Fiquei completamente apaixonada pelo imagine que você fez do Logan/Wade/Reader, queria muito outro assim, nada em especial, só mais sobre o relacionamento dos três (I'm really bad with requests, sorry)
(Rough translation by google: I was completely in love with the imagine you made of Logan/Wade/Reader, I really wanted another one like that, nothing in particular, just more about the relationship of the three) if it’s translated something within the request wrong, let me know.
Tumblr media
Emotional support isn’t either Wade nor Logan’s strong suit. one made a massive joke out of everything, even his own feelings, while the other suppressed them unhealthily.
So needless to say if emotional comfort is what you were after, you were unfortunately out of luck but that didn’t mean that the pair were about to leave you to suffer alone during such a rough time in your life. Wade and Logan will find a way to help you anyway they could.
Wade would insist that you both have a spontaneous day where you’d do anything that came to your mind without judgment. You may or may not end up making dick cookies together in the kitchen whilst wearing your matching unicorn onesie pyjamas, covered in flour and other stuff.
Ass slaps -consensual of course- are a common occurrence between you, Wade and Logan…well mainly you and Wade…but Logan will gently tap your ass before kissing your forehead, meanwhile giving Wade the hardest slap that would leave a hand shape bruise that would last a week.
Cuddles are something that’s also frequent in your relationship with Wade and Logan but most -if not all- of the time you were in the middle of the both of them, leeching off of their warmth like the parasite you were but you were living the life.
Wade doesn’t care whether he’s the big or small spoon as either way he gets to be close to you in some capacity, where as Logan likes to be the big spoon so he could keep you safe and protected, always sleeping with his back to the door so that if anything were to happen they’d have to get through him.
Wade’s petnames for you are:
Cutie patootie with the booty
Peanut (something he also calls Logan)
Pookie/pookie bear
Sexiest person alive
Logan’s petnames for you are:
Darling
Sweetheart
That’s pretty much it as he’s not too overly worried about petnames, where as Wade has a thousand more up his sleeve that he pulls out of nowhere.
You and Wade would sometimes blatantly check out Logan whenever he’s shirtless and doing his one thing while you and Wade laid on the floor, feet kicking in the air as you both admired your hot partner. (Logan is very aware of what you two were doing but didn’t have it in him to say shit)
Dog pool is basically your, Logan and wades child and she is spoilt the fuck by the three of you for being the cutest dog you’ve ever seen. You dressed her up as Mary Poppins once for Halloween and now you have albums upon albums filled with pictures of dog pool in cute doggy costumes. This is her cannon event.
Logan has nightmares and would often act all cold and distant afterwards but you would gently grab his arm and pull him in for a comforting hug. ‘Don’t walk away,’ you said, ‘please we can figure this out together okay? You’ve been alone long enough, don’t for yourself to fall back into old habits when you’ve got two people who care deeply about you and want to see you okay.’ You add as you rub your hand up and down his back reassuringly until you manage to ease him back into bed and fall asleep on top of his chest so he doesn’t move.
You press kisses to Wade’s face and call him handsome, gorgeous, cutie, all sorts of names that have him feeling soft and fuzzy within his chest because he’s aware of how he looks, but you loved him unconditionally and would even help him with toupees and whatnot, though not before telling him that you find him attractive how he is and wouldn’t want him to change for anyone.
You got a lot of kisses and cuddles from him later because you had no right being that fucking cute!

enamored with the bill possessing Ford's body au. If you would feel up to it, do you have more tidbits? :3
I’m happy to see so many people enjoying it!! I have a lot of additional tidbits so I’ll just stick to giving a few for now:
— Dipper finds out Ford is the author a lot earlier, for the obvious reasons of Bill being present in Ford’s body. He doesn’t put the pieces together right away, only because initially, he hates Bill, disappointed that the ‘scientist’ his parents spoke about that he wanted to impress turned out to be nothing like what he had hoped, ignoring and dismissing him instead, even taking a liking to Mabel before him! He has this idealised version of the author in his head, someone who he relates to and finds comfort in, and he doesn’t want to taint that vision by suspecting it may be someone who he hates. He may be a mystery lover but he is still a twelve year old with a grudge.
It’s only after he and Bill start getting along that he brings it up, and Bill doesn’t think to lie. He’s just that surprised Dipper found it. He does lie about not remembering things though to avoid Dipper’s questions about the paranoia and why he hid it — as on the spot kind of thing, and that becomes Dipper’s mystery fixation of the summer.
— Stan and Bill have various nicknames for each other, with Bill’s main one for Stan being ‘Fez’, and Stan’s main one for Bill being ‘Goldie’.
— Speaking of them, when it comes to their relationship, they are genuinely friends after thirty years of living together, but what that friendship entails is where it gets complicated and I don’t think I can summarise here. I’d say it can best be described as two people who have come to understand each other very deeply, and are similar in a thousand ways, but they would rather throw themselves off a cliff than acknowledge or talk about that. There’s also the lingering anger and resentment on Stan’s end, not for taking Ford’s body, he knows Bill doesn’t want to be stuck here either, but for what he did to Ford before that, how he hurt him. He, much to his confusion, does care about Bill, and Bill, much to his own confusion as well, does care about Stan back, but their friendship is built on something awful, and that doesn’t just go away.
— On a sillier note, it was in 1990 that Stan realised Bill was his only friend and that he sort of enjoyed his company, and that truly was a horrifying moment. On the other end Bill finally admits to some degree he might care for Stan in 1994, which happens while both of them are drunk, and Bill likes to claim it didn’t happen. The image below also probably summarises the lighter aspect of their dynamic better than I could word it here:
Tumblr media
— Bill has taxidermy as a hobby and actually gives Dipper and Mabel a few lessons in it, creating some displays for the shack. Weirdly good bonding activity.
— Very specific ‘episode’ idea in my mind where Stan and Bill get framed by Faires that Bill angered a thousand years ago for a crime they didn’t commit, and Dipper and Mabel have to figure out how to prove their innocence, finding more about their Grunkles along the way, and also having to beat a fairy in a game of poker.
— Mabel at some point comes to the conclusion her “Grunkle Ford” had a bad breakup that he still hasn’t gotten over and makes it her goal to help him through it. This is part of her summer mission. It comes up frequently. It’s ridiculous I know but what is Gravity Falls without a generous amount of both angst and utter silliness.
Tumblr media
I’ll probably leave it at that for now! But if you’d want more or have any specific questions, I shall do my best. I’m still figuring out some stuff too so input will be helpful.

ʙᴇᴛᴛᴇʀ ᴏꜰꜰ
pairing(s): maddy perez x fem!reader (no pronouns used.)
warning(s): angst? arguing? none technically. old fic meaning old ass writing.
summary: you can't understand why Maddy won't save your failing relationship
part two. (coming soon!)
────────✬────────
you were laid against fezco's couch while you, him, and rue shared a blunt. tv on, with a random movie blaring from it. you don't know, you weren't really paying attention. maddy was clouding your mind as she usually did.
you had your sixth argument alone this week. you were tired—you couldn't understand. everything was fine. you were fine—more than fine, you were happy. so was maddy or at least you thought because all she seemed to do was start an argument lately. the weirdest part: she'd get even more mad when you tried to deescalate the situation and understand her.
"i think jules is cheating on me." rue announced, blowing smoke from her nose.
"oh word?" fezco let out while I was hummed in response.
was that it? was maddy cheating on you? no. you held her too high to think of her doing that.
"she’a been hanging with elliot a lottt." rue dragged her words.
"maybe you should ask her..." you trail off.
“you know, communicate.”
"yea’ that's word. communication is key." you both turn to fezco.
"when have you been in a relationship?" rue asked the question you were both thinking.
"don’t worry about me—I know a little some." you snort, you loved fez. you knew if you needed anything he had you.
"yo, there's this weird ass old guy out back." everyone looked at ashtray who held a shotgun in his hands.
"fuck, man."
fez stood and turned to both of you, "y'all should head out."
you didn't ask any questions, standing up you made your way to the door. rue behind you as well, grumbling about how she was comfortable.
"you need a ride?" you asked the Bennett.
"nah I got a bike."
maddy's house was on the way to yours so you figured why not stop by. you weren't in the mood to argue so you thought maybe you could get her relaxed and watch a movie.
you knocked on the door a totaled or three times before her mom open it,
"y/n?" she seemed oddly surprised to see you.
"hey mrs.perez, is maddy here?"
"yeah, she's in her room." she pointed to the familiar stairs, stepping aside to let you.
you followed the route upstairs, knocking on the bedroom door twice before peaking your head in. maddy on her bed, phone to her ear. her eyes met you face and she rolled her eyes before telling whoever (assumed Cassie) on the phone she'd call them later.
"hey—I was on my way home and wanted to stop by, hope you don't min—
"come here." you followed, closing the door behind you. surprisingly, she pulled you into a hug, after placing a kiss on the corner of your mouth.
"listen, I don't wanna argu—
"were you smoking?" she questioned, sniffing your shirt that had a light scent of weed.
"yeah, just a little." you mutter already having an idea where this was going.
"you've been doing it a lot—and you've been hanging with rue."
"i’m not on that shit, maddy. just some weed and light drinking. just to relax." you huff at her accusation.
"drinking too? what? you gonna end of like my dad AND rue?" here you go.
"maddy—"
"you’re so fucking selfish." here come the insults.
“i do it because of you!" you blurt of out, voice rising.
"me? no you do because you're fucking self and only think about yourself. god—i should've known when i found you were friends with rue and fez."
you perk up, pointing your finger. “they're good people. don’t you fucking look down on them."
you weren't normally defensive but you weren't gonna let her shit talk your people.
"look, maddy, i didn't come here for this shit. so call me when you get your head on right, bro." you stood, trying to exit of the door you came in but maddy’s hand caught your wrist.
"stay."
"i just—
"we can watch a movie." she gave you doe eyes and you contemplated for a second.
if you stay you know you'd probably argue again but there's also a chance you can be civil. but that was a 75 to 35 ratio
"please, baby."
you sigh, sitting back down.

Could you do one of Steven Hyde x reader (fem reader if you could) where they don’t really get along and fight a lot but then something happens that changes it (like Hyde realizing he has a crush on reader or something like that) and it eventually leads to them kissing so basically enemies to lovers trope.
On My Nerves (Steven Hyde X Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: Despite having the same friends for years, you and Steven Hyde have never seemed to get along. Your latest squabble with the boy sparks a fire, both literally and figuratively.
A/N: au where jackie and hyde didn’t date so at the campout, kelso’s just trying to get back with jackie. also kinda hints at smut at the end but not too much
***
Since it was planned, you’d been looking forward to your friends’ campout to celebrate graduating high school. Four grueling years of education finally coming to a close. You were a bit anxious that you all decided to make the trip the night before graduation, but you were reassured that you’d all make it back to town in time for the ceremony.
But as everyone prepared to leave, some things came up that you weren’t really looking forward to.
First, Eric’s sister Laurie was coming with you. You didn’t really know why, considering she had graduated high school years ago and always fought with her brother. But you knew the boys were more than okay with her company, some having different reasons than others.
Second, Jackie was also coming on the trip. This was more acceptable to you because although she was a year younger than everyone, she was actually a part of the friend group. But you weren’t looking forward to whatever would happen with her and Kelso. Although the two had broken up multiple times, Jackie really seemed to like having the boy fight for her attention.
Third, because of tent space and not wanting to sleep outside, you and Hyde would have to share a tent. Sure, you and Hyde were kind of friends. But you definitely preferred being with other people in the group instead of him. It was like the man was born to get on your nerves.
“Oh, yeah. Just keep moving slower, Y/n.” Hyde said, watching you set up the tent you’d unfortunately have to share. “By this rate, the tent will be ready when we have to leave tomorrow.”
“You know, if I had someone to help me, the tent would be set up by now.” You sneered, locking one of the poles into place.
“Fine.” He replied, and you could tell he was rolling his eyes behind his sunglasses. He reached for the pole in your hands and yanked it with such force that it came undone and somehow smacked you in the face.
You yelped in surprise and pain, hand flying up to your forehead. You could see Hyde’s eyebrows raise, maybe in remorse or humor. Humor was more likely. But he didn’t make any other moves.
“Thanks a lot, jerk!” You snatched the tent pole back and stood from your slightly crouched position.
“Y/n, I-”
“Just go get firewood with Kelso and Fez.” Hyde looked like he didn’t want to do that, and you assumed it was because he either didn’t want to do anything at all or he didn’t want to hear Kelso fawn over Jackie.
But eventually, he started to walk away. You muttered a quick ‘asshole’ under your breath, and Hyde seemed to have heard it from the way he slightly stiffened. But what surprised you was that instead of coming back to pick another fight, he kept walking into the woods.
***
When Hyde came back, you were still alone. The tent was finally up, and you decided to set up chairs and logs around where your friends wanted the campfire.
“Hey.” He said, dropping the sticks in a pile and sitting in a chair across from you. Instead of responding, you crumpled up some newspaper and put it in the pile. “Sorry about your forehead.”
That surprised you a bit. Steven Hyde wasn’t exactly known for apologizing.
“Whatever.” You said, and you couldn’t decide whether it was to say that what had happened didn’t matter to you or that his apology didn’t matter to you.
“Why do you have to be such a brat?”
“And why do you have to be such a dick?”
You weren’t entirely surprised that the two of you were fighting so quickly. But it would be nice to have a little break from it, especially since you guys were supposed to be celebrating.
“It’s not my fault your face was in the way.” Hyde leaned back in his chair, looking at you through his shades.
“Ha ha, very funny.” You said, clearly not amused. “God, I’m starting to think you like getting on my damn nerves.”
“Well, it’s not like it’s hard.” He said, standing up and walking over to you. You stood up as well, crossing your arms. “You’re always wound up so tight; it’s like any little thing will set you off.”
“You don’t know anything about how ‘wound up’ I am.”
“Believe me, sweetheart, you just don’t know how to have any fun.”
“Well, we all can’t be high every single day, can we. Some of us have actual lives.”
“Oh yeah, like you’d know anything about having a life.”
Wrapped up in your little fight, you hadn’t noticed until now how close you and Hyde had gotten to each other. You could almost clearly see his eyes through his dark sunglasses. You gulped, eyes darting all around his face because you couldn’t decide on where to focus. Meanwhile, Hyde took a deep breath, glancing at your scowling lips before trying to look away.
“Whatever.” You said again, digging around in your pocket and pulling out a matchbox. You lit one of the matches and threw it in the pile of sticks and newspaper, starting the fire. With one last look at Hyde, you stalked off to your tent.
***
Before you knew it, it was almost completely pitch black. The only thing lighting up the campsite was the bonfire, which you and your friends huddled around. You’d probably be lying if you said you were actually enjoying yourself. The night had been filled with nothing but Fez drooling over Laurie, Eric and Donna talking about their future as a married couple, and Kelso playing stupid songs for Jackie on the guitar that he had brought.
And Hyde was grumbling about every little thing, but that was nothing new.
“Hey, Kelso, can I see that?” You asked innocently, hand reaching out for the instrument. Kelso hesitantly but willingly handed it to you, maybe thinking you would play a song.
Soon, everyone laughed and cheered as the guitar quickly burned in the fire, their ears and sanity finally saved.
“Hey!” Kelso yelled, shock written all over his face. But you ignored it, for some reason more focused on Hyde’s little snickering hidden behind his hand.
One by one, everyone in your group had somehow left the bonfire. You didn’t pay too much attention as to why, just knowing that the lake nearby seemed to be everyone’s destination. But once again, you and Hyde were sitting across from each other, the only ones at the campsite.
For some reason, there seemed to be some new kind of tension. You didn’t care for that, so you were about to get up and leave when Hyde said something.
“I really am sorry, man.” He said, staring at the fire. “About… well, you know.”
“It’s fine.” You said quietly.
The two of you sat in silence, more comfortable than usual. Wanting something to do, you grabbed a stick and started to roast a marshmallow. You leaned closer to the fire to try to take in some of its heat.
“Shit!” You hissed, yanking your hand back and dropping your stick. You don’t know why you had suddenly become so susceptible to injuries today, but you found yourself cradling your hand to your chest after it had been licked by a flame.
