Kagehina/Shobio headcanons!

Hinata has very pronounced canine teeth.

Both are a little possessive, but Hinata is worse off when it comes to it (he's more confrontational).

Kageyama has a thing for how Hinata smells and also how their bodies fit together (deep pressure has a big appeal to him (yes, he's autistic why do you ask /rhet)).

They both like getting their hair played with.

The most 'couply' petname they use is babe/baby (usually former gets used by Kageyama and latter gets used by Hinata), otherwise its playful insults or each other's first names.

Hinata likes spicy food, and Kageyama hates it (if it's past a certain spice level, he gets overwhelmed).

Hinata smells like coconut and citrus, and Kageyama smells like mint/flowery scents. Though subtle ones, he doesn't like heavily perfumed stuff.

Hinata tans and Kageyama sunburns.

Hinata has a shit ton of freckles, and Kageyama has a very small amount of moles that are very prominent. They are both kissed equally as much by the other partner.

(This one's a possible art idea of mine) In third year, Hinata steals some of Natsu's quite flashy/girly hairclips because Kageyama got irritated as he couldn't see Hinata's eyes (he had to surpress the urge to push Hinata's bangs back for him but don't worry he wasn't pining or anything nooo /s). Kageyama proceeded to have a gay crisis (Also, He/They Hinata is real to me idc idc idc /hj).

Kageyama isn't super great at eye contact except when it comes to Hinata. With him, he usually looks him in the eyes when speaking.

Hinata visited Kazuyo's grave to ask for his blessings before he confessed to Kageyama. Like he got flowers to put by the grave and even dressed up nicely for it. Kageyama was never told this, but he did notice the new addition of flowers when he visited Kazuyo's grave a few days later.

They like holding hands a LOT. It's one of their favourite pda's.

Big spoon? Little spoon? Nah, literally think of the most uncomfortable-looking position to entangle yourself in, and thats EXACTLY how they sleep.

Their closets aren't separated, which means they often just wear each other's clothes.

Kageyama gets cuteness irritation, he frowns a lot and knits his eyebrows together when Hinata is being adorable (Hinata doesn't pick up on that fact for a while and often criticises Kageyama for glaring at him even though he didn't do anything wrong).

Hinata likes marking Kageyama, sorry- Also, they get very demanding when needy,,

They have a nightlight by their bed and lamps scattered all over their living space. They practically never turn the big lights on.

Hinata starts carrying Kageyama's fidget toys with him, not only because he himself finds them fun to play with but also in the case of Kageyama getting overstimulated in a social setting.

The first time Kageyama was overwhelmed and rushed out of a scene, he had Hinata following him. Kageyama, at that point nonverbal, ended up explaining in writing what was going on with him on a tiny notebook he kept in his pocket. They wrote back and forth on it even and somewhere in Kageyama's old stash of things, he still keeps that notebook with the written pages still attached.

They both have sound-making stims that they do back and forth sometimes (Hinata pops his lips/makes a 'brr'/'mrp' sound and Kageyama clicks his tongue/snaps his fingers or cracks his knuckles). In some instances, they end up mirroring each other (with Kageyama doing an endearingly shabby job at rollings his 'r's).

They like making fun of romance movies when watching them, especially if the plot points are irritating or the characters are stupid (as if those two weren't pining for each other for literal YEARS before getting together.

They're both terrible at holding their alcohol. Both of them are lightweights for SURE.

If they got married: Hinata figured out when Kageyama would propose because he started fidgetting with the box in his jacket pocket and Hinata kept hearing something snap shut and open over and over.

I'd like to think that once they retire from the professional volleyball careers, they'd get a cat.

I also think they'd help out at volleyball workshops for younger teens when they're older (they like teaching the kids about their passion).

EDIT: Kageyama is a very stiff dancer while Hinata is veryyy smooth with hips (It flusters the hell out of Kageyama I just know it).

Great news! I have successfully indoctrinated my friend into liking SFTH.

He came over today, and we watched HUGE, and then we watched Toby’s Secret Pocket (he loved Jimmy an appropriate amount) and the Unrelenting Aubergine. Then I showed him the Thirsty Vampires sketch.

And when he got home, he texted me to ask their name so he could watch more.

I have succeeded in life.

Been awake since 4 am because my wife was in labor pain all night and all morning and I basically speed run my way through all the little things that still needed to be done before Bubbah arrives. And now everything is finished and went to work afterwards, hightailed my way back home as soon as I could so I can sit outside in the garden while some pizza dough is in the making for food later.

Now all that needs to be done is making sure the wife stays properly hydrated and fed and all around as comfy as possible and Bubbah can come any day now for all I care.

Just wish I didn't have to work anymore....

I face an unusual struggle at work right now.

I reserved the full day for preparation of my invited talk to PhD students, writing abstract for a conference, and finishing responses to reviewers for my manuscript under review. It’s 11:30 am and I am finished. What should I do? 

I work from home today so no lab work is possible, all data are analyzed or given to analysis to my students, my lab work is planned for the next two weeks... It’s a very very strange feeling. I feel confused and surprised, but also happy and accomplished.

Between 8 pm last night and currently today, I made more kebabs, then baked probably the tastiest brownies I’ve made to date???, then baked tandoori chicken, then went to my first 6 am barre class, then grocery shopped, then came home and woke up the kids and made them breakfast and prepped them lunch and sent them on their way, then showered including the full shampoo conditioner leave in moisturizer PLUS exfoliating and shaving. I’m finally sleepy but I need to call the front desk to ask for an eta on maintenance visit and then the realtor about house shopping and loan stuff 😖😩 currently laying in bed waiting for my hair to air dry and considering if these are things I can put off for Monday??

