Quick analysis of various instances I noticed over the course of the story
Contains mild spoilers from the novel, so be warned.
In the chapter 119, we saw how Penelope was actually worried that Winter might die. This terrified her since it ‘broke’ the logic of the game and its mechanics. Her inner thoughts were something like: “But he’s a love interest. Surely he can’t die, right?” Showing how Penelope is very much convinced that it is all a game, and uses this notion to reassure herself whenever she’s feeling anxious/apprehensive.
This happened before, in the hunting tournament (chapter 69), when Callisto was knocked down from his horse by an arrow and briefly lost his bearings, (no I don’t think he actually lost consciousness, instead I believe he was ‘playing dead’ and decided against it when Penelope started to panic and call out to him worriedly, realizing that the assassins might want to get rid of her too since she was a witness).
This to say that despite her better judgement, the game is starting to feel a little to much like reality, and this belief is backed up by the appearance of the system windows (that later on will be revealed to be the Ancient Wizards’ doing to help her).
It’s all an excuse that Penelope clings to, so she can prevent getting too emotionally involved, but unfortunately for her, she’s inevitably doing so. She’s somewhat aware of it, and every time her worry subsides, she ‘reprimands herself’ mentally:
“What am I thinking? They can’t die. They’re love interests.”
“This is only a game, so why am I feeling like this?”
(Or something amongst those lines).
Her subconscious already recognizes the targets not as characters, but as actual people. It’s still too unbelievable for her, so even if their actions are considered ‘out of character’ from what she remembers their personalities to be, Penelope doesn’t question it much, merely brushing it off as the game’s fault for not elaborating further in the male-leads’ descriptions, (like she did in the cave scene after finding out more about Callisto’s sad childhood).
This will later on change; during the Crown Prince’s birthday banquet, Penelope comes to the shocking realization that she indeed has feelings for Callisto. She always admitted of not viewing him as a target, despite the favorability score on top of his head, but now she’s even less prone on seeing him as a in-game character due to her feelings for him.
More down the line, after exploring the tomb of the Ancient Laila, and getting a clear look through the mirror of truth at the true nature of this strange world she got stuck in, Penelope will come to the conclusion that it was never a game to begin with, (this still does not stop her from occasionally referring to this reality as ‘crazy game’).
As Winter comes back, we can see how Penelope’s earlier worry is replaced by irritation and perhaps anger too. They’re now safe, and she has a chance to actually process the feelings that were previously put on a backseat.
Penelope is assumably very angry at what he did. Not only did he show how careless he can be to prove a theory, but he put her and different sorcerer kids in great danger, all for his dumb ‘test’ to see if Penelope was a follower of Laila. It is understandable that he’s very weary and has his reasons, but he’s purposefully endangering the very kids he swore to protect, by literally thrusting them into the cultists’ hands (the very people the children need to be protected from).
At least someone (Raon) is happy that he’s back. Penelope looks like she’s about to sucker-punch him into oblivion.
Jokes aside, I think that after Penelope confronts Winter about his actions, the season will come to a close, considering that each season is around 40 chapters, this one will be the same too, plus it’ll be the perfect opportunity to end it with the conclusion of the island arc.
I can’t wait for the next season, since it will have Yvonne’s appearance, Callisto’s birthday banquet, the greenhouse scene, and maybe the long awaited coming-of-age ceremony, (we’ll also get to see Cedric again! ^^)

What are things that Naoya’s kids do to purposely annoy him?
Hello!!
I think they'd be many things tbh, considering he ends up having like 5 kids 🤣 so the list could be endless... but let's start with a few :> some a bit Naomi-centric because it's easier to write it like that.
warnings: none. domestic fluff. Naoya is a good dad in his own way 🥹
Also: I recommend reading these two too :> (oneshot 1, oneshot 2) somewhat related to this ask.
Happy reading!
Let's start by how cute it would be for Naoya to chase Naomi once she gets a hold of her technique (I will forever HC all of his kids being carbon copies of him 🥹❤️).
Like, he'll want her to get into the bathroom to take a shower, or get ready for school or something and she's like:
“No, papa!” Before running off giggling, Naoya trying his best to catch up. He may be an excellent sorcerer with undisputed control over his technique and seemingly never-ending stamina, but he is still nothing compared to a stubborn child determined to have her way.
Naoya eventually catches up to her, and while he's concerned (scared she might hurt herself 🥺, she’s still a baby with much to learn) and exhausted after the whole ordeal, he's happy too to see that his baby has lots of potential, essentially winning her a good position in the clan / jujutsu society.
The other thing would be feeding the cat you both eventually get her with things she's not supposed to. They're already glued to one another, but this just takes their friendship to a whole new level.
Though this would soon stop after her poor kitten gets sick :( thankfully nothing bad, but neither you nor Naoya had ever seen Naomi so distraught in your life! This definitely brought forward a much-needed conversation about proper care for pets and such. Naomi became a very responsible pet owner after that.
And lastly, this is Naoya's personal bane: when either of his kids follow Mai and Maki’s antics in bothering him. Just about… anything involving the 3 is enough to annoy him. And with good reason! They like to instigate Naoya through his babies just to hide behind you when things get too real 🤣 I envision they'd encourage Naomi into calling her papa a loser, silly, ugly, “mama is too good for him” so on and so forth.
Though there would be a point where Naomi defends her papa, especially when his affection/veracity of his relationship with you is questioned.
“Mama loves papa very much and he loves her too!!” she’d cry. “Papa loves me too… right?”
The twins would stop their teasing for a while after that, feeling like absolute garbage for upsetting such an adorable girl and subsequently doing their best to cheer her up. Or at least to stop her from telling you or Naoya what happened—wouldn’t work, but there are no real consequences since you know they meant no genuine harm.
Now of course, some of his kids are more mischievous than others (Naohime…) but I think those are like the general guidelines of things they’d do to annoy Naoya 🤭
This made me want to write more of his other kids, like, I forgot they were supposed to have 1 other boy, and twins. 😶 as well as first-time scenarios involving Naomi. Thankfully, I have enough excuses to do so hahahahaaaaaaa which I hope you'll like as well 🥹❤️
Thank you so much for sending in this adorable ask!! Take care and hope to see you soon ❤️❤️

Jjk 261 spoilers ahead. I don't usually do this but I have no friends who are following the manga properly and this is just a brain dump.
At first I thought this was an an asspull, and considering all the shit Gege has been doing since the fight with Sukuna started, that'd be an accurate assumption. But. Kinda makes sense why he'd do this:
1. All of us expected, someone to come back with stitches across their forehead, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one who thought Gojo was a good possibility after he died (off screen, mind you). This was just the worse possible way for the worst possible thing to happen.
2. Gojo's entire character. "Are you the strongest because you're Gojo Satoru, or are you Gojo Satoru because you are strongest?" This will be answered definitely depending on the outcome of the fight, but tbh I feel like we are leaning towards The Strongest being more of an impactful character than Gojo Satoru himself.
Leave subverting expectations and realistic depiction of systemic corruption and war, jjk is more about Murphy's Law, anything that can do wrong, will go wrong. We haven't had a single moment of triumph or even joy since Shibuya started. Technically, the losses were heavier on the curses' side (only Kenjaku was left alive, at the cost of Nanami and Nobara's deaths) but we didn't get to see Yuuji kill Mahito, and Kenjaku started the Culling Games. This has been a losing battle from the start, and I didn't think for one moment that Yuuta actually killed Kenjaku permanently. And technically. He didn't. He took the curse technique. And Kenjaku himself handed over to Sukuna the switch to start the merger with Tengen. So in essence, Kenjaku isn't really dead, is he?
Hear me out: All the things that Gojo has been trying to do by raising and teaching the younger generation to be better (taking in Megumi, saving Yuta and Yuji, being a teacher, however badly) will turn out to be useless if jujutsu society doesn't stop its people as weapons treatment of sorcerers. If the things he was doing as Gojo Satoru, and not The Strongest, don't have a tangible effect, does it mean anything? If a tree falls in a forest and no-one hears it, does it make a sound?
Yuta knows its disrespectful, dehumanising, absolutely cruel to take over Gojo's body but he did, he had to, there was no better option, not against someone like Sukuna, not if they want things to not get any worse. He is 17. He is currently the strongest. He is, and was always meant to be, the next Gojo Satoru. None of the special grades, except perhaps Yuki, have been their own person more than they have been the product of jujutsu society's depravity. Geto and Yuta have taken choices they knew were bad because they didn't see anything better they could to in that situation. Nothing has changed since the Star Plasma Vessel arc. Gojo Satoru's efforts have not yet brought any fruit other than saving a handful of kids lives and then immediately putting them in the higher ups' hands. The Strongest, in the meantime, has always been an effective weapon.
Huh. This got way longer than I expected. But regardless of what I've said, I don't think I can say anything about narrative choices until we know the ending. I cannot tell what jjk is about, other than exploiting the younger generation in an endless cycle, weird family relations, and maybe a bit about how the history repeats itself. If anyone has more themes to assign to jjk, please let me know. I don't know wtf is going on Gege's head.

honestly I just read the translation and now I don't think there's any way he's coming back. I really do think this was gege's attempt at writing a fulfilling character arc which made me realize that I've either been reading gojo wrong the entire time, or that gege makes baffling choices.
sorry if you don't want to talk about it anymore, but I always appreciate your input
hmmmm don't get me wrong i don't think it's out of character at all for gojo to have empathized with sukuna during the battle (for sukuna to have been the one person gojo could empathize with), or for gojo to have been craving the challenge that came with fighting sukuna his entire life to fill the gulf that has always existed between him and others. gojo understanding sukuna on a level that nobody else does and feeling seen by him before dying satisfied is something that I could've been on board with had the circumstances of the fight been different. gojo being bored and being a jujutsu sorcerer for his "own means" (which nanami and haibara call him out on) (and nanami acknowledges he doesn't understand but still supports him) instead of having a selfless reason to fight and the gojo that wants to change jujutsu society aren't not inherently at odds which is why i don't think ppl should focus on one or the other but instead on gojo as a whole. i actually like the set up of the after life sequence and gojo's talk with geto and nanami and haibara. and in terms of enlightenment i think in a way gojo's death WAS enlightenment. we see nanami telling gojo that although he went "south" he threw his faith in the future and felt fit to be able to die without regrets, and i don't think it's much of a reach for me to say gojo feels the same way (which is why he yells it to yaga quoting his exact words to yuji the first couple of chapters) but it feels like things are missing. i think the death came at a bad time and it wasn't enough. i've seen ppl say that in a way it's good that gojo didn't mention the kids but i really think he should've in some way shape or form. and the thing about it is that it could've been SO GOOD. but it wasn't :/
i also i have a lot of thoughts on the reoccurring theme of 'love' as understanding and connection in the manga especially in regards to the strongest (sukuna and gojo) yorozu who says she'll show sukuna love and gojo who says love is the greatest curse but that's a whole other post tbh
#in the end the greatest difference between sukuna and gojo is that sukuna doesn't feel the need to be understood by anybody#and gojo on some level wanted that understanding someone like geto to see him#remember how everyone was thinking the gojo v sukuna fight was oddly romantic? yeah#or the almost-camaraderie between them as they were fighting to the death? yeah#i think akutami making baffling choices is what is messing a lot of ppl up#jjk leaks#jjk.talk