“Are you okay?” Hyde was suddenly beside you on the log you were sitting on, carefully pulling at your hand so he could have a look.
“What do you think?” You asked sarcastically.
“Don’t be a brat.” You bit your tongue, too tired to start a fight. Your lack of response surprised Hyde, but he didn’t comment on it. “You’ll be fine; it doesn’t look too bad.”
You nodded, deciding to trust his assessment. Hyde didn’t let go of your hand, keeping it in his grasp as he looked up at you. Once again, your faces were very close to each other, and you gulped.
You couldn’t find it in you to back away, not really wanting to for some reason. It seemed like Hyde felt the same way, because the two of you were frozen in place.
Until Hyde started moving even closer. It was subtle, but his face inched closer to yours, and his eyes darted down to your lips. His sunglasses weren’t able to shield his eyes’ movements; instead, they hung on the collar of his shirt.
Hyde pressed his lips to yours, gentle movements seeming uncharacteristic based on his snarky attitude. But then, once you got used to the contact, the kiss became more rough, and you started grasping at anything you could. You pulled at his hair while he gripped the back of your neck.
“Maybe we should test out that tent.”
“You’re so gross.”

get him back! - Steven Hyde x Reader
A/N: first time writing for That 70s Show! This is based on Season 1, and inspired by the new song, ‘get him back!’ by Olivia Rodrigo. I heard the lyrics and thought immediately of Hyde. Hope you love this, and let me know what you think. DISCLAIMER, I DO NOT SUPPORT DANNY MASTERSON, I AM WRITING FOR THE CHARACTER HYDE ONLY!!!
Summary: you decide you want to get your ex back….just in a more ‘sinister’ way
Pairing: Steven Hyde x Reader
Word Counter: 3,512
Warnings: angst, slow burn, cursing, toxic relationship (pls don’t think this is healthy lol), lotsss of arguing, mentions of sex, harassment, alcohol
~~~~~~~~
I met a guy in the summer, and I left him in the spring
He argued with me about everything
He had an ego and a temper and a wandering eye
He said he's six-foot-two, and I'm like, "Dude, nice try"
You were introduced to the gang in the summer by Donna. You had been talking to her throughout sophomore year, and she decided you would be a perfect fit for the group.
Everyone was kind of weird, but you found it fun and loved how things were always different with them, especially when it came to Steven Hyde.
You had always thought he was cute, even before officially meeting him. His curly hair was something you wanted to touch and play with, and his eyes hidden behind sunglasses made him seem mysterious. Not to mention, who doesn't love a ‘fuck the patriarchy’ kind of attitude.
So, despite it taking a while to happen, you both eventually started dating at the beginning of the new year. And it was a complete trainwreck.
Hyde was the worst boyfriend at times. He never wanted to do the things you wanted, he would show up late to pick you up, and sometimes it felt like you were just convenient eye candy.
What made it worse? It was clear he had a thing for Donna, despite her and Eric wanting to be together.
After a month, others started to notice.
You were in the basement with Eric, working on a school project when Donna walked in.
"Hey, y/n, can we talk?" Donna asked as she sat on the couch.
"Well, we are kind of busy," Eric started before you interrupted with, "Yeah, sure."
Eric looked taken aback but put his book down anyway and sat back. "Right, it's not like we need to do schoolwork. Who needs education?"
"Eric, shut up," Donna rolled her eyes. "Look, we need to talk about you and Hyde... I don't know if you should keep going out with him."
There was an awkward silence before Eric got up. "I'm gonna... go anywhere but here," he said before rushing up the steps.
"What are you talking about?" You sighed, putting down your own books.
"He treats you like crap! I was at The Hub yesterday, and he showed up. I asked if you were with him, and all he had to say was, 'No,' and I know for a fact you were excited to have a movie night with him last night. You don't deserve to be treated like that!" Donna insisted.
You hesitated for a moment. That's where he was. It was bad enough he never showed up for your date at the theater, but the idea that he was with Donna instead made it even worse. You ended up drowning your feelings in buttered-up popcorn and the movie "Fun with Dick and Jane."
Most of the time when he wanted to hang out, he would drag you out to multiple parties and any club he could sneak you both into. If it was something you wanted to do, like a movie night, you would find yourself alone.
You shrugged it off, telling Donna, "Oh no. We actually canceled it. I wanted some alone time."
Donna saw through your excuse and tried to argue with you, but that day you insisted on moving on.
It didn't get better. You had more interactions similar to it, not only with Donna but soon with Eric, Jackie, and even Fez, all within the same week.
He said I was the only girl, but that just wasn't the truth
And when I told him how he hurt me, he'd tell me I was trippin'
But I am my father's daughter, so maybe I could fix him
"Hyde, can we talk?" You asked softly as he flipped through a magazine next to you on the bed.
"What about?" He mumbled, not really paying attention to you. Not like he had been for the entire two hours you'd been at his house.
"Hyde, you stood me up last week. Can you put down the magazine?"
Hyde huffed and threw it down, saying, "There. What?"
You took a deep breath and sat up on his bed. "Look, I know you're not always the most romantic or anything, and I'm not trying to demand too much, but can we agree that if we set a date, you'll show up to it? It's really embarrassing for me, and others notice-"
"It's none of their business. Since when did you care what the others think?" Hyde questioned, his eyes narrowing at you behind his dark-tinted sunglasses. Despite wearing them, you always could tell his expression behind them.
"Well, I care when I get told by everyone that you treat me like shit," you stated in a point-blank manner.
Hyde chuckled a little, as if you were stating lies that were barely grazing his tough, shielded skin. "I don't treat you like shit."
"You ditched me last week! I think I have a right to want to talk about it, instead of you grunting your way through it like a caveman," you defended, glaring at the man in front of you.
Hyde was pissed. You always let him off the hook, and the one time you tried to talk about it, he was acting like you were the bad guy.
"I'm not grunting! You're making a big deal out of nothing. This is why guys are better off being single. Girls make everything so complicated," Hyde snapped.
You were shocked he suggested the idea of it, but why should you be? It makes sense, doesn't it? The reason Hyde is a horrible boyfriend is that he doesn't want to be your boyfriend.
"Really? You mean that?" You whispered. "Then let's make it easier for you. We're over."
"Y/n, hold on-"
Before he could say anything else, you grabbed your jacket and rushed out of his house. As you left, you vaguely heard his mom yelling at you both to keep it down because her program was on.
Luckily, she wouldn't have to worry about that anymore.
So I write him all these letters, and I throw them in the trash
'Cause I miss the way he kisses and the way he made me laugh
Yeah, I pour my little heart out, but as I'm hitting "send"
I picture all the faces of my disappointed friends
Because everyone knew all of the shit that he'd do
Two months later, you were still hanging out with the gang.
Strangely enough, you were fine with being around Hyde once you got over it. At least you thought you were. Hyde only tried once to talk to you about breaking up. As quickly as you shot him down, he backed off completely, and you two practically never had conversations longer than short one-liners of insults back at each other.
Despite all the bad, you found yourself mostly remembering the good. The reasons you liked him in the first place: Hyde made you laugh, he was one hell of a kisser, and he knew how to comfort you if you were upset about school or anything else that wasn't about him.
You found comfort in your journaling, writing out your thoughts constantly because if you admitted to Jackie or Donna you missed him at night, then they would surely yell at you.
You were content writing it out. At least you thought you were.
Prom night was coming up, and people were pairing up one by one, leaving you with only two options: go with Fez or someone you barely knew.
Both were not ideal.
You were with the girls at Donna's house as she showed off her cute outfit for Prom.
"These are the shoes I'm wearing to Prom! Aren't they cool?" Donna said, holding up silver low pumps with an excited smile.
"Oh my God, I was gonna get new shoes except Michael didn't ask me," Jackie replied before you could compliment the cute shoes.
Donna looked a little discouraged before turning around and grabbing her dress off the cabinet above the fridge. "You like my Prom dress, right?"
"Of course! It matches your eyes!" You grinned, holding the end of the beautiful blue satin dress.
"I was gonna get a new Prom dress... except Michael didn't ask me," Jackie said with a pouty expression, making you and Donna just awkwardly nod. Luckily, Donna knew how to move the conversation along.
"I'm so nervous about Prom! I think it's gonna be the night that Eric and I... you know?" Donna hinted, making Jackie state, "Oh my Gosh, that's when Michael and I were gonna do it the first time!"
"You and Kelso did it like two months ago, and like thirty times after that!" You groaned out. "Look, why don't you just ask Kelso to go with you if you're so desperate?"
Jackie gasped and looked on the verge of tears. "Okay, first off, it would've been the first time at a Prom! Second off, this is the Prom! This is not the time for your stupid feminist crap!"
The door opened to reveal Eric and Kelso. The door slammed, leading to a usual standoff between Kelso and Jackie. It felt like a wild west showdown.
"Hello, Michael."
"Hello, Jackie."
"I'm just here helping Donna get ready for Prom... because Eric and Donna are going to Prom," Jackie stated, with tears still in her eyes.
"Yes, we are," Eric nodded in agreement, making you roll your eyes at the awkwardness. Kelso chuckled and replied, "I'm going to Prom...". You and Donna looked at him in hope to end the pain of Jackie complaining, while Jackie's eyes widened up until he finished his sentence, "I'm taking Pam Macy."
Donna immediately stood up and bolted out of the room into her living room, to which Eric followed nervously.
"Well, I'm gonna go—" You started heading for the door until Jackie yanked your arm back to sit down at the dining table again.
"Well, I have a date too," Jackie stated in a matter-of-fact tone, making you look at her confused. Why in the hell would she lie about that?
Then Kelso's reaction made everything make sense.
"Who is it? What's his name?" Kelso interrogated, as if he was a detective finding out who the killer is. Jackie was a spoiled brat, but damn did she know how to get a reaction out of Kelso.
"His name is... not important. What's important is he's better than you, in every conceivable way," Jackie smirked, leaning back in her chair all smug.
"Well. Damn, Jackie! That can be anybody!"
I wanna get him back
I wanna make him really jealous, wanna make him feel bad
Jackie's brilliance shone through in her unintentional advice on getting back at Hyde. As for your story, here's the continuation with grammar and punctuation improvements:
That day, you left Donna's house with a passion you had never felt before. You wondered if this is how Hyde felt when he pulled pranks on the boys or did something bad. It felt risky, but also so damn good.
You ended up going to The Hub and found a guy from school, Ethan. You never had a particular interest in Ethan. He was sort of bland but popular at school for being on the basketball team. So why him?
You distinctly remembered that one afternoon when you were dating, Hyde thought the guys who played basketball on the team were stupid for wearing uniforms with shorts.
Plus, Ethan was still somehow available, so it was perfect, right?
Well, that's where you messed up. He was available because he was a creep. He was already hinting at getting you into a hotel room before you could even figure out what time he was picking you up.
As much as you'd love to change your mind, you knew you needed a date. The plan wouldn't work without one, plus Jackie would kill you for going stag. So you went with it.
The night of prom, Ethan showed up at your door with bad intentions in his eyes.
You wore a lovely (f/c) floor-length gown with black heels that fit wonderfully to your figure. Your (h/c) hair was left down and hairsprayed to perfection, and you held a small black purse with your stuff. Long story short, you looked hot. Any idiot would have been able to see that, meaning Hyde would too.
"Well, you look ready to stay in the back seat of my car all night," Ethan badly flirted, making you roll your eyes.
"I'm more interested in going to the prom... you know, the thing I asked you to in the first place?" You hinted while walking to his car.
He moved to open the passenger-side door for you, which was sweet until he ruined it with a, "Well, we will see how you feel after an hour."
This was going to be a long night.
Oh, I wanna get him back
'Cause then again, I really miss him, and it makes me real sad
Oh, I want sweet revenge, and I want him again
I want to get him back, back, back
The Point Place Junior Prom looked adorable with the multi-colored streamers, balloons, and a rocking band, which managed to cheer you up after the lousy ride there. The entire ride, Ethan kept trying to put his hand on your thigh, as if you'd skip the entire prom just for a loud five minutes with him in a crappy motel room.
You attempted to have a fun night, but disappointment was slowly taking over you. It was the end of the night, and everyone was slow dancing. Hyde had been with Jackie, and you doubted he even was looking at you.
Ethan was nonstop insisting all night on leaving, which only continued to bug you more and more.
"Hey, Ethan, can you get me some punch?" You asked, putting a halt to the dance.
"Yeah, fine." Ethan huffed and walked away. You walked over to the table where Jackie was sitting, noticing how sad she looked.
"Hey, Jackie... you look great tonight. That color is great on you," you complimented, realizing you hadn't talked to her all night due to her being with Hyde.
"Thanks... I'm sorry I brought Hyde. I thought it would make Michael jealous, but I don't think he cares about me with Pam Macy around," Jackie admitted, before her sad eyes became soft and hopeful.
You turned to see Kelso behind you, looking down at her with love.
"Jackie."
"Michael."
You smiled at them both before getting up from the table to leave them alone. At least someone's plan worked tonight. You looked around to try and spot Ethan. He was nowhere to be found near the refreshment table, and instead, you spotted Hyde watching you.
Hyde nodded up at you in his silent, "How you doin'?" style. Slowly, you started to walk towards him.
"Hey... how's the punch?" You attempted to joke, making him crack a small smile.
Hyde pulled back his jacket to reveal a small flask. "Better with alcohol. I would ask if you want some, but you barely drank when we were together."
"Well, maybe it's a good thing that was a while ago," you commented, getting some punch and holding out your cup for him to spike it.
Hyde smirked and poured some in for you until you heard someone clear their throat.
You turned to see the one and only, Ms. Kaminski.
"Is that alcohol I see?"
Oh, I wanna key his car, I wanna make him lunch
I wanna break his heart, stitch it right back up
I wanna kiss his face with an uppercut
I wanna meet his mom, and tell her her son sucks
"Dammit, Hyde, I can't believe you got us kicked out of the dance! My date is in there!" You scolded as the double school doors closed behind you both.
Hyde rolled his eyes and attempted to start walking away from you. "Oh yeah, your date. Ethan's a real charmer," Hyde mumbled.
This is what he always did. But you weren't letting him get away that easy. Not like when you were dating. You rushed in front of him and pushed back on his shoulder to make him stop walking.
"For your information, that date was my ride home! Thanks to you, I'm walking home in heels. Which, by the way, are not comfortable!" You snapped.
"Relax, man. I can drive you home. I got Jackie's Lincoln," Hyde groaned. "I thought with the drink maybe you have chilled out a bit—"
"Chill out? Hyde, this was the junior prom! I was excited for the dance, and now it's done! All because I accepted a fucking drink from your... your dumbass!" You yelled before lightly smacking his shoulder, as most of the gang does to each other.
"Screw you, Steven Hyde. Screw your alcohol, and screw your ride! Just screw, screw, screw!"
You don't think you ever said "screw" that much in your entire life. Usually, it's a regular curse word like "fuck," but for some reason, all you could think of was... well, "screw." That's all Hyde ever had done for you. He was the one who screwed everything up. Not just tonight, but your entire past relationship.
As you started walking away down the sidewalk to go home, you instantly started to regret not putting up with your anger for the ride. God, do heeled shoes start to hurt after a short time. You knew you got out what needed to, though. Despite your breakup being so explosive, Hyde and you never talked about it otherwise. Maybe that's just because he hates relationship drama and never brought it up. Or maybe you were just too weak from the pain to ever really confront him about it all.
Regardless, the tension between you two had been brewing for 3 months, and you should have known it would have been released sooner or later.
Your thoughts were interrupted by a car approaching you from the side, and though you tried not to look, you eventually did.
Hyde was slowly driving next to you with the Lincoln, just as he promised earlier. He started rolling down the windows and said, "Y/n, get in."
"No."
"Stop acting tough. I know your feet probably hurt."
You stopped at that statement. You turned towards the window as anger slowly started brewing again.
"Oh yeah? Because you know so much, don't you? You know everrrrrything about me, don't you? Tell me more about how I'm feeling, oh please, Hyde." You growled, turning and starting to walk again.
