20 Questions for Writers
@myfairkatiecat Thanks for the tag, sorry this took so long. (@sophieswundergarten thanks for the reminder 💕)
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
8 so far. It's not a lot, but I make up for it in length.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
417,645 💀
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Exclusively tmbs so far, but I plan on doing some Wolf359 fics when I (finally) finish the podcast. Sadly all my ideas are long. I'm sorry.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Since I have so few fics I'll just give the list:
S.O.S., by a lot. I'd like to thank the show's cancellation for my unexpected success.
The Oldest Siblings , mainly due to it's association with SOS (it's the prequel in the series)
Treat Them With(out) Mercy
Who You Were Meant To Be
A Joy To Obey and It Should Have Been Us are tied
The Boys Who Waited
Sirens of the Sea and Sky: dead last with 3 modest kudos. This fic is the equivalent of having a kid in a school recital who screams the whole time and knocks down the set. He might be a disaster, but he's my kid and I'm proud. This fic is ridiculous, but it makes me laugh anyway. I don't know how burnt out finals Bods came up with this, but by golly...she did.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Of course! I think I've responded to every comment I've ever gotten (if not I'm so sorry please let me know). I appreciate every one of them, and I love talking about the ideas in my idea and the fics I write, so please know that every comment you leave totally brightens my day! 🥰
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hm. Right now "The Boys Who Waited" probably has the angstiest and most ominous ending, but we'll see what happens.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably "A Joy To Obey" since it's my main fluff fic with a nice ending. A great read if you like lighter stuff.
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
Not yet. If I did, I'm not even sure what I'd do. Depends on the hate. I might cry. I might laugh, honestly. I don't think I'm nearly important, good, or noticeable enough for that so I might be a little flattered ngl (unless it was something vulgar or hateful towards a certain group of people then I'd delete and block the person). I'm sure people have read my writing and not liked it, but I think they just click away.
9. Do you write smut?
No, that's not for me. Especially because I'm writing for a children's fandom, I just don't think that's appropriate.
10. Do you write crossovers?
No, but I've done some AU's on tumblr.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of. Also this is a small fandom so if a fic of mine DID get stolen, it would be pretty awkward and obvious. Don't plagiarize kids.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but I'd be honored if anyone wanted to do that!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
No, but that could be fun!
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Why the MV Shortcut, of course! /jk
I don't really have a lot of ships I get super invested in, I prefer platonic relationships. If I think of one I'll let you guys know.
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
You'll find out. (Don't worry about SOS. I promised I'd finish it and I intend to keep my word).
16. What are your writing strengths?
According to my readers, dialogue, characterization, themes, weaving multiple storylines together, and plot twists.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I can't write a short fic to save my life, and I can't edit to save my life. I also just publish my first drafts because I have no impulse control (sorry).
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Funny enough I’ve done this, but only canon MBS dialogue where I've translated it directly from the show's subtitles. If I made an error, please let me know.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Mbs, and so far just mbs. Hoping to expand someday when I magically have more time (and finish Wolf359).
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
SOS, just because of what a fun journey it's been.

oh how the mighty fall / cold hard ground
HAPPY BIRTHDAY @separatist-apologist! MB, you are such a light in this fandom and an inspiration to me and I'm so grateful to count you as a friend 💕 You once requested that I make Azriel suffer a bit, I know it has taken a while but I never forgot so here you are. I hope you don't mind an angsty present.
TITLE CREDIT GOES TO FALLOUT BOY AND TAYLOR SWIFT iykyk
Summary:
He had known that Elain and Lucien were getting married today, of course he had. Months ago, when Gwyn asked him to be her date to a wedding on the same day, Azriel had felt like it was Christmas come early because it gave him a viable excuse to counter Rhys and Cassian’s insistence that he “was a part of this family” and “he should be there regardless of their history” because “it’s the start of a new chapter, Az, wouldn’t it be better if it began with the past being laid to rest?” Azriel didn’t think it was unreasonable that he would want to avoid his ex-girlfriend’s wedding but everyone else thought differently. Gwyn’s invitation, thought to be his saving grace, turned out to be his condemnation. OR A slightly bleak exploration of Azriel's relationships, past and present.