So, fanfic ideas.... If JJK characters were in Non- Curse world, what would their job be if not become Jujutsu Sorcerer (in your opinion)? Why? Please pick your top 5 fav characters...
Also if Akashi (from Kuroko) or Zuko (Avatar) were in JJK world can they survive as a sorcerer? Can you guess their CT that fitted them? What do you think....?
Sorry it's just for fun, hope you don't mind.....
YAYYYY THE HAPPY AU!!! Non-jujutsu sorcerer jobs!!
Our beloved MC Yuuji: This has canon information, he'd be a firefighter. I can't think of anything else for him too tbh, it's the perfect job for him, he'd have been awesome at it. I love firefighter Yuuji it's adorable like AHHHHH good job kid!
Gojo: Not a teacher that's for sure. Probably some kind of researcher in astrophysics who also does martial arts competitions on the side. And a chess or shogi player too. He's the guy who randomly shows up in places he really shouldn't be.
Nobara: A fashion major in Tokyo. I feel like she'd go for a job that pays high even if it isn't particularly her interest and be ruthless in climbing higher. I'm just picturing her in a Devil Wears Prada movie situation where she's the assistant to Miranda Priestly who somehow can actually go above and beyond what Miranda wants from the start and leaves her to the dust to get a better opportunity with someone else.
Geto: Cult leader Teacher! He actually has the ability to be a good influence on the younger generation, I think he'd find joy in helping kids out and providing them with a safe environment. Probably volunteers a lot on his free time, still has that hero complex which he had at the beginning of Hidden Inventory but this time it doesn't go bad.
Junpei: He probably went to school for film and media, but I think he'd go on to work in counseling or switch to that. Supporting students, working in places that help with bullying. Determined to become a proper adult who isn't stuck playing the hierarchy games of high school(weirdly enough I see him becoming somewhat like Nanami in attitude). Oh my god Akashi and Zuko in JJK!!!! i was thinking about this a lot!
Akashi would THRIVE in JJK in terms of power but emotionally he'd be a wreck. His Emperor Eye is somewhat like Gojo's Six Eyes combined with precognition. I honestly think he'd be like Gojo; Emperor Eye would be an inherited trait like Six Eyes with the ability to see everything that's occurring in his surroundings and through that he has precognition to see what moves anyone would make within a specific radius(it probably extends to all of Japan and more or something that ridiculous) The smaller the radius, the more accurate and farther into the future his precognition is.
His CT....hm, probably has something to do with disabling or scrambling someone's cursed energy so that they become unable to use it. I'm trying to replicate the effects of an ankle break on a large scale lol in terms of CE. Hmmmm......I've entered Gege nonsense territory and come up with a way for this to work.
I'm gonna call it 'Kaleidoscope'. So what a kaleidoscope does is it has two or more angled mirrors inside a tube of some sort, and an object placed within it is reflected multiple times based on how the mirrors are angled. If you twist a kaleidoscope, the reflections change and create wild patterns. Now imagine that instead of an object, it's CE, and instead of a reflection, it's ACTUALLY getting split up and scrambled in symmetrical fashion.
Kaleidoscope makes it so that a person's cursed energy is split up into parts and twisting according to Akashi's will, so the person fighting him becomes unable to redirect the course of their CE to something stable.
(does this make sense? In my head it makes sense lol. Gege I finally understand your thought process lol).
He'd have a Domain Expansion 100% and I wanna say it'd be a basketball court lol, but I think it'd be something like Sukuna's in terms of visuals; an actual emperor's court.
Onto Zuko!!! I love Zuko so much as a character and I think he's great and with that being said, he wouldn't last a week in JJK. He's dead within 7 days or less. You need to have a certain kind of personality to survive in the JJK world and Zuko's got whatever personality type it is that would not only make him bad at advancing his CT, but would actively kill him.
(he's too caught up in his own feelings of right and wrong, of what is honor and what is shameful. He's someone who wants the people around him to be safe and risks his neck to do this multiple times, also he's a bit of an idiot.)
His CT!!! I think he'd be a shikigami user and his shikigami is Druk(and maybe a few more dragons like Ran and Shao). Probably comes from a large clan and he's considered the clan disappointment because he has no ability to create fire on his own. But his medium would still be fire, I imagine he carries around a light or a wick(but later gains the ability to manipulate and produce fire). Uses dual blades, which are cursed tools, to fight(also another thing his family dislikes him for). The dragon shikigami is likely an inherited trait that the clan actually doesn't like because it relies on external fire sources. I think lightning would also be an inherited trait which Azula got and that's the one they've all been wanting to see. Both re-emerged after hundreds of years.

hamefura fanfic ideas
I'd like to write these someday, but I don't know for sure that I will. People liked my tpn fanfic ideas so I'm posting these too because why not. Please @ me if you make anything based on these! These are all based primarily on the anime, and much more based on the world set up by season 1 than any of the kidnapping arcs.
Give Me Your Answer, Do - Eventual Katarina/Everyone. Everyone develops Hanahaki for Katarina. Hanahaki is not a known phenomenon in Sorcier, so nobody knows what's happening except for Katarina, who read a doujin about Hanahaki in her past life. She decides she must help her friends come to terms with and confess their feelings to whoever it is they love. Hilarity, interspersed with angst, ensues. (I have very specific ideas in mind for what types of flowers all the feelings manifest as.)
My Next Life as... Five Villainesses? - Gen (With minor one-sided Everyone/Katarina, of course). This one was inspired by an idea someone else posted on AO3, but I can't find it now. Anyway, Katarina accidentally double-books an afternoon; she promised to go to Alan's concert at the same time that she would be Maria's assistant in a baking competition. She wishes for a way to be in multiple places at once, and seems to find a spell that can do just that in a book, but when she casts the spell she is instead split into the five Mini-Katarinas brought from her mind to real life! They all are in different places and run into their other friends. Hilarity, interspersed with angst, ensues. (noticing a pattern?) Specifically, Timidrina meets Keith, who becomes fiercely protective of this shy version of his big sister. Happyrina meets Geordo and gives him a bit of a wake-up call about just how chaotic it would be to have a kid with Katarina (not that it discourages him). The other match-ups are much less defined in my mind tbh.
Rose in a Fisted Glove - Geordo/Keith, possibly Maria/Katarina on the side. Geordo gets the bright idea to pretend to date someone to make Katarina jealous, but none of the girls want to help him with this plan. (Maria because tricking Katarina like that would be immoral. Mary because the idea of pretending to date Geordo is too repulsive to go through with. Sophia because she is genre savvy enough to recognize the fake dating trope when she sees it.) Mostly on a lark, he asks Keith, who accepts in hope that it will backfire and instead make Katarina jealous that he's dating somebody. Naturally, Katarina is nothing but supportive when they tell her, and especially thanks Keith for trusting her with this information. Once it's clear the plan is a bust, Geordo wants to just admit to Katarina that it was a ruse, but Keith feels bad for lying and convinces him to keep it up for a month before staging a breakup so Katarina will think the relationship was real. Hilarity, angst, you get it.
Be More Noble - Gen or maybe Sophia/Katarina. Inspired by the musical version of Be More Chill but not dependent on familiarity with it. Katarina commits an especially egregious social faux pas, and Millidiana is at her wit's end. She hears tell of a sorcerer with a potion called "Squip" that has supposedly fixed behavior problems in noble children. She sneaks it into Katarina's tea. The Squip, (which manifests as a person only Katarina can see), quickly realizes that appealing to Katarina's non-existent social insecurities will not change her behavior, and instead transforms into A-chan, and tells her that she is in fact in a Katarina-centric DLC to Fortune Lover where there are all new doom flags that she must avoid to keep herself and her friends happy, and those doom flags happen to coincide with social faux pas, such as tree-climbing, eating sweets, farming, and otherwise being Katarina-like. The squip falls in love with Katarina, naturally, but this manifests as it becoming protective of her and wanting her to become noble beyond reproach. Her friends quickly become concerned. This one is actually more angst interspersed with hilarity than the other way around.
No Title Yet! - Sophia/Katarina. What if Sophia was the one who remembered her past life instead of Katarina? As a more genre-savvy protagonist, she becomes a master of Sorcier's magic system. She eventually tells Nicol the truth because he can read her well enough to know something's different about her. She becomes the center of the world for the original "harem" who become fiercely protective of and inspired by her, though not romantically interested (except for the tsundere semi-OG!Katarina). She also fixes a lot of their game canon problems, but she does so deliberately, and in much less drastic ways. (i.e., Katarina and Keith become friendly rivals instead of abusive, Katarina and Geordo come to an understanding that their engagement is in name only, etc.)

˗ˏˋ @kkittycries + MAMMON ˎˊ˗
I. bad alive (english version) - wayv mammon thinks he's hot shit. he's got the fame and the fortune, and he'll tell anybody who asks that he doesn't have time for relationships or love. in a nut shell, mammon is a player. so when lucifer assigns him as your babysitter, he's a dick about it. he doesn't have time to watch some "stupid human."
II. love shot - EXO but he ends up eating his words. he falls in love with how compassionate you are, how selfless you are when it comes to the people you love. still, mammon keeps this revelation to himself. he continues to go about his life pretending he doesn't have feelings for you (even though it's painfully obvious sometimes).
III. MONTERO - lil nas x when you start getting a little close to one of his brothers, mammon confesses his feelings to you in a heated argument. he wants you all to himself and, shit, he's never wanted anything this badly before. he's down bad for you, ace. whenever you call him, he drops whatever he's doing and comes straight to you. golden retriever bf vibes.
˗ˏˋ @kkittycries + MEGUMI ˎˊ˗
I. rain - grandson megumi had a pretty lonely childhood. he didn't fit in with the other kids his age with his mature attitude and spent most of his days alone. so when he becomes friends with nobara, yuuji, and you... it's a completely new experience for him. being a jujutsu sorcerer is full of ups and downs, but he "makes peace with the rain" because "that's when roses bloom." emo megumi is canon.
II. overthinking - KHEMIS when you confess your feelings for him, he has a little moment of panic tbh. he didn't have a married mother and father; he's never seen a relationship that he wants to emulate. he overthinks the whole situation, but during his mini meltdown, he realizes that home is where the heart is and that his heart is with you. it has been since the moment he nearly sacrificed himself for you.
III. talk to my skin - stalgia ace i'm so sorry... but i have a VERY vivid vision for this song. imagine it with me— you're on the top of an empty parking deck with megumi. you two are sitting side by side as the sun sets below the horizon, leaving you two in the darkness of the night. one kiss leads to another and you end up straddling him and riding him slowly, his back against the concrete wall. yeah yeaaaaaaah.

Loved it? Oh, God, you have no idea how much I loved it!
Like, it was softer than I expected and I adored it (I guess I'm too used to my old usual angst coming from my own fingers lmao) and I adored how it felt so realistic honestly like I could totally see Suguru liking someone bold and lively and seemingly almost opposite of himself! (after all, he is Satoru's best friend, lol(
As for Haunting Adeline, it's good (got to like page 150 or so out of almost 600) but I adore so much the tension and how Zade is both a manipulator but deeply obsessive with Addie, ngl
(Can one tell I'm deeply into Alpha/Omega? No? Should I make it clear with a long, detailed description?😅)
I will have to read that Cult!Geto. A lil bit mean, yummy 😋 (especially if he's mean with his d and hand wrapped around my throat—)
As for my friend, she's amazing, but going through a lot lately. Family stress + a relative being unhealthy + first year of Uni knocking+ mental illness is never a nice combo so I do get her but it's like the fifth day and i don't worried as fuck
Did I miss something? 🤔
Oh! The 13 and 15 year difference between us is not that bad considering they're rlly good kids and I love them dearly, ngl. But it does get exhausting. Especially considering I was in a very stressful situation myself not too long ago and still live in it a little (Uni sucks the will from my soul sometimes). Their love does make it worth tho (and the free food and coffee lmao)
Also, it's kinda payment in my mind for how much my sis is helping me rn even tho she'd never hold it over my head (I need new glasses. And while I had the money to spend on said glasses, I had 0 for food and cigs and she's helping me on this one)
But yes, I agree Hacker!Suguru is just ughh. Like, a lil (maybe more) obsessed, absolutely the type to give you the chills, surely could and has killed some really nasty dudes such as traffickers…yeah
Never getting over Suguru being big and strong and intimidating even tho he's such a kind soul, genuinely. I love him dearly (he looks very hot wiping someone else's blood from his skin, sorry not sorry)
~🦊
I love how long this is— and tbh, i knew what I was writing wasn’t like, what you exactly asked for but I was sort of using that idea in a Satoru fic and 😭 yes. Because angst in fact is>>>> and tbh why I see him going for someone like that is because it probably makes him learn a lot, like shows perspectives yk?
Personally I’m not into yandere or omega/alpha dynamics but the maybe I’ve just not delved into the right stuff — altho I think I won’t be into it, I feel like I should try reading on it more to get a good idea on it. As in, it helps writing but be my guest and explain as much as you’d like lmao
I won’t spoil much and it’s not any particular plot lmao I just initially wanted to write smut but then idk and it’s like cult geto and you’re a non-sorcerer but at the same time he’s sort of in love with you (classic and obviously). I don’t expect much interaction on it with people and I’m so afraid because many people (like yk the bigger and more popular fandom writers) have already done this idea so it is overdone slightly? But I just wanted a go at it.
That’s good for you for sure because I personally could never💀 I just really don’t at all like kids and I do hope things get better for you soon.
And I just saw this feel like this hacker guy and this girl (idk what movie’s edit it was but istg that’s my inspo now) though I do apologise because it may take me a day or two (a week?) to deliver because I got this test coming up. And suguru who can manhandle you>>> wait though- suguru wiping your blood (just as an idea sorry if you’re not into that!)
#from.🦊baby#☼࿐𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐄.𝐍𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒#☼࿐𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠→#I love your ideas so much#like the literal perfect#though like I need to expand more on Nanami and toji these days😭 because they look so empty where in gojo and geto get all my attention