Hyde jumped out of the Lincoln, slamming the door closed and jumping in front of you.
"You should be grateful, man! Your date was a creep and was grabbing your ass all night!" Hyde snapped. "Now cut the crap, and get in the damn car!"
His words made you freeze before saying, "How would you know he was grabbing my ass?"
"What am I, stupid?! I watched you all night—" He started before realizing what he was saying, "Dammit..."
"You're jealous—"
"No—"
"That I was with someone else." You finished.
"I wasn't jealous. I was just making sure he didn't do anything!" Hyde defended with a sigh.
You slowly moved towards him with a small smile covering your face, "Hyde..."
Hyde took a deep breath, "He's a jerk... And I was a jerk. You don't deserve that, alright? Not again." He mumbled, stepping towards you until you were close to each other's faces.
"You're right. I don't deserve that... so whatever this is right now should stop."
"Yeah... we should stop..."
Your words didn't match your actions. Neither of you backed away. It felt like hours you stood there staring into each other's eyes, when in reality it was only a minute.
"But what if we didn't?" Hyde whispered, gently reaching up to move your (h/c) hair out of your (s/c) face as a soft wind casted.
"Hyde—"
"I messed up. I know I did, alright? I suck and took you for granted. Can you forgive me?" Hyde pleaded, holding onto your face now with both of his hands.
You hesitated, knowing how everyone in the gang would feel. They would say you're stupid for taking him back. The amount of burns would be endless in the basement.
The fear of him hurting you again was strong... but damn, the temptation was stronger.
"You promise not to look at other girls? To go on dates with me like I want? To stop being late?" You whispered.
Hyde nodded quickly, "I promise—"
You cut him off, pressing your lips against his. Hyde wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you as close as possible yet it still didn't feel close enough.
The taste of alcohol mixed with crappy high school dance punch never tasted better than on his lips and tongue. It sent fireworks throughout your body, knowing he was yours again. And it was gonna stay that way.
Thank you all for being so so kind and patient w my inconsistent ass 😂 I genuinely love all of y’all!!
✨✨
You sighed, placing the test face down on the counter. Music playing from your phone to try and ease your nerves. Snooze by SZA playing low as you slipped down the wall. You pulled your knees to your chest as you allowed the song to play through, your brain running the entire time.
The jokes you made to your boyfriend, Fez, were just that. Jokes. In no way did you actually think you were ready for children. You had just graduated from East Highland less than a week ago.
Your childhood wasn’t the most pleasant. You had been living with your boyfriend since you two were 13 and 14. Fez was all you knew, and you were all he knew. You knew everything about him and his life. His grandma, his job, his brother. And you fit like a glove in all of it. His grandmother took you in with open arms and loved you as her own.
You didn’t know what you’d do with a baby, you didn’t know where it would fit into your current life. You worked at the local breakfast place, it was like a Waffle House, but called MeeMaw Judy’s Home.
Your mind drifted to Fez. He didn’t want kids. You knew for a fact because he always told you “keep it movin’ ma”, everytime you passed baby aisles. Hell, the two of you even had talked about it last night. As far as Fezco was concerned, he didn’t see a baby in y’all’s plans for at least another 4 years.
The song ended and you took a deep breath. You couldn’t begin to explain how long those 3 minutes were. “Alright.” You whispered to yourself as you stood up, turning over the test you stared at them. Two pink lines. You’re not even sure you’ve ever seen pink lines so dark.
“Fuck.” You whispered as you placed the test on the counter. “Fuck, fuck, fuck…” you said, voice cracking at the last fuck, tears welling in your eyes. You had false positives before, only for the next test to have been negative. But this time you knew you were pregnant. Nausea, fatigue, as well as paired with your period being late not one, but two weeks? Oh yea, your eggo is preggo.
Your thoughts ran to a complete halt as the door opened. “(Y/N)! Can you make waffles… what the fuck is all of this?” Ash asked, looking at the test on the counter. Your heart sank as you tried to explain. “Look, I just… just please get out. Please.” You pleaded, trying to push him out. “Hey, it’s ok. Stop stressin’. Y’a’int in trouble. Just… y’know. Take a deep breath.”
Ash grabbed your hand, thumb rubbing over your knuckles, a trait he picked up from Fez after he noticed it helped you calm down. “Ash, please. I need to think of how to tell Fez.” Ash shook his head before leading you to sit on the couch. “Worry about calmin’ your ass down first. You’re acting like your life is over. It’s just a baby.” Ash let go of your hand.
You felt yourself relax a little. How was he so calm? How is your life not over? Taking another look at the test, you grabbed it. “This wasn’t supposed to happen this way.” You walked out of the bathroom to the living room.
You sat on the couch and let go of the breath you were holding. “Why’re you so freaked out?” Ash asked, taking a seat next to you.
“Ash, you’re 14. I really don’t think any of this is your business. You’re too young.” You said, placing the test face down on the table.
“(Name).” Ash said plainly, looking at you.
“Okay. Fair.” You nodded, before taking a deep breath. You’re really about to vent to your boyfriend’s 14 year old brother? Well, it wouldn't be the first time. Ash looked at you as a mother figure, seeing as his only real one was incapacitated.
“Fez doesn’t want kids. Not now at least.” You
“Well, ya should’ve been safer, huh?” He crossed his arms. “What’s the plan (Y/N)?” Ash asked you, leaning back into the couch.
“I don’t know. Haven’t thought that far ahead. A minute ago I found out I’m…” The words got caught in your throat as you leaned onto the couch as well. “You think MeeMaw’ll let me bring a kid to work?” You half joked.
“I’ve seen what she allows, it wouldn’t surprise me.” Ash said, a small smile finding itself on his rather stoic face.
Mrs. Judy, or MeeMaw as you and everyone called her, was a kinder old lady. Standing at a firm 4’10 inches, she’s seen a thing or two. She was always kind to you, making sure you had food to bring home to the boys. She knew your upbringing and the conditions that landed you to who you became.
“When’s Fez supposed to come home anyways?” You asked Ash. “Not sure. He’s sellin’ at some kid’s party tonight. What’s her name, Kat, I think?” He shrugged. “He probably won’t be home until midnight then,” you sighed, rubbing your face, “gives me at least 2 hours to think about what I’m gonna do.”
“I got somethin’ you can do then.”
“Waffles?” You half-laughed, looking at Ash through your fingers. “I think we need to buy eggs and milk for it actually.”
“Damn.” He placed his arms next to his sides. “We can watch a movie?” You suggested. “I got Maddy’s Netflix.” You shrugged.
“Better than waitin’ around for nothin’.” Ash grabbed the remote and handed it to you.
Turning on a movie on Netflix, some random movie by Adam Sandler, who’s movies were yours and Ash’s favorite way to pass time.
He quickly tuned into it, but your eyes glued onto the white slender test. Millions of thoughts ran through your mind.
Was Fez gonna be mad?
Was he gonna leave? Or more so, make you leave?
Was he gonna tell you it’s ok?
Was he gonna marry you? God, what a thought. Marriage wasn’t a bad thing, by no means. When it works.
By 12, your mother had been married 6 times, and two of them were remarriages to your father. Screaming, crashing and crying was no stranger to you.
You remember the argument your parents had that led them to that final divorce and you into Fez’s home.
“(Mother Name)! What’s this shit? You’re pregnant? Again?!”
“I was gonna tell you! You went snooping through the trash? Are you fucking insane?!” CRASH, you heard as the test that was thrown at the picture frame that had a picture of you holding your half-brother. You sniffed the tears back as you packed your bag faster.
“You should’ve wrapped it if you didn’t want this shit!” She screamed at him. “Fuck that! You’re just as much to blame! Is it even mine, whore?!”
“Oh fuck you, you bastard!”
“No thank you! That’s how we landed here! Just go! Go and fucking take your goddamn mistakes with you!”
Mistake? That’s all your father thought of you?
“You act like I wanted to get pregnant again, or any time beforehand! I didn’t want these fucking kids anymore than you or Jerald and Will did! Besides, (Name) is the only one here!”
Nevermind, there was your mother being the way she was. You looked at the broken glass on the floor as you stood in the doorframe.
“I’m not going with her.” You stated, in your broken little voice. “You’re not fucking staying with me.”
“I wasn’t fucking planning on it.” You walked past your father. “The fuck are you going?” Your mother asked.
“Why do you care?” You grabbed the doorknob, the rest of your body turning to look at your parents. “I’m a mistake to both of you, so why is it such a big fucking deal if I just grant you both your wish of getting out of your hair?” You asked them, tears free-flowing down your cheeks.
“Why the hell did you have kids if you hate them?” You asked them. “Why do I have to be an adult when I’m 13?”
Your parents stared at you, expression unrecognizable. “Well, just so you know, I hate you guys. So don’t worry, the feelings aren’t one sided.” You opened the door and walked out, closing it behind you.
You used your finger to wipe the tear that began to slip down your cheek. You haven’t seen your parents since that day, hell, you don’t even know if they’re alive or dead. You sent a graduation invitation to the house your mother lived at, but received the initiation back with RETURN TO SENDER in red letters over your face.
You looked over at Ash, who was fast asleep with his head on your lap. You smiled a little at him, and your gaze returned to the test.
Your phone began ringing from the bathroom and you gently placed Ash’s head on the couch. He curled up in a ball as he got re-comfortable. You walked to the bathroom and grabbed your phone.
Answering the call, you placed the phone to your ear. “Hey ma.” Fez’s voice sounded like honey over the phone. “Hey baby.” You said, holding the phone to your ear with your shoulder as you threw the box in the trash. “Ash ‘sleep?” He asked.
“Mhm.” You answered, walking back to the living room to grab the test.
“You good?” He asked into the phone as you heard his blinker. “Yea… no. I just… we gotta talk when you get home.” You answered, walking to the front door. “I’ll just meet you at the car so we can talk without waking up Ash.” You told him, hanging the phone up.
You walked to the front of the house and leaned against the gate. You put the test in your bra as you waited.
Your breath got caught in your throat as you watched the bright lights pull in front of you. Putting your head down you walked over to the passenger seat and got in.
“What’s wrong?” He looked at you, his hand moving to hold your face. His hand rested on your cheek as he made you look at him. “Whatever it is, ma, it’s gonna be aight.” He said, thumb stroking the soft flesh of your cheek.
Your lip quivered as you let go of the breath you were holding. “I’m pregnant, Fez.” You said straight out, taking the test out of your bra to hand to him, eyes drifting to the floor.
“Oh.” His hand leaves your cheek to grab the test, turning on an overhead light, he looks at it. “I’m sorry.” You sniffed, eyes welling with tears as you stared at your feet on the floorboard.
“Whatchu sorry for? This ain’t bad news. I thought you was finna tell me someone died.” He looked at you. “It ain’t like we knew it was gonna happen. Shit happens, ma. We’ll figure it out, somehow. Hell, grandma did.”
“You’re not mad?” You asked him. “I’m not thrilled. But that part ain’t important no more.” He took your face in his hands, test between his fingers. “You’re what’s important to me, ma. Without you, I don’t know where I’d be.” He kissed you softly. “We’re gonna have a baby. I’ve heard of worse news from you.” He said against your lips.
“I was scared you’d yell at me.” You confessed.
“Yell?” He pulled away from you. “Not about somethin’ like this.” He shook his head. “We got other shit to worry about rather than yellin’. Yellin’ ain’t gon’ get anything done other than stress my babies out.” He said simply.
“I got milk and eggs. Ash texted me.” He said.
“I guess I ain’t getting out of making them waffles, huh?”
“You figured you know better about that.” Fez half joked, grabbing the milk and eggs bag from the backseat.
“Now come on, I’m tired. It’s been a long night. We can talk more in the morning.” You patted his thigh and kissed his cheek.
He laughed a little and nodded his head. “Alright ma.”
Chapter two: All Falls Down —✿
Series masterlist
Chapter Warnings: mentions of drugs, mentions of pregnancy, cursing, angst
Authors note: this is actually the first chapter of this book I ever wrote so I hope you all enjoy!
—✿
NOELLE HAD BEEN CLOSE TO FEZCO SINCE AROUND THE SAME TIME WE STARTED HIGH SCHOOL.
She had met him through me; he was doing a deal at a party someone was throwing and she just happened to meet him. Fezco didn’t have parents, sometimes Noelle wished she didn’t. Her parent were always too busy with each other, or work, or the affairs they were having. If she was being honest, the only thing she really knew about her parents were their names.
But ever since they met Fezco felt a protectiveness over her. Like a big brother sort of speak. She would always stay at his house, they would get high and talk about things. And then she’d stay over. The cycle continued for all of high school to the point where Fezco started to consider the girl one of his roommates.
So when Nate showed up at Fezco’s house looking for Noelle, it’s safe to say Fezco wasn’t at all pleased to see him.
—✿
“Yo playboy, I won’t hesitate to beat your ass again.” Fezco said angrily, opening the door to his house to see Nate Jacobs standing outside.
“I’m not here to fight, I just wanna see her.” He said, sighing as he looked around to see if Noelle was here.
“She ain’t here right now.” Fezco lied, earning an eye roll.
“I know you’re lying, her cars out front.”
“Well she don’t wanna see you.”
Nate sighed, shaking his head as his eyes softened, something Fezco had never seen before.
“Fezco…please. I have to.”
Fez sighed, moving to the side to let Nate in as he smiled happily.
“Come on in. Touch anything and I’ll punch you. Take anything, and I’ll punch you again. Piss off my girl, well, I think we both know what’ll happen.” Fezco threatened, before calling Noelle to come and meet Nate in the living room.
“What do you want Nate?” She asked, already annoyed with his presence.
“Well, how did it go?”
“How did what go?”
“The appointment. For, you know what.” Nate said, gesturing to her stomach as he gulped.
“Fezco knows Nate, you don’t have to whisper.” She said, making him nod.
“I know just, being careful.”
“You’ll be happy to know that I didn’t abort it.”
His eyes lit up.
“You didn’t? Really?” He asked happily, smiling slightly.
“Yeah, really.” She sighed, shaking her head. “But it doesn’t matter cause I’m giving it away. I already found a family outside of town who’ll take the baby, I just have to meet them.”
“You can’t give up our baby.” He replied quickly, trying to grab her hand but she pulled away.
“It’s not our baby Nate. It never was our anything!”
“I don’t want you too!”
“I’m really not about to argue with you over this.”
“Can I atleast come to your appointments.”
“Nate…” she said with a sigh, but he just huffed in response.
“It’s my kid too.” He said angrily, his fists clenched at the idea.
“Fine. One appointment. But if you pull any bullshit it’ll be the last you hear from me.”
“Deal.”
That one appointment ended up being the downfall of Noelle Fitzpatrick.
—✿
“You were late, no shit they didn’t let you in!” Noelle yelled, walking through the hallways of the school as she tried to get away from him.
“Well I didn’t mean to be.” He argued, only edging her on more.
“Nate, you where 30 minutes late. You showed up as I left! I can’t believe I thought you were being genuine for once.” She said, laughing to herself as she shook her head.
“You know I care about you and, our baby.”
“It’s whatever, Nate. And be quiet. I don’t want it to be a thing.”
—✿
Little did she know, Maddy had heard the whole thing. She wasn’t particularly pleased with Ellie’s choice of baby daddy. Maddy told Cassie, Cassie told Kat, who told some rando’s in her science class, who told their friends, who told others….and by the end of the day, the entire school knew that Noelle was pregnant with Nate’s baby, and it didn’t even take full school day.
—✿
“Who did you tell?” Noelle snapped, slamming Nate’s locker shut angrily as she stood in front of him.
“What?” He asked, looking at her as if she were crazy.
“Don’t play with me Nate, who did you tell?”
“Noah what are you talking about?”
“I’m not fucking dumb Nate! The only people I told was Fezco and there’s no way he told so who did you tell!” She shouted, getting closer to him as she pointed a finger hard on his chest, frustrated tears now streaming down her cheeks.
“What are you talking about?! Why are you so angry?”
“Because the whole school knows I’m pregnant with your bastard child Nate!”
