggest something to you?”

I just found your art from a few years ago again and I’m so elated that you’re still active!! It’s really cool, I luv. I’ve been in this fandom forever so it’s always a nice surprise seeing that not everyone deactivated or moved. Your stuff is lovely! Keep it up
heya thanks!! im very much against deactivation 1) because i deactivated an old account of mine like 5000 years ago and still regret some of the stuff i lost that ill never recover and 2) i've went thru so many people's stuff i love, whether on here or youtube or deviantart or whatever, delete their accounts and mourning the loss. i dont wanna do that to anyone who likes my stuff even if in some cases i would rather not think about it LOL bc it's important to some people and i honor that. plus in the case of this blog in particular i really have nothing but fond memories so i have no reason to nuke it.
besides i still like eddsworld and still like coming back here every now and again :3

Reference of my current sona :]
Ramble Mcshambles under the cut!!! sorry!!
blehhh he doesn't look like a miscolored enderboy anymore LMAO
he was always originally part enderman. I think those aspects of the design fizzled out till only the eyes remained intact to its Minecraft origins; since I made him to be my Minecraft skin originally (I unfortunately don't have screenshots or copies of the original skin anymore)
He's still an enderman I guess? just not traditionally. He's a mix between these two images I found years ago and I sorta headcanoned them as my sona's parents because I thought it was funny
(The blue enderman was uploaded online anonymously and the enderman on the right was presumably uploaded by itofuko on Deviantart but it seems that their account doesn't exist anymore)
He eventually started losing those enderman roots in his design and started becoming his own thing though (like i said earlier) so if anything, him being part enderman is merely just factual and not really the entire point of the design anymore.
I think it's mostly the stripes that took over, the cat hoodie is a separate character. They're morphed by little cat that can phase into and possess objects and become one with them. the old designs had a cat head on Tai's shirt, initially, the creature was supposed to work like a "mini maui". a design that was supposed to become sentient from time to time, except it had the ability to phase out of his shirt (losing the cat head design) and becoming a normal physical creature
I can't find my concept art of them, but there are these screenshots i found of their design used in an old animation :]
Anywayzzzzzz
Here's a few of Taikko's old references!:
Posted on April 14th 2021, Very visibly tall and lanky and heavy on the dark colors
Posted on May 23rd 2021, somehow with the redesign looking younger than the older one. probably went along with the change of artstyle, losing the sketchy style but still keeping it angular.
Created on February 15th 2022, this was the reference for the current redesign. a change in wardrobe and facial anatomy but lacking an update on the palette.
And that brings us to his reappearance in June 20th of this year! implementing more blue and inheriting the eye style and cheek markings that mikyomix had.
Really happy to exist again with a MUCH BETTER COLOR PALETTE.
Taikko is very special to me since they were the character I've been using to present myself online for a long time and there are a lot of good memories attached to him. He honestly feels like a part of me and I'm just really happy to have him out here again <3

Wade/Nancy is an artist who's been surrounded by negative opinions. She currently works under the username Grisgrisdoll, but she's widely known as the name that haunts her past, Kastoway.
I've seen many, many accusations being thrown online against this artist, but I noticed that for many people spreading them this knowledge is secondhand. I found her Deviantart account some time after she changed her username to Kastoway in the beginning of 2014 due to my hyperfixation on creepypastas at the time. I never actually followed her, but I visited her account every now and then, so if I missed something important, it was because of that and I will be glad if you tell me. In this post, I'll list the incidents in chronological order *with evidence* and then give my own opinion at the end.
One thing to know about Wade is that she has had many different names and usernames throughout her life. In addition, she is comfortable with people using either "she", "he" or "they" to refer to her. I'll be alternating the pronouns and using both her names.
He was 13 when she created Ticci Toby [1]. He posted her first drawing of him on the 19th of November 2012 on DeviantArt [2] and Toby's origin story one year later on the 23rd of May 2013 [3]. Wade changed the personality of Toby to make him less upbeat, more tragic and more scary. One of the first instances where he showed discomfort with how people portrayed Toby that I remember was in a publication she posted on the last day of 2013 [4]. This situation ended up with a small redesign of Toby on 5th of February 2014 [5].
