It's a new year! And that means a new profile Pic and watermark!

The biggest change is the swap from my milk-encapsuled-frog (patent pending/j) to my Sona! I decided on the swap because

It felt too branded? It didn't feel personalized or really meaningful, just an extension of my username

My Sona holds alot more of my identity, it's how I express myself in art

The frog is so hard to pose. It's literally in a milk carton and the perspective issues do not help.

How tf am I supposed to dress-up that frog in outfits, like do I put it in a different bottle?? Do I drill holes in a cola can???

I do love my froggy fellow but for now he will be retiring (maybe they'll find a hobby or start a band, they are freed from profile picture duty's to go do whatever they want).

Also I have two watermarks now! A signature and one with my Sona that's very reminiscent of my old watermark. All of my new stuff is more vibrant now to reflect alot more confidence and improvement in my art! I can't really explain the rainbowy stuff lmao, I just think it adds a bit of whimsy and looks neat.

I hope y'all enjoy the changes, they're a bit jarring but I think they're a lot more me!

Meet Skit (They/It)! They're an Eclipse-based (Lunar edition!) OC that I've been brainstorming a story for for a while. It's very curious, but also really skittish and very easily spooked. (This is why they go by Skit, also bc I think I'm funny haha-)

So far the story I have is that Skit is the newest Daycare Attendant! They work with the much quieter, more hands-on kids that Sun and Moon can't watch over along with the rest of the kids.

Sun and Moon... Don't initially like it, but eventually grow pretty close after a while.

(Also yes, the stars on their outfit do glow softly, as well as the star at the end of their tail. It also rattles bc fidget toy go brr)

"don't even say nothing's wrong because that look on your face says otherwise," you start, taking a seat next to her as you reach over to set her on your lap. this surprises the girl, but she just gives you a gentle smile. a sigh leaves her pink, plump lips before she begins to speak about what's going on.

★ — PROD!READER WHO... is at every single one of billies concerts/shows and is always cheering her on. you're her biggest fan in and outside of the studio.

☆ — PROD!READER WHO... watches in awe as billie sings into the mic, hitting the notes perfectly. you're always blown away by her impressive vocals, praising her for it any chance you get.

★ — PROD!READER WHO... always makes billie watch the premiere of a new single/album that you helped an artist work on, pointing out little things that you're super proud of as billie just sits back and listens with a smile on her face. she never turns you down, even listening to the music while doing work on her laptop.

"the beat drop, oh my gosh! listen, list—did you hear it?" you ramble with a huge smile on your face, looking over your shoulder at billie who just hums and nods her head.

What an unexpected joke drawing for myself and friends with Touhou Project discussion. I did it for fun and some experimental brushes. Patchouli is my favorite of all Touhou's characters, she's really cute and I love her nightgown, librarian woman. Say, when you go the assets website to download, you saw really cool brushes & sets. You used it once and never picked up it up again. Well, it's time to go back with studies and use of old tools! I have to say; after I've bought CSP V3 stock version to upgrade, I'm pleased with all updates to use some convenient tools. I'm hoping that V4 update to consider facial expressions for 3d heads. My point is that, you've bought CSP's new version to make purpose out of it. You used it once that's already served. It is okay to not used it again, and perhaps if you want inconsistent painting just for fun, you do it for bored and pick it up. Nothing is wrong to stray away your artstyle as long as you're experiencing the studying niche tools, it's great to take a break from your main projects.  That's all I'm talking about, please enjoy my doodling artwork and share your friends. I may not able to do this again but I promise, if I get burned out or curious to do something else; I'll make a funny drawings out of it. Happy Spring!

UPDATE TO WIP (part 4 of 5 unless I give up)

I did the flat colors. I used my usual palette (plus some new colors… flesh is weird) except it’s really saturated and everyone is green or black or yellow. I’m considering giving everyone a white outline to help define them. I did prioritize colors in my palette, so I could just do more accurate colors.

Also decided to add watermark. It’s nice to be able to find artists.

I might do shading next, but have gotten into shrink-a-dinks and added murder drones to my pool of hyperfixations, so I’ll probably do some miscellaneous fanart and doodles before finishing this. Plus I started actually writing again, so there’s likely to be some OC art in the near future.