FLAGS EVERYWHERE. ୨ৎ are jjk men green, beige or red flags?ㅤheadcanons
featuring ♰ㅤmultiple. (choso, higuruma, megumi, nanami, gojo, geto, sukuna, toge, toji, yuji, yuta)
warning(s)! ♰ㅤNO PRONOUNS AND ANATOMY FOR READER. SFW (?) — toxic behavior ! cheating ! breaking-up mentions ! very much made based on personal opinions + i tried to write the characters off as canon as possible, but my favoritism will probably show ! sukuna is a warning of his own tbh ! violence + blood + death (mentions) ! cannibalism (mentions) ! angst (mostly) ! some are implied yandere ! not really dark content but i will tag as so just to be sure, some of them are dc vibes ! mentions about marriage + having kids (biologically and not) !
୨୧ CHOSO KAMO — beige flag.
not the reddest flag of the list. although, still has some fails. . .
this may come as a surprise to many, but choso is not a green flag. he’s perfectly in the middle, i think. not nearly as bad as others on the list, but his track record isn't perfect, either.
BIGGEST RED FLAG? he's family-centered.
choso is, as is well known, a man completely focused on his family. the joy of his brothers and relatives is his priority, and he will always be more focused on others than on himself — this could also be a red flag, he is selfless to the point he will endanger his life for his loved ones. he carries the burden and honor of being a big brother. of course because of his love for you, you are as much a part of the family as his siblings are.
however, if you don’t get along with his siblings for any reason, it’s very likely that the relationship won't be able to continue. it would be troublesome if you can’t take his true nature ── as a half-curse ── well, too. it would really upset him, because love is about acceptance and care.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
the answer is: no, but it is preferable that you are. being a sorcerer, you would have a much easier time understanding the abnormal aspects of his life (him and his family). if you’re not a sorcerer, it makes things a little chaotic. choso wouldn't want to lie to you about who he really is, his origins, and obviously, he would be prevented from introducing his (monstrous) brothers to you in that circumstance.
this would make him reflect for a long time, which ends either with a breakup, or with him showing you everything about jujutsu. living under a false identity and with a life built on lies is not how he wants the relationship to be.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
absolutely not. choso is aware of how heartbroken you would feel if he ever did that — besides, it's not like he feels desire or romantic love for anyone else. he has no reasons to cheat on you, and he never will have.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
choso has good intentions, but romantic love is a new and unknown field for him. this makes him inexperienced and often irrational towards romance. the information about relationships is too fresh and unprocessed for him, and it's all from the dead brain of the vessel he inhabits. he is not completely unaware about all of it, but his lack of experience shows.
he is very hasty and believes that the status of “boyfriend” is not bad, just that “husband” would be much better. if you don’t see a future, why would you be with him? he doesn’t understand when you correct him you are just dating and not married (you've been together for barely two months).
choso is not the type to let fights happen without reason, and he tries hard to make things work out, but he’s constantly overprotective and his affection can quickly become suffocating and/or overwhelming. he's the steryotype of the protective boyfriend taken to another level.
choso loves family. he wishes to expand it someday. and who would be better to help him besides you, his true love? besides taking care of his brothers, he would like to be a father himself one day (at least, a better one than his own father was), and there is this underexpectation — not exactly spoken out loud until he is confronted about it. choso wouldn't want to pressure you, and he would understand your choices and respect your decisions perfectly if you don’t want children, however, he gets a little sad over it nonetheless and always wonders if you would change your mind if he asked more nicely.
of course, we can’t forget the amount of people he killed (in and out of shibuya). this is a factor that is rarely talked about and choso doesn’t even think about it anymore, honestly. if you can ignore that, good! if not? well. . .
୨୧ HIROMI HIGURUMA — green / beige flag.
objection! he did nothing wrong (except for, at least, 22 murders, i guess).
BIGGEST RED FLAG? married to his work.
this is a completely personal view, but it’s hard to date someone so busy and married to their work. pre-culling game, the grueling overtime and mountains of paperwork would constantly keep him away from you ── from dates, from nights together, from romantic trips. furthermore, his ideal of justice is always dangerously close to failure in practically every situation hiromi faces, and this is a source of stress for him. he wouldn’t take it out on you, there’s no reason, but of course, it’s difficult to balance so many hours of work and such an important goal with personal relationships.
it’s not that he forgets commemorative dates, he merely doesn’t have time to celebrate them themselves. when he can’t be there for whatever the occasion is, he’ll send some expensive gift and an apology card, or call you and start a conversation for eight minutes to explain he did not forgot your second anniversary. it’s common for him to come home, and you’re already asleep. he simply doesn’t have the time.
sometimes, there is the feeling that he is trying to buy your forgiveness and compensate for his absence with expensive gifts. it can be very frustrating.
in the culling game situation, it’s not so much work that keeps you apart, but training, focus and purpose. he focuses more on your protection and his than on romanticism, which can end up creating emotional barriers that are very difficult to break ── on both sides. hiromi is accidentally cold quite often. and that’s if you ignore the number of people he had to kill.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
honestly: yes and no. is a simple question with a difficult answer. hiromi prefers someone who can understand him completely: his feelings, his work, what he wants the justice system to become, and his vision of justice. so when he finally receives this new power that not only matches all of this but can make it possible, it’s very complicated to have a partner who doesn’t understand this new part of his life. he’s another person who wouldn’t lie to you about his nature. he swore to tell the truth, always the truth, and only the truth to you.
if you are a sorcerer, things get easier and harder. a relationship with hiromi has certain nuances, such as his constant concern for your safety, regardless of what you are (sorcerer or not). he believes in your own strength, but would like to stick around just to make sure you’re going to be okay. his change between coldness and sudden closeness can make feelings very raw and difficult to deal with.
if you’re not a sorcerer, his protection gets even worse. he’s not suffocating, because he is careful not to be, but he would genuinely go crazy if something happened to you because he was careless. anyone who touches you won’t come out alive and brag about it. he just wants you to be okay.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
no. hiromi is loyal to all his oaths, whether they are about protecting justice or being by your side even in sickness and in health (even if you're not married, he will compromise just as much).
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
he is very open and honest. it might be bad in certain situations, but it’s great for the bigger picture. he doesn’t hide his opinions from you and is willing to talk about almost any topic peacefully. fights with him are actually quite rare, because hiromi thinks it’s fair to listen to your side, then speak his own, and think together to see if you can resolve this peacefully. depending on the angle, this is another problem, in a way he tends to rationalize feelings very often.
despite all the negatives, he has a surprisingly good memory. he doesn’t forget special occasions, he simply didn’t have time to be there in person (which is still a con). but he remembers everything else about you. hiromi is the type to look at you with a slight smile on his face, looking like his words are going in one ear and out the other. but when you stop talking, he gets confused. “why did you stop? i want to know what happens next.”
୨୧ MEGUMI FUSHIGURO — green / beige flag.
honestly, a good option. if you’re able to catch up.
megumi is a better boyfriend than people would think, honestly. the issue, with him, is more about himself and his view of himself than you, but it still affects the relationship and your experiences together as a couple.
BIGGEST RED FLAG? no respect for his own safety.
as a jujutsu sorcerer, it’s perfectly common for megumi to get into situations that risk his neck. it’s as much a part of the job as anything else. the problem is his willingness to put himself in danger for the sake of a greater good, or greater goal that he needs / wants to achieve. he is bold and reckless, and can be very harmful to both him and you.
other than that, he’ not necessarily a very bad boyfriend. megumi doesn’t have as many communication problems as expected, although he can put up fights frequently — especially on this specific subject, trying to justify his lack of care with “doing what was necessary”.
dying to win is not an idea he is opposed to, until someone (like you or gojo) puts some sense into him.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
not really. megumi would love you regardless of your ability and strength ── and would find qualities to admire anyway. he doesn’t think you’re incapable of protecting yourself, and a part of him is tempted not to introduce you to jujutsu if you’re not a sorcerer. it would be a fully, normal thing in his life, but he wouldn’t want to lie to you in any way.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
definitely not. megumi has way too much respect, admiration, and above all, love for you to do something atrocious like that.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
megumi is reckless, but at the same time he listens to what you say and can slowly learn to take care of himself in a more efficient way through your words and worry. he doesn’t forget precedents or dates, and he takes good care of anything you’ve given him. his shikigami love you, sincerely, so he would be happy if you could see them and interact with them ── because they are a reflection of their owner and end up showing all the affection he feels for you and doesn’t have the courage to show it.
he’s not cold or distant, just more reserved, but he could be more vocal about his feelings instead of dropping hints and hoping you understand what he means. everything about megumi is lighthearted, even when it shouldn't be.
his inclination is indoor dates and having alone time with you that doesn’t involve his friends in any way. he has nothing against any of them ── they are dear people to both him and you, megumi is just inclined towards privacy and doesn’t want your time together to be interrupted. especially if you are a busy person who doesn’t have much opportunity to spend time with him.
despite being quiet, he is a little jealous often. not on a controlling level or anything like that, but he could easily end up making greater gestures to reinforce his dominance over your heart ── a treasure more precious than any cursed jewel. grabbing your waist gently and pulling you closer when he notices someone staring is not an uncommon occurrence.
୨୧ KENTO NANAMI — green flag.
i have nothing to say besides: you’re lucky — really. this man is a blessing.
nanami is honestly the ideal kind of guy no matter what life you want to lead. he honestly tries to balance his personal life with the work he so fervently hates, and he understands and helps you doing the same.
BIGGEST RED FLAG — emotional walls (eventually lets them down).
one of the few things that are not respectable about this man is that he really takes a long time before showing himself vulnerable in any way, shape, or form. nanami's experience makes him a very cold and harsh guy on the outside, but with well-defined morals and a heart of gold. he's also inclined towards privacy, just like megumi, and would prefer if you didn't get too involved in his circle of friends (more because of gojo than anything else, really).
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
no. not really. nanami appreciates the normality and calmness that can come from a life with you. he genuinely doesn't care if you're a sorcerer or if you're the head of the marketing department.
impressively, he's not as protective as others on the list. of course, he worries about your safety, but he doesn't doubt his own ability to be there to protect you if needed.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
no, never. nanami is very adamant and loyal to you in all situations — he can't be tempted by someone else, because all he desires is you.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
as already mentioned, nanami prefers that you not get involved in his social circle, especially if you are a non-sorcerer. this is due to the fact that his senpai is clueless and could often create very uncomfortable situations. furthermore, he is afraid that you will be interested in more of his acquaintances and end up discovering/getting more involved with jujutsu, getting yourself in danger or becoming a target.
he's very supportive of pretty much every decision you make ── as long as it doesn't hurt you and doesn't seem rushed and without thought. he makes a point of looking for you for conversations that he considers necessary and punctuating whatever is needed.
nanami is very analytical too. if the two of you set a goal, agree on its repercussions and after a long time, decide on it ── like, for example, having a family ── he works hard to make it happen. it is not uncommon for him to agree to work overtime to receive a salary bonus to prepare a surprise for you, or support you better. he doesn't doubt your independence in the slightest, but he would like to constantly give you gifts as thanks for your divine presence in his life.
kento is very kind and basically the height of chivalry. for those who say that romanticism is dead, it's because they've never seen your boyfriend tying your shoelaces, carrying you on his lap, taking you to romantic dinners and making dinner for the two of you.
୨୧ SATORU GOJO — beige flag.
strongest sorcerer, a charming man, and good at flirting. although, an actual relationship? oh, boy. . .
satoru isn't necessarily a bad boyfriend per se. he's far from the worst option on the list, but he genuinely has a lot of problems that would make a relationship fall apart.
BIGGEST RED FLAG? emotionally unavailable / self-sabotage.
satoru's personal experience has made him carry the burden of being the strongest sorcerer during his entire life. it's his identity to nearly everyone else — the satoru gojo, and not just satoru. it feels set in stone.
he doesn't have close friends or a support group that he feels he can genuinely trust fully since suguru's betrayal. this rubs off on you and makes him avoid really emotional conversations or directly saying what he's feeling — even when it's necessary. it's almost impossible to make his emotional walls come down, and if they do, he'll probably act a little sour for a while ── a kind of reflex, where he's wary of the idea of being betrayed once again. at the same time, he may unconsciously sabotage the relationship because, deep down, he considers himself unworthy of your affection and love.
being vulnerable is not his strong suit.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
no, but it's preferable that you are. not only because you would understand him and his capabilities much better, but because as a sorcerer you would have your own worryingly long workload, therefore, you wouldn't make such a big deal about him almost never being home. at least, he thinks so. but he wouldn't avoid a relationship with you if you weren't a sorcerer.
also, he gets worried about you constantly — he has lots of enemies that could try to hurt you to get to him. if you're a sorcerer, at least he can believe more easily that you can defend yourself.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
personally, i don't think he would. gojo's inability to be with just one woman is, in my view, his inability to be vulnerable and honest.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
personally, i interpret “satoru is the type of man who cannot be faithful to a woman” precisely because of the emotional problem. he can't be vulnerable and that only gets the relationship to a certain point before it stops working completely. it's very, very difficult to get past the defenses he's created for himself, and there's always the chance he'll get scared and decide to leave.
the gojo clan isn't really a hindrance ── what are they actually going to do, argue with their only relevant member? ── but they can be quite uncomfortable. the person with the strongest sorcerer needs, in their view, to be “proper.” this includes: being a sorcerer and having many strong children for a new generation.
if you do not meet these requirements for any reason (not wanting or not being able to have children), the clan is unfriendly towards you. this doesn't stop the relationship in any way, or it doesn't stop you and satoru from getting married one day, however, it is quite awkward. satoru says you should just ignore them, but it's easier said than done.
regardless of whether you are a sorcerer or not, there is a gulf of difference between satoru's lifestyle and yours. while he doesn't have difficulties with money or power ── and maybe you do ── this means he can't quite understand what it's like to be in your shoes. he's not unfriendly, but his arrogant and defensive nature can really lead to a silly fight or two that escalates depending on the situation.
୨୧ SUGURU GETO — red flag.
i love suguru, but he’s undeniably not an ideal partner.
i don't think there's much doubt about whether geto would be a red flag. he is. even if you consider his nature in the relationship more than his personality itself, it's still the case.
BIGGEST RED FLAG (besides the genocide nature)? — manipulative.
as a very skilled cult leader and orator, suguru has an indescribable charisma and a well-directed charm ── be it to convert those he calls monkeys or to enlist sorcerers to his cause. however, this charm can also be used on you and your relationship.
intentionally or not, he ends up trying to convince you of the same things he does. either his own distorted belief ── or his apologies become attempts at manipulation. he's not beyond gaslighting you, either. other attempts of manipulation (lovebombing, cold shoulder, ghosting, etc) can also be used by him. suguru learns what type of action provokes a specific reaction from you and ends up acting very artificially sometimes.
the benevolent cult leader persona he uses on non-sorcerers mixes with the real suguru geto, and that's definitely something scary to have as a boyfriend or a husband.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
yes. there's just no other way. sorry, it's geto.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
not really. capturing geto's attention isn't really an easy thing, and maintaining your position as his partner is just as hard a task. i don't see him having eyes for anyone else, because i feel that if you were in a relationship, he would need to have some kind of attachment to you and wouldn't want to hurt you on purpose. important note: not wanting does not mean he will not do it, if he feels forced to.
despite this, in those ridiculously impossible situations — like the question: if he could achieve the world he wants by sleeping with someone else, would he do it? then the answer is yes. but i don't know if that really counts.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
he is more married to his cause than he would ever be to you. he will not change for you, nor he will abandon his dream. that's a thought you can't let go of your mind when you're with him. no matter your own actions and beliefs, the new world must be created using any and all means necessary. no price is too high, no one is too innocent to be sacrificed.
being around someone like that would not only be exhausting but terrifying. there is always the uncertainty of what he would do if you left him. on the one hand, suguru doesn't want to hurt you. on the other hand, as his partner, you would know too many valuable things to just leave, plus, he loves you too much. he would never let you go like that.
it's very important not to forget that suguru definitely suffers from delusions of grandeur and high expectations of himself and everything around him. whether it's about the new world he wishes for, his role in it, fellow sorcerers, or about you. he faces some frustration when his expectations are not met, but he does his best not to take it out on you.
he might even "forgive" (this is the term he uses) the fact that you don't actively fight to kill non-sorcerers, like he does, but he wouldn't want you to interact with them other than when it's absolutely necessary. furthermore, suguru would require absolute hygiene. don't touch him if you've been too close to a non-sorcerer. in cases where you have shaken someone's hand or hugged someone, he will refuse to talk to you until you wash your hands or take a shower.
and if you see non-sorcerers as people, as lives who matter, it will be absolutely ten times worse. it would certainly be a very frequent topic of discussion between the two of you, so opposing views would make the relationship unsustainable. but staying silently by his side makes you accomplice — the blood of all these people will be on your hands, because you knew.
you knew and you did nothing to stop him, nonetheless.
୨୧ SUKUNA RYOMEN — red flag.
do i have to say anything? nevermind. i’ll pray for your soul instead. lord have mercy on you — because sukuna won’t.
if you were so unfortunate as to capture the king of curses' attention in this way, i can only be so sorry.
BIGGEST RED FLAG? he's sukuna.
it's hard to know where to start when naming his worst red flag. would it be his violent nature? his overall behavior? the sadistic desire for death and the total lack of morals? sukuna knows nothing but power, and has no respect for anything other than himself or equivalent strength. it makes your relationship with him less of a romantic thing — and more like an owner-pet relationship.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
i'm inclined to say yes, because it's difficult to see where sukuna would be interested in a non-sorcerer. regardless, i guess it doesn't really matter as long as you fit his twisted and bizarre criteria, somehow.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
no, but not for the reasons you think. love is an unknown and irrelevant concept to him, so what really stops him from cheating on you is not moral. it's desire, or rather, the lack of it. no one is as interesting as you in that sense.
he wouldn't cheat on you simply because there is no one else he wants like that. but not in a romantic sense, like nanami. it's like someone who is so engrossed in one thing in particular that in comparison, everything is gray and rotten. obsession would be a better term to refer to his feeling rather than love.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
there's very little i can describe without being extremely dark compared to other reviews. sukuna would play with you until he got tired, and when he did, he would send you to the pot and enjoy a nice dinner.
i think the closest thing that can be called showing affection from him is when he asks uraume to be extra careful with the meat this time. he had, somehow, a strange feeling for you that he didn't understand. even tired, he wouldn't forget a human who fascinated him so deeply. furthermore, it would be agonizing for other sorcerers and humans. sukuna would not be actively looking for replacements, but sincerely. if he was, he would be disappointed. sometimes he turns to bark a mean comment, just to not see you there, and murmur oh, right, knowing very well: he is the reason you're not there anymore.
despite this, he may feel some kind of affection for you. sort of. the kind of pity you would feel for a beggar on the street, or the feeling you have for a pet, in some way. he would never see you as an equal. an interesting creature, but beneath him, as it is your place.
none of this would ever stop him from killing you if you became a nuisance, though.
୨୧ TOGE INUMAKI — green flag.
few words, but a lot of action and gentleness.
after a horror show committed by our favorite cannibal, a good look at our favorite ingredient talker should cool us down nicely. toge is actually the type to act instead of talk, because, well. . . salmon?
BIGGEST RED FLAG? bad communication.
even if you are a great sign language interpreter, there will be communication problems in your relationship. sometimes you may not understand what he is saying, or the other way around.
this is not a fatal defect, but it certainly exists, and needs to be addressed accordingly. furthermore, it is difficult to have serious conversations or even argue. it's very annoying not being able to have a serious dialogue without hearing an onigiri ingredient in response. but it becomes a bit habitual for you and it doesn't make that much of a difference — it's the way he needs to communicate and you understand. toge understands how difficult it can be to communicate with him and does his best to help the process.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
i'm tempted to say absolutely not, but if you're not a sorcerer there's no chance of you having a relationship without you at least knowing about jujutsu. in any case, you will be inserted into this world and this context, but honestly it doesn't matter to him. as long as it is you.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
no, not at all. man can barely speak to his friends, how could he even chat with someone else and cheat behind your back? despite all the jokes, it's not really toge's thing.
sure, he can't directly tell someone else he's rejecting them — again, communication —, but he just needs to show his ring and they'll leave him alone. usually. he does not entertain flirtation from anyone who's not you, though.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
loving toge is as calming an experience as it is chaotic. he wants to do everything that “more normal people” would do too. for example, going on dates in big, crowded places — even if a part of him screams internally when not being able to talk to you like these people do. he hates having to use notebooks and cellphones. and honestly, even when he merely wishes for the simple, he just wants you to be happy and enjoy. your relationship is something very important to him, and there would certainly be a doubt if he can be a sorcerer and be your boyfriend at the same time. inumaki's lifestyle is not really something anyone wishes for their significant other, after all, but he was willing to try his best to balance the different aspects of his life.
despite not being able to speak, he always has a cell phone and a notepad at hand. it's common for you to find small notes and loving notes, or his messages. love messages, messages asking how your day was, messages telling you that you forgot your lunch — giving him the perfect opportunity to just slip away and personally hand it over to you. he turns down the collar of his coat to return your smile when doing so.
toge also has a habit of sending you pictures like cute cats and a small love poem. he never wants you to feel appreciated — and everytime his friends tease him for smiling like a fool to the phone, he murmurs an affectionate “okaka”.
୨୧ TOJI FUSHIGURO — beige / red flag.
already experienced with love, a hurt heart can literally end everything.
the experience of being in a relationship with toji can be the happiest thing in your life or the most toxic addiction possible. it really depends on a single factor: is he able to love you truly, even after mamaguro? he'll be the only character in this list with two “separated” versions.
BIGGEST RED FLAG? emotionally distant / inconsiderate.
in a world where he can love you just like he loved megumi's mother, toji has a lot of emotional baggage that is difficult to deal with. his job is dangerous, he had an extensive past with another woman and an abandoned son, it's a lot for both him and you. it's very difficult to get close to him at first, but he slowly opens up and is willing to change and improve his life, getting a new start with you. one he won't lose.
in a world where he can't love you, he just doesn't care. you're just another partner he hooks up with occasionally, and he makes that clear. he's not interested in anything serious, not marriage, not anything. you are not the love of his life and you will not be. and if you feel bad about these words? well. you're out of luck.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
definitely not. he couldn't care less in any case.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
again, that depends. if he loves you truly, hell no. anyone who comes to flirt with him while he is in a relationship with you will be ignored and likely humiliated if they persist. if you managed to capture this man's heart, congratulations, he's all yours forever.
if he doesn't love you — yeah. pretty much. then it's more about if he wants someone else than your feelings. or money. that is also very important to him.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
there's not much to say about toji's part and his role in a relationship, except that it won't be easy in any case. the past is the ghost that haunts every man, conscious or not. and his is full of blood, guts, tears and lost love. being willing to deal with this is not only necessary but something he won't forget. it's very difficult to win his loyalty permanently, but if you do, you simply have to worry about it anymore.
if he does not love you, it's very likely that he will eventually leave you for someone richer. money is mainly what would keep him in a relationship — sex is just a bonus. when some of those ends up being too difficult to get (or when these things are missing), his lack of emotional attachment makes him easily turn around and leave, to never returning again.
୨୧ YUJI ITADORI — green flag.
a very good option! the problem is that it is not long-lasting.
yuji is a sweetheart, really. definitely not a bad choice (one of the best ones in this list!). although, he has a very unfortunate destiny in front of him.
BIGGEST RED FLAG? he's way too selfless.
being selfless is a great quality, but in cases like yuji's, things go overboard very easily. he doesn't have as much respect or admiration for himself as he does for other people, and this can definitely be very damaging to his mental health and, consequently, your relationship.
he takes risks for his friends and strangers, he swallows cursed objects, he does his best to save lives — and he blames himself under fail, despite it not being his fault. he's the kind of man who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders, and doesn't want you to exhaust yourself trying to share it with him.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A SORCERER?
not really, but if you're not, the relationship ends very quickly and suddenly. yuji wouldn't allow himself to tell you about jujutsu, being the vessel of sukuna, and anything that puts you under risk. this includes staying close to him.
he wouldn't break up with you just because you're not a sorcerer, he just values your safety too much and is afraid of what could happen. if you are one, he feels slightly relieved you won't separate, but still tense. you can still die.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
he would never. never, ever. you're his love and he could never betray your trust like that. in one occasion, he said he wouldn't cheat on you even if it were with jennifer lawrence.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
the most important point to make is that yuji will undeniably die. he would be executed, and he thinks he should be, and that was the order given since he made a mistake that day. one day, and his life changed forever. having a relationship with you is one of the few lasting joys in his life, but when it ends for whatever reason, it will hurt more. maybe he'll try to break up with you sooner and move away so you don't feel so upset about losing him.
yuji is also the guy who was thrown into the context of the jujutsu world in a very unfortunate situation — he can be very slow to understand some things and, if you are a sorcerer, fearful. he understands that many sorcerers have important reputations to maintain. maybe you have too. in that case, wouldn't it be better not to have a relationship with sukuna's vessel in your past? what if the higher-ups antagonize you for that, and your career can't succeed? he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable about the topic, and he often doesn't say what he's feeling directly. yuji doesn't lie, but he omits, which is just as bad for a relationship.
you will become a target once or twice. yuji has made dozens of enemies through his journey during sorcery — mahito, sukuna, choso (for a while), etc. some of these people can easily try to hurt you, or kill you, you to shake yuji and get him out of it. or just out of sadism.
he is very anxious despite his constant positive attitude. sukuna likes to mess with yuji's mental health, and he knows how much you mean to him. yuji would purposely turn away from you very often, terrified that somehow, the king of curses would kill you simply to laugh at his expense. he can't lose you — the ironic thing is that maybe he would lose, distancing himself so much.
୨୧ YUTA OKKOTSU — green / beige flag.
not bad, but. . . very questionable, nonetheless.
last, but not least! the implicitly yandere yuta okkotsu — not by far the worst option we have out of all of them here, but. he has almost unforgivable habits.
BIGGEST RED FLAG — rika (?)
everyone agrees that seeing your boyfriend's first love as a bloody, inhuman ghost is a pretty uncomfortable experience. in your case, it is an uncomfortable and constant experience, happening practically on a daily basis. although rika is much more controlled nowadays, and she is more a manifestation of technique than a soul in itself — it's not the kind of thing that anyone just finds normal. even sorcerers.
unfortunately, your boyfriend's late first love is kind of always there anyway. he still wears the ring he needs to connect with her, even if he gave you a different ring. he wears the matching one all the time. it's strange and sometimes it gives the impression that either you are a replacement, or that you will never reach that level of affection. putting it simply. you're taking the role of the other woman in your own relationship.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A SORCERER?
again, no. but it's preferable that you are. all the difficult issues of being a sorcerer would be better understood if you were one yourself. it would also avoid him lying to you / hiding jujutsu from you. furthermore, yuta is a very anxious person.
he always imagines that the second he's not around, you're going to get hurt. even if you are strong, he constantly pays attention to small details to find out if you are okay or not. it's kind of cute up to a point, but it can be kind of creepy waking up in the middle of the night with your boyfriend checking your pulse because he thought you stopped breathing in your sleep.
WOULD HE CHEAT ON YOU?
no, unless you consider rika and his “relationship” with her. it's honestly up to you, but he definetly does not flirt / engage with any type of flirting from anyone else.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS.
honestly, the time you have with yuta always seems to be under the influence of an hourglass, limited. ready to end at any second, where his work will be a constant interruption. he tries and tries very hard not to let this undermine his relationship, but it can become an occasional problem. he had to spend long periods of time in other countries and cities, kilometers away from you, and it hurts for him to be so far away.
yuta is strangely clingy. you can't expect anything less. he's the kind of boyfriend who can easily become overprotective. always guiding you to the safest side of the sidewalk, one hand holding your waist tenderly, staring daggers at any man who gets too close. it doesn't matter if it's his friend or a mutual friend of yours, there is a certain distance that everyone must respect when it comes to you. except him. it's not uncommon to feel his heavy energy when he's internally agitated, but doesn't want to admit it.
besides being like a cat (very skittish with some people, invades your personal space very frequently, enjoys affection coming from you), yuta is very demanding in some aspects. he really hates it if someone flirts with you, even though he wouldn't take that frustration out on you. after all, it's not your fault and it would be unfair. but he's very adamant about not having any secrets or personal things he doesn't know about. secrets kill people, and he can't bear to lose you.
despite all the lessons he learned with rika, sometimes you end up wondering if he will curse you too, if you end up dying. it is a possibility.
he does his absolute best to make sure you feel like a priority, despite rika's existence and all the other factors that may drive you to believe you're unimportant. he's clumsy, and most of his romantic surprises have gone wrong at least once. the first time he tried to carry you, he knocked you both to the ground. be patient and let him build up the confidence to try again. he'll make it (someday).
he is very kind and chivalrous, and honestly a very sweet person. The only downside is that he is relatively insecure (especially if we are talking about him as a first year), and he needs constant reinforcement to alleviate his anxiety.
ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE. I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY MISTAKES. thank you for reading! <3