I was tagged by the lovely @mahpotatoequeen!! Thank you, MQ <3
How many works do you have on AO3? 33!
What’s your total AO3 word count? 91,623
How many fandoms have you written for, and what are they? Technically three: MBS Books, TV Show, and then Wolf 359. I don't know if the Books and Show really count as different fandoms?
Top five fics by kudos:
- Lights and Sounds (And What Comes After)
- Of Missed Opportunities and Scaled Fences
- Chance Encounter
- An Averagely Cold Winter Storm
- Mental Literature
Do you respond to comments? I try to! Sometimes it's hard because I get all self-conscious, but y'all are the nicest people ever and so I do my best to answer whenever I get the time.
What’s the fic with the angstiest ending you’ve ever written? Probably either Deep Space Survival Tip #552, because of what I insinuate about Hui, or Dr. W Dex, because that wasn't the intended ending but then I completely ran out of steam on that one.
Do you write crossovers? Nope! I've considered it, but holding two differing narrative styles in my brain at once sounds tricky.
Have you ever gotten hate on a fic? No, thank goodness. I would be very sad if I made someone angry enough to leave a comment like that.
Do you write smut? No. And I don't think I ever will.
Have you ever had a fic stolen? I hope not! I don't think anyone would want to steal my weird little stories, though.
Have you ever had a fic translated? No I have not! I would be very honoured though, and it would certainly be an interesting experience.
What’s your all-time favorite ship? I don't really do ships, but I love Found Family of all kinds!
What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you ever will? Probably that Dr. W Dex one I mentioned. I marked it as "complete", but it's technically still a WIP.
What are your writing strengths? I like writing dialogue, and I can do angst I guess?
What are your writing weaknesses? Goodness, it feels like everything asdfdf. But also descriptions and fluff. I'm working on getting better at fluff, but it's tricky for me.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fics? I can see where it has its uses, but I've never done it. I'm not confident enough to.
What was the first fandom you ever wrote for? Technically, I found a rambley old file that was for the Tangled TV Show, so that's my first fandom. But I don't usually count that because it was so bad and never finished.
I normally say MBS, because that's when I actually understood fanfiction and intentionally chose to write it.
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written so far? Ahhhhh. I hate looking back on my work. I usually publish it and then kind of pretend it didn't happen. But I do like Swept Away. It's kind of a silly concept, but it's something I thought about hundreds of times when I first read the books. Any of my older stuff, really. The further away I get from writing it the more I'm able to like it.

20 Questions for Fic Writers - Big thanks to the mega fabulous @kaossbells for tagging me!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
22 (look at that, Jenson's racing number...)
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
635,019
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Only F1 now. In the past I've mostly written for Muse. I've also written for BBC Sherlock. I have been writing since I was a kid, though, so there was a lot of stuff that didn't even make it online, let alone to AO3 lol
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Dance Me To The Moon (F1 / Sebastian Vettel), Zero Minus Ten (Muse), Everything of Nothing (Muse), Never Dream of Dying (Muse) and Resistance (Muse)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Absolutely. Unfortunately it's very common that readers do not give the authors any feedback. So if someone goes out of their way to show any kind of support or, as some very kind people do, leave detailed reviews, I will be incredibly grateful and make sure to let them know.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I often end my stories in a positive note, even the ones who have a vague or open ended finale. But I'd say a Muse one-off I wrote in 2009 called "Il Coma" was heavy for my standards. Also Never Dream of Dying, but that was part of a trilogy so not sure it counts. (well, the readers at the time were not pleased with the TBC, let's put it that way LOL)
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Currently, on AO3, I think Dance Me To The Moon. I don't want to spoil but it's a romance so.... haha
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I don't remember ever getting hate tbh.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Oh, yeah. Lots. Ha. All kinds. M/M. F/M. Threesomes. I've done PWP. I've done kink. I've done romance. I've done dubious/non-con. I've (literally) written smut sitting in a church. I've gotten to the point where I'm sort of getting bored of writing it.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Yes. I once wrote a Muse / BBC Sherlock crossover - Showbiz. It was incredibly fun to plot. It was well received, too, so I enjoyed that! The Mb-7 universe trilogy is also a crossover of sorts between Muse and Daniels Craig's James Bond, because characters such as M and Q feature.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
If I did, I never noticed.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I was once asked for permission for someone to translate a story, I felt very honoured!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yes, the whole MB-7 trilogy was co-written with one of my best friends.