“I-I didn’t tell anyone.” He stuttered, making her shake her head angrily.
“Stop fucking with me Nate! My life is over because your dumb girlfriend told the whole school about this! I-I’m over.”
“Dont be dramatic…” he scoffed, she sniffled. He swore his head never snapped up so quickly.
“They could kick me out of school Nate. I-I can’t, I can’t imagine what else.”
“They won’t, I won’t let them.”
“There’s nothing you can do about that!”
“They we’re gonna find out anyway.”
“On my own terms. When I was ready to deal with this, not now.”
“I doubt everyone knows…”
“Hey baby mama! The pregnancy weights looking good!” Some Rando teased, making her raise an angry eyebrow at Nate.
I’ve been friends with Noelle since 8th grade now. I knew how people used her, because she had that quality to her where she’d do anything for the people she cared about. When her and Nate started dating she was always with him. He loved her, really, she loved him too. She never told me why they broke up, or when, I found out later that night when I saw Maddy’s post with Nate on her Instagram. I didn’t know if Noelle didn’t tell me because she missed Nate, or because she didn’t want me to think worse of him then I already had. That’s the thing with Noelle, you could try to kill her, and she would keep it a secret to give you the benefit of the doubt.
It really wasn’t fair. She gave everyone the world, and no one gave her crap. But she did this thing when she was sad, or dreadful, or scared. That facial expression that could even break Nate Jacobs' heart.
“Noah…”
She didn’t answer. Just slung her bag over her shoulder before running down the hallway.
The motivation came back today as I put on That 70's Show and it feels soooo good! I'm probably going to let out a few more chapters at most because this story has gotten a lot longer than it was supposed to. But I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think <3
Y/n was panting and struggling to breathe properly as the contractions came on.
“Oh, my God. What should we do?” Jackie asked, almost panicking.
“We need to get her to the hospital!” Markus cried out and turned towards the stairs, suspecting that’s where Kitty or Red may be. “Mr. and Mrs. Forman?! We could really use your help!” A beat passed and he turned to his girlfriend. “Go find one of them. Now. And tell them Y/n is in labor.”
Jackie nodded and ran into the kitchen, calling for Kitty and Red.
Markus whipped back to Y/n who was struggling to breathe from the pain. “Y/n, breathe. It’s going to be okay.”
“I…want…Steven!” Y/n panted as she could barley form words.
“Here, hold on to my han—AAHHH!” Markus screamed as Y/n crushed his hand with hers. “Thank God we’re going to the hospital, right?” He chuckled through the pain. “Jackie! Where are you?!”
“Here!” she called, walking out from the kitchen with Kitty in tow.
“Y/n, honey, what’s going on?” Kitty asked, concerned.
“Her water broke and the contractions are already starting,” Markus explained as calmly as he could.
“Oh, my God, the babies are coming—Red!” Kitty called excitedly. “It’s time!”
“What?” Red asked as he stomped down the stairs, annoyed. “What are you yelling—Y/n, are you okay?”
“Red, she’s in labor!” Kitty explained. “Everyone, get in the car!”
“I’ll stay here and call Steven,” Jackie offered.
“Number to the venue is on the—” Y/n was cut off as another contraction hit her. “Counter,” she strained.
“No, no, no you’re not staying here with your boyfriend,” Red said. “I barley trust you kids in my house when my kids are home; I definitely don’t trust you by yourselves.”
“Don’t worry, Mr. Forman. I’m not staying. I’m going to go to the venue and see if I can catch them,” Markus said.
“How do I know you’re not just saying that?” Red asked, skeptically.
At that moment, Y/n led out a frustrated and pained scream. “Can we finish this conversation later?!”
“She’s right. Let’s go, Red,” Kitty said, grabbing Y/n’s arm and gently guided her out the door.
“I’ll go call Steven. Markus, go to the venue,” Jackie ordered.
“Aye, aye, Captain Hottie,” he smirked before grabbing his keys and walked out.
                                                        ---
“Okay, Y/n breathe,” Kitty instructed as Red drove like a madman to the hospital.
Y/n was doing deep breaths to try and steady the pain. “This is a big one!”
“I know, but you can do it!” Kitty encouraged.
“Is Steven going to make it?” she asked through breaths.
“Oh, I’m sure he is,” Kitty assured. “Jackie is on it. Remember what she did at the wedding?”
Y/n nodded as the pain finally started to subside. “Yeah, she was awesome.” A beat passed before she spoke up again. “Don’t tell her I said that.” Pulsating pain came on as her stomach felt rock hard. “Here comes another one.”
“We’re almost there, honey,” Kitty said, rubbing her shoulder. “Red, step on it!”
                                               Meanwhile…
Loud rock music filled the air at the venue as the group jammed out from the crowd.
“This is the greatest day of my life!” Kelso shouted at his friends.
“Agreed!” Donna replied as Immigrant Song started.
“Hell yeah!” Eric whooped as he lit up a lighter.
“Play that funky music white boys!” Fez shouted excitedly.
Everyone was having the greatest time, except for Hyde. He would occasionally whoop and holler, but the thought of Y/n being home while he was out having fun didn't sit right with him. It wasn’t until the song ended and the band moved onto the next that he nudged Fez, getting his attention.
“Hey, man, I’ll be right back.”
“Sure!” Fez said, barley paying attention.
Hyde rolled his eyes at his friend before leaving the arena and walking to the recession stand.
“Hi, how can I help you?” the young blonde woman asked as he approached her.
“Can I use your phone?”
“Absolutely,” she chirped and brought the phone out from beside the register. “Just dial 9 first.”
“Thanks,” he muttered and dialed the house number. It rang three times before someone picked up.
“Hello? Steven?”
“Jackie?” Hyde asked, scrunching his face. “What’re you doing at the house? Where’s Y/n?”
“Markus and I came over to be with Y/n to keep her company while you guys were gone,” she explained.
“Oh. Well, where is she? I want to talk to her.”
“Yeah…sorry, you can’t.”
“What? Why?”
“Because she isn’t here,” she replied.
Steven sighed, starting to feel irritated. “Where is she then?”
“At the hospital.”
“What?!” he almost yelled. “Why didn’t you lead with that? Is she in labor?!”
“Yes, she’s on the way. I stayed behind in case you called. If you leave now you might be able to meet her there.”
The phone almost slipped out his hand. “Oh, my God…”
“Steven…are you okay?”
“I’m on my way. Tell her to try to not have the babies until I get there!” He hung up the phone before she could answer and ran back into the arena where his friends were.
“Hey, man, where’d you go?” Eric asked while keeping his eye on the band.
“Y/n’s in labor!” Steven shouted.
Eric snapped his head towards his friend with wide eyes. “WHAT?!”
“Yeah, man, we gotta go!”
“Yeah, okay,” Eric said, nodding frantically and turned to Donna. “We gotta go!”
“What? Why?” she asked, smiling and hooting.
“Because Y/n is in labor!”
Her smile quickly disappeared as her attention snapped from the band to her boyfriend and friend. “WHAT?!”
“We’ve gotta go! She’s on her way to the hospital right now!” Hyde said.
“Right, okay,” Donna said, almost in a panic and turned to the boys. “Guys, Y/n’s in labor!”
“What?” Kelso shouted back. “Y/n’s the neighbor?”
“No, you dunce! Y/n’s in labor!” she repeated.
“Y/n’s the greater?” Kelso asked, even more confused. “Speak English, Donna, you’re not making any sense.”
“Y/N IS IN LABOR, YOU FOOL!” Fez screamed.
“Oh, my God!” Kelso shouted.
“Yeah, so we need to go,” Donna responded and grabbed him by the elbow.
“Wait, we’re all gonna go?” he questioned and dug his heels into the ground. “What about the concert?”
“Forget the concert, man, my wife is in labor!”
“Why? She’s not my wife,” Kelso argued.
Hyde’s jaw clenched and his fists balled up, dying to hit Kelso. “You know what? I don’t have time for this. If you want to stay, fine, but I’m leaving your ass here and you can find a ride home.”
Kelso laughed. “You’re not going to do that.”
“You wanna bet?”
“But they’re in the middle of a song!” he whined.
“You wanna walk home?” Hyde threatened.
Kelso groaned before stomping his foot. “Fine!”
                                                        ∞∞∞
“Alright, Mrs. Hyde,” Dr. Lee said, pulling back the privacy curtain as Y/n laid in the hospital bed. “You’re dilated two centimeters. Now this is your first childbirth so you could be here a while. We’ll keep monitoring you.”
“Thank you, Doctor,” Y/n said. “Can I have something to drink?”
“Just ice chips,” the doctor said with a sympathetic smile.
“Okay,” she sighed, disappointed.
“I’ll be back in a little while to check on you,” she said and exited the room.
“Well, this could take a while,” Kitty said and started fluffing Y/n’s pillow. “Did you want some ice chips?”
“That would be nice,” Y/n responded. “Thank you.”
“Of course. Red stay here with her while I go get her ice chips.”
“Where else am I gonna go?” Red asked with a shrug of his shoulders. Once Kitty left the room, it was silent.
“So,” Red said, breaking the silence and sighed awkwardly. “Do the contractions really hurt as much as they say?”
Y/n stared up at her father with a confused and bewildered look. “I don’t know. Have someone kick your boys multiple times and harder each time and then come back and tell me.”
Red couldn’t help but chuckle. After another minute of silence, Y/n spoke up.
“Dad?”
“Mhm?”
“Were you scared when Mom went into labor?”
A small smile graced his lips and he nodded. “Yeah, I was. But let me tell you the moment I held you and your brother in my arms, that fear melted away.”
“So, the minute I hold my children, my fears are going to melt away forever?”
“Oh, hell no,” Red chuckled, shaking his head. “The fear never goes away. Everyday a new fear will strike in you and you’re going to have to find some way to battle that one among the others. It’s a never ending cycle.”
“Oh my God…how do you sleep at night?”
“I just close my eyes,” he quips and rocks on his heels. “But your mother…not so much. She worries for you guys constantly.”
Y/n looked down at her hands. “I didn’t know that.”
“Of course you didn’t. The last thing she wants is to make you guys worry because all she wants is for you to worry about yourselves.”
“But that’s not how that works,” she argued. “We’re a family we do that for each other.”
“Not in a parent’s eyes,” he responded cooly and started heading out the door. “I’m going to call your idiot brother and see if he’s at the house.”
Y/n nodded at him as he walked out the door. As soon as the door clicked shut, another contraction shot through her, catching her breath in her throat. She breathed through the pain, and what felt like minutes but only seconds, it subsided as soon as Kitty walked back through the door.
“Here you go, dear,” Kitty said.
“Thanks, Mom,” Y/n replied breathlessly as her head fell back against the pillow.
                                                --Meanwhile--
“Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, COME ON!” Hyde shouted as he dodged traffic and weaved through traffic like a madman.
“Hyde, slow down!” Eric tried to hide his panic as he white knuckled the door handle and middle console. “I know we’re going to the hospital anyway, but let’s try to get there alive!”
“Have you guys ever noticed people in this town drive so damn SLOW?!” He honked his horn impatiently. “Move over, Grandma!”
“Hyde, please, I don’t want to die,” Fez whined from the back as he clutched the back door and Kelso’s arm.
“Shut up, Fez,” Hyde snapped as he desperately hit the gas more. “DAMN IT!” he shouted when he hit a red light.
“Hyde, man, it’s alright. You’re going to make it in time,” Eric said, trying to calm him down.
“No, Forman, it’s not going to be alright if I’m not there!” he raised his voice and punched the gas as soon as the light turned green.
“Don’t worry, you’re going to make it,” Donna said.
“No, you guys don’t get it,” Hyde replied, forcing himself to stay calm. “My dad wasn’t there when I was born and I’ll be damned if I do the same to my kids.”
“You’re not your dad, man…” Kelso said quietly.
“You’re right I’m not,” Hyde responded, staring intently at the road. “I’m going to be better.”
“And you are, but you need to—RED LIGHT!” Eric shouted as Hyde sped through.
“Relax, it’s not like we hit anybody,” Hyde said, hard gaze on the road.
“Um, Hyde?” Fez piped up, looking out the back window nervously.
“You’re going to kill us!” Eric screeched.
“No, I’m not!”
“Hyde?” Fez said again, this time a little louder.
“It’s going to be no use if we don’t make it alive!” Eric shouted.
“Will you lay off?!” Hyde shouted back, white knuckling the steering wheel. “We’re going to be fine.”
“HYDE!” Fez shouted sharply.
“What?!” Hyde snapped.
“Um…” he responded by pointing out the back window.
Hyde followed his line of sight and saw blue and red flashing behind them. “Crap.”
                                                --Time Skip—
Y/n was doing deep breathing exercises as another contraction waved through her. At this point, sweat had formed on her hairline while her hair had been pulled back into a messy ponytail by Kitty.
The pain radiated through her back down to her legs as she felt like daggers were racing through her bloodstream.
“Just keep breathing, honey, you’re doing great!” Kitty encouraged as Y/n struggled to keep breathing. She held her daughter’s hand as Y/n squeezed it through the pain.
“It...hurts…!” she whined as she breathed through the pain.
“I know, honey, but it’s going to be so worth it when you get to hold your babies for the first time,” Kitty cooed.
Finally, the contraction ended and Y/n laid her head back in exhaustion, panting. “Has anyone heard from Steven?”
“When I called the house, your little loud friend answered and said she had spoken to him and he was on the way,” Red answered and checked his watch. “But then again, that was almost two and half hours ago.”
“The concert was only forty-five minutes away,” Y/n pointed out. “An hour and a half at most with traffic.” She was silent for a moment, fighting back tears. “I knew he cared more about the stupid concert than me.”
“Oh, honey, you know that’s not true,” Kitty said, rubbing her daughter’s covered leg in comfort.
“No, it is, otherwise he would be here!” she wailed, tears running down her face. “I’m about to push two babies out of me and he’s not here! I’ve never been in so much pain in my entire life and I just want my husband!”
“I know, sweetie, I know, but he’ll be here,” Kitty reassured and walked over to her husband. “Can I talk to you outside?”
“About what?” he asked.
“Just get outside,” she responded and pushed him out. After she shut the door, she turned back to him. “You need to find him.”
“Why? I’m sure he’s on the way,” Red said casually and walked over to the nearest coffee station.
“The last time a big event happened, Steven almost didn’t make it!” she said harshly. “He was in jail, Red, jail!”
“What do you want me to do about it?”
“Go back to the house and find him!”
“Kitty, if he’s not here, he’s not going to be at the house,” he pointed out, pouring himself a cup of coffee.
“What if he stopped by the house?”
“Now, why would he do that?”
“I don’t know, why did the boy go to a concert when he knows his wife’s about to pop? We’ll never know why the kids do what they do, but what I know for sure is that something is wrong!”
“Oh, Kitty, come on!” Red whined. “I’m sure Steven is fine. He’s probably stuck in traffic or something.”
                                       --Scene Transition—
“Officer, I’m telling you, I’m not drunk!” Hyde yelled.
The scene in front of him would’ve been quite comedic if he hadn’t been the one in the position. He was leaned forward on the hood with his hands splayed out and legs spread as he was being searched.
“With the way you were driving, I beg to differ,” the officer replied as he carefully searched Hyde.
“The breathalyzer said I wasn’t!” he argued. “Why are you still searching me? I need to get to the hospital! My wife is in labor!”
“Yeah, I haven’t heard that one before,” the cop scoffed as he stood.
“Man, I’m serious! If you follow me, I’ll show you I’m telling the truth!”
“I’m not falling for that one again.”
“What? No, man, I’m serious!”
“You know everything you say can and will be held against you in the court of law,” the officer said.
“Okay, well then get this on record: I. NEED. TO. GET. TO. MY. WIFE. She is in labor and I really need to be there!”
“Shut up or else I will arrest you.”
Steven sighed, frustrated. “For God’s sake.”
While this was happening, the rest of the crew sat silently and rigid in the car. They felt with one wrong move, they would be arrested.
“Do you think he’s going to be let go?” Fez asked.
“If he shuts up and lets the man do his job, the maybe,” Kelso said.