You know... didn't know I would have to defend Gojo of all characters BUT I feel like I must considering I keep seeing people say Gojo is/was a terrible friend for not noticing something was wrong with Geto.
First things first, let's just get it out of the way that Gojo DID notice something was wrong BUT he didn't think much of it, he asked Geto but Geto just instead of talking and being honest said it was the weather. Gojo is not a mind reader and both of these characters were affected by rather traumatic events and while Gojo seems more like someone unaffected by it I think it's wrong to act like it didn't't have any effect on him.
Let's also not forget that Gojo as a person is more about fighting and becoming stronger and due to this was much more preoccupied and was sent WAY more often because of how strong he is which created a rift between the two of them making it hard for Geto to feel like he COULD be honest and share.
Some might argue why Gojo would believe Geto's lie but basically my opinion is that Gojo was not only distracted by becoming stronger but also probably expected that Geto would be honest with him if something was wrong.
The basic gist of what happened between them and honestly most of JJK is how events & situations can and do affect people and have much more influence on how individuals end up turning out. Sure I won't say Gojo isn't 100% without fault because that was his best friend BUT Gojo was also just a dumb teen, so was Geto, and what ultimately is to blame & what failed the both of them was their environment. Their community (jujutsu society), their school, and the people ultimately in charge (the high-ups) all let these teens down and thus are to blame for what happened to them and the people they end up becoming.
.
.
.
Tbh... I think more people blame Yuki for Geto going bad which is also a poor take but I (sort of) get it, it's still wrong but I get it. My rebuttal for her not deserving blame is that I actually believe she was right in how she handled things because she was HONEST. Kids aren't dumb, they know when people are lying, and Yuki unlike the higher ups wasn't going to sit there and lie to a kid who has gone through what he has gone through and who most likely understands considering she is a sorcerer AND once a star plasma vessel.
And let's be honest, what ultimately changed Geto was what happened with those girls he saw who were caged and abused for being sorcerers at that village. This was his breaking point and even if Yuki HAD'NT talked to him that day he was most likely going to do what he does anyway.
Most people blame her though because of what she says, however thinking on it I do think she does deserve blame but NOT because of what she says its because she has no follow up with him or doesn't think for 1 sec he might need actual help because, yes, as much as this annoys childless people we have a responsibility to one another as human beings but ESPECIALLY have a responsibility to kids who are more vulnerable, Nanami understood this well and put his life on the line multiple times because of it. Yuki also failed him, like so many other adults and honestly it's probably why Nanami is the way he is, seeing what happens to his fellow classmates and how they turn out... He is probably one of the MOST responsible and caring adults in the series and it's honestly why he was always going to be doomed to die in the series.
(I don't apologize for this shifting to Nanami a bit at the end, Im still mourning him 😔).