14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?
In F1 I will have to say Sebastian with Jenson or with Mark. (although in reality I like him with everyone lol). But Mulder / Scully from The X Files and Matt Bellamy / Dom Howard from Muse are probably my OTPs.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I don't really have WIPs because although I have a lot of ideas and have plotted things in detail that never materialised, I only start writing once I am 100% I will write it in full.
The only exception - and therefore a regret I never finished - is a sequel to the BBC Sherlock / Muse crossover. I wrote a few pages and sadly that was it.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Hard for me to answer this. But I try to make the characters as realistic and true to life as possible. I also make it a point of having a decently structured plot.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Oh, god, where to start. I feel immediately restricted in how and what I write because my command of English (as second language) is not as good as I wish it would be. Then I'm also a very slow writer and edit endlessly. I tend to repeat ideas and certain expressions. I don't know, we could be here all day lol
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Very cool! I love languages and especially in F1 it's very fitting.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
It was a TV show and I don't remember the name, I was a kid. The first one I do remember was for an American band called Matchbox 20.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
This is SO hard to reply! I'm going to leave out one-shots (which kills me cos there is a few I still love) and mention only chaptered stuff:
Dance Me To The Moon (F1) because I never thought I'd be able to write a romance and I was so incredibly proud of myself, was fully emerged in it and I will carry these two with me for the rest of my life.
Resistance (Muse) because it was the first time I wrote a novel length thriller that I felt had all I wanted and it was such an enjoyable process.
Everything or Nothing (Muse) because it was the first of the MB-7 trilogy, it was co-written, we adored our villain, the huge amount of nods to James Bond. And it kicked off a series with a level of plot intricacy that I will never be able to top.
Showbiz (Sherlock / Muse) because it was such a crazy crossover but I had so much fun dissecting Sherlock and I was very happy with the result.
Honourable nod to a figure skating fanfic I wrote with Alexei Yagudin / Michelle Kwan, years ago. It was self-indulgence of the greatest kind and I loved writing every word of it. I have no idea if it's online anywhere atm. I wish I could remember the title!
tagging @magnycours2004, and anyone who would like to participate!!!

AO3 Tag Game!
Tagged by @mvshortcut :) I did it here as well but now I'm doing it for this fandom/account bc I CAN (a lot of this will be directly copy/pasted if applicable im sowwy)
How many works do you have on AO3?
116. (Including snippet collections.) For this fandom/account. Far more if you count others,
What’s your total AO3 word count?
Okay this one it won't let me separate by pseud or fandom so you're just gonna have to live with being lumped in with all my MBS and a few other misc fics at "653,461". Didn't get the other accounts though. Man, I'm a mess
How many fandoms have you written for, and what are they?