She took a short break from DeviantArt around July [6]. It was this year when her creepypasta blew up out of proportion. Previously, she had expressed her desire for Toby to only be shipped with another creepypasta character called Clockwork. However, many people didn't like Clockwork and didn't respect this wish, leading her to further getting tired of the creepypasta community. By october of the same year, her Deviantart bio said: "Most people know me as the creator of the creepypasta story "Ticci-Toby"-- which yes I am, but I prefer not to be constantly called out for it nor only recognized or appreciated for it. I do not contribute to the creepypasta fandom anymore so please don't ask me about it. Thank you" [7].
One issue that is frequently overlooked when discussing Wade's actions is her problem with impersonators, as she stated on a status in November [8].
On 14th of December 2014 he made a post trying to solve all the turmoil that had formed because of shipping [9]. He stated that he had asked people not to ship Toby with anyone but Clockwork because that was what he was comfortable with, but he realized that decision was pointless and didn't care at this point. The situation had gone out of control and there were people bashing creators who shipped Toby with others or with their own characters. He apologized to the hurt and asked people to stop the white knighting. In addition, he recognized "I wasn't prepared for my character to become popular on the internet. I really wasn't. I never thought it would happen and I'm still not good at dealing with it. In fact I suck at it, it's true". He was 15 at the moment.
In 2015, they got into Marvel, even having a tumblr blog where she drew Deadpool replying the asks of her followers. At the end of their bio, it could be read: "I will not reply to notes or comments regarding Ticci-Toby or anything Creepypasta related, sorry." [10]. This message was deleted months later, so their profile didn't mention Toby or creepypasta anymore. They kept the folder for her creepypasta drawings in their gallery tagged as "old".
In April 2016, he had to warn the general public that Toby wasn't real and that he was his creator [11]. People had been spreading misinformation, saying that Toby was real or was based on a real person. Wade feared that something like the tragedy of Wisconsin could happen again, it was a serious concern.
In May, Nancy made a post saying that people could still ask her about Toby [12], but later in June that year, she decided to step off the internet with the purpose of trying to improve her life, archiving the majority of her work [13]. Later in 2017, she updated her bio to let people know about her new instagram account where she mostly posts original art. It was at this point when I stopped checking her content completely, as this account, called bonejars at the beginning, was private for a while. She hasn't been very active on DeviantArt apart from the times she announced her podcast.
On the porch: Episode 2, 16 April 2020, started a wave of negativity against them. I didn't watch it at the time and it is now private so I can't say much about it, but they did some clarifications on her instagram stories later. Many users took screenshots of them and they can still be read [14]. In them, Nancy says that they came to terms many years ago with the ships, that they left the fandom because all of the drama made them miserable and that they'd wish Toby to no longer be associated with the creepypasta fandom. Despite this, they don't want people to stop doing what makes them happy, they said they're ok with headcanons and people reinterpreting the character, that they like the fanart as long as people don't profit from it. They said "I know what escapism is like and using fiction to cope with life. I would never wanna take that away from anybody". Later, they had to make further clarifications because people accused them of wanting to take Toby away from the fandom.
On 25 abril 2021, Nancy posted a new redesign of Toby on his Instagram account [15]. This version of him was significantly different from the last one. The character is older, wears different clothes and looks more realistic due to Nancy's art style development. With this design, he looks like a character from a slasher.
Many people weren't pleased with the redesign due to thinking the reason for it was to invalidate the previous one. Consequently, they brought to the surface controversies from the past. Nancy was accused of having supported two controversial figures in the creepypasta community: Laughing Jack's creator Steve Aikins (Snuffbomb) and Sally Williams' creator Shilo (la_mishi_mish).
Steve presumably harassed his ex-girlfriend and talked indecently with several young girls back in 2014 [16]. I haven't found evidence of Wade supporting him and I can't remember exactly what she said. If someone has screenshots of it, I would be grateful.
Shilo used to draw NSFW art of Sally [17]. This character is canonically 8, so she usually aged her up in this kind of content. However, she posted a compilation of sketches depicting Sally and Jeff the Killer having sex in 2015, stating it was ok for them to have intercouse because they were both 13. Shilo was 22 at the time. Several sources indicate that she stopped drawing mature content due to social pressure. Nancy and Shilo follow each other on instagram to this day.
There haven't been more references to Toby on Nancy's part since then.
◇ Ok people, get the pitchforks because now I'm gonna give my opinion!
So, what can we accuse Wade of? Of being an idiot and a hypocrite when he was a teenager, of having bad companies and managing fame poorly. I don't think we can blame them for anything else and feel that a big part of the hate they receive is undeserved.
I think she was a hypocrite because she got angry with an interpretation of Toby that she had at the beginning. What's more, Toby's story uses an interpretation of Slenderman that was invented by the fandom, proxies are not canon. It's like a fanfic of a series inspired by just a couple of photos.