chapter 28 taking me out again,,, more character building,,
naoya just can not win this man is being attacked from every side (deserved). the way i screamed that he got suspended from work for MONTHS? he is about to be INSUFFERABLE (like more so than normal).
AND THE LINE ABT AS LONG AS THE KID IS A ZENIN IT DOESNT MATTER,,, I CAN JUST FEEL THE PSYCHIC DAMAGE HE TOOK IN THAT MOMENT. FULL ON GLASS SHATTER SOUND EFFECT TYPE SHIT. OBLITERATED.
also its so funny fr how he goes over reasons for y/n’s behavior towards him, trying to figure out what went wrong, and it just… never occurs maybe it was the abuse? the s/a? couldn’t possibly be. must be his brother. zero braincell behavior HOW is he this delusional
AND WHAT IS RANTA PLANNING?? whatever it is i know its a bad idea and he should stop. immediately. like maybe its not on purpose malicious but i still know its gonna turn out badly and NO ONE is going to be happy with the outcome
and on the other hand y/n and naoaki- incredible. amazing. are they STILL believing they’re being platonic with each other after all that?? the cuddling?? i can only imagine if they’d been walked in on like that
N THE END?? NAOYA SAW HIM LEAVING HER ROOM HE IS GONNA BE SO PISSED and theres so many QUESTIONS raised from that. like does naoaki know he saw him?? does this have any impact on Ranta’s Horrible Plan?? is naoyas first response gonna be storming over to naoaki or barging in on y/n??? theres SO MANY possibilities here and chapter 29 is gonna kill me
Hello!!!
I’m super glad you like this chapter hahahahahahahahh It’s the beginning of Naoya’s suffering, of what he deserves 😈
Had to get him where it hurts most, and that had to be his career as a sorcerer… a punishment that ended up being kind of a slap on the wrist tbh, because why wouldn’t that be the case 🙄 I think if it had been anyone else, like someone of a less impressive heritage they would’ve been permanently suspended—it’s the Zen’in playing their privilege card once again…
And yeah, I can’t imagine how insufferable he’s going to be on the incoming days hahahaha like, he’s essentially forced to stay in the estate since he can’t do his work anymore, and not only that, nobody wants to hang out with him!!!! Only ranta cares enough to stick around but even then, the poor boy was like “omg I hope he doesn’t kill me for approaching him” damn he truly has no friends 😂 (well, you reap what you sow) lmao
But for him to foolishly convince himself that if no one is going to care, y/n will just because of what she did and because she’s his wife? Come ooooon Naoya hahahahahahha that’s just another level of delusion, like wake up my dude. I’m glad the elders’ comment was quick to put him in his place though :> (YOU SAID IT WELL, HE WAS DEVASTATED HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH it’s like that one scene where Mahito and Sukura are laughing at Itadori and he's naiveness, I guess)
At the same time though, I was like: the elders should stfu, they have NO RIGHT to talk about Y/N get OUT.
But still not good enough for him to realize where the true guilt lies; well, like I said, it’s something that he can’t comprehend yet. Holding accountability is not something that the Zen’in are like… avid believers of, opting to just put the blame onto others, like poor Naoaki 😒 man, it’s not his fault that Naoya is an idiot and that y/n prefers him :^) (you reap what you sow part.2)
Ranta is the kind of person I truly, truly think he has good intentions… but it’s such a shame he’s investing all of his energy on Naoya 😭 guess he knows something we don’t… anyways, can’t wait to see his plan and how it will backfire on them :>
NOW NAOAKI AND Y/N THAT SCENE… was the one I posted earlier about haunting me hahhah I know that by writing that I will be crossing a line so to speak, but at the same time… come on. Like, the two are getting to know each other and spending time with one another… they’re bound to eventually want to do something a bit more personal (this was highly indulgent too hahah forgive me 😭) you know? And y/n was in desperate need of comfort, it was foul how her happiness was destroyed like that and so quickly too!! Hinata… please… just take her out of there…
Also, be careful with what you wish for, ‘cause it just might come true 😊😈
Now to your question about whether Naoaki saw him… maybe, I think he might’ve sensed him but since he was like not wanting to entertain anybody, he was like meh who cares goodbye!!! Besides, it’s stated that he’s become far more obvious when it comes to approaching y/n so maybe he really doesn’t care anymore lol
It’s completely reasonable to expect the worst considering all that happened in the chapters before and how I’ve portrayed Naoya, however, he is in a rattled state of mind so… guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens 😊
I’m super happy that you liked this chapter 🥺❤ ngl I was super nervous about it (more on that in the behind the scene notes) but reading your feedback is always reassuring to me 😭 thank you for you support!!! It motivates me to keep on writing :> I can’t wait for you to read the upcoming chapters!
I hope you have a wonderful week, take care, and hope to see you around!!