“Hey, wait, you used to be a cop,” Eric pointed out. “Can’t you do something?”
“I doubt it,” Kelso responded, not taking his eyes off the cop. “As long as Hyde shuts up, he should be fine.”
“I hope you’re right. It would be awful if he missed the birth of his children like how he almost his own wedding,” Donna said, staring at Hyde as he stood still as a statue.
“Yeah, that would be,” Kelso mumbled.
Meanwhile outside, Hyde was ready to jump out of skin as he waited for the cop to finish up the report. The cop purposely was taking his time which made Hyde want to twist his neck even more.
“Can I go now?” he asked.
“I need to still check the car.”
“You checked it twice!”
“Once more never killed anybody.”
“Come on!” Hyde shouted as he watched the cop reach into the glove compartment to grab some gloves. “I’ve done everything you asked and you’re still going to hold me here? What more do you want?”
“I just love watching people like you squirm,” the cop said smugly as he snapped on the latex gloves.
“People like me? Man, I’m telling the truth!” Hyde shouted. “I’m not drunk and I’m not high! There’s nothing in my car! I don’t know what the hell you’re looking for, but you’re not going to find it!”
The cop smirked. “We’ll see about that.”
A car rumbled by across the street before it stopped and parked. Steven eyed the cop as he watched him kick his friends out and search the car again.
“Steven?!”
Hyde’s head snapped to the sound of his name and watched as Red crossed the street towards him.
“Red?” Hyde called out. “What’re you doing here?”
“What am I doing here? What are you doing here?!” Red asked, now feeling frustrated. “Do you know Kitty made me leave the hospital to drive back home to find you, only to find out that you’ve been pulled over the side of the road?!” He stood directly in front of Steven as he also watched the cop search the car. “Why were you pulled over this time?”
“Speeding.”
“And he’s searching the car because...?”
“He’s sure I’m under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”
Red pinched his eyebrows together and looked at Steven. “Were you breathalyzed?”
“Yes.”
“And searched?”
“Three times.”
“You don’t got that dope on you, do you?”
Steven rubbed his forehead, trying to control his irritation. “No.”
“Then why are you still here?!”
“That’s a good question. Ask the man in blue.”
Without hesitation, Red darted towards the police officer. “Hey, buddy! What the hell are you doing?!”
“Sir, I’m going to need you to back up while I conduct my search—”
“To hell with your damn search!” Red yelled. “You found nothing, now let him go! His wife, my daughter, is at the hospital about to give birth!”
“Oh, now he’s got you covering him?” the cops asked smugly. “I’m not buying it and this can be held against you—”
“Do I need to call Chief Calvin?” Red interrupted with fire in his eyes. “Do I need to tell him that you are looking to book my son-in-law?”
“How do you know—?”
“I’ve got
“You can if you want,” the cop said. “I’m just doing my job.”
“No, you’re not. You’re being a prick who is on a power trip. I’ll tell you what, you give him the speeding ticket and I won’t report your ass to the chief for trying to find false evidence.”
An annoyed, angry look crossed over the officer’s face before he snapped off his gloves. “Fine.”
“Thank you, officer,” Red said sickly sweet.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” he mumbled as he walked back to the cop car.
Once the officer was out of earshot, Hyde turned to Red. “You really know that Chief like that?”
“Please,” he scoffed. “I had you and my son to deal with. You didn’t think I wasn’t going to get to be on a first name basis with the P.D?”
                                             --Meanwhile—
“WHERE. IS. HE?!” Y/n screamed through contractions.
“I don’t know, sweetie. Your dad is out looking for him,” Kitty responded, wiping away sweat off her daughter’s forehead.
This caused Y/n to scream out more in frustration than in pain when another contraction hit. “SON OF A BITCH!”
A knock on the door barley made their attention when Dr. Lee popped in. “How are we doing?”
“I need drugs!” Y/n screamed.
“Let me see how dilated you are,” Dr. Lee responded and popped on some gloves. After she felt around, she came up from between Y/n’s legs and sighed contently. “4 centimeters—looks like you’re dilated enough.”
“Oh, thank God,” Y/n sighed and leaned her head back.
“You know, you do qualify for this new drug we have. It’s called an epidural anesthesia. It’s going to numb you from the waist down and you won’t be able to feel anything.”
“Do it.”
“You don’t want to hear the possible side--"
"Damn it, woman, do it!" Y/n cried out in discomfort. “It feels like these kids are going to rip me in half!”
Dr. Lee chuckled before nodding. “I’ll be right back with the anesthesiologist.”
“Wow, fancy,” Kitty said, impressed. “When I gave birth to all three of you, I didn’t get that special treatment.”
“Times have changed, Mom,” Y/n responded dully.
“Excuse me, miss grumpy pants,” Kitty sassed as she situated herself in the chair next to the bed.
“Sorry,” Y/n mumbled and stared at the ceiling in silence.
“He’ll make it,” Kitty said after a minute.
“I appreciate the sentiment, but I don’t know right now. He was arrested and almost didn’t make it to our wedding, so I’m not sure if he’ll make it here on time to witness the birth of his children.”
“Oh, Dear, that’s just the hormones talking. I know Steven is just anxious to be here.”
                                          --Meanwhile—
“For the love of GOD, people, move your asses!” Hyde yelled at the traffic ahead of him. “Why is it even this crowded? Where are all these people coming from?!”
“Um, probably from the concert,” Donna piped up.
“The whole town went to the concert?!”
“I mean, we’re not the only ones who listen to them, but whatever,” Eric mumbled.
Hyde ignored them as another growl bubbled up from his throat as traffic began to slow down again. “Friggin’ slow asses, move!” He honked his horn and swerved in the other lane to pass someone.
“That was a student driver,” Eric said.
“Yeah, and I felt the same way when I passed that old lady earlier—nothing,” Hyde retorted as he got off the highway. “Doesn’t matter anyway, we’re almost there.”
“Pretty sure at this rate we’ll be there in five minutes instead of twenty,” Fez said nervously, gripping the door handle with white knuckles.
“Yeah, I think I felt safer when we were pulled over,” Kelso said and quickly averted Hyde’s icy glare through the rearview mirror. “I’ll shut up now.”
“Good plan,” Hyde responded. “Now, hang onto your asses. This is going to be a fast ride.”
                                           --At the hospital—
“Hey, Mom, look,” Y/n said, calm and happy and pointed at the machine that was monitoring her contractions. “I’m having a contraction. Who knew?”
“Are you feeling better now that you got the epidural?” Kitty asked, relieved to see her daughter out of pain.
Y/n giggled. “It’s almost like—childbirth, who? Pushing out two babies, say what?”
Kitty smiled. “Glad to hear it, dear.”
“Alright, Mrs. Hyde, after checking your dilation, it looks like you’re now at eight centimeters,” Dr. Lee informed.
“Whoa, man, I’m so numb I didn’t even feel you down there,” Y/n chuckled.
“Y/n, honey, did you hear the doctor?” Kitty asked, grabbing her daughter’s hand. “You’re eight centimeters. There’s only two centimeters left until you need to start pushing.”
Y/n’s eyes bugged out at the sudden realization. “What?! But-but Steven isn’t here yet!”
“Unfortunately, that doesn’t matter to babies coming out of a womb,” Kitty explained gently.
“No, no, no they have to stay in there until he’s here!” Y/n panicked. “Damn it, I knew he shouldn’t have gone!”
 Dr. Lee took this as her cue to leave. “I’ll be back later to check on you.”
After Dr. Lee left, Y/n turned to Kitty with tears in her eyes. “Mom, I can’t do this alone.”
“Oh, honey, you’re not going to be alone. I’ll be here.”
“You promise?”
Kitty smoothed down her daughter’s sweaty, matted hair. “Of course. I love you.”
“I love you, too.” She wrapped her arms around her mother as she felt an ounce of comfort. When she pulled away, she looked her in the eyes. “Just…don’t look at me. You know, down there.”
“Honey, I’m a nurse. I see this on a daily basis!” Kitty laughed. “And not to mention you, too, came out of me!”
“Ugh, God, MOM!”
                                                  Now…
“Finally! Land!” Eric bellowed as he stumbled out of the now parked car with wobbly legs. “Thank you, God, we’re alive!” He clutched his chest, breathing heavily, and looked up at the sky. “God, I know you and I don’t talk a lot, but thank you for not killing us.”
“Forman, get off the ground,” Hyde ordered. “You’re embarrassing me.”
“I’m just…so happy,” Eric whined, but kept his hand on his chest.
“Come on, hurry!” Red barked. “Those babies aren’t going to wait much longer for them to be born!”
“You’re right,” Hyde said and clapped a hand onto Red’s shoulder. “I’m gonna go have my babies!”
He heard the cheers coming from his friends behind him as he ran into the hospital, heart pounding from the adrenaline.
Eric turned to Donna after they watched their friend disappear into the hospital. “Hey, Donna?”
“Yeah, Eric?”
“Which arm hurts when you’re having a heart attack?”
“Your left one.”
“Oh,” he sighed and cracked a nervous smile. “It’s a good thing we’re at a hospital, huh?”
                                  --Five minutes later—
“Alright, Mrs. Hyde, looks like you’re at ten centimeters,” Dr. Lee said., situating herself between Y/n's legs that were up in the stirrups. “It’s time to start pushing. Are you feeling any pain?”
Y/n shook her head nervously. “Just a lot of pressure.”
“Good. Are you ready?”
Y/n grabbed her mother’s hand as Kitty helped her sit up. “You got this, honey.”
“And…push!” the doctor said, but was quickly interrupted as the door swung open, startling her.
“I’m here! I’m so sorry, but I’m here!” Steven said, out of breath.
“Steven, you’re here!” Y/n said, relief flooding over her, which soon was quickly replaced with anger. “Where the HELL have you been?!”
“I’m so sorry, Doll,” he said and kissed her forehead. “It’s a long story, but traffic was horrible and then I got pulled over until Red found me—”
“What?!” Y/n shouted.
“Mr. Hyde, I’m so glad that you’re able to join us, but Mrs. Hyde is going to have to start pushing now,” said Dr. Lee.
“Oh, my God,” Hyde said nervously and slipped his hand into his wife’s. “You got this, baby.”
“Since you’re here, I’ll let myself out,” Kitty said.
“Wait, no, Mom,” Y/n called out, stopping her. “Y-you don’t have to go. You can stay here if you want.”
Kitty gave her a gentle smile and kissed her cheek. “Sweet girl. It’s okay, you don’t need me.”
“I’ll always need you,” her voice cracked and eyes filled with tears. “Mommy, I’m scared.”
“You’ll be just fine. In a moment like this, you need your husband, not your mother, who I am so glad is finally here. I’ll be right outside, okay?”
Y/n nodded and wiped at her eyes. “Okay.”
“Okay. Besides, I need to talk to your father and see what happened with Steven getting pulled over.” She blew a kiss to her daughter and son-in-law as she walked out the room.
“Alright, Mrs. Hyde, I need you to push for me like you’re using the toilet. Can you do that for me?”
Y/n sat herself up while still gripping onto Steven’s hand and pushed as hard as she could.
“Good job! I’m seeing a head!” the doctor announced.
“Come on, baby, you got this!” Hyde encouraged.
“Okay, now stop,” Dr. Lee ordered. “Breathe, take a ten second break. We’re going to do this slowly. We don’t want any tears.”
Y/n nodded once again and leaned back. She looked up to her husband who was staring down on her lovingly. “I’m glad you’re here.”
“Me too,” he responded. “I’m sorry I’m late.”
She caressed his face. “You’re here now. That’s all that matters.”
“Let’s start pushing again,” Dr. Lee said and placed her hands on Elena’s knees. “And…go!”
Elena sat up with Hyde’s help and started pushing again. Grunting, she felt pressure building up even more as if she really was using the toilet. “Oh, my God!”
“You’re doing it! Good girl!” the doctor encouraged.
“Breathe, baby doll, breathe,” Hyde said gently as he moved hair out of her face.
She let out long breaths to ease the pressure, but it wasn’t helping much.
“Oh, my God, my ass is going to explode!” she screamed.
“No, it’s not, you’re doing so well!” Hyde encouraged.
“Dad, I’m going to need you to hold her leg up for me,” instructed the doctor.
Without a word, Hyde reached down and placed a gentle under her knee, lifting it upwards.
“Much better,” said Dr. Lee. “You’re doing well, Y/n! Just keep pushing!”
Y/n squeezed Hyde’s hand so hard he swore she was going to cut off his fingers, but he didn’t care and in fact, almost completely forgot about it when he heard the doctor yell, “Baby number one’s head is out! Now, Y/n, I’m going to need you to give me one big push for the shoulders, okay?”
Y/n nodded, breathing heavily and leaned against her husband.
“You got this,” Hyde said in her ear as he supported her back.
She grunted and groaned as she pushed as hard as she could.
“Push, baby, push!” Hyde said, almost excitedly.
“Almost there!” Dr. Lee announced.
Y/n took in a deep breath before doing the biggest push she could muster.
“Shoulders are out!” said the doctor before she gently pulled the baby out.
                           And then, there was crying.
“Congratulations, it’s a boy!” announced the doctor.
“Oh, my God!” Y/n cried as she saw her son for the first time.
“It’s a boy,” Hyde said breathlessly. It took everything in him not to allow any tears surface.
“We have a boy, Steven,” Y/n wept as she watched the nurse take him from the doctor. “Where’d he go?”
“They’re just taking him to get him cleaned up,” Steven said, his eyes watery.
“He’s so tiny,” she whispered and looked up at Steven.
“He’s perfect,” he responded and kissed her gently.
“Y/n, it looks like baby number two is ready to come out,” Dr. Lee said.
“Ugh, I already had a baby. Leave me alone,” Y/n groaned. “Can’t I take a break?”
“Sorry, not with this little one. They’re coming sooner than you think!” answered the doctor and sat between her legs again. “Ready?”
“Not really…”
“Good, because they’re coming!”
Y/n didn’t get a chance to even breathe before she felt a tremendous amount of pressure passing through her. She gasped before grabbing onto Hyde’s neck and digging her nails into his flesh.
“Ow, ow, ow, Y/n, ow!”
“So-sorry,” she stuttered, breathless and let go.
“Here, grab my hand instead,” he said, offering his hand.
She grabbed his hand again and squeezed.
“Alright, Mr. Hyde, just like last time, go ahead and grab Mom’s leg and hold it up for me,” Dr. Lee instructed again.
He repeated the motion from before and gently lifted her leg up.
“Perfect,” Dr. Lee said, encouragingly. “Annnnd push!”
One more deep breathe and Y/n pushed harder than she had pushed before.
“Wait, wait, wait, stop pushing,” the doctor said suddenly.
“What, why?!” Y/n asked, panting.
Hyde step forward to take a look. “Oh, God! What the hell is that?!”
“Don’t say that! What is what?!” Y/n screeched.
“It’s the baby’s feet. They’re breeched,” the doctor said.
“Oh, my God. Are they going to be okay?!” Y/n asked, panicking.
“They’re going to be fine. But I’m going to need you to push even harder now.”
“No, I can’t! I can’t do this anymore.”
“Yes, you can,” Hyde said. “You’re stronger than you know. You always have been. You can do this, Y/n”
“No, no I can’t!” She turned back to the doctor. “Can’t you just reach up there and pull the baby out?!”
“Not unless you want a C-section, you’re going to need to do this,” said Dr. Lee.
Y/n leaned back, crying. “I can’t—I don’t have it in me!”
“Hey, hey, look at me,” Steven said, gently. She looked at her husband, teary eyed. “Just think—this baby will be out and then it’ll be over. You just gotta get through this, okay? You can bring our son or daughter and this will be over. Okay? I love you so much, you can do this.”
“I love you, too,” she whimpered and sat up.
“Push like you haven’t pooped in a week,” Dr. Lee instructed gently.
“It feels like I haven’t!” Y/n screamed as she felt the pressure rise.
“There we go!” the doctor said excitedly. “Both feet are out! Here come the legs!”
“You’re doing amazing, doll, keep going!” Hyde encouraged.
Y/n took another breath before pushing the hardest she could. She started to feel some relief from the pressure the more she pushed.