Still following Shilo is yikes. However, we don't really know if they're still close and I'm personally gonna give her the benefit of the doubt. Defending Steve was a bad move, but, as some people have pointed out before, he was a teen when that happened, way younger than Steve and she could have been convinced to think he was innocent. Shilo is older too.
Being that young, she wasn't prepared for facing the bad sides of fame. Ignoring stuff, going radio silent and then saying things in the heat of the moment didn't help her a bit, but it was all that occurred to her at the time. She's tried to explain things in more detail in recent years just to go back to saying as little as possible because at this point, people get angry for whatever she says.
People say they're homophobic. Their instagram account refutes it.
People say he was mean and insulted the fandom. I remember reading a couple of statuses on DA that I thought were insensitive, but that was a long time ago. People grow and he's changed his mind a lot as you can read in his instagram stories. If you say these things referring to the post where he told people Toby wasn't real, I'm sorry, but I think he had all the right to be harsh. People said Slenderman was real, it ended up in a tragedy and now the same things were being said about Toby. Can you imagine how it's to feel you're responsible for someone's death? He was trying to protect people.
People say she went after artists that portrayed Toby in a different way than hers, yet every time she's said something that ended up hurting people, she took responsibility and apologized for it. I don't believe this person could go and directly hurt someone. Remember what I said before about her issues with impersonators and people white knighting? That could be what's happening. Even now she has problems with people pretending they know her, so be careful!
People say they have abandoned the character many times. It's true they've said they didn't want to talk about Toby on four different occasions, but I don't think they did it with that intention. Why did they redesign him then? The design we all know is inevitably tied to the creepypasta community and they want to move on from it, that's why they didn't want to talk about him. Now they made a version of the character that isn't tied to that world, so we have two Tobies, one for them and one for us. I think that's cool!
Many don't like that they can't use the old version to earn money, but I want them to understand that this is a really particular situation. Usually, people making commissions of characters that aren't theirs isn't a problem when the creator is getting money on their own (unless you're Disney, Disney has no chill). This isn't Wade's case, she has never been monetary compensated for creating or drawing Toby and she has the right of choosing not to allow the commercial use of her characters. "Give for free what you were given for free" is a rule that makes sense in this case.
I don't expect anyone to stop disliking Wade, you're free to feel whatever you want, but at least I hope that this post helps people to see that all of this is more dimensional than just "kastoway is evil". At the end of the day, she's just a dude that fucked up many times and I think her experiences can help us to not commit the same errors.

I've been in a drawing mood recently and when I was going through my old drawings in my parents basement, I came across some scrapped mew mew ocs. I only really remembered having Mew Kaki (my main oc) and mew jagaimo (the blue one) from when I was younger, but apparently I had made a whole team and just...never drew them together. So I decided to spruce up their outfit designs and fix up the color scheme (I had four orange themed mews...four...I don't even like orange that much) and give it a shot.
I used a base from @chiarasweets's deviantart account to make drawing a little easier. that can be found here.
from left to right they are mew kinkan (kumquat, scimitar oryx), mew kaki (persimmon, woylie), mew nashi (pear, mahogany glider), mew jagaimo (potato, short tailed chinchilla), mew chocolat (chocolate, axolotl), mew anzu (apricot, riverine rabbit), and mew gwen from ben ten mew mikan (orange, red panda).
for color explanations: kumquats are orange and yellow so I made yellow the prime color, potatoes can come in blue and purple, apricot's skin turns a pinkish red if exposed to the sun, and the inside of a blood orange looks pretty red. Thank you for you time.

Hello, it’s been a while… I’ve finally climbed outta my hole and am feeling reflective. Allow me to bare my soul for a moment.
2024 had me feeling like a blobfish.
Some of my thoughts about my 2024 art journey and where I want this account to go below the cut
(TL;DR: your gurl gonna be more active and dabbling in spicy art come 2025):
2024 was strange year for me… to keep it short, I rediscovered and reevaluated parts of myself, fell back on bad habits and am in the midst of growing as a person. I feel like my art has mirrored this journey with my own perfectionist tendencies; for the first time in a while, I have hit a space where I’m drawing fully for the joy of it. Maybe because I’ve let some of the perfectionism go, I’m actually noticing positive changes in my art.