confessions || megumi fushiguro x reader
a/n: this took me forever, but i really liked how i experienced a new writing style for me with this, i hope you liked it, anon :)
wc: 1200
summary: idiots in love have to travel for a mission, and guess what? there was only one bed. (fluff, humour, reader has a personality, megumi-centric tbh)
Yuuji burst out laughing before one of you could say anything.
Of course he’d find it funny – who wouldn’t?
The pink haired boy had an amused look on his face, as well as Nobara – they looked like kids, visiting an amusement park for the first time in their lives. The kind of glow that could blind someone.
Megumi, on the other hand, looked absolutely mortified.
“There must be a mistake.” Fushiguro insisted, midnight eyes looking at the receptionist, as if waiting for her to tell him that it was all a practical joke. It had been a tough day of chasing curses around, and he really wasn’t in the mood.
“It says so on our records. Your school booked three rooms for the night, but only one double, so…”
She doesn’t need to finish her sentence, and no one seems to have enough guts to complete it.
-
Megumi feels like a child, thinking to himself that it’s not fair.
It wasn’t a problem that Nobara and Yuuji had rooms for themselves, no – but it would be quite challenging to share a room with you. Of course, Nobara denied your offer to pair up with her, and so did Yuuji when Megumi offered to pair up with him.
They wanted to see him struggle so bad.
It was a known fact that Fushiguro had a soft spot for you – except for the matter in question. The dark haired boy suspected that, at times, you couldn’t really understand your surroundings. All you seemed to have in your brain was sunshine and rainbows. Like you live on an entirely different planet.
That’s actually what draws him to you: your laughter, your kindness, your charisma–
“Megumi, are you listening?” Your voice snaps him out of thoughts of you.
-
“There must be a mistake, ma’am. I’m pretty sure it was a room with two beds.” Yuujii’s voice emphasized the word two, mimicking his friend’s words. The pink haired sorcerer held up two fingers, pushing the joke even further.
Nobara laughed – a genuine, open mouthed laugh. It was about damn time the universe decided it was time for you and Megumi to face your feelings. Itadori had a strong feeling that it wasn’t the universe, no – it was the strongest sorcerer, the honoured one who decided it would be funny to fuck with his students.
And it was.
-
“I’m sorry, you were saying?” A flushed looking Fushiguro asked, with eyes that screamed sincere apologies.
“I was saying,” You start, motioning towards the almost-empty takeout box. “you can have the last dumpling if you want to.”
Megumi was astonished – his gaze fell on your face, and then on the last dumpling on the box – it almost felt like the food was judging him, giving him a side eye glance. The last thing he cared about was food, but he carried on.
“Hey, no, no. Absolutely not. Are you kidding me?” He asks, eyebrows knitting together. “Leaving you hungry is the ultimate recipe for disaster.”
His words earned an honest laugh from you, and you felt your heart growing bigger with warmth. You clicked your chopsticks towards the food, embracing his kind action – masked with a bit of sassiness, otherwise it wouldn’t be Megumi Fushiguro.
He loved when it was just the two of you, when he could allow himself to be his best self. The dark haired boy had a soft spot for you – which was a well known fact at Jujutsu High. Fushiguro grew tired of dodging questions from left to right in order to avoid spilling about his feelings, to which he’s very protective of – Megumi is nothing short of loving.
“Are you uncomfortable?” You ask, after a brief moment of silence. “To share a bed with me? We can arrange something else, you know?”
The way you so lightly addressed the elephant in the room makes his heart skip a beat, and he silently appreciates it. You were always braver than him.
“Um, no, no. I don’t think so. I just don’t want to make you uncomfortable.” He confesses, a wave of heat blooming on his pale cheeks. You smile at his actions, shortly after taking a sip of soda. Your feet are resting on the coffee table, takeout paper plates long discarded. Everything looks, feels domestic. Megumi feels like he’s about to combust.
“Megumi,” The way you say his given name makes him crumble inside, face naturally moving closer to yours. “There’s nothing you can do to make me uncomfortable. You know that.”
Ah, there it is, the thing he fears the most.
Trust.
The something he desperately clings to, the one thing he doesn’t want to give away so easily. The main thing you give to him so open-heartedly. You’re so kind, so soft, it leaves him confused.
“Yeah, yeah. Of course I know.”
You chuckle at his lie. Megumi Fushiguro is a terrible, horrible liar.
“Sometimes I feel like I make you uncomfortable, you know? It feels like you’re avoiding me, sometimes. Like you’re hiding something. I don’t know” You spill, looking at him – there’s not a single drop of venom in your words, just like he knows there isn’t a bad bone in your body. Maybe there is, but he doesn’t care. You could walk all over Megumi and he’d thank you for it.
“I– God, no. No, of course not.” His heart is beating terribly fast in it’s cage. How could you think that? How could he make you think that? He’ll never, forgive himself, hell, he’ll never–
“That’s good to know, cause I actually like you a lot.”
Your words freeze in time, get lost in the air. All he can hear is your breathing, the soft humming coming from the cheap fridge in the corner of the motel room. You look angel-like under the soft yellow halo coming from the one lamp in the bedroom, and the feeling inside of him bursts.
He’s tired – so, so tired of pretending he doesn’t have feelings for you. He wants to hold you in his arms and never let go, Megumi wants to protect you from the outside world. He desperately, selfishly needs to make you his.
When words lack, actions speak.
His body moves closer to yours – you feel dangerously calm, like this is one of those moments, the ones you carry inside of your heart for your whole life. Fushiguro slowly – awfully slowly – takes your face in his hands. Your big eyes looking up at him, with warmth and expectation.
Gently, he places a kiss on your lips. It’s so soft you barely feel it. And then another one – this one lasts longer, electrifying your whole body with its meaning. The third time he kiss you is when your teeths clash softly against each other, when he slides his tongue against yours after you give him a silent permission.
You taste like day-old lipgloss and Cola. Megumi tastes faintly of chocolate and mint. It somehow goes together, like you’ve always belonged like this.
“I like you too, idiot.” He mumbles in between kisses, and you smile against his lips.
He feels at peace, and so do you.

The Birthday Party
Kento Nanami x reader
Content: Tooth rotting fluff, suggestive words
Summary: You and Nanami finally get a moment to yourselves at Yuji’s birthday party. (tbh this is just fluff, not much happening then just feel good moments with Nanami if you can’t tell i am coping poorly)
The loud music blares through the campus disrupting anything and everything in the area. It’s just noise, Nanami thinks, definitely nothing of quality. Of course, perhaps he’s biased in the fact it’s something that the kids and Gojo picked out to liven the spirits. Itadori’s birthday was an event they wanted to be cheerful for. Even if the fact of this birthday will probably be one of the last ones Itadori would celebrate was hanging harshly on everyone. So the reality was tabled in favor for them to focus on celebrating the boy who frankly deserved it more than anyone could really understand. Nanami can hear the teens laughing eagerly. Everyone seems to be having fun. So he makes sure not to show his distaste for the music on his face. “
You know Kento you can relax a little,” You say brightly as you move to his side. Handing over to him a cup.
“Didn’t see you walking over here,” Kento tells you. You chuckle lightly.
“You were too focused on the kids to notice,” You point out, “it’s soda. That alright?” He nods lightly. “They all are really enjoying the party. Even Maki seems to be getting into it.”
“They need the break,” He points out. You nod lightly. Your hands now clutched around your own plastic cup. Rings scrapping ever so slightly against the sides. His eyes trail over you. The party attire gives you an excuse to dress more casually, but also more in your style. You always complain about how the sorcerer world doesn’t give you many chances to really express yourself. He’s heard your tangent about how the higherups have complained about your clothing choices more than once because they are all “way too old to understand fashion”. He didn’t get much of it but he’d always listen. Knowing just how much you appreciate him wanting to listen. “You look beautiful,” He says with a soft smile. You chuckle at his words.
“That’s the sixth time you’ve complimented me today,” You inform him, “but thank you.”
“I just want you to know how amazing I think you look,” He explains, “you’re gorgeous.” You smile. He feels the rush of electricity in his bones as you do. Your smile ethereal. He thinks you’re too pretty to be real sometimes. Way too gorgeous to be his. When you first met he used to wait for the other shoe to drop. Someone can’t be this smart and kind and absolutely gorgeous. This utterly perfect. But the other shoe never dropped and he never question it. Afraid that the second he did that something bad would happen. The other shoe dropping would be the cruel knife of fate cutting the time you two had together short. In any way that it could.
“You look very handsome Kento,” You say sweetly as you move towards him. He moves to slip his arm around your waist. A not entirely subtle way for him to show that you’re his. Pulling you close so that your hip hits his. “So amazing.” He smiles lightly as you look over at him.
“I think you’re exaggerating,” He says as he meets your eyes.
“Oi don’t do that,” You say firmly as you pull away from him slightly to move and cup his cheek not letting him look away from you, “don’t play it off like I’m lying to you- because I’m not. You’re amazing Kento.” He doesn’t say anything. Instead, he looks over your features carefully. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” He says softly. You smile moving to meet him in a sweet kiss. His free hand moving to slip around your waist. Both of you trying to be careful in your movements to accommodate for the cups. You pull away and move kissing along his cheeks and then his jaw as he chuckles lightly at the action.
“I love you,” You say between each kiss, “I really really love you.” He won’t say it but he appreciates how physical you are. How great you make him feel. “My big handsome man,” You say before placing one last kiss on his forehead.
“What did I ever do to deserve you?” He asks as he meets your eyes.
“I should be asking you that,” You say with a light laugh, “I mean- you Kento Nanami are like the perfect man.” He rolls his eyes lightly. “I mean you’re respectful, sweet, understanding, sexy.”
“Are you sucking up to me right now?” He asks as he looks down at you.
“Yes and no,” You reply, “I am being entirely honest- but spreading it on a little thick in the hopes that I can spend the night completely interrupted later with my fiance… And you can be a lot less than kind to me tonight.” You send him a wink. He adjusts his tie lightly as his face goes red. Hoping to play off how completely flustered you are. Especially considering the poor timing of Gojo walking towards you two.
“Hey, love birds!” Gojo says eagerly, “you two are missing out on all of the fun.”
“Yeah?” You ask the white-haired man, “sorry didn’t mean to… us old people just got a little tired.” Gojo laughs.
“You both are younger than me,” He points out. You make a face.
“Sorry to break it to you Satoru,” You tease, “you are pretty old.” He scoffs. A little offended but mostly playing around. Nanami laughs as he raises his drink to his lips. Gojo looks over at the blonde quickly. Gojo would never admit it but he did think the two of you were good for each other and he’s completely glad you two got together. Without you, he’s never seen the blonde man so comfortable and happy.
“Take it back I am not old!”
“You’re pretty much ancient,” You mock.
“I am spry and young!” Gojo exclaims, “I am at the peak of my life.” You nod clearly unconvinced. Gojo looks over to Nanami. “My beloved Nanami do you see how your fiance talks to me! It should be criminal.”
“If you ask me she’s being too nice,” Nanami says, “besides I think someone needs to be there to humble you.” Gojo scoffs.
“Wow I can’t believe this,” He says, “And to think I was going to let you both know that Yuji is cutting the cake.” You both shake your heads at the older man. “Come on.” You two follow the man over to where the others had gathered. Your hand is laced with Kento’s. He keeps a firm hold on you. Like that somehow you’d just float away if he didn’t. Everyone sings for Yuji, then you move to help with cutting the cake. Not wanting one of the kids to be the one with the knife. Gojo stands back with Nanami. “You looove her,” Gojo teases. Nanami rolls his eyes.
“I think that’s been established,” Nanami points out, “I mean we are engaged.” Gojo shrugs.
“You take the fun out of teases you,” Gojo says with a slight pout, “I mean come on let me have some fun with it.”
“Uh-huh.”
“As your future best man-”
“Who said you’d be my best man?”
“I’m not?!” Gojo exclaims capturing the attention of the other guests. You look over raising a brow as you hand a piece of cake over to Toge. “Y/n did you know that Kento isn’t making me his best man?!” She chuckles lightly. “You knew? The betrayal!”
“We aren’t having a wedding party,” You offer in defense as you move back to cutting the cake.
“So I’m not going to be your maid of honor either?” Gojo asks at once, “why am I even coming?”
“About that,” Nanami says as he looks over to Gojo, “no one said you were invited.” Gojo looks at the blonde in clear offense. Taken back by the audacity at the two people he thought were his friends.
“I wasn’t invited! I am the reason you got together-”
“Kento don’t lie to him,” You say shutting the white-haired man down, “you are invited Gojo- but like I said we aren’t having a bridal party but if it means that much to you then sure you can be my maid of honor.”
“That’s what I thought,” Gojo says as you hand him a piece of cake. He moves off to bother Megumi while you look over to the blonde.
“He would have believed that he wasn’t invited if you had let it go on a minute longer,” Nanami points out.
“Yeah and then we’d have to worry about him getting back at us by objecting at our wedding with a whole confession speech for you,” You point out, “trust me it’s easier this way.” Nanami nods. “Want a slice?”
“Wanna share one?” He asks. You nod. Cutting off a bigger piece for you two to split. The two of you ditch your cups on the table as you move towards him with the slice of cake and two forks. “You know I’m glad that we came tonight- I am actually having fun.”
“You always have fun with me Kento babe,” You point out as you raise your fork full of cake up. Offering him the bite.
“I do,” He says, “you feeding me now?”
“Practicing for our wedding night,” You tell him. He nods. Moving to take the bite. You move to stab the fork into another piece. Taking that bite for yourself. “That’s so good- Gojo and his fancy bakeries… Maybe since he’s my maid of honor he’ll buy us a cake?”
“I would not trust that to him,” Kento points out. You laugh lightly.
“What you don’t want a cake with his face on it for our big night?” You tease.
“He’ll actually do it,” Kento says. You shrug.
“It’ll keep things interesting,” You point out. You look back over to him smiling lightly.
“I really love you,” He says as he looks at you. You smile.
“I really love you too,” You reply. Your brows furrow slightly. “Everything alright?” He nods. “You sure?”
“Yeah, I just am so in love with you,” He admits, “I never thought I could love someone so much.” You chuckle lightly.
“Well, I’m glad that I could be the one you love,” You say as you set the cake on the table. Moving to cup his cheek. “Because I love you more than anything or anyone in this world.” He smiles. You move meeting him in a sweet kiss.
“Wouldn’t it be nice if it could always be like this?” Nanami thinks to himself as he moves to peck your temple.