“Here she comes!” Dr. Lee announced.
Hyde’s gaze snapped to the doctor. “It’s a girl?!”
Dr. Lee looked back at him with a soft gaze and a smile. "Yeah, it's a girl."
“Oh, my God,” Hyde said, this time his voice cracking from emotion. “Baby, we have a daughter."
"One of each," Y/n choked back a sob.
"Give me one last big push!” said the doctor.
With a final push, the pressure finally alleviated and soon, the sound of a crying baby filled the room.
“Here she is!” the doctor held up the baby as she continued to cry.
“She’s beautiful,” Y/n said in awe, feeling emotional. She wept as she watched her daughter being taken away for cleanup.
“Just like her mom,” Hyde said teary eyed and looked at his wife. “You did great, Doll. I’m so proud of you.”
The adrenaline that was once pumping through Y/n’s veins was now fading and she could now start to feel the exhaustion take over. “I couldn’t have done this without you.” She reached a hand up and gently wiped a stray tear.
He leaned down and gave her a gentle, passionate kiss.
“Good job, Mom and Dad,” Dr. Lee said with a smile. “Mrs. Hyde, we’re just going to stitch you up—”
“Steven…” Y/n whimpered, her eyelids getting heavier. “’M tired. S’ tired.”
“Uh, doc? Is she supposed to be feeling this tired? She can’t keep her eyes opened—”
The heart rate monitors suddenly start screaming.
“Someone get the babies out of here!” Dr. Lee ordered. “Mr. Hyde, I’m going to need you to step out the room.”
“What’s going on?!” Hyde demanded and looked down to Y/n who was barley conscious.
“She’s hemorrhaging and it’s causing her blood pressure to drop. She’s going into shock.”
“What?!” Steven shouted as he started to be pushed out. “Wait! Wait! Y/n!”
Everything happened so fast, the last thing Hyde saw was his wife being surrounded by nurses and doctors as he was shoved out the room, and the door slammed in his face.
Inspo: Kamal. - people don't change - demo
Pairing: Rue Bennett x Black!Male!reader
Summary: Maybe you had held out for hope for no reason...
Tumblr media
Warnings: Reader and Rue dated prior to Jules ever arriving, drug abuse, and a lot of angst.
Words: 1253
DNI IF YOU'RE YOUNGER THAN 18 OR SENSITIVE TO THE WARNINGS ABOVE!
At the heart, you wanted to believe Rue was trying to get clean. Indeed, you wouldn’t be a friend if you didn’t believe it. What made it hard was sitting in this parking lot, standing by the counter to grab your guys’ food and knowing precisely what she was doing inside your car. A powdered line along your phone case with a rolled-up bill in hand. Her shame had no limits.
And you weren’t going to try and act high and mighty because you’ve done your fair share of drugs. But you didn’t let them take ahold of your life like Rue has.
But who were you to judge? It’s not like you were someone that had control in her life. You were a mere ex-boyfriend and only recently she had befriended you again after the two of you caught up from the few months of her being in rehab.
You didn’t know how to navigate around the clear issue she had been sent to deal with. And the people in her life, like Fez, weren’t exactly helping. Him giving her drugs after knowing about her going to rehab set her back at square one. The difference was he cared about her, unlike most drug dealers. So, you could respect him for that.
Once again; what could you possibly even do?
Grabbing the bag of food, you walked to the vehicle. Rue noticed your approach and slipped out with a tired smile. “I’ve been needing this.”
You smiled. “I’m glad I can be of service.” Handing her the food, you moved to the other side of the car and took your own out.
“Yeah, man. Mom’s been on my ass about these drugs and shit. I can barely be able to go out anymore without her throwing a drug test in my direction.” She took a bite of her burger, humming in satisfaction.
A groan fell from your lips that hadn’t been intentional but simply slipped out. “Here we go again.”
Hearing that made Rue frown. Her lips twitched in a confused grin with her head tilting slightly. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Taking a bite out of your burger, you grabbed a napkin and wipe your lips. “You’re always complaining. Why does everyone keep walking out of my life? Maybe you keep pushing them away? Perhaps you’re the problem.”
Rue scoffed, shaking her head. “I don’t complain, man. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you that.”
“That’s all you do, Rue,” you laughed. “You don’t realize it, but when you were gone, Leslie had me driving Gia to school instead of the bus and I get to hear all about that shit.” Rue, of course, hadn’t known this considering the two of you ended things on a harsh note with her slapping you in front of the entire football team. Now, you weren’t going to take the full blame because you had yelled at her for deciding to skip out on your game to do drugs. And your anger came from your worry, but she hadn’t seen it that way and it resulted in her cutting all ties to you. “You complain and complain about your circumstances and why it won’t get easier. You say you want “change” but you don’t want to change.”
“Pretty high and mighty coming from the asshole smoking weed in front of me,” Rue pointed out, snarky. “If I had recovered at rehab, you would be the cause of me going back to drugs. You ever think about that?”
You smiled, leaning your arms on the roof of the vehicle and saying, “I wouldn’t if I knew you were off of them but I hear everything from Fez. You completely forget that I buy my shit from him.”
She looked about ready to walk away just so this didn’t ruin her high. But you continued, keeping her shortening care to listen. “Rue, you aren’t unique, all right? If I have to be the one to tell you, then I will. But you are just like every addict in this world that is struggling just like you. They had something happen in their lives that put them down the same path as you.” Sighing, you tapped your hand on the roof of your vehicle and said, “The difference is people in your life care and have been trying everything to help you, but you won’t accept it.”
“Why do you even care?” Rue asked.
Exhaling deeply, you said, “Because for a time, I loved you and I still care about you enough to tell you when you are being a jackass. And maybe I had hope that you would get better and go back to who you were before all this shit.” She stared at you for a few moments, perhaps thinking. Whether she was or not, you glanced away before popping open the door. “But then again, I don’t mean jack shit.” And you left her with that hanging statement for most of the ride.
Life had its way of working things out and you were sure that in some way, your words would come to reality for Rue. There hadn’t been malice for years and your intentions weren’t to destroy her. But you saw the only way she could heal was to crumble and repair afterwards. There could only be so much pain and torment she could take before she had to look for a way to pivot to either keep herself safe or keep the people she cared about in her life. And you hoped she found it sooner than later because you could already see the aftermath of her decisions if she kept down this road.
Pulling up outside of her house, you placed the car in park and allowed your hands to fall by your thighs. Leaning your head back into the cushioning of the headrest, exhaling softly.
Rue shifted from time to time, clearly wanting to express her thoughts. She could get out of the car and walk away with the remnants of resentment she’d held against you for years. But she didn’t. She sat there, uncomfortable in her thoughts that she couldn’t put together well enough to make a coherent and important statement.
Sighing, you said, “I know you don’t care about what others think Rue and I can’t change your mind. I am just an ex-boyfriend that you dated for a little while. I can accept that.” Turning toward her, you shook your head. “But your mom, Gia, Fez, Maddy–everyone fucking cares. The last thing anyone wants to see is your face on the early morning news dead from an overdose. I don’t want to see that shit.”
Rue chewed on her bottom lip, nodding to herself. As she went to grab the door handle, she stopped, looking back at you and muttering, “You know, I’m sorry about us-”
“Don’t.” Rue watched as you shook your head, glancing at her. “You don’t need to go digging into the past to apologize to me when you should be focused on the road ahead. It’s embarrassing.”
Again, harsh. But needed. And for the first time since the start of the argument, Rue didn’t bite back or protest. Almost agreeing. Because it was despicable how she desperately tried to indirectly apologize. Especially for something she knew she didn’t deserve the opportunity to apologize for. “It’s in the past and you found someone new and I’m happy for you.” Unlocking her door, you sighed. “Just don’t go ruining it like we did with our relationship.”
also!! could you do a fluffy fezco imagine? where it’s the readers first time getting high with fez and it’s super cute and giggly and stuff🫶🏼
First High. - Fezco x f!reader
Tumblr media
Fezco Masterlist | Requests are closed!
(A/N: I finished it at like 5:15 am, german time, and I hope you like it!) Shipping: Fezco x f!reader Summary: You know Fez for quite a while, so it wasn’t your first Time seeing Fezco smoking a Joint, but well, the last time you were over you guys talked. You let it slip that you also wanted to try smoking too, and after convincing Fez to smoke your first ever Joint with him, with the argument that it would be better if it was with him instead with some random person at the next Party you attend. Wordcount: 3,3k Warning: Fluff!, English is not my first language, Use of Drugs (weed), friends to lovers, female reader, talk about shitty family/ drug addicted parent, abusive step-parent, cuss ords, a bit angst at the end (sorry couldn't resist.) Notes: My first Fez one, could be a bit out of character. I never smoked one before, I wanna try it honestly, but all my friends I know who did it stopped. So it’s probably a bit shitty. And I decided it’s going to be a friends to lovers, like a High love confession. NOT PROOF READ!
You walked the pavement to Fezcos house, to be true you are a bit nervous, since you know what is going to happen today, but especially because you don’t know if you could hold your secret you kept all this time alone for you. You know Fezco for a really long time, you've been Best Friends all your life, which also meant that you also took care of Ash and their Grandma. They knew they could always count on you, no matter what. For Ash you became something like a Big Sister, but mostly you became a mother figure to him. Since their Grandma became sick, you were the only mother figure he had left. To tell the truth about their Grandma, the first time Fezco brought you to their Home, she was suspicious about you, she didn’t trust you. She knew your Mom, who was a Junkie back in the days, with an abusive Boyfriend who got your Mother in these things. She first thought you just befriended Fezco, so you could steal from them for your Mother and her Boyfriend, but once she realized Fezco became friends with you and brought you often over because your Stepfather hit you and you sometimes for days alone, she became fine with it. The first time she saw you with a bruised eye, she didn’t need to ask, the one time she saw how her Boyfriend even handled everything with her, how intimidated she was of him. So she kinda raised you two, you sometimes even helped him, mostly so you could faster spend time with fez and ashtray.
Well back to now, to this Moment. You lied to your Mom a couple of Minutes ago, you told her you would sleep over at one of your Friends Houses, better to say at Lexi’s House, since she and Suze are really close Friends. You told Lexi about it, and that she should tell her Mom about it. You Mom became clean a couple of years ago, you loved her for it, but she became more strict because of it, which you didn’t mind. But she became especially strict when Fez came up in one of your conversations. She knew what happened to his Grandma and that he is now the one dealing all the stuff. She doesn’t want you around that stuff, one because she doesn't want you to go the same path as her, second because she doesn’t really think that Fez is that good for you. She is thankful that he and his Grandma took care of you back then, but since she is clean she doesn’t think you need to be around him anymore.
With one last little shake of your head to get the thoughts of your mother out of your head you ring at Fezcos door. Not even five Minutes later, a Fezco in Smarties Pants opens the door. “Hey, smartie pants.”, you smiled looking him up and down. “Hey ma.”, he smiled a bit back letting you in. he closed the door behind you again once you were in. You walked into the Living Room looking for Ash, but he wasn’t on his spot on the Sofa. “Isn’t Ash here?”, you asked, putting your backpack with your Stuff beside the couch. “Nah, he left an hour ago with a Friend to sleep there.”, he said from the kitchen. You sit down on the sofa with a little smile on your lips, you know how Ash is, and how grown up he is sometimes, so hearing that he does stuff that normal 14 year olds normally do makes you smile. “Here.”, Fez stood in front of you with a smoking cup in front of you. “Thanks.”, you took the hot cup out of Fez Hand putting your feet up on the couch. Fez knew you really well, everytime you were nervous you drank a hot tea to calm your nerves, so knowing that you are going to smoke your first joint today, made you nervous which is totally okay. “Does your Mom know you’re here?”, he looked at you getting his stuff out to roll a joint. “No, I told her that I’m sleeping over at Lexis. I’m Happy that at least her Mom is relaxed enough to play along with such little lies.”, you said while taking a sip. “Does Lexi know what you wanna do?”, he questioned while taking the weed out of a little bag. “No..”, you hesitated but you saw a little smile turn up on Fezcos lips. “I just told her that I'm staying with you tonight and that my Mom would kill me if she knew about it.” “Well, she would kill you even more if she knew what you wanna do.”, he said while using the Grinder. “That’s true.”, you hit your smile behind your cup while taking another sip. “You really sure you wanna do it, ma?”, he looked at you from the side, opening the Grinder without looking. “Yeah, I mean I’m here and didn’t back out.”, you said, putting the Cup down. “You can always say no, you know?” “I know Fez, but I'd rather do it with you instead someday at a random Party with some weird ass people.”, you stated while taking the remote to turn the TV on. The next couple of Minutes both of you were silent, it wasn't weird for you two to just sit quietly in the Living Room. Only Existing between the two of you. You loved it, because it can just be as simple as that between you two, you didn’ need words to have a good time. You switched through the TV channels, not really deciding what to watch, so you just switched to Netflix looking there for something. Out of the Corner of your eye you saw, Fezco putting the shredded weed in the Paper, before he rolled it and licked the Paper to close it. “I’m done if you want to start.”, he said looking at you. “In a Minute, I need to change ín something  Comfy, before we start.”, you said, grabbing your backpack going to the Bathroom. You heard him giggle a little, which put a smile on your Lips.
In the Bathroom you put your hair in a Bun, changed your jeans into some shorts, and your shirt in one of Fez ones which you stole a few weeks before. With your Backpack you go back to Fez who looked at you with a little smirk. “Is that mine?”, he asked, pointing to the Shirt. “It was yours, now it’s mine.”, you smiled, sitting down next to him. “It looks better on you than on me.”, he said while a little blush creeped on your cheeks. “Oh shut up.”, you pushed him on the shoulders. “Why? It's the truth.” You tried to hide the grin which was coming up, but you couldn’t. “So what you’re we starting now or do wanna drink out your tea first?”, he asked, looking at you taking the Joint from behind his ear.
You thought for a moment, putting a random Series on. “I can drink it while we do it.”, you stated finally. You watched Fez putting the End with the Filter between his lips, you already saw it a million times, you even were with him when he smoked his first one, but no matter how often you saw it you could never not watch him. His look was concentrated on lighting the Tip with the Lighter. The Flame lighting his Face a bit while burning the paper and already some of the weed smoke rising up from it. Every Time you saw it, it felt like the first time a bit, but instead of not taking the Joint, you sit here years later trying it for the first time. You watch him closely how he inhaled the smoke, taking the joint away, putting his head back blowing a cloud of smoke out. You watched the smoke dancing in the air while fading slightly, everytime it looked beautiful. A sight you neve could get enough from.
“You ready, ma?”, he looked at you holding the Joint to you. “Yeah.”, you said, coming back from your  kinda trance. You took the joint out of his Hands between your thumb and index finger. “It’s easy once you know how, it could sting a bit once the smoke is in your lungs and your throat is probably burning.”, he explained while turning.
“I know, I saw how you coughed after your very first hit of one.”, you said smiling. “So I am allowed to laugh?” “Yeah because I did it too.” He just smiled a Moment at you before continuing. “So it’s easy, you put the end between your lips, just inhale the smoke in your mouth before you take the Joint away to Inhale it in your Lungs. But don’t inhale for too long.” You did as you were told, you put the End between your Lips and started to Inhale it. You felt the Smoke fill up Mouth, then you took the Joint away and inhaled and there it was the Burning in your throat and the little Sting in your Lungs which made you cough up. Fezco started laughing while taking the Joint back from your Hand, you grabbed your CUp, with your warm tea to take a sip, so once you came down you put it down. “You good ma?”, Fez looked at you. He studied your face, like he often did when you were with him, the frown between your lips slowly goes away while your Face muscles relaxed again. No matter how often he looked at your face, it was like he always spotted something new on your face, even if it was already there and he had seen it a million times. “Yeah, I think my Lungs need just time to calm down.”, you said laughing slightly.