Part of my rediscovery was reclaiming that “weird art kid” that I’ve put on the sidelines for a while
I’ve always been terrible with keeping up with social media posting (even back in my DeviantArt days), but I think that stems from how I used to view it in relation to my worth as an artist. Moving forward, I’d like to try using this space as a journal. There will be a lot of shouting into the void and weird rambles and doodles. Feel free to ignore or hang out.
Back to art… I’m really excited about moving back to digital art. I don’t think I’ll ever give up traditional pencil, pen and charcoal , but I found myself hitting a wall with character drawing this year when I was only using a pencil and pen for rendering. I want to explore character creation, colour and maybe get back into making comics.
I’m going through my “weird, ugly art phase” and I’m okay with it. I’m figuring out a lot of things in my drawing. Right now, I’m in the phase where I’m getting lost in the details and am trying to work towards simplifying my lineart. Feel free to enjoy the ride with me.
I’m going to dive back into my OCs (including DnD and player characters) now that I feel like my style has hit a point where my characters look like the way I imagine them in my head. I’m looking forward to introducing you to some of my pencil/paper blorbos.
I’ve been on the fence about it for a while, but life is short. I’m gonna explore some more spicy art this year . I need to practice my anatomy anyway.
Some New Years Resolutions:
Interacting more: thank you for those of you who reached out. I’d like to be better at chatting with y’all on here. Idk... I’m working on it
Posting once a week: that’s the goal at least. Even if it’s WIP, this will help me stay connected instead of crawling back into the hole
The good, the bad and the ugly: I want you to see it all! I’m trying not to be weirdly self conscious this year
Thank you for listening to my yapathon and happy new year! As a gift, here are some old sketches from earlier this year when I fell down a Zenless Zone Zero hole.
Peace out party people!

Figured it’s time I make an official pinned post. I’ll edit this to make it prettier later.
🧡 Hello all! I’m Ren. Or Kart. Or whatever name you can come up with for me. I’m genderqueer and respond to any pronouns idrc. I’m a college student at the moment but for some reason I’m prioritizing this stuff over that. Not looking good for me.
I have YT at the end of all my usernames because YouTube was where I got my start on the internet and my old YouTube presence is very important to me, even if I don’t post there as frequently anymore.
Some stuff about me!
🚫 DNI: I actually don’t care for DNI lists at all. People have their own interests and opinions and idc as long as you aren’t a dick to me personally. Obviously I don’t care for dicks I don’t need to tell you that. If I don’t like you I just won’t interact with you myself. No need to tell you to avoid me because that’s redundant. I like most people enough, so you’re probably fine. That being said, my content is 14+ and sometimes 16+ because of more mature content/themes but also because I just don’t want to interact with kids. No offense if you’re 13 or under but I’m just not comfortable. If you get traumatized it isn’t my fault.
⁉️ BASIC SHIT: I tend to swear sometimes. Not super important but worth noting somewhere. I don’t usually use consistent capitalization/punctuation. I like to type without caps like sans undertale because it’s a vibe idk. I draw a lot, if that wasn’t already obvious. My favorite colors are orange, red & purple. My favorite animals are opossums, lions & crabs. I love psychology/philosophy and that bleeds into my love for horror games like SOMA & Fran Bow. I also love Sci-Fi stuff like Portal & Chappie (I love sentient AI in general). My comfort game is Night in the Woods. I love They Might be Giants. I’m short. I’m asexual grey-panromantic. My fursona is Smae the little cat demon guy, & my Ponysona is Lotus Medulla, the brown spotted earth pony with orange and grey-green hair. Amber Gleam used to be my ponysona for many years but now she’s just my AU protagonist/mascot.
🗯️ CONTENT/FANDOMS: I tend to fluctuate between my fandoms in cycles, so be aware that I may not always post stuff all about the same content all the time!! If you’ve already been following me for a while you’ve noticed I reblog a lot of different fandoms. The primary fandoms that I cycle between are My Little Pony, FNaF/DSaF, Sonic the Hedgehog & Undertale/Deltarune (sometimes). In the background I have some constants such as SOMA, They Might be Giants and furry stuff. Namely my original story Almost Normal which was originally made collaboratively with @crepecakez. That will get its own section here. Other basic forms of content I post here will be sorted by their own tags, like my art and asks. i don’t usually tag my reblogs that way they don’t clutter this organization.