PLEASE DO Kill, Marry or Friends with Jujutsu Kaisen characters based on their zodiac signs/placements
I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN I SAW THIS OMG!!! Any opportunity to talk about Jujutsu Kaisen 💅
Friend, Marry, Kill w/ JJK Astrology
This is based off their Sun signs btw. I mean I did go through and do Gojo and Itadori's chart, but I decided I didn't want to do that for everyone. My bad.
Aries: Kasumi Miwa. Friend!! I love her she's adorable. Her Aries placements come through with her excitement, her adoration for Gojo and admiration for Maki. She very confident and brave when she goes and asks Gojo for a picture too btw, bestie I couldn't do that omg 😭. Anyway, it makes sense for a fire sign to admire people who are incredibly strong, confident and direct (like Gojo and Maki). They're both brilliant sorcerers and thus have majorly earned her respect.
Taurus: Mei Mei. Kill. I mean, she certainly has the materialistic side of Taurus down pat?? Also hardworking and whatnot... but that's about it. She lacks the care, kindness and deep appreciation for beauty that Taurus tends to have. She has all the Bull with none of the Venus side of Taurus, you know? That said, she is stunning. So maybe not completely lacking, but still.
Gemini: Noratoshi Kamo. Kill. Okay so he's a nice guy and I actually quite like him, despite the 'kill' verdict. He's just a very very base-level Gemini, with not much of the stuff I really love about that sign? He's fun and chill and nice. Which is great! But that's it. He's got no real depth. He seems like the kind of guy who would have Gemini's stereotypical flakiness and gossip-y-ness too. He's definitely cool though! No hard feelings for my man Kamo, I promise.
Cancer: Nanami Kento. Friend? I said 'friend' with a question mark because he's more like a mentor or teacher than anything else. I have too much respect for him to ever see him on an equal friend level. Due to his Cancer qualities, he is one of the only anime teachers I respect. He's very protective over these kids and has dived in whenever they need him. He understands that they are kids and need to be nurtured and protected, not thrown into life-threatening situations without a second thought. Nanami is a hard worker, but he knows it isn't everything hence, his aversion to overtime). Endless respect for this man 15/10. I'm not a Nanami simp, but I do believe he deserves way more love and credit.
Leo: Nobara Kugisaki. BEST friend. (Also the girl in the gif above, in case anyone didn't know). The ultimate bad bitch. Her love for fashion and shopping? Stereotypical Leo trait. Her fierce love and protectiveness of Maki? Stereotypical Leo trait. Her gorgeous hair??? STEREOTYPICAL LEO TRAIT!! She fits her sign incredibly well. She embodies most Leo traits tbh, good and bad. I love her for it!! She has great style. She is honest, speaks her mind (personally a trait I adore) and isn't afraid to put people in their place. Being best friends with Nobara would be the same as having a guard dog (in a cute way). I love her, she wins, one of my favourite Leos <3
Virgo: Masamichi Yaga. Kill. I hate him. So stern, traditional, practical, organised. For what?? I know he's still flexible like Virgo, but my point stands anyway. You could argue that, yes, 'this is logically the best way'. Actually think about things from an emotional, human perspective though. Not everything is the right thing to do just because it 'makes sense'. What's worked for you in the past might not work in this situation. I fully support Gojo in his dream of changing the Jujutsu sorcery high-ups and the way things are done.
Libra: Aoi Todo. Frenemies. I know this wasn't an option, but he did not fit into any of them. He appreciates beauty and is quite romantic like Libra, but holy hell he's a bit much. Personally I think he's a very funny character, as a character. I would struggle with him so much in real life omg. I would've lost it at him at least once. Sorry Todo <3
Scorpio: Inumaki Toge. Friend!! No cuz Inumaki is my MAN. He loves fucking with people and it's iconic. I also think it's crazy how this man speaks in an onigiri language and still has SO many people simping for him (as he should). He has the magnetism and overall attractiveness of Scorpio. Good for him!! He's also very loyal and deeply emotional with his loved ones, much like Scorpio. I mean if you think about it, he made up a while onigiri language to protect everyone? Even though I'm sure it makes life quite difficult at times? That's honestly so sweet and people don't talk about how kind Inumaki is, much like they don't with Scorpio.
Sagittarius: Gojo Satoru. Friend. I wanted to say 'kill' because I'm here for the Gojo slander, but honestly I really like him and how he uses his Sagittarius energy. I love how he chooses to change the jujutsu sorcery world by teaching the upcoming sorcerers. I love how he took Megumi under his wing. I love how he clearly cares and wholeheartedly believes in these kids. He's also super funny and whatnot, but he's genuinely a very protective and gentle heart. All of these traits are EXACTLY what Sagittarius is all about, and I think he embodies it perfectly tbh. Not to mention is bluntness towards the higher ups lmaooo
Capricorn: Megumi Fushiguro. Marry. Omg okay Megumi <333. He's extremely powerful, but doubts his abilities majorly (very Capricorn thing to do). He does a lot of things that are hard, but for the greater good. Extremely noble guy. He's also very proud and quite serious, which is obviously quite stereotypical Capricorn. Of course, it's all a façade though. He adores his friends and wants to keep everyone safe and secure, at all costs. Megumi is a cutie, truly
Aquarius: Maki Zenin. Marry. MMMMMM Maki <33333. The way she wants to restructure and quite frankly beat the Zenin Clan as we know it, to prove them all wrong? Iconic. The way she's found a way to fight despite not being born with cursed energy? Outstanding. The way she uses her Aquarius energy to change things for the better and become stronger is incredibly admirable. I think she shows the 'revolutionise' and 'change' part of Aquarius very well. She can come off as quite cold, though we can tell she always means well and does warm up eventually. All in all I love her very much and I'm honoured to be the same sign as her.
Pisces: Yuji Itadori: Marry. THE LOVE. OF MY LIFE. Best boy. My sweet, sweet boy. His empathy and kindness is unparalleled. He has so much love to give the world. Yuji is constantly doing whatever he can to help the world and everyone in it, even if it means killing himself in the process. He is able to connect, empathise and relate to people in a way most people cannot (think about what he did for Junpei, you know?). A very different note, but he was right into the occult club which is very spiritual-Neptune-y of him. I just KNOW he would listen to me go on about astrology for ages, listening very intently and excitedly. Itadori is my favourite I'm genuinely crying as I write this omg. In conclusion, Yuji Itadori personifies what Pisces truly is at it's core. This is also a weird note, but I had a dream about him last night which is quite on-topic with Pisces and Neptune and all that lol
That's all I have for today! Thank you so much for reading and thank you SO MUCH to the person who requested it, I had the best time writing this omg. Sending you all lots of love, and remember to watch Jujutsu Kaisen if you haven't <33

analyzing every gojohime moment in the manga >:) pt. 3
more and more paragraphs ahead. BE PREPARED!
i’m also writing this at 3 am so please bear with the horrendous grammar and punctuation.
chapter 63
i know he’s probably like this with everyone but i love how excited he is bragging about his students to her. he’s like a child telling his mother about an amazing adventure he had with his friends, making sure he mentions every detail. in the anime, their conversation lasted for 3:41 :3 backwards 341 is 143 which means i love you.
1 letter = i
4 letters = love
3 letters = you
chapter 63
i love her fit! i also like how both of them like to wear baggy clothing that accentuates their collarbones `w` it’s like they’re matching in a way. even if she did tell him to cut the crap, she still let him run his mouth to his content LOL i feel like if he didn’t compliment himself at the end, she would have said something different. UGH HE LOOKS SO HAPPY CALLING HER
ah, let me translate the conversation just in case anyone needs it.
utahime: you wanted to talk about the investigation, right?
gojo: well, got any idea who?
utahime: i have no idea. no one seems suspicious. what do we do now? should we ask the students for help?
gojo: yeah, that’s fine. i’m busy so asking the kids would be okay. keep looking. i’m counting on you.
I THINK THAT’S WHAT THEY’RE TRYING TO SAY.
OR it could mean that she’s asking if they should start investigating the students. it would make sense either way because gojo says in the next panel that he doesn’t want to assume that the mole is a student, and in chapter 79, gojo sends the trio to utahime to help her.
chapter 63
these two love their students to death. neither of them wanted to assume that the mole was a student. in chapter 79, when utahime is talking to the trio about the mole, nobara points out to the group that the traitor must be from kyoto because utahime is the one who’s reaching out to the tokyo side. utahime has a dismal look on her face, almost like she’s saying, “i didn’t want it to turn out this way -- for this to be true.” after mechamaru says his farewells to miwa on the train, mai tries to talk about what he did to which utahime says, “it doesn’t matter, he’s dead, after all,” with a similar sunken expression. i just love how her care for the students is one of the biggest aspects of her personality that’s been showcased so far. it’s also cool how it ties together with gojo’s belief that no child’s youth should be taken away. i truly think these two have the capacity to understand each other to a deep level, down to the core. seeing as utahime is also a teacher, it’s safe to assume that she also wants to raise the next generation of sorcerers to be strong. utahime and gojo’s similarities and contrasting elements are so interwined, i really wonder if it’s intentional. like am i looking too much into this? are utahime and gojo really meant to be this connected? think about it. similar motivations, care of the kids, contrasting palettes, the bickering, long history. IT’S JUST TOO MUCH.
also can we mention how their phone calls and meetings must be heavily planned out? this means they’ve talked and interacted with each other A LOT behind the scenes. she doesn’t answer his call with “what do you want? don’t bother me on my day off.” she knows exactly why he’s calling her and they even speak in code. she probably meets up with him and tells him to call her on a specific day and at a specific time. they must know each other’s schedules very well in order to execute this investigation in complete secrecy. when he says, “we can never be too sure who is listening in around utahime” it implies that they find calling a risk, so in order to guarantee that there is no one around, they have to meet up in person. see where i’m getting at? they talk A LOTTT and most likely are aware of each other’s daily lives.
the fact that gojo is her main source of stress when he’s literally a 3 hour train ride away from her is hilarious LMAOOOO. you know what that means, right? he must call and text her constantly about random things to annoy her.
chapter 65
ah yes, my favorite moment by far. look at that smile on his face.
chapter 65
he loves saying her name. he probably rushed over with the sole purpose of doing something like this to her LMAOOOO like i mean, mei was in there with her so technically they both needed to be helped but judging from his words and expression, he only wanted to help utahime. notice how mei’s not there in the debris. could she possibly have suspected gojo’s presence or an outside force? or was she fast enough to avoid being in the debris? either way, her lack of presence in this scene helps highlight the fact that this is a special interaction between utahime and gojo. he refers to her in a very familiar sense. the most formal way to address someone is by their last name followed by the honorific, -san. in gojo’s case, he should be calling her iori-san if they weren’t acquainted. he doesn’t even bother to call her utahime-senpai. granted, gojo is not the most respectful and socially competent person out there because geto points this out to him. he isn’t even aware that she finds him annoying because he views her bad attitude toward him as her just playing along with him. he probably thinks she’s flirting back LOLOL
since he asks her “you cryin?” that definitely means that gojo witnessed her crying on one occasion or maybe multiple. who knows, the old utahime could have been a very emotional person. while this is happening, mei is close to gojo, she then asks him if he would console her if she were to cry in a flirtatious manner. gojo dismisses her attempt at flirting with him and says she won’t cry because she’s strong. now normally, you’re supposed to face the person you’re talking to, GOJO. he KEEPS his eyes on her even when more people come to join the conversation.
now, we can all agree that geto, mei, and shoko are better at picking up social cues than gojo. they probably knew the vibe of the conversation and decided to play along with gojo’s antics.
chapter 65
WE were worried about you.
pay attention to the order of the characters that show up. gojo makes his appearance first, then geto, followed by shoko. based on utahime’s reaction to seeing shoko, it’s evident that these two share a close bond. shouldn’t shoko be the one to arrive on the scene first? she’s the closest to utahime and would therefore be more concerned about her condition, right? i know shoko’s technique doesn’t really allow her to do anything other than treat the wounds of others, but if you heard your friend was missing, you would definitely rush to the scene.
look at geto’s reaction when mei says, “you’re the one who’s picking on her, geto. you don’t even know it.” i think it’s mei who’s saying this because gojo calls geto “suguru”. but anyway, mei is aware that they’re picking on her. i don’t think she’s the type to legitimately bully someone for their strength. her reaction to all of this is very playful and her “heh heh heh” is proof of that. when geto shows up and swallows the curse before it gets to utahime, he says, “satoru. it’s not nice to pick on the weak.” by saying this, he pisses utahime off because he too, is joining in on gojo’s joke. i believe he’s unaware that he’s making fun of utahime because his reaction is “gah!” with a sweatdrop. he probably thought gojo was making fun of weak people in general.
geto’s usually a gentleman seeing as it is canon that he is more popular with girls than gojo. BUT WHO KNOWS...you gotta be a specific type of person to be best friends with gojo. maybe he ain’t shit too... okay, my point is that everyone is just playing along. when shoko shows up, utahime is relieved to see her because shoko doesn’t tease her like this. since utahime tells shoko to not become like those two, this implies that geto teases her as well (probably not as much as gojo). we all know geto is really big on looking out for the weak so he probably wouldn’t have insulted her for real.
verdict: utahime being weak is just a joke. i’ve mentioned this so many times, sorry if it’s getting annoying and repetitive hehehehehe...
chapter 65
these three aren’t irresponsible. geto and gojo are a troublesome duo for sure, but they’re dependable. seems unlike them to forget something so simple and essential to pretty much every mission.
chapter 65
here’s my headcanon. they were hanging outside or in the car when their assistant manager got a call. the assistant was informed that two days have elapsed since mei and utahime went on their mission (or last contacted someone).
gojo: that’s weird. mei’s with her so they should have finished exorcising the spirit sooner.
geto: you think something happened to them? maybe it’s a strong special grade.
gojo: utahime probably dragged mei down with her. poor mei-san~
gojo gets up
geto: where are you going?
gojo: going to save utahime! it’s fine i’ll put up a curtain!
manager: gojo wait!!!!!!!!!!!
geto sighs
shoko: that idiot’s always running off without us.
they pin the blame on gojo for saying that he’ll put up a curtain and leaving the assistant manager behind. you know what this means? he ran and the manager couldn’t catch up HEHE... why the rush, gojo? were you actually concerned about her?
tbh i don’t see gojo ever running to something unless it’s urgent. the fact that he ran to save her says a lot.
----
let me know if you have any thoughts or questions! i forgot to add this but gojo had a more serious expression when he was explaining how they must’ve been trapped in a barrier that messes with time. he then states, “we thought it was weird even though you’re here, mei.” i know he was probably worried sick because if mei couldn’t be contacted then that means something must’ve happened to utahime too. okay that’s it for now. i’ll be bringing up this little detail i’ve noticed about utahime in the manga next :3