The Next minutes you just looked at the TV, both of you didn’t really pay attention to it, so you already missed the first episode and half of the second one. The next time you wanted to give it a chance, you just took the Joint out of Fezcos Hand and put it between your lips. You inhaled the smoke again, just like Fez told you a few minutes ago, but this time you didn’t cough as much, it still burns and stings a little but it was better than the first time. “See it’s better.”, he said while putting an arm around you. “Yeah.”, you said laughing slightly. Fez took the Joint Back to inhale the smoke, it was already halfway done by the second hit you took because he smokes most of it. You took the remote and ended the Series you were watching. “What are you doin’?”, he asked with a confused frown putting itself on his face. “This shit is boring. I wanna watch somethin’ funny.”, you said looking at him. He looked in your eyes, seeing them getting redder and more hooded by the time and to tell the truth, you felt yourself getting relaxed by every second that passed. Your Body sank more into the couch and into Fez, you became a light headed feeling and just in all you felt relaxed.
You turned your face back to the TV and put on the ‘Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood’(While I’m writing this I watched it btw) to watch. It might not be the best decision but the Movie was funny and you loved it. A while later you took the Joint again and took a hit without coughing. “Hey, you gettin’ better Ma.”, he smiled. You just grinned at him before turning back to the TV.
You both just couldn’t stop laughing, from the beginning on the Movie was hilarious as hell. “Fuck, how can this be your favorite Movie?”, he laughed looking at you. “Let me, this Movie is Funny as hell! The part where he punched his Grandma in the Face or his Cousin with the bunny shoes?! That shit is Funny!”, you laughed. “Nah man, there are movies funnier than this one.”, he said grinning. “You didn’t just say this.”, you gasped, widening your eyes as best as you can. “Yes I did.”, he just laughed. You took your Pillow you always took with you when you sleep anywhere out of your backpack and started to hit him. “Hey, Okay- Okay Stop.”, you got it that he was laying down on the Sofa and you were sitting. “Say that the Movie is good!”, you said grinning. “Will you stop then?”, he asked. “Yes.” But faster than you can react the Pillow was out of your Hand thrown on the other empty sofa next to yours, you jumped up trying to get to the Pillow, but since the Joint hasn’t really the same effect on Fez as it has on you, he grabbed you by the waist and pulled you back on the Sofa next to him.
“Hey, that's unfair!”, you said laughing. “Nah it’s not.”, he laughed with you. The pull from Fezco pulling you back plus you being High, made you fall down on the Sofa, so you changed your position to look at him slowly coming down from your laughing fit.
“What’s up?”, he looked at you with a smile. “Nothing, I just like it… Like that, y’know?”, you smiled looking at your Hands. “Like what?”, he put his arm on the sofa back. “That, you and me. This all to be honest.. Shit, even if it never was really easy with our lives, I’m happy that we always had each other and that you were always there for me.. Even your Grandma.though she didn’t really liked me at the beginning.”, you laughed slightly. “I’m Happy too ma. You know, I bet Ash wouldn't have been half as he is now, when you wouldn't have been there.”, he smiled at you in his eyes, nothing more than adoration and softness. He put his Hand on your knee drawing little circles with his thumb on it. “Oh shut it, I bet he would’ve turned out as much as he is now, even if I wouldn’t have been here.”, you said, rolling your eyes. “Nah, never ever probably worse than now.” “Wow, you have much hope in your Brother.”, you said sitting up. “Not him, me, I don’t know what I would’ve done without you. I probably turned him worse after everything with Grandma and shit.”, his Hand never leaving your knee. “No, don't think of you like that. You were perfect, shit. You were there for your Grandma, Ash and me, I have no Idea how you did all this shit at such a young age but you did. I was just a little help for Ash and your Grandma.”, you said, putting your hand on his. “You know, that she would kill you right now? Hearin’ you call her only my Grandma, when she told you more than once that you can call her also Grandma?”, he laughed. “Yeah, especially after I also washed her. But let's not talk about that too much or else she is gettin’ up on her bed comin’ over and slap me right here.”, you giggled. “If she could, she definitely would.”, he said grinning. “Fuck, remember the one time you snapped at me because of all the stress and out of nowhere she just hit you at the back of your Head?!, you laughed. “Shit, yeah I sometimes feel that hit still.”, he laughed. “Grandma was a really great Person, fuck I wish she wouldn’t have gotten that shit.”, you said laughing. “Yeah, than would everything different now.”, he said grinning. You have no Idea how long you two sat there just talking about Fezcos Grandma, she really was a person where you needed to be sure to be on her good site, because you really didn’t wanna be on her bad site.
“Fuck, she really was one of a kind.”; you laughed holding your belly who hurted. Once you both calmed down you just looked at him grinning, moments like this were your favorite ones, and as you found out they were even better when you were high. You don’t know what made you say the next couple of words, if it was out of the moment, the weed or just something in you finally wanna spitting it out, all you know is that you just did it. “I love you, Fez.”, you said smiling looking at him. “I love you too, Ma.”, he said smiling at you, but by the way he looked at you, you knew he didn’t really get it. “No, like love love, not platonic.. more like in a I had a crush on you for a couple of years..”, you said, your smile slowly fading a bit. “Shit, you’re high you don’t mean it.”, he said laughing slightly. “Well, wrong. Like yeah I’m high, but the love part is true. I probably shouldn’t have said it, but it just came out. I’m sorry.”, you said, kinda realizing what you just have done. “Shit really?”, he asked, looking at you. You just nodded. You put a bit of space between the two of you, not knowing what is coming next. “Why are you telling me that now?”, he asked just looking at you. “I don’t know why it just came out, maybe it's the Weed, maybe the heat of the Moment. I have no plan.”, you said, nervously playing with your hands. “Shit, couldn’t have told me that earlier?”, he asked, putting the second joint out, you two just smoked. “What do you mean?”, you asked. “Than I hadn’t listen to about all that Heartbreak of the last few years.”, he said smiling. “Oh shut up, you could’ve done also a move.”, you said, hitting his shoulder. “Well, I can do one now.”, he just stated. Just before you could ask what it meant, you felt two lips on yours, you were shocked at first but you came fast back to earth and kissed him back. You tried not to giggle, because of his beard but once you two separated you giggled. “What?”, he asked. “Your beard tickles.”, you giggled at him. “I can shave him off.”, he just stated. “No, I like it, plus without the beard, you would probably like sixteen.”; you stated. You both started to laugh again, your head against his chest feeling how it raises and sinks down through the laughing.
Once you calmed down, he put his arms around you pulling you on his lap. “We should do this more often.”, you said grinning, while putting an arm around his neck. “What?” “Smoking, I like it.”, you said, smiling at him. “Well, that means that you need to lie more to your mom then.”, he said with one hand around your waist and the other one on your thigh. “Mh, I'm just balancing the lies part of our relationship out. Y’know for all the times she told me she was gonna leave her ex-boyfriend and stop doing drugs when I was little.”, you said.
The Evening, ended with you and Fez falling asleep on the couch and Ashtray coming home finding the both of you cuddled up together with the blanket around you guys. Even though he has no Idea what happened last evening, he could tell that something changed between the two of you just by the way your faces looked while you’re sleeping. So when he saw you guys kissing once you woke up and made something to eat for the both of you because it's already afternoon, he couldn’t resist smiling. He loved the both of you and it just made him happy to know that y’all are now a full family, even more now than before.
Interstellar Overdrive
This is the Hyde truth serum one. This is a space AU and all the sci-fi elements are mostly explained in the writing. The timeline of the show is the same, but they live in space. This takes place in the very beginning of season 5, with some minor changes.
TBH I don't think I had a plan for this fic beyond the truth serum scene. I don't know where this was gonna go after that. But the build up is fun! This is chapters one and two, which is all I had written.
Word count: 2,825
Pairings: Hyde/Jackie, Eric/Donna
1 - Boyfriend
1979Deep SpaceThe Formans’ House
Hyde forced himself not to smile when Jackie giggled, her nails dragging lightly over his scalp. He continued pressing soft kisses to her neck. They were fooling around on the couch in the basement, like they had been all summer. Hyde was enjoying it. He wasn’t ready for it to end when Kelso got back from whatever planet he and Donna were on.
“Steven, that tickles,” she said breathily, squirming underneath him.
He couldn’t help it. He smiled and gently bit her, then moved up a little to kiss her fully.
One of her hands left his hair and trailed down his abdomen. Her fingers hooked in the waistband of his pants, slowly dragging over his skin. His breath hitched.
Her fingers were poised over his belt buckle when they heard the creaking of the stairs down to the basement. They quickly separated and tried to look normal. Hyde grabbed a Universe magazine from the table.
Forman sat down in Hyde’s usual chair, looking put out. Fez sat in the lawn chair. “This summer sucked,” Forman said.
“Of course it sucked, you didn’t do anything,” Hyde pointed out. “My summer was great.”
Forman frowned. “You haven’t done anything either!”
“Yes, he has,” Fez said. “Every time I want to hang out with him he is with a girl somewhere. I am sick of it.”
“What girl?” Forman asked.
“Yeah, Steven, what girl?” Jackie asked.
“None of you know her,” Hyde said.
“Boring.” Forman tapped his foot. “I wish I had someone to fool around with.”
“Call Donna,” Jackie said. “You know she’s probably up for it.”
Hyde nodded. “Unless she met a perfect robot guy on Calaria.”
“She doesn’t date cyborgs, the robot part makes her uncomfortable,” Forman said. “But she could have found a human guy to replace me.”
“She’s not going to replace you. She loves you. Now, go send her a transmission or something,” Jackie said.
“Oh, I’ll help you, I love picking out the little pictures to send in the messages,” Fez said.
“You really think she still loves me?” Forman asked.
“I know she does. She won’t shut up about it during our calls.” Jackie flipped her hair over her shoulder.
Forman smiled. “I’m gonna go send her a transmission. Let’s go, Fez.”
The two of them got up and rushed up the stairs. Once the door was closed, Hyde turned to Jackie. “That was close.”
“Yeah, it was.” Jackie bit her lip. “I’m… I’m kind of sick of hiding this thing between us. It’s annoying having to check to make sure no one’s around and everything.”
“So… what, you want to break it off?” Hyde really didn’t want to break it off. He actually wanted to be her boyfriend. He’d been falling in love with her ever since their very first date on Galactic Veteran’s Day.
“No!” Jackie said, too quickly. “No. I like being with you. I, um… I know you don’t do girlfriends, though.”
“Well… I think I could make an exception. For you.”
She grinned. “Are you serious?”
“Yeah. I like you.”
“I like you too!” She quickly closed the distance between them and kissed him. “And I’d really like to be your girlfriend.”
“Really? What about Kelso?”
“What about him? We’re done forever. I don’t love him, and I haven’t loved him for a long time. He can just deal with it when he finds out. I’m allowed to move on, it just happens to be with one of his closest friends.”
“So, you wanna tell everyone?”
“If you’re okay with that.”
“Yeah. Then we won’t have to sneak around.” He smiled a little. “All right. We can tell the losers about it later. Right now… Can we continue what we were doing before they interrupted?”
Jackie nodded. “Let’s go to your room. Boyfriend.”
He chuckled. “Come on, weirdo.”
Jackie giggled as they went back to his room. He had a good feeling about having a relationship with her, strangely.
~
Eric and Fez were walking down to the basement. They’d sent a transmission to Donna yesterday, but they’d gotten no response. Eric had told his mom to let him know if they got a message back.
“I hope she’s okay. She's probably just out, right?” Eric asked.
“I’ve told you three times already, yes!”
Eric shook his head and went down the stairs to the basement. He stopped short. Jackie and Hyde were on the couch, making out. Their legs were tangled together. “What the hell?”
They parted the kiss but stayed tangled together. “What?” Hyde asked, turning to look at him.
“You’re making out with the devil, that’s what!”
“It was hot,” Fez said.
Hyde and Jackie grimaced and separated from each other, sitting on the couch normally. Eric sat in Hyde’s usual chair and Fez sat in the lawn chair. “Are you two together?” Eric asked.
Hyde draped his arm around Jackie’s shoulders. “Yep.”
“For how long?”
“Since yesterday,” Jackie said. “But we’ve been fooling around for almost three months.”
“Three months? And you’ve kept it hidden?” Eric wasn’t all that surprised that he hadn’t known. He hadn’t been around very often. But it was still shocking.
“Yeah,” Hyde said. “Jackie’s the chick I’ve been fooling around with all summer. Then we got sick of hiding it.”
“No, we decided that we like each other a lot and we wanted to be together officially,” Jackie said. Hyde nodded.
Eric furrowed his brow. “Hyde, you actually like her? Romantically?”
“Yeah, get over it.”
He shook his head. “No, I refuse to believe that until I see it.”
His mom came down the stairs, bending down to look at them from the top of the stairs. "Donna sent a transmission back! And stop picking on Steven for having a girlfriend."
"You knew about Jackie and Hyde? Wait, wait, Donna." Eric ran up the stairs, the others close behind.
The five of them crowded around the transmitter. Eric pressed the button, and the message came up on screen.
DONNA: Eric, we were kidnapped. We were taken by some mysterious ship. It's just me and Kelso. You need to save us before I murder him.
"Oh my God!" Jackie exclaimed. "Kidnapped? We have to go!"
"Where would we go? We don't know who took them," Hyde pointed out.
Jackie gave him a look. "We still have to go and find them!"
"Wait, Eric, does Donna still have the location ring you gave her?" Fez asked. "The ring could send location signals so you could find each other."
"I doubt it. But it's worth a shot." Eric ran upstairs and got his own ring, which was paired to the one he'd given Donna. Jackie and Kelso had similar ones, but Jackie had thrown hers into a black hole. He went back downstairs and pressed the center of the ring down, sending a location signal.
Jackie grabbed Hyde's hand tightly as they waited for the signal. After a few minutes, they got one back. A small hologram appeared out of the ring. "The Kenosha Belt! That's not too far from Planet Place, we can get there quickly," Eric said.
"There's an asteroid field between here and there," his mom said. She frowned. "Oh, just be careful. I'll tell Bob. You four go. Wait, I'll make you some sandwiches to take with you. Oh, and a first-aid kit."
"Mom," Eric whined.
She put her hands on her hips. "You still need to be safe. I will be quick." She rushed into the kitchen.
"I can't believe they got captured," Eric said. "Who would even do this?"
"I don't know, man," Hyde said. "But we'll kick his ass." He clapped Eric's shoulder. "It's gonna be fine."
"Aw, Steven, you're so motivational!" Jackie crooned, hugging his arm.
Hyde frowned. "No, I'm not. Shut up." Jackie just grinned and kissed his cheek.
"See, what kind of boyfriend tells his girlfriend to shut up?" Eric asked.
"The kind who's only been a boyfriend for one day, give me a break." Hyde left the room, following Eric's mom to the kitchen.
"Guys! Our friends are kidnapped!" Fez said. "This is not the time to be fighting about relationships."
"You're right," Eric said. "I'll get the ship ready."
~
Donna groaned internally. She was stuck in a small, gray room with Kelso. All she had were her clothes and the things in her pockets. She was incredibly glad she'd been missing Eric that morning and had decided to keep the ring he'd given her in her pocket.
"They're gonna come save us, and Jackie will be so glad I'm not dead that she'll take me back right away! We'll do it the second we're alone," Kelso said.
"Or they'll come save us and Jackie won't take you back because you're a dirty bastard."
"Shut up!" the guard snapped at them from the small window in the door.
Donna rubbed her forehead. "I hope Eric gets here soon."
"Me too. Just so I can prove to you that Jackie still wants me."
She groaned again, burying her head in her hands.
~
Hyde sat with Jackie in the back row of the Vista Spaceship. Her fingers were drumming on his thigh. He wasn't sure if it was a nervous habit or if she was being a tease.
"Asteroid coming up," Hyde said, pointing to a small space rock out the windshield.
Forman turned to avoid it. "You don't have to point out every asteroid, Hyde, I can see them."
"Just making sure, man." He leaned forward a little. Jackie started to move her hand from his thigh, but he grabbed it with his own hand. He glanced at her to make sure it was okay before he laced his fingers through hers. He leaned forward again, towards the front row. "What's the plan once we get there?"
Forman shrugged. "I don't know. Find Donna and Kelso?"