🎨 MY CHARACTERS/ART: I have a lot of extra content for my characters and art on my Deviantart and Toyhouse accounts. Each character that has a dedicated toyhouse page will almost always have a direct link on their posts (aside from asks) to make their important information easy to find for those interested. All of my characters will have tags specific to them so that any content of them can be easily found. I allow shipping of my characters as long as it doesn’t directly contradict canon. By this, I mean characters can be shipped during times if/when they weren’t already in a canon relationship. I also allow some stretching of characters’ sexualities for storytelling/headcanon purposes (like Tallis having a bicurious phase when he was younger despite being straight etc.)
As for use of my art, I’d rather you not repost it anywhere without my knowledge but I am aware that the kinds of people who repost really don’t care about what I think so that’s why I have watermarks. You can trace my art for learning purposes only but I require credit for it. I also want you to tell me if you do trace or otherwise edit my art publicly because I want to see it. Same rules apply to my characters! Please credit and tell me if you draw them!
🦄 MLP STUFF: Most of you will probably be on my blog for this. If you’re interested in my mlp next gen AU, I recommend looking at the tags I use for it. (mlp au, mlp next gen, etc) Once I actually come up with a name for my AU I’ll add a tag for it to all related posts so dw about that. If you don’t care about my au specifically and just wanna see my general horsie art then check out JUST the mlp tag in particular. I do use other tags for it too BUT they can be inconsistent among my posts so the mlp tag is most reliable across the board.
☀️AN STUFF: Almost Normal, formerly known as Heart-Stabbed, takes place on an alien planet. Most of the cast originated as foursonas/algebraliens from when Crepe and I were in the bfb fandom. Nowadays I draw them as furries but they may be drawn in really any anthropomorphic designs without directly contradicting canon. If you wanted to, you could draw them as humans, or as aliens of some kind. (which they canonically are, since they do live on another planet) They really don’t need to be furries exclusively. Go ham. Tags are self explanatory for them, since I tag them all with the Almost Normal tag as well as the aforementioned character name tags.
🔞 NSFW: I can’t really stop NSFW art from being made if any of my characters go viral or whatever but I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT!! I did say that I allow shipping but I do not ever want to find straight up p*rn/smut of my characters. Only cute or silly art please. Suggestive themes are allowed just not explicit imagery.
Sorry that this was like extremely long :P
#i’ll masterlink some of these important tags for you here!!#mlp#mlp au#mlp next gen#mlp next gen au#almost normal#my art#ask

2008
It's nothing revolutionary, but I think when I was a kid I felt a lot more free to explore the things that I was naturally drawn to. But for some reason all throughout my life I always pushed everything off to a time of "later." Like when my favorite bands were playing a show in my town I would forego it thinking they'd come back eventually, I would never dye my hair green because it never made sense to. Now that I'm an adult, a lot of those bands broke up (and we're never getting a Title Fight reunion) and I work in finance so I can't dye my hair green.
This is all just coming to mind because I found the login information to my DeviantArt account from literally 15 years ago, and there is one writing sample on there that was actually pretty poetic and not that bad for a 12-year-old, albeit it completely fantasizing about turning into a vampire. I still have a deep obsession with vampires even though I don't really talk about it. I mean, actually, what is there to talk about. I do deep down wish for every Halloween that I could dress as a vampire. I did one time in college, and I actually have never felt better about myself. Maybe I should research vampires in depth more. Maybe I should write another vampire fanfic.
On that point, this is sort of where I'm coming from with writing this. Since becoming sober (today is day #422), I feel like I'm getting to know myself all over again. Part of the reason why I have to be sober is that I am the type of person who wants to do everything to an extreme, to a fault - if I can't do something the most then there's no point in starting in the first place. With drinking, it was that if I couldn't black out then why would I start drinking in the first place? Alcoholics rise up. Anyway, that characteristic about myself (in AA we call some of these things "character defects" which I find unfair at times) is giving me this attitude about rediscovering my interests that can be entirely unhelpful. I love painting, and I'm decent at it, but if the painting can't be exactly how it is in my brain then I have trouble starting it. I've always wanted to learn how to play guitar and start a band, but if I can't write music that sounds exactly like the music I want to make then why should I take a class? It's very difficult to work around this mindset.
I don't think that I am unique in this, at all. I think that a lot of people have this problem. Artists say things all the time like the best thing you can do is to just get something on a page. That's why challenges like Inktober exist, just to give people prompts to draw more often. I know that you can't ever get better if you never even try. I really don't want to have an existence where I have a laundry list of things I've always wanted to do, but was too afraid to do them. I know 27 is relatively young, but it simultaneously feels too old to start with anything that I want to. I know that that's not true, but that's just how I feel. I feel like I have lived a lot of my life so far fueled by fear - fear of being broke, fear of looking like a lazy addict. Throughout my alcoholism I got a master's degree and got myself a job in investment banking. I think if I truly loved myself I wouldn't have done that.