Okay, well, this one by nature is also not solely for this fandom,
(number in parentheses is number of ao3 works posted)
The Mysterious Benedict Society (116) (including snippet collections)
Ted Lasso (44) (also including snippet collections)
Instinct (2) (one is a small snippet collection--)
House MD (1)
Death by Dying (1)
Gravity Falls, technically, but it was one crossover (1)
ditto with The Legend of Zelda (1)
King Falls AM (1)
The House in the Cerulean Sea (6)
Shadowhunters (??? at least 36) (some now hidden/lost)
Professor Layton (1)
The Librarians (2)
The Sandman (1)
The Mentalist (2)
Star Trek (AOS) (1)
Sanders Sides (at least 1)
Miraculous Ladybug (1)
Rosewell: New Mexico (2)
The Dresden Files (1)
That's stuff posted to ao3/finished. There's also, technically,
for stuff I published when I was twelve and I now refuse to acknowledge (not all bc of the fandom but bc the fic was Bad):
Doctor Who
Supernatural
Sherlock
Psych
Castle
Welcome to Night Vale
Avengers
A Series of Unfortunate Events
And then stuff I've written for but never finished:
Warehouse 13
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2016)
Dirk Gently (2010)
SurrealEstate
Zoo (podcast)
Once Upon a Time
Scooby Doo
Person of Interest
The Goes Wrong Show
Spy Kids (???)
Ace Attorney
The Adventure Zone
Criminal Minds
Star Trek (TOS, TNG, and DS9)
Haven
MacGyver
Trollhunters
exactly one (1) joke The Magnus Archives fic
Percy Jackson and the Olympians + The Kane Chronicles + Tales of Apollo
Leverage
Pushing Daisies
The Sarah Jane Adventures
Megamind
Bones
Avatar: the Last Airbender
Lucifer
Some of these are deeply questionable and/or only have like two (2) wips or even posted works at most, but I'm thorough. Also, I will write about almost anything bc my brain loves to process things like this. I may have even missed something
Top five fics by kudos:
I was gonna have the snippets collections not count but I've got so many exact ties it doesn't matter.
gemini schmemini (136)
kate and her bucket sitting in a tree, S-P-Y-I-N-G (98)
caught (81)
[insert poetic title here] (81)
affectionate gestures<3 (81)
of rube goldbergs and weather machines (74)
tumblr snippets: mbs edition (74)
keeping out the cold (70)
birdsong (70)
Number Two Regrets Her Life Choices™ (68)
timeline? i don't know her (68)
That's actually 6 bc I made a mistake but I've already color coded them so whatever
Do you respond to comments?
I really try to, but then I get all in my head about it and/or am really really tired and put it off so long it then feels like it would be weird to respond because it's been forever. However, if there's a direct question or something I want to address/respond to, as in, I have something particularly unique to say or a question to answer, then I'll usually respond really fast.
And this fandom's smaller so if I'm slightly more likely to respond 😭
Also when I know who's commenting personally which is al ot more likely
What’s the fic with the angstiest ending you’ve ever written?
Honestly, I'm not a huge unhappy ending person, but. uhhh
solo
bring me home (in a blinding dream)
hollowed
seasalt
checkmate
dark side of the moon
wretched clarity
cruel kindness
green-eyed monster
the naming of cats
curled & crushed
oops
I didn't even look at the snippet collections lkgfhjh
Do you write crossovers?
Not often, but I rotate them in my brain. Honestly, though, I'm more inclined to write a fusion than a crossover proper. And even so, I tend to just be thinking about it rather than actually writing it. I've only written one crossover in recent memory (recently, that is) and it was mostly a joke about a shared actress made into actual angst. :)
Have you ever gotten hate on a fic?
Yeah lmao
Do you write smut?
😏 ......not for this fandom. That I'd post anyway
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
👁️👁️ not. Directly in this fandom
Have you ever had a fic translated?
yes!! also not in this fandom
What’s your all-time favorite ship?
In this fandom? Nicholas/Milligan. Overall, ever? Recency bias/hyperfixationitis says whatever I'm into the most at the moment. But generally for MBS I prefer gen (although I've written a lot of Nicholas/Milligan, that's partially because it's blissfully easier to find gen already)
What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you ever will?
:(
SO many
Particularly minotaur, the dearly departed, and the "paralyzed" series. Oh and the hanahaki AU
What are your writing strengths?
I think I can write a really funny string of dialogue, and I'm also fond of fun metaphors, both in the elegant poetic way and in the more Douglas Adams/Terry Pratchett way (which is to say, still potentially elegant but also comedic as hell)
What are your writing weaknesses?