"We will have to get on the ship that captured them first," Fez said. "We will infiltrate the ship, then begin our search. Once we find them, we take out the bad guys and get back to the Vista Spaceship, which we will take home. And then we will all laugh at Kelso because Hyde stole his girlfriend."
"Great plan," Hyde said.
"It's good enough," Forman said.
"Eric, asteroid," Jackie said, pointing to another rock floating towards them. Forman turned around it.
"You two are made for each other," Forman muttered.
~
"Oh, that looks like a ship that would take Donna and Kelso," Fez said.
Up ahead was a foreboding flat ship, floating leisurely among the debris from the nearby asteroid field. Eric nodded. "I'll find a place to land, I guess."
He found a clear expanse of space on the outside of the ship and landed the Vista Spaceship. Eric handed out masks to everyone so they could breathe until they got inside. They got out and started searching for the entrance.
Jackie put her hands on her hips as she walked across the top of the ship. "So, what are we even looking for? Some kind of door or-" She screamed as she got sucked into the ship.
Hyde and Fez rushed over. "Jackie!" Hyde called out. "Are you okay?"
"I found the entrance!" she called back.
Hyde went in after her. Fez and Eric followed. They landed in a barren hallway. It split off in two directions.
Hyde helped Jackie up from the ground. “You good?” he asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine. The ground’s not as hard as it looks.” She smiled. “It’s sweet that you were worried about me.”
He gave her a look and changed the subject. “There’s two hallways, what do we want to do?”
“Uh… Split up and look for clues?” Eric suggested.
Hyde smirked. “Sure thing, Scooby. Jackie and I will take the left hallway. Send a signal or scream really loud if something happens.”
He and Jackie went down the left hallway. Eric turned to Fez. “Let’s go, I guess.”
They started down the right hallway. It seemed like no one was around.
At the end of the hallway, the paths converged. Eric looked around the corner to see if Jackie and Hyde were on their way. They were walking hand in hand down the hall, slowly. Jackie tugged on Hyde’s hand and he turned to her, his back to Eric.
Eric’s shout was muffled by the piece of cloth placed over his mouth as someone grabbed him from behind. The person dragged him away, and he felt his consciousness slipping as he breathed in through the fabric.
2 - Truth Serum
Jackie pulled Hyde to face her. “What’s the plan when we find them?”
“You sound very confident in us.”
“Of course. We’re great, of course we’re gonna find them. What are we gonna do when that happens?”
“I’ll kick ass and you help Donna and Kelso?”
Jackie smiled. She opened her mouth to say something, then a door opened behind her. Donna’s voice came from inside. “Help! Someone help!”
“Oh my God!” Jackie turned and rushed into the room. Hyde followed her.
As soon as they entered the room, the door shut behind them. Someone grabbed Hyde from behind and pushed him into a chair. Restraints came from the back of the chair and wrapped around his arms and torso. He struggled against them, trying to see who had captured him.
Someone in a dark cloak forced Jackie into a similar chair across from him. She kicked at the person, but none of her kicks landed.
Once the two of them were restrained, two cloaked figures stood between them. “Who the hell are you people? And where's Donna?” Hyde asked.
They removed their cloaks, and Jackie groaned. “Casey? Why the hell are you here?” She looked at the other guy. “And I don’t even know you.”
“I am Tomas. I was an exchange student. Hyde and Fez left me on the rings of Michigan. I am getting revenge.”
Hyde chuckled. “That was funny.”
“Not to me,” Tomas said.
Hyde looked at Casey. “What about you? Why are you here?”
Casey shrugged. “I got nothing else to do, and Jackie’s not seeing my brother anymore so I figured I could get in on that.”
Hyde narrowed his eyes at Casey. “Yeah, about that, she’s my girlfriend, dillhole.”
Casey raised his eyebrows and smiled. “So, Jackie Burkhart is slumming it with Steven Hyde.” He looked at Jackie. “You could do better.”
Jackie glared at Casey. “What do you freaks want, anyway?”
“Tom, bring it out,” Casey said with a sinister smile.
Tomas brought out a sleek black box. He set it on a table between Jackie and Hyde. Casey opened it up to reveal a syringe and vial of bright green liquid. “Truth serum,” Casey said.
“And what are you gonna use that for?” Hyde asked.
“We’re gonna have some fun, Hyde.” Casey waved his hand at Tomas, who took out the syringe and filled it with the serum. Casey turned Hyde’s arms so that his veins showed, then Tomas injected the serum into his blood.
~
They all waited a second for something to happen. “See, you morons can’t even get truth serum right,” Steven said. “Nothing even-” He cut himself off and blinked a few times. “My head feels weird.”
"Steven, are you okay?" Jackie asked.
"I'm, um… I feel fine." He giggled. Jackie had never heard such a sound come out of his mouth. "I feel great."
Casey furrowed his brow. "Tom, man, how much did you give him?"
"Double dose. I wanted to make sure it worked," Tomas said.
"You moron, that's too much!" Casey groaned. "Whatever. This'll still be fun. When'd you start dating Jackie?"
"Yesterday, but I've liked her a lot longer than that. And we've been fooling around for months." Steven closed his eyes and smiled. His words started slurring. "You know, she tastes great."
Jackie felt heat rush to her cheeks. "Steven!"
He opened his eyes and looked at her. "What? It's true."
Casey smirked. "And how long have you liked Jackie?"
Steven giggled again. "Since we went out on Galactic Veteran's Day. That's when I started falling for her."
"Aww," Jackie crooned. "That's so sweet!"
Steven smiled at her. "Jackie, you wanna know something? I'm in love with you."
Jackie's smile dropped, even as a thrill went through her body. "What?"
"I love you. You're the first girl I've ever loved."
Casey laughed. "This is better than what I expected."
"Steven, I am going to kill you if this isn't true," Jackie said.
"Of course it is true, he's on truth serum," Tomas said.
Steven giggled again. "This is fun, man. Jackie, isn't this great?"
"No! Ugh, this is so not how I wanted your first love confession to go."
Steven smiled, an infuriatingly cute smile. “You’re so cute when you’re mad. Like an angry kitten.”
Jackie glared at him. “How long does this last?”
Casey grinned. “We’ll find out.”
Having Jackie end up with anyone other than Hyde completely ruined her character development and was just lazy writing.
We watched her go from a self centered, whiny, rich girl to an ACTUAL good human being, and what person was by her side at her time of growth? Not Kelso, who more than once would negatively affect her growth by popping in and promising her love just to crush her and kill her self worth. I’m not saying Hyde and Jackie were perfect. They both did things in their relationship that was questionable, but they were young, and used that as a way of growth and maturity, not to hate each other.
Having Jackie date Fez in the last season was lazy writing. Were we supposed to be like “yes! He got the girl after so long of pining?!” Cuz I can promise you that wasn’t my reaction. Nothing about their “relationship” felt authentic to me. Then to find out she ends up marrying Kelso of all people. It just completely threw her development into the trash. “Oh, they’ve both grown” no. Have you watched “That 90’s Show”? They still bicker over juvenile things and don’t treat each other with the nurturing kind of love they should have by now. They simply married out of last resort, in my opinion. It’s a toxic cycle.
I’m so angrily passionate about this couple that I could rant for years. Hyde loved Jackie and wanted her, just a miscommunication between the two having them fall apart the way it did is unrealistic. They were supportive of each other and had so much potential to be end game.
“Did I do something wrong?”
Lexi hates how small her voice sounds when asking that question, but it’s the only logical conclusion she can come up with. Her blooming friendship with Fezco over the last several months has been the highlight of her Junior year - who knew her friend’s favorite drug dealer was as soft hearted as he was soft spoken? - but in recent weeks she’s felt him pulling away. Not fully, not enough that it would be obvious to anyone else, but Lexi’s been ditched enough by friends in the past that she knows the warnings signals better than most.
She’s sitting on the counter of Fez’s store, feet swinging anxiously as she tries to look anywhere but directly at him, absolutely failing her attempt. A wild range of emotions flash across Fezco’s face in a blink of an eye before he settles on confusion.
“The fuck you talkin’ ‘bout Lexi?” he asks, looking at her over the clipboard she gifted after watching him lose track of his stock list more than once. “You damn near perfect girl, c’mon now.”
It’s moments like this, ones where he puts her on a pedestal, that she thinks she’s just getting in her head. But then something else will happen - awkward goodbyes when he’s dropping her off or a strained voice on the phone - and Lexi’s reminded of every failed friendship she’s ever had.
She knows she is too much of a people pleaser, too happy to let other people walk all over her if it means an ounce of affection in return, and she’s trying her hardest to change that. It fucking hurts that the person who pointed this all out to her and gave her the confidence to stop being a doormat is doing the exact thing they’d warned against, but that’s life sometimes right?
Lexi didn’t bring this up to back down now. If he’s going to end their friendship, she’d rather he rips it off like a bandaid instead of letting her down gently.
She pushes her hair behind her ears and straightens her spine. “If you don’t want to be friends anymore, just tell me outright. You’re not saving my feelings by slowly withdrawing from me Fezco. I’m a big girl, I can handle it.”
“The fuck?” the man utters again, shaking his head slightly. Fez tosses the clipboard down beside her, Lexi managing to only flinch slightly at the sound. “Did Ash say sumn to you?”
Lexi shakes her head no. “He didn’t need to. I’ve put it together myself.”
Blue eye stare her down intently, like they’re attempting to call her bluff, but there’s nothing there for him to catch her on. Ashtray has been more or less indifferent to her role in his brothers life since the first time they met and barely speaks to her unless he absolutely needs to.
Fezco lifts a single eyebrow in question as he places himself directly in front of her, arms crossed in front of his chest. “Put what together?”
“Come on Fez,” Lexi sighs lightly. “I know I come on really strong when I value someone’s friendship, and I can tell that you’re over my bullshit. It’s not the first time this has happened, you know. If you don’t want to be friends anymore you should just tell me.”
A long sighs winds it’s way out of the man in front of her, Fezco leaning his head back as he blinks up at the fluorescents on his ceiling. He’s rubbing the back of his neck as he finally looks back down at her.
Okay, this is it, this is when he tells her she’s right. Lexi braces herself for impact.
“Jesus fuckin’ Christ Lex,” Fez replies, stepping forward to close the gap between them. “Ion know where you got all these ideas ‘bout what I’m feelin’, but Imma tell you that yo’ ass got most of it wrong.”
“Most of it?” The question slips out before she can process it, probably because Fezco’s pushing his way between her knees in order to grip his hands onto her hips.
“I mean yo’ right about one thing,” Fezco smirks, thumbs rubbing smoothly under the edge of her cardigan against the skin of her waist, creating a blazing path as her hands come up to his shoulders of their own accord. “Ion wanna be yo’ friend anymore.”
Lexi blinks. “What?”
“Fuck baby,” Fez responds, closing the space between them in order to rub his nose against hers. “Truth is that I’m so damn in love witchu that Ion know what to do with myself. You got me beyond fucked up Lexi.”
“I do?”
She feels his smile more than she sees it, the way his mouth is brushing against hers. “Hell yeah. You got me nervous as hell. You know what typa power you hold in order to make a drug dealer nervous Lex?”
Lexi’s mind has gone pleasantly blank at Fezco’s words. It takes her several moments to allow herself to reboot before she realizes he hasn’t kissed her yet because he’s waiting on an answer, waiting for her to show him she’s good with how quickly he flipped the script on her.
Lexi grips the collar of his sweater tightly before she finally whispers. “Show me.”
Holy cow, you are going through these requests super fast. Woah! Also congrats on graduating. So am I. This isn't detailed at all but maybe a graduation fic with Hyde or Kelso. You can do whatever you want with it.
Proud of You (Steven Hyde X Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: Hyde never cared for school or big events that didn’t revolve around him getting wasted. But he always shows up for his favorite girl.
A/N: congrats on graduating to you too!! Also, reader is in Jackie’s grade. Also number 2, even though i write for hyde I DO NOT SUPPORT THE ACTOR!!! kk that’s all, hope you enjoy :) F/f means favorite flower
***
You loved your boyfriend; you really truly did. But part of you didn’t believe Hyde when he told you he would be in the front row of your high school graduation. He didn’t even show up to his own graduation! You expected him to forget and find him sitting in his chair in the Forman’s basement, watching some stupid show with the guys.
You still kept your hopes, though. Steven Hyde could always surprise you by showing that he cared. Besides, even if he didn’t come, your other friends would surely show up to see you and Jackie walk across the stage.
But as you sat in the overcrowded, echoey gym, all you could think about was making sure you didn’t miss your name being called by the class president. It was hard to focus with all the camera flashes and cheering families.
“Y/n L/n.” You stood up at the call of your name and moved through the chairs and up the stage. You heard cheers from the crowd of friends and families but couldn’t differentiate any of the voices. Grabbing your diploma and shaking the principal’s hand, you looked out to the audience. Unable to see anyone clearly, you shrugged and returned to your seat.
The ceremony felt like it went on forever. The names and claps seemed never-ending, but after God knows how long, caps were thrown, and you were released to meet with your families. Your family got to you before you could reach the bleachers. You were showered in affection, congratulations, and flowers.
So many flowers.
“Mom, you’re smothering me.” You laughed as your mom crushed you in her embrace and continuously kissed your cheeks.
“I don’t care. My baby graduated!” She took your face in her hands and peppered your forehead with more kisses. Your dad had to pull her off of you, whispering that you should go while you had a chance. As much as you loved your mother, you took that chance.
Speeding off, you looked all around to see if you could find any of your friends. It was an easy task; Kelso was a giant, so you were quick to find him smothering Jackie with affection while the rest of your friends surrounded them, clearly grossed out.
“Hey!” Donna spotted you first, bringing you into a hug before passing you around to everyone else. “We were starting to wonder where you were.”
“Mom got emotional.” You laughed as Eric patted your head, telling you, ‘Good job.’ Everyone else gave you the same sentiment, except for one. The one you were looking forward to the most. “Hey, where’s Hyde?”
“That’s weird,” Fez said, looking around the room. “He was just here.”
“Yeah, he’s around here somewhere.” Using his height advantage, Kelso searched through the crowd. His eyes lit up in recognition somewhere behind you, but he quickly turned around as if someone was telling him to look away. A few seconds later, you felt an arm around your shoulders, bringing your back to a familiar chest.
“Hey, Doll,” Hyde whispered in your ear, kissing the side of your head. “Congratulations.”
You squealed in delight, turning around in your boyfriend’s arm to hug and kiss him.
“I’m kind of surprised you’re here.” You looked down at the hand that wasn’t holding you. “With flowers.”
“Of course, I’m here, Y/n.” Hyde handed you the bouquet of F/f, making you thankful that you passed all the flowers you had already gotten to your dad before you ran off. His now free hand threaded through the hair at the back of your hair and brought you forward so he could kiss the top of your head. “I always show up for my girl.” You grinned.
“I’m so glad you came.”
“I’m proud of you, Doll.” Hyde leaned down to whisper into your ear. You could practically feel the smirk on his lips. “Maybe we should find an empty classroom so I can show you how proud I am.” You laughed, trying to ignore the heat rising in your face.
“Oh my gosh, shut up.”
I hope this 5 year time skip thing is just a rumor cuz S2 did not end at a place that makes sense for that to happen.
Like, it would make sense for Fexi’s relationship if he’s in prison so we wouldn’t have to deal with waiting for them to see each other again, but that’s about it.
Someone on Twitter said these characters would have no reason to still be in each others lives if there is a time skip after S2 and I completely agree. It made sense with One Tree Hill and Pretty Little Liars cuz it left off at a place where all of the characters had a good relationship with each other, but in Euphoria’s case? 😳
Rue and Jules broke up AGAIN, Maddy and Cassie aren’t friends anymore, there’s no way either of them should still be hung up on Nate after 5 years (unless Cassie actually DOES end up having Nate’s baby), and I highly doubt all of them would end up going to the same college.
Like, can we at least have a season that focuses on senior year and what all of them want to do in the future before we hit a 5 year time skip? Cuz aside from Lexi, Jules, and Fez, I literally don’t remember the other characters discussing the jobs they’d like to have when they are adults. Not even RUE, aka THE MAIN CHARACTER!