jujutsu sorcerer!reader; haikyuu boys
requested by anon(s): haikyuu boys with a crush on a jujutsu sorcerer, and being saved by them
pairings; hinata shōyō x reader, kuroo tetsurō x reader, tsukishima kei x reader, kozume kenma x reader
genre; fluff
warnings; some mentions of death
hinata shōyō
to hinata, you probably stand out more than you’d think
idk why but i love love love the concept of hinata having like a completely opposite s/o kagehina. as in, i can see him so well with an alt!s/o or a goth!s/o. i can’t explain it it just works so well in my head
the fact that you were so mysterious and quiet really, and i mean really, peaked his interest. unlike literally any other character, he is nosy, and he wants to know why and how and when and who you are, so he does make effort to talk to you often
you always kinda just smile at him and give him one word replies. it’s not that you don’t like him, it’s more that you’re here for a reason and you don’t want him to get caught up in the middle of it all. you’d hate for something to happen to someone as pure as him
your attitude towards does not throw him off in the least. he’ll just want to get to know you even more
one of his upperclassmen, like tanaka or noya, probably notice and try telling him things about you to kinda back him off of you because they’re scared of you lowkey
ik i used this scenario before but it fits hinata too; we all know he stays late to practice often, so it isn’t a surprise or it isn’t too odd that he stays yet another day until the sun has long since set. you’d only known he was in the volleyball club in passing, but you didn’t know him well enough to anticipate that he’d be in the gym this late
the most remote place, and the closest too, that you could think of at literally nine pm was the boys’ gymnasium, so you’d led the curse there in hopes of driving it away from other people around it. you hadn’t expected that you’d be leading the curse straight to another target
hinata was the only one there, too, so it wouldn’t be too difficult to attack him
one moment, he’s just tossing the ball against the wall and receiving it, the next the gymnasium is being broken into by some creature from above, followed by you and your angry yells
you were really focused on the curse, prepared to battle it and exorcise it, before you finally spot him. he’s frozen, the ball dropped from his hand and rolling away from him. the way he’s staring at you, and the way he keeps eyeing the creature in fear, it clicks something in you, you don’t know what
but you don’t give the curse a chance to even try and attack, immediately charging at it and exorcising it quickly, defeating it right away. it dies away with an agonizing yell and you’re pretty sure this’ll count as trauma for the poor kid before he rushes towards you, grasping your wrists and staring at you like you just hung the moon in the sky
“what the hell was that that was so cool oh my god can you do it again can you teach me how to do it you are so badass —“
like baby breathe omg
even the way you laughed at him was intimidatingly hot he was a goner !!!
now that he knows of your nature, it attaches him to your hip. you can’t get rid of him anymore but it’s okay he’s literally sunshine in human form
as a duo, and as romantic partners, you really are complete opposites, but that’s why you fit so well together you know!
if you can conjure up something like the divine dogs like megumi, expect him to constantly pester you for them <3
kuroo tetsurō
listen, he knew you were a little odd from the moment you joined nekoma. like there was no doubt about it there was something off about you. he had some type of feeling that you weren’t really here for the education you know?
but the rational side of him convinced himself he wanted to live in some type of movie so he dropped it
he does try to get to know you, though, yeah, of course he had to fall for that one person that no one knows anything about
kuroo’s just trynna be the main character lmfao
with kuroo, he actually succeeds in growing closer to you. i mean who can resist him? no one
it starts off simple, he’d invite you to games, sit with you during lunch, before it escalates more into walking you home some days, inviting you over during weekend games, inviting you over at outings with his friends
more often than not, especially when said outings happened during nighttime, you’d decline. he didn’t really think much of it though, he just let you be, you know?
then, one time, you decide to go for it.
he invites you out to the movies with some of the vbc boys, and you accept. you figure you being gone for a few hours won’t hurt anyone, and it wasn’t like there aren’t any other jujutsu sorcerers available in tokyo. it’s a big city, you rationalize
halfway through the movie, something feels off, and as a sorcerer, you know to trust your gut instinct, so you excuse yourself to the bathroom to check the area out. kuroo, having felt like something wasn’t right with you, and being slightly worried himself, goes after you.
turns out you were right. two people had already died by the time you come to the alleyway behind the theatre, and there’s a curse hovering by their bodies. you’re slower to react because of the initial shock, and when you see kuroo coming out of the same backdoor you’d just left out of, your body entirely freezes
until the curse jumps to attack him, and in a flash, you’re by his side, kicking away at the curse, watching as it smashes roughly against a wall
kuroo’s immediately asking questions, but you can’t exactly focus on him at the moment. you prioritize eliminating and exorcising the curse first, and when that’s done and dusted, you lead kuroo away from the theatre
he’s very shaken by the whole scene, especially after having seen two corpses
that night, you lead him to your home, and he stays there. he keeps you up all night, but it’s understandable. throughout it all, you reassure him of his safety constantly, telling him that you’d never let anyone or anything ever hurt him
it’s what brings you two closer together
because that incident had been his introduction to that specific world, he grows very wary anytime you’re sent out on missions, but you always come back home to him, and that’s what matters <3
tsukishima kei
please tsukki with a crush is hilarious cause he’s so bad at expressing his feelings
you’re actually really similar to him in that you’re quiet and that you don’t really appreciate talking and conversing to others. you tend to keep to yourself, and he really respects that, like deep down
he thought you were just a really timid person until he snaps at you once and you snap back. and then it was like everything that has ever happened to him led to this moment right here because what the fucsjdhwf
the fact that he recognized his feelings for you kinda made him even warier of you. like his scowl is deeper and his bite is harsher, but that’s really only because he does not know how to deal with these emotions. like he has a bad way of expressing them correctly
you two build this small relationship between you. it’s like a teasing thing, where it’s literally just all bark and no bite. it’s lowkey fun, and you grow to appreciate his presence
he doesn’t really question it when you miss days of schools, or when you return the days after that all bandaged and bruised. he figures it’s not his business to ask questions like that, and just continues to observe you from afar
anyways! one night he’s walking home, all alone, peacefully, before he sees you dash by him, being chased by??? what the fuck is that???
tsukki just pauses, but he’s not even like scared or worried he’s just confused and a little amused tbh. he stands in place while his eyes follow your movements as you allow the creature to chase at you, before you make a sharp turn and hit it, sending it flying back
except, you hadn’t realized the direction you’d hit it at
the curse goes flying at tsukki, and he’s just staring at it like, “hm,” not moving an inch. he’s trynna give you an aneurysm on god
you scream at him to move, but you’re already rushing towards him. as soon as you can, you throw your arms around him and topple him to the ground. you land on top of him, but you don’t get to see his flustered face because you’re off of him way too soon, taking care of the issue at hand
he’s a little surprised at the reason you’re always cut up and bruised, but he can’t say he’s not even a little amazed at just,,, how cool you seem
he’s still on the ground lol and you hit him with “i hope you’re not waiting for me to pick you up.”
“it is your fault i’m on the ground to begin with.”
you help him up
with an eye roll of course
when he’s standing again before you, he just sighs and lifts a finger to his face, as if to indicate to your face. then he says, “that explains all this then,” referring to the bruises painting your skin
your relationship doesn’t change much for a while after that, except that knowing glance he gives you every time you walk into class exhausted
likes to call it monster hunting for some reason
clearly you’re the only one out of the two of you with any balls because you’re the one that confesses. thanks for saving him the trouble hehe
he’ll never tell you to your face, but he thinks he is incredibly lucky to have someone as badass as you as his s/o
kozume kenma
kenma probably took note of your exceptional situation for a few, but he didn’t give it much thought initially. like so what if you were super secretive? not like anyone knew much of him himself
it’s not until kuroo or someone points out like, “they’re quite odd, right?” that he starts to pay attention, but he’s not sure why
maybe he’s trying to convince himself and others that you’re not really odd for being the way that you are. just secretive and mysterious and introverted. like. does that make him odd?
he starts to notice things like you staying after school for late, late hours, but not because you’re a part of any club, and things like your missing of school, or how your knuckles are always, always bandaged and wrapped, or how you seemed to be at the oddest of locations at the oddest of times
it’s not really like him to be too interested in what you do, so he doesn’t invest all his thoughts and energy into. he does though dwell over it for a lot longer than you’d think
sometimes, kenma takes a console of his, and heads up his rooftop, because it just feels really safe where nobody and nothing can get to him
he’s proven wrong one night when, in the middle of the game, he hears thumps across the rooftop. he thinks he’s being tricked by the game he’s playing, until he feels something behind him, until the hairs on the nape of his neck stand and a shive runs down his spine because there is something breathing down his neck
and then he hears your all too familiar voice whispering out, “don’t move, please.”
it’s honestly not like he could
he sees you from the corner of his eye move in a flash, and suddenly, when the feeling is gone, he finds himself able to move again, and he turns around
it honestly looks like a scene from a movie, what he’s staring at. you battle the curse so well, and kenma is fully and shamelessly enamored by you and the way you moved so swiftly and efficiently, as you dodge and attack, and as you finally exorcise
like he’s so in awe he has to pinch himself to convince himself he’s not dreaming
when the curse is taken care of, you just slowly approach him, kneeling by his side and asking in a soft voice if he was okay. he decided then and there that no, you were not odd at all. you just saved his life, so,,,
you urge him to go back inside, to stay safe, and he just nods as you lead the way to his window. and when he slips inside, for some reason, he finds it in himself to ask you to stay too
to stay safe, of course
it takes you by surprise a little, but at the genuineness in his eyes, you accept, and stay up playing games with him
and when you greet him in school the next day with a smile and a wave, kenma returns it, just as brightly <3