Motivating myself to write anything; being overly self-indulgent
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fics?
I'm extremely bad at linguistics in general, so if I must include someone talking in another language in my fic, I think I'd tend to cheat and do italics or some other indication that this is 'in another language' (ie "Where are you going?" she asked in Russian), but that's admittedly a lazy approach. But I also think it's probably better than butchering it with an auto-translator? Also, when people just include the translation in the end notes, even with a link (although that makes it marginally better) it breaks the flow of the story and makes it hard to read. Making an effort to at least match grammar is good (which I would do if it was for longer than a single scene, probably) but I think the best solution is when people know what they're doing and like, have an actual translation with a little html code so you can click on it and it reveals what it means? Or if you're clever, revealing what it means using context around it, but that has its own limitations. So that both like, uses the actual language and doesn't break up the flow. It balances accessibility, flow, and respect for the other language in question well. But you've got to both know what you're doing with the language (either asking someone/hiring someone/knowing the language yourself) and the html (although there are guides for that you'd have to spend time figuring it out + know it exists in the first place to look). And this is fanfiction, something we ultimately do for free in our spare time, so the lazy approach, I think, can be understandable. Maybe not in every context, but it's not worth stressing a lot over in a few random lines or anything, you know? It is really cool when people do know a language well enough to include it properly in a fic, though, it can say a lot about a character or dynamic; and their background(s) and like. it's neat :)
What was the first fandom you ever wrote for?
Ever? Doctor Who. In a shitty little notebook in middle school. Then there was some Star Trek (both TNG and TOS) and Avatar: the Last Airbender and Marvel and such, and then Supernatural (my first smut? extremely terrible Destiel smut. rip) and I think the first thing I ever posted was Welcome to Night Vale? Not sure.
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written so far?
Oh, man. I have no idea. Here's a few favorites from this fandom:
cain's lament
minotaur
shades of green
a hope in hell
Number Two Regrets Her Life Choices™

GIF MAKER ASKS IF YOU WILL PLEASE
1, 6, 8 (are there gif trends???), 12 (I AM AN INQUIRING MIND AND I MUST KNOW), 46
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME
1. What are your top 3 favorite sets you’ve made
I answered this one here: favorite sets
But can I interest you in one runner-up per fandom?
The X-Files: Bantering about the events of Fight the Future
Schitt's Creek: David's boyfriend -> David's husband
911 Lone Star: 🤨 (affectionate)
6. What is your least favorite movie/TV show to gif
Hmmm. I don't know if I've ever thought about it that way. I wouldn't necessarily give that title to any show or movie as a whole. But there are specific scenes from each show that I have had to put in time out because coloring them is just the WORST. Some of them are still in time out. Lol.
8. What gif trend do you hate
You bring up a good question: *are* there gif trends? I think maybe there are. At least, I've noticed different styles of gifs come and go over the years. At one point, very pale gifs were rather common. There was a time when most gifs were full width, but not very tall. (Although, I think that was mostly just people trying to fit within file size limits, which used to be only 3 mb. HOW DID WE MANAGE??)
Some gif styles look better on my laptop than my phone. And vice versa. But I can't think of any gif trends that I actually disliked overall.
12. What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever giffed
Tbh, I don't know. I'm sorry that's a very boring answer here. Lol. I think it's just that gif making is a very slow process for me. So if I've actually moved forward with a gif set and eventually finished it? I've had a lot of time to think about whether or not it's worth seeing through.
There are older sets that I cringe at. But it's really a quality/coloring issue. I know I could do better now. If I had the energy/motivation, I'd go back and fix them. Does that count?
46. Ever gotten a really sweet compliment over a set
I don't know if this something you'd categorize as a compliment, but someone once left a tag on a set that really stuck with me: #thank you for sharing your gifs op!
