Due to a lot of feedback on the nature of this blog, and how the meme format can come across as insensitive and shameless, I'm considering switching to a news only post format, without the use of the destiel meme. I greatly enjoy sharing information about current events, and would like to continue doing so in some way.

So I am making this poll to ask everyone their opinion on the way I do things, and for suggestions to improve my content.

The Brazil Twitter ban doesn't directly effect us, but I might as well post this update here too since I put it on Twitter—

Bluesky doesn't currently have a video upload feature, but if that changes, I might start uploading clips there too. What's happening to the Brazilian community is really unfair, and I want to do what I can for Brazilian QSMP fans. 🇧🇷💛

I've heard rumors that video uploads MIGHT be added in an update, but until then RA's Bluesky account will be on hold.

Truthfully, I am a person of habit and I hate managing multiple social media accounts, but Brazilian fans deserve fun clips too! I'll try my best. 💪😤🇧🇷

Going to rant for a second but I saw this shit on TikTok (the original TikTok is someone talking about how they were upset to see a lot of their bookmarks were now deleted works) and this kind of shit makes me FUME. The entitlement to authors' work, the utter disdain for authors and complete lack of gratitude, all that stuff is killing my love for fandom. (All of the mean answers are towards the one author who said this made them not want to post anymore btw.)

Ao3 being an 'archive' does not entitle you to steal other people's works. Using the 'lost media' argument to guilt trip an author when talking about someone who does not wish for their own work that they created themselves for free to be available anymore is absolutely awful.

Also, imo this points to a disconnect between authors and readers that has been growing larger and larger lately. A lot of readers just consume fanfics, and they do it in a way that... doesn't include authors anymore, and doesn't recognize their role within fandom.

Anyway. Don't be like that.

And while I'm on the subject of bitching about social media, I realize this is a controversial statement on the tankie TikTok addict site, but fun fact: you can in fact criticize the American government for trying to limit what websites you go on in the name of xenophobic capitalistic surveillance exploitation, while not also just turning around and giving your information to a site that is owned lock stock and barrel by another imperialist power with an EVEN MORE corrupt surveillance exploitation system.

You can, in fact, not fucking feed the identity theft misinformation algorithm on either side! Shocking, I know!

Maple Leafs discourse on their team social medias makes me lose brain cells because wdym they're first in their division and coming off a 5 game win streak & people are commenting that the top players are only in it for the money and have no drive, that particular players are useless and need to be traded asap, that they're a garbage team, that they'll never make it past the first round just because they lost one game.

Apparently because they are being payed handsomely the players must be mindless automatons who perform perfectly every night. It drives me absolutely nuts how quickly alleged fans will completely turn on their own team.

This is what I was worried about with Minah – that she'd come under suspicion purely because she hasn't come under suspicion before, of no fault of her own. We did see today that she could handle herself under pressure well today, but when everyone's piling onto you, almost everything can be taken as suspicious. A weak argument with panic is a sign you're guilty, a strong argument without panic is a sign you're guilty (because you're clearly good at keeping calm under pressure and are a good liar, and look, you've had a defence all figured out, so you must be guilty!)... I really hope she stays, the show's editing could definitely be making it out to be worse than it actually is (since they know we're invested in her as the only original traitor), but sometimes you're an unfortunate victim of circumstance and there's nothing you can do (think Nicky in S1). PLS DON'T GO MINAH I CAN'T LOSE BOTH MY FAVS TWO EPISODES APART

Sad to see Alexander come under suspicion too, I really like him and it's always nice to see someone with logical reasoning – it was wrong, but his argument about the odds of a recruitment being much higher than the odds of Leanne (or Minah, but everyone knew she was one of three with a shield) getting targeted was completely sound! Much stronger evidence than a diplomat, someone who's been in many actually high-stakes situations because of his job, not appearing panicked after the events of a gameshow...

Really happy to see Linda making some moves, even if she was banished – I didn't hate her and enjoyed the 'how is she still around' memes, but she really grew on me/redeemed herself as a player in my eyes in her final episode, which was great to see! Also the Linda Minah conversation at breakfast... aaa it was so sweet... it's the first time I've seen such open loyalty between Traitors (and yes, Minah did go with the tide and turn on Linda, but she had tried her best to steer suspicion away from her previously)

I am really happy about the Charlotte recruitment! I don't really have an idea on how strong it is strategically (especially considering Charlotte hasn't been focused on very much by the edit in the past few episodes, so we don't know too much about where she'll stand), but I have really enjoyed what I've seen of her, so I'm really excited to see what her and Minah will be like as a Traitors duo (and what she'll be like as a Traitor in the first place).

(As I said in another post) I am feeling slightly better about Ep6 because of this too, since because Minah was committed (at least this ep) to continuing the sisterhood, we probably weren't robbed of a Minah Dan traitor duo because that probably wouldn't have happened anyway

On that topic, rip Dan you would've loved the riddles (aka forms of logic puzzles) in this episode's task

I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa gets murdered tonight, considering she's pretty much confirmed Faithful to everyone there now Linda was revealed to be a Traitor (unless they keep her as a potential recruitment, but I don't think the intention is to do much recruitment – every one risks destabilising your place in the castle)

The dramatic zoom-in to the not-so-significnt secrets on the scrolls on Uncloaked was so funny (also I love the Linda Fozia dynamic so much, Fozia's last words in the Traitors proper were so on point as well)

i haven't used it since middle school to play demented flash games and watch animations, i was also surprised to know it survived the flash purge lol. a lot of people are recommending it though and it never hurts to have yet another platform to fall back on. i didn't even know it was a regular art site either tbh 🥴

I pretty much stopped talking to a friend about two months ago after she told me she was cheating on her boyfriend (literally did everything in my power to make her understand why that's shitty and not some funny lol thing but she simply had no empathy even though she could grasp that it was wrong) because I firmly believe that if someone is capable of betraying the person they love then they'll likely have no problem doing you, their friend, just as a dirty as they did their partner. like I remained cordial with her out of necessity but the warmth of friendship was gone
