reading lotr in chronological order got me thinking "this is a really cool way to read lotr!" which in turn got me thinking in why tolkien chose to write the events happening with sam and frodo in books 4 and 6, while 3 and 5 follows aragorn and co. i guess the most apparent reason is that you first see the rest of the fellowship doing everything they can to win this war, even though they depend on frodo completing his quest and having no idea if he'll succeed or even if he's still alive, but they still do all they can anyway, and this format puts the reader in the same position as the characters. it's the same when aragorn, legolas, and gimli are looking for merry and pippin, neither them nor we know what’s at the end of the road, but they go ahead anyway

If you don't understand the difference between:

-Complaining on the radio: understandable, they are high on adrenaline and also usually try to get the rival a penalty, they all do that.

-Complaining about your teammate in every interview you have oportunity after the race, when you already had a little time to think, especially when you are not in the right.

When i reach 1000 posts in my drafts I will drink a beer like a boring normal person and attempting to play videogames without probably telling anyone that it happened because there is nothing to be celebrated about that I can't keep up with my friends OCs and fanfictions so I save them to be when I actually have time and energy to read them with full brain capacity. (yes i triggered myself into sadness. don't worry about it.)

Marc returns to the paddock months after giving birth to his baby sooo he's still breastfeeding and his breast hurts cause of the accumulated milk. Then one day while talking(arguing) with vale about something related to the baby his shirt gets wet in the breast area, valentino notices that and can't take his eyes off the omega's chest...something in his mind just explode and he becomes obsessed with the idea of drink Marc's milk.

He's a weirdo but marc too.

So with the excuse of "fuck it, i'll do anything to reduce the pain" he lets Valentino drink the milk from his breast.

so yeah idk why but sometimes when I'm reading a fic I just forget that danny phantom was a tv-show FOR KIDS!

so then I am having all these angsty plosts in my head and then it's getting a little too angsty, but then I remember that danny phantom is just really angsty from the start.

and then I am just like "oh fuck, danny phantom was a kids show." so, yeah.

so I am now busy with writing the canon stuff from danny phantom, because I also tend to forget what's canon and fanon :)

look i love being a humanities student and all, but constantly debating everything and criticizing societal norms and views in every single lesson gets tiring really quickly. and today my prof said that most humanities academics are on the more liberal side of things. which is not at all surprising. but being too liberal is not necessarily a good thing.

it gets to a point where it's just like there is no right and there is no wrong. it just is. everything is just is.