It was just such a nice thing to say, and I guess I needed to hear it. Normally, by the time I get to posting, my mind is just in anxiety mode. "Here's this thing. I worked very hard on it. I hope it doesn't suck, but all I can see right now are the flaws I was unable to fix."
I get so caught up in the reasons why I'm unhappy with a set that I have a hard time thinking about it the way that person did—as something to share with everyone else, even if it isn't perfect. So yeah. I try to remember that one.
Thank you so much for the ask, @lemonlyman-dotcom!

Ooh I have a bunch of fics I love, but only couple I consistently come back to again and again.
1. 江山如有待 | It Seems the Hills and Rivers Have Been Waiting
Author: ScarlettStorm
Words: 295,959
Chapters: 31/31
Fandom: MDZS
Rating: Explicit | F/M
Gosh I love this fic so much. I've reread it like 4-5 times now, which I guess adds up to like 1,500,000 words of it. I like Wangxian, but Jiang Cheng with a super buff and smart trans woman is just too good.
2. From "Eden"
Author: torpidgilliver
Words: 3,269
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: The Murderbot Diaries
Rating: Gen | Gen
The normal Murderbot fic in this list, about ART becoming penpals with Tapan. It's told in epistolary format (shout out to the tags of this fic for cementing what that word actually means for me) short and sweet but also wonderful and hilarious.
3. Service with a Smile
Author: lick
Words: 5,774
Chapters: 2/?
Fandom: The Murderbot Diaries
Rating: Teen | Gen
The not normal Murderbot fic, by which I mean it's one of very few modern au MB fics, and it made me really interested in the concept. Who knows, I might even write something about it if I get the writing urge and don't finish my WIPs first. I enjoyed how the bot-to-bot (bot-to-construct really) connection between MB and ART turned into a trans/enby/(it/its) user-to-trans/enby/(it/its) user connection.
hey dude can you make a post about ur followers sharing their personal comfort fics as a way to bond as a community? if the request doesnt bother u ofc
Of course!!
Hey y’all- let’s start a chain, add your favorite personal comfort fic- any fandom!!

MB FLASH REVERSE BANG QUESTIONS! Here you have some questions on what you can expect with our event:
(FAQ 1/) Q - what is a reverse bang?
A - in a reverse bang, artists will submit a sketch for the event and writers will claim their favorite sketch to write a fanfic for.
(FAQ 2/) Q - why a flash bang?
A - normally bangs are quite lengthy. we decided to make this one quicker to give an opportunity to those in our fandom who want to join in, but who usually either can't or don't want to commit to a long process.
(FAQ 3/) Q - how quick are we talking?
A - we've allowed between 1 to 2 months (max) for the creation period in our schedule, and the posting period will be for a few weeks to give you the leeway you need to post whenever it feels right for you.
(FAQ 4/) Q - will I have to stick to the 'spring' theme?
A - yes, but it doesn't have to be a huge factor in your final piece! it can literally be anything to events mb attend during springtime to just spring vibes while they celebrate kaoru's birthday.
(FAQ 5/) Q - what kind of content is allowed?
A - anything goes! SFW, NSFW or dark themes/dead dove everything will be separated and tagged, so if you don't want to see certain content during creation, you won't have to.
(FAQ 6/) Q - can I sign up as both artist and writer?
A - of course! provided that you keep things anonymous at preview/claims, you can sign up for multiple roles
(FAQ 7/) Q - can we join the bang pre-paired?
A - absolutely; if you already know who you want to work with, then you can let us know at sign ups!
if you have any other questions about our event that you want to ask, that you can't find either here or on our carrd, please let us know through our question form:

@eyelessdoll-y, thanks for tagging!