I still have a lot of fear, but I want to fuel myself from it in a different way. I'm afraid to die without ever having lived in another country. I'm afraid to never have worked through the misogynistic competition trauma that I got from my mother. I'm afraid that I'll never perform on a stage again and feel the warmth of lime light. I'm afraid that I will lose my ability to communicate with people in French, and I'm afraid that my brain will become too weak to improve my Russian. I'm afraid to stand up to my parents and tell them that I have tattoos - they're big tattoos, I can't hide them for much longer. These are all things that are on my "bucket list" that come to mind when people say to "grab life by the balls" or whatever, but every single one of them takes work and that is so scary. My throat has that quivery feeling right now and my eyes are getting wet thinking about my life having to muster up the courage to do all this, but I'm most afraid of never finding the courage. I am a very strong person. Very strong. I can do it.
I remade a Tumblr account to start a blog just so I can write these things out into the ether. I do have a journal, but there is something about writing a blog that brings me a deep comfort. It's because I am a child of the internet. I was raised on Tumblr, I firmly believe that it shaped me into the person I am today. I already mentioned Title Fight, green hair, and vampires, didn't I...?
I also have other things I want to write about, more serious things with a lot more structure. I am thinking of starting a SubStack just to get some of my ideas out there. I saw on Tik Tok the other day that a woman was "launching" a SubStack. That is so serious. Do I have to officially launch a SubStack? Should I draft my essay and have it peer reviewed first?
This is the first of my rambles. I speak like this in person, too. Feels good!

☁️: What made you choose your username?
I think I wrote about it somewhere nefore, but it is a great idea (I think) to make a full post about it!
So let's start with Luna part. The name is really nostalgic for me. When I was a kid, my mom would always lovingly say I am like Luna from Harry Potter. So empathic, artistic and in her own world. Since then I saw her in different light and she became my favorite character. I started to sign my artworks as LUNA (and the name wasn't popular in my country then and isn't now, we don't have a name like this so it was even more special for me that way)
Then when I went to highshool, my then new best friend ordered me to make an OC so she could draw them and that's how Golden "Goldy" Rose came to life. At the beginning she looked so different than is she looking now, she was made so fast and without a thought and was drawn on paper. So then the best friend talked me into pursuing the arts of digital and then to make a DeviantArt account (she wanted soooo many things from me lol but without her I don't think I would be where I am now <33). Making a new account is, like most of you know, stressing and complicated. Especially if you are sooo new to almost every social media there is that you "need" a nickname. I wanted something unique, new! Luna wasn't it and I don't think I would be allowed to make it my DA nick as for sure there had to be someone that already was named that. So I went and took a name of my then new OC and added... Uh, Wolf lol. What was going through ny head? Probably something really special and I thought I was a genius. But that's how LUNA went away and I became GoldenRoseWolf
Like all kids, I made it my whole personality and started using it as my new alias. Still have art where my watermark was the old name. I remember my mom was surprised I stopped using Luna, maybe she was even sad, I don't know
But then I took part in a poem competition (and won first place!!!!) and we had to use a nickname. So I wondered and pondered and I decided on LUNA. It was a special thing, wanted to make something different and thought using my DA name or just Goldy would be meh. But then I remembered about LUNA and almost immediately pick it as my poetic alias
That made me think I don't really feel like the GoldenRoseWolf suits me very well. I never felt really connected to it, it was like something was missing... So GoldyLuna became a thing and it just clicked. I changed my Instagram name to goldy_luna and, again, made it my whole thing. I was goldyluna and goldyluna was me
I started to using it everythere. DeviantArts name stayed the same as I didn't want to buy a core so I can do it, welp wathever. Friends knew me so long under the name Goldy so it stayed as the short of my nickname, even if it is the name of my OC and my sona is Luna (that was made later than the goldyluna)(but I don't mind, I identified with Goldy so much at the beginning so the name became the part on me. Well duh, it is in my full nick). But I finally thought I found myself. So I didn't even think twice when I went on Tumblr and it asked me about my nick
#it was really nice to come back in time#memories are a beautiful thing#goldyluna went through a lot#but the journey was fun and is still going#the name will stay but there us so much more to discover#thank you for asking this question#ask goldyluna