Also, I was considering taking a break from barre because I haven’t been feeling it much these past few weeks buuuut I peeped a little subtle leg definition coming through so maybe 🫥 I’ll just stick with it 😌 and I’ve been seeing it pop through on the triceps too which is what I’m really after rn so like 🤤

I finally added the CDs (Ashlee Simpson's first album, Alice in Chains Unplugged, and Violent Femmes first album) I got in July to the laptop so I can put them on my ipod. Then we went on A Journey to get "Rocky Raccoon" from our laptop to my husband's phone. It's one of the only songs worth that much trouble

So I have an app called stats.fm, which takes your specific Spotify data and let's you view it in more specific and detailed ways. It has a system called Records, that show if you are the #1, #2, or #3 listener to a specific artist. And so. Now I know:

What's the "ideal date" for each of the DOAS guys?

This one is exciting~ Hopefully I do it some justice! (Based upon the assumption that both MC and LIs have already confessed.)

Antonio: He would be the type to want to set up an elaborate indoor camping pillow fort - fully equipped with fairy lights and all. After all, you are the only person he would be so mushy with, and you deserved every ounce of effort he could give. The night would be filled with your favorite food as he read with you, narrating the book you were currently reading as you relaxed with him as soft music plays in the background. After you've eaten, if he's still reading, he would have you snuggle into him as his voice calms you, occasionally placing kisses on your forehead. The sight of you happy, safe, and content in his arms would cause his eyes to sparkle with adoration each time he caught a mere glimpse of you. Each kiss would be filled with desperate passion as if he never wanted to let you go.

Renzo: His ideal date would be fun and lighthearted, doing all the things with you that he wasn't able to do growing up. Amusement parks, movie theatres, arcades, you name it! Anything you wanted to do, he would be eager to do with you, and he would pay for every bit of it. If you were scared by the movie or a ride, he would wrap his arms around you and whisper sweet nothings and affirmations to you until you relaxed and would reward you with a kiss each time you powered through it. He wouldn't let go of you once the whole time, either holding your hand, your waist, shoulder - anything! He just wants to be with you above all, but he loves to see you have fun and forget your worries. Without a doubt, he would make you feel safe and as if your happiness was the only thing that mattered to him. At the end of the night, during the amusement park fireworks, he would pull you in close, and give you a gentle kiss that turned into another, and another, and...

Leonardo: Anything with you is enjoyable for him. Before you, he didn't care much for dating, but now that he has you he is wrapped around your finger. His ideal date would be one where he can finally ask you to be his, forever and always. He would set up an elaborate full-day date, complete with all of your favorite things to do, places to eat, and places to shop. He would do anything to see you smile, and eventually, he would get on one knee and ask you the all-important question. BUT, he knows pacing is important in a relationship, and never wants to pressure or rush things. So, instead, he takes you to try new things he thinks you would like - couples art and cooking classes, drive-in movie theatres, genuinely anything he sees that makes him think of you. All dates are similar to the effect of his actions; he would always be the perfect gentleman, always pay, always tell you how beautiful you are, and would never let you go. The way he held you and kissed you always showed you how much he treasured you - above all else in this world.

Alessio: He would want to do things right with you - properly. He would never want you to think you were anything less than a gift from god (that he didn't even believe he deserved, but was grateful for nonetheless). He would take you out to your favorite restaurant, and then follow it up with anything else you had a fancy for that week. When you both get back "home," he would take you into his arms, holding you gently as he swayed with you. He would pull out his phone to play music for the two of you, and he would dance with you for a while - making you feel as if it were only the two of you left in the world. He would never make a single untoward motion to you and would follow your lead in terms of what you're comfortable with, lavishing you with whispered compliments and loving, peppered kisses across your face. You could tell he meant it all, and just by the way he held you made you realize he would always cherish you.

Angelo: As someone more active, I think he would love something that would be relaxing yet active. He would take you to the beach, but you could tell by his occasional glares cast to other men that the sight of you in a bathing suit was something he didn't want to share. The two of you would play in the water all day, and he would hold you close to him as you both swam in the water - your legs around his waist. The two of you would smile and laugh as he would dunk you both under the water occasionally or splash, and it would be your turn to laugh when he gets a sunburn from when he didn't listen and put on sunscreen. At the end of the night, despite his sunburn, he would give you a piggyback ride to the car so you don't need to get sandy or hurt your feet on any of the rocks. He was always like this, always trying to prove himself...always trying to prove he would walk through hell and back for you without a second thought, even with something so minor. His kiss would be salty from the seawater, but it would be bold and needy as if he craved every last bit of you, only continuing once home if that is something you chose.

Luca: Anything he can do with you that allows you to relax while being safe is what he would opt for. But, above all, he values the simple things in life. He would love to take you out for a walk in the park, and would buy the two of you ice cream to keep you cool. Eventually, he would find a nice tree for the two of you to sit under and talk and joke around - but he would take off his suit jacket first for you to sit on, so you don't have to sit on the ground. He would be a bit hesitant to make the first move (even if you both have already been affectionate before), but he would eventually wrap his arm around your shoulders and pull you in. With his face still bright red, he would get his "pay back" by kissing off the spot of ice cream on your cheek. As the two of you cuddle, kiss, and talk, you watch the sun go down together as children play in the distance. You feel calm and relaxed as the two of you talk about your future.

Morgan: She would already know all of your favorites, but would make sure to plan something she would enjoy too. Specifically, she would take the two of you to a new dessert shop in Portella. She would buy a sample platter for the two of you to share and talk, reaching over the table to hold your hand as you do. After, you would both go to her apartment and snuggle while watching movies together. She would treat you to little spoon, and play with your hair throughout the movie - occasionally poking your cheek so you turn your head so she can steal a kiss. With her, things always feel comfortable, warm, and relaxed - even her kisses are always tender, full of love and adoration without a hint of anything less.