(Really like such things as fandom bingos:) )

1. Well I think Karl deserves his own route because he's so mysterious... well I mean I personally understand his motivation to do all those terrible things, but it'd fascinating to watch his origins, the Genesis of this crazy shit he had done :)
2. No, I actually discovered DL games after I'd watched ALL THE SERIES and read the manga (but I don't fucking remember it except the Young Blood)
3. Weeeeellll
In theory he has to, but... He's not) Thank you rejet for creating at least 1 guy who's not that aggressive
4. Nope, I'd that friend who introduced DL to others :)
5. Absolutely. Man he sucks, I can't. I don't even know how I read his HDB and MB routes, so boring... Why he's always the 1st? I guess it's the factor of appearance... I don't get it in any way and I can't understand why Rejet so defensive about him
6. Hmm sort of, IN COMPARISON with Sakamaki's. But Idk I haven't thought about them like: aww uwuwu they're so cute
No🤷♂️ (shit where's my Ruki – Kou chemistry 🤔)
7. Yeah, I used to hate Azusa because he looked as if he was doing drugs.
=)
Yeah...
8. I guess Yuuri should be shown at least, but I'm not I huge fun of Kino, so I kinda don't care
9. Why they should? Idk I think mom's development is good enough. So maybe that's only Beatrix who need a deeper story, but these characters are just a function/explanation why boys behave like they do
10. Honestly, I've never liked Ruki, so this is okay 👍
11. Eh :(
I'd like to see an official English translation, but I highly appreciate tumblr translator's work 🤲
12. Hmmmmm
Well the conflict is kinda... okay, but they're rivalry is one-sided, cause Shu gave up. (Well he has a depression, it's not the same but in my context I meant that)
I don't know, what stops me to say it's a good written conflict. Maybe it's just the fact that Shu is much more excused than Reiji. I mean Shu is also not an angel after all, but...
I'm struggling to say what i think about it...
13. Yes yes yes. Since Rejet had given her a name, a background story ( puny but still) I think she's an independent character and it'd be nice if player's choices were provided a bit more often to perceive that she influences too
14. Agree🤷♂️
15. I remember I used to like Kou cause he was beautiful.
Then I read his route....
16. Idk, seriously....

20 Questions for Writers
Thank you for tagging me, @myfairkatiecat <3
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
29 so far
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
81,543 words
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mostly MBS, but I have a few very short Wolf 359 fics
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Weirdly, Lights and Sounds (And What Comes After) is one of my top fics in Hits and Kudos. Which. Strange. But other than that it's Of Missed Opportunities and Scaled Fences, Mental Literature, Chance Encounter, and my first fic and biggest titular regret Reynie Going Comatose Apology Fic Where it Actually Ends Happy
So, basically y'all like seeing me bully Reynie /j /lh
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to! It can be really intimidating sometimes because people are really nice to me and it doesn't feel like it can be real, but I do my best to respond to every comment I get.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Probably Deep Space Survival Tip #552 because of the things it hints at with Hui. I love him so much but I didn't want to fight canon so it's a bit sad.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I work really hard to have happy endings, but the silliest one is likely The Best Solution to Nightmares is Buying a House because it fulfils my headcanon of the Society all living together when they grow up and I also ignored federal laws in order to explain where they got the money adsjkdf
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
I haven't yet, thankfully. I think I'd probably just cry.
9. Do you write smut?
Absolutely not! To do so would make me personally really uncomfortable, so I don't think I ever will.
10. Do you write crossovers?
No. I've never tried, but I have a feeling I'd be pretty bad at it.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of, but none of my fics have been up for very long anyway
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope! I'd be happy to help in any way I could if someone wanted to, though
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
No, but it sounds fun :)
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
I don't really do ships, but I like all friendships and familial relationships!
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Um. Honestly all of them right now. I'm kind of Going Through It with my writing at the moment.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I don't know about strengths, but I love writing dialogue. It's usually what comes to me first.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Holding out long enough to finish something properly! I get nervous halfway through and abandon a lot of projects because I worry so much.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I love writing dialogue, but I am terrified of messing up another language and upsetting people, so probably not.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
MBS! I had never really tried fanfic writing before last summer, so it was very exciting for me to try.
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
Probably I don't wanna know I'm not capable. I feel silly saying it, but it's pretty long for me, and it was such a struggle that I'm still really proud I was able to finish it at all.
